03-21:20 Or crookbackt,
or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or
hath his stones broken;

05-32:5 They have corrupted themselves,
their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation.
18-26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the
heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked
serpent.
19-125:5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the
workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
20-2:15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
21-1:15 That
which is crooked cannot be made straight:
and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
21-7:13 Consider the work of God: for who
can make that straight, which he hath
made crooked?
23-27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore
and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even
leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall
slay the dragon that is in the sea.
23-40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and
every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked
shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
23-42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in
paths that they have not known: I
will make darkness light before them, and crooked
things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
23-45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the
gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
23-59:8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings:
they have made them crooked paths: whosoever
goeth therein shall not know peace.
25-3:9 He hath inclosed my ways with hewn
stone, he hath made my paths crooked.
42-3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and
every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked
shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall
be made smooth;
50-2:15 That ye may be blameless and
harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as
lights in the world;

40-10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
40-16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me, let
him deny himself, and take up his cross, and
follow me.
40-27:32 And as they came out, they found a
man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
40-27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the
temple, and buildest it in three
days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
40-27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot
save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
41-8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he
said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up
his cross, and follow me.
41-10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him,
and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou
hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take
up the cross, and follow me.
41-15:21 And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian,
who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to
bear his cross.
41-15:30 Save thyself, and come down from the cross.
41-15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend
now from the cross, that we may see and believe.
And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
42-9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will
come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross
daily, and follow me.
42-14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
42-23:26 And as they led him away, they laid
hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they
laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
43-19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in
the Hebrew Golgotha:
43-19:19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross.
And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
43-19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister,
Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary
Magdalene.
43-19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was
the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an
high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
46-1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize,
but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
46-1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us
which are saved it is the power of God.
48-5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach
circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
48-6:12 As many as desire to make a fair
shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should
suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
48-6:14 But God forbid that I should glory,
save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
49-2:16 And that he might reconcile both
unto God in one body by the cross, having slain
the enmity thereby:
50-2:8 And being found in fashion as a
man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
50-3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told
you often, and now tell you even weeping, that
they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
51-1:20 And, having made peace through the
blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all
things unto himself; by him, I say, whether
they be things in earth, or things in
heaven.
51-2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances
that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way,
nailing it to his cross;
58-12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and
finisher of our faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

09-2:36 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine
house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of
bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices,
that I may eat a piece of bread.

40-26:34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto
thee, That this night, before the cock crow,
thou shalt deny me thrice.
40-26:75 And Peter remembered the word of
Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow,
thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.
41-14:30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I
say unto thee, That this day, even in
this night, before the cock crow twice, thou
shalt deny me thrice.
41-14:72 And the second time the cock crew.
And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he
thought thereon, he wept.
42-22:34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the
cock shall not crow this day, before that thou
shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
42-22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon
Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him,
Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
43-13:38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay
down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

01-49:26 The blessings of thy father have
prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting
hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown
of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
02-25:11 And
thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it,
and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round
about.
02-25:24 And
thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof
round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.
02-30:4 And
two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown
of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the
staves to bear it withal.
02-37:2 And
he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.
02-37:11 And
he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown
of gold round about.
02-37:12 Also
he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.
02-37:26 And
he overlaid it with pure gold, both the
top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made
unto it a crown of gold round about.
02-37:27 And
he made two rings of gold for it under the crown
thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for
the staves to bear it withal.
02-39:30 And
they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a
writing, like to the engravings of a

03-8:9 And he put the mitre upon his head;
also upon the mitre, even upon his
forefront, did he put the golden plate, the holy crown;
as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-21:12 Neither shall he go out of the

the head.
10-1:10 So I stood upon him, and slew him,
because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took
the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
10-12:30 And he took their king’s crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious
stones: and it was set on David’s
head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
10-14:25 But in all Israel there was none to
be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to
the crown of his head there was no blemish in
him.
12-11:12 And he brought forth the king’s son,
and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made
him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save
the king.
13-20:2 And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to
weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious
stones in it; and it was set upon David’s head: and he brought also exceeding
much spoil out of the city.
14-23:11 Then they brought out the king’s son,
and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him
king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king.
17-1:11 To bring Vashti the queen before the
king with the crown royal, to shew the people
and the princes her beauty: for she was fair
to look on.
17-2:17 And the king loved Esther above all
the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the
virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her

