01-GENESIS
01-4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and
called his name Seth: For God, said
she, hath appointed me another seed instead of
Abel, whom Cain slew.
01-18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the
time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
01-24:14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I
shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall
say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed
for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness
unto my master.
01-24:44 And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also
draw for thy camels: let the same be
the woman whom the LORD hath appointed out for
my master’s son.
02-9:5 And the LORD appointed
a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.
02-23:15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread
seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed
of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
04-9:2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at
his appointed season.
04-9:3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall
keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and
according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall ye keep it.
04-9:7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the
dead body of a man: wherefore are we
kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
04-9:13 But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey,
and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from
among his people: because he brought
not the offering of the LORD in his appointed
season, that man shall bear his sin.
06-8:14 And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that
they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel
to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed,
before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him
behind the city.
06-20:7 And they appointed
Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount Ephraim, and
Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah.
06-20:9 These were the cities appointed
for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among
them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not
die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the
congregation.
07-18:11 And there went from thence of the family of the
Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.
07-18:16 And the six hundred men appointed
with their weapons of war, which were of the children of Dan, stood by the
entering of the gate.
07-18:17 And the five men that went to spy out the land went
up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the
teraphim, and the molten image: and
the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were
appointed with weapons of war.
07-20:38 Now there was an appointed
sign between the men of Israel and the liers in wait, that they should make a
great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.
09-13:8 And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that
Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from
him.
09-13:11 And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said,
Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not
within the days appointed, and that the
Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;
09-19:20 And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the
prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed
over them, the spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also
prophesied.

out into the field at the time appointed with
David, and a little lad with him.
09-21:2 And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king
hath commanded me a business, and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing
of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed
my servants to such and such a place.
09-25:30 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD shall have
done to my lord according to all the good that he hath spoken concerning thee,
and shall have appointed thee ruler over Israel;
09-29:4 And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him;
and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that
he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed
him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an
adversary to us: for wherewith
should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of
these men?
10-17:14 And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The
counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the
LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of
Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.
10-20:5 So Amasa went to assemble the men of Judah: but he tarried longer than the set
time which he had appointed him.
10-24:15 So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the
morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan
even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
11-1:35 Then ye shall come up after him, that he may come and
sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have appointed him to be
ruler over Israel and over Judah.
11-11:18 And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of
Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an
house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him
land.
11-12:12 So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the
third day, as the king had appointed, saying,
Come to me again the third day.
11-20:42 And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because
thou hast let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed
to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people
for his people.
12-7:17 And the king appointed
the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the
gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came
down to him.
12-8:6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So
the king appointed unto her a certain officer,
saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the
day that she left the land, even until now.
12-10:24 And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt
offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without,
and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that
letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.
12-11:18 And all the people of the land went into the house of
Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly,
and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD.
12-18:14 And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria
to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of
Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah
three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
13-6:48 Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle
of the house of God.
13-6:49 But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the
burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed
for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel,
according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
13-9:29 Some of them also were appointed
to oversee the vessels and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine
flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
13-15:17 So the Levites appointed
Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of
the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
13-15:19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;
13-16:4 And he appointed
certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record,
and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
14-8:14 And he appointed,
according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their
service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the
priests, as the duty of every day required:
the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
14-20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise
the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise
the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
14-23:18 Also Jehoiada appointed
the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites,
whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt
offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and
with singing, as it was ordained by David.
14-31:2 And Hezekiah appointed
the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man
according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for
peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of
the tents of the LORD.
14-31:3 He appointed also the
king’s portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to wit, for the morning
and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for
the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD.
14-33:8 Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from
out of the land which I have appointed for your
fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them,
according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of
Moses.
14-34:22 And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of
Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she
dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:)
and they spake to her to that effect.
15-3:8 Now in the second year of their coming unto the house
of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of
Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the
priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto
Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from
twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.
15-8:20 Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred
and twenty Nethinims: all of them
were expressed by name.
15-10:14 Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and
let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every
city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter
be turned from us.
16-5:14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah,
from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the
king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the
governor.
16-6:7 And thou hast also appointed
prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the
king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel
together.
16-7:1 Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I
had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
16-9:17 And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy
wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their
rebellion appointed a captain to return to their
bondage: but thou art a God ready to
pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and
forsookest them not.
16-10:34 And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites,
and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God,
after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed
year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in
the law:
16-12:31 Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall,
and appointed two great companies of them that
gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung
gate:
16-12:44 And at that time were some appointed
over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits,
and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the
portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that
waited.
16-13:30 Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites,
every one in his business;
16-13:31 And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my
God, for good.
17-1:8 And the drinking was according to the law; none did
compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they
should do according to every man’s pleasure.
17-2:15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail
the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in
unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the
keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther
obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
17-4:5 Then called Esther for Hatach, one of the king’s
chamberlains, whom he had appointed to attend
upon her, and gave him a commandment to Mordecai, to know what it was, and why
it was.
17-9:27 The Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their
seed, and upon all such as joined themselves unto them, so as it should not
fail, that they would keep these two days according to their writing, and
according to their appointed time every year;
17-9:31 To confirm these days of Purim in their times appointed, according as Mordecai the Jew and Esther
the queen had enjoined them, and as they had decreed for themselves and for
their seed, the matters of the fastings and their cry.
18-7:1 Is there not an appointed
time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?
18-7:3 So am I made to possess months of vanity, and
wearisome nights are appointed to me.
18-14:5 Seeing his days are determined, the number of his
months are with thee, thou hast appointed his
bounds that he cannot pass;
18-14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
18-20:29 This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the
heritage appointed unto him by God.
18-23:14 For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me:
and many such things are with him.
18-30:23 For I know that thou wilt bring me to death, and to
the house appointed for all living.
19-44:11 Thou hast given us like sheep appointed
for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
19-78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our
fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
19-79:11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according
to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;
19-81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
19-102:20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those
that are appointed to death;
19-104:19 He appointed the moon
for seasons: the sun knoweth his
going down.
20-7:20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come
home at the day appointed.
20-8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters
should not pass his commandment:
when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
20-31:8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such
as are appointed to destruction.
23-1:14 Your new moons and your appointed
feasts my soul hateth: they are a
trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
23-14:31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art
dissolved: for there shall come from
the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed
times.
23-28:25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not
cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal
wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in
their place?
23-44:7 And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and
set it in order for me, since I appointed the
ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew
unto them.
24-5:24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the
LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.
24-8:7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the
swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment
of the LORD.
24-33:25 Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day
and night, and if I have not appointed the
ordinances of heaven and earth;

noise; he hath passed the time appointed.

charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
26-4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy
right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed
thee each day for a year.
26-36:5 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire
of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against
all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their
possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it
out for a prey.

them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that
at the end thereof they might stand before the king.
27-1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear
my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat
and your drink: for why should he
see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then
shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
27-8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall
be in the last end of the indignation:
for at the time appointed the end shall be.
27-10:1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was
revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was
true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding

he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former,

a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom

world, and to angels, and to men.
