01-35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was
in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father
called him Benjamin.
01-35:24 The sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:
01-42:4 But Benjamin, Joseph’s brother, Jacob sent not with his
brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure mischief befall him.
01-42:36 And Jacob their father said unto
them, Me have ye bereaved of my children:
Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.
01-43:14 And God Almighty give you mercy
before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
01-43:15 And the men took that present, and
they took double money in their hand, and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and
stood before Joseph.
01-43:16 And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the
ruler of his house, Bring these men
home, and slay, and make ready; for these
men shall dine with me at noon.
01-43:29 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw
his brother Benjamin,
his mother’s son, and said, Is this
your younger brother, of whom ye spake unto me? And he said, God be gracious
unto thee, my son.
01-45:12 And, behold, your eyes see, and the
eyes of my brother Benjamin,
that it is my mouth that speaketh
unto you.
01-45:14 And he fell upon his brother
Benjamin’s neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
01-45:22 To all of them he gave each man
changes of raiment; but to Benjamin he
gave three hundred pieces of silver,
and five changes of raiment.
01-46:19 The sons of Rachel Jacob’s wife;
Joseph, and Benjamin.
01-46:21 And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and
Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
01-49:27 Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he
shall divide the spoil.
02-1:3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,
04-1:11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.
04-1:36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations,
after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of
the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to
war;
04-1:37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
04-2:22 Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the
sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
04-7:60 On the ninth day Abidan the son of
Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin, offered:
04-10:24 And over the host of the tribe of the
children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
04-13:9 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu.
04-26:38 The
sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites:
of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:
04-26:41 These are the sons of Benjamin
after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
04-34:21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of
Chislon.
05-27:12 These
shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over
Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
05-33:12 And
of Benjamin he
said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day
long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
06-18:11 And the lot of the tribe of the children
of Benjamin came up according to their
families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah
and the children of Joseph.
06-18:20 And Jordan was the border of it on
the east side. This was the
inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according
to their families.
06-18:21 Now the cities of the tribe of the
children of Benjamin
according to their families were Jericho, and Bethhoglah, and the valley of
Keziz.
06-18:28 And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their
villages. This is the inheritance of
the children of Benjamin
according to their families.
06-21:4 And the lot came out for the
families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, which were of the Levites, had by lot
out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe
of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
06-21:17 And
out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her
suburbs,
07-1:21 And the
children of Benjamin did
not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell
with the children of Benjamin in
Jerusalem unto this day.
07-5:14 Out of
Ephraim was there a root of them
against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin,
among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they
that handle the pen of the writer.
07-10:9 Moreover
the children of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and
against Benjamin, and
against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed.
07-19:14 And they
passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, which belongeth to Benjamin.
07-20:3 (Now the
children of Benjamin
heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?
07-20:4 And the
Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into
Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.
07-20:10 And we
will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an
hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for
the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the
folly that they have wrought in Israel.
07-20:12 And the
tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?
07-20:13 Now
therefore deliver us the men, the
children of Belial, which are in
Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the
children of Benjamin would not
hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:
07-20:14 But the
children of Benjamin
gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle
against the children of Israel.
07-20:15 And the
children of Benjamin
were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that
drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred
chosen men.
07-20:17 And the
men of Israel, beside Benjamin,
were numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword: all these were men of war.
07-20:18 And the children
of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and
said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first.
07-20:20 And the
men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array
to fight against them at Gibeah.
07-20:21 And the
children of Benjamin
came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites
that day twenty and two thousand men.
07-20:23 (And the
children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked
counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children
of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD
said, Go up against him.)
07-20:24 And the
children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day.
07-20:25 And Benjamin went forth
against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the
ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew
the sword.
07-20:28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son
of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go
out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD
said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.
07-20:30 And the
children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array
against Gibeah, as at other times.
07-20:31 And the
children of Benjamin
went out against the people, and were
drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the
highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in
the field, about thirty men of Israel.
07-20:32 And the
children of Benjamin
said, They are smitten down before
us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw
them from the city unto the highways.
07-20:35 And the LORD smote Benjamin before
Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day
twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.
07-20:36 So the
children of Benjamin saw
that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites,
because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.
07-20:39 And when the
men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to smite and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said,
Surely they are smitten down before us, as in
the first battle.
07-20:41 And when
the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come
upon them.
07-20:44 And there fell of Benjamin eighteen
thousand men; all these were men of
valour.
07-20:46 So that
all which fell that day of Benjamin were
twenty and five thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour.
07-20:48 And the men of Israel turned again upon the
children of Benjamin, and smote them with the edge of the
sword, as well the men of every city,
as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the cities
that they came to.
07-21:1 Now the
men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his
daughter unto Benjamin to
wife.
07-21:6 And the
children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe
cut off from Israel this day.
07-21:13 And the
whole congregation sent some to speak
to the children of Benjamin
that were in the rock Rimmon, and to
call peaceably unto them.
07-21:14 And Benjamin came again at that time;
and they gave them wives which they had saved alive of the women of
Jabeshgilead: and yet so they sufficed them not.
07-21:15 And the
people repented them for Benjamin,
because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.
07-21:16 Then the
elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that
remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?
07-21:17 And they
said, There must be an inheritance
for them that be escaped of Benjamin,
that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.
07-21:18 Howbeit we
may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have
sworn, saying, Cursed be he that
giveth a wife to Benjamin.
07-21:20 Therefore they
commanded the children of Benjamin,
saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;
07-21:21 And see, and,
behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye
out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of
Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
07-21:23 And the
children of Benjamin did
so, and took them wives, according to
their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned
unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.
09-4:12 And there
ran a man of Benjamin out
of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with
earth upon his head.
09-9:1 Now
there was a man of Benjamin,
whose name was Kish, the son of Abiel,
the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a
mighty man of power.
09-9:16 To morrow
about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him
to be captain over my people Israel,
that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have
looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.
09-9:21 And Saul
answered and said, Am not I a
Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of
all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou so to me?
09-10:2 When thou art departed from me to day, then thou
shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will
say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy
father hath left the care of the asses, and
sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
09-10:20 And when Samuel
had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.
09-10:21 When he
had caused the tribe of Benjamin to
come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of
Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.
