01-1:21 And God created
great whales, and every living creature that
moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it
was good.
01-1:25 And
God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind,
and every thing that creepeth upon the earth
after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
01-1:26 And
God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
01-1:28 And
God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and
replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea,
and over the fowl of the air, and over every
living thing that moveth upon the earth.
01-1:29 And
God said, Behold, I have given you every herb
bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree
yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
01-1:30 And
to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every
thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
01-1:31 And
God saw every thing that he had made, and,
behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
01-2:5 And
every plant of the field before it was in the
earth, and every herb of the field before it grew:
for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a
man to till the ground.
01-2:9 And
out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every
tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in
the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
01-2:16 And
the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every
tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
01-2:19 And
out of the ground the LORD God formed every
beast of the field, and every fowl of the air;
and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam
called every living creature, that was the name
thereof.
01-2:20 And
Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not
found an help meet for him.
01-3:1 Now
the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had
made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
01-3:14 And
the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art
cursed above all cattle, and above every beast
of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the
days of thy life:
01-3:24 So
he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the
01-4:14 Behold,
thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face
shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it
shall come to pass, that every one that findeth
me shall slay me.
01-4:22 And
Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every
artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
01-6:5 And
God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was
only evil continually.
01-6:17 And,
behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all
flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
01-6:19 And
of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them
alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
01-6:20 Of
fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two
of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them
alive.
01-7:2 Of
every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by
sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the
male and his female.
01-7:4 For
yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty
nights; and every living substance that I have
made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
01-7:8 Of
clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
01-7:14 They,
and every beast after his kind, and all the
cattle after their kind, and every creeping
thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every
fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
01-7:21 And
all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of
beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth, and every man:
01-7:23 And
every living substance was destroyed which was
upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and
the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained
alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
01-8:1 And
God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and
all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over
the earth, and the waters asswaged;
01-8:17 Bring
forth with thee every living thing that is with
thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may
breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
01-8:19 Every beast, every
creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever
creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
01-8:20 And
Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every
clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and
offered burnt offerings on the altar.
01-8:21 And
the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not
again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s
heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
01-9:2 And
the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every
beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the
air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea;
into your hand are they delivered.
01-9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you;
even as the green herb have I given you all things.
01-9:5 And
surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man;
at the hand of every man’s brother will I
require the life of man.
01-9:10 And
with every living creature that is with you, of
the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of
the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
01-9:12 And
God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and
every living creature that is with you, for
perpetual generations:
01-9:15 And
I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters
shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
01-9:16 And
the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every
living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
01-10:5 By
these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in
their nations.
01-13:10 And
Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well
watered every where, before the LORD destroyed
Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as
thou comest unto Zoar.
01-16:12 And
he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every
man, and every man’s hand against him; and he
shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
01-17:10 This
is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after
thee; Every man child among you shall be
circumcised.
01-17:12 And
he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born
in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
01-17:23 And
Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that
were bought with his money, every male among the
men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the
selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
01-19:4 But
before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of
01-20:13 And
it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I
said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my
brother.
01-27:29 Let
people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and
let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every
one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.
01-30:33 So
shall my righteousness answer for me in time to come, when it shall come for my
hire before thy face: every one that is not
speckled and spotted among the goats, and brown among the sheep, that shall be
counted stolen with me.
01-30:35 And
he removed that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the
she goats that were speckled and spotted, and every
one that had some white in it, and all the brown among the sheep, and gave them
into the hand of his sons.
01-32:16 And
he delivered them into the hand of his servants, every
drove by themselves; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and put a
space betwixt drove and drove.
01-34:15 But
in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised;
01-34:22 Only
herein will the men consent unto us for to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are
circumcised.
01-34:23 Shall
not their cattle and their substance and every
beast of theirs be ours? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell
with us.
01-34:24 And
unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of
his city; and every male was circumcised, all
that went out of the gate of his city.
01-41:48 And
he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of
Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was
round about every city, laid he up in the same.
01-42:25 Then
Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man’s money into his sack, and to give them
provision for the way: and thus did he unto them.
01-42:35 And
it came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man’s bundle of money was in his sack: and when
both they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.
01-43:21 And
it came to pass, when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and,
behold, every man’s money was in the mouth of
his sack, our money in full weight: and we have brought it again in our hand.
01-44:1 And
he commanded the steward of his house, saying, Fill the men’s sacks with food,
as much as they can carry, and put every man’s
money in his sack’s mouth.
01-44:11 Then
they speedily took down every man his sack to
the ground, and opened every man his sack.
01-44:13 Then
they rent their clothes, and laded every man his
ass, and returned to the city.
01-45:1 Then
Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he
cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And
there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.
01-46:34 That
ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even
until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the

Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every
son that is born ye shall cast into the river, and every
daughter ye shall save alive.
02-3:22 But
every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and
of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and
raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye
shall spoil the Egyptians.
02-7:12 For
they cast down every man his rod, and they
became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.
02-9:19 Send
therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for
upon every man and beast which shall be found in
the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them,
and they shall die.
02-9:22 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there
may be hail in all the
02-9:25 And
the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both
man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of
the field, and brake every tree of the field.
02-10:5 And
they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the
earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth
unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree
which groweth for you out of the field:

the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the

they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and
they did eat every herb of the land, and all the

02-12:4 And
if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next
unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your
count for the lamb.
02-12:16 And
in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day
there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in
them, save that which every man must eat, that
only may be done of you.
02-12:44 But
every man’s servant that is bought for money,
when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
02-13:12 That
thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou
hast; the males shall be the LORD’S.
02-13:13 And
every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with
a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all
the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
02-14:7 And
he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and
captains over every one of them.
02-16:4 Then
said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and
the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every
day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
02-16:16 This
is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons;
take ye every man for them which are in his
tents.
02-16:18 And
when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and
he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every
man according to his eating.
02-16:21 And
they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun
waxed hot, it melted.
02-16:29 See,
for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the
sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every
man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
02-18:22 And
let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be
easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.
02-18:26 And
they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses,
but every small matter they judged themselves.
02-25:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye
shall take my offering.
02-26:2 The
length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one
curtain four cubits: and every one of the
curtains shall have one measure.
02-27:18 The
length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits of fine twined
linen, and their sockets of brass.
02-28:21 And
the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according
to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every
one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.
02-29:36 And
thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin
offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made
an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
02-30:7 And
Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every
morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
02-30:12 When
thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall
they give every man a ransom for his soul unto
the LORD, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when
thou numberest them.
02-30:13 This
they shall give, every one that passeth among
them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a
shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.
02-30:14 Every one that passeth among them that are numbered,
from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.
02-31:14 Ye
shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:
for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his
people.
02-32:27 And
he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out
from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every
man his brother, and every man his companion,
and every man his neighbour.
02-32:29 For
Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he
may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
02-33:7 And
Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the
camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass,
that every one which sought the LORD went out
unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
02-33:8 And
it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people
rose up, and stood every man at his tent door,
and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
02-33:10 And
all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the
people rose up and worshipped, every man in his
tent door.
02-34:19 All
that openeth the matrix is mine; and every
firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
02-35:10 And
every wise hearted among you shall come, and
make all that the LORD hath commanded;
02-35:21 And
they came, every one whose heart stirred him up,
and every one whom his spirit made willing, and
they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the
congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
02-35:22 And
they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought
bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold
unto the LORD.
02-35:23 And
every man, with whom was found blue, and purple,
and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and
badgers’ skins, brought them.
02-35:24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and
brass brought the Lord’s offering: and every
man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
02-35:29 The
children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to
bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the
hand of Moses.
02-36:1 Then
wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted
man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all
manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD
had commanded.
02-36:2 And
Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every
wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the
work to do it:
02-36:3 And
they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had
brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And
they brought yet unto him free offerings every
morning.
02-36:4 And
all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
02-36:8 And
every wise hearted man among them that wrought
the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue,
and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
02-36:30 And
there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver,
under every board two sockets.
02-38:26 A bekah for every
man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years
old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred
and fifty men.
02-39:14 And
the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve,
according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve
tribes.
03-2:13 And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season
with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be
lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
03-6:12 And
the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and
the priest shall burn wood on it every morning,
and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat
of the peace offerings.
03-6:18 All
the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute
for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire:
every one that toucheth them shall be holy.
03-6:23 For
every meat offering for the priest shall be
wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.
03-7:6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it
shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.
03-7:10 And
every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry,
shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
03-11:15 Every raven after his kind;
03-11:21 Yet
these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing
that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon
the earth;
03-11:26 The
carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof,
and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
03-11:33 And
every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them
falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
03-11:34 Of
all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean:
and all drink that may be drunk in every such
vessel shall be unclean.
03-11:35 And
every thing whereupon any part of their carcase
falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be
broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
03-11:41 And
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the
earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
03-11:46 This
is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every
living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every
creature that creepeth upon the earth:
03-15:4 Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is
unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth,
shall be unclean.
