01-6:17 And,
behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters
upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in
the earth shall die.
01-9:13 I
do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for
a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
01-11:6 And
the LORD said, Behold, the people is one,
and they have all one language; and this they begin to do:
and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
01-16:6 But
Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is
in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee.
And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.
01-18:5 And
I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall
pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
01-18:17 And
the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
01-18:19 For
I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and
they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do
justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath
spoken of him.
01-18:25 That
be far from thee to do after this manner, to
slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the
wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
01-18:29 And
he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found
there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.
01-18:30 And
he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord
be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And
he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
01-19:7 And
said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
01-19:8 Behold
now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring
them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these
men do nothing; for therefore came they under
the shadow of my roof.
01-19:22 Haste
thee, escape thither; for I cannot do any thing
till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
01-21:23 Now
therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me,
nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but
according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast
sojourned.
01-22:12 And
he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do
thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast
not withheld thy son, thine only son from
me.
01-24:42 And
I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if
now thou do prosper my way which I go:
01-25:32 And
Esau said, Behold, I am at the point
to die: and what profit shall this birthright do
to me?
01-26:29 That
thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched
thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away
in peace: thou art now the blessed of
the LORD.
01-27:37 And
Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all
his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I
sustained him: and what shall I do now unto
thee, my son?
01-27:46 And
Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth:
if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land,
what good shall my life do me?
01-30:31 And
he said, What shall I give thee? And Jacob said, Thou shalt not give me any
thing: if thou wilt do this thing for me, I will
again feed and keep thy flock.
01-31:16 For
all the riches which God hath taken from our father, that is ours, and our children’s: now then, whatsoever God hath said
unto thee, do.
01-31:29 It
is in the power of my hand to do you hurt: but
the God of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that
thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
01-31:43 And
Laban answered and said unto Jacob, These

thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make

give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

the young man deferred not to do the thing,
because he had delight in Jacob’s daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father.

Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren
feed the flock in Shechem? come, and
I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.
01-39:9 There is none greater in this house than
I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
01-39:11 And
it came to pass about this time, that Joseph
went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house
there within.
01-40:8 And
they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not
interpretations belong to God? tell
me them, I pray you.
01-41:9 Then
spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do
remember my faults this day:
01-41:25 And
Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.
01-41:28 This
is the thing which I have spoken unto
Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
01-41:34 Let
Pharaoh do this,
and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of
the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
01-41:55 And
when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread:
and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do.
01-42:1 Now
when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?
01-42:18 And
Joseph said unto them the third day, This do,
and live; for I fear God:
01-42:22 And
Reuben answered them, saying, Spake I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and ye would not hear?
therefore, behold, also his blood is required.
01-43:11 And
their father Israel said unto them, If it
must be so now, do this; take of the best
fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little
balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
01-44:7 And
they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these words? God forbid that thy
servants should do according to this thing:
01-44:17 And
he said, God forbid that I should do so: but the man in whose hand the cup is
found, he shall be my servant; and as for you, get you up in peace unto your
father.
01-45:17 And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do
ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;
01-45:19 Now
thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons
out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring
your father, and come.
01-47:30 But
I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me
in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as
thou hast said.
02-1:16 And
he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to
the Hebrew women, and see them upon
the stools; if it be a son, then ye
shall kill him: but if it be a
daughter, then she shall live.
02-3:20 And
I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let
you go.
02-4:15 And
thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy
mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
02-4:17 And
thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
02-4:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put
in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people
go.
02-5:4 And
the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do
ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your
burdens.
02-5:17 But
he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go
and do
sacrifice to the LORD.
02-6:1 Then
the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let
them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
02-8:8 Then
Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may
take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go,
that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.
02-8:26 And
Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we
shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall
we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they
not stone us?
02-9:5 And
the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.
02-15:26 And
said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and
wilt do that which is right in his sight, and
wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none
of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
02-17:2 Wherefore
the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And
Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do
ye tempt the LORD?
02-17:4 And
Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do
unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
02-18:16 When
they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and
I do make them
know the statutes of God, and his laws.
02-18:20 And
thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein
they must walk, and the work that they must do.
02-18:23 If
thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure,
and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
02-19:8 And
all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we
will do. And Moses returned the words of the
people unto the LORD.
02-20:9 Six
days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
02-20:10 But
the seventh day is the sabbath of the
LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
02-21:7 And
if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the
menservants do.
02-21:11 And
if he do not these three unto her, then shall
she go out free without money.
02-22:30 Likewise
shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall
be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
02-23:2 Thou
shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to
decline after many to wrest judgment:
02-23:12 Six
days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh
day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy
handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
02-23:22 But
if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all
that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto
thine adversaries.
02-23:24 Thou
shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do
after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down
their images.
02-24:3 And
Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the
judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words
which the LORD hath said will we do.
02-24:7 And
he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and
they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do,
and be obedient.
02-24:14 And
he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you:
and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with
you: if any man have any matters to do, let him
come unto them.
02-29:1 And
this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in
the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
02-29:35 And
thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons,
according to all things which I have
commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
02-29:41 And
the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do
thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the
drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
02-31:11 And
the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.
02-32:14 And
the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do
unto his people.
02-32:18 And
he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing
do I hear.
02-33:5 For
the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up
into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy
ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do
unto thee.
02-33:17 And
the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing
also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know
thee by name.
02-34:10 And
he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the
earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for
it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
02-34:15 Lest
thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring
after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their
gods, and one call thee, and thou eat
of his sacrifice;
02-35:1 And
Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and
said unto them, These are the words
which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should
do them.
02-35:19 The
cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the
priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.
02-35:35 Them
hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the
engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in
purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and
of those that devise cunning work.
02-36:2 And
Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart
the LORD had put wisdom, even every
one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
02-39:1 And
of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded
Moses.
02-39:41 The
cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron
the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.
03-4:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance
against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning
things which ought not to be done, and shall do
against any of them:
03-4:3 If
the priest that is anointed do sin according to
the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a
young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
03-4:20 And
he shall do with the bullock as he did with the
bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with
this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven
them.
03-5:1 And
if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
03-5:4 Or
if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips
to do evil, or to do
good, whatsoever it be that a man
shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of
these.
03-8:34 As
he hath done this day, so the LORD
hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for
you.
03-9:6 And
Moses said, This is the thing which
the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the
glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
03-10:9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons
with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever
throughout your generations:
03-16:15 Then
shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the
bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
03-16:16 And
he shall make an atonement for the holy place,
because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their
transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do
for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst
of their uncleanness.
03-16:29 And
this shall be a statute for ever unto
you: that in the seventh month, on
the tenth day of the month, ye shall
afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country,
or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
03-18:3 After
the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan,
whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither
shall ye walk in their ordinances.
03-18:4 Ye
shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances,
to walk therein: I am the LORD your
God.
03-18:5 Ye
shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
03-18:25 And
the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the
iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
03-19:15 Ye
shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou
shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge
thy neighbour.
03-19:29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a
whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
03-19:35 Ye
shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in
meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
03-19:37 Therefore
shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the
LORD.
03-20:4 And
if the people of the land do any ways hide their
eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
03-20:8 And
ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
03-20:22 Ye
shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell
therein, spue you not out.
03-21:6 They
shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the
offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the
bread of their God, they do offer: therefore
they shall be holy.
03-21:15 Neither
shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
03-21:23 Only
he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath
a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-22:9 They
shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die
therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do
sanctify them.
03-22:16 Or
suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things:
for I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-22:31 Therefore
shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
03-23:3 Six
days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein:
it is the sabbath of the LORD in
all your dwellings.
03-23:7 In
the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:8 But
ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the
seventh day is an holy convocation:
ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:21 And
ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that
it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do
no servile work therein: it shall be a
statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
03-23:25 Ye
shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
03-23:28 And
ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an
atonement for you before the LORD your God.
03-23:31 Ye
shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all
your dwellings.
03-23:35 On
the first day shall be an holy
convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:36 Seven
days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day
shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by
fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn
assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-25:18 Wherefore
ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments,
and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in
safety.
03-25:45 Moreover
of the children of the strangers that do sojourn
among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your
land: and they shall be your possession.
03-26:3 If
ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do
them;
03-26:14 But
if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do
all these commandments;
03-26:15 And
if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye
will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
03-26:16 I
also will do this unto you; I will even appoint
over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the
eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your
enemies shall eat it.
03-27:11 And
if it be any unclean beast, of which
they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD,
then he shall present the beast before the priest:
04-2:5 And
those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and
Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain
of the children of Issachar.
04-3:7 And
they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the
tabernacle of the congregation, to do the
service of the tabernacle.
04-3:8 And
they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and
the charge of the children of Israel, to do the
service of the tabernacle.
04-4:3 From
thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the
host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the
congregation.
04-4:19 But
thus do unto them, that they may live, and not
die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go
in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
04-4:23 From
thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all
that enter in to perform the service, to do the
work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:30 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them,
every one that entereth into the service, to do
the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:37 These
were they that were numbered of the
families of the Kohathites, all that might do
service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number
according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-4:41 These
are they that were numbered of the
families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do
service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number
according to the commandment of the LORD.
04-4:47 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the
burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-5:6 Speak
unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men
commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and
that person be guilty;
04-6:21 This
is the law of the Nazarite who hath
vowed, and of his offering unto the
LORD for his separation, beside that that
his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
04-7:5 Take
it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation;
and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his
service.
04-8:7 And
thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them:
Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and
let them wash their clothes, and so make
themselves clean.
04-8:15 And
after that shall the Levites go in to do the
service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and
offer them for an offering.
04-8:19 And
I have given the Levites as a gift to
Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the
tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of
Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children
of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
04-8:22 And
after that went the Levites in to do their
service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his
sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto
them.
04-8:26 But
shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to
keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus
shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their
charge.
04-9:14 And
if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the
LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner
thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one
ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-10:29 And
Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law,
We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you:
come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for
the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
04-10:32 And
it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD
shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
04-11:27 And
there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
04-14:28 Say
unto them, As truly as I live, saith
the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do
to you:
04-14:35 I
the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all
this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this
wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
04-14:41 And
Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the
commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
04-15:12 According
to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do
to every one according to their number.
04-15:13 All
that are born of the country shall do these
things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet
savour unto the LORD.
04-15:14 And
if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made
by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do,
so he shall do.
04-15:20 Ye

