01-GENESIS
01-2:21 And
the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took
one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead
thereof;
01-2:23 And
Adam said, This is now bone of my
bones, and flesh of my flesh:
she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of
01-2:24 Therefore
shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife:
and they shall be one flesh.
01-6:3 And
the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh:
yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
01-6:12 And
God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
01-6:13 And
God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come
before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I
will destroy them with the earth.
01-6:17 And,
behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is
the breath of life, from under heaven; and
every thing that is in the earth
shall die.
01-6:19 And
of every living thing of all flesh, two of every
sort shalt thou bring into the ark,
to keep them alive with thee; they
shall be male and female.
01-7:15 And
they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the
breath of life.
01-7:16 And
they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh,
as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
01-7:21 And
all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both
of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth
upon the earth, and every man:
01-8:17 Bring
forth with thee every living thing that is
with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed
abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
01-9:4 But
flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not
eat.
01-9:11 And
I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood;
neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
01-9:15 And
I will remember my covenant, which is between
me and you and every living creature of all flesh;
and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
01-9:16 And
the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the
everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon
the earth.
01-9:17 And
God said unto Noah, This is the token
of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon
the earth.
01-17:11 And
ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin;
and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
01-17:13 He
that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be
circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh
for an everlasting covenant.
01-17:14 And
the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his
foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he
hath broken my covenant.
01-17:23 And
Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that
were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and
circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the
selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
01-17:24 And
Abraham was ninety years old and
nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his
foreskin.
01-17:25 And
Ishmael his son was thirteen years
old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his
foreskin.
01-29:14 And
Laban said to him, Surely thou art my
bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the
space of a month.
01-37:27 Come,
and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for
he is our brother and our flesh.
And his brethren were content.
01-40:19 Yet
within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang
thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh
from off thee.
02-4:7 And
he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his
bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again
as his other flesh.
02-12:8 And
they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast
with fire, and unleavened bread; and with
bitter herbs they shall eat it.
02-12:46 In
one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break
a bone thereof.
02-16:3 And
the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of
the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh
pots, and when we did eat bread to
the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole
assembly with hunger.
02-16:8 And
Moses said, This shall be, when the
LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat,
and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings
which ye murmur against him: and what are
we? your murmurings are not
against us, but against the LORD.
02-16:12 I
have heard the murmurings of the children of
02-21:28 If
an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned,
and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner
of the ox shall be quit.
02-22:31 And
ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
02-29:14 But
the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his
dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.
02-29:31 And
thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.
02-29:32 And
Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the
ram, and the bread that is in the
basket, by the door of the tabernacle
of the congregation.
02-29:34 And
if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or
of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with
fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is
holy.
02-30:32 Upon
man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither
shall ye make any other like it,
after the composition of it: it is holy,
and it shall be holy unto you.
03-4:11 And
the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with
his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,
03-6:10 And
the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put
upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the
fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them
beside the altar.
03-6:27 Whatsoever
shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and
when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash
that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.
03-7:15 And
the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace
offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he
shall not leave any of it until the morning.
03-7:17 But
the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on
the third day shall be burnt with fire.
03-7:18 And
if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on
the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him
that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it
shall bear his iniquity.
03-7:19 And
the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be
burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that
be clean shall eat thereof.
03-7:20 But
the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his
uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing,
as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean
beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and
eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace
offerings, which pertain unto the
LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-8:17 But
the bullock, and his hide, his flesh, and his
dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses.
03-8:31 And
Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh
at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation: and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of consecrations, as I commanded, saying, Aaron
and his sons shall eat it.
03-8:32 And
that which remaineth of the flesh and of the
bread shall ye burn with fire.
03-9:11 And
the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire
without the camp.
03-11:8 Of
their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase
shall ye not touch; they are unclean
to you.
03-11:11 They
shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in
abomination.
03-12:3 And
in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin
shall be circumcised.
03-13:2 When
a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a
rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the
plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one
of his sons the priests:
03-13:3 And
the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh:
and when the hair in the plague is turned
white, and the plague in sight be deeper
than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest
shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
03-13:4 If
the bright spot be white in the skin
of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned
white; then the priest shall shut up him
that hath the plague seven days:
03-13:10 And
the priest shall see him: and,
behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned
the hair white, and there be quick
raw flesh in the rising;
03-13:11 It
is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and
shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
03-13:13 Then
the priest shall consider: and, behold, if
the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he
shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned
white: he is clean.
03-13:14 But
when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be
unclean.
03-13:15 And
the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce
him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean:
it is a leprosy.
03-13:16 Or
if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto
white, he shall come unto the priest;
03-13:18 The
flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
03-13:24 Or
if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white
bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;
03-13:38 If
a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh
bright spots, even white bright
spots;
03-13:39 Then
the priest shall look: and, behold, if the
bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is
clean.
03-13:43 Then
the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if
the rising of the sore be white
reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in
the skin of the flesh;
03-14:9 But
it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head
and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he
shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh
in water, and he shall be clean.
03-15:2 Speak
unto the children of
03-15:3 And
this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh
be stopped from his issue, it is his
uncleanness.