03-15:12 And
the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken:
and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in
water.
03-15:17 And
every garment, and every
skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be
unclean until the even.
03-15:20 And
every thing that she lieth upon in her
separation shall be unclean: every thing also
that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
03-15:26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue
shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon
shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
03-17:15 And
every soul that eateth that which died of
itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own
country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in
water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
03-19:3 Ye
shall fear every man his mother, and his father,
and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.
03-19:8 Therefore
every one that eateth it shall bear his
iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that
soul shall be cut off from among his people.
03-19:10 And
thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for
the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.
03-20:9 For
every one that curseth his father or his mother
shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his
blood shall be upon him.
03-23:37 These
are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to
offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat
offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every
thing upon his day:
03-24:8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD
continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting
covenant.
03-25:10 And
ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land
unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall
return every man unto his possession, and ye
shall return every man unto his family.
03-25:13 In
the year of this jubile ye shall return every
man unto his possession.
03-27:28 Notwithstanding
no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath,
both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or
redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto
the LORD.
04-1:2 Take ye
the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their
families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
04-1:4 And
with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
04-1:20 And
the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their
families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names,
by their polls, every male from twenty years old
and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:22 Of
the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the
house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the
number of the names, by their polls, every male
from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:52 And
the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every
man by his own camp, and every man by his own
standard, throughout their hosts.
04-2:2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his
own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the
tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
04-2:17 Then
the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the
Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
04-2:34 And
the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so
they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house
of their fathers.
04-3:15 Number
the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou
number them.
04-4:19 But
thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the
most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
04-4:30 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the
work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:35 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every
one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the
congregation:
04-4:39 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every
one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the
congregation,
04-4:43 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every
one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:47 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every
one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden
in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:49 According
to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to
his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
04-5:2 Command
the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every
leper, and every one that hath an issue, and
whosoever is defiled by the dead:
04-5:9 And
every offering of all the holy things of the
children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
04-5:10 And
every man’s hallowed things shall be his:
whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
04-7:5 Take
it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the
congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
04-8:16 For
they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of
such as open every womb, even instead of the
firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
04-8:17 For
all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on
the day that I smote every firstborn in the land
of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
04-11:10 Then
Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every
man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly;
Moses also was displeased.
04-13:2 Send
thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the
children of Israel: of every tribe of their
fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler
among them.
04-15:12 According
to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every
one according to their number.
04-16:3 And
they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said
unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them:
wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
04-16:17 And
take every man his censer, and put incense in
them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his
censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his
censer.
04-16:18 And
they took every man his censer, and put fire in
them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation with Moses and Aaron.
04-16:27 So
they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood
in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little
children.
04-17:2 Speak
unto the children of Israel, and take of every
one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes
according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
04-17:6 And
Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every
one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to
their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their
rods.
04-17:9 And
Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of
Israel: and they looked, and took every man his
rod.
04-18:7 Therefore
thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye
shall serve: I have given your priest’s office unto you as a service of gift:
and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-18:9 This
shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every
meat offering of theirs and every sin offering
of theirs, and every trespass offering of
theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for
thy sons.
04-18:10 In
the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every
male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee.
04-18:11 And
this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of
the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy
daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every
one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.
04-18:13 And
whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD,
shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine
house shall eat of it.
04-18:15 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh,
which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine:
nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling
of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
04-18:29 Out
of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave
offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof
out of it.
04-18:31 And
ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your
households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the
congregation.
04-19:15 And
every open vessel, which hath no covering bound
upon it, is unclean.
04-21:8 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole:
and it shall come to pass, that every one that
is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
04-23:2 And
Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.
04-23:4 And
God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have
offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
04-23:14 And
he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven
altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every
altar.
04-23:30 And
Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
04-25:5 And
Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every
one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.
04-26:54 To
many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less
inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance
be given according to those that were numbered of him.
04-28:10 This
is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside
the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
04-28:14 And
their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the
third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this
is the burnt offering of every month throughout
the months of the year.
04-28:21 A
several tenth deal shalt thou offer for every
lamb, throughout the seven lambs:
04-29:14 And
their meat offering shall be of flour mingled with oil, three tenth deals unto every bullock of the thirteen bullocks, two tenth
deals to each ram of the two rams,
04-30:4 And
her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her
father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall
stand.
04-30:9 But
every vow of a widow, and of her that is
divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
04-30:11 And
her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then
all her vows shall stand, and every bond
wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
04-30:13 Every vow, and every
binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband
may make it void.
04-31:4 Of
every tribe a thousand, throughout all the
tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.
04-31:5 So
there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
04-31:6 And
Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every
tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the
holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.
04-31:17 Now
therefore kill every male among the little ones,
and kill every woman that hath known man by
lying with him.
04-31:23 Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it
go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified
with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make
go through the water.
04-31:50 We
have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every
man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and
tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
04-31:53 (For
the men of war had taken spoil, every man for
himself.)
04-32:18 We
will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.
04-32:27 But
thy servants will pass over, every man armed for
war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.
04-32:29 And
Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will
pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to
battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye
shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:
04-33:54 And
ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to
the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the
less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall
be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers
ye shall inherit.
04-34:18 And
ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to
divide the land by inheritance.
04-35:8 And
the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of
Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have
few ye shall give few: every one shall give of
his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.
04-35:15 These
six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the
stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every
one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.
04-36:7 So
shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe:
for every one of the children of Israel shall
keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
04-36:8 And
every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance
in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of
the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.
04-36:9 Neither
shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel
shall keep himself to his own inheritance.
05-1:16 And I
charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your
brethren, and judge righteously between every
man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.
05-1:22 And
ye came near unto me every one of you, and said,
We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us
word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.
05-1:41 Then
ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up
and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had
girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were
ready to go up into the hill.
05-2:34 And
we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the
women, and the little ones, of every city, we
left none to remain:
05-3:6 And
we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly
destroying the men, women, and children, of every
city.
05-3:20 Until
the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until
they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond
Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto
his possession, which I have given you.
05-4:4 But
ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every
one of you this day.
05-8:3 And
he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which
thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know
that man doth not live by bread only, but by every
word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
05-11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread
shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river
Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
05-12:2 Ye
shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall
possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and
under every green tree:
05-12:8 Ye
shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
05-12:13 Take
heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
05-12:31 Thou
shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every
abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even
their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
05-13:16 And
thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and
shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an
heap for ever; it shall not be built again.
05-14:6 And
every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth
the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall
eat.
05-14:14 And
every raven after his kind,
05-14:19 And
every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto
you: they shall not be eaten.
05-15:1 At
the end of every seven years thou shalt make a
release.
05-15:2 And
this is the manner of the release: Every
creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not
exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD’S
release.
05-16:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the
blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
05-19:3 Thou
shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy
God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every
slayer may flee thither.
05-20:13 And
when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
05-21:5 And
the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath
chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their
word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried:
05-23:9 When
the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
05-24:16 The
fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children
be put to death for the fathers: every man shall
be put to death for his own sin.
05-26:11 And
thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the
LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite,
and the stranger that is among you.
05-28:61 Also
every sickness, and every
plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring
upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
05-30:9 And
the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every
work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle,
and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over
thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
05-31:10 And
Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every
seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of
tabernacles,
05-33:3 Yea,
he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy
feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
06-1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon,
that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
06-3:12 Now
therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man.
06-4:2 Take
you twelve men out of the people, out of every
tribe a man,
06-4:4 Then
Joshua called the twelve men, whom he had prepared of the children of Israel,
out of every tribe a man:
06-4:5 And
Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the
midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of
you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the
children of Israel:
06-4:10 For
the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded
Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua:
and the people hasted and passed over.
06-6:5 And
it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn,
and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a
great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people
shall ascend up every man straight before him.
06-6:20 So
the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to
pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted
with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up
into the city, every man straight before him,
and they took the city.
06-11:14 And
all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a
prey unto themselves; but every man they smote
with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they
any to breathe.
06-21:42 These
cities were every one with their suburbs round
about them: thus were all these cities.
06-24:28 So
Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his
inheritance.
07-2:6 And
when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land.
07-5:30 Have
they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every
man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers
colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for
the necks of them that take the spoil?
07-7:5 So
he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue,
as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink.
07-7:7 And
the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save
you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people
go every man unto his place.
07-7:8 So
the people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the
rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and
retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the
valley.
07-7:16 And
he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps
within the pitchers.
07-7:18 When
I blow with a trumpet, I and all that are with me, then blow ye the trumpets
also on every side of all the camp, and say, The
sword of the LORD, and of Gideon.
07-7:21 And
they stood every man in his place round about
the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
07-7:22 And
the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every
man’s sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled
to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.
