01-GENESIS
01-11:8 So
the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and
they left off to build the city.
01-13:9 Is not the whole land before thee?
separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou
wilt take the left hand, then I will go to
the right; or if thou depart to the
right hand, then I will go to the left.
01-14:15 And
he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them,
and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on
the left hand of
01-17:22 And
he left off talking with him, and God went up
from Abraham.
01-18:33 And
the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left
communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
01-24:27 And
he said, Blessed be the LORD God of
my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute
my master of his mercy and his truth: I being
in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.
01-24:49 And
now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell
me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left.
01-29:35 And
she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD:
therefore she called his name
01-30:9 When
Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took
Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife.
01-32:8 And
said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company
which is left shall escape.
01-32:24 And
Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man
with him until the breaking of the day.
01-39:6 And
he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he
knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.
01-39:12 And
she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him
out.
01-39:13 And
it came to pass, when she saw that he had left
his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,
01-39:15 And
it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.
01-39:18 And
it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.
01-41:49 And
Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
01-42:38 And
he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the
which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
01-44:12 And
he searched, and began at the eldest,
and left at the youngest: and the cup was found
in Benjamin’s sack.
01-44:20 And
we said unto my lord, We have a father, an old man, and a child of his old age,
a little one; and his brother is dead, and he alone is left
of his mother, and his father loveth him.
01-47:18 When
that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We
will not hide it from my lord, how
that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not
ought left in the sight of my lord, but our
bodies, and our lands:
01-48:13 And
Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near unto him.
01-48:14 And
Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was
the younger, and his left hand upon
Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
01-50:8 And
all the house of Joseph, and his brethren, and his father’s house: only their
little ones, and their flocks, and their herds, they left
in the
02-2:20 And
he said unto his daughters, And where is he?
why is it that ye have left the man? call him,
that he may eat bread.
02-9:21 And
he that regarded not the word of the LORD left
his servants and his cattle in the field.
02-10:12 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the
02-10:15 For
they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and
they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the
hail had left: and there remained not any green
thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the
02-10:26 Our
cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the
LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come
thither.
02-14:22 And
the children of
02-14:29 But
the children of Israel walked upon dry land
in the midst of the sea; and the waters were
a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
02-16:20 Notwithstanding
they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left
of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with
them.
02-34:25 Thou
shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the
sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left
unto the morning.
03-2:10 And
that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings
of the LORD made by fire.
03-10:12 And
Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the
offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar:
for it is most holy:
03-10:16 And
Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was
burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left
alive, saying,
03-14:15 And
the priest shall take some of the log
of oil, and pour it into the palm of
his own left hand:
03-14:16 And
the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall
sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:
03-14:26 And
the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
03-14:27 And
the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in
his left hand seven times before the LORD:
03-26:36 And
upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands
of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they
shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
03-26:39 And
they that are left of you shall pine away in
their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and also in the iniquities of their
fathers shall they pine away with them.
03-26:43 The
land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy
her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of
the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my
judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
04-20:17 Let
us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields,
or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king’s high way, we will not turn to the right
hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy
borders.
04-21:35 So
they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.
04-22:26 And
the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right
hand or to the left.
04-26:65 For
the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there
was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son
of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
05-2:27 Let
me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn
unto the right hand nor to the left.
05-2:34 And
we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the
women, and the little ones, of every city, we left
none to remain:
05-3:3 So
the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of
05-4:27 And
the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD
shall lead you.
05-5:32 Ye
shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall
not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
05-7:20 Moreover
the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.
05-17:11 According
to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the
judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from
the sentence which they shall shew thee, to
the right hand, nor to the left.
05-17:20 That
his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from
the commandment, to the right hand,
or to the left:
to the end that he may prolong his days
in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of
05-28:14 And
thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left,
to go after other gods to serve them.
05-28:55 So
that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall
eat: because he hath nothing left him in the
siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in
all thy gates.
05-28:62 And
ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were
as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice
of the LORD thy God.
05-32:36 For
the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he
seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
06-1:7 Only
be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to
all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left,
that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
06-6:23 And
the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father,
and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out
all her kindred, and left them without the camp
of Israel.
06-8:17 And
there was not a man left in Ai or
06-10:33 Then
Horam king of
06-10:37 And
they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof,
and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none
remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it
utterly, and all the souls that were therein.
06-10:39 And
he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote
them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir,
and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.