or in earth, that can do according to thy works,
and according to thy might?

therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I
teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the
LORD God of your fathers giveth you.

I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me,
that ye should do so in the land whither ye go
to possess it.

therefore and do them; for this is your
wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all
these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye
might do them in the land whither ye go over to
possess it.
05-4:25 When
thou shalt beget children, and children’s children, and ye shall have remained
long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves,
and make a graven image, or the
likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke
him to anger:
05-5:1 And
Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and
judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and
keep, and do them.

days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
05-5:14 But
the seventh day is the sabbath of the
LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor
thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of
thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within
thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us

it.

as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the

therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and
that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised
thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.

thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may
be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which
the LORD sware unto thy fathers,

the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes,
to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive,
as it is at this day.

it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do
all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments,
which I command thee this day, to do them.

it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee

great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the
mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee
out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the
people of whom thou art afraid.

the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and
possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
05-8:16 Who
fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he
might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do
thee good at thy latter end;

it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD
thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify
against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his
ways, and to cleave unto him;

in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt

shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after
thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be
destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying,
How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do
likewise.
05-12:31 Thou
shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every
abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even
their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
05-12:32 What
thing soever I command you, observe to do it:
thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
05-13:11 And
all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no
more any such wickedness as this is among you.
05-13:18 When
thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his
commandments which I command thee this day, to do
that which is right in the eyes of

all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no

it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that
he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and
these statutes, to do them:
05-18:7 Then
he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the
Levites do,
which stand there before the LORD.
05-18:9 When
thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not
learn to do after the abominations of those
nations.
05-18:12 For
all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations
the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
05-18:14 For
these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and
unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
05-19:9 If
thou shalt keep all these commandments to do
them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever
in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these
three:
05-19:19 Then
shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have
done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
05-20:3 And
shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against
your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do
not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
05-20:15 Thus
shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
05-20:18 That
they teach you not to do after all their
abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against
the LORD your God.
05-21:9 So
shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent
blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the
LORD.
05-22:3 In
like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so
shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all
lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt
thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
05-22:5 The
woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put
on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
05-22:26 But
unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man
riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
05-24:8 Take
heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall
teach you: as I commanded them, so ye
shall observe to do.
05-24:18 But
thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God
redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do
this thing.
05-24:22 And
thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I
command thee to do this thing.
05-25:16 For
all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy
God.
05-26:16 This
day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do
these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this