07-8:24 And
Gideon said unto them, I would desire a request of you, that ye would give me every man the earrings of his prey. (For they had
golden earrings, because they were Ishmaelites.)
07-8:25 And
they answered, We will willingly give them. And they spread a garment, and did
cast therein every man the earrings of his prey.
07-8:34 And
the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them
out of the hands of all their enemies on every
side:
07-9:49 And
all the people likewise cut down every man his
bough, and followed Abimelech, and put them to the hold, and set the hold on
fire upon them; so that all the men of the tower of Shechem died also, about a
thousand men and women.
07-9:55 And
when the men of Israel saw that Abimelech was dead, they departed every man unto his place.
07-16:5 And
the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him,
and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail
against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.
07-17:6 In
those days there was no king in Israel, but every
man did that which was right in his own eyes.
07-20:16 Among
all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and
not miss.
07-20:48 And
the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and smote them
with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every
city, as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the
cities that they came to.
07-21:11 And
this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every
woman that hath lain by man.
07-21:21 And
see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then
come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every
man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
07-21:24 And
the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every
man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance.
07-21:25 In
those days there was no king in Israel: every
man did that which was right in his own eyes.
09-2:36 And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver
and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the
priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.
09-3:11 And
the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the
ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
09-3:18 And
Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from
him. And he said, It is the LORD: let
him do what seemeth him good.
09-4:10 And
the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great
slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.
09-8:22 And
the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And
Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every
man unto his city.
09-10:25 Then
Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent
all the people away, every man to his house.
09-12:11 And
the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you
out of the hand of your enemies on every side,
and ye dwelled safe.
09-13:2 Saul
chose him three thousand men of
Israel; whereof two thousand were
with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in
Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every
man to his tent.
09-13:20 But
all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his ax, and
his mattock.
09-14:20 And
Saul and all the people that were with
him assembled themselves, and they came to the battle: and, behold, every man’s sword was against his fellow, and there was a very great discomfiture.
09-14:34 And
Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me
hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the
blood. And all the people brought every man his
ox with him that night, and slew them there.
09-14:47 So
Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against the children of
Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the
Philistines: and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them.
09-15:9 But
Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen,
and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that
was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every
thing that was vile and refuse, that
they destroyed utterly.
09-20:15 But
also thou shalt not cut off thy
kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the enemies
of David every one from the face of the earth.
09-22:2 And
every one that
was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented,
gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were
with him about four hundred men.
09-22:7 Then
Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will
the son of Jesse give every one of you fields
and vineyards, and make you all
captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
09-23:14 And
David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in
the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every
day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
09-25:10 And
Nabal answered David’s servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the
son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master.
09-25:13 And
David said unto his men, Gird ye on every man
his sword. And they girded on every man his
sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about
four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.
09-26:23 The
LORD render to every man his righteousness and
his faithfulness: for the LORD delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the
LORD’S anointed.
09-27:3 And
David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every
man with his household, even David
with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess,
Nabal’s wife.
09-30:6 And
David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the
soul of all the people was grieved, every man
for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD
his God.
09-30:22 Then
answered all the wicked men and men of
Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us,
we will not give them ought of the
spoil that we have recovered, save to every man
his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.
10-2:3 And
his men that were with him did David
bring up, every man with his household: and they
dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
10-2:16 And
they caught every one his fellow by the head,
and thrust his sword in his fellow’s
side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called
Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
10-2:27 And
Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou
hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
10-6:19 And
he dealt among all the people, even among
the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
10-13:9 And
she took a pan, and poured them out
before him; but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have out all men from me.
And they went out every man from him.
10-13:29 And
the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the
king’s sons arose, and every man gat him up upon
his mule, and fled.
10-13:37 But
Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.
10-14:26 And
when he polled his head, (for it was at every
year’s end that he polled it: because
the hair was heavy on him, therefore
he polled it:) he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the
king’s weight.
10-15:4 Absalom
said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto
me, and I would do him justice!
10-15:30 And
David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet,
and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all
the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they
went up.
10-15:36 Behold,
they have there with them their two
sons, Ahimaaz Zadok’s son, and
Jonathan Abiathar’s son; and by them
ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can
hear.
10-18:17 And
they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very
great heap of stones upon him: and all Israel fled every
one to his tent.
10-19:8 Then
the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying,
Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king:
for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
10-20:1 And
there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet,
and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of
Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.
10-20:2 So
every man of Israel went up from after David, and followed Sheba the son of Bichri:
but the men of Judah clave unto their king, from Jordan even to Jerusalem.
10-20:12 And
Amasa wallowed in blood in the midst of the highway. And when the man saw that
all the people stood still, he removed Amasa out of the highway into the field,
and cast a cloth upon him, when he saw that every
one that came by him stood still.
10-20:22 Then
the woman went unto all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of
Sheba the son of Bichri, and cast it out
to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired from the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem
unto the king.
10-21:20 And
there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also
was born to the giant.
11-1:49 And
all the guests that were with
Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every
man his way.
11-4:25 And
Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under
his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of
Solomon.
11-4:27 And
those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto
king Solomon’s table, every man in his month:
they lacked nothing.
11-4:28 Barley
also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where
the officers were, every man according to his charge.
11-5:3 Thou
knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the
LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every
side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
11-5:4 But
now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every
side, so that there is neither
adversary nor evil occurrent.
11-7:30 And
every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of
brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of
every addition.
11-7:36 For
on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved
cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.
11-7:38 Then
made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every
laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.
11-8:38 What
prayer and supplication soever be made by
any man, or by all thy people Israel,
which shall know every man the plague of his own
heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
11-8:39 Then
hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou
knowest; (for thou, even thou only,
knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)
11-9:8 And
at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and
shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and
to this house?
11-10:25 And
they brought every man his present, vessels of
silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and
mules, a rate year by year.
11-11:15 For
it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was
gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every
male in Edom;
11-11:16 (For
six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom:)
11-12:24 Thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the
children of Israel: return every man to his
house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the
LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
11-14:23 For
they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every
green tree.
11-19:18 Yet
I have left me seven thousand in
Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
11-20:20 And
they slew every one his man: and the Syrians
fled; and Israel pursued them: and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an
horse with the horsemen.
11-20:24 And
do this thing, Take the kings away, every man
out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
11-22:17 And
he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a
shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
11-22:28 And
Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me.
And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of
you.
11-22:36 And
there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun,
saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.
12-3:19 And
ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
12-3:25 And
they beat down the cities, and on every good
piece of land cast every man his stone, and
filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good
trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers
went about it, and smote it.
12-6:2 Let
us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every
man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he
answered, Go ye.
12-8:9 So
Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden,
and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath
sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
12-9:13 Then
they hasted, and took every man his garment, and
put it under him on the top of the
stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.
12-11:8 And
ye shall compass the king round about, every man
with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be
slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.
12-11:9 And
the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath,
with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.
12-11:11 And
the guard stood, every man with his weapons in
his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left
corner of the temple, along by the
altar and the temple.
12-12:4 And
Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is
brought into the house of the LORD, even the
money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is set at, and all the money that cometh into any man’s heart to bring into
the house of the LORD,
12-12:5 Let
the priests take it to them, every man of his acquaintance: and let them repair the
breaches of the house, wheresoever any breach shall be found.
12-14:6 But
the children of the murderers he slew not: according unto that which is written
in the book of the law of Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, saying, The
fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to
death for the fathers; but every man shall be
put to death for his own sin.
12-14:12 And
Judah was put to the worse before Israel; and they fled every man to their tents.
12-16:4 And
he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under
every green tree.
12-17:10 And
they set them up images and groves in every high
hill, and under every green tree:
12-17:29 Howbeit
every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places
which the Samaritans had made, every nation in
their cities wherein they dwelt.
12-18:31 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every
man of his own vine, and every one of his fig
tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his
cistern:
12-23:35 And
Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to
give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted the silver
and the gold of the people of the land, of every
one according to his taxation, to give it
unto Pharaohnechoh.
12-25:9 And
he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king’s house, and all the houses of
Jerusalem, and every great man’s house burnt he with fire.
12-25:30 And
his allowance was a continual
allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every
day, all the days of his life.
13-9:27 And
they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained
to them.
13-9:32 And
other of their brethren, of the sons
of the Kohathites, were over the
shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
13-13:1 And
David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every
leader.
13-13:2 And
David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that
it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that
are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which
are in their cities and suburbs,
that they may gather themselves unto us:
13-16:3 And
he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and
woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good
piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
13-16:37 So
he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his
brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every
day’s work required:
13-16:43 And
all the people departed every man to his house:
and David returned to bless his house.
13-22:15 Moreover
there are workmen with thee in
abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning
men for every manner of work.
13-22:18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and
hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the
land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his
people.
13-23:30 And
to stand every morning to thank and praise the
LORD, and likewise at even;
13-26:13 And
they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their
fathers, for every gate.
13-26:32 And
his brethren, men of valour, were two
thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the
Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the
king.
