02-EXODUS
02-21:24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth,
hand for hand, foot for foot,
02-21:26 And
if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go
free for his eye’s sake.
03-LEVITICUS
03-21:20 Or
crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye,
or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
03-24:20 Breach
for breach, eye for eye,
tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to
him again.
05-7:16 And
thou shalt consume all the people which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee;
thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither
shalt thou serve their gods; for that will
be a snare unto thee.
05-13:8 Thou
shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt
thou conceal him:
05-15:9 Beware
that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the
year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be
evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the
LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
05-19:13 Thine
eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from
05-19:21 And
thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for
life, eye for eye,
tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
05-25:12 Then
thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not
pity her.
05-28:54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the
wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
05-28:56 The
tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole
of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and
toward her son, and toward her daughter,
05-32:10 He
found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him
about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
05-34:7 And
Moses was an hundred and twenty years
old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his
natural force abated.
09-24:10 Behold,
this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine
hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I
will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’S anointed.
10-22:25 Therefore
the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my
cleanness in his eye sight.
15-5:5 But
the eye of their God was upon the elders of the
Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius:
and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.
18-7:7 O
remember that my life is wind: mine eye shall no more see good.
18-7:8 The
eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
18-10:18 Wherefore
then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the
ghost, and no eye had seen me!
18-13:1 Lo,
mine eye hath seen all this, mine ear hath heard and understood it.
18-16:20 My
friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears
unto God.
18-17:2 Are there not mockers with me? and doth
not mine eye continue in their provocation?
18-17:7 Mine
eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my
members are as a shadow.
18-20:9 The
eye also which
saw him shall see him no more;
neither shall his place any more behold him.
18-24:15 The
eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the
twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and
disguiseth his face.
18-28:7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth,
and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
18-28:10 He
cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye
seeth every precious thing.
18-29:11 When
the ear heard me, then it blessed me;
and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:
18-42:5 I
have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
19-6:7 Mine
eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old
because of all mine enemies.
19-17:8 Keep
me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the
shadow of thy wings,
19-31:9 Have
mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye
is consumed with grief, yea, my soul
and my belly.
19-32:8 I
will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide
thee with mine eye.
19-33:18 Behold,
the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19-35:19 Let
not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye
that hate me without a cause.
19-35:21 Yea,
they opened their mouth wide against me, and
said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
19-54:7 For
he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye
hath seen his desire upon mine
enemies.
19-88:9 Mine
eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I
have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
19-92:11 Mine
eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and
mine ears shall hear my desire of
the wicked that rise up against me.
19-94:9 He
that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
20-7:2 Keep
my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
20-10:10 He
that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a
prating fool shall fall.
20-20:12 The
hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath
made even both of them.
20-22:9 He
that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for
he giveth of his bread to the poor.
20-23:6 Eat
thou not the bread of him that hath an
evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
20-28:22 He
that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon
him.
20-30:17 The
eye that mocketh
at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley
shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
21-1:8 All
things are full of labour; man cannot
utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
21-4:8 There
is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath
neither child nor brother: yet is there no
end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied
with riches; neither saith he, For
whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a
sore travail.
23-13:18 Their bows also shall dash the young men
to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
23-52:8 Thy
watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for
they shall see eye to eye,
when the LORD shall bring again
23-64:4 For
since the beginning of the world men have
not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye
seen, O God, beside thee, what he
hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
24-13:17 But
if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because
the Lord’s flock is carried away captive.
25-1:16 For
these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth
down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from
me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.
25-2:4 He
hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary,
and slew all that were pleasant to
the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of
25-2:18 Their
heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of
25-3:48 Mine
eye runneth down with rivers of water for the
destruction of the daughter of my people.
25-3:49 Mine
eye trickleth down, and ceaseth not, without any
intermission,
25-3:51 Mine
eye affecteth mine heart because of all the
daughters of my city.
26-5:11 Wherefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD;
Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things,
and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
26-7:4 And
mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I
have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations
shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:9 And
mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have
pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye
shall know that I am the LORD that
smiteth.
26-8:18 Therefore
will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare,
neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
26-9:5 And
to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and
smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye
pity:
26-9:10 And
as for me also, mine eye shall not spare,
neither will I have pity, but I will
recompense their way upon their head.
26-16:5 None
eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee,
to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the
loathing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
26-20:17 Nevertheless
mine eye spared them from destroying them,
neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness.
33-4:11 Now
also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and
let our eye look upon
38-2:8 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations
which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
38-11:17 Woe
to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye:
his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye
shall be utterly darkened.
40-5:29 And
if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and
cast it from thee: for it is
profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell.
40-5:38 Ye
have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an
eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
40-6:22 The
light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine
eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of
light.
40-6:23 But
if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be
full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great
is that darkness!
40-7:3 And
why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye,
but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
40-7:4 Or
how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
40-7:5 Thou
hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye;
and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
40-18:9 And
if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast
it from thee: it is better for thee
to enter into life with one eye, rather than
having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
40-19:24 And
again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the
40-20:15 Is
it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
41-7:22 Thefts,
covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
41-9:47 And
if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is
better for thee to enter into the
41-10:25 It
is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a
needle, than for a rich man to enter into the
42-6:41 And
why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye,
but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
42-6:42 Either
how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in
thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the
beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite,
cast out first the beam out of thine own eye,
and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.
42-11:34 The
light of the body is the eye: therefore when
thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full
of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
42-18:25 For
it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye,
than for a rich man to enter into the
46-2:9 But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear
heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him.
46-12:16 And
if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I
am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
46-12:17 If
the whole body were an eye, where were the
hearing? If the whole were hearing,
where were the smelling?
46-12:21 And
the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need
of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
46-15:52 In
a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
66-1:7 Behold,
he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see
him, and they also which pierced him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