05-27:26 Cursed
be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
05-28:1 And
it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the
LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day,
that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
05-28:13 And
the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above
only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments
of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
05-28:15 But
it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy
God, to observe to do all his commandments and
his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come
upon thee, and overtake thee:
05-28:20 The
LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou
settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be
destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy
doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
05-28:58 If
thou wilt not observe to do all the words of
this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and
fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
05-28:63 And
it shall come to pass, that as the
LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to
multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring
you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess
it.
05-29:9 Keep
therefore the words of this covenant, and do
them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
05-29:14 Neither
with you only do I make this covenant and this
oath;
05-29:29 The
secret things belong unto the LORD
our God: but those things which are revealed
belong unto us and to our children
for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
05-30:5 And
the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and
thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good,
and multiply thee above thy fathers.
05-30:8 And
thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do
all his commandments which I command thee this day.
05-30:12 It
is not in heaven, that thou shouldest
say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear
it, and do it?
05-30:13 Neither
is it beyond the sea, that thou
shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we
may hear it, and do it?
05-30:14 But
the word is very nigh unto thee, in
thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do
it.
05-31:4 And
the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon
and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.
05-31:5 And
the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which
I have commanded you.
05-31:12 Gather
the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear,
and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
05-31:29 For
I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you;
and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to
anger through the work of your hands.
05-32:6 Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and
unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made
thee, and established thee?
05-32:46 And
he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you
this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
05-34:11 In
all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his
servants, and to all his land,
06-1:2 Moses
my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all
this people, unto the land which I do give to
them, even to the children of Israel.

be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant
commanded thee: turn not from it to the
right hand or to the left, that thou
mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst
unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof,
shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city
behind it.

it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that
ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of the LORD
shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.

we will do to them; we will even let them live,
lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.

now, behold, we are in thine hand: as
it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto
us, do.

Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good
courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your
enemies against whom ye fight.

take diligent heed to do the commandment and the
law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your
God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave
unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

if we have not rather done it for
fear of this thing, saying, In time to
come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?

that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD before
him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace
offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye
have no part in the LORD.
06-23:6 Be
ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do
all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside
therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
06-23:12 Else
if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto
the remnant of these nations, even these
that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them,
and they to you:
06-24:13 And
I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built
not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not
do ye eat.
06-24:20 If
ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done
you good.
07-6:27 Then
Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and
so it was, because he feared his

didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.

07-18:18 And
these went into Micah’s house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the
teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do ye?
07-19:23 And
the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay,
my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly;
seeing that this man is come into mine house, do
not this folly.
07-19:24 Behold,
here is my daughter a maiden, and his
concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this
man do not so vile a thing.
07-20:9 But
now this shall be the thing which we
will do to Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it;
07-20:10 And
we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an
hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for
the people, that they may do, when they come to
Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in
Israel.
07-21:7 How
shall we do for wives for them that remain,
seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to
wives?
07-21:11 And
this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every
woman that hath lain by man.
07-21:16 Then
the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do
for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?
08-1:17 Where
thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
08-2:9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap,
and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not
touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
08-3:4 And
it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall
lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will
tell thee what thou shalt do.
08-3:5 And
she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.
08-3:11 And
now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee
all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
08-3:13 Tarry
this night, and it shall be in the morning, that
if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

all the people that were in the gate,
and the elders, said, We are witnesses.
The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like
Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do
thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
09-1:23 And
Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what
seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish
his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
09-2:23 And
he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I
hear of your evil dealings by all this people.
09-2:35 And
I will raise me up a faithful priest, that
shall do according to that which is in mine
heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk
before mine anointed for ever.
09-3:11 And
the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a
thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall
tingle.
09-3:17 And
he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray
thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that
he said unto thee.
09-3:18 And
Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.
09-5:8 They
sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and
said, What shall we do with the ark of the God
of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about
unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither.
09-6:2 And
the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall
send it to his place.
09-6:6 Wherefore
then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians
and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them,
did they not let the people go, and they departed?
09-7:3 And
Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and
Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him
only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
09-8:8 According
to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out
of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other
gods, so do they also unto thee.
09-10:2 When
thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s
sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The
asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the
care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
09-10:7 And
let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee;
for God is with thee.
09-10:8 And
thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto
thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to
sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come
to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
09-11:10 Therefore
the men of Jabesh said, To morrow we will come out unto you, and ye shall do with us all that seemeth good unto you.
09-12:16 Now
therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
09-12:25 But
if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be
consumed, both ye and your king.
09-14:7 And
his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
09-14:36 And
Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and spoil them until
the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the
priest, Let us draw near hither unto God.
09-14:40 Then
said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be
on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do
what seemeth good unto thee.
09-14:44 And
Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou
shalt surely die, Jonathan.
09-16:3 And
call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
09-20:2 And
he said unto him, God forbid; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, but that he will
shew it me: and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so.
09-20:4 Then
said Jonathan unto David, Whatsoever thy soul desireth, I will even do it for
thee.
09-20:13 The
LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it
please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it thee, and send
thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath
been with my father.
09-20:30 Then
Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of
the perverse rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse
to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother’s nakedness?
09-22:3 And
David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my
father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do
for me.
09-24:4 And
the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto
thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David
arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.
09-24:6 And
he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do
this thing unto my master, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand
against him, seeing he is the
anointed of the LORD.
09-25:17 Now
therefore know and consider what thou wilt do;
for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for
he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.
09-25:22 So
and more also do God unto the enemies of David,
if I leave of all that pertain to him
by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-26:21 Then
said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine
eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.
09-26:25 Then
Saul said to David, Blessed be thou,
my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So
David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
09-28:2 And
David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make
thee keeper of mine head for ever.
09-28:15 And
Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul
answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and
God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by
dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what
I shall do.
09-29:3 Then
said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul
the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I
have found no fault in him since he fell unto
me unto this day?
09-30:23 Then
said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren,
with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered
the company that came against us into our hand.
10-3:8 Then
was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy
father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into
the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this
woman?
10-3:9 So
do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the
LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
10-3:18 Now
then do it:
for the LORD hath spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David
I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the
hand of all their enemies.
10-3:35 And
when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David
sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also,
if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.
10-7:3 And
Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.
10-7:23 And
what one nation in the earth is like
thy people, even like Israel, whom
God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land,
before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and
concerning his house, establish it for
ever, and do as thou hast said.

said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded
his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for
Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall
eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.

of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of
our God: and the LORD do that which seemeth him

Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my
lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall
I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do
this thing.
10-12:9 Wherefore
hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do
evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast
taken his wife to be thy wife, and
hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
10-13:2 And
Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard
for him to do any thing to her.

forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the
LORD hath bidden him.

said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.

when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath
spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou.

the king said unto them, What seemeth you best I will do.
And the king stood by the gate side, and all the people came out by hundreds
and by thousands.

the king said unto Cushi, Is the young man Absalom safe? And Cushi answered,
The enemies of my lord the king, and all that rise against thee to do thee hurt,
be as that young man is.
10-19:13 And
say ye to Amasa, Art thou not of my
bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more
also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of
Joab.
10-19:18 And
there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera
fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;
10-19:19 And
said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely
the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take
it to his heart.
10-19:22 And
David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons
of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man
be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I
know that I am this day king over Israel?
10-19:27 And
he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what
is good in thine eyes.
10-19:37 Let
thy servant, I pray thee, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, and be buried by the grave of my father
and of my mother. But behold thy servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord
the king; and do to him what shall seem good
unto thee.
10-19:38 And
the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee: and
whatsoever thou shalt require of me, that
will I do for thee.
10-20:6 And
David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom: take thou thy lord’s servants, and pursue after him, lest
he get him fenced cities, and escape us.
10-20:17 And
when he was come near unto her, the woman said, Art thou Joab? And he answered, I am he. Then she said unto him, Hear the words of thine handmaid.
And he answered, I do hear.
10-21:3 Wherefore
David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do
for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the
inheritance of the LORD?
10-21:4 And
the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of
his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What
ye shall say, that will I do for you.
10-23:17 And
he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do
this: is not this the blood of the
men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it.
These things did these three mighty men.
10-24:12 Go
and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I
may do it unto
thee.
11-1:30 Even
as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy
son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead; even so
will I certainly do this day.
11-2:6 Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his
hoar head go down to the grave in peace.
11-2:9 Now
therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou art
a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do
unto him; but his hoar head bring thou down to the grave with blood.
11-2:23 Then
king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do
so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own
life.
11-2:31 And
the king said unto him, Do as he hath said, and
fall upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away the innocent blood,
which Joab shed, from me, and from the house of my father.
11-2:38 And
Shimei said unto the king, The saying is good:
as my lord the king hath said, so will thy servant do.
And Shimei dwelt in Jerusalem many days.
11-3:28 And
all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the
king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was
in him, to do judgment.
11-5:8 And
Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest
to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and
concerning timber of fir.
11-8:32 Then
hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy
servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying
the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
11-8:39 Then
hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose
heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou
only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)
11-8:43 Hear
thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do
according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the
earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that
this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.
11-9:1 And
it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the
LORD, and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he was pleased to do,
11-9:4 And
if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart,
and in uprightness, to do according to all that
I have commanded thee, and wilt keep
my statutes and my judgments:
11-10:9 Blessed
be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of
Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to
do judgment and justice.
11-11:12 Notwithstanding
in thy days I will not do it for David thy
father’s sake: but I will rend it out
of the hand of thy son.
11-11:33 Because
that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the
Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children
of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as
did David his father.
11-11:38 And
it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk
in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments,
as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house,
as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
11-12:6 And
king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father
while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise
that I may answer this people?
11-12:27 If
this people go up to do sacrifice in the house
of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto
their lord, even unto Rehoboam king
of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.
11-14:8 And
rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant
David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only
which was right in mine eyes;
11-17:13 And
Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little
cake first, and bring it unto me, and
after make for thee and for thy son.
11-17:18 And
she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with
thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance,
and to slay my son?
11-18:34 And
he said, Do it
the second time. And they did it the
second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.
11-19:2 Then
Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and
more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about
this time.
11-20:9 Wherefore
he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou
didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do:
but this thing I may not do. And the messengers
departed, and brought him word again.
11-20:10 And
Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so
unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for
all the people that follow me.
11-20:24 And
do this thing, Take the kings away, every man
out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
11-22:22 And
the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be
a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt
persuade him, and prevail also: go
forth, and do so.
12-2:9 And
it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask
what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away
from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be
upon me.
12-3:13 And
Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do
with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy
mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called
these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
12-4:2 And
Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee?
tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any
thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
12-4:16 And
he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a
son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man
of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.
12-4:28 Then
she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?
12-5:13 And
his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great
thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how
much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?
12-6:15 And
when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an
host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said
unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
12-6:27 And
he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence
shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?
12-6:31 Then
he said, God do so and more also to me, if the
head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.
12-7:9 Then
they said one to another, We do not well: this
day is a day of good tidings, and we
hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come
upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
12-8:12 And
Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that
thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their
strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the
sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.
12-8:13 And
Hazael said, But what, is thy servant
a dog, that he should do this great thing? And
Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.
12-9:18 So
there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast
thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And
the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
12-9:19 Then
he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the
king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered,
What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee
behind me.
12-10:5 And
he that was over the house, and he
that was over the city, the elders
also, and the bringers up of the
children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are
thy servants, and will do all that thou
shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou
that which is good in thine eyes.
12-10:19 Now
therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his
priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be
wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it
in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
12-11:5 And
he commanded them, saying, This is the
thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that
enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;
12-17:12 For
they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.
12-17:15 And
they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers,
and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity,
and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning
whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.
12-17:17 And
they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used
divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do
evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
12-17:34 Unto
this day they do after the former manners: they
fear not the LORD, neither do they after their
statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the
LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
12-17:36 But
the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a
stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him
shall ye do sacrifice.
12-17:37 And
the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he
wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for
evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.
12-17:41 So
these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their
children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
12-18:12 Because
they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant,
and all that Moses the servant of the
LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor
do them.
12-19:31 For
out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount
Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall
do this.
12-20:9 And
Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go

12-21:8 Neither
will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their
fathers; only if they will observe to do
according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that
my servant Moses commanded them.

they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do
more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of
Israel.
12-22:9 And
Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said,
Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have

hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy
servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head;
and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.

hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, and do according to all that

people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy

Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do
sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us
up hither.
15-4:3 But
Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel,
said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to
build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD
God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.
15-4:22 Take
heed now that ye fail not to do this: why should
damage grow to the hurt of the kings?
15-6:8 Moreover
I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders
of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the king’s goods, even of the tribute beyond the river,
forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
15-7:10 For
Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and
to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or
to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.

for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will
be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.

arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear
that they should do according to this word. And
they sware.

the Arabian, heard it, they laughed
us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye
rebel against the king?
16-4:2 And
he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves?
will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the
stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
16-5:9 Also
I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God
because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
16-5:12 Then
said they, We will restore them, and
will require nothing of them; so will we do as
thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they
should do according to this promise.
16-6:2 That
Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of
Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.

was he hired, that I should be
afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they
might reproach me.

oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to
observe and do all the commandments of the LORD
our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do,
and profane the sabbath day?
16-13:21 Then
I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if
ye do so again,
I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.

we then hearken unto you to do all this great
evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?

the drinking was according to the

the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do
as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had
prepared.