13-27:1 Now
the children of Israel after their number, to
wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their
officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and
went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were
twenty and four thousand.
13-28:14 He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of
all manner of service; silver also for
all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service:
13-28:15 Even
the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight
for every candlestick, and for the lamps
thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also
for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every
candlestick.
13-28:16 And
by weight he gave gold for the tables
of shewbread, for every table; and likewise silver for the tables of
silver:
13-28:17 Also
pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden
basons he gave gold by weight for every bason; and likewise
silver by weight for every bason of silver:
13-28:21 And,
behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service:
also the princes and all the people will
be wholly at thy commandment.
14-1:2 Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the
captains of thousands and of hundreds, and
to the judges, and to every governor in all
Israel, the chief of the fathers.
14-2:14 The
son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in
brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen,
and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy
cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father.
14-6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy
people Israel, when every one shall know his own
sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
14-6:30 Then
hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart
thou knowest; (for thou only knowest the hearts of the children of men:)
14-7:21 And
this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every
one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto
this land, and unto this house?
14-8:13 Even
after a certain rate every day, offering
according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons,
and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks,
and in the feast of tabernacles.
14-8:14 And
he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the
priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and
minister before the priests, as the duty of every
day required: the porters also by their courses at every
gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
14-9:21 For
the king’s ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish
bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
14-9:24 And
they brought every man his present, vessels of
silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and
mules, a rate year by year.
14-10:16 And
when all Israel saw that the king
would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion
have we in David? and we have none
inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to
your tents, O Israel: and now, David,
see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.
14-11:4 Thus
saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me.
And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against
Jeroboam.
14-11:12 And
in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having
Judah and Benjamin on his side.
14-11:23 And
he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries
of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city:
and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.
14-13:11 And
they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the
shewbread also set they in order upon
the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our
God; but ye have forsaken him.
14-14:7 Therefore
he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars,
while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have
sought him, and he hath given us rest
on every side. So they built and prospered.
14-18:16 Then
he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have
no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every
man to his house in peace.
14-20:23 For
the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir,
utterly to slay and destroy them: and
when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every
one helped to destroy another.
14-20:27 Then
they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem,
and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy;
for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
14-23:7 And
the Levites shall compass the king round about, every
man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye
with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.
14-23:8 So
the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest
had commanded, and took every man his men that
were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the
courses.
14-23:10 And
he set all the people, every man having his
weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the
temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
14-25:4 But
he slew not their children, but did as
it is written in the law in the book
of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the
children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.
14-25:22 And
Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.
14-28:4 He
sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and
under every green tree.
14-28:24 And
Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the
vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD,
and he made him altars in every corner of
Jerusalem.
14-28:25 And
in every several city of Judah he made high
places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of
his fathers.
14-29:35 And
also the burnt offerings were in
abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt
offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
14-30:17 For
there were many in the congregation
that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing
of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
14-30:18 For
a multitude of the people, even many
of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves,
yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah
prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every
one
14-31:1 Now
when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities
of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw
down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim
also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the
children of Israel returned, every man to his
possession, into their own cities.
14-31:2 And
Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their
courses, every man according to his service, the
priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister,
and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
14-31:16 Beside
their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth
into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their
charges according to their courses;
14-31:19 Also
of the sons of Aaron the priests, which
were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by
name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were
reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
14-31:21 And
in every work that he began in the service of
the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he
did it with all his heart, and
prospered.
14-32:22 Thus
the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of
Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every
side.
14-35:15 And
the singers the sons of Asaph were in
their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and
Jeduthun the king’s seer; and the porters waited
at every gate; they might not depart from
their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
15-2:1 Now
these are the children of the
province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried
away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and
came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one
unto his city;
15-3:4 They
kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it
is written, and offered the daily
burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;
15-3:5 And
afterward offered the continual burnt
offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the LORD that
were consecrated, and of every one that
willingly offered a freewill offering unto the LORD.
15-6:5 And
also let the golden and silver vessels of the house of God, which
Nebuchadnezzar took forth out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, be restored, and brought
again unto the temple which is at
Jerusalem, every
one to his place, and place them in
the house of God.
15-8:34 By number and
by weight of every one: and all the weight
was written at that time.
15-9:4 Then
were assembled unto me every one that trembled
at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression of those that
had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.
15-10:14 Let
now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken
strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders
of every city, and the judges thereof, until the
fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.
16-3:28 From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.
16-4:15 And
it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had
brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
16-4:17 They
which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with
one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
16-4:18 For
the builders, every one had his sword girded by
his side, and so builded. And he that
sounded the trumpet was by me.
16-4:22 Likewise
at the same time said I unto the people, Let every
one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a
guard to us, and labour on the day.
16-4:23 So
neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which
followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off
for washing.
16-5:7 Then
I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said
unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his
brother. And I set a great assembly against them.
16-5:13 Also
I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every
man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even
thus be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and
praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
16-7:3 And
I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be
hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar them: and appoint watches of the
inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his
watch, and every one to be over against his house.
16-7:6 These
are the children of the province,
that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to
Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;
16-8:16 So
the people went forth, and brought them, and
made themselves booths, every one upon the roof
of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and
in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.
16-10:28 And
the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the
Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the
lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
16-10:31 And
if the people of the land bring ware
or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that
we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year,
and the exaction of every debt.
16-11:3 Now
these are the chief of the province
that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the
Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
16-11:20 And
the residue of Israel, of the priests, and
the Levites, were in all the
cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
16-11:23 For
it was the king’s commandment concerning
them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
16-12:47 And
all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the
portions of the singers and the porters, every
day his portion: and they sanctified holy
things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
16-13:10 And
I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers,
that did the work, were fled every one to his field.
16-13:30 Thus
cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and
the Levites, every one in his business;
17-1:8 And
the drinking was according to the law;
none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his
house, that they should do according to every
man’s pleasure.
17-1:22 For
he sent letters into all the king’s provinces, into every
province according to the writing thereof, and to every
people after their language, that every man
should bear rule in his own house, and that it
should be published according to the language of every
people.
17-2:11 And
Mordecai walked every day before the court of
the women’s house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
17-2:12 Now
when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king
Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of
the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh,
and six months with sweet odours, and with other
things for the purifying of the women;)
17-2:13 Then
thus came every
maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her
out of the house of the women unto the king’s house.
17-3:12 Then
were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and
there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s
lieutenants, and to the governors that were
over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every
province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their
language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the
king’s ring.
17-3:14 The
copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every
province was published unto all people, that they should be ready against that
day.
17-4:3 And
in every province, whithersoever the king’s
commandment and his decree came, there
was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing;
and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
17-6:13 And
Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every
thing that had befallen him. Then
said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom
thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely
fall before him.
17-8:9 Then
were the king’s scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and
twentieth day thereof; and it was
written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the
lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred
twenty and seven provinces, unto every province
according to the writing thereof, and unto every
people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and
according to their language.
17-8:11 Wherein
the king granted the Jews which were in
every city to gather themselves together, and to
stand for their life, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all the
power of the people and province that would assault them, both little ones and women, and to
take the spoil of them for a prey,
17-8:13 The
copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every
province was published unto all
people, and that the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves
on their enemies.
17-8:17 And
in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and
his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And
many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon
them.
17-9:27 The
Jews ordained, and took upon them, and upon their seed, and upon all such as
joined themselves unto them, so as it should not fail, that they would keep
these two days according to their writing, and according to their appointed time every
year;
17-9:28 And
that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every
generation, every family, every province, and every
city; and that these days of Purim
should not fail from among the Jews, nor the memorial of them perish from their
seed.
18-1:4 And
his sons went and feasted in their houses, every
one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink
with them.
18-1:10 Hast
not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he
hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work
of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
18-2:11 Now
when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they
came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the
Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made
an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.
18-2:12 And
when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their
voice, and wept; and they rent every one his
mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.
18-7:18 And
that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and
try him every moment?
18-12:10 In
whose hand is the soul of every living thing,
and the breath of all mankind.
18-18:11 Terrors
shall make him afraid on every side, and shall
drive him to his feet.
18-19:10 He
hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone:
and mine hope hath he removed like a tree.
18-20:22 In
the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every
hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
18-21:33 The
clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every
man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him.
18-24:6 They
reap every one his corn in the field: and they
gather the vintage of the wicked.
18-28:10 He
cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every
precious thing.
18-34:11 For
the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every
man to find according to his ways.
18-36:25 Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
18-37:7 He
sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men
may know his work.
18-39:8 The
range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
18-40:11 Cast
abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every
one that is proud, and abase him.
18-40:12 Look
on every one that is proud, and bring him low;
and tread down the wicked in their place.
18-42:2 I
know that thou canst do every thing, and that no
thought can be withholden from thee.
18-42:11 Then
came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that
had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house:
and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had
brought upon him: every man also gave him a
piece of money, and every one an earring of
gold.
19-7:11 God
judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
19-12:2 They
speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with
flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
19-12:8 The
wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men
are exalted.