06-10:40 So
Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale,
and of the springs, and all their kings: he left
none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of
06-11:8 And
the LORD delivered them into the hand of
06-11:11 And
they smote all the souls that were therein
with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to
breathe: and he burnt Hazor with fire.
06-11:14 And
all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of
06-11:15 As
the LORD commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did
Joshua; he left nothing undone of all that the
LORD commanded Moses.
06-11:22 There
was none of the Anakims left in the land of the
children of
06-19:27 And
turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the
06-22:3 Ye
have not left your brethren these many days unto
this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God.
06-23:6 Be
ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book
of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the
left;
07-2:21 I
also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which
Joshua left when he died:
07-2:23 Therefore
the LORD left those nations, without driving
them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
07-3:1 Now
these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as
had not known all the wars of Canaan;
07-3:21 And
Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger
from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly:
07-4:16 But
Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the
Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.
07-6:4 And
they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou
come unto

the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps
in their left hands, and the trumpets in their
right hands to blow withal: and they
cried, The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.
07-8:10 Now
Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor,
and their hosts with them, about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of all the
hosts of the children of the east: for there fell an hundred and twenty
thousand men that drew sword.
07-9:5 And
he went unto his father’s house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of
Jerubbaal, being threescore and ten
persons, upon one stone: notwithstanding yet Jotham the youngest son of
Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself.
07-16:29 And
Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on
which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with
his left.
08-1:3 And
Elimelech Naomi’s husband died; and she was left,
and her two sons.
08-1:5 And
Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.
08-1:18 When
she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.
08-2:11 And
Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou
hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left
thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a
people which thou knewest not heretofore.
08-2:14 And
Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip
thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her
parched corn, and she did eat, and
was sufficed, and left.
08-2:20 And
Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left
off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The
man is near of kin unto us, one of
our next kinsmen.
08-4:14 And
the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the
LORD, which hath not left thee this day without
a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.
09-2:36 And
it shall come to pass, that every one
that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver
and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the
priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
09-5:4 And
when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD;
and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
09-6:12 And

aside to the right hand or to the left;
and the lords of the Philistines went after them unto the border of
Bethshemesh.
09-9:24 And
the cook took up the shoulder, and that which
was upon it, and set it before Saul. And Samuel said, Behold that which is left!
set it before thee, and eat: for unto this time hath it been
kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with
Samuel that day.
09-10:2 When
thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s
sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The
asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you,
saying, What shall I do for my son?
09-11:11 And
it was so on the morrow, that Saul
put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in
the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it
came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were
not left together.
09-17:20 And
David rose up early in the morning, and left the
sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he
came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for
the battle.
09-17:22 And
David left his carriage in the hand of the
keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his
brethren.
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger
was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with
whom hast thou left those few sheep in the
wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art
come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-25:34 For
in very deed, as the LORD God of
Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst
hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left
unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-27:9 And
David smote the land, and left neither man nor
woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the
camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.
09-30:9 So
David went, he and the six hundred men that were
with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.
09-30:13 And
David said unto him, To whom belongest thou?
and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of

Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to
the left from following Abner.
10-2:21 And
Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and
take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
10-5:21 And
there they left their images, and David and his
men burned them.
10-9:1 And
David said, Is there yet any that is left of the
house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?
10-13:30 And
it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David,
saying, Absalom hath slain all the king’s sons, and there is not one of them left.
10-14:7 And,
behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said,
Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his
brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall
quench my coal which is left, and shall not
leave to my husband neither name nor
remainder upon the earth.
10-14:19 And
the king said, Is not the hand of
Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king,
none can turn to the right hand or to the left
from ought that my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me,
and he put all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
10-15:16 And
the king went forth, and all his household after him. And the king left ten women, which
were concubines, to keep the house.
10-16:6 And
he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the
people and all the mighty men were on
his right hand and on his left.
10-16:21 And
Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Go in unto thy father’s concubines, which he hath
left to keep the house; and all
10-17:12 So
shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will light
upon him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him there shall not be left so much as one.
10-20:3 And
David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed
them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their
death, living in widowhood.
11-7:21 And
he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right
pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
11-7:39 And
he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the
right side of the house eastward over against the south.
11-7:47 And
Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding
many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.
11-7:49 And
the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before
the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
11-9:20 And all the people that were left of the Amorites,
Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of
11-9:21 Their
children that were left after them in the land, whom

11-14:10 Therefore,
behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from
Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and
him that is shut up and left in
11-15:18 Then
Asa took all the silver and the gold that
were left in the treasures of the house of
the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered them into the
hand of his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon,
the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
11-15:21 And
it came to pass, when Baasha heard thereof,
that he left off building of Ramah, and
dwelt in Tirzah.
