01-GENESIS
01-6:14 Make thee an ark of
gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark,
and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
01-6:15 And this is the
fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three
hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty
cubits.
01-6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and
the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side
thereof; with lower, second, and
third stories shalt thou make it.
01-6:18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou
shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and
thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
01-6:19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them
alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
01-7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy
house into the ark; for thee have I seen
righteous before me in this generation.
01-7:7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his
sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of
the waters of the flood.
01-7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded
Noah.
01-7:13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham,
and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons
with them, into the ark;
01-7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
01-7:17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters
increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift
up above the earth.
01-7:18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly
upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face
of the waters.
01-7:23 And every living substance was destroyed which was
upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and
the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
01-8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and
all the cattle that was with him in
the ark:
and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
01-8:4 And the ark rested in
the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of
Ararat.
01-8:6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that
Noah opened the window of the ark which he had
made:
01-8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot,
and she returned unto him into the ark, for the
waters were on the face of the whole
earth: then he put forth his hand,
and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.
01-8:10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent
forth the dove out of the ark;
01-8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first
year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried
up from off the earth: and Noah
removed the covering of the ark, and looked,
and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
01-8:16 Go forth of the ark,
thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
01-8:19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth,
after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
01-9:10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle,
and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
01-9:18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
02-2:3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for
him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with
slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river’s brink.
02-2:5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens
walked along by the river’s side; and when she saw the ark
among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.
02-25:10 And they shall make an ark
of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall
be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a
cubit and a half the height thereof.
02-25:14 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the
sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
02-25:15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they
shall not be taken from it.
02-25:16 And thou shalt put into the ark
the testimony which I shall give thee.
02-25:21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark
thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
02-25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune
with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark
of the testimony, of all things which
I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
02-26:33 And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that
thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark
of the testimony: and the vail shall
divide unto you between the holy place and
the most holy.
02-26:34 And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
02-30:6 And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark
of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.
02-30:26 And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the
congregation therewith, and the ark of the
testimony,
02-31:7 The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of
the tabernacle,
02-35:12 The ark, and the staves
thereof, with the mercy seat, and the
vail of the covering,
02-37:1 And Bezaleel made the ark
of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the
length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half
the height of it:
02-37:5 And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of
the ark, to bear the ark.
02-39:35 The ark of the
testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
02-40:3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark
with the vail.
02-40:5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense
before the ark of the testimony, and put the
hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
02-40:20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
02-40:21 And he brought the ark
into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-16:2 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother,
that he come not at all times into the holy place
within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon
the mercy seat.
04-3:31 And their charge shall
be the ark, and the table, and the
candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they
minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
04-4:5 And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come,
and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
04-7:89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the
congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto
him from off the mercy seat that was upon
the ark of testimony, from between the two
cherubims: and he spake unto him.
04-10:33 And they departed from the mount of the LORD three
days’ journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in
the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
04-10:35 And it came to pass, when the ark
set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be
scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.
04-14:44 But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed
not out of the camp.
05-10:1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two
tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and
make thee an ark of wood.
05-10:2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in
the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
05-10:3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of
stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in
mine hand.
05-10:5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and
put the tables in the ark which I had made; and
there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
05-10:8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to
bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to
stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this
day.
05-31:9 And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the
priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of
the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
05-31:25 That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,
05-31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of
the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God,
that it may be there for a witness against thee.
06-3:3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the
ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and
the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and
go after it.
06-3:6 And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the
ark of the covenant, and pass over before the
people. And they took up the ark of the
covenant, and went before the people.
06-3:8 And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the
brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
06-3:11 Behold, the ark of the
covenant of the LORD of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan.
06-3:13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the
feet of the priests that bear the ark of the
LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut
off from the waters that come down
from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
06-3:14 And it came to pass, when the people removed from
their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
06-3:15 And as they that bare the ark
were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth
all his banks all the time of harvest,)
06-3:17 And the priests that bare the ark
of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan,
and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were
passed clean over Jordan.
06-4:5 And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and
take you up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the
number of the tribes of the children of Israel:
06-4:7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan
were cut off before the ark of the covenant of
the LORD; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a
memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.
06-4:9 And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of
Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
06-4:10 For the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished
that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that
Moses commanded Joshua: and the
people hasted and passed over.
06-4:11 And it came to pass, when all the people were clean
passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed
over, and the priests, in the presence of the people.
