abroad.
01-15:14 And also
that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
01-32:20 And say ye
moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will
appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward
I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me.
01-38:30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet
thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
02-5:1 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh,
Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast
unto me in the wilderness.
02-34:32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh:
and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount
Sinai.
03-14:19 And the priest shall offer the sin
offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his
uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the
burnt offering:
03-14:36 Then the priest shall command that
they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague,
that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
03-16:28 And he that burneth them shall wash
his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward
he shall come into the camp.
03-22:7 And when the sun is down, he shall
be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy
things; because it is his food.
04-5:26 And the
priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof,
and burn it upon the altar, and afterward
shall cause the woman to drink the water.
04-12:16 And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and
pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
04-19:7 Then the priest
shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest
shall be unclean until the even.
04-31:2 Avenge
the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward
shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.
04-31:24 And ye
shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp.
04-32:22 And the
land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward
ye shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this
land shall be your possession before the LORD.
05-17:7 The hands
of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt
put the evil away from among you.
05-24:21 When thou
gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for
the fatherless, and for the widow.
06-2:16 And she
said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide
yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.
06-8:34 And afterward he read all the words of the law, the
blessings and cursings, according to all that is written in the book of the
law.
06-10:26 And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged
them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the
evening.
06-24:5 I sent
Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among
them: and afterward I brought you out.
07-1:9 And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight
against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in
the valley.
07-7:11 And thou
shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall
thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with
Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the
host.
07-16:4 And it
came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in
the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.
07-19:5 And it
came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he
rose up to depart: and the damsel’s father said unto his son in law,
Comfort thine heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward
go your way.
09-24:5 And it came to pass afterward,
that David’s heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul’s skirt.
09-24:8 David also arose afterward,
and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king. And
when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and
bowed himself.
10-3:28 And afterward when David
heard it, he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before the LORD
for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner:
13-2:21 And afterward Hezron went
in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was
threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
14-35:14 And afterward they made
ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons
of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until
night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the
sons of Aaron.
15-3:5 And afterward offered the continual burnt offering,
both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were
consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto
the LORD.
16-6:10 Afterward I came unto the
house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut
up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple,
and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay
thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
19-73:24 Thou shalt
guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive
me to glory.
23-1:26 And I
will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the
beginning: afterward thou shalt be
called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
23-9:1 Nevertheless
the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when
at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
and afterward did more grievously afflict her
by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
24-21:7 And afterward, saith the
LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people,
and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from
the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand
of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and
he shall smite them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them,
neither have pity, nor have mercy.
24-34:11 But afterward they turned,
and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to
return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.
24-46:26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek
their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the
hand of his servants: and afterward it
shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.
24-49:6 And afterward I will bring
again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD.
26-41:1 Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured
the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other
side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.
26-43:1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the
gate that looketh toward the east:
26-47:1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the
house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house
eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east,
and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the
south side of the altar.
26-47:5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a
river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim
in, a river that could not be passed over.
27-8:27 And I
Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward
I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but
none understood it.
28-3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and
seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his
goodness in the latter days.
29-2:28 And it
shall come to pass afterward, that I will
pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
40-4:2 And when
he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward
an hungered.
40-21:29 He
answered and said, I will not: but afterward
he repented, and went.
40-21:32 For John
came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but
the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it,
repented not afterward, that ye might
believe him.
40-25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord,
Lord, open to us.
41-4:17 And have
no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for
the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
41-16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat,
and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they
believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
42-4:2 Being
forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing:
and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
42-8:1 And it
came to pass afterward, that he went throughout
every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom
of God: and the twelve were with him,
42-17:8 And will
not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and
serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward
thou shalt eat and drink?
42-18:4 And he
would not for a while: but afterward he
said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
43-5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said
unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing
come unto thee.
44-13:21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave
unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of
forty years.
46-15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at
his coming.
46-15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but
that which is natural; and afterward that which
is spiritual.
58-4:8 For if
Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward
have spoken of another day.
58-12:11 Now no
chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable
fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
58-12:17 For ye
know how that afterward, when he would have
inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of
repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
65-1:5 I will
therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward
destroyed them that believed not.

01-30:21 And afterwards she bare a daughter, and called her name Dinah.
02-11:1 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and
upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence:
when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence
altogether.
05-13:9 But thou
shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death,
and afterwards the hand of all the people.
09-9:13 As soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway
find him, before he go up to the high place to eat: for the people will
not eat until he come, because he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden. Now therefore get
you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
18-18:2 How long will
it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards
we will speak.
20-20:17 Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
20-24:27 Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in
the field; and afterwards build thine house.

shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
20-29:11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth
it in till afterwards.
26-11:24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a
vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the
vision that I had seen went up from me.
43-13:36 Simon
Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I
go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
48-1:21 Afterwards I came into the
regions of Syria and Cilicia;
48-3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut
up unto the faith which should afterwards be
revealed.

that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came
to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters,
and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
09-15:8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly
destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
09-15:9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep,
and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good,
and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile
and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
09-15:20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I
have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent
me, and have brought Agag the
king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
09-15:32 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to
me Agag the king of the Amalekites.
And Agag came
unto him delicately. And Agag said,
Surely the bitterness of death is past.

made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel
hewed Agag in
pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all

17-3:10 And the king took his ring from his
hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy.
17-8:3 And Esther spake yet again before
the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away
the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and
his device that he had devised against the Jews.
17-8:5 And said, If it please the king,
and if I have found favour in his sight, and the thing seem right before
the king, and I be pleasing in his eyes, let it be written to reverse
the letters devised by Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, which he wrote to destroy the Jews which are
in all the king’s provinces:
17-9:24 Because Haman the son of Hammedatha,
the Agagite, the
enemy of all the Jews, had devised against the Jews to destroy them, and had
cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them;
