02-EXODUS
02-29:13 And
thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above
the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon
the altar.
02-29:22 Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the
rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the
liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration:
03-3:4 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall
he take away.
03-3:10 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall
he take away.
03-3:15 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall
he take away.
03-4:9 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall
he take away,
03-7:4 And
the two kidneys, and the fat that is on
them, which is by the flanks, and the
caul that is
above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:
03-8:16 And
he took all the fat that was upon the
inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses
burned it upon the altar.
03-8:25 And
he took the fat, and the rump, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys,
and their fat, and the right shoulder:
03-9:10 But
the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the
liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded
Moses.
03-9:19 And
the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the
liver:
28-13:8 I
will meet them as a bear that is bereaved
of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like
a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.

23-ISAIAH
23-3:18 In
that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about
their feet, and their cauls, and their
round tires like the moon,

01-GENESIS
01-7:4 For
yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon
the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have
made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
01-45:1 Then
Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he
cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And
there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.
02-8:5 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy
rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
02-9:16 And
in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may
be declared throughout all the earth.
02-9:18 Behold,
to morrow about this time I will cause it to
rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation
thereof even until now.
02-21:19 If
he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to
be thoroughly healed.
02-22:5 If
a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be
eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of
the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make
restitution.
02-22:9 For
all manner of trespass, whether it be for
ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for
any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth
to be his, the cause of both parties shall come
before the judges; and whom the
judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.
02-23:2 Thou
shalt not follow a multitude to do evil;
neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline
after many to wrest judgment:
02-23:3 Neither
shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
02-23:6 Thou
shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
02-27:20 And
thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive
beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn
always.
02-29:10 And
thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before
the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their
hands upon the head of the bullock.
03-14:41 And
he shall cause the house to be scraped within
round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the
city into an unclean place:
03-19:29 Do
not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be
a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of
wickedness.
03-24:2 Command
the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the
light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.
03-24:19 And
if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he
hath done, so shall it be done to him;
03-25:9 Then
shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to
sound on the tenth day of the seventh
month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all
your land.
03-26:16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the
burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause
sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat
it.
04-5:24 And
he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter
water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter
into her, and become bitter.
04-5:26 And
the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause
the woman to drink the water.
04-16:5 And
he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD
will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to
come near unto him: even him whom he
hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
04-16:11 For
which cause both
thou and all thy company are gathered
together against the LORD: and what is Aaron,
that ye murmur against him?
04-27:5 And
Moses brought their cause before the LORD.
04-27:7 The
daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession
of an inheritance among their father’s brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto
them.
04-27:8 And
thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no
son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass
unto his daughter.
04-28:7 And
the drink offering thereof shall be the
fourth part of an hin for the one
lamb: in the holy place shalt thou cause the strong wine to be poured unto the LORD for a drink offering.
04-35:30 Whoso
killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of
witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to
die.
05-1:17 Ye
shall not respect persons in judgment; but
ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the
face of man; for the judgment is God’s:
and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.
05-1:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which
standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
05-3:28 But
charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over
before this people, and he shall cause them to
inherit the land which thou shalt see.
05-12:11 Then
there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring
all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes,
and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto
the LORD:
05-17:16 But
he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause
the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses:
forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more
that way.
05-24:4 Her
former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife,
after that she is defiled; for that is abomination
before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the
land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
05-25:2 And
it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy
to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to
lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a
certain number.
05-28:7 The
LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up
against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee
one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
05-28:25 The
LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine
enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before
them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
05-31:7 And
Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be
strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land
which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.
06-5:4 And
this is the cause
why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after
they came out of Egypt.
06-20:4 And
when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of
the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause
in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto
them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
06-23:7 That
ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make
mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to
swear by them, neither serve them,
nor bow yourselves unto them:
09-17:29 And
David said, What have I now done? Is
there not a cause?
09-19:5 For
he did put his life in his hand, and slew the Philistine, and the LORD wrought
a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against
innocent blood, to slay David without a cause?
09-24:15 The
LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.
09-25:39 And
when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause
of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for
the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David
sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
09-28:9 And
the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath
cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land:
wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause
me to die?
10-3:35 And
when all the people came to cause David to eat
meat while it was yet day, David sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also,
if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.
10-13:13 And
I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as
for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray
thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee.
10-13:16 And
she said unto him, There is no cause: this evil in sending me away is greater than the other that thou
didst unto me. But he would not hearken unto her.
10-15:4 Absalom
said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath
any suit or cause might come unto me, and I
would do him justice!
11-1:33 The
king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and
bring him down to Gihon:
11-5:9 My
servants shall bring them down from
Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place
that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them
to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my
household.
11-8:31 If
any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine
altar in this house:
11-8:45 Then
hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
11-8:49 Then
hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and
maintain their cause,
11-8:59 And
let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh
unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause
of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
11-11:27 And
this was the cause
that he lifted up his hand against
the king: Solomon built Millo, and repaired
the breaches of the city of David his father.
11-12:15 Wherefore
the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause
was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by
Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
12-19:7 Behold,
I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to
his own land; and I will cause him to fall by
the sword in his own land.
13-21:3 And
Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why
then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause
of trespass to Israel?
14-6:35 Then
hear thou from the heavens their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their
cause.
14-6:39 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned
against thee.
14-10:15 So
the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause
was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of
Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
14-19:10 And
what cause soever shall come to you of your
brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and
commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass
not against the LORD, and so wrath
come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
14-32:20 And
for this cause
Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried
to heaven.
15-4:15 That
search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou
find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and
that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for which cause was this city destroyed.
15-4:21 Give
ye now commandment to cause these men to cease,
and that this city be not builded, until another
commandment shall be given from me.
15-5:5 But
the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius:
and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.
16-4:11 And
our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the
midst among them, and slay them, and cause the
work to cease.
16-6:6 Wherein
was written, It is reported among the
heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou
and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause
thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these
words.
16-13:26 Did
not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was
there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over
all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause
to sin.
17-3:13 And
the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to
kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both
young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of
the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
17-5:5 Then
the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that
he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that
Esther had prepared.
17-8:11 Wherein
the king granted the Jews which were in
every city to gather themselves together, and to stand for their life, to
destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all
the power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to take the spoil of them for a prey,
18-2:3 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a
perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still
he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy
him without cause.
18-5:8 I
would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
18-6:24 Teach
me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to
understand wherein I have erred.
18-9:17 For
he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.
18-13:18 Behold
now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
18-20:2 Therefore
do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
18-23:4 I
would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
18-24:7 They
cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
18-24:10 They
cause him to
go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
18-29:16 I
was a father to the poor: and the cause which I
knew not I searched out.
18-31:13 If
I did despise the cause of my manservant or of
my maidservant, when they contended with me;
18-34:11 For
the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause
every man to find according to his ways.
18-34:28 So
that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto
him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.
18-38:26 To
cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there
is no man;
18-38:27 To
satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and
to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring
forth?
19-7:4 If
I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered
him that without cause is mine enemy:)
19-9:4 For
thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou
satest in the throne judging right.
19-10:17 LORD,
thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou
wilt cause thine ear to hear:
19-25:3 Yea,
let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress
without cause.
19-35:1 Plead
my cause, O
LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
19-35:7 For
without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged
for my soul.
19-35:19 Let
not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
19-35:23 Stir
up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even
unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
19-35:27 Let
them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be
magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
19-43:1 Judge
me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly
nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
19-67:1 God
be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
19-69:4 They
that hate me without a cause are more than the
hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
19-71:2 Deliver
me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape:
incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
19-74:22 Arise,
O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the
foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
19-76:8 Thou
didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven;
the earth feared, and was still,
19-80:3 Turn
us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine;
and we shall be saved.
19-80:7 Turn
us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to
shine; and we shall be saved.
19-80:9 Thou
preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
19-80:19 Turn
us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to
shine; and we shall be saved.
19-85:4 Turn
us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine
anger toward us to cease.
19-109:3 They
compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
19-119:78 Let
the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I
will meditate in thy precepts.
19-119:154 Plead
my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according
to thy word.
19-119:161 SCHIN.
Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but
my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
19-140:12 I
know that the LORD will maintain the cause of
the afflicted, and the right of the
poor.
19-143:8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way
wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
20-1:11 If
they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the
innocent without cause:
20-3:30 Strive
not with a man without cause, if he have done
thee no harm.
20-4:16 For
they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away,
unless they cause some to fall.