11-15:29 And
it came to pass, when he reigned, that he
smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to
Jeroboam any that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according unto the
saying of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite:
11-16:11 And
it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he
left him not one that pisseth against a wall,
neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
11-17:17 And
it came to pass after these things, that the
son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so
sore, that there was no breath left in him.
11-19:3 And
when he saw that, he arose, and went
for his life, and came to
11-19:10 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children
of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy
prophets with the sword; and I, even I
only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it
away.
11-19:14 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children
of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy
prophets with the sword; and I, even I
only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it
away.
11-19:18 Yet
I have left me
seven thousand in
11-19:20 And
he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and
said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said
unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?
11-20:30 But
the rest fled to Aphek, into the city; and there
a wall fell upon twenty and seven thousand of the men that were left. And Benhadad fled,
and came into the city, into an inner chamber.
11-21:21 Behold,
I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off
from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
11-22:19 And
he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on
his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on
his left.
12-3:25 And
they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his
stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all
the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they
the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
12-4:44 So
he set it before them, and they did
eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the LORD.
12-7:7 Wherefore
they arose and fled in the twilight, and left
their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some
take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they
are even as all the multitude of the
Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.
12-8:6 And
when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed unto her a
certain officer, saying, Restore all that was
hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now.
12-9:8 For
the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that
pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left
in
12-10:11 So
Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great
men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left
him none remaining.
12-10:14 And
he said, Take them alive. And they took them alive, and slew them at the pit of
the shearing house, even two and
forty men; neither left he any of them.
12-10:21 And
Jehu sent through all
12-11:11 And
the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king,
from the right corner of the temple to the left
corner of the temple, along by the
altar and the temple.
12-14:26 For
the LORD saw the affliction of
12-17:16 And
they left all the commandments of the LORD their
God, and made them molten images, even two
calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served
Baal.
12-17:18 Therefore
the LORD was very angry with
12-19:4 It
may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of
12-20:17 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in
thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day,
shall be carried into
12-22:2 And
he did that which was right in the
sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned
not aside to the right hand or to the left.
12-23:8 And
he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high
places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake
down the high places of the gates that were
in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left
hand at the gate of the city.
12-25:11 Now
the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to
the king of
12-25:12 But
the captain of the guard left of the poor of the
land to be vinedressers and
husbandmen.
12-25:22 And
as for the people that remained in
the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of
Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.
13-6:44 And
their brethren the sons of Merari stood on
the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son
of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
13-6:61 And
unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe
of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
13-12:2 They were armed with bows, and could use
both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even
of Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
13-13:2 And
David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that
it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every
where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather
themselves unto us:
13-14:12 And
when they had left their gods there, David gave
a commandment, and they were burned with fire.
13-16:37 So
he left there before the ark of the covenant of
the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as
every day’s work required:
14-3:17 And
he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the
other on the left; and called the name of that
on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left
Boaz.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for
the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-4:7 And
he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right
hand, and five on the left.
14-4:8 He
made also ten tables, and placed them in
the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left.
And he made an hundred basons of gold.
14-8:7 As for all the people that were left
of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the
Jebusites, which were not of
14-8:8 But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of
14-11:14 For
the Levites left their suburbs and their
possession, and came to
14-12:5 Then
came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to
the princes of
14-16:5 And
it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that
he left off building of Ramah, and let his work
cease.
14-18:18 Again
he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his
throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
14-21:17 And
they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that
was found in the king’s house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there
was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the
youngest of his sons.
14-23:10 And
he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side
of the temple to the left side of the temple,
along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
14-24:18 And
they left the house of the LORD God of their
fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon
14-24:25 And
when they were departed from him, (for they left
him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of
the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they
buried him in the city of
14-25:12 And
other ten thousand left alive
did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of
the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were
broken in pieces.
14-28:14 So
the armed men left the captives and the spoil
before the princes and all the congregation.
14-31:10 And
Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings
into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and
that which is left is this great store.
14-32:31 Howbeit
in the business of the ambassadors of
the princes of
14-34:2 And
he did that which was right in the
sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
14-34:21 Go,
enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left
in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for
great is the wrath of the LORD that
is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD,
to do after all that is written in this book.
