head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal
as a cloke.

shall clap their
hands.

01-GENESIS
01-22:3 And
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his
young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave
the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which
God had told him.
01-34:3 And
his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob,
and he loved the damsel, and spake kindly unto the damsel.
04-NUMBERS
04-16:31 And
it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the
ground clave asunder that was under them:
07-15:19 But
God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water
thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived:
wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.
08-1:14 And
they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law;
but Ruth clave unto her.
09-6:14 And
the cart came into the field of Joshua, a Bethshemite, and stood there, where there was a great stone: and they clave the wood of the cart, and offered the kine a
burnt offering unto the LORD.
10-20:2 So
every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri: but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.
10-23:10 He
arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory
that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
11-11:2 Of
the nations concerning which the LORD
said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall
they come in unto you: for surely
they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
12-18:6 For
he clave to the LORD, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments,
which the LORD commanded Moses.
16-10:29 They
clave to their brethren, their nobles, and
entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given

LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

certain men clave unto him, and believed: among
the which was Dionysius the

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-14:6 And
every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth
the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.
27-DANIEL
27-4:33 The
same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from
men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven,
till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers,
and his nails like birds’ claws.
38-11:16 For,
lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which
shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one,
nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall
eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws
in pieces.

11-1 KINGS
11-7:46 In
the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay
ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
14-2 CHRONICLES
14-4:17 In
the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay
ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.
18-4:19 How
much less in them that dwell in
houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
18-10:9 Remember,
I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay;
and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
18-13:12 Your
remembrances are like unto ashes,
your bodies to bodies of clay.
18-27:16 Though
he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;
18-33:6 Behold,
I am according to thy wish in God’s stead:
I also am formed out of the clay.
18-38:14 It
is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
19-40:2 He
brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
23-29:16 Surely
your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He
made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no
understanding?
23-41:25 I
have raised up one from the north,
and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and
he shall come upon princes as upon morter,
and as the potter treadeth clay.
23-45:9 Woe
unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let
the potsherd strive with the
potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to
him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
23-64:8 But
now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay,
and thou our potter; and we all are the
work of thy hand.
24-18:4 And
the vessel that he made of clay was marred in
the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to
the potter to make it.
24-18:6 O
house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold,
as the clay is
in the potter’s hand, so are ye
in mine hand, O house of Israel.
24-43:9 Take
great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the clay
in the brickkiln, which is at the
entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
27-2:33 His
legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
27-2:34 Thou
sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon
his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
27-2:35 Then
was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver,
and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the
summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found
for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and
filled the whole earth.
27-2:41 And
whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there
shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron
mixed with miry clay.
27-2:42 And
as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the
kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
27-2:43 And
whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay,
they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave
one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
27-2:45 Forasmuch
as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and
that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay,
the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall
come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain,
and the interpretation thereof sure.
34-3:14 Draw
thee waters for the siege, fortify thy strong holds: go into clay, and tread the morter, make strong the brickkiln.
35-2:6 Shall
not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against
him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that
which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
43-9:6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on
the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he
anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
43-9:11 He answered and said, A man that is
called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes,
and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed,
and I received sight.
43-9:14 And it was the sabbath day when
Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
43-9:15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him
how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
45-9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour,
and another unto dishonour?