20-8:21 That
I may cause those that love me to inherit
substance; and I will fill their treasures.
20-18:17 He that is first in his own cause seemeth just;
but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.
20-22:23 For
the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the
soul of those that spoiled them.
20-23:11 For
their redeemer is mighty; he shall
plead their cause with thee.
20-23:29 Who
hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath
wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
20-24:28 Be
not a witness against thy neighbour without cause;
and deceive not with thy lips.
20-25:9 Debate
thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to
another:
20-29:7 The
righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
20-31:8 Open
thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such
as are appointed to destruction.
20-31:9 Open
thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause
of the poor and needy.
21-2:20 Therefore
I went about to cause my heart to despair of all
the labour which I took under the sun.
21-5:6 Suffer
not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither
say thou before the angel, that it was an
error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of
thine hands?
21-7:10 Say
not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these?
for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
21-10:1 Dead flies cause
the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation
for wisdom and honour.
22-8:2 I would lead thee, and bring thee into my mother’s house, who would instruct me: I would cause
thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate.
22-8:13 Thou
that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear it.
23-1:23 Thy
princes are rebellious, and
companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards:
they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause
of the widow come unto them.
23-3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule
over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause
thee to err, and destroy the way of
thy paths.
23-9:16 For
the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are
destroyed.
23-10:30 Lift
up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to
be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
23-13:10 For
the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light:
the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
23-13:11 And
I will punish the world for their evil,
and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause
the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the
terrible.
23-27:6 He
shall cause them that come of Jacob to take
root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
23-28:12 To
whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
23-30:11 Get
you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause
the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
23-30:30 And
the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be
heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
23-32:6 For
the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to
practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul
of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of
the thirsty to fail.
23-37:7 Behold,
I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own
land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword
in his own land.
23-41:21 Produce
your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your
strong reasons, saith the King of
Jacob.
23-42:2 He
shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice
to be heard in the street.
23-49:8 Thus
saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of
salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a
covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause
to inherit the desolate heritages;
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that
pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I
have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it
again:
23-52:4 For
thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn
there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
23-58:14 Then
shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause
thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage
of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
23-61:11 For
as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that
are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause
righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
23-66:9 Shall
I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring
forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring
forth, and shut the womb? saith thy
God.
24-3:12 Go
and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding
Israel, saith the LORD; and I will
not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
24-5:28 They
are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they
judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the
needy do they not judge.
24-7:3 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings,
and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
24-7:7 Then
will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the
land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.
24-7:34 Then
will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah,
and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of
gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land
shall be desolate.
24-11:20 But,
O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart,
let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.
24-13:16 Give
glory to the LORD your God, before he cause
darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye
look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross
darkness.
24-14:22 Are
there any among the vanities of the
Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens
give showers? art not thou he, O LORD
our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
24-15:4 And
I will cause them to be removed into all
kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah,
for that which he did in Jerusalem.
24-15:11 The
LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
24-16:9 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in
your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the
bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
24-16:21 Therefore,
behold, I will this once cause them to know, I
will cause them to know mine hand and my might;
and they shall know that my name is The
LORD.
24-17:4 And
thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and
I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the
land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
24-18:2 Arise,
and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause
thee to hear my words.
24-19:7 And
I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies,
and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give
to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
24-19:9 And
I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons
and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his
friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek
their lives, shall straiten them.
24-20:12 But,
O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and
seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto
thee have I opened my cause.
24-22:16 He
judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.
24-23:27 Which
think to cause my people to forget my name by
their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have
forgotten my name for Baal.
24-23:32 Behold,
I am against them that prophesy false
dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause
my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not,
nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith
the LORD.
24-25:15 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my
hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send
thee, to drink it.
24-29:8 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your
diviners, that be in the midst of
you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
24-30:3 For,
lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my
people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause
them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess
it.
24-30:13 There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no
healing medicines.
24-30:21 And
their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the
midst of them; and I will cause him to draw
near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
24-31:2 Thus
saith the LORD, The people which were left
of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even
Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
24-31:9 They
shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a
straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and
Ephraim is my firstborn.
24-32:35 And
they built the high places of Baal, which are
in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause
their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it
into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause
Judah to sin.
24-32:37 Behold,
I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine
anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto
this place, and I will cause them to dwell
safely:
24-32:44 Men
shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of
Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in
the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities
of the south: for I will cause their captivity
to return, saith the LORD.
24-33:7 And
I will cause the captivity of Judah and the
captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
24-33:11 The
voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the
voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts:
for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house
of the LORD. For I will cause to return the
captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
24-33:15 In
those days, and at that time, will I cause the
Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment
and righteousness in the land.
24-33:26 Then
will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of
his seed to be rulers over the seed
of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause
their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
24-34:22 Behold,
I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them
to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn
it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an
inhabitant.
24-36:29 And
thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast
burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of
Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
24-37:20 Therefore
hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be
accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to
return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
24-38:23 So
they shall bring out all thy wives and thy children to the Chaldeans: and thou
shalt not escape out of their hand, but shalt be taken by the hand of the king
of Babylon: and thou shalt cause this city to be
burned with fire.
24-38:26 Then
thou shalt say unto them, I presented my supplication before the king, that he would
not cause me to return to Jonathan’s house, to
die there.
24-42:12 And
I will shew mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land.
24-48:12 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers,
that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty
his vessels, and break their bottles.
24-48:35 Moreover
I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD,
him that offereth in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.
24-49:2 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause
an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a
desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel
be heir unto them that were his heirs, saith the LORD.
24-49:37 For
I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their
enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them,
even my fierce anger, saith the LORD;
and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
24-50:9 For,
lo, I will raise and cause to come up against
Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set
themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none
shall return in vain.
24-50:34 Their
Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts
is his name: he shall thoroughly
plead their cause, that he may give rest to the
land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
24-51:27 Set
ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the
nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni,
and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause
the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars.
24-51:36 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause,
and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs
dry.
25-3:32 But
though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion
according to the multitude of his mercies.
25-3:36 To
subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth
not.
25-3:52 Mine
enemies chased me sore, like a bird, without cause.
25-3:59 O
LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.
26-3:3 And
he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to
eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for
sweetness.
26-5:1 And
thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to
pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and
divide the hair.
26-5:13 Thus
shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause
my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I
the LORD have spoken it in my zeal,
when I have accomplished my fury in them.
26-9:1 He
cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause
them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
26-14:15 If
I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land,
and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because
of the beasts:
26-14:23 And
they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall
know that I have not done without cause all that
I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:2 Son
of man, cause Jerusalem to know her
abominations,
26-16:21 That
thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause
them to pass through the fire for
them?
26-16:41 And
they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the
sight of many women: and I will cause thee to
cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.
26-20:4 Wilt
thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the
abominations of their fathers:
26-20:37 And
I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I
will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
26-21:17 I
will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause
my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
26-21:30 Shall
I cause it
to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast
created, in the land of thy nativity.
26-23:48 Thus
will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land,
that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.
26-24:8 That
it might cause fury to come up to take
vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be
covered.
26-24:26 That he that escapeth in that day shall
come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
26-25:7 Behold,
therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a
spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will
destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am
the LORD.
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to
come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26-26:13 And
I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease;
and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.
26-26:17 And
they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou
destroyed, that wast inhabited of
seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her
inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!
26-27:30 And
shall cause their voice to be heard against
thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they
shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
26-29:4 But
I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause
the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out
of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy
scales.
26-29:14 And
I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause
them to return into the land of
Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base
kingdom.
26-29:21 In
that day will I cause the horn of the house of
Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst
of them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-30:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images
to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt:
and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
26-30:22 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was
broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out
of his hand.
26-32:4 Then
will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field,
and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to
remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
26-32:12 By
the swords of the mighty will I cause thy
multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall
spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
26-32:14 Then
will I make their waters deep, and cause their
rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
26-34:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither
shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from
their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
26-34:15 I
will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie
down, saith the Lord GOD.
26-34:25 And
I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause
the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the
wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26-34:26 And
I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there
shall be showers of blessing.
26-36:12 Yea,
I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall
possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more
henceforth bereave them of men.
26-36:15 Neither
will I cause men
to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear
the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:27 And
I will put my spirit within you, and cause you
to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
26-36:33 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your
iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the
wastes shall be builded.
26-37:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause
breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
26-37:12 Therefore
prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I
will open your graves, and cause you to come up
out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
26-39:2 And
I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will
bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
26-39:3 And
I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause
thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
26-44:23 And
they shall teach my people the difference
between the holy and profane, and cause them
to discern between the unclean and the clean.
26-44:30 And
the first of all the firstfruits of all things,
and every oblation of all, of every sort
of your oblations, shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the
priest the first of your dough, that he may cause
the blessing to rest in thine house.
27-2:12 For
this cause the king was angry and very furious,
and commanded to destroy all the wise men
of Babylon.
27-8:25 And
through his policy also he shall cause craft to
prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself
in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up
against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
27-9:17 Now
therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications,
and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary
that is desolate, for the Lord’s sake.
27-9:27 And
he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the
week he shall cause the sacrifice and the
oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
27-11:18 After
this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince
for his own behalf shall cause the reproach
offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to
turn upon him.
27-11:39 Thus
shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall
acknowledge and increase with glory:
and he shall cause them to rule over many, and
shall divide the land for gain.
28-1:4 And
the LORD said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of
Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause
to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.
28-2:11 I
will also cause all her mirth to cease, her
feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
29-2:23 Be
glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath
given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause
to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the
first month.
29-3:11 Assemble
yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round
about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come
down, O LORD.
30-5:27 Therefore
will I cause you to go into captivity beyond
Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The
God of hosts.
30-6:3 Ye
that put far away the evil day, and cause the
seat of violence to come near;
30-8:9 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken
the earth in the clear day:
32-1:7 And
they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let us cast lots, that we may know
for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
32-1:8 Then
said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause
this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest
thou? what is thy country? and of
what people art thou?
33-7:9 I
will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until
he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me:
he will bring me forth to the light, and I
shall behold his righteousness.
35-1:3 Why
dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and
violence are before me: and there are
that raise up strife and contention.
38-8:12 For
the seed shall be prosperous; the
vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the
heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause
the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
38-13:2 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the
idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out
of the land.
40-5:22 But
I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and
whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council:
but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
40-5:32 But
I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:
and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
40-10:21 And
the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child:
and the children shall rise up against their
parents, and cause them to be put to death.
40-19:3 The
Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful
for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
40-19:5 And
said, For this cause shall a man leave father
and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
41-10:7 For
this cause shall a man leave his father and
mother, and cleave to his wife;
41-13:12 Now
the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and
children shall rise up against their parents,
and shall cause them to be put to death.
42-8:47 And
when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down
before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed
immediately.
42-21:16 And
ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends;
and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
42-23:22 And
he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him,
and let him go.
43-12:18 For
this cause the people also met him, for that
they heard that he had done this miracle.
43-12:27 Now
is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but
for this cause came I unto this hour.
43-15:25 But
this cometh to pass, that the word
might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
43-18:37 Pilate
therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that
I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause
came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one
that is of the truth heareth my voice.
44-10:21 Then
Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said,
Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the
cause wherefore ye are come?
44-13:28 And
though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he
should be slain.
44-19:40 For
we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no
cause whereby we may give an account of this
concourse.
44-23:28 And
when I would have known the cause wherefore they
accused him, I brought him forth into their council:
44-25:14 And
when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul’s cause unto the king, saying, There is a certain man
left in bonds by Felix:
44-28:18 Who,
when they had examined me, would have let me
go, because there was no cause of death in
me.
44-28:20 For
this cause therefore have I called for you, to
see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel
I am bound with this chain.
45-1:26 For this cause
God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the
natural use into that which is against nature:
45-13:6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending
continually upon this very thing.
45-15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify
God for his mercy; as it is written,
For this cause I will confess to thee among the
Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
45-15:22 For which cause
also I have been much hindered from coming to you.
45-16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark
them which cause divisions and offences contrary
to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
46-4:17 For
this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who
is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into
remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every
church.
46-11:10 For
this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
46-11:30 For
this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
47-4:16 For
which cause we faint not; but though our outward
man perish, yet the inward man is
renewed day by day.
47-5:13 For
whether we be beside ourselves, it is to
God: or whether we be sober, it is for
your cause.
47-7:12 Wherefore,
though I wrote unto you, I did it not
for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for
his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care
for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
49-3:1 For
this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ
for you Gentiles,
49-3:14 For
this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ,
49-5:31 For
