01-GENESIS
01-4:17 And Cain
knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after
the name of his son, Enoch.
01-8:20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every
clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
01-10:11 Out of
that land went forth Asshur, and builded
Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
01-11:5 And the
LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
01-12:7 And the LORD
appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto
him.
01-12:8 And he
removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his
tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the
name of the LORD.
01-26:25 And he builded an altar there, and called upon the name of
the LORD, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac’s servants digged a well.
02-24:4 And Moses
wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars,
according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
04-32:38 And Nebo, and
Baalmeon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto
the cities which they builded.
06-22:16 Thus saith
the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass is this that ye have
committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the
LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that
ye might rebel this day against the LORD?
11-8:27 But will
God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot
contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
11-8:43 Hear thou
in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth
to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do
thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.
11-15:22 Then king
Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and
they took away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha
had builded; and king Asa built with them Geba
of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
12-23:13 And the
high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right
hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the
Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the
abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
13-22:5 And David
said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to
be builded for the LORD must be exceeding
magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now
make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
15-3:2 Then
stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and
Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded
the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written
in the law of Moses the man of God.
15-4:1 Now when
the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the LORD God of Israel;
15-4:13 Be it
known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded,
and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and
custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.
15-4:16 We
certify the king that, if this city be builded again,
and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on
this side the river.
15-4:21 Give ye
now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not builded, until another commandment shall be
given from me.
15-5:8 Be it
known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of
the great God, which is builded with great
stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and
prospereth in their hands.
15-5:11 And thus
they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and
earth, and build the house that was builded
these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded
and set up.
15-5:15 And said
unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in
Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded
in his place.
15-6:3 In the
first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning
the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded,
the place where they offered sacrifices, and
let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof
threescore cubits;
15-6:14 And the
elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered
through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo.
And they builded, and finished it, according
to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of
Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
16-3:1 Then
Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up
the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower
of Hananeel.
16-3:2 And next
unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to
them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
16-4:1 But it
came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded
the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
16-4:17 They
which builded on the wall, and they that bare
burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought
in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
16-4:18 For the
builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by
me.
16-6:1 Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah,
and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)
16-7:4 Now the
city was large and great: but the people were few therein, and
the houses were not builded.
16-12:29 Also from
the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the
singers had builded them villages round about
Jerusalem.
18-20:19 Because he
hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath
violently taken away an house which he builded
not;
19-122:3 Jerusalem
is builded as a city that is compact together:
20-9:1 Wisdom
hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her
seven pillars:
20-24:3 Through
wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding
it is established:
21-2:4 I made
me great works; I builded me houses; I planted
me vineyards:
22-4:4 Thy neck
is like the tower of David builded for an
armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.
24-30:18 Thus saith
the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have
mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded
upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
25-3:5 He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall
and travail.
26-36:10 And I will
multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the
cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
26-36:33 Thus saith
the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your
iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes
shall be builded.
42-17:28 Likewise
also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they
sold, they planted, they builded;
49-2:22 In whom ye also are builded
together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
58-3:3 For this
man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath
builded the house hath more honour than the
house.
58-3:4 For
every house is builded by some man; but
he that built all things is God.

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-6:10 And it
shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he
sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great
and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
______________________________________________________________________
58-HEBREWS
58-11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations,
whose builder and maker is God.
______________________________________________________________________
11-1 KINGS
11-5:18 And Solomon’s builders
and Hiram’s builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they
prepared timber and stones to build the house.
12-2 KINGS
12-12:11 And they
gave the money, being told, into the hands of them that did the work, that had
the oversight of the house of the LORD: and they laid it out to the carpenters
and builders, that wrought upon the house of the
LORD,
12-22:6 Unto
carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy
timber and hewn stone to repair the house.
14-34:11 Even to the artificers and builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for
couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.
15-3:10 And when
the builders laid the foundation of the temple
of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the
Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance
of David king of Israel.
16-4:5 And
cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before
thee: for they have provoked thee to anger before the builders.
16-4:18 For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side,
and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.
19-118:22 The stone which
the builders refused is become the head stone
of the corner.
26-27:4 Thy borders are in the midst of the seas,
thy builders have perfected thy beauty.
40-21:42 Jesus
saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner:
this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
41-12:10 And have
ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders
rejected is become the head of the corner:
42-20:17 And he
beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the
corner?
44-4:11 This is
the stone which was set at nought of you builders,
which is become the head of the corner.
60-2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious:
but unto them which be disobedient, the
stone which the builders disallowed, the same is
made the head of the corner,

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-22:8 When thou buildest
a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou
bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.
16-NEHEMIAH
16-6:6 Wherein was
written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou
and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest
the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
26-16:31 In that
thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of
every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an
harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
40-27:40 And
saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest
it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down
from the cross.
41-15:29 And they
that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that
destroyest the temple, and buildest it in
three days,

