05-DEUTERONOMY
05-28:28 The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness,
and astonishment of heart:
05-28:37 And thou shalt become an astonishment,
a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.
14-7:21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that
he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
14-29:8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and
Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment,
and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
19-60:3 Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine
of astonishment.
24-8:21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I
am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.
24-25:9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the
north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and
will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and
against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make
them an astonishment, and an hissing, and
perpetual desolations.
24-25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment;
and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
24-25:18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings
thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
24-29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the
famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the
kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment,
and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven
them:
24-42:18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into
Egypt: and ye shall be an
execration, and an astonishment, and a curse,
and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.
24-44:12 And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set
their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be
consumed, and fall in the land of
Egypt; they shall even be consumed by
the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even
unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse,
and a reproach.
24-44:22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the
evil of your doings, and because of
the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation,
and an astonishment, and a curse, without an
inhabitant, as at this day.
24-51:37 And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for
dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing,
without an inhabitant.
24-51:41 How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the
whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment
among the nations!
26-4:16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will
break the staff of bread in Jerusalem:
and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water
by measure, and with astonishment:
26-5:15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction
and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall
execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the
LORD have spoken it.
26-12:19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the
Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and
of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and
drink their water with astonishment, that her
land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all
them that dwell therein.
26-23:33 Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with
the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the
cup of thy sister Samaria.
38-12:4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse
with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the
house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
41-5:42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she
was of the age of twelve years. And
they were astonished with a great astonishment.

02-EXODUS
02-23:4 If thou meet thine enemy’s ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.
05-22:1 Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.
19-58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray
as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
19-119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
19-119:176 I have gone astray like
a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
20-5:23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness
of his folly he shall go astray.
20-7:25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
20-28:10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his
own pit: but the upright shall have
good things in possession.
23-53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all.
24-50:6 My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray,
they have turned them away on the
mountains: they have gone from
mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
26-14:11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all
their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-44:10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when
Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even
bear their iniquity.
26-44:15 But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that
kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister
unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood,
saith the Lord GOD:
26-48:11 It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of
Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray
when the children of Israel went astray, as the
Levites went astray.
40-18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one
of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the
ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
40-18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you,
he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than
of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
60-1 PETER
60-2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray;
but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
61-2 PETER
61-2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of
unrighteousness;

27-DANIEL
27-2:10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said,
There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer,
or Chaldean.

23-ISAIAH
23-47:13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let
now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly
prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
27-DANIEL
27-1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them
ten times better than all the magicians and
astrologers that were in all his realm.
27-2:2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the
astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the
Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the
king.
27-2:27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said,
The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians,
the soothsayers, shew unto the king;
27-4:7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before them; but
they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof.
27-5:7 The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And the king spake, and said to the wise
men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read
this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with
scarlet, and have a chain of gold
about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-5:11 There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in
the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of
the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the
magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
27-5:15 And now the wise men,
the astrologers, have been brought in before
me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the
interpretation thereof: but they
could not shew the interpretation of the thing:

03-LEVITICUS
03-1:17 And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the
altar, upon the wood that is upon the
fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour
unto the LORD.
03-5:8 And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall
offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his
neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
04-16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking
all these words, that the ground clave asunder
that was under them:
12-2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and
talked, that, behold, there appeared a
chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into
heaven.
18-16:12 I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he
hath also taken me by my neck, and
shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
18-16:13 His archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my
reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth
out my gall upon the ground.
19-2:3 Let us break their bands asunder,
and cast away their cords from us.
19-129:4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder
the cords of the wicked.
24-50:23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation
among the nations!
26-30:16 And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall
have distresses daily.
35-3:6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the
nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did
bow: his ways are everlasting.
38-11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder,
that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
38-11:14 Then I cut asunder mine
other staff, even Bands, that I might
break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
40-19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
40-24:51 And shall cut him asunder,
and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
41-5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and
chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder
by him, and the fetters broken in pieces:
neither could any man tame him.
41-10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man
put asunder.
44-1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of
iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder
in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
44-15:39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that
they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed
unto Cyprus;
58-4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
58-11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and
goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
