01-36:12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz
Esau’s son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek:
these were the sons of Adah Esau’s
wife.
01-36:16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek:
these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of
Edom; these were the sons of Adah.
02-17:8 Then came
Amalek, and fought with Israel in
Rephidim.
02-17:9 And Moses
said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God
in mine hand.
02-17:10 So Joshua
did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and
Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
02-17:11 And it
came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
02-17:13 And Joshua
discomfited Amalek and
his people with the edge of the sword.
02-17:14 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a
memorial in a book, and rehearse it in
the ears of Joshua: for I will
utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
02-17:16 For he
said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the
LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to
generation.
04-24:20 And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and
said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his
latter end shall be that he perish
for ever.
05-25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come
forth out of Egypt;
05-25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD
thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land
which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an
inheritance to possess it, that thou
shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
07-3:13 And he
gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the
city of palm trees.
07-5:14 Out of
Ephraim was there a root of them
against Amalek;
after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and
out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
09-15:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which
Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up
from Egypt.
09-15:3 Now go
and smite Amalek, and
utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and
woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
09-15:5 And Saul
came to a city of Amalek, and
laid wait in the valley.
09-15:20 And Saul
said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the
way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed
the Amalekites.
09-28:18 Because
thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD
done this thing unto thee this day.
10-8:12 Of Syria,
and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of
Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
13-1:36 The sons
of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
13-18:11 Them also
king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he
brought from all these nations; from
Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines,
and from Amalek.
19-83:7 Gebal,
and Ammon, and Amalek; the
Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

09-30:13 And David
said unto him, To whom belongest thou?
and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me,
because three days ago I fell sick.
10-1:8 And he
said unto me, Who art thou? And I
answered him, I am an Amalekite.
10-1:13 And David
said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am
the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

01-14:7 And they returned, and came to
Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote
all the country of the Amalekites,
and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.
04-13:29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites,
and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains:
and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
04-14:25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) To
morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
04-14:43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the
LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.
04-14:45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in
that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.
07-6:3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that
the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they
came up against them;
07-6:33 Then all
the Midianites and the Amalekites
and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched
in the valley of Jezreel.
07-7:12 And the
Midianites and the Amalekites
and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for
multitude; and their camels were without
number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
07-10:12 The
Zidonians also, and the Amalekites,
and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out
of their hand.
07-12:15 And Abdon
the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died, and was buried in Pirathon in the land
of Ephraim, in the mount of the Amalekites.
09-14:48 And he
gathered an host, and smote the Amalekites, and delivered Israel out of the hands of
them that spoiled them.
09-15:6 And Saul
said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with
them: for ye shewed kindness to all
the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed
from among the Amalekites.
09-15:7 And Saul
smote the Amalekites from
Havilah until thou comest to Shur,
that is over against Egypt.
09-15:8 And he
took Agag the king of the Amalekites
alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
09-15:15 And Saul
said, They have brought them from the Amalekites:
for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto
the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
09-15:18 And the
LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them
until they be consumed.
09-15:20 And Saul
said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the
way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have
utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
09-15:32 Then said
Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag
said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
09-27:8 And David
and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of
old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of
Egypt.
09-30:1 And it
came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that
the Amalekites
had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;
09-30:18 And David
recovered all that the Amalekites
had carried away: and David rescued
his two wives.
10-1:1 Now it
came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the
slaughter of the Amalekites,
and David had abode two days in Ziklag;
13-4:43 And they
smote the rest of the Amalekites
that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.

10-17:25 And
Absalom made Amasa
captain of the host instead of Joab:
which Amasa was a man’s son, whose name was Ithra an Israelite, that went in to
Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah Joab’s mother.
10-19:13 And say ye
to Amasa, Art thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more
also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of
Joab.
10-20:4 Then said
the king to Amasa,
Assemble me the men of Judah within three days, and be thou here present.
10-20:5 So Amasa went to assemble the men of Judah: but he tarried longer than the set time which he had appointed
him.
10-20:8 When they
were at the great stone which is in Gibeon, Amasa went before them. And Joab’s garment that he had
put on was girded unto him, and upon it a girdle with a sword fastened upon his loins in the sheath thereof; and as
he went forth it fell out.
10-20:9 And Joab
said to Amasa, Art thou in health, my brother? And Joab
took Amasa by the
beard with the right hand to kiss him.
10-20:10 But Amasa took no heed to the sword
that was in Joab’s hand: so he smote him therewith in the fifth
rib, and shed out his bowels to the
ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother
pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.
10-20:12 And Amasa wallowed in blood in the
midst of the highway. And when the man saw that all the people stood still, he
removed Amasa out of
the highway into the field, and cast a cloth upon him, when he saw that every
one that came by him stood still.
11-2:5 Moreover
thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto
Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the
blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes
that were on his feet.
11-2:32 And the
LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more
righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not
knowing thereof, to wit, Abner the
son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
13-2:17 And
Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
14-28:12 Then
certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan,
Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up

them captains of the band.
13-15:24 And
Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests,
did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were
doorkeepers for the ark.
14-29:12 Then the Levites
arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and

02-EXODUS
02-15:15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take
hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.
07-20:41 And when
the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for
they saw that evil was come upon them.
18-32:15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
23-13:8 And they
shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows
shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
26-32:10 Yea, I
will make many people amazed at thee, and their
kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before
them; and they shall tremble at every moment,
every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
40-12:23 And all
the people were amazed, and said, Is not this
the son of David?
40-19:25 When his
disciples heard it, they were
exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be
saved?
41-1:27 And they
were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned
among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth
he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
41-2:12 And
immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch
that they were all amazed, and glorified God,
saying, We never saw it on this fashion.
41-6:51 And he
went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in
themselves beyond measure, and wondered.
41-9:15 And
straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.
41-10:32 And they
were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again
the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,
41-14:33 And he
taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
41-16:8 And they
went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed:
neither said they any thing to any man; for
they were afraid.
42-2:48 And when
they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son,
why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee
sorrowing.
42-4:36 And they
were all amazed, and spake among themselves,
saying, What a word is this! for with
authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
42-5:26 And they
were all amazed, and they glorified God, and
were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
42-9:43 And they
were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But
while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his
disciples,
44-2:7 And they
were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to
another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
44-2:12 And they
were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one
to another, What meaneth this?
44-9:21 But all
that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them
which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that
he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