06-4:16 Command the priests that bear the ark of the testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.
06-4:18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of
the midst of Jordan, and the soles of
the priests’ feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan
returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.
06-6:4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and
the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
06-6:6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said
unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and
let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.
06-6:7 And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the
city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark
of the LORD.
06-6:8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the
people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed
on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the
LORD followed them.
06-6:9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew
with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark,
the priests going on, and blowing
with the trumpets.
06-6:11 So the ark of the LORD
compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and
lodged in the camp.
06-6:12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests
took up the ark of the LORD.
06-6:13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’
horns before the ark of the LORD went on
continually, and blew with the trumpets:
and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the
priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
06-7:6 And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth
upon his face before the ark of the LORD until
the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
06-8:33 And all Israel, and their elders, and officers, and
their judges, stood on this side the ark and on
that side before the priests the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, as well the stranger,
as he that was born among them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and
half of them over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had
commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
07-20:27 And the children of Israel enquired of the LORD, (for
the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,
09-3:3 And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the
LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to
sleep;
09-4:3 And when the people were come into the camp, the
elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines?
Let us fetch the ark of the covenant of the LORD
out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the
hand of our enemies.
09-4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring
from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD
of hosts, which dwelleth between the
cherubims: and the two sons of Eli,
Hophni and Phinehas, were there with
the ark of the covenant of God.
09-4:5 And when the ark of the
covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout,
so that the earth rang again.
09-4:6 And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout,
they said, What meaneth the noise of
this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of the LORD was come into the camp.
09-4:11 And the ark of God was
taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.
09-4:13 And when he came, lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the
wayside watching: for his heart
trembled for the ark of God. And when the man
came into the city, and told it, all
the city cried out.
09-4:17 And the messenger answered and said, Israel is fled
before the Philistines, and there hath been also a great slaughter among the
people, and thy two sons also, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken.
09-4:18 And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by
the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty
years.
09-4:19 And his daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife, was with
child, near to be delivered: and when she heard the tidings that
the ark of God was taken, and that her father in
law and her husband were dead, she bowed herself and travailed; for her pains
came upon her.
09-4:21 And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is
departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law
and her husband.
09-4:22 And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark
of God is taken.
09-5:1 And the Philistines took the ark
of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod.
09-5:2 When the Philistines took the ark
of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.
09-5:3 And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow,
behold, Dagon was fallen upon his
face to the earth before the ark of the LORD.
And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
09-5:4 And when they arose early on the morrow morning,
behold, Dagon was fallen upon his
face to the ground before the ark of the LORD;
and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
09-5:7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and
upon Dagon our god.
09-5:8 They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the
Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath.
And they carried the ark of the God of Israel
about thither.
09-5:10 Therefore they sent the ark
of God to Ekron. And it came to pass, as the ark
of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought
about the ark of the God of Israel to us, to
slay us and our people.
09-5:11 So they sent and gathered together all the lords of
the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of
the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place, that it slay us not,
and our people: for there was a
deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy
there.
09-6:1 And the ark of the LORD
was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
09-6:2 And the Philistines called for the priests and the
diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of
the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
09-6:3 And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but in
any wise return him a trespass offering:
then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not
removed from you.
09-6:8 And take the ark of the
LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him
for a trespass offering, in a coffer
by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.
09-6:11 And they laid the ark
of the LORD upon the cart, and the coffer with the mice of gold and the images
of their emerods.
09-6:13 And they of Bethshemesh
were reaping their wheat harvest in
the valley: and they lifted up their
eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.
09-6:15 And the Levites took down the ark
of the LORD, and the coffer that was with
it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and
put them on the great stone: and the men of Bethshemesh offered
burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto the LORD.
09-6:18 And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fenced cities, and of country
villages, even unto the great stone of Abel,
whereon they set down the ark of the LORD: which
stone remaineth unto this day in the field of Joshua, the Bethshemite.
09-6:19 And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had
looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote
of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great
slaughter.
09-6:21 And they sent messengers to the inhabitants of
Kirjathjearim, saying, The Philistines have brought again the ark of the LORD; come ye down, and fetch it up to you.
09-7:1 And the men of Kirjathjearim came, and fetched up the ark of the LORD, and brought it into the house of
Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD.