09-13:2 Saul
chose him three thousand men of
Israel; whereof two thousand were
with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in
Gibeah of Benjamin:
and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.
09-13:15 And Samuel
arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six
hundred men.
09-13:16 And Saul,
and Jonathan his son, and the people that
were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.
09-14:16 And the
watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and, behold, the multitude melted
away, and they went on beating down one
another.
10-2:9 And made
him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over
Ephraim, and over Benjamin,
and over all Israel.
10-2:15 Then
there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained
to Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.
10-2:25 And the
children of Benjamin
gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on
the top of an hill.
10-2:31 But the
servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.
10-3:19 And Abner
also spake in the ears of Benjamin: and
Abner went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to
Israel, and that seemed good to the whole house of Benjamin.
10-4:2 And Saul’s
son had two men that were captains of
bands: the name of the one was Baanah,
and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the
children of Benjamin:
(for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin.
10-19:17 And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the
servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with
him; and they went over Jordan before the king.
10-21:14 And the
bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the sepulchre
of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after
that God was intreated for the land.
10-23:29 Heleb the
son of Baanah, a Netophathite, Ittai the son of Ribai out of Gibeah of the
children of Benjamin,
11-4:18 Shimei
the son of Elah, in Benjamin:
11-12:21 And when
Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the
tribe of Benjamin, an
hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight
against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of
Solomon.
11-12:23 Speak unto
Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and
Benjamin, and to the remnant of the
people, saying,
11-15:22 Then king
Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and the
timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had builded; and king Asa built with them Geba
of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
13-2:2 Dan,
Joseph, and Benjamin,
Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
13-6:60 And out
of the tribe of Benjamin;
Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her
suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
13-6:65 And they gave
by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the
children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are
called by their names.
13-7:6 The sons of Benjamin; Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.
13-7:10 The sons
also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah,
and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.
13-8:1 Now Benjamin begat Bela his
firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
13-8:40 And the
sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’
sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are
of the sons of Benjamin.
13-9:3 And in
Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of
Ephraim, and Manasseh;
13-9:7 And of
the sons of Benjamin;
Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,
13-11:31 Ithai the
son of Ribai of Gibeah, that pertained to
the children of Benjamin,
Benaiah the Pirathonite,
13-12:2 They were armed with bows, and could use
both the right hand and the left in hurling
stones and shooting arrows out of
a bow, even of Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
13-12:16 And there
came of the children of Benjamin and
Judah to the hold unto David.
13-12:29 And of the
children of Benjamin,
the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had
kept the ward of the house of Saul.
13-21:6 But Levi
and Benjamin
counted he not among them: for the king’s word was abominable to Joab.
13-27:21 Of the
half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead,
Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
14-11:1 And when
Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore
thousand chosen men, which were warriors,
to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
14-11:3 Speak
unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and
Benjamin, saying,
14-11:10 And Zorah,
and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in
Judah and in Benjamin
fenced cities.
14-11:12 And in
every several city he put shields and
spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
14-11:23 And he
dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of
Judah and Benjamin,
unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired
many wives.
14-14:8 And Asa
had an army of men that bare targets
and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bare shields and
drew bows, two hundred and fourscore thousand: all these were mighty men of valour.
14-15:2 And he
went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and
if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake
you.
14-15:8 And when
Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage,
and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities
which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
14-15:9 And he
gathered all Judah and Benjamin,
and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for
they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his
God was with him.
14-17:17 And of Benjamin; Eliada a mighty man of
valour, and with him armed men with bow and shield two hundred thousand.
14-25:5 Moreover
Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and
captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old
and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
14-31:1 Now when
all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of
Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down
the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had
utterly destroyed them all. Then all the
children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
14-34:9 And when
they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought
into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of
the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all
Judah and Benjamin;
and they returned to Jerusalem.
14-34:32 And he
caused all that were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand to
it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God,
the God of their fathers.
15-1:5 Then
rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go
up to build the house of the LORD which is
in Jerusalem.
15-4:1 Now when
the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity
builded the temple unto the LORD God of Israel;
15-10:9 Then all the
men of Judah and Benjamin
gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat
in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain.
15-10:32 Benjamin, Malluch, and Shemariah.
16-3:23 After him
repaired Benjamin and
Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah
the son of Ananiah by his house.
16-11:4 And at
Jerusalem dwelt certain of the
children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of
Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the
son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;
16-11:7 And these are
the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed,
the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel,
the son of Jesaiah.
16-11:31 The
children also of Benjamin
from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija,
and Bethel, and in their villages,
16-11:36 And of the
Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
16-12:34 Judah, and
Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and
Jeremiah,
19-68:27 There is little Benjamin with their
ruler, the princes of Judah and their
council, the princes of Zebulun, and the
princes of Naphtali.
19-80:2 Before
Ephraim and Benjamin and
Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and
save us.
24-1:1 The
words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
24-6:1 O ye
children of Benjamin,
gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet
in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of
the north, and great destruction.
24-17:26 And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and
from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and
from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and
sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise,
unto the house of the LORD.
24-20:2 Then
Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.
24-32:8 So
Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to
the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of
inheritance is thine, and the
redemption is thine; buy it for thyself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
24-32:44 Men shall
buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the
cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the
valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to
return, saith the LORD.
24-33:13 In the
cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the
south, and in the land of Benjamin,
and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks
pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD.
24-37:12 Then
Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself
thence in the midst of the people.
24-37:13 And when
he was in the gate of Benjamin, a
captain of the ward was there, whose
name was Irijah, the son of
Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, Thou
fallest away to the Chaldeans.
24-38:7 Now when
Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king’s house,
heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the
gate of Benjamin;
26-48:22 Moreover
from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince’s, between the border of Judah and the
border of Benjamin,
shall be for the prince.
26-48:23 As for the
rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.
26-48:24 And by the
border of Benjamin,
from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion.
26-48:32 And at the
east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of
Joseph, one gate of Benjamin,
one gate of Dan.
28-5:8 Blow ye
the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet
in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven,
after thee, O Benjamin.
31-1:19 And they of the south shall possess the
mount of Esau; and they of the plain
the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields
of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.
44-13:21 And
afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a
man of the tribe of Benjamin, by
the space of forty years.
45-11:1 I say then,
Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the
seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
50-3:5 Circumcised
the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of
the tribe of Benjamin, an
Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
66-7:8 Of the
tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed
twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