I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to
grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to
the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do
to morrow as the king hath said.
17-6:6 So
Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom
the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would
the king delight to do honour more than to
myself?

the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take
the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do
even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail

had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
21-2:12 And
I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
21-3:12 I
know that there is no good in them,
but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
21-4:8 There
is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath
neither child nor brother: yet is there no
end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.
21-5:1 Keep
thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than
to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
21-6:6 Yea,
though he live a thousand years twice told,
yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to
one place?
21-8:11 Because
sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the
sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
21-8:12 Though
a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know
that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:
21-9:10 Whatsoever
thy hand findeth to do, do
it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor
knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
21-10:10 If
the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge,
then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
21-11:5 As
thou knowest not what is the way of
the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in
the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God
who maketh all.
22-1:3 Because
of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do
the virgins love thee.
22-8:8 We
have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken
for?
23-1:16 Wash
you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil;
23-1:17 Learn
to do well; seek judgment, relieve the
oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
23-5:5 And
now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my
vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it
shall be trodden down:
23-9:13 For
the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
23-10:3 And
what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in
the desolation which shall come from
far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
23-10:11 Shall
I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do
to Jerusalem and her idols?
23-14:21 Prepare
slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face
of the world with cities.
23-19:15 Neither
shall there be any work for Egypt,
which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
23-19:21 And
the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that
day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea,
they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
23-23:4 Be
thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring
forth children, neither do I nourish up young
men, nor bring up virgins.
23-24:4 The
earth mourneth and fadeth away, the
world languisheth and fadeth away,
the haughty people of the earth do languish.
23-24:7 The
new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
23-24:18 And
it shall come to pass, that he who
fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh
up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows
from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
23-27:3 I
the LORD do keep it; I will water it every
moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep
it night and day.
23-28:21 For
the LORD shall rise up as in mount
Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the
valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his
strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
23-29:13 Wherefore
the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do
honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me
is taught by the precept of men:
23-29:14 Therefore,
behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work
among this people, even a marvellous
work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
23-37:32 For
out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount
Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do
this.
23-38:7 And
this shall be a sign unto thee from
the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that
he hath spoken;
23-38:19 The
living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the
children shall make known thy truth.
23-41:23 Shew
the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do
good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and
behold it together.
23-42:9 Behold,
the former things are come to pass, and new things do
I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
23-42:16 And
I will bring the blind by a way that they
knew not; I will lead them in paths that they
have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things
straight. These things will I do unto them, and
not forsake them.
23-43:19 Behold,
I will do a new thing; now it shall spring
forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
23-45:7 I
form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
23-46:10 Declaring
the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do
all my pleasure:
23-46:11 Calling
a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far
country: yea, I have spoken it, I
will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it,
I will also do it.
23-48:11 For
mine own sake, even for mine own
sake, will I do it: for how should my name be
polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
23-48:14 All
ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will
do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
23-55:2 Wherefore
do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul
delight itself in fatness.
23-56:1 Thus
saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do
justice: for my salvation is near to
come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
23-57:4 Against
whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make
ye a wide mouth, and draw out the
tongue? are ye not children of
transgression, a seed of falsehood,
23-58:4 Behold,
ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye
shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on
high.
23-64:6 But
we are all as an unclean thing, and
all our righteousnesses are as filthy
rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our
iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
23-65:8 Thus
saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a
blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them
all.
24-2:8 The
priests said not, Where is the LORD?
and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against
me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
24-2:18 And
now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to
drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do
in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
24-4:22 For
my people is foolish, they have not
known me; they are sottish children,
and they have none understanding: they are
wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
24-4:30 And
when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do?
Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments
of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make
thyself fair; thy lovers will despise
thee, they will seek thy life.
24-5:28 They
are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they
judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the
right of the needy do they not judge.
24-5:31 The
prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my
people love to have it so: and what
will ye do in the end thereof?
24-7:10 And
come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We
are delivered to do all these abominations?
24-7:14 Therefore
will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto
the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
24-7:17 Seest
thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and
in the streets of Jerusalem?
24-7:19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not
provoke themselves to the confusion
of their own faces?
24-8:8 How
do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is
in vain.
24-8:14 Why
do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us
enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our
God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we
have sinned against the LORD.
24-9:7 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how
shall I do for the daughter of my people?
24-10:5 They
are upright as the palm tree, but
speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of
them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
24-11:4 Which
I commanded your fathers in the day that I
brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying,
Obey my voice, and do them, according to all
which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
24-11:6 Then
the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in
the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
24-11:8 Yet
they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination
of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this
covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them
not.
24-11:15 What
hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with
many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou
rejoicest.
24-12:5 If
thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou
contend with horses? and if in the
land of peace, wherein thou
trustedst, they wearied thee, then
how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
24-13:12 Therefore
thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every
bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be
filled with wine?
24-13:23 Can
the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are
accustomed to do evil.
24-14:7 O
LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do
thou it for thy name’s sake: for our
backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.
24-14:21 Do not abhor us,
for thy name’s sake, do not disgrace the
throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.
24-17:22 Neither
carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I
commanded your fathers.
24-17:24 And
it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to
bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but
hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
24-18:6 O
house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this
potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is
in the potter’s hand, so are ye
in mine hand, O house of Israel.
24-18:8 If
that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will
repent of the evil that I thought to do unto
them.
24-18:10 If
it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my
voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
24-18:12 And
they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we
will every one do the imagination of his evil
heart.
24-19:12 Thus
will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and
to the inhabitants thereof, and even make
this city as Tophet:
24-22:3 Thus
saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled
out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no
wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the
fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
24-22:4 For
if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there
enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
24-22:15 Shalt
thou reign, because thou closest thyself in
cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do
judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
24-22:17 But
thine eyes and thine heart are not