09-7:2 And it came to pass, while the ark abode in Kirjathjearim, that the time was long; for it was
twenty years: and all the house of
Israel lamented after the LORD.
09-14:18 And Saul said unto Ahiah, Bring hither the ark of God. For the ark
of God was at that time with the children of Israel.
10-6:2 And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to
bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name
is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.
10-6:3 And they set the ark of
God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.
10-6:4 And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which
was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God:
and Ahio went before the ark.
10-6:6 And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah
put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
10-6:7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah;
and God smote him there for his error;
and there he died by the ark of God.
10-6:9 And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said,
How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?
10-6:10 So David would not remove the ark
of the LORD unto him into the city of David:
but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
10-6:11 And the ark of the LORD
continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.
10-6:12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath
blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth
unto him, because of the ark of God. So
David went and brought up the ark of God from the
house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
10-6:13 And it was so, that
when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone
six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
10-6:15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of
the trumpet.
10-6:16 And as the ark of the
LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a
window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she
despised him in her heart.
10-6:17 And they brought in the ark
of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David
had pitched for it: and David
offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
10-7:2 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I
dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God
dwelleth within curtains.
10-11:11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and
the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into
mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy
soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
10-15:24 And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God;
and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city.
10-15:25 And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me
again, and shew me both it, and his
habitation:
10-15:29 Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there.
11-2:26 And unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee
to Anathoth, unto thine own fields; for thou art worthy of death: but
I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and
because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
11-3:15 And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt
offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.
11-6:19 And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set
there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
11-8:1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all
the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel,
unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of
David, which is Zion.
11-8:3 And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests
took up the ark.
11-8:4 And they brought up the ark
of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels
that were in the tabernacle, even those
did the priests and the Levites bring up.
11-8:5 And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel,
that were assembled unto him, were with
him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen,
that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
11-8:6 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of
the house, to the most holy place, even under
the wings of the cherubims.
11-8:7 For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark,
and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves
thereof above.
11-8:9 There was nothing in the ark save
the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel,
when they came out of the land of Egypt.
11-8:21 And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the
covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out
of the land of Egypt.
13-6:31 And these are
they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD,
after that the ark had rest.
13-13:3 And let us bring again the ark
of our God to us: for we enquired
not at it in the days of Saul.
13-13:5 So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of
Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark
of God from Kirjathjearim.
13-13:6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence
the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is
called on it.
13-13:7 And they carried the ark
of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart.
13-13:9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon,
Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the
oxen stumbled.
13-13:10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza,
and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.
13-13:12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How
shall I bring the ark of God home to me?
13-13:13 So David brought not the ark
home to himself to the city of David,
but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
13-13:14 And the ark of God
remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD
blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.
13-15:1 And David made
him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
13-15:2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.
13-15:3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem,
to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place,
which he had prepared for it.
13-15:12 And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye
and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark
of the LORD God of Israel unto the place
that I have prepared for it.
13-15:14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves
to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.
13-15:15 And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves
thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.
13-15:23 And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
13-15:24 And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and
Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the
trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
13-15:25 So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains
over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the
covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.
13-15:26 And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that
bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that
they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.
13-15:27 And David was clothed
with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the
song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.
13-15:28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of
the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries
and harps.
13-15:29 And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the
LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looking out at
a window saw king David dancing and playing:
and she despised him in her heart.
13-16:1 So they brought the ark
of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and
peace offerings before God.
13-16:4 And he appointed certain
of the Levites to minister before the ark of
the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
13-16:6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets
continually before the ark of the covenant of
God.
13-16:37 So he left there before the ark
of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required:
13-17:1 Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that
David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the LORD remaineth under curtains.
13-22:19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your
God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels
of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.
13-28:2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said,
Hear me, my brethren, and my people:
As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool
of our God, and had made ready for the building:
13-28:18 And for the altar of incense refined gold by weight;
and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
14-1:4 But the ark of God had
David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the
place which David had prepared for it:
for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
14-5:2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all
the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel,
unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the
covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
14-5:4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites
took up the ark.
14-5:5 And they brought up the ark,
and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the
priests and the Levites bring up.
14-5:6 Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel
that were assembled unto him before the ark,
sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
14-5:7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of
the house, into the most holy place, even
under the wings of the cherubims:
14-5:8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark,
and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves
thereof above.
