01-4:16 And
Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt
in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
01-11:2 And
it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in
the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
01-11:31 And
Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his
daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of
the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
01-13:18 Then
Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar
unto the LORD.
01-14:7 And
they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is
Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites,
that dwelt in Hazezontamar.
01-14:12 And
they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son, who dwelt
in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.
01-14:13 And
there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of
Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were
confederate with Abram.
01-16:3 And
Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to
her husband Abram to be his wife.
01-19:29 And
it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God
remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he
overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
01-19:30 And
Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the
mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and
he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
01-21:20 And
God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in
the wilderness, and became an archer.
01-21:21 And
he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his
mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.
01-22:19 So
Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to
Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
01-23:10 And
Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and
Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of
his city, saying,
01-24:62 And
Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt
in the south country.
01-25:11 And
it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and
Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.
01-25:18 And
they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward
Assyria: and he died in the presence
of all his brethren.
01-26:6 And
Isaac dwelt in Gerar:
01-26:17 And
Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.
01-35:22 And
it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land,
that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:
01-36:8 Thus
dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
01-37:1 And
Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a
stranger, in the land of Canaan.
01-38:11 Then
said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at thy father’s house,
till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his
brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father’s house.
01-47:27 And
Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the
country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied
exceedingly.
01-50:22 And
Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his father’s
house: and Joseph lived an hundred and ten years.
02-2:15 Now
when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the
face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of
Midian: and he sat down by a well.
02-12:40 Now
the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt
in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty
years.
03-18:3 After
the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt,
shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring
you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
03-26:35 As
long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your
sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
04-14:25 (Now
the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the
valley.) To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the
Red sea.
04-14:45 Then
the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt
in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.
04-20:15 How
our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt
in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:
04-21:1 And
when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the
way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.
04-21:25 And
Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in
all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
04-21:31 Thus
Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
04-21:34 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand,
and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto
Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at
Heshbon.
04-31:10 And
they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt,
and all their goodly castles, with fire.
04-32:40 And
Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.
04-33:40 And
king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the
south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
05-1:4 After
he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt
in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt
at Astaroth in Edrei:
05-1:6 The
LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt
long enough in this mount:
05-1:44 And
the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came
out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
05-2:8 And
when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from
Elath, and from Eziongaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness
of Moab.
05-2:10 The
Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people
great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;
05-2:12 The
Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the
children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them,
and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the
land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.
05-2:20 (That
also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt
therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;
05-2:21 A
people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them
before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt
in their stead:
05-2:22 As
he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in
Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them,
and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
05-2:23 And
the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which
came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt
in their stead.)
05-3:2 And
the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his
people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst
unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at
Heshbon.
05-4:46 On
this side Jordan, in the valley over against Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon
king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom
Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of
Egypt:
05-8:12 Lest
when thou hast eaten and art full,
and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
05-29:16 (For
ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt;
and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
05-33:16 And
for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the
head of him that was separated from
his brethren.
06-2:15 Then
she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.
06-7:7 And
Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people
over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would
to God we had been content, and dwelt on the
other side Jordan!
06-9:16 And
it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with
them, that they heard that they were their
neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.
06-12:2 Sihon
king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and
from the middle of the river, and from half Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok,
which is the border of the children
of Ammon;
06-12:4 And
the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was
of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at
Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
06-16:10 And
they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in
Gezer: but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve
under tribute.
06-19:47 And
the coast of the children of Dan went out too
little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against
Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it,
and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after
the name of Dan their father.
06-19:50 According
to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and
he built the city, and dwelt therein.
06-21:43 And
the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their
fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt
therein.
06-22:33 And
the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed
God, and did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land
wherein the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
06-24:2 And
Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your
fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in
old time, even Terah, the father of
Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
06-24:7 And
when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians,
and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I
have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the
wilderness a long season.
06-24:8 And
I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt
on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your
hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.
06-24:18 And
the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore
will we also serve the LORD; for he is
our God.
07-1:9 And
afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that
dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in
the valley.
07-1:10 And
Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in
Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was