but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression,
and for violence, to do it.
24-23:24 Can
any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
24-23:32 Behold,
I am against them that prophesy false
dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and
cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them
not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all,
saith the LORD.
24-25:6 And
go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not
to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do
you no hurt.
24-26:3 If
so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may
repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do
unto them because of the evil of their doings.
24-26:14 As
for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.
24-28:6 Even
the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so:
the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the
vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon
into this place.
24-29:32 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his
seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he
behold the good that I will do for my people,
saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD.
24-30:6 Ask
ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a
woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
24-31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I
spake against him, I do earnestly remember him
still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon
him, saith the LORD.
24-32:23 And
they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked
in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come
upon them:
24-32:35 And
they built the high places of Baal, which are
in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters
to pass through the fire unto Molech;
which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
24-32:40 And
I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from
them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in
their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
24-32:41 Yea,
I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I
will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole
soul.
24-33:9 And
it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations
of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do
unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the
prosperity that I procure unto it.
24-33:18 Neither
shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings,
and to kindle meat offerings, and to do
sacrifice continually.
24-36:3 It
may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his
evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
24-38:5 Then
Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in
your hand: for the king is not he that can do
any thing against you.
24-39:12 Take
him, and look well to him, and do him no harm;
but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
24-40:16 But
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael.
24-42:2 And
said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be
accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are
left but a few of many, as thine eyes
do behold us:)
24-42:3 That
the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we
may do.
24-42:5 Then
they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if
we do not even according to all things for the
which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.
24-42:20 For
ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying,
Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God
shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it.
24-44:4 Howbeit
I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
24-44:17 But
we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth
forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to
pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our
kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of
Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of
victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
24-50:15 Shout
against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen,
her walls are thrown down: for it is the
vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.
24-50:21 Go
up against the land of Merathaim, even against
it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them,
saith the LORD, and do according to all that I
have commanded thee.
24-50:29 Call
together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it
round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work;
according to all that she hath done, do unto
her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.
24-51:47 Therefore,
behold, the days come, that I will do judgment
upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and
all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
24-51:52 Wherefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do
judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall
groan.
24-51:55 Because
the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when
her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of
their voice is uttered:
25-1:4 The
ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the
solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are
afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
25-1:22 Let
all their wickedness come before thee; and do
unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.
25-2:11 Mine
eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled,
my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my
people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the
city.
26-2:4 For
they are impudent children and
stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou
shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
26-5:9 And
I will do in thee that which I have not done,
and whereunto I will not do any more the like,
because of all thine abominations.
26-6:10 And
they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I
would do this evil unto them.
26-7:27 The
king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the
hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their
deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-8:6 He
said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the
great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go
far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
26-8:9 And
he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
26-8:12 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of
Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers
of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the
earth.
26-8:13 He
said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and
thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
26-11:20 That
they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be
their God.
26-15:3 Shall
wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel
thereon?
26-16:5 None
eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee,
to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the
loathing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
26-18:5 But
if a man be just, and do that which is lawful
and right,
26-18:21 But
if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all
my statutes, and do that which is lawful and
right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
26-20:11 And
I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do,
he shall even live in them.
26-20:13 But
the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in
my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in
them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my
fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
26-20:19 I
am the LORD your God; walk in my
statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
26-20:21 Notwithstanding
the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept
my judgments to do them, which if a man do,
he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour
out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
26-21:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered,
in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your
sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the
hand.
26-22:14 Can
thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal
with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and
will do it.
26-23:30 I
will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the
heathen, and because thou art
polluted with their idols.
26-23:48 Thus
will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught
not to do after your lewdness.
26-24:14 I
the LORD have spoken it: it shall
come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I
repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge
thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:22 And
ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
26-24:24 Thus
Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do
say, Behold, the house of Judah is like
unto all the heathen;
26-25:14 And
I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they
shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according
to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
26-33:9 Nevertheless,
if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his
iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
26-33:14 Again,
when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and
do that which is lawful and right;
26-33:19 But
if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do
that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
26-33:31 And
they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words,
but they will not do them: for with their mouth
they shew much love, but their heart
goeth after their covetousness.
26-33:32 And,
lo, thou art unto them as a very
lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an
instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do
them not.
26-34:2 Son
of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do
feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
even do according to thine anger, and according
to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will
make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:15 As
thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was
desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be
desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even
all of it: and they shall know that I am
the LORD.
26-36:11 And
I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring
fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto
you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-36:22 Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for
your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have
profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
26-36:27 And
I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye
shall keep my judgments, and do them.
26-36:32 Not
for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and
confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
26-36:36 Then
the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the
ruined places, and plant that that
was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and
I will do it.
26-36:37 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this
be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with
men like a flock.
26-37:24 And
David my servant shall be king over
them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my
judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
26-37:28 And
the heathen shall know that I the LORD do
sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and
to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves
on every side to my sacrifice that I do
sacrifice for you, even a great
sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-43:11 And
if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house,
and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in
thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the
forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and