01-43:34 And he took and sent messes unto them from before him: but Benjamin’s mess was five times so
much as any of theirs. And they drank, and were merry with him.
01-44:12 And he searched, and began at the eldest, and left at the youngest: and the cup was
found in Benjamin’s
sack.
01-45:14 And he fell upon his brother Benjamin’s neck, and wept; and
Benjamin wept upon his neck.
38-14:10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba
to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited
in her place, from Benjamin’s
gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the
king’s winepresses.

07-3:15 But when
the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer,
Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a
man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the
king of Moab.
09-9:1 Now
there was a man of Benjamin, whose name was
Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath, the son of
Aphiah, a Benjamite, a
mighty man of power.
09-9:21 And Saul answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the
smallest of the tribes of Israel? and
my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore
then speakest thou so to me?
10-16:11 And David
said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more
now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for
the LORD hath bidden him.
10-19:16 And Shimei
the son of Gera, a Benjamite,
which was of Bahurim, hasted and came
down with the men of Judah to meet king David.
10-20:1 And there happened to be there a man of Belial,
whose name was Sheba, the son of
Bichri, a Benjamite: and he
blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse:
every man to his tents, O Israel.
11-2:8 And, behold, thou
hast with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim,
which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but
he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the LORD, saying, I
will not put thee to death with the sword.
17-2:5 Now in Shushan the palace there was a
certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai,
the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjamite;
19-7:title Shiggaion of David, which he sang
unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.