07-1:16 And
the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the city of
palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they
went and dwelt among the people.
07-1:29 Neither
did Ephraim drive out the Canaanites that dwelt
in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in Gezer
among them.
07-1:30 Neither
did Zebulun drive out the inhabitants of Kitron, nor the inhabitants of
Nahalol; but the Canaanites dwelt among them,
and became tributaries.
07-1:32 But
the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites, the
inhabitants of the land: for they did not drive them out.
07-1:33 Neither
did Naphtali drive out the inhabitants of Bethshemesh, nor the inhabitants of
Bethanath; but he dwelt among the Canaanites,
the inhabitants of the land: nevertheless the inhabitants of Bethshemesh and of
Bethanath became tributaries unto them.
07-3:3 Namely, five lords of the Philistines,
and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the
entering in of Hamath.
07-3:5 And
the children of Israel dwelt among the
Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:

the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in
Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera,
which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.

own house.

Gaal and his brethren, that they should not dwell in Shechem.

after Abimelech there arose to defend Israel Tola the son of Puah the son of
Dodo, a man of Issachar, and he dwelt in Shamir
in mount Ephraim.
07-11:3 Then
Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in
the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out
with him.
07-11:26 While
Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in
Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that be along by the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore
did ye not recover them within that
time?
07-15:8 And
he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.
07-18:7 Then
the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians,
quiet and secure; and there was no
magistrate in the land, that might put them
to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no
business with any man.
07-18:28 And
there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no
business with any man; and it was in
the valley that lieth by Bethrehob.
And they built a city, and dwelt therein.
07-21:23 And
the children of Benjamin did so, and took them
wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught:
and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and
dwelt in them.

in Naioth.
09-22:4 And

with him all the while that David was in the hold.

David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong
holds at Engedi.
09-27:3 And
David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men,
every man with his household, even David
with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess,
Nabal’s wife.
09-27:7 And
the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines
was a full year and four months.
09-31:7 And
when the men of Israel that were on
the other side of the valley, and they that
were on the other side Jordan, saw
that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook
the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt
in them.
10-2:3 And
his men that were with him did David
bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt
in the cities of Hebron.

David dwelt in the fort, and called it the city
of David. And David built round about from Millo and inward.

out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.
10-9:12 And
Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was
Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of

his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of

his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for
Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken to
wife, like unto this porch.

it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard of it, (for he was fled from the

Egypt;)
11-12:17 But
as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over
them.
11-12:25 Then
Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt
therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel.
11-13:11 Now
there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his
sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in
Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to
their father.
11-13:25 And,
behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion
standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
11-15:18 Then
Asa took all the silver and the gold that
were left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of
the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king

Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
11-15:21 And
it came to pass, when Baasha heard thereof,

the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in
their tents, as beforetime.

the king of Assyria brought men from

12-17:28 Then
one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear
the LORD.
12-17:29 Howbeit
every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had
made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.
12-19:36 So
Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.
13-2:55 And
the families of the scribes which dwelt at
Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and

were the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.
13-4:28 And
they dwelt at Beersheba, and Moladah, and
Hazarshual,
13-4:40 And
they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.
13-4:41 And
these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote
their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them

their flocks.

and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the
east land of Gilead.
13-5:11 And
the children of Gad dwelt over against them, in
the land of Bashan unto Salcah:
13-5:16 And
they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in her
towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, upon their borders.
13-5:22 For
there fell down many slain, because the war was
of God. And they dwelt in their steads until
the captivity.

in the land: they increased from Bashan unto Baalhermon and Senir, and unto

in the villages of the Netophathites.
13-9:34 These
chief fathers of the Levites were chief
throughout their generations; these dwelt at
Jerusalem.
13-9:35 And
in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel,
whose wife’s name was Maachah:
13-9:38 And

their brethren at Jerusalem, over against their brethren.