a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

he that cometh against him shall do according to
his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the
glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
27-11:17 He
shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and
upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he
shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
27-11:24 He
shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he
shall do that
which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter
among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea,
and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a
time.
27-11:27 And
both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table;
but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall
be at the time appointed.
27-11:28 Then
shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and
he shall do exploits,
and return to his own land.
27-11:30 For
the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and
return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with
them that forsake the holy covenant.
27-11:32 And
such as do wickedly against the covenant shall
he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do
know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
27-11:36 And
the king shall do according to his will; and he
shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the
indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
27-11:39 Thus
shall he do in the most strong holds with a
strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and
increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall
divide the land for gain.
27-12:10 Many
shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand;
but the wise shall understand.

shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy
fruit found.
29-1:18 How
do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are
perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made
desolate.

not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do
great things.

not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig

and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and
Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if
ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily
will I return your recompence upon your own head;

the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth
his secret unto his servants the prophets.
30-3:10 For
they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who
store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do
lie, saying, I will prophesy unto
thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
33-6:8 He
hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do
justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
33-7:3 That
they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the
prince asketh, and the judge asketh for
a reward; and the great man, he
uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
34-1:9 What
do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an
utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
36-1:12 And
it shall come to pass at that time, that I
will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on
their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do
good, neither will he do evil.
36-3:5 The
just LORD is in the midst thereof; he
will not do iniquity: every morning doth he
bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
36-3:13 The
remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor
speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they
shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

is left among you that saw this house
in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of
it as nothing?
37-2:12 If
one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any
meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
38-1:5 Your
fathers, where are they? and the
prophets, do they live for ever?
38-1:6 But
my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they
not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of
hosts thought to do unto us, according to our
ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
38-1:21 Then
said I, What come these to do? And he spake,
saying, These are the horns which
have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come
to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to
scatter it.
38-5:10 Then
said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do
these bear the ephah?
38-8:15 So
again have I thought in these days to do well
unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
38-8:16 These
are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour;
execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
38-9:12 Turn
you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that
I will render double unto thee;
38-12:7 The
LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of
David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do
not magnify themselves against Judah.
39-1:10 Who
is there even among you that would
shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire
on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of
hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
39-2:2 If
ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it
to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even
send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them
already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
39-2:10 Have
we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by
profaning the covenant of our fathers?
39-4:1 For,
behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and
all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the
day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall
leave them neither root nor branch.
39-4:3 And
ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your
feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-5:6 Blessed
are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they
shall be filled.
40-5:15 Neither
do men light a candle, and put it under a
bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the
house.
40-5:19 Whosoever
therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
40-5:44 But
I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you;
40-5:46 For
if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do
not even the publicans the same?
40-5:47 And
if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more
than others? do
not even the publicans so?
40-6:1 Take
heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be
seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
40-6:2 Therefore
when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may
have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
40-6:7 But
when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall
be heard for their much speaking.
40-6:20 But
lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves do not break through
nor steal:
40-6:26 Behold
the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do
they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye
not much better than they?
40-6:28 And
why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they
grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
40-6:32 (For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:)
for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
40-7:12 Therefore
all things whatsoever ye would that men should do
to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the
law and the prophets.
40-7:16 Ye
shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather
grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
40-8:9 For
I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another,
Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this,
and he doeth it.
40-8:29 And,
behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do
with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before
the time?
40-9:14 Then
came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do
we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
40-9:17 Neither
do men put new wine into old bottles: else the
bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put
new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
40-9:28 And
when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith
unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?
They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-11:3 And
said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do
we look for another?
40-11:4 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
40-12:2 But
when the Pharisees saw it, they said
unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is
not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
40-12:12 How
much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
40-12:27 And
if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do
your children cast them out?
therefore they shall be your judges.
40-12:50 For
whosoever shall do the will of my Father which
is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
40-13:13 Therefore
speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear
not, neither do they understand.
40-13:41 The
Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his
kingdom all things that offend, and them which do
iniquity;
40-14:2 And
said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead;
and therefore mighty works do shew forth
themselves in him.
40-15:2 Why
do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the
elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
40-15:3 But
he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also
transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
40-15:9 But
in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
40-15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in
at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
40-16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five
loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
40-16:11 How
is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye
should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
40-16:13 When
Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,
saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man
am?
40-17:25 He
saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying,
What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings
of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
40-18:10 Take
heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in
heaven their angels do always behold the face of
my Father which is in heaven.
40-18:35 So
likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto
you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
40-19:16 And,
behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
40-19:18 He
saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do
no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not
bear false witness,
40-20:13 But
he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do
thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
40-20:15 Is
it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine
own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
40-20:32 And
Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
40-21:21 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt
not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also
if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the
sea; it shall be done.
40-21:24 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye
tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
40-21:27 And
they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither
tell I you by what authority I do these things.
40-21:40 When
the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
40-22:29 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not
knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
40-23:3 All
therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that
observe and do; but do
not ye after their works: for they say, and do
not.
40-23:5 But
all their works they do for to be seen of men:
they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
40-26:72 And
again he denied with an oath, I do not know the
man.

he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou
nothing to do with that just man: for I have
suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

which is called Christ? They all say

for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say
unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of
the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
41-2:24 And
the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they
on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
41-3:4 And
he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on
the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life,
or to kill? But they held their peace.
41-3:35 For
whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is
my brother, and my sister, and mother.
41-5:7 And
cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do
with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the
most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
41-6:5 And
he could there do no mighty work, save that he
laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

king Herod heard of him; (for his
name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the
dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth
themselves in him.

in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and
many other such like things ye do.
41-7:12 And
ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father
or his mother;
41-7:13 Making
the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered:
and many such like things do ye.
41-7:18 And
he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without
entereth into the man, it cannot
defile him;
41-8:18 Having
eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do
ye not remember?
41-8:21 And
he said unto them, How is it that ye do not
understand?
41-8:27 And
Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by
the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do
men say that I am?
41-9:22 And
ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him:
but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion
on us, and help us.
41-9:39 But
Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil
of me.
41-10:17 And
when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to
him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do
that I may inherit eternal life?
41-10:19 Thou
knowest the commandments, Do not commit
adultery, Do not kill, Do
not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud

if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that
the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
41-11:5 And
certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do
ye, loosing the colt?
41-11:26 But
if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father
which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
41-11:28 And
say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this
authority to do these things?
41-11:29 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and
answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do
these things.
41-11:33 And
they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith
unto them, Neither do I tell you by what
authority I do these things.
41-12:9 What
shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he
will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
41-12:24 And
Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not
therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
41-12:27 He
is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
41-13:11 But
when they shall lead you, and deliver
you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you
in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

the multitude crying aloud began to desire him
to do as he had ever done unto them.

ye call the King of the Jews?

their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John
fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the
disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
42-6:2 And
certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do
ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath
days?
42-6:9 Then
said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath
days to do good, or to do
evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
42-6:11 And
they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
42-6:27 But
I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do
good to them which hate you,
42-6:31 And
as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
42-6:33 And
if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
42-6:35 But
love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend,
hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the
children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
42-6:44 For
every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
42-6:46 And
why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things
which I say?
42-7:4 And
when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was
worthy for whom he should do this:
42-7:8 For

he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear

said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech
thee, torment me not.

the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do
wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of
God is come nigh unto you.

behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall
I do to inherit eternal life?

he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do,
and thou shalt live.

he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make
clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of
ravening and wickedness.
42-12:4 And
I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after
that have no more that they can do.
42-12:17 And
he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do,
because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
42-12:18 And
he said, This will I do: I will pull down my
barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
42-12:26 If
ye then be not able to do that thing which is
least, why take ye thought for the rest?

all these things do the nations of the world
seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

the steward said within himself, What shall I do?
for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am
ashamed.

am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out
of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you,
say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy
father and thy mother.

What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he
said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.

if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because
the Lord hath need of him.

could not find what they might do: for all the
people were very attentive to hear him.

Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do?
I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do
thoughts arise in your hearts?

saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with
thee? mine hour is not yet come.

mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a
teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do
know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

him that sent me, and to finish his work.

can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I
judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will
of the Father which hath sent me.

I have greater witness than that of
John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works
that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father
hath sent me.
43-5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father:
there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

said they unto him, What shall we do, that we
might work the works of God?
43-6:38 For
I came down from heaven, not to do mine own
will, but the will of him that sent me.
43-7:4 For
there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known
openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to
the world.
43-7:17 If
any man will do his will, he shall know of the
doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether
I speak of myself.
43-7:26 But,
lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do
the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he, and that I do
nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
43-8:29 And
he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
43-8:38 I
speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do
that which ye have seen with your father.
43-8:39 They
answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye
were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works
of Abraham.
43-8:41 Ye
do the deeds of your father. Then said they to
him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
43-8:43 Why
do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
43-8:44 Ye
are of your father the devil, and the
lusts of your father ye will do. He was a
murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no
truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar,
and the father of it.
43-8:46 Which
of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
43-8:49 Jesus
answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
43-9:15 Then
again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto
them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do
see.
43-9:16 Therefore
said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the
sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
43-9:33 If
this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
43-10:25 Jesus
answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
43-10:32 Jesus
answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of
those works do ye stone me?
43-10:37 If
I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
43-10:38 But
if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the
works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do
well.
43-11:47 Then
gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
43-13:7 Jesus
answered and said unto him, What I do thou
knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
43-13:15 For
I have given you an example, that ye should do
as I have done to you.
43-13:17 If
ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do
them.
43-13:27 And
after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou

verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also;
and greater works than these shall he
do; because I go unto my Father.

whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,

that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me

and all things that are therein:

ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things
strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren
in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
44-16:20 And
brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
44-16:28 But
Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself
no harm: for we are all here.

brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do
to be saved?

Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and

Jason hath received: and these all do contrary
to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
44-19:36 Seeing
then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.

which have a vow on them;

herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience
void of offence toward God, and toward men.

Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure,
answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of
these things before me?
44-26:9 I
verily thought with myself, that I ought to do
many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the
coasts of Judaea, and then to the
Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do
works meet for repentance.

even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
45-1:32 Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of
death, not only do the same, but have pleasure
in them that do them.

thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do
such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

unto them that are contentious, and do not obey
the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by
nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law
unto themselves:
45-3:8 And
not rather, (as we be slanderously
reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do
evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
45-3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God
forbid: yea, we establish the law.
45-7:15 For
that which I do I allow not: for what I would,
that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
45-7:16 If
then I do that which I would not, I consent unto
the law that it is good.
45-7:17 Now
then it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
45-7:19 For
the good that I would I do not: but the evil
which I would not, that I do.
45-7:20 Now
if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

find then a law, that, when I would do good,
evil is present with me.
45-8:3 For
what the law could not do, in that it was weak
through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and
for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
45-8:5 For
they that are after the flesh do mind the things
of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
45-8:13 For
if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
45-8:25 But
if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
45-12:8 Or
he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he
that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
45-12:15 Rejoice
with them that do rejoice, and weep with them
that weep.
45-13:3 For
rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be
afraid of the power? do that which is good, and
thou shalt have praise of the same:

he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in
vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

I may be delivered from them that do not believe
in Judaea; and that my service which I
have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
46-5:12 For
what have I to do to judge them also that are
without? do not ye judge them that are within?
46-6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?
and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest
matters?
46-6:7 Now
therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with
another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer
yourselves to be defrauded?
46-6:8 Nay,
ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she
pass the flower of her age, and need
so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth
not: let them marry.

things live of the things of the temple?
and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

but if against my will, a dispensation of

do all to the glory of God.

I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should
appear approved, but that ye should do that
which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

we can do nothing against the truth, but for the
truth.

do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I
should not be the servant of Christ.

do not frustrate the grace of God: for if
righteousness come by the law, then
Christ is dead in vain.

as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written,
Cursed is every one that continueth
not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye
not hear the law?

I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do
I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and
these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
48-5:21 Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you
before, as I have also told you in
time past, that they which do such things shall
not inherit the kingdom of God.

we have therefore opportunity, let us do good
unto all men, especially unto them
who are of the household of faith.

said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
58-10:9 Then
said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He
taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
58-11:3 Through
faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that
things which are seen were not made of things which do
appear.
58-11:29 By
faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do
were drowned.
58-13:6 So
that we may boldly say, The Lord is my
helper, and I will not fear what man shall do
unto me.
58-13:16 But
to do good and to communicate forget not: for
with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
58-13:17 Obey
them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for
your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
58-13:19 But
I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
58-13:21 Make
you perfect in every good work to do his will, working
in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
59-1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
59-2:6 But
ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress
you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
59-2:7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye
are called?
59-2:8 If
ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
59-2:11 For
he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also,
Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet
if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
59-2:12 So
speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be
judged by the law of liberty.
59-4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The
spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
59-4:15 For
that ye ought to say, If the Lord
will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
59-4:17 Therefore
to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
59-5:19 Brethren,
if any of you do err from the truth, and one
convert him;
60-1:21 Who
by him do believe in God, that raised him up
from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
60-2:14 Or
unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of
evildoers, and for the praise of them that do
well.
60-2:20 For
what glory is it, if, when ye be
buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
60-3:6 Even
as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye
do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
60-3:11 Let
him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek
peace, and ensue it.
60-3:12 For
the eyes of the Lord are over the
righteous, and his ears are open unto
their prayers: but the face of the Lord is
against them that do evil.
60-4:11 If
any man speak, let him speak as the
oracles of God; if any man minister, let
him do it as of the ability which God
giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom
be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
61-1:10 Wherefore
the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
61-1:19 We
have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do
well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the
day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
61-3:16 As
also in all his epistles, speaking in
them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which
they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures,
unto their own destruction.
62-1:6 If
we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep
his commandments.

on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do
well:
66-2:5 Remember
therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do
the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy
candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
66-3:9 Behold,
I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are
not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to
come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
66-3:18 I
counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and
white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do
not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
66-9:19 For
their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads,
and with them they do hurt.
66-13:14 And
deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the
means of those miracles which he had power to do
in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they
should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did
live.
66-14:13 And
I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the
Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
66-19:10 And
I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not:
I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:
worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
66-21:24 And
the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the
kings of the earth do bring their glory and
honour into it.
66-22:9 Then
saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy
brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship
God.
66-22:14 Blessed
are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city.
