in his course were twenty and four

eleventh captain for the eleventh

Abijah stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is
in mount Ephraim, and

14-15:8 And
when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took
courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and
Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of
the LORD, that was before the porch
of the LORD.
14-15:9 And
he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of

there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go

14-25:10 Then
Amaziah separated them, to wit, the
army that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore their anger was
greatly kindled against
14-25:23 And
Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son
of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the
wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
14-28:7 And

14-28:12 Then
certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son
of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai,
stood up against them that came from the war,
14-30:1 And
Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they
should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto
the LORD God of Israel.
14-30:10 So
the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto
Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
14-30:18 For
a multitude of the people, even many
of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar,
and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover
otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good

14-31:1 Now
when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities

brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had
gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all
Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.
16-8:16 So
the people went forth, and brought them, and
made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their
courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water
gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
24-31:6 For
there shall be a day, that the
watchmen upon the mount Ephraim
shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
24-31:9 They
shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause
them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not

28-5:11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken

will I be unto Ephraim as a

28-7:8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself
among the people; Ephraim is a

28-7:11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove

they are gone up to
28-8:11 Because
Ephraim hath made many altars to
sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
28-9:3 They

28-9:8 The
watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a
snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred
in the house of his God.
28-9:11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from
the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
28-9:13 Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his
children to the murderer.
28-9:16 Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried
up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
28-10:6 It

28-10:11 And
Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught,
and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her
fair neck: I will make Ephraim to

28-11:3 I
taught Ephraim also
to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
28-11:8 How
shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee,
28-11:9 I
will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will
not enter into the city.
28-11:12 Ephraim compasseth me about with
lies, and the house of
28-12:1 Ephraim feedeth on wind, and
followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and
they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into
28-12:8 And
Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich,
I have found me out substance: in all
my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.
28-12:14 Ephraim provoked him to anger most bitterly: therefore
shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord return unto
him.
28-13:1 When
Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted
himself in
28-13:12 The
iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.
28-14:8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy
fruit found.
31-1:19 And
they of the south shall possess the
mount of Esau; and they of the plain
the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of
38-9:10 And
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from
38-9:13 When
I have bent
38-10:7 And
they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their
children shall see it, and be glad;
their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
43-11:54 Jesus
therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country
near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.