01-GENESIS
01-7:2 Of
every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by
sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and
his female.
01-7:8 Of
clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean,
and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
01-8:20 And
Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean
beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered
burnt offerings on the altar.
01-35:2 Then
Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and
change your garments:
03-4:12 Even
the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn
him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.
03-6:11 And
he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the
ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
03-7:19 And
the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing
shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all
that be clean shall eat thereof.
03-10:10 And
that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
03-10:14 And
the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean
place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are given out of the sacrifices of
peace offerings of the children of Israel.
03-11:36 Nevertheless
a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty
of water, shall be clean: but that which
toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
03-11:37 And
if any part of their carcase fall
upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
03-11:47 To
make a difference between the unclean and the clean,
and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
03-12:8 And
if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two
young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin
offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
03-13:6 And
the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the
plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but
a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
03-13:13 Then
the priest shall consider: and, behold, if
the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean
that hath the plague: it is all
turned white: he is clean.
03-13:17 And
the priest shall see him: and, behold, if
the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean
that hath the plague: he is clean.
03-13:23 But
if the bright spot stay in his place, and
spread not, it is a burning boil;
and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:28 And
if the bright spot stay in his place, and
spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat
dark; it is a rising of the burning,
and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it
is an inflammation of the burning.
03-13:34 And
in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin,
nor be in sight deeper than the skin;
then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and
he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
03-13:37 But
if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that
there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean:
and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:39 Then
the priest shall look: and, behold, if the
bright spots in the skin of their flesh be
darkish white; it is a freckled
spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.
03-13:40 And
the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
03-13:41 And
he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.
03-13:58 And
the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the
plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and
shall be clean.
03-13:59 This
is the law of the plague of leprosy
in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of
skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it
unclean.
03-14:4 Then
shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive
and clean,
and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
03-14:7 And
he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times,
and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the
living bird loose into the open field.
03-14:8 And
he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair,
and wash himself in water, that he may be clean:
and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his
tent seven days.
03-14:9 But
it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head
and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he
shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
03-14:11 And
the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation:
03-14:20 And
the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar:
and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
03-14:48 And
if the priest shall come in, and look upon
it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house
was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
03-14:53 But
he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make
an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.
03-14:57 To
teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean:
this is the law of leprosy.
03-15:8 And
if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean;
then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself
in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:13 And
when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to
himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh
in running water, and shall be clean.
03-15:28 But
if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days,
and after that she shall be clean.
03-16:30 For
on that day shall the priest make an
atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye
may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
03-17:15 And
every soul that eateth that which died of
itself, or that which was torn with
beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both
wash his clothes, and bathe himself in
water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
03-20:25 Ye
shall therefore put difference between clean
beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean:
and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any
manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from
you as unclean.
03-22:4 What
man soever of the seed of Aaron is a
leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he
be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
03-22:7 And
when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and
shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.
03-23:22 And
when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou
reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt
leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.
04-5:28 And
if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then
she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
04-8:7 And
thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon
them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
04-9:13 But
the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep
the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people:
because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that
man shall bear his sin.
04-18:11 And
this is thine; the heave offering of
their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given
them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute
for ever: every one that is clean in thy house
shall eat of it.
04-18:13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the
land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it.
04-19:9 And
a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation
of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.
04-19:12 He
shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall
be clean: but if he purify not himself the third
day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
04-19:18 And
a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the
vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a
bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:
04-19:19 And
the clean person
shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day:
and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe
himself in water, and shall be clean at even.
04-31:23 Every
thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean:
nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that
abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.
04-31:24 And
ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp.
05-12:15 Notwithstanding
thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after,
according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the
unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the
roebuck, and as of the hart.
05-12:22 Even
as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and
the clean shall eat of them alike.
05-14:11 Of all clean
birds ye shall eat.
05-14:20 But of all clean
fowls ye may eat.
05-15:22 Thou
shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean
person shall eat it alike, as the
roebuck, and as the hart.
05-23:10 If
there be among you any man, that is not clean by
reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out
of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
06-3:17 And
the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry
ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry
ground, until all the people were passed clean
over Jordan.
06-4:1 And
it came to pass, when all the people were clean
passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,
06-4:11 And
it came to pass, when all the people were clean
passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed over, and the priests, in the
presence of the people.
09-20:26 Nevertheless
Saul spake not any thing that day: for he thought, Something hath befallen him,
he is not clean;
surely he is not clean.
12-5:10 And
Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times,
and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
12-5:12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of
Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
12-5:13 And
his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not
have done it? how much rather then,
when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?
12-5:14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was