19-29:9 The
voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and
in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
19-31:13 For
I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every
side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my
life.
19-32:6 For
this shall every one that is godly pray unto
thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters
they shall not come nigh unto him.
19-39:5 Behold,
thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before
thee: verily every man at his best state is
altogether vanity. Selah.
19-39:6 Surely
every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they
are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather
them.
19-39:11 When
thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to
consume away like a moth: surely every man is
vanity. Selah.
19-50:10 For
every beast of the forest is mine, and the
cattle upon a thousand hills.
19-53:3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether
become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
19-56:5 Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are
against me for evil.
19-58:8 As
a snail which melteth, let every one of them
pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
19-62:12 Also
unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
19-63:11 But
the king shall rejoice in God; every one that
sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be
stopped.
19-64:6 They
search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward
thought of every one of them, and the heart, is
deep.
19-65:12 They
drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
19-68:30 Rebuke
the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the
people, till every one submit himself with
pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.
19-69:34 Let
the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every
thing that moveth therein.
19-71:18 Now
also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed
thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every
one that is to come.
19-71:21 Thou
shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every
side.
19-73:14 For
all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every
morning.
19-84:7 They
go from strength to strength, every one of them
in Zion appeareth before God.
19-92:2 To
shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
19-104:11 They
give drink to every beast of the field: the wild
asses quench their thirst.
19-115:8 They
that make them are like unto them; so is every
one that trusteth in them.
19-119:101 I
have refrained my feet from every evil way, that
I might keep thy word.
19-119:104 Through
thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every
false way.
19-119:128 Therefore
I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
19-119:160 Thy
word is true from the beginning: and every one
of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
19-128:1 Blessed
is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh
in his ways.
19-135:18 They
that make them are like unto them: so is every
one that trusteth in them.
19-145:2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy
name for ever and ever.
19-145:16 Thou
openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every
living thing.
19-150:6 Let
every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.
Praise ye the LORD.
20-1:19 So
are the ways of every one that is greedy of
gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
20-2:9 Then
shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
20-3:18 She
is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
20-7:12 Now
is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
20-13:16 Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool
layeth open his folly.
20-14:1 Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish
plucketh it down with her hands.
20-14:15 The
simple believeth every word: but the prudent man
looketh well to his going.
20-15:3 The
eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding
the evil and the good.
20-16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to
the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
20-19:6 Many
will intreat the favour of the prince: and every
man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
20-20:3 It
is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every
fool will be meddling.
20-20:6 Most
men will proclaim every one his own goodness:
but a faithful man who can find?
20-20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good
advice make war.
20-21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the
LORD pondereth the hearts.
20-21:5 The
thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
20-24:12 If
thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart
consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not
he render to every man according to his works?
20-24:26 Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right
answer.
20-27:7 The
full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
20-27:24 For
riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every
generation?
20-29:26 Many
seek the ruler’s favour; but every man’s
judgment cometh from the LORD.
20-30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them
that put their trust in him.
21-3:1 To
every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
21-3:11 He
hath made every thing beautiful in his time:
also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work
that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
21-3:13 And
also that every man should eat and drink, and
enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
21-3:17 I
said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is
a time there for every purpose and for every work.
21-4:4 Again,
I considered all travail, and every right work,
that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and
vexation of spirit.
21-5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and
wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and
to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
21-8:6 Because
to every purpose there is time and judgment,
therefore the misery of man is great upon him.
21-8:9 All
this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every
work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over
another to his own hurt.
21-10:3 Yea
also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he
saith to every one that he is a fool.
21-10:15 The
labour of the foolish wearieth every one of
them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
21-12:14 For
God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it
be evil.
22-3:8 They
all hold swords, being expert in war: every man
hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night.
22-4:2 Thy
teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the
washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none
is barren among them.
22-6:6 Thy
teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren
among them.
22-8:11 Solomon
had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a
thousand pieces of silver.
23-1:23 Thy
princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every
one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless,
neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.
23-2:12 For
the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every
one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one
that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
23-2:15 And
upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
23-3:5 And
the people shall be oppressed, every one by
another, and every one by his neighbour: the
child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against
the honourable.
23-4:3 And
it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in
Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one
that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
23-4:5 And
the LORD will create upon every dwelling place
of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the
shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
23-7:22 And
it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall
eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one
eat that is left in the land.
23-7:23 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that every
place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it
shall even be for briers and thorns.
23-9:5 For
every battle of the warrior is with confused
noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of
fire.
23-9:17 Therefore
the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on
their fatherless and widows: for every one is an
hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth
speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is
stretched out still.
23-9:20 And
he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left
hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every
man the flesh of his own arm:
23-13:7 Therefore
shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart
shall melt:
23-13:14 And
it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall
every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
23-13:15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the
sword.
23-14:18 All
the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.
23-15:2 He
is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl
over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.
23-15:3 In
their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their
houses, and in their streets, every one shall
howl, weeping abundantly.
23-16:7 Therefore
shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl:
for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.
23-19:2 And
I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city,
and kingdom against kingdom.
23-19:7 The
paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be
driven away, and be no more.
23-19:14 The
LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused
Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken
man staggereth in his vomit.
23-19:17 And
the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every
one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the
counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
23-24:10 The
city of confusion is broken down: every house is
shut up, that no man may come in.
23-27:3 I
the LORD do keep it; I will water it every
moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
23-30:25 And
there shall be upon every high mountain, and
upon every high hill, rivers and streams of
waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
23-30:32 And
in every place where the grounded staff shall
pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps:
and in battles of shaking will he fight with it.
23-31:7 For
in that day every man shall cast away his idols of
silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a
sin.
23-33:2 O
LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of
trouble.
23-34:15 There
shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her
shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every
one with her mate.
23-36:16 Hearken
not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me
by a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every
one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree,
and drink ye every one the waters of his own
cistern;
23-40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the
crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
23-41:6 They
helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.
23-43:7 Even
every one that is called by my name: for I have
created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
23-44:23 Sing,
O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth:
break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every
tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in
Israel.
23-45:23 I
have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and
shall not return, That unto me every knee shall
bow, every tongue shall swear.
23-47:15 Thus
shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from
thy youth: they shall wander every one to his
quarter; none shall save thee.
23-51:13 And
forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid
the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if
he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
23-52:5 Now
therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for
nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name
continually every day is blasphemed.
23-53:6 All
we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every
one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
23-54:17 No
weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every
tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith
the LORD.
23-55:1 Ho,
every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,
and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
23-56:6 Also
the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and
to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every
one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
23-56:11 Yea,
they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that
cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every
one for his gain, from his quarter.
23-57:5 Enflaming
yourselves with idols under every green tree,
slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
23-58:6 Is
not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo
the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
24-1:15 For,
lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD;
and they shall come, and they shall set every
one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the
walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
24-2:20 For
of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I
will not transgress; when upon every high hill
and under every green tree thou wanderest,
playing the harlot.
24-3:6 The
LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that
which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every
green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
24-3:13 Only
acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy
God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
24-4:29 The
whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go
into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every
city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.
24-5:6 Wherefore
a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall
spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every
one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions
are many, and their backslidings are increased.
24-5:8 They
were as fed horses in the morning: every one
neighed after his neighbour’s wife.
24-6:3 The
shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents
against her round about; they shall feed every
one in his place.
24-6:13 For
from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every
one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-6:25 Go
not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and
fear is on every side.
24-8:6 I
hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his
wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one
turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.
24-8:10 Therefore
will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall
inherit them: for every one from the least even
unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the
priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-9:4 Take
ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye
not in any brother: for every brother will
utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk
with slanders.
24-9:5 And
they will deceive every one his neighbour, and
will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and
weary themselves to commit iniquity.
24-9:20 Yet
hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his
mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every
one her neighbour lamentation.
24-10:14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for
his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
24-11:8 Yet
they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every
one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them
all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them
not.
24-12:4 How
long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every
field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are
consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
24-12:15 And
it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and
have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every
man to his heritage, and every man to his land.
24-13:12 Therefore
thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall
say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every
bottle shall be filled with wine?
24-15:10 Woe
is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of
contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent
to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse
me.
24-16:12 And
ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart,
that they may not hearken unto me:
24-16:16 Behold,
I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and
after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every
hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
24-17:10 I
the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the
fruit of his doings.
24-18:11 Now
therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and
devise a device against you: return ye now every
one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
24-18:12 And
they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we
will every one do the imagination of his evil
heart.
24-18:16 To
make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every
one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.
24-19:8 And
I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every
one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the
plagues thereof.
24-19:9 And
I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their
daughters, and they shall eat every one the
flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and
they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.
24-20:7 O
LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and
hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every
one mocketh me.
24-20:10 For
I heard the defaming of many, fear on every
side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my
halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against
him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
24-22:7 And
I will prepare destroyers against thee, every
one with his weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them
into the fire.
24-22:8 And
many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD
done thus unto this great city?
24-23:17 They
say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace;
and they say unto every one that walketh after
the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
24-23:27 Which
think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have
forgotten my name for Baal.
24-23:30 Therefore,
behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
24-23:35 Thus
shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered?
and, What hath the LORD spoken?
24-23:36 And
the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every
man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living
God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
24-25:5 They
said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil
way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD hath
given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
24-26:3 If
so be they will hearken, and turn every man from
his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them
because of the evil of their doings.
24-29:26 The
LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should
be officers in the house of the LORD, for every
man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in
prison, and in the stocks.
24-30:6 Ask
ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in
travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
24-30:16 Therefore
all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they
that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a
prey.
24-31:25 For
I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every
sorrowful soul.
24-31:30 But
every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall
be set on edge.
24-31:34 And
they shall teach no more every man his
neighbour, and every man his brother, saying,
Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the
greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will
remember their sin no more.
24-32:19 Great
in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of
the sons of men: to give every one according to
his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
24-34:9 That
every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an
Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to wit, of a Jew
his brother.
24-34:10 Now
when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant,
heard that every one should let his manservant,
and every one his maidservant, go free, that
none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them
go.
24-34:14 At
the end of seven years let ye go every man his
brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee
six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not
unto me, neither inclined their ear.
24-34:15 And
ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a covenant
before me in the house which is called by my name:
24-34:16 But
ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every
man his servant, and every man his handmaid,
whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into
subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
24-34:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every
man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to
the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be
removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
24-35:15 I
have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and
sending them, saying, Return ye now every man
from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve
them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your
fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
24-36:3 It
may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do
unto them; that they may return every man from
his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
24-36:7 It
may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger
and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.
24-37:10 For
though ye had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you,
and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.
24-43:6 Even
men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard
had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the
prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
24-47:4 Because
of the day that cometh to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus
and Zidon every helper that remaineth: for the
LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.
24-48:8 And
the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no
city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be
destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.
24-48:37 For
every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be
cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
24-49:5 Behold,
I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that
be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every
man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth.
24-49:17 Also
Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth
by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
24-49:29 Their
tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves
their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry
unto them, Fear is on every side.
24-50:13 Because
of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly
desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall
be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
24-50:16 Cut
off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of
harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.
24-50:42 They
shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy:
their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle,
against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
24-51:6 Flee
out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every
man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the
LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.
24-51:9 We
would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment
reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
24-51:17 Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for
his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
24-51:29 And
the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every
purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of
Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
24-51:45 My
people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every
man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
24-51:56 Because
the spoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of
recompenses shall surely requite.
24-52:34 And
for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all
the days of his life.
25-2:19 Arise,
cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like
water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of
thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.
25-3:23 They
are new every morning: great is thy
faithfulness.
25-4:1 How
is the gold become dim! how is the most fine gold changed! the stones of the
sanctuary are poured out in the top of every
street.
26-1:6 And
every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
26-1:9 Their
wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
26-1:11 Thus
were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered
their bodies.
26-1:12 And
they went every one straight forward: whither
the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
26-1:23 And
under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their
bodies.
26-6:13 Then
shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their
idols round about their altars, upon every high
hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every
green tree, and under every thick oak, the place
where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
26-7:16 But
they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves
of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one
for his iniquity.
26-8:10 So
I went in and saw; and behold every form of
creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of
Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
26-8:11 And
there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and
in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of
incense went up.
26-8:12 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of
Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers
of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the
earth.
26-9:1 He
cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge
over the city to draw near, even every man with
his destroying weapon in his hand.
26-9:2 And,
behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the
north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his
hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by
his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
26-10:14 And
every one had four faces: the first face was the
face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the
face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
26-10:19 And
the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight:
when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the
LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
26-10:21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of
a man was under their wings.
26-10:22 And
the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of
Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every
one straight forward.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the
LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come
into your mind, every one of them.
26-12:14 And
I will scatter toward every wind all that are
about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after
them.
26-12:22 Son
of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The
days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and
they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days
are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
26-13:18 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all
armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every
stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save
the souls alive that come unto you?
26-14:4 Therefore
speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his
idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his
face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh
according to the multitude of his idols;
26-14:7 For
every one of the house of Israel, or of the
stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and
setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity
before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the
LORD will answer him by myself:
26-16:15 But
thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy
renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every
one that passed by; his it was.
26-16:24 That
thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high
place in every street.
26-16:25 Thou
hast built thy high place at every head of the
way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy
whoredoms.
26-16:31 In
that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every
way, and makest thine high place in every
street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
26-16:33 They
give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and
hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every
side for thy whoredom.
26-16:44 Behold,
every one that useth proverbs shall use this
proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
26-17:23 In
the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth
boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all
fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the
branches thereof shall they dwell.
26-18:30 Therefore
I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one
according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all
your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
26-19:8 Then
the nations set against him on every side from
the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.
26-20:7 Then
said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the
abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I
am the LORD your God.
26-20:8 But
they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes,
neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my
fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of
Egypt.
26-20:28 For
when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to
give it to them, then they saw every high hill,
and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there
they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their
sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will
not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and
with your idols.
26-20:47 And
say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every
dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south
to the north shall be burned therein.
26-21:7 And
it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt
answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every
heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every
spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh,
and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:10 It
is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter:
should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.
26-22:6 Behold,
the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to
their power to shed blood.
26-23:22 Therefore,
O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against
thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;
26-24:4 Gather
the pieces thereof into it, even every good
piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
26-26:16 Then
all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away
their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves
with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.
26-28:13 Thou
hast been in Eden the garden of God; every
precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the
beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle,
and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee
in the day that thou wast created.
26-28:23 For
I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded
shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-29:18 Son
of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service
against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor
his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
26-32:10 Yea,
I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly
afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall
tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
26-33:20 Yet
ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge
you every one after his ways.
26-33:26 Ye
stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour’s wife: and shall ye possess
the land?
26-33:30 Also,
thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by
the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you,
and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.
26-34:6 My
sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every
high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none
did search or seek after them.
26-34:8 As
I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock
became meat to every beast of the field, because
there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the
shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-36:3 Therefore
prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate,
and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might
be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the
lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
26-37:21 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of
Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
26-38:20 So
that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the
field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that
are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains
shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
26-38:21 And
I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord
GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his
brother.
26-39:4 Thou
shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the
people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be
devoured.
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every
feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field,
Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every
side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon
the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-40:7 And
every little chamber was one reed long, and one
reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold
of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.
26-41:5 After
he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house
on every side.
26-41:10 And
between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on
every side.
26-41:18 And
it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a
cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two
faces;
26-43:25 Seven
days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a
sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the
flock, without blemish.
26-44:5 And
the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear
with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the
house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of
the house, with every going forth of the
sanctuary.
26-44:29 They
shall eat the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering:
and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be
theirs.
26-44:30 And
the first of all the firstfruits of all things, and every
oblation of all, of every sort of your oblations,
shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your
dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.
26-45:20 And
so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every
one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.
26-46:13 Thou
shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of a lamb of the first year
without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every
morning.
26-46:14 And
thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every
morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to
temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual
ordinance unto the LORD.
26-46:15 Thus
shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering.
26-46:18 Moreover
the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance by oppression, to thrust
them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his
own possession: that my people be not scattered every
man from his possession.
26-46:21 Then
he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the four
corners of the court; and, behold, in every
corner of the court there was a court.
26-47:9 And
it shall come to pass, that every thing that
liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and
there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come
thither: for they shall be healed; and every
thing shall live whither the river cometh.
27-3:10 Thou,
O king, hast made a decree, that every man that
shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and
dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden
image:
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and
language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill:
because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
27-6:12 Then
they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast
thou not signed a decree, that every man that
shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O
king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The
thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth
not.
27-6:26 I
make a decree, That in every dominion of my
kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living
God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed,
and his dominion shall be even unto the end.
27-11:36 And
the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and
magnify himself above every god, and shall speak
marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the
indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
27-12:1 And
at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a
time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that
same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
28-4:3 Therefore
shall the land mourn, and every one that
dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the
fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
28-9:1 Rejoice
not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy
God, thou hast loved a reward upon every
cornfloor.
29-2:7 They
shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they
shall march every one on his ways, and they
shall not break their ranks:
29-2:8 Neither
shall one thrust another; they shall walk every
one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
30-2:8 And
they lay themselves down upon clothes
laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink
the wine of the condemned in the
house of their god.
30-4:3 And
ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye
shall cast them into the palace,
saith the LORD.
30-4:4 Come
to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your
sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
30-8:3 And
the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
30-8:8 Shall
not the land tremble for this, and every one
mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it
shall be cast out and drowned, as by the
flood of Egypt.