David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called
it the city of David.
13-17:5 For
I have not dwelt in an house since the day that
I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.
14-10:17 But
as for the children of Israel that dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over
them.
14-11:5 And
Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities
for defence in Judah.
14-16:2 Then
Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD
and of the king’s house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,

Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out
again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back
unto the LORD God of their fathers.
14-20:8 And
they dwelt therein, and have built thee a
sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,
14-26:7 And
God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims.
14-26:21 And
Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and
Jotham his son was over the king’s
house, judging the people of the land.
14-28:18 The
Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of
Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the
villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the
villages thereof: and they dwelt there.
14-30:25 And
all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the
congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the
land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah,
rejoiced.
14-31:4 Moreover
he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem
to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be
encouraged in the law of the LORD.
14-31:6 And
concerning the children of Israel and
Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they
also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which
were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.
14-34:22 And
Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the
prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper
of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in
the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
15-2:70 So
the priests, and the Levites, and some of
the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
16-3:26 Moreover
the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate
toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.
16-4:12 And
it came to pass, that when the Jews which dwelt
by them came, they said unto us ten times, From all places whence ye shall
return unto us they will be upon you.
16-7:73 So
the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and some of the people, and the Nethinims,
and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when
the seventh month came, the children of Israel were in their cities.
16-11:1 And
the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the
rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem
the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in
other cities.
16-11:3 Now
these are the chief of the province
that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of
Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their
cities, to wit, Israel, the priests,
and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
16-11:4 And
at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin.
Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the
son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children
of Perez;
16-11:6 All
the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight
valiant men.
16-11:21 But
the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa
were over the Nethinims.
16-11:25 And
for the villages, with their fields, some
of the children of Judah dwelt at
Kirjatharba, and in the villages
thereof, and at Dibon, and in the
villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in
the villages thereof,
16-11:30 Zanoah,
Adullam, and in their villages, at
Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt
from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
16-11:31 The
children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and in their villages,
16-13:16 There
dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought
fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah,
and in Jerusalem.

the Jews of the villages, that dwelt in the
unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending
portions one to another.
18-22:8 But
as for the mighty man, he had the
earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it.
18-29:25 I
chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as
a king in the army, as one that comforteth
the mourners.
19-68:10 Thy
congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God,
hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
19-74:2 Remember
thy congregation, which thou hast
purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
19-94:17 Unless
the LORD had been my help, my soul
had almost dwelt in silence.

soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt
in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there;
neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David
dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill
sacrifices.
23-37:37 So
Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.
24-2:6 Neither
said they, Where is the LORD that
brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness,
through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the
shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
24-35:10 But
we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and
done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
24-39:14 Even
they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him
unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him
home: so he dwelt among the people.
24-40:6 Then
went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the
land.
24-41:17 And
they departed, and dwelt in the habitation of
Chimham, which is by Bethlehem, to go to enter into Egypt,
24-44:15 Then
all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and
all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered
Jeremiah, saying,
24-50:39 Therefore
the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein:
and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
26-3:15 Then
I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt
by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished
among them seven days.
26-31:6 All
the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did
all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
26-31:17 They
also went down into hell with him unto them
that be slain with the sword; and they
that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
26-36:17 Son
of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their
own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was
before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
26-37:25 And
they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein
your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell
therein, even they, and their
children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26-39:26 After
that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have
trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in
their land, and none made them afraid.
27-4:12 The
leaves thereof were fair, and the
fruit thereof much, and in it was meat
for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the
heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all
flesh was fed of it.
27-4:21 Whose
leaves were fair, and the fruit
thereof much, and in it was meat for
all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt,
and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:
36-2:15 This
is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place
for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
40-2:23 And
he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth:
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called
a Nazarene.
40-4:13 And
leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in
Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and
Nephthalim:
42-1:65 And
fear came on all that dwelt round about them:
and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of
Judaea.
42-13:4 Or
those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye
that they were sinners above all men that dwelt
in Jerusalem?
43-1:14 And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
43-1:39 He
saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about
the tenth hour.

he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto
our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this
land, wherein ye now dwell.

all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and
turned to the Lord.
44-11:29 Then
the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief
unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
44-13:17 The
God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when
they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt,
and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
44-19:10 And
this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both
Jews and Greeks.
44-22:12 And
one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the
Jews which dwelt there,
44-28:30 And
Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired
house, and received all that came in unto him,
55-1:5 When
I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother
Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
66-11:10 And
they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and
shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that
dwelt on the earth.

with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed
