11-1 KINGS
11-22:24 But
Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the spirit of the LORD
from me to speak unto thee?
14-2 CHRONICLES
14-18:23 Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came
near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek,
and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
18-16:10 They
have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves
together against me.
19-3:7 Arise,
O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek
bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
25-3:30 He
giveth his cheek
to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.
29-1:6 For
a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the
cheek teeth of a great lion.
33-5:1 Now
gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us:
they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
40-5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist
not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek,
turn to him the other also.
42-6:29 And unto him that smiteth thee on
the one cheek
offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-18:3 And
this shall be the priest’s due from the people, from them that offer a
sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep;
and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.
22-SONG
OF
SOLOMON
22-1:10 Thy
cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of
gold.
22-5:13 His
cheeks are
as a bed of spices, as sweet
flowers: his lips like lilies,
dropping sweet smelling myrrh.
23-50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid
not my face from shame and spitting.
25-1:2 She
weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are
on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath
none to comfort her: all her friends
have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-24:5 When
a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be
charged with any business: but he
shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer
up his wife which he hath taken.
21-ECCLESIASTES
21-11:9 Rejoice,
O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer
thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the
sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for
all these things God will bring thee
into judgment.
40-9:2 And, behold, they brought to him a
man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto
the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer;
thy sins be forgiven thee.
40-14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto
them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not
afraid.
41-6:50 For they all saw him, and were
troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
43-16:33 These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be
of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
44-23:11 And the night following the Lord
stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul:
for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also
at Rome.
44-27:22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the
ship.
44-27:25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it
was told me.
44-27:36 Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.

20-15:13 A
merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but
by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
38-ZECHARIAH
38-8:19 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and
the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
38-9:17 For
how great is his goodness, and how
great is his beauty! corn shall make
the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
47-9:7 Every man according as he purposeth
in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful
giver.

18-10:10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk,

04-21:29 Woe
to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that
escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
07-11:24 Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy
god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever
the LORD our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.
11-11:7 Then did Solomon build an high place
for Chemosh,
the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is
before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
11-11:33 Because that they have forsaken me,
and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the
god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes,
and to keep my statutes and my
judgments, as did David his father.
12-23:13 And
the high places that were before
Jerusalem, which were on the right
hand of the mount of corruption,
which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the
abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
24-48:7 For because thou hast trusted in thy
works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall
go forth into captivity with his
priests and his princes together.
24-48:13 And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as
the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.

09-30:14 We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned
Ziklag with fire.
10-8:18 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and
David’s sons were chief rulers.
10-15:18 And all his servants passed on beside
him; and all the Cherethites,
and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men which came after
him from Gath, passed on before the king.
10-20:7 And there went out after him Joab’s
men, and the Cherethites,
and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men: and they went out of Jerusalem, to
pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri.
10-20:23 Now Joab was over all the host of Israel: and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and over the Pelethites:
11-1:38 So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the
prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, went down, and caused
Solomon to ride upon king David’s mule, and brought him to Gihon.
11-1:44 And the king hath sent with him
Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and
the Cherethites,
and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to ride upon the king’s mule:
13-18:17 And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king.
36-2:5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea

02-25:19 And
make one cherub on
the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims
on the two ends thereof.
02-37:8 One
cherub on
the end on this side, and another cherub on the other
end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
10-22:11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was
seen upon the wings of the wind.
11-6:24 And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of
the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
11-6:25 And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims
were of one measure and one size.
11-6:26 The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it
of the other cherub.
11-6:27 And he set the cherubims within the
inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the
wing of the one touched the one wall,
and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched
one another in the midst of the house.
14-3:11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub
was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to
the wing of the other cherub.
14-3:12 And one wing of the other cherub was five
cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
15-2:59 And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, and their
seed, whether they were of Israel:
16-7:61 And these were they which went up also from
Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub,
Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, nor their seed,
whether they were of Israel.
19-18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did
fly upon the wings of the wind.
26-9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel
was gone up from the cherub,
whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man
clothed with linen, which had the
writer’s inkhorn by his side;
26-10:2 And he spake unto the man clothed
with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from
between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my
sight.
26-10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up
from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the
house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the
brightness of the LORD’S glory.
26-10:7 And one cherub
stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims
unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into
the hands of him that was clothed with
linen: who took it, and went out.
26-10:9 And when I looked, behold the four
wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by
another cherub: and
the appearance of the wheels was as
the colour of a beryl stone.
26-10:14 And every one had four faces: the
first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the
face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
26-28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of
God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
26-28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will
destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
26-41:18 And it was made with cherubims and
palm trees, so that a palm tree was between
a cherub and a
cherub; and every cherub had two faces;

15-2:59 And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, and their

Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub,
Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, nor their seed,
whether they were of Israel.

01-3:24 So he drove out the man; and he
placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way,
to keep the way of the tree of life.
02-25:18 And
thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy
seat.
02-25:19 And
make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub
on the other end: even of the mercy
seat shall ye make the cherubims on
the two ends thereof.
02-25:20 And
the cherubims
shall stretch forth their wings on
high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the
mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
02-25:22 And
there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy
seat, from between the two cherubims which are
upon the ark of the testimony, of all things
which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
02-26:1 Moreover
thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten
curtains of fine twined linen, and
blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt
thou make them.
02-26:31 And
thou shalt make a vail of blue, and
purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:
02-36:8 And
every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made
ten curtains of fine twined linen,
and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he
them.
02-36:35 And he
made a vail of blue, and purple, and
scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning
work.
02-37:7 And he
made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he
them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
02-37:8 One
cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub
on the other end on that side: out of
the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
02-37:9 And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the
mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even to the mercy seatward were the faces of the cherubims.
04-7:89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle
of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking
unto him from off the mercy seat that was
upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
09-4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that
they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts,
which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli,
Hophni and Phinehas, were there with
the ark of the covenant of God.
10-6:2 And David arose, and went with all
the people that were with him from
Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by
the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between
the cherubims.
11-6:23 And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten
cubits high.
11-6:25 And the other cherub was ten
cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.
11-6:27 And he set the cherubims within the inner house:
and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings
touched one another in the midst of the house.
11-6:28 And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
11-6:29 And he carved all the walls of the
house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and
without.
11-6:32 The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them
carvings of cherubims
and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
11-6:35 And he carved thereon cherubims
and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
11-7:29 And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the
lions and oxen were certain additions
made of thin work.
11-7:36 For on the plates of the ledges
thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the
proportion of every one, and additions round about.
11-8:6 And the priests brought in the ark
of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to
the most holy place, even under the
wings of the cherubims.
11-8:7 For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the
staves thereof above.
12-19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD,
and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou
art the God, even thou alone, of all
the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
13-13:6 And David went up, and all Israel, to
Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim,
which belonged to Judah, to bring up
thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims,
whose name is called on it.
13-28:18 And for the altar of incense refined
gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the
covenant of the LORD.
14-3:7 He overlaid also the house, the
beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and
graved cherubims on
the walls.
14-3:10 And in the most holy house he made
two cherubims of
image work, and overlaid them with gold.
14-3:11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five
cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to
the wing of the other cherub.
14-3:13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth
twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14-3:14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and
fine linen, and wrought cherubims
thereon.
14-5:7 And the priests brought in the ark
of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into
the most holy place, even under the
wings of the cherubims:
14-5:8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves
thereof above.
19-80:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou
that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims,
shine forth.
19-99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people
tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
23-37:16 O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that
dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made
heaven and earth.
26-10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the
firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a
sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
26-10:2 And he spake unto the man clothed
with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from
between the cherubims,
and scatter them over the city. And
he went in in my sight.
26-10:3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when
the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
26-10:6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man
clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the
cherubims;
then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
26-10:7 And one cherub stretched forth his
hand from between the cherubims
unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that
was clothed with linen: who took it, and
went out.
26-10:8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man’s hand
under their wings.
26-10:9 And when I looked, behold the four
wheels by the cherubims,
one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel
by another cherub: and the appearance of the
wheels was as the colour of a beryl
stone.
26-10:15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
26-10:16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to
mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
26-10:18 Then the glory of the LORD departed
from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
26-10:19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from
the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every
one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’S house; and the glory
of the God of Israel was over them
above.
26-10:20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the
river of Chebar; and I knew that they were
the cherubims.
26-11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside
them; and the glory of the God of Israel was
over them above.
26-41:18 And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub
and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;
26-41:20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
26-41:25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of
the porch without.
58-9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the
mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

and of the hazel and chesnut
tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
26-31:8 The cedars in the garden of God
could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches;
nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

12-12:9 But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it
beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD:
and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the
LORD.
12-12:10 And it was so, when they saw that there
was much money in the chest, that the king’s
scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money
that was found in the house of the LORD.
14-24:8 And at the king’s commandment they
made a chest, and set it without at the gate of
the house of the LORD.
14-24:10 And all the princes and all the
people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest,
until they had made an end.
14-24:11 Now it came to pass, that at what
time the chest was brought unto the king’s
office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s
officer came and emptied the chest, and took it,
and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money
in abundance.