30-8:10 And
I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and
I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an
only son, and the end thereof as a
bitter day.
31-1:9 And
thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be
dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount
of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.
32-1:5 Then the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the
wares that were in the ship into the
sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah
was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.
32-1:7 And
they said every one to his fellow, Come, and let
us cast lots, that we may know for whose cause this evil is upon us. So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Jonah.
32-3:8 But
let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea,
let them turn every one from his evil way, and
from the violence that is in their
hands.
33-4:4 But
they shall sit every man under his vine and
under his fig tree; and none shall make them
afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.
33-4:5 For
all people will walk every one in the name of
his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
33-7:2 The good man
is perished out of the earth: and there
is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt
every man his brother with a net.
35-1:10 And
they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they
shall deride every strong hold; for they shall
heap dust, and take it.
36-2:11 The
LORD will be terrible unto them: for
he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one
from his place, even all the isles of
the heathen.
36-2:15 This
is the rejoicing city that dwelt
carelessly, that said in her heart, I am,
and there is none beside me: how
is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
36-3:5 The
just LORD is in the midst thereof; he
will not do iniquity: every morning doth he
bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
36-3:19 Behold,
at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that
halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and
fame in every land where they have been put to
shame.
37-1:9 Ye
looked for much, and, lo, it came to
little; and when ye brought it home,
I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.
37-2:14 Then
answered Haggai, and said, So is this
people, and so is this nation before
me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer
there is unclean.
37-2:22 And
I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the
kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride
in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
38-3:10 In
that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every
man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
38-5:3 Then
said he unto me, This is the curse
that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every
one that stealeth shall be cut off as on
this side according to it; and every one that
sweareth shall be cut off as on that
side according to it.
38-7:9 Thus
speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions
every man to his brother:
38-8:4 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the
streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his
staff in his hand for very age.
38-8:10 For
before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out
or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.
38-8:16 These
are the things that ye shall do;
Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour;
execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
38-10:1 Ask
ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of
rain, to every one grass in the field.
38-10:4 Out
of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow,
out of him every oppressor together.
38-11:6 For
I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I
will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s
hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of
their hand I will not deliver them.
38-11:9 Then
said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to
be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every
one the flesh of another.
38-12:4 In
that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every
horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes
upon the house of Judah, and will smite every
horse of the people with blindness.
38-12:12 And
the land shall mourn, every family apart; the
family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the
house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
38-12:14 All
the families that remain, every family apart, and
their wives apart.
38-13:4 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
prophets shall be ashamed every one of his
vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to
deceive:
38-14:13 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that a
great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand
shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
38-14:16 And
it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came
against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the
LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
38-14:21 Yea,
every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be
holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and
take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
39-1:11 For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and
in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith
the LORD of hosts.
39-2:10 Have
we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal
treacherously every man against his brother, by
profaning the covenant of our fathers?
39-2:17 Ye
have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or,
Where is the God of judgment?
40-3:10 And now
also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn
down, and cast into the fire.
40-4:4 But
he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
40-7:8 For
every one that asketh receiveth; and he that
seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
40-7:17 Even
so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit;
but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
40-7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn
down, and cast into the fire.
40-7:21 Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which
is in heaven.
40-7:26 And
every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house
upon the sand:
40-8:33 And
they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of
the devils.
40-9:35 And
Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and
preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every
sickness and every disease among the people.
40-12:25 And
Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not
stand:
40-12:36 But
I say unto you, That every idle word that men
shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
40-13:47 Again,
the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and
gathered of every kind:
40-13:52 Then
said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of
heaven is like unto a man that is an
householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
40-15:13 But
he answered and said, Every plant, which my
heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
40-16:27 For
the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then
he shall reward every man according to his
works.
40-18:16 But
if he will not hear thee, then take
with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
40-18:35 So
likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts
forgive not every one his brother their
trespasses.
40-19:3 The
Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful
for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
40-19:29 And
every one that hath forsaken houses, or
brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for
my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting
life.
40-20:9 And
when they came that were hired about
the eleventh hour, they received every man a
penny.
40-20:10 But
when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and
they likewise received every man a penny.
40-25:15 And
unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and
straightway took his journey.
40-25:29 For
unto every one that hath shall be given, and he
shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that
which he hath.
40-26:22 And
they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every
one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?
41-1:45 But he went
out, and began to publish it much,
and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter
into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
41-7:14 And
when he had called all the people unto
him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every
one of you, and understand:
41-8:25 After
that he put his hands again upon his
eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
41-9:49 For
every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
41-13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a
far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
41-15:24 And
when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them,
what every man should take.
41-16:15 And
he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
41-16:20 And
they went forth, and preached every where, the
Lord working with them, and
confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
42-2:3 And all
went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
42-2:23 (As
it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male
that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
42-2:41 Now
his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the
feast of the passover.
42-3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the
crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
42-3:9 And
now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: every
tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into
the fire.
42-4:4 And
Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word of God.
42-4:37 And
the fame of him went out into every place of the
country round about.
42-4:40 Now
when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases
brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every
one of them, and healed them.
42-5:17 And
it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees
and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and
the power of the Lord was present to
heal them.
42-6:30 Give
to every man that asketh of thee; and of him
that taketh away thy goods ask them not
again.
42-6:40 The
disciple is not above his master: but every one
that is perfect shall be as his master.
42-6:44 For
every tree is known by his own fruit. For of
thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
42-8:1 And
it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every
city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God:
and the twelve were with him,
42-8:4 And
when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
42-9:6 And
they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.
42-9:43 And
they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto
his disciples,
42-10:1 After
these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two
before his face into every city and place,
whither he himself would come.
42-11:4 And
forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every
one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us
from evil.
42-11:10 For
every one that asketh receiveth; and he that
seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
42-11:17 But
he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
42-16:5 So
he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How
much owest thou unto my lord?
42-16:16 The
law and the prophets were until John:
since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every
man presseth into it.
42-16:19 There
was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared
sumptuously every day:
42-18:14 I
tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one
that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be
exalted.
42-19:15 And
it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then
he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the
money, that he might know how much every man had
gained by trading.
42-19:26 For
I say unto you, That unto every one which hath
shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken
away from him.
42-19:43 For
the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about
thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every
side,
43-1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
43-2:10 And
saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth
set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until
now.
43-3:8 The
wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst
not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every
one that is born of the Spirit.
43-3:20 For
every one that doeth evil hateth the light,
neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
43-6:7 Philip
answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
43-6:40 And
this is the will of him that sent me, that every
one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I
will raise him up at the last day.
43-6:45 It
is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned
of the Father, cometh unto me.
43-7:23 If
a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not
be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
43-7:53 And
every man went unto his own house.
43-13:10 Jesus
saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit:
and ye are clean, but not all.
43-15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh
away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth
more fruit.
43-16:32 Behold,
the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and
yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
43-18:37 Pilate
therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that
I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world,
that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every
one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
43-19:23 Then
the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four
parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam,
woven from the top throughout.
43-21:25 And
there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be
written every one, I suppose that even the world
itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
44-2:5 And
there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
44-2:6 Now
when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded,
because that every man heard them speak in his
own language.
44-2:8 And
how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein
we were born?
44-2:38 Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
44-2:43 And
fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and
signs were done by the apostles.
44-2:45 And
sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
44-3:23 And
it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be
destroyed from among the people.
44-3:26 Unto
you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in
turning away every one of you from his
iniquities.
44-4:35 And
laid them down at the apostles’ feet:
and distribution was made unto every man
according as he had need.
44-5:16 There
came also a multitude out of the
cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were
vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every
one.
44-5:42 And
daily in the temple, and in every house, they
ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
44-8:3 As
for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every
house, and haling men and women committed them
to prison.
44-8:4 Therefore
they that were scattered abroad went every where
preaching the word.
44-10:35 But
in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh
righteousness, is accepted with him.
44-11:29 Then
the disciples, every man according to his
ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
44-13:27 For
they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor
yet the voices of the prophets which are read every
sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in
condemning him.
44-14:23 And
when they had ordained them elders in every
church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom
they believed.
44-15:21 For
Moses of old time hath in every city them that
preach him, being read in the synagogues every
sabbath day.
44-15:36 And
some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren
in every city where we have preached the word of
the Lord, and see how they do.
44-16:26 And
suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were
shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every
one’s bands were loosed.
44-17:27 That
they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him,
though he be not far from every one of us:
44-17:30 And
the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
44-18:4 And
he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and
persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
44-20:23 Save
that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city,
saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
44-20:31 Therefore
watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
44-21:26 Then
Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into
the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until
that an offering should be offered for every one
of them.
44-21:28 Crying
out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every
where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought
Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
44-22:19 And
I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every
synagogue them that believed on thee:
44-26:11 And
I punished them oft in every synagogue, and
compelled them to blaspheme; and
being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
44-28:2 And
the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and
received us every one, because of the present
rain, and because of the cold.