14-5:9 And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the
staves were seen from the ark before the oracle;
but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
14-5:10 There was nothing in the ark save
the two tables which Moses put therein at
Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with
the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
14-6:11 And in it have I put the ark,
wherein is the covenant of the LORD,
that he made with the children of Israel.
14-6:41 Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting
place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be
clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
14-8:11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of
the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king
of Israel, because the places are holy,
whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.
14-35:3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel,
which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark
in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his
people Israel,
19-132:8 Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.
24-3:16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and
increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more,
The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it;
neither shall they visit it; neither
shall that be done any more.
40-24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they
were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that
Noe entered into the ark,
42-17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were
given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
58-9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold,
wherein was the golden pot that had
manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
58-11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen
as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the
saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of
the righteousness which is by faith.
60-3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the
longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls
were saved by water.
66-REVELATION
66-11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there
was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and
voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

02-EXODUS
02-6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out
from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their
bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm,
and with great judgments:
02-15:16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness
of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the
people pass over, which thou hast
purchased.
04-31:3 And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go
against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.
05-4:34 Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by
war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm,
and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in
Egypt before your eyes?
05-5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of
Egypt, and that the LORD thy God
brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm:
therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
05-7:19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the
signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all
the people of whom thou art afraid.
05-9:29 Yet they are thy
people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy mighty power and
by thy stretched out arm.
05-11:2 And know ye this day: for I speak not with
your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of
the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,
05-26:8 And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a
mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and
with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
05-33:20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad; he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.
09-2:31 Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy
father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.
10-1:10 So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure
that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was
upon his head, and the bracelet that was
on his arm, and have brought them hither
unto my lord.
11-8:42 (For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong
hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he
shall come and pray toward this house;
12-17:36 But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of
Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm,
him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.
14-6:32 Moreover concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people
Israel, but is come from a far country for thy great name’s sake, and thy
mighty hand, and thy stretched out arm; if they
come and pray in this house;
14-32:8 With him is an
arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the
people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
18-26:2 How hast thou helped him that is without power? how
savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
18-31:22 Then let mine arm fall from
my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from
the bone.
18-35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm
of the mighty.
18-38:15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the
high arm shall be broken.
18-40:9 Hast thou an arm like
God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
19-10:15 Break thou the arm of
the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
19-44:3 For they got not the land in possession by their own
sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou
hadst a favour unto them.
19-77:15 Thou hast with thine
arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob
and Joseph. Selah.
19-89:10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is
slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
19-89:13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
19-89:21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm
also shall strengthen him.
19-98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done
marvellous things: his right hand,
and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
19-136:12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for
his mercy endureth for ever.
22-8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon
thine arm:
for love is strong as death; jealousy
is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
23-9:20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry;
and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of
his own arm:
23-17:5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the
corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it
shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.
23-30:30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be
heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm,
with the indignation of his anger,
and with the flame of a devouring
fire, with scattering, and tempest,
and hailstones.
23-33:2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
23-40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm
shall rule for him: behold, his
reward is with him, and his work
before him.
23-40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them
in his bosom, and shall gently
lead those that are with young.
23-48:14 All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among
them hath declared these things? The
LORD hath loved him: he will do his
pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
23-51:5 My righteousness is
near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the
isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall
they trust.
23-51:9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the
generations of old. Art thou not it
that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the
dragon?
23-52:10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends
of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
23-53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
23-59:16 And he saw that there
was no man, and wondered that there
was no intercessor: therefore
his arm brought salvation unto him; and his
righteousness, it sustained him.
23-62:8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy
corn to be meat for thine enemies; and
the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast
laboured:
23-63:5 And I looked, and there
was none to help; and I wondered that there
was none to uphold: therefore
mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my
fury, it upheld me.
23-63:12 That led them by
the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm,
dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in
anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.

and by my outstretched arm, and have given it
unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a
stretched out arm, and with great terror;

Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
26-20:33 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand,
and with a stretched out arm, and with fury
poured out, will I rule over you:
26-20:34 And I will bring you out from the people, and will
gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand,
and with a stretched out arm, and with fury
poured out.

of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to
put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.

under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
27-11:6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves
together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the
north to make an agreement: but she
shall not retain the power of the arm; neither
shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that
begat her, and he that strengthened her in these
times.

sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up,
and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and
with an high arm brought he them out of it.
60-1 PETER
60-4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the
flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same
mind: for he that hath suffered in
the flesh hath ceased from sin;
