40-MATTHEW

40-1:17     So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

40-1:22     Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

40-2:3      When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

40-2:4      And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

40-2:16     Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.

40-3:5      Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

40-3:15     And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

40-4:8      Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

40-4:9      And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

40-4:23     And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

40-4:24     And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

40-5:11     Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

40-5:15     Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

40-5:18     For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

40-5:34     But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne:

40-6:29     And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

40-6:32     (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

40-6:33     But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

40-7:12     Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

40-8:16     When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

40-9:26     And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.

40-9:31     But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

40-9:35     And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

40-10:1     And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

40-10:22    And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

40-10:30    But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

40-11:13    For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

40-11:27    All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

40-11:28    Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

40-12:15    But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

40-12:23    And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

40-12:31    Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

40-13:32    Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

40-13:34    All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

40-13:41    The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

40-13:44    Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

40-13:46    Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

40-13:51    Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

40-13:56    And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?

40-14:20    And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

40-14:35    And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

40-15:37    And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

40-17:11    And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

40-18:25    But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

40-18:26    The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

40-18:29    And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

40-18:31    So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

40-18:32    Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

40-18:34    And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

40-19:11    But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

40-19:20    The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

40-20:6     And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

40-21:4     All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

40-21:10    And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

40-21:12    And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

40-21:22    And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

40-21:26    But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

40-21:37    But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

40-22:4     Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

40-22:37    Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

40-22:40    On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

40-23:3     All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

40-23:5     But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

40-23:8     But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

40-23:20    Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.

40-23:27    Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

40-23:35    That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

40-23:36    Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

40-24:2     And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

40-24:6     And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

40-24:8     All these are the beginning of sorrows.

40-24:9     Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

40-24:14    And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

40-24:30    And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

40-24:33    So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

40-24:34    Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

40-24:39    And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40-25:32    And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

40-26:1     And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,

40-26:27    And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

40-26:52    Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

40-26:56    But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

40-26:59    Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

40-26:70    But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.

40-27:1     When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

40-28:18    And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

40-28:19    Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

40-28:20    Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

42-4:6      And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

42-4:7      If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

42-4:13     And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

42-4:14     And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

42-4:15     And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

42-4:20     And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

42-4:22     And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

42-4:25     But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

42-4:28     And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

42-4:36     And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

42-4:40     Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

42-5:5      And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

42-5:9      For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

42-5:11     And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

42-5:26     And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

42-5:28     And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

42-6:10     And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

42-6:12     And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

42-6:17     And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

42-6:19     And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

42-6:26     Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

42-7:1      Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

42-7:16     And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

42-7:17     And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

42-7:18     And the disciples of John shewed him of all these things.

42-7:29     And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

42-7:35     But wisdom is justified of all her children.

42-8:40     And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

42-8:43     And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

42-8:45     And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

42-8:47     And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

42-8:52     And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.

42-8:54     And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

42-9:1      Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

42-9:7      Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;

42-9:10     And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

42-9:13     But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.

42-9:15     And they did so, and made them all sit down.

42-9:17     And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

42-9:23     And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

42-9:43     And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

42-9:48     And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

42-10:19    Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

42-10:22    All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

42-10:27    And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

42-11:22    But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

42-11:41    But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

42-11:42    But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

42-11:50    That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

42-12:1     In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

42-12:7     But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

42-12:18    And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

42-12:27    Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

42-12:30    For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

42-12:31    But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

42-12:41    Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

42-12:44    Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

42-13:2     And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

42-13:3     I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

42-13:4     Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

42-13:5     I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

42-13:17    And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

42-13:27    But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

42-13:28    There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

42-14:17    And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

42-14:18    And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

42-14:29    Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

42-14:33    So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

42-15:1     Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.

42-15:13    And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

42-15:14    And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

42-15:31    And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

42-16:14    And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

42-16:26    And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

42-17:10    So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

42-17:27    They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

42-17:29    But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

42-18:12    I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

42-18:21    And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.

42-18:22    Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

42-18:28    Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

42-18:31    Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

42-18:43    And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.

42-19:7     And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

42-19:37    And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

42-19:48    And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

42-20:6     But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

42-20:32    Last of all the woman died also.

42-20:38    For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

42-20:40    And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

42-20:45    Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,

42-21:3     And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

42-21:4     For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

42-21:12    But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

42-21:15    For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

42-21:17    And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

42-21:22    For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

42-21:24    And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

42-21:29    And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

42-21:32    Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

42-21:35    For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

42-21:36    Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

42-21:38    And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

42-22:70    Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

42-23:5     And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

42-23:18    And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

42-23:44    And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

42-23:48    And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

42-23:49    And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

42-24:9     And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

42-24:14    And they talked together of all these things which had happened.

42-24:19    And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

42-24:21    But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

42-24:25    Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

42-24:27    And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

42-24:44    And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

42-24:47    And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
