01-10:16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
01-14:13 And there came one that had escaped,
and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and
brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
01-48:22 Moreover I have given to thee one
portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my
bow.
02-33:2 And I
will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the
Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
02-34:11 Observe
thou that which I command thee this day:
behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the
Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
04-32:39 And the children of Machir the son of
Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.
05-2:24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and
pass over the river Arnon: behold, I
have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
06-9:1 And it came to pass, when all the
kings which were on this side Jordan,
in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over
against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and
the Jebusite, heard thereof;
06-11:3 And
to the Canaanite on the east and on the west, and to the Amorite, and
the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the mountains, and to the Hivite under Hermon in the land
of Mizpeh.
13-1:14 The Jebusite
also, and the Amorite, and
the Girgashite,
26-16:3 And say,
Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.
26-16:45 Thou art thy mother’s daughter, that loatheth
her husband and her children; and thou art
the sister of thy sisters, which loathed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.
30-2:9 Yet
destroyed I the Amorite
before them, whose height was like
the height of the cedars, and he was strong
as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
30-2:10 Also I
brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the
wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

01-14:7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat,
which is Kadesh, and smote all the
country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.
01-15:16 But in the fourth generation they
shall come hither again: for the
iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
01-15:21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and
the Jebusites.
02-3:8 And I am
come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them
up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk
and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and
the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
02-3:17 And I
have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of
the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the
Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
02-13:5 And it
shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and
the Hittites, and the Amorites,
and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give
thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in
this month.
02-23:23 For mine
Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the
Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
and I will cut them off.
04-13:29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of
the south: and the Hittites, and the
Jebusites, and the Amorites,
dwell in the mountains: and the
Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
04-21:13 From thence they removed, and pitched
on the other side of Arnon, which is in
the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites:
for Arnon is the border of Moab,
between Moab and the Amorites.
04-21:21 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon
king of the Amorites,
saying,
04-21:25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of
the Amorites, in
Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
04-21:26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of
Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
04-21:29 Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O
people of Chemosh: he hath given his
sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
04-21:31 Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
04-21:32 And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and
they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were
there.
04-21:34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear
him not: for I have delivered him
into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou
didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
04-22:2 And Balak the son of Zippor saw all
that Israel had done to the Amorites.
04-32:33 And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the
children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the
kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the
land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.
05-1:4 After he had slain Sihon the king
of the Amorites,
which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in
Edrei:
05-1:7 Turn you, and take your journey,
and go to the mount of the Amorites,
and unto all the places nigh
thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and
by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the
great river, the river Euphrates.
05-1:19 And when we departed from Horeb, we
went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which ye saw by the way of
the mountain of the Amorites, as
the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadeshbarnea.
05-1:20 And I said unto you, Ye are come
unto the mountain of the Amorites,
which the LORD our God doth give unto us.
05-1:27 And ye murmured in your tents, and
said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of
Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
05-1:44 And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out
against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
05-3:2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him
not: for I will deliver him, and all
his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou
didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
05-3:8 And we took at that time out of the
hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;
05-3:9 (Which
Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)
05-4:46 On this side Jordan, in the valley
over against Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the
children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt:
05-4:47 And they possessed his land, and the
land of Og king of Bashan, two kings of the Amorites, which were
on this side Jordan toward the sun rising;
05-7:1 When the LORD thy God shall bring
thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many
nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and
the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and
mightier than thou;
05-20:17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the
Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded
thee:
05-31:4 And the LORD shall do unto them as
he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.
06-2:10 For we have heard how the LORD dried
up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did
unto the two kings of the Amorites,
that were on the other side Jordan,
Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
06-3:10 And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall
know that the living God is among
you, and that he will without fail
drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites,
and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.
06-5:1 And it came to pass, when all the
kings of the Amorites,
which were on the side of Jordan
westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of
Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that
their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the
children of Israel.
06-7:7 And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD,
wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into
the hand of the Amorites, to
destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side
Jordan!
06-9:10 And all that he did to the two kings
of the Amorites,
that were beyond Jordan, to Sihon
king of Heshbon, and to Og king of Bashan, which was at Ashtaroth.
06-10:5 Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the
king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon,
gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and
encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.
06-10:6 And the men of Gibeon sent unto
Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants;
come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered
together against us.
06-10:12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the
day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in
the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the
valley of Ajalon.
06-12:2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and
from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok,
which is the border of the children
of Ammon;
06-12:8 In the mountains, and in the
valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in
the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the
Hivites, and the Jebusites:
06-13:4 From the south, all the land of the
Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside
the Sidonians unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:
06-13:10 And all the cities of Sihon king of
the Amorites,
which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
06-13:21 And all the cities of the plain, and
all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote
with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in
the country.
06-24:8 And I brought you into the land of
the Amorites,
which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that
ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.
06-24:11 And ye went over Jordan, and came
unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho
fought against you, the Amorites,
and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites,
the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.
06-24:12 And I sent the hornet before you,
which drave them out from before you, even
the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy
bow.
06-24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve
the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your
fathers served that were on the other
side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
06-24:18 And the LORD drave out from before us
all the people, even the Amorites
which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD;
for he is our God.
07-1:34 And the Amorites forced the children of Dan
into the mountain: for they would
not suffer them to come down to the valley:
07-1:35 But the Amorites would dwell in mount Heres
in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim: yet the
hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they became tributaries.
07-1:36 And the
coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from
the rock, and upward.
07-3:5 And the children
of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:
07-6:10 And I
said unto you, I am the LORD your
God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.
07-10:8 And that
year they vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were on the other side Jordan in the
land of the Amorites,
which is in Gilead.
07-10:11 And the
LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did
not I deliver you from the
Egyptians, and from the Amorites,
from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
07-11:19 And Israel
sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto
him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place.
07-11:21 And the
LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel,
and they smote them: so Israel
possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.
07-11:22 And they
possessed all the coasts of the Amorites, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and from the
wilderness even unto Jordan.
07-11:23 So now the
LORD God of Israel hath dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest
thou possess it?
09-7:14 And the
cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel,
from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the
hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel and the Amorites.
10-21:2 And the
king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but
of the remnant of the Amorites;
and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of
Israel and Judah.)
11-4:19 Geber the
son of Uri was in the country of
Gilead, in the country of Sihon king
of the Amorites,
and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the
only officer which was in the land.
11-9:20 And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites,
which were not of the children of
Israel,
11-21:26 And he did
very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of
Israel.
12-21:11 Because
Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were
before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
14-8:7 As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and
the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were
not of Israel,
15-9:1 Now when
these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel,
and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people
of the lands, doing according to
their abominations, even of the
Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the
Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
16-9:8 And foundest
his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land
of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and
the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to
his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:
19-135:11 Sihon king
of the Amorites, and
Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
19-136:19 Sihon king
of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:

LORD said unto me, Amos, what
seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a
plumbline in the midst of my people Israel:
I will not again pass by them any more:
30-7:10 Then
Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in
the midst of the house of Israel:
the land is not able to bear all his words.
30-7:11 For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by
the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
30-7:12 Also
Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou

prophesy there:
30-7:14 Then
answered Amos, and
said to Amaziah, I was no prophet,
neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of
sycomore fruit:
30-8:2 And he
said, Amos, what

more.