07-19:16 And,
behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned
in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.
07-20:35 And the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the
children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an
hundred men: all these drew the sword.
07-20:36 So the
children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave
place to the Benjamites,
because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.
07-20:40 But when the
flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them, and,
behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.
07-20:43 Thus they inclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them, and trode them down with ease over against Gibeah toward the
sunrising.
09-9:4 And he
passed through mount Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalisha, but they
found them not: then they passed
through the land of Shalim, and there
they were not: and he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they found them not.
09-22:7 Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about
him, Hear now, ye Benjamites;
will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands,
and captains of hundreds;
13-27:12 The ninth captain
for the ninth month was Abiezer
the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

13-24:26 The sons
of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the
sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
13-24:27 The sons
of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and
Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.

01-35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was
in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

19-PSALMS
19-7:12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
19-37:14 The wicked
have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright
conversation.
23-ISAIAH
23-5:28 Whose
arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their
horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind.
23-21:15 For they
fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow,
and from the grievousness of war.
25-2:4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right
hand as an adversary, and slew all that
were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he
poured out his fury like fire.
25-3:12 He hath bent his
bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
28-11:7 And my
people are bent to
backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all
would exalt him.
38-9:13 When I
have bent Judah for
me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy
sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.

01-36:32 And
Bela the son of Beor reigned
in Edom: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
04-22:5 He sent messengers therefore unto
Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him,
saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the
face of the earth, and they abide over against me:
04-24:3 And he took up his parable, and
said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open
hath said:
04-24:15 And he took up his parable, and said,
Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open
hath said:
04-31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian,
beside the rest of them that were slain; namely,
Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam
also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.
05-23:4 Because they met you not with bread and
with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired
against thee Balaam the son of Beor of
Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
06-13:22 Balaam also the son of Beor,
the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that
were slain by them.
06-24:9 Then Balak the son of Zippor, king
of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of
Beor
to curse you:
13-1:43 Now these
are the kings that reigned in the
land of Edom before any king reigned
over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the
name of his city was Dinhabah.
33-6:5 O my
people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son
of Beor
answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of
the LORD.

14-20:26 And on the

the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.

came thither also, and stirred up the people.
44-20:4 And there

and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

21-ECCLESIASTES
21-4:8 There is
one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour;
neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a
sore travail.
24-JEREMIAH
24-15:7 And I
will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people, since they return not from their ways.
26-5:17 So will I
send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass
through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.
26-36:12 Yea, I
will cause men to walk upon you, even my
people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their
inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of
men.
26-36:14 Therefore
thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
28-9:12 Though
they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that
there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I
depart from them!

01-GENESIS
01-42:36 And Jacob
their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children:
Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.
01-43:14 And God
Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other
brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my
children, I am bereaved.
24-JEREMIAH
24-18:21 Therefore
deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let
their wives be bereaved of
their children, and be widows; and
let their men be put to death; let their
young men be slain by the sword in
battle.
26-36:13 Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations; + bereaved
+
28-13:8 I will
meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there
will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.

25-LAMENTATIONS
25-1:20 Behold, O
LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels
are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled:
abroad the sword bereaveth,
at home there is as death.
