09-5:1 And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought

09-5:3 And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth

01-GENESIS
01-18:27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have
taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am
but dust and ashes:
02-9:8 And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to
you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let
Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.
02-9:10 And they took ashes of
the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven;
and it became a boil breaking forth with blains
upon man, and upon beast.
02-27:3 And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his
fleshhooks, and his firepans: all
the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.
03-1:16 And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers,
and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:
03-4:12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without
the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are
poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out
shall he be burnt.
03-6:10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his
linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt
offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
03-6:11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other
garments, and carry forth the ashes without the
camp unto a clean place.
04-4:13 And they shall take away the ashes
from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
04-19:9 And a man that
is clean shall gather up the ashes of the
heifer, and lay them up without the
camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the
children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification
for sin.
04-19:10 And he that gathereth the ashes
of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of
Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for
ever.
04-19:17 And for an unclean person
they shall take of the ashes of the burnt
heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a
vessel:
10-13:19 And Tamar put ashes on
her head, and rent her garment of divers colours that was on her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on crying.

Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes
that are upon it shall be poured out.

commandment and his decree came, there

and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.

dust and ashes.
18-42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself,
and repent in dust and ashes.

like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
19-147:16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.
23-44:20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him
aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

to afflict his soul? is it to bow
down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt
thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
23-61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto
them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for
mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be
called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be
glorified.
24-6:26 O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter
lamentation: for the spoiler shall
suddenly come upon us.
24-25:34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes,
ye principal of the flock: for
the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye
shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
24-31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron,
unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown
down any more for ever.
25-3:16 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he
hath covered me with ashes.
26-27:30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee,
and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall
wallow themselves in the ashes:
26-28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of
thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth
a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that
behold thee.
27-9:3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer
and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
32-3:6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose
from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
39-4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I
shall do this, saith the LORD of
hosts.
40-11:21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for
if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon,
they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
42-10:13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for
if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in
you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all
seasons,
44-21:27 And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews
which were of Asia, when
they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,
44-24:18 Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with
multitude, nor with tumult.
44-27:2 And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched,
meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus,
a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
46-16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in
the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
47-1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our
trouble which came to us in Asia, that
we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even
of life:
55-1:15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of
whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
60-1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers
scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
66-1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace,
from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven
Spirits which are before his throne;
66-1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a
book, and send it unto the seven
churches which are in Asia; unto
Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto
Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

02-EXODUS
02-3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not
burnt.
02-3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of
the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
02-32:8 They have turned aside
quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and
have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be
thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
04-5:12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a
trespass against him,
04-5:19 And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say
unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter
water that causeth the curse:
04-5:20 But if thou hast gone aside
to another instead of thy husband,
and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
04-5:29 This is the
law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and
is defiled;
04-22:23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the
way, and his sword drawn in his hand:
and the ass turned aside out of the way, and
went into the field: and Balaam
smote the ass, to turn her into the way.
05-5:32 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God
hath commanded you: ye shall not
turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
05-9:12 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down
quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt
have corrupted themselves; they are
quickly turned aside out of the way which I
commanded them; they have made them a molten image.
05-9:16 And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the
LORD your God, and had made you a
molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had
commanded you.
05-11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not
deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other
gods, and worship them;
05-11:28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of
the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way
which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
05-17:20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren,
and that he turn not aside from the commandment,
to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of
Israel.
05-28:14 And thou shalt not go aside
from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the
left, to go after other gods to serve them.
05-31:29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt
yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and
evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight
of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
06-23:6 Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all
that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to
the right hand or to the left;
07-14:8 And after a time he returned to take her, and he
turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.
07-19:12 And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside hither into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we
will pass over to Gibeah.
07-19:15 And they turned aside
thither, to go in and to lodge in
Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat
him down in a street of the city:
for there was no man that took them
into his house to lodging.
08-4:1 Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz
spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside,
sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat
down.
09-6:12 And the kine took the straight way to the way of

09-12:20 And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside
from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;
09-12:21 And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things,
which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
10-2:21 And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee
hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not
turn aside from following of him.
10-2:22 And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I
hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
10-2:23 Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end
of the spear smote him under the fifth rib,
that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the
same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where
Asahel fell down and died stood still.
10-3:27 And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote
him there under the fifth rib, that
he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

and stood still.
11-15:5 Because David did that
which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned not aside from any thing
that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of
Uriah the Hittite.
11-20:39 And as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went out
into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any means he be missing, then
shall thy life be for his life, or else thou shalt pay a talent of silver.
11-22:32 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots
saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is
the king of Israel. And they turned aside to
fight against him: and Jehoshaphat
cried out.
11-22:43 And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he
turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the
LORD: nevertheless the high places
were not taken away; for the people offered
and burnt incense yet in the high places.
12-4:4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door
upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and
thou shalt set aside that which is full.
12-22:2 And he did that
which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of
David his father, and turned not aside to the
right hand or to the left.
13-13:13 So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
18-6:18 The paths of their way are turned aside; they go to nothing, and perish.
19-14:3 They are all gone aside,
they are all together become filthy: there
is none that doeth good, no, not one.
19-40:4 Blessed is that
man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as
turn aside to lies.
19-78:57 But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their
fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
19-101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall
not cleave to me.
19-125:5 As for such as turn aside
unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of
iniquity: but peace shall be upon
Israel.
22-1:7 Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest,
where thou makest thy flock to rest
at noon: for why should I be as one
that turneth aside by the flocks of thy
companions?

the just for a thing of nought.

out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is
there not a lie in my right hand?

trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring
man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?
24-15:5 For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who
shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask
how thou doest?

ways, and pulled me in pieces: he
hath made me desolate.

of a man before the face of the most High,
30-2:7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of
the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in
unto the same maid, to profane my
holy name:
30-5:12 For I know your manifold transgressions, and your
mighty sins: they afflict the just,
they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor
in the gate from their right.
39-3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be
a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against
false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the
fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith
the LORD of hosts.
