01-GENESIS
01-7:23 And
every living substance was destroyed which was
upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and
the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed
from the earth: and Noah only remained alive,
and they that were with him in
the ark.
01-13:10 And
Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the
LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the
land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.
01-19:29 And
it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities
of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the
overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
01-34:30 And
Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among
the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather
themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.
02-10:7 And
Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us?
let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet
that Egypt is destroyed?
02-22:20 He
that sacrificeth unto any god, save
unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
04-21:3 And
the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and
they utterly destroyed them and their cities:
and he called the name of the place Hormah.
05-1:44 And
the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased
you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
05-2:12 The
Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them,
when they had destroyed them from before them,
and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which
the LORD gave unto them.
05-2:21 A
people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them,
and dwelt in their stead:
05-2:22 As
he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they
succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
05-2:23 And
the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto
Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)
05-2:34 And
we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed
the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to
remain:
05-3:6 And
we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon
king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every
city.
05-4:3 Your
eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that
followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed
them from among you.
05-4:26 I
call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon
utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye
shall not prolong your days upon it,
but shall utterly be destroyed.
05-7:20 Moreover
the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and
hide themselves from thee, be destroyed.
05-7:23 But
the LORD thy God shall deliver them unto thee, and shall destroy them with a
mighty destruction, until they be destroyed.
05-7:24 And
he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name
from under heaven: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, until thou
have destroyed them.
05-9:8 Also
in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to
have destroyed you.
05-9:20 And
the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed
him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.
05-11:4 And
what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots;
how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after
you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;
05-12:30 Take
heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not
after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will
I do likewise.
05-28:20 The
LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou
settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed,
and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby
thou hast forsaken me.
05-28:24 The
LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come
down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
05-28:45 Moreover
all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake
thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou
hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments
and his statutes which he commanded thee:
05-28:48 Therefore
shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in
hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron
upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.
05-28:51 And
he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also
shall not leave thee either corn,
wine, or oil, or the increase of thy
kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed
thee.
05-28:61 Also
every sickness, and every plague, which is
not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee,
until thou be destroyed.
05-31:4 And
the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the
Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.
06-2:10 For
we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came
out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and
Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
06-6:21 And
they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman,
young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
06-8:26 For
Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he stretched out the spear, until he
had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of Ai.
06-10:1 Now
it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had
taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he
had done to Jericho and her king, so he had done to Ai and her king; and how
the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;
06-10:28 And
that day Joshua took Makkedah, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the
king thereof he utterly destroyed, them, and all
the souls that were therein; he let
none remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto the king of
Jericho.
06-10:35 And
they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the
souls that were therein he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done
to Lachish.
06-10:37 And
they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof,
and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had
done to Eglon; but destroyed it utterly, and all
the souls that were therein.
06-10:39 And
he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof; and they smote
them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed
all the souls that were therein; he
left none remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir, and to the
king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and to her king.
06-10:40 So
Joshua smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale,
and of the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel
commanded.
06-11:12 And
all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them, did Joshua take, and
smote them with the edge of the sword, and
he utterly destroyed them, as Moses the
servant of the LORD commanded.
06-11:14 And
all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for
a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword,
until they had destroyed them, neither left they
any to breathe.
06-11:21 And
at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from
Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from
all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed
them utterly with their cities.
06-23:15 Therefore
it shall come to pass, that as all
good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall
the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed
you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
06-24:8 And
I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side
Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might
possess their land; and I destroyed them from
before you.
07-1:17 And
Judah went with Simeon his brother, and they slew the Canaanites that inhabited
Zephath, and utterly destroyed it. And the name
of the city was called Hormah.

they encamped against them, and destroyed the
increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for
Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
07-20:21 And
the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed
down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men.
07-20:25 And
Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel
again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword.
07-20:35 And
the LORD smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five
thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.
07-20:42 Therefore
they turned their backs before the
men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and
them which came out of the cities
they destroyed in the midst of them.
07-21:16 Then
the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that
remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of
Benjamin?
07-21:17 And
they said, There must be an
inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.
09-5:6 But
the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the coasts thereof.
09-15:8 And
he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
09-15:9 But
Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen,
and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that
was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
09-15:15 And
Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared
the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and
the rest we have utterly destroyed.
09-15:20 And
Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone
the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and
have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
09-15:21 But
the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which
should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice
unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
10-11:1 And
it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his
servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed
the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at
Jerusalem.
10-21:5 And
they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of
Israel,
10-22:38 I
have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them;
and turned not again until I had consumed them.
10-24:16 And
when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD
repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed
the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by
the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.
11-15:13 And
also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
11-15:29 And
it came to pass, when he reigned, that he
smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that breathed,
until he had destroyed him, according unto the
saying of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite:
12-10:17 And
when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till
he had destroyed him, according to the saying of
the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
12-10:28 Thus
Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.
12-11:1 And
when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.
12-13:7 Neither
did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots,
and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed
them, and had made them like the dust by threshing.
12-19:12 Have
the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed; as Gozan,
and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Thelasar?
12-19:17 Of
a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed
the nations and their lands,
12-19:18 And
have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone:
therefore they have destroyed them.
12-21:3 For
he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made
a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and
served them.
12-21:9 But
they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the
nations whom the LORD destroyed before the
children of Israel.
13-4:41 And
these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote
their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in
their rooms: because there was pasture
there for their flocks.
13-5:25 And
they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after
the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed
before them.
13-20:1 And
it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out
to battle, Joab led forth the power of
the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and
besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.
13-21:12 Either
three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed
before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of
the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD
destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself
what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
13-21:15 And
God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the
LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the
angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
14-14:13 And

before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.
14-15:6 And
nation was destroyed of nation, and city of
city: for God did vex them with all adversity.
14-20:10 And
now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest
not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned
from them, and destroyed them not;
14-22:10 But
when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.
14-24:23 And
it came to pass at the end of the year, that
the host of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and
Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the
people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of
Damascus.
14-31:1 Now
when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities
of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down
the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also
and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed
them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his
possession, into their own cities.
14-32:14 Who
was there among all the gods of those
nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that
could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to
deliver you out of mine hand?
14-33:9 So
Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom
the LORD had destroyed before the children of
Israel.
14-34:11 Even
to the artificers and builders gave they it,
to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings, and to floor the houses which
the kings of Judah had destroyed.
14-36:19 And
they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt
all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed
all the goodly vessels thereof.
15-4:15 That
search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou
find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and
that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for which cause was
this city destroyed.
15-5:12 But
after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them

Babylon.
17-3:9 If
it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed:
and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have
the charge of the business, to bring it into
the king’s treasuries.
17-4:14 For
if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from
another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for
such a time as this?
17-7:4 For
we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed,
to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen,
I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s
damage.
17-9:6 And
in Shushan the palace the Jews slew and destroyed
five hundred men.
17-9:12 And
the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace, and
the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces?
now what is thy petition? and it
shall be granted thee: or what is thy
request further? and it shall be done.
18-4:20 They
are destroyed from morning to evening: they
perish for ever without any regarding it.
18-19:10 He
hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone:
and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
18-34:25 Therefore
he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them
in the night, so that they are destroyed.
19-9:5 Thou
hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed
the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
19-9:6 O
thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with
them.
19-11:3 If
the foundations be destroyed, what can the
righteous do?
19-37:38 But
the transgressors shall be destroyed together:
the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
19-73:27 For,
lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
19-78:38 But
he, being full of compassion, forgave
their iniquity, and destroyed them not:
yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
19-78:45 He
sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
19-78:47 He
destroyed their vines with hail, and their
sycomore trees with frost.
19-92:7 When
the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do
flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
19-137:8 O
daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed;
happy shall he be, that rewardeth
thee as thou hast served us.
20-13:13 Whoso
despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he
that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
20-13:20 He
that walketh with wise men shall be
wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
20-13:23 Much
food is in the tillage of the poor:
but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
20-29:1 He,
that being often reproved hardeneth his neck,
shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without
remedy.
23-9:16 For
the leaders of this people cause them to
err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
23-10:27 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that his
burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy
neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of
the anointing.
23-14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and
destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his
prisoners?
23-14:20 Thou
shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be
renowned.
23-26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise:
therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them,
and made all their memory to perish.
23-34:2 For
the indignation of the LORD is upon
all nations, and his fury upon all
their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he
hath delivered them to the slaughter.
23-37:12 Have
the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan,
and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?
23-37:19 And
have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone:
therefore they have destroyed them.
23-48:19 Thy
seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel
thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed
from before me.
24-12:10 Many
pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have
trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate
wilderness.
24-22:20 Go
up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages:
for all thy lovers are destroyed.
24-48:4 Moab
is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry
to be heard.
24-48:8 And
the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley
also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed,
as the LORD hath spoken.
24-48:42 And
Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath
magnified himself against the LORD.
24-51:8 Babylon
is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her;
take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
24-51:55 Because
the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out
of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of
their voice is uttered:
25-2:5 The
Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her
palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and
hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.
25-2:6 And
he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed
his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths
to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the
king and the priest.
25-2:9 Her
gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed
and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is
no more; her prophets also find
no vision from the LORD.
26-26:17 And
they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that
wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in
the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!
26-27:32 And
in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over
thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
26-30:8 And
they shall know that I am the LORD,
when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when
all her helpers shall be destroyed.

the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of
the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the
multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
27-2:44 And
in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which
shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall
not be left to other people, but it
shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for
ever.
27-6:26 I
make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before
the God of Daniel: for he is the
living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed,
and his dominion shall be even unto
the end.
27-7:11 I
beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I
beheld even till the beast was slain,
and his body destroyed, and given to the burning
flame.
27-7:14 And
there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people,
nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his
kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
27-11:20 Then
shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
28-4:6 My
people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt
be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also
forget thy children.
28-10:8 The
high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed:
the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to
the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
28-13:9 O
Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
30-2:9 Yet
destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose
height was like the height of the
cedars, and he was strong as the
oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and
his roots from beneath.
36-3:6 I
have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets
waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed,
so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.
40-22:7 But
when the king heard thereof, he was
wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed
those murderers, and burned up their city.
