01-GENESIS
01-14:14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken
captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three
hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto
Dan.
04-31:5 So there were delivered out of the thousands of
Israel, a thousand of every tribe,
twelve thousand armed for war.
04-32:17 But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them
unto their place: and our little
ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
04-32:20 And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if
ye will go armed before the LORD to war,
04-32:21 And will go all of you armed
over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before
him,
04-32:27 But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord
saith.
04-32:29 And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and
the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall
be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a
possession:
04-32:30 But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the
land of Canaan.
04-32:32 We will pass over armed
before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance
on this side Jordan may be ours.
05-3:18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD
your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before
your brethren the children of Israel, all that
are meet for the war.
06-1:14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall
remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass
before your brethren armed, all the mighty men
of valour, and help them;
06-4:12 And the children of Reuben, and the children of Gad,
and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed
before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them:
06-6:7 And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the
city, and let him that is armed pass on before
the ark of the LORD.
06-6:9 And the armed men went
before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the
ark, the priests going on, and
blowing with the trumpets.
06-6:13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’
horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the
trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came
after the ark of the LORD, the priests going
on, and blowing with the trumpets.
07-7:11 And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall
thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with
Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed
men that were in the host.
09-17:5 And he had an
helmet of brass upon his head, and he was
armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of
the coat was five thousand shekels of
brass.
09-17:38 And Saul armed David
with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.
13-12:2 They were armed
with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even
of Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
13-12:23 And these are the
numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and
came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to
the word of the LORD.
13-12:24 The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred,
ready armed to the war.
14-17:17 And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of valour, and
with him armed men with bow and shield two
hundred thousand.
14-28:14 So the armed men left
the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation.
18-39:21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.
19-78:9 The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
20-6:11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy
want as an armed man.
20-24:34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed
man.
23-15:4 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even
unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall
be grievous unto him.
42-11:21 When a strong man armed
keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the
sword: and they escaped into the
land of Armenia. And
Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
23-37:38 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the
house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with
the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and
Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

24-JEREMIAH
24-38:12 And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put
now these old cast clouts and rotten
rags under thine armholes under the cords. And
Jeremiah did so.
26-EZEKIEL
26-13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every
stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save
the souls alive that come unto you?

02-EXODUS
02-6:26 These are that
Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from
the land of Egypt according to their armies.
02-7:4 But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay
my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies,
and my people the children of Israel,
out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
02-12:17 And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I
brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day
in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
02-12:51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of
Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
04-1:3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to
go forth to war in Israel: thou and
Aaron shall number them by their armies.
04-2:3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun
shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and
Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain
of the children of Judah.
04-2:9 All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore
thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.
04-2:10 On the south side shall
be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and
the captain of the children of Reuben shall
be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
04-2:16 All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and
one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.
04-2:18 On the west side shall
be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and
the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall
be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
04-2:24 All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight
thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies.
And they shall go forward in the third rank.
04-2:25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of
Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of
Ammishaddai.
04-10:14 In the first place
went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and
over his host was Nahshon the son of
Amminadab.
04-10:18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according
to their armies: and over his host was Elizur
the son of Shedeur.
04-10:22 And the standard of the camp of the children of
Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
04-10:28 Thus were the
journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
04-33:1 These are the
journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt
with their armies under the hand of Moses and
Aaron.
05-20:9 And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of
speaking unto the people, that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
09-17:1 Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh,
which belongeth to Judah, and pitched
between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.
09-17:8 And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come
out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants
to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
09-17:10 And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may
fight together.
09-17:23 And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the
champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the
same words: and David heard them.
09-17:26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying,
What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the
reproach from Israel? for who is this
uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies
of the living God?
09-17:36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine
shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies
of the living God.
09-17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me
with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of
the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
09-23:3 And David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid
here in Judah: how much more then if
we come to Keilah against the armies of the
Philistines?
09-28:1 And it came to pass in those days, that the
Philistines gathered their armies together for
warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly,
that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.
09-29:1 Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek:
and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
12-25:23 And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of
Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the
son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they
and their men.
12-25:26 And all the people, both small and great, and the
captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the Chaldees.
13-11:26 Also the valiant men of the armies
were, Asahel the brother of Joab,
Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
14-16:4 And Benhadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the
captains of his armies against the cities of
Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelmaim, and all the store cities of
Naphtali.
18-25:3 Is there any number of his armies?
and upon whom doth not his light arise?
19-44:9 But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest
not forth with our armies.
19-60:10 Wilt not thou, O God, which
hadst cast us off? and thou, O
God, which didst not go out with our armies?
19-68:12 Kings of armies did
flee apace: and she that tarried at home
divided the spoil.
22-6:13 Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we
may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company
of two armies.
23-34:2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury
upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the
slaughter.
40-22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth:
and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed
those murderers, and burned up their city.
42-21:20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
58-11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the
sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to
flight the armies of the aliens.
66-19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon
white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
66-19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and
their armies, gathered together to make war
against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

10-21:8 But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter
of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal
the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the
Meholathite:

09-1 SAMUEL
09-14:1 Now it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan the son
of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour,
Come, and let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side. But he told not
his father.
09-14:6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of
these uncircumcised: it may be that
the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to
save by many or by few.
09-17:38 And Saul armed David with his armour,
and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of
mail.
09-17:39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot
go with these; for I have not proved them.
And David put them off him.
09-17:54 And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought
it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his
tent.
09-31:9 And they cut off his head, and stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines
round about, to publish it in the
house of their idols, and among the people.
09-31:10 And they put his armour
in the house of Ashtaroth: and they
fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.
10-2:21 And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right
hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee
his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from
following of him.
10-18:15 And ten young men that bare Joab’s armour compassed about and smote Absalom, and slew
him.
11-10:25 And they brought every man his present, vessels of
silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour,
and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
11-22:38 And one washed
the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they
washed his armour; according unto the word of
the LORD which he spake.
12-3:21 And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were
come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood in the border.
12-10:2 Now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your
master’s sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses,
a fenced city also, and armour;
12-20:13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all
the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and
the precious ointment, and all the
house of his armour, and all that was found in
his treasures: there was nothing in
his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
13-10:9 And when they had stripped him, they took his head,
and his armour, and sent into the land of the
Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
13-10:10 And they put his armour
in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.
23-22:8 And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou
didst look in that day to the armour of the
house of the forest.
23-39:2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the
house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the
precious ointment, and all the house of his armour,
and all that was found in his treasures:
there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed
them not.
26-38:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,
and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of
them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
42-11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and
overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour
wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
45-13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works
of darkness, and let us put on the armour of
light.
47-6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
49-6:11 Put on the whole armour
of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
49-6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the
evil day, and having done all, to stand.

07-JUDGES
07-9:54 Then he called hastily unto the young man his armourbearer, and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and
slay me, that men say not of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust him
through, and he died.
09-14:7 And his armourbearer
said unto him, Do all that is in
thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
09-14:12 And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will
shew you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer,
Come up after me: for the LORD hath
delivered them into the hand of Israel.
09-14:13 And Jonathan climbed up upon his hands and upon his
feet, and his armourbearer after him: and they fell before Jonathan; and
his armourbearer slew after him.
09-14:14 And that first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armourbearer made, was about twenty men, within as it
were an half acre of land, which a
yoke of oxen might plow.
09-14:17 Then said Saul unto the people that were with him, Number now, and see who
is gone from us. And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were
not there.
09-16:21 And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he
became his armourbearer.
09-31:4 Then said Saul unto his armourbearer,
Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come
and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer
would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon
it.
09-31:5 And when his armourbearer
saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.
09-31:6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.
10-23:37 Zelek the Ammonite, Nahari the Beerothite, armourbearer to Joab the son of Zeruiah,
13-10:4 Then said Saul to his armourbearer,
Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come
and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not;
for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
13-10:5 And when his armourbearer
saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.
13-11:39 Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armourbearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,

22-4:4 Thy neck is like
the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon
there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.

01-GENESIS
01-49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the
mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
05-33:27 The eternal God is
thy refuge, and underneath are the
everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall
say, Destroy them.
07-15:14 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted
against him: and the spirit of the
LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax
that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.
07-16:12 Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith,
and said unto him, The Philistines be upon
thee, Samson. And there were liers in
wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.
10-22:35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is
broken by mine arms.
12-9:24 And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength, and smote
Jehoram between his arms, and the arrow went out
at his heart, and he sunk down in his chariot.
18-22:9 Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
19-PSALMS
19-18:34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is
broken by mine arms.
19-37:17 For the arms of the
wicked shall be broken: but the LORD
upholdeth the righteous.
20-31:17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth
her arms.
23-44:12 The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals,
and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea,
he is hungry, and his strength faileth:
he drinketh no water, and is faint.
23-49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine
hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall
be carried upon their shoulders.
23-51:5 My righteousness is
near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms
shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall
they trust.
26-13:20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye
there hunt the souls to make them fly,
and I will tear them from your arms, and will
let the souls go, even the souls that
ye hunt to make them fly.
26-30:22 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and
will break his arms, the strong, and that which
was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
26-30:24 And I will strengthen the arms
of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms,
and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
26-30:25 But I will strengthen the arms
of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh
shall fall down; and they shall know that I am
the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon,
and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
27-2:32 This image’s head was
of fine gold, his breast and his arms of
silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
27-10:6 His body also was
like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes
as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like
in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a
multitude.
27-11:15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a
mount, and take the most fenced cities:
and the arms of the south shall not withstand,
neither his chosen people, neither shall
there be any strength to withstand.
27-11:22 And with the arms of a
flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also
the prince of the covenant.
27-11:31 And arms shall stand on
his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away
the daily sacrifice, and they shall place
the abomination that maketh desolate.
28-7:15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do
they imagine mischief against me.
28-11:3 I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
41-9:36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,
41-10:16 And he took them up in his arms,
put his hands upon them, and blessed
them.
42-2:28 Then took he him up in his arms,
and blessed God, and said,

01-GENESIS
01-26:26 Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath
one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.
02-14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his
horsemen, and his army, and overtook them
encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
05-11:4 And what he did unto the army
of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of
the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto
this day;
07-4:7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera,
the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots
and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
07-8:6 And the princes of Succoth said, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we
should give bread unto thine army?
07-9:29 And would to God this people were under my hand! then
would I remove Abimelech. And he said to Abimelech, Increase thine army, and come out.
09-4:2 And the Philistines put themselves in array against
Israel: and when they joined battle,
Israel was smitten before the Philistines:
and they slew of the army in the field about
four thousand men.
09-4:12 And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes
rent, and with earth upon his head.
09-4:16 And the man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and
I fled to day out of the army. And he said, What
is there done, my son?
09-17:21 For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in
array, army against army.
09-17:22 And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper
of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came
and saluted his brethren.
09-17:48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and
came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
11-20:19 So these young men of the princes of the provinces
came out of the city, and the army which
followed them.
11-20:25 And number thee an army,