12-12:21 For
Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants,
smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of
David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
12-13:12 And the
rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might wherewith he
fought against Amaziah king
of Judah, are they not written in the
book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
12-14:1 In the
second year of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel reigned Amaziah the son of Joash king of
Judah.
12-14:8 Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash,
the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one
another in the face.
12-14:9 And
Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy
daughter to my son to wife: and
there passed by a wild beast that was in
Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
12-14:11 But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore
Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at
Bethshemesh, which belongeth to
Judah.
12-14:13 And
Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king
of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Bethshemesh, and came to
Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto
the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
12-14:15 Now the
rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his might, and how he fought with
Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles
of the kings of Israel?
12-14:17 And Amaziah the son of Joash king of
Judah lived after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.
12-14:18 And the
rest of the acts of Amaziah, are they not written in the book of the
chronicles of the kings of Judah?
12-14:21 And all
the people of Judah took Azariah, which was
sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.
12-14:23 In the
fifteenth year of Amaziah the
son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to
reign in Samaria, and reigned forty
and one years.
12-15:1 In the
twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
12-15:3 And he
did that which was right in the sight
of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;
13-3:12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son,
Jotham his son,
13-4:34 And
Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah, the son of Amaziah,
13-6:45 The son
of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the
son of Hilkiah,
14-24:27 Now concerning his sons, and the greatness
of the burdens laid upon him, and the
repairing of the house of God, behold, they are
written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
14-25:1 Amaziah was twenty and five years old when
he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And
his mother’s name was Jehoaddan of
Jerusalem.
14-25:5 Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together,
and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to
the houses of their fathers,
throughout all Judah and Benjamin:
and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three
hundred thousand choice men, able to
go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
14-25:9 And Amaziah said to the man of God, But
what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of
Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more
than this.
14-25:10 Then Amaziah separated them, to wit, the army that was come to him
out of Ephraim, to go home again:
wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned home
in great anger.
14-25:11 And Amaziah strengthened himself, and
led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children
of Seir ten thousand.
14-25:13 But the
soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent
back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of
Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them, and
took much spoil.
14-25:14 Now it
came to pass, after that Amaziah was
come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the
children of Seir, and set them up to be his
gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.
14-25:15 Wherefore
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said
unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not
deliver their own people out of thine hand?
14-25:17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice,
and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel,
saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.
14-25:18 And Joash
king of Israel sent to Amaziah king
of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in
Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in
Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
14-25:20 But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deliver them
into the hand of their enemies, because
they sought after the gods of Edom.
14-25:21 So Joash
the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.
14-25:23 And Joash
the king of Israel took Amaziah king
of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought
him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim
to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
14-25:25 And Amaziah the son of Joash king of
Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen
years.
14-25:26 Now the
rest of the acts of Amaziah,
first and last, behold, are they not
written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel?
14-25:27 Now after
the time that Amaziah did
turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in
Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish:
but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.
14-26:1 Then all
the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen
years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.
14-26:4 And he
did that which was right in the sight
of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
30-7:10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to
Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst
of the house of Israel: the land is
not able to bear all his words.
30-7:12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou
seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and
prophesy there:
30-7:14 Then
answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of
sycomore fruit:

06-9:4 They did work wilily, and went and
made as if they had been ambassadors, and took
old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;
14-32:31 Howbeit in
the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto
him to enquire of the wonder that was done
in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.
14-35:21 But he
sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to
do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not
against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
23-18:2 That
sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels
of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go,
ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible
from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land
the rivers have spoiled!
23-30:4 For his
princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came
to Hanes.
23-33:7 Behold,
their valiant ones shall cry without:
the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
26-17:15 But he
rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors
into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper?
shall he escape that doeth such things? or
shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?
47-5:20 Now then
we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did
beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s
stead, be ye reconciled to God.

42-LUKE
42-14:32 Or else,
while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage,
and desireth conditions of peace.

26-EZEKIEL
26-1:4 And I
looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a
fire infolding itself, and a brightness was
about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
26-1:27 And I saw
as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire
round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from
the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of
fire, and it had brightness round about.
26-8:2 Then I
beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from
his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.

06-JOSHUA
06-8:2 And thou shalt do to Ai and her
king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for
a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.
06-8:7 Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your God will deliver it into your hand.
06-8:9 Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Bethel and Ai, on the west
side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that
night among the people.
06-8:12 And he took about five thousand men,
and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and
Ai, on the west side of the city.
06-8:14 And it came to pass, when the king
of Ai saw it, that they hasted and
rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he
and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that
there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.
06-8:19 And the ambush
arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out
his hand: and they entered into the
city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on fire.
06-8:21 And when Joshua and all Israel saw
that the ambush had taken the city, and that the
smoke of the city ascended, then they turned again, and slew the men of Ai.

14-2 CHRONICLES
14-34:10 And they
put it in the hand of the workmen
that had the oversight of the house of the LORD, and they gave it to the
workmen that wrought in the house of the LORD, to repair and amend the house:
24-7:3 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend
your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
24-7:5 For if
ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if
ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;
24-26:13 Therefore
now amend your ways and your doings, and obey
the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that
he hath pronounced against you.
24-35:15 I have
sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man
from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go
not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have
given to you and to your fathers:
but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
43-4:52 Then
enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend.
And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