16-1:2 That
Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain
men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which
were left of the captivity, and concerning
Jerusalem.
16-1:3 And
they said unto me, The remnant that are left of
the captivity there in the province are in
great affliction and reproach: the wall of
16-6:1 Now
it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the
rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up
the doors upon the gates;)
16-8:4 And
Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the
purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah,
and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and
Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
18-20:21 There
shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall
no man look for his goods.
18-20:26 All
darkness shall be hid in his secret places:
a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.
18-23:9 On
the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot
behold him: he hideth himself on the
right hand, that I cannot see him:
18-32:15 They
were amazed, they answered no more: they left
off speaking.
19-36:3 The
words of his mouth are iniquity and
deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
19-106:11 And
the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
20-3:16 Length
of days is in her right hand; and in her left
hand riches and honour.
20-4:27 Turn
not to the right hand nor to the left: remove
thy foot from evil.
20-29:15 The
rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
21-10:2 A
wise man’s heart is at his right
hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.
22-2:6 His
left hand is
under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
22-8:3 His
left hand should
be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.
23-1:8 And
the daughter of
23-1:9 Except
the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small
remnant, we should have been as
23-4:3 And
it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he
that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
23-7:22 And
it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey
shall every one eat that is left in the land.
23-9:20 And
he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall
eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
23-10:14 And
my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth
eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved
the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
23-11:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his
people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and
from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar,
and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
23-11:16 And
there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the
day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
23-17:6 Yet
gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the
shaking of an olive tree, two or three
berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God
of
23-17:9 In
that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost
branch, which they left because of the children
of
23-18:6 They
shall be left together unto the fowls of the
mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon
them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
23-24:6 Therefore
hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate:
therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
23-24:12 In
the city is left desolation, and the gate is
smitten with destruction.
23-27:10 Yet
the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and
there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
23-30:17 One
thousand shall flee at the rebuke of
one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left
as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
23-30:21 And
thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when
ye turn to the left.
23-32:14 Because
the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever,
a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
23-37:4 It
may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of
23-39:6 Behold,
the days come, that all that is in
thine house, and that which thy fathers
have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to
23-49:21 Then
shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost
my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath
brought up these? Behold, I was left alone;
these, where had they been?
23-54:3 For
thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left;
and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be
inhabited.
24-12:7 I
have forsaken mine house, I have left mine
heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her
enemies.
24-21:7 And
afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his
servants, and the people, and such as are left
in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the
hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and
into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the
edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.
24-27:18 But
if they be prophets, and if the word
of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts,
that the vessels which are left in the house of
the LORD, and in the house of the
king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
24-31:2 Thus
saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even
24-34:7 When
the king of
24-38:22 And,
behold, all the women that are left in the king
of Judah’s house shall be brought
forth to the king of Babylon’s princes, and those women shall say, Thy friends have set thee on, and have prevailed
against thee: thy feet are sunk in the mire, and they are turned away back.
24-38:27 Then
came all the princes unto Jeremiah, and asked him: and he told them according
to all these words that the king had commanded. So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.
24-39:10 But
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the
poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them
vineyards and fields at the same time.
24-40:6 Then
went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him
among the people that were left in the land.
24-40:11 Likewise
when all the Jews that were in Moab,
and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;
24-42:2 And
said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be
accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a
few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)
24-43:6 Even men, and women, and children, and
the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the
guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam
the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
24-44:18 But
since we left off to burn incense to the queen
of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the
sword and by the famine.
24-49:25 How
is the city of praise not left, the city of my
joy!
24-50:26 Come
against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps,
and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.
24-52:16 But
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for
vinedressers and for husbandmen.
26-1:10 As
for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face
of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
26-4:4 Lie
thou also upon thy left side, and lay the
iniquity of the house of
26-9:8 And
it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said,
Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of
26-14:22 Yet,
behold, therein shall be left a remnant that
shall be brought forth, both sons and
daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way
and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have
brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning
all that I have brought upon it.
26-16:46 And
thine elder sister is
26-21:16 Go
thee one way or other, either on the
right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.
26-23:8 Neither
left she her whoredoms brought from
26-24:21 Speak
unto the house of
26-31:12 And
strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys
his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the
land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
26-36:36 Then
the heathen that are left round about you shall
know that I the LORD build the ruined places,
and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
26-39:3 And
I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and
will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
26-39:28 Then
shall they know that I am the LORD
their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I
have gathered them unto their own land, and have left
none of them any more there.