17-6:8 Let the royal apparel be brought
which the king useth to wear, and the
horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown
royal which is set upon his head:
17-8:15 And Mordecai went out from the
presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple:
and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.
18-2:7 So went Satan forth from the
presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot
unto his crown.
18-19:9 He hath stripped me of my glory, and
taken the crown from my head.
18-31:36 Surely I would take it upon my
shoulder, and bind it as a crown
to me.
19-21:3 For thou preventest him with the
blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of
pure gold on his head.
19-89:39 Thou hast made void the covenant of
thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.
19-132:18 His enemies will I clothe with shame:
but upon himself shall his crown flourish.
20-4:9 She shall give to thine head an

20-17:6 Children’s children are the crown
of old men; and the glory of children are
their fathers.
20-27:24 For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown
endure to every generation?
22-3:11 Go forth,
O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of
his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
23-3:17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a
scab the crown of the head of the daughters of
Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
23-28:1 Woe to the crown
of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of
them that are overcome with wine!
23-28:3 The crown
of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
23-28:5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts
be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of
beauty, unto the residue of his people,
23-62:3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal
diadem in the hand of thy God.
24-2:16 Also the children of Noph and
Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head.
24-13:18 Say unto the king and to the queen,

of your glory.
24-48:45 They that fled stood under the shadow

the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
25-5:16 The crown
is fallen from our head: woe unto us,
that we have sinned!
26-16:12 And I put a jewel on thy forehead,
and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown
upon thine head.
26-21:26 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the
diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that
is low, and abase him that is high.
38-9:16 And the LORD their God shall save
them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown,
lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
40-27:29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the
knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
41-15:17 And they clothed him with purple, and
platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
43-19:2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,
43-19:5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!
46-9:25 And every man that striveth for the
mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown;
but we an incorruptible.
50-4:1 Therefore, my brethren, dearly
beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so
stand fast in the Lord, my dearly
beloved.
52-2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of
rejoicing? Are not even ye in the
presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
55-4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me
a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all
them also that love his appearing.

receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath
promised to them that love him.
60-5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall
appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that
fadeth not away.
66-2:10 Fear none of those things which thou
shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some
of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten
days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
66-3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that
fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
66-6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse:
and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown
was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
66-12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her
head a crown of twelve stars:
66-14:14 And I looked, and behold a white
cloud, and upon the cloud one sat
like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown,
and in his hand a sharp sickle.

22-3:11 Go forth,
O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his

34-3:17 Thy crowned

the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away,
and their place is not known where they are.
55-2:5 And if a man also strive for
masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
58-2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a

40-26:2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son
of man is betrayed to be crucified.
40-27:22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I
do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They
all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
40-27:23 And the governor said, Why, what evil
hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
40-27:26 Then released he Barabbas unto them:
and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
40-27:35 And they crucified
him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture
did they cast lots.
40-27:38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another
on the left.
40-27:44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
40-28:5 And the angel answered and said unto
the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
41-15:15 And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto
them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
41-15:24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots
upon them, what every man should take.
41-15:25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
41-15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend
now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
41-16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not
affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified:
he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
42-23:23 And they were instant with loud
voices, requiring that he might be crucified.
And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
42-23:33 And when they were come to the place,
which is called Calvary, there they crucified
him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.
42-24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be
delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified,
and the third day rise again.
42-24:20 And how the chief priests and our
rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
43-19:16 Then delivered he him therefore unto
them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and
led him away.
43-19:18 Where they crucified
him, and two others with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
43-19:20 This title then read many of the
Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified
was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
43-19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four
parts, to every soldier a part; and also his
coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
43-19:32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the
legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified
with him.
43-19:41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre,
wherein was never man yet laid.
44-2:23 Him, being delivered by the
determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked
hands have crucified and slain:
44-2:36 Therefore let all the house of
Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
44-4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all
the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here
before you whole.
45-6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him,
that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not
serve sin.
46-1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of
Paul?
46-1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto
the Greeks foolishness;
46-2:2 For I determined not to know any
thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
46-2:8 Which none of the princes of this
world knew: for had they known it, they
would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
47-13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power
of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of
God toward you.
48-2:20 I am crucified
with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life
which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved
me, and gave himself for me.
48-3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath
bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus
Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified
among you?
48-5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
48-6:14 But God forbid that I should glory,
save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