06-JOSHUA
06-6:26 And Joshua
adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD,
that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho:
he shall lay the foundation thereof in his
firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.
18-JOB
18-27:18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the
keeper maketh.
20-14:1 Every wise woman buildeth
her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
24-22:13 Woe unto
him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and
his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour’s service without wages,
and giveth him not for his work;
28-8:14 For
Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth
temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his
cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
30-9:6 It is
he that buildeth his stories in the heaven,
and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the
sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his
name.
35-2:12 Woe to
him that buildeth a town with blood, and
stablisheth a city by iniquity!
46-3:10 According
to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid
the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

06-JOSHUA
06-22:19 Notwithstanding,
if the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto
the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD’S tabernacle dwelleth,
and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building
you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God.
11-1 KINGS
11-3:1 And
Solomon made affinity with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and took Pharaoh’s daughter,
and brought her into the city of David, until he had made an end of building his own house, and the house of the LORD, and
the wall of Jerusalem round about.
11-6:7 And the
house, when it was in building, was built of
stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither
hammer nor ax nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
11-6:12 Concerning
this house which thou art in building, if
thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my
commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I
spake unto David thy father:
11-6:38 And in
the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the
house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the
fashion of it. So was he seven years in building
it.
11-7:1 But
Solomon was building his own house thirteen
years, and he finished all his house.
11-9:1 And it
came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building
of the house of the LORD, and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which
he was pleased to do,
11-15:21 And it
came to pass, when Baasha heard thereof, that he left off building of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.
13-28:2 Then
David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my
people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest
for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and
had made ready for the building:
14-3:3 Now
these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits
after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty
cubits.
14-16:5 And it
came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease.
14-16:6 Then Asa
the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber
thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he
built therewith Geba and Mizpah.
15-4:4 Then the
people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them
in building,
15-4:12 Be it
known unto the king, that the Jews which came up from thee to us are come unto
Jerusalem, building the rebellious and the bad
city, and have set up the walls thereof, and joined the foundations.
15-5:4 Then
said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make
this building?
15-5:16 Then came
the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is
in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.
15-6:8 Moreover
I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s
goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given
unto these men, that they be not hindered.
21-10:18 By much
slothfulness the building decayeth; and through
idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
26-17:17 Neither
shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the
war, by casting up mounts, and building forts,
to cut off many persons:
26-40:5 And
behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a
measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so
he measured the breadth of the building, one
reed; and the height, one reed.
26-41:12 Now the building that was before the separate place at
the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and
the length thereof ninety cubits.
26-41:13 So he
measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits
long;
26-41:15 And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was
behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side,
an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;
26-42:1 Then he
brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought
me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was
before the building toward the north.
26-42:5 Now the
upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these,
than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
26-42:6 For they were
in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts:
therefore the building was straitened
more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.
26-42:10 The
chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east,
over against the separate place, and over against the building.
26-46:23 And there
was a row of building round about in
them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under
the rows round about.
43-2:20 Then said
the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building,
and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
46-3:9 For we
are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
47-5:1 For we know
that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal
in the heavens.
49-2:21 In whom
all the building fitly framed together groweth
unto an holy temple in the Lord:
58-9:11 But
Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that
is to say, not of this building;
65-1:20 But ye,
beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy
faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
66-21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and
the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

40-MATTHEW
40-24:1 And Jesus
went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for
to shew him the buildings of the temple.
41-MARK
41-13:1 And as he
went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what
manner of stones and what buildings are here!
41-13:2 And Jesus
answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings?
there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

01-GENESIS
01-13:18 Then Abram
removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in
Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.
01-22:9 And they
came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and
bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
01-33:17 And Jacob
journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house,
and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
01-35:7 And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel:
because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
02-1:11 Therefore
they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they
built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and
Raamses.
02-17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it
Jehovahnissi:
02-32:5 And when
Aaron saw it, he built an altar before
it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the
LORD.
04-13:22 And they
ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai,
the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built
seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
04-21:27 Wherefore
they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:
04-23:14 And he
brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on
every altar.
04-32:34 And the
children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and
Aroer,
04-32:37 And the
children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh,
and Kirjathaim,
05-8:12 Lest when
thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built
goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
05-13:16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the
midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all
the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD
thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
05-20:5 And the
officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that
hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated
it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another
man dedicate it.
06-8:30 Then
Joshua built an altar unto the LORD God of
Israel in mount Ebal,
06-19:50 According
to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah
in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and
dwelt therein.
06-22:10 And when
they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan,
the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see
to.
06-22:11 And the
children of Israel heard say, Behold, the children of Reuben and the children
of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh have built
an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the borders of Jordan, at the
passage of the children of Israel.
06-22:23 That we
have built us an altar to turn from following
the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to
offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it;
06-24:13 And I have
given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and
oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
07-1:26 And the
man went into the land of the Hittites, and built
a city, and called the name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto
this day.
07-6:24 Then
Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called
it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
07-6:28 And when
the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was
cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second
bullock was offered upon the altar that was built.
07-18:28 And there
was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no
business with any man; and it was in the valley that lieth by
Bethrehob. And they built a city, and dwelt
therein.
07-21:4 And it came
to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built
there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.
09-7:17 And his
return was to Ramah; for there was his house; and there he judged
Israel; and there he built an altar unto the
LORD.
09-14:35 And Saul built an altar unto the LORD: the same was the first
altar that he built unto the LORD.
10-2