26-41:9 The
thickness of the wall, which was for
the side chamber without, was five
cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within.
26-41:11 And
the doors of the side chambers were toward
the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door
toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits
round about.
26-48:15 And
the five thousand, that are left in the breadth
over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and
for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.
27-2:44 And
in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which
shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left
to other people, but it shall break
in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
27-10:8 Therefore
I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and
there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into
corruption, and I retained no strength.
27-10:17 For
how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me,
straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
27-12:7 And
I heard the man clothed in linen, which was
upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth
for ever that it shall be for a time,
times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of
the holy people, all these things shall
be finished.
28-4:10 For
they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not
increase: because they have left off to take
heed to the LORD.
28-9:12 Though
they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a
man left: yea,
woe also to them when I depart from them!
29-1:4 That
which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust
eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath
the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpillar eaten.
32-4:11 And
should not I spare
37-2:3 Who
is left
among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of
it as nothing?
38-4:3 And
two olive trees by it, one upon the right side
of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
38-4:11 Then
answered I, and said unto him, What are these
two olive trees upon the right side of
the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
38-12:6 In
that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the
wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people
round about, on the right hand and on the left:
and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
38-13:8 And
it shall come to pass, that in all the
land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left
therein.
38-14:16 And
it shall come to pass, that every one
that is left of all the nations which came
against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
40-4:20 And
they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
40-4:22 And
they immediately left the ship and their father,
and followed him.
40-6:3 But
when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know
what thy right hand doeth:
40-8:15 And
he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and
she arose, and ministered unto them.
40-15:37 And
they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left
seven baskets full.
40-16:4 A
wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign
be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
40-20:21 And
he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two
sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
40-20:23 And
he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the
baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
40-21:17 And
he left them, and went out of the city into
40-22:22 When
they had heard these words, they
marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
40-22:25 Now
there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife,
deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife
unto his brother:
40-23:38 Behold,
your house is left unto you desolate.
40-24:2 And
Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There
shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
40-24:40 Then
shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
40-24:41 Two
women shall be grinding at the mill;
the one shall be taken, and the other left.
40-25:33 And
he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
40-25:41 Then
shall he say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and
his angels:
40-26:44 And
he left them, and went away again, and prayed
the third time, saying the same words.
40-27:38 Then
were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another
on the left.
41-1:20 And
straightway he called them: and they left their
father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.
41-1:31 And
he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
41-8:8 So
they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left
seven baskets.
41-8:13 And
he left them, and entering into the ship again
departed to the other side.
41-10:28 Then
Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left
all, and have followed thee.
41-10:29 And
Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or
mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
41-10:37 They
said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the
other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
41-10:40 But
to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is
not mine to give; but it shall be given
to them for whom it is prepared.
41-12:12 And
they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he
had spoken the parable against them: and they left
him, and went their way.
41-12:20 Now
there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
41-12:21 And
the second took her, and died, neither left he
any seed: and the third likewise.
41-12:22 And
the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all
the woman died also.
41-13:2 And
Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall
not be left one stone upon another, that shall
not be thrown down.
41-13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a
far journey, who left his house, and gave
authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter
to watch.
41-14:52 And
he left the linen cloth, and fled from them
naked.
41-15:27 And
with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on
his left.
42-4:39 And
he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left
her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
42-5:4 Now
when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon,
Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
42-5:28 And
he left all, rose up, and followed him.
42-10:40 But
Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost
thou not care that my sister hath left me to
serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
42-13:35 Behold,
your house is left unto you desolate: and verily
I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the
time come when ye shall say, Blessed is
he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
42-17:34 I
tell you, in that night there shall be two men
in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
42-17:35 Two
women shall be grinding together; the
one shall be taken, and the other left.
42-17:36 Two
men shall be in the field; the one
shall be taken, and the other left.
42-18:28 Then
Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed
thee.
42-18:29 And
he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or
children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,
42-20:31 And
the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.
42-21:6 As for these things which ye behold, the
days will come, in the which there shall not be left
one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
42-23:33 And
when they were come to the place, which is called
43-4:3 He
left
43-4:28 The
woman then left her waterpot, and went her way
into the city, and saith to the men,
43-4:52 Then
enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him,
Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left
him.
43-8:9 And
they which heard it, being convicted
by their own conscience, went out one
by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto
the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the
woman standing in the midst.
43-8:29 And
he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left
me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
44-2:31 He
seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