44-28:22 But
we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we
know that every where it is spoken against.
45-1:16 For I am
not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation
to every one that believeth; to the Jew first,
and also to the Greek.
45-2:6 Who will
render to every man according to his deeds:
45-2:9 Tribulation
and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth
evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
45-2:10 But
glory, honour, and peace, to every man that
worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
45-3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were
committed the oracles of God.
45-3:4 God
forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a
liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and
mightest overcome when thou art judged.
45-3:19 Now we
know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the
law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all
the world may become guilty before God.
45-10:4 For
Christ is the end of the law for
righteousness to every one that believeth.
45-12:3 For I
say, through the grace given unto me, to every
man that is among you, not to think of
himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according
as God hath dealt to every man the measure of
faith.
45-12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
45-13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For
there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
45-14:5 One man
esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every
day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
45-14:11 For it is
written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
45-14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
45-15:2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good
to edification.
46-1:2 Unto
the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ
Jesus, called to be saints, with all
that in every place call upon the name of Jesus
Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
46-1:5 That
in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all
utterance, and in all knowledge;
46-1:12 Now
this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of
Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
46-3:5 Who
then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but
ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
46-3:8 Now
he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every
man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
46-3:10 According
to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have
laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
46-3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day
shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
46-4:5 Therefore
judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to
light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the
hearts: and then shall every man have praise of
God.
46-4:17 For
this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful
in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in
Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
46-6:18 Flee
fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is
without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own
body.
46-7:2 Nevertheless,
to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
46-7:7 For
I would that all men were even as I myself. But every
man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
46-7:17 But
as God hath distributed to every man, as the
Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And
so ordain I in all churches.
46-7:20 Let
every man abide in the same calling wherein he
was called.
46-7:24 Brethren,
let every man, wherein he is called, therein
abide with God.
46-8:7 Howbeit
there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of
the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing
offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
46-9:25 And
every man that striveth for the mastery is
temperate in all things. Now they do it to
obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
46-10:24 Let
no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.
46-11:3 But
I would have you know, that the head of every
man is Christ; and the head of the woman is
the man; and the head of Christ is God.
46-11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
46-11:5 But
every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her
head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
46-11:21 For
in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry,
and another is drunken.
46-12:7 But
the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every
man to profit withal.
46-12:11 But
all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
46-12:18 But
now hath God set the members every one of them
in the body, as it hath pleased him.
46-14:26 How
is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every
one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation,
hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
46-15:23 But
every man in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
46-15:30 And
why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
46-15:38 But
God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every
seed his own body.
46-16:2 Upon
the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no
gatherings when I come.
46-16:16 That
ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one
that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
47-2:14 Now
thanks be unto God, which always causeth
us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us
in every place.
47-4:2 But
have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor
handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth
commending ourselves to every man’s conscience
in the sight of God.
47-4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
47-5:10 For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it
be good or bad.
47-7:5 For,
when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled
on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.
47-8:7 Therefore,
as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
47-9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of
necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
47-9:8 And
God is able to make all grace abound
toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good
work:
47-9:11 Being
enriched in every thing to all bountifulness,
which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
47-10:5 Casting
down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
47-13:1 This
is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses
shall every word be established.
48-3:10 For as
many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written,
Cursed is every
one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law
to do them.
48-3:13 Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it
is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
48-5:3 For
I testify again to every man that is
circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
48-6:4 But
let every man prove his own work, and then shall
he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
48-6:5 For
every man shall bear his own burden.
49-1:21 Far above
all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but
also in that which is to come:
49-4:7 But
unto every one of us is given grace according to
the measure of the gift of Christ.
49-4:14 That
we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every
wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and
cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
49-4:16 From
whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual
working in the measure of every part, maketh
increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
49-4:25 Wherefore
putting away lying, speak every man truth with
his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
49-5:24 Therefore
as the church is subject unto Christ, so let
the wives be to their own
husbands in every thing.
49-5:33 Nevertheless
let every one of you in particular so love his
wife even as himself; and the wife see that
she reverence her husband.
50-1:3 I thank
my God upon every remembrance of you,
50-1:4 Always
in every prayer of mine for you all making
request with joy,
50-1:18 What
then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in
pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and
will rejoice.
50-2:4 Look
not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
50-2:9 Wherefore
God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
50-2:10 That
at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
50-2:11 And
that every
tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
50-4:6 Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God.
50-4:12 I
know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every
where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both
to abound and to suffer need.
50-4:21 Salute
every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which
are with me greet you.
51-1:10 That ye
might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of
God;
51-1:15 Who
is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every
creature:
51-1:23 If
ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard,
and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul
am made a minister;
51-1:28 Whom
we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
51-4:6 Let
your speech be alway with grace,
seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
52-1:8 For
from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but
also in every place your faith to God-ward is
spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.
52-2:11 As
ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every
one of you, as a father doth his
children,
52-4:4 That
every one of you should know how to possess his
vessel in sanctification and honour;
52-5:18 In
every thing give thanks: for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
53-1:3 We
are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that
your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every
one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
53-2:17 Comfort
your hearts, and stablish you in every good word
and work.
53-3:6 Now
we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye
withdraw yourselves from every brother that
walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
53-3:17 The
salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.
54-2:8 I will
therefore that men pray every where, lifting up
holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
54-4:4 For
every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with
thanksgiving:
54-5:10 Well
reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged
strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the
afflicted, if she have diligently followed every
good work.
55-2:19 Nevertheless
the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them
that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the
name of Christ depart from iniquity.
55-2:21 If
a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and
prepared unto every good work.
55-4:18 And
the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work,
and will preserve me unto his
heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory
for ever and ever. Amen.
56-1:5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou
shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in
every city, as I had appointed thee:
56-1:16 They
profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
56-3:1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities
and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every
good work,
57-1:6 That the
communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
58-2:2 For if
the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every
transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
58-2:9 But
we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of
death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste
death for every man.
58-3:4 For
every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
58-5:1 For
every high priest taken from among men is
ordained for men in things pertaining to
God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
58-5:13 For
every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
58-6:11 And
we desire that every one of you do shew the same
diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
58-8:3 For
every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and
sacrifices: wherefore it is of
necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
58-8:11 And
they shall not teach every man his neighbour,
and every man his brother, saying, Know the
Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
58-9:7 But
into the second went the high priest
alone once every year, not without blood, which
he offered for himself, and for the
errors of the people:
58-9:19 For
when Moses had spoken every precept to all the
people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with
water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the
people,
58-9:25 Nor
yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the
holy place every year with blood of others;
58-10:3 But
in those sacrifices there is a
remembrance again made of sins every year.
58-10:11 And
every priest standeth daily ministering and
offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
58-12:1 Wherefore
seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us
lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth
so easily beset us, and let us run
with patience the race that is set before us,
58-12:6 For
whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every
son whom he receiveth.
58-13:21 Make
you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ;
to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen.
59-1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own
lust, and enticed.
59-1:17 Every good gift and every
perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom
is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
59-1:19 Wherefore,
my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to
hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
59-3:7 For
every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of
serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
59-3:16 For
where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
60-1:17 And if ye
call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
60-2:13 Submit
yourselves to every ordinance of man for the
Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
60-3:15 But
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be
ready always to give an answer to
every man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you with meekness and fear:
60-4:10 As
every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to
another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
62-2:29 If ye
know that he is righteous, ye know that every
one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
62-3:3 And
every man that hath this hope in him purifieth
himself, even as he is pure.
62-4:1 Beloved,
believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the
world.
62-4:2 Hereby
know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that
confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
62-4:3 And
every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have
heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
62-4:7 Beloved,
let us love one another: for love is of God; and every
one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
62-5:1 Whosoever
believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every
one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
66-1:7 Behold,
he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see
him, and they also which pierced him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
66-2:23 And
I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am
he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
66-5:8 And
when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of
odours, which are the prayers of saints.
66-5:9 And
they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the
seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
out of every kindred, and tongue, and people,
and nation;
66-5:13 And
every creature which is in heaven, and on the
earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in
them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
66-6:11 And
white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until
their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
66-6:14 And
the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their
places.
66-6:15 And
the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief
captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman,
and every free man, hid themselves in the dens
and in the rocks of the mountains;
66-14:6 And
I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel
to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every
nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
66-16:3 And
the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood
of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.
66-16:20 And
every island fled away, and the mountains were
not found.
66-16:21 And
there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a
talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the
plague thereof was exceeding great.
66-18:2 And
he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is
fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
66-18:17 For
in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every
shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by
sea, stood afar off,
66-20:13 And
the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the
dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.
66-21:21 And
the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of
the city was pure gold, as it were
transparent glass.
66-22:2 In
the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare
twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
66-22:12 And,
behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with
me, to give every man according as his work
shall be.
66-22:18 For
I testify unto every man that heareth the words
of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall
add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
