01-GENESIS
01-26:5 Because
that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge,
my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
01-28:6 When
Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and sent him away to Padanaram, to take
him a wife from thence; and that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the
daughters of Canaan;
02-EXODUS
02-6:13 And
the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh
king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
02-19:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the
people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
03-8:35 Therefore
shall ye abide at the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am
commanded.
04-1:53 But
the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be
no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall
keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
04-3:7 And
they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle
of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
04-3:8 And
they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and
the charge of the children of Israel, to do the
service of the tabernacle.
04-3:25 And
the charge of the sons of Gershon in the
tabernacle of the congregation shall be the
tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of
the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-3:28 In
the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
04-3:31 And
their charge shall
be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the
vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the
service thereof.
04-3:32 And
Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall
be chief over the chief of the Levites, and
have the oversight of them that keep the charge
of the sanctuary.
04-3:36 And
under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and
the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and
all that serveth thereto,
04-3:38 But
those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons,
keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger
that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-4:27 At
the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the
Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall
appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
04-4:28 This
is the service of the families of the
sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under
the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
04-4:31 And
this is the charge
of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the
congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars
thereof, and sockets thereof,
04-4:32 And
the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and
their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by
name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge
of their burden.
04-5:19 And
the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say
unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside
to uncleanness with another instead
of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
04-5:21 Then
the priest shall charge the woman with an oath
of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse
and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy
belly to swell;
04-8:26 But
shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to
keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus
shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
04-9:19 And
when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of
Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and
journeyed not.
04-9:23 At
the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of
the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of
the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-18:3 And
they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come
nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye
also, die.
04-18:4 And
they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge
of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle:
and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
04-18:5 And
ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and
the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath
any more upon the children of Israel.
04-18:8 And
the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed
things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the
anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
04-27:19 And
set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give
him a charge in their sight.
04-27:23 And
he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge,
as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
04-31:30 And
of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the
persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of
beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge
of the tabernacle of the LORD.
04-31:47 Even
of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them
unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the
tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-31:49 And
they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge,
and there lacketh not one man of us.
05-3:28 But
charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen
him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to
inherit the land which thou shalt see.
05-11:1 Therefore
thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge,
and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.
05-21:8 Be
merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not
innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge.
And the blood shall be forgiven them.
05-31:14 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call
Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I
may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua
went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
05-31:23 And
he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and
said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of
Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
06-22:3 Ye
have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the LORD your God.
10-14:8 And
the king said unto the woman, Go to thine house, and I will give charge concerning thee.
10-18:5 And
the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all
the captains charge concerning Absalom.
11-2:3 And
keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his
ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his
testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in
all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
11-4:28 Barley
also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where
the officers were, every man
according to his charge.
11-11:28 And
the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of
valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him
ruler over all the charge of the house of
Joseph.
12-7:17 And
the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in
the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came
down to him.
13-9:27 And
they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge
was upon them, and the opening
thereof every morning pertained to
them.
13-9:28 And
certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should
bring them in and out by tale.
13-22:12 Only
the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the
law of the LORD thy God.
13-23:32 And
that they should keep the charge of the
tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge
of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the
service of the house of the LORD.
14-13:11 And
they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and
sweet incense: the shewbread also set
they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the
lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge
of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.
14-30:17 For
there were many in the congregation
that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
16-7:2 That
I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
16-10:32 Also
we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly
with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;
17-3:9 If
it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will
pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.
17-4:8 Also
he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to
destroy them, to shew it unto Esther,
and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to
make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.
18-34:13 Who
hath given him a charge over the earth? or who
hath disposed the whole world?
19-35:11 False
witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
19-91:11 For
he shall give his angels charge over thee, to
keep thee in all thy ways.
22-2:7 I
charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the
roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
22-3:5 I
charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the
roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
22-5:8 I
charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find
my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick
of love.
22-5:9 What
is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among
women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?
22-8:4 I
charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye
stir not up, nor awake my love, until
he please.
23-10:6 I
will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my
wrath will I give him a charge, to take the
spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the
streets.
24-39:11 Now
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge
concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,
24-47:7 How
can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge
against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there hath he appointed it.
24-52:25 He
took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge
of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king’s person,
which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who
mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land,
that were found in the midst of the city.
26-9:1 He
cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
26-40:45 And
he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for
the priests, the keepers of the charge of the
house.
26-40:46 And
the chamber whose prospect is toward
the north is for the priests, the
keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of
Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.
26-44:8 And
ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things:
but ye have set keepers of my charge in my
sanctuary for yourselves.
26-44:11 Yet
they shall be ministers in my sanctuary, having
charge at the gates of the house, and
ministering to the house: they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice
for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister unto them.
26-44:14 But
I will make them keepers of the charge of the
house, for all the service thereof, and for all that shall be done therein.
26-44:15 But
the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel
went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they
shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord
GOD:
26-44:16 They
shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to
minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
26-48:11 It shall be for the priests that are
sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge,
which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites
went astray.
38-3:7 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my
charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and
shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that
stand by.
40-4:6 And
saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is
written, He shall give his angels charge
concerning thee: and in their hands
they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
41-9:25 When
Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit,
saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf
spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and
enter no more into him.
42-4:10 For
it is written, He shall give his angels charge
over thee, to keep thee:
44-7:60 And
he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
44-8:27 And
he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority
under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge
of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
44-16:24 Who,
having received such a charge, thrust them into
the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
44-23:29 Whom
I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid
to his charge worthy of death or of bonds.
45-8:33 Who
shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s
elect? It is God that justifieth.
46-9:18 What
is my reward then? Verily that, when I
preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
52-5:27 I
charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read
unto all the holy brethren.
54-1:3 As
I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that
thou mightest charge some that they teach no
other doctrine,
54-1:18 This
charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy,
according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them
mightest war a good warfare;
54-5:7 And
these things give in charge, that they may be
blameless.
54-5:21 I
charge thee
before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou
observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by
partiality.
54-6:13 I
give thee charge in the sight of God, who
quickeneth all things, and before Christ
Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
54-6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be
not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who
giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
55-4:1 I
charge thee
therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick
and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
55-4:16 At
my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that
it may not be laid to their charge.

10-2 SAMUEL
10-13:25 And
the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he
would not go, but blessed him.
16-NEHEMIAH
16-5:15 But
the former governors that had been before
me were chargeable unto the people, and had
taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their
servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of
God.
47-11:9 And
when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable
to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from
Macedonia supplied: and in all things I
have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
52-2:9 For
ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day,
because we would not be chargeable unto any of
you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
53-3:8 Neither
did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail
night and day, that we might not be chargeable
to any of you:

Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every
son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every daughter ye shall save

the causes between your brethren, and
judge righteously between every man
and his brother, and the stranger that is
with him.

a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife
which he hath taken.
05-27:11 And
Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
06-18:8 And
the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged
them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe
it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in
Shiloh.
06-22:5 But
take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant
of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your
God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave
unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
08-2:9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I

touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
09-14:27 But
Jonathan heard not when his father charged the
people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an
honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
09-14:28 Then
answered one of the people, and said, Thy father straitly charged the people with an oath, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food this day. And the people were
faint.
10-11:19 And
charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast
made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,
10-18:12 And
the man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver in mine hand, yet
would I not put forth mine hand against the king’s son: for in our hearing
the king charged thee and Abishai and Ittai,
saying, Beware that none touch the
young man Absalom.
11-1 KINGS
11-2:1 Now
the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged
Solomon his son, saying,
11-2:43 Why
then hast thou not kept the oath of the LORD, and the commandment that I have charged thee with?
11-13:9 For
so was it charged me by the word of the LORD,
saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou
camest.
12-17:15 And
they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and
his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and
became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning
whom the LORD had charged them, that they
should not do like them.
12-17:35 With
whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged
them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor
serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
13-22:6 Then
he called for Solomon his son, and charged him
to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.
13-22:13 Then
shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments
which the LORD charged Moses with concerning
Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
14-19:9 And
he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the
fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
14-36:23 Thus
saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of
heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build
him an house in Jerusalem, which is in
Judah. Who is there among you of all
his people? The LORD his God be with
him, and let him go up.
15-1:2 Thus
saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the
kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to
build him an house at Jerusalem, which is
in Judah.
16-13:19 And
it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the
sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought
in on the sabbath day.
17-2:10 Esther
had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it.

her people; as Mordecai had charged her: for
Esther did the commandment of Mordecai, like as when she was brought up with
him.
18-1:22 In
all this Job sinned not, nor charged God
foolishly.
18-4:18 Behold,
he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged
with folly:
24-32:13 And
I charged Baruch before them, saying,
24-35:8 Thus
have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he
hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days,
we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
40-9:30 And
their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged
them, saying, See that no man know it.

charged them that they should not make him
known:

charged he his disciples that they should tell
no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
40-17:9 And
as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged
them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again

he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him
away;
41-3:12 And

make him known.
41-5:43 And
he charged them straitly that no man should know
it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

great deal they published it;

the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the
leaven of Herod.
41-8:30 And
he charged them that they should tell no man of
him.

the chief captain then let the young
man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
52-2:11 As
ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged
every one of you, as a father doth his
children,
54-5:16 If
any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not
the church be charged; that it may relieve them
that are widows indeed.