03-15:7 And
he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the
issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself
in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:13 And
when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself
seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
03-15:16 And
if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
03-15:19 And
if a woman have an issue, and her
issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put
apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
03-16:4 He
shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his
flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle,
and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
03-16:24 And
he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy
place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering,
and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and
for the people.
03-16:26 And
he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his
flesh in water, and afterward come into the
camp.
03-16:27 And
the bullock for the sin offering, and
the goat for the sin offering, whose
blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry
forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
03-16:28 And
he that burneth them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the
camp.
03-17:11 For
the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make
an atonement for your souls: for it is the
blood that maketh an atonement for
the soul.
03-17:14 For
it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of
03-17:16 But
if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
03-19:28 Ye
shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for
the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am
the LORD.
03-21:5 They
shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the
corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
03-22:6 The
soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat
of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh
with water.
03-26:29 And
ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
04-8:7 And
thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon
them, and let them shave all their flesh, and
let them wash their clothes, and so make
themselves clean.
04-11:4 And
the mixt multitude that was among them
fell a lusting: and the children of
04-11:13 Whence
should I have flesh to give unto all this
people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh,
that we may eat.
04-11:18 And
say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall
eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the
LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
for it was well with us in
04-11:21 And
Moses said, The people, among whom I am,
are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
04-11:33 And
while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the
LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very
great plague.
04-12:12 Let
her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is
half consumed when he cometh out of his mother’s womb.
04-16:22 And
they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with
all the congregation?
04-18:15 Every
thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh,
which they bring unto the LORD, whether
it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man
shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou
redeem.
04-18:18 And
the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave
breast and as the right shoulder are thine.
04-19:5 And
one shall burn the heifer in his
sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood,
with her dung, shall he burn:
04-19:7 Then
the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp,
and the priest shall be unclean until the even.
04-19:8 And
he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.
04-27:16 Let
the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set
a man over the congregation,
05-5:26 For
who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God
speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
05-12:15 Notwithstanding
thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates,
whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy
God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of
the roebuck, and as of the hart.
05-12:20 When
the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou
shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul
longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
05-12:23 Only
be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.
05-12:27 And
thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh
and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy
sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou
shalt eat the flesh.
05-14:8 And
the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of
their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
05-16:4 And
there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days;
neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even,
remain all night until the morning.
05-28:53 And
thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh
of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in
the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:
05-28:55 So
that he will not give to any of them of the flesh
of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the
siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in
all thy gates.
05-32:42 I
will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with
the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon
the enemy.
07-6:19 And
Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of
flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put
the broth in a pot, and brought it out
unto him under the oak, and presented it.
07-6:20 And
the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh
and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon
this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.
07-6:21 Then
the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh
and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed
the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the
angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.
07-8:7 And
Gideon said, Therefore when the LORD hath delivered Zebah and Zalmunna into
mine hand, then I will tear your flesh with the
thorns of the wilderness and with briers.
07-9:2 Speak,
I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, either that all the sons of Jerubbaal, which are threescore and ten persons,
reign over you, or that one reign over you? remember also that I am your bone and your flesh.
09-2:13 And
the priests’ custom with the people was,
that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth
in his hand;
09-2:15 Also
before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that
sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest;
for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but
raw.
09-17:44 And
the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of
the field.
09-25:11 Shall
I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh
that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?
10-5:1 Then
came all the tribes of
10-6:19 And
he dealt among all the people, even among
the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake
of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
10-19:12 Ye
are my brethren, ye are my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the last to bring back
the king?
10-19:13 And
say ye to Amasa, Art thou not of my
bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more
also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of
Joab.
11-17:6 And
the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the
morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and
he drank of the brook.
11-19:21 And
he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled
their flesh with the instruments of the oxen,
and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after
Elijah, and ministered unto him.
11-21:27 And
it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put
sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in
sackcloth, and went softly.
12-4:34 And
he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his
eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon
the child; and the flesh of the child waxed
warm.
12-5:10 And
Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in
12-5:14 Then
went he down, and dipped himself seven times in
12-6:30 And
it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his
clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh.
12-9:36 Wherefore
they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the
Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:
13-11:1 Then
all
13-16:3 And
he dealt to every one of
14-32:8 With
him is an arm of flesh; but with us is
the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people
rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of
16-5:5 Yet
now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our
children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our
daughters to be servants, and some of
our daughters are brought unto bondage already:
neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our
lands and vineyards.
18-2:5 But
put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh,
and he will curse thee to thy face.
18-4:15 Then
a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh
stood up:
18-6:12 Is my strength the strength of stones?
or is my flesh
of brass?
18-7:5 My
flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my
skin is broken, and become loathsome.
18-10:4 Hast
thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
18-10:11 Thou
hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast
fenced me with bones and sinews.
18-13:14 Wherefore
do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life
in mine hand?
18-14:22 But
his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul
within him shall mourn.
18-19:20 My
bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I
am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
18-19:22 Why
do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
18-19:26 And
though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see
God:
18-21:6 Even
when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.
18-31:31 If
the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.
18-33:21 His
flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen;
and his bones that were not seen
stick out.
18-33:25 His
flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall
return to the days of his youth:
18-34:15 All
flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn
again unto dust.
18-41:23 The
flakes of his flesh are joined together: they
are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
19-16:9 Therefore
my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh
also shall rest in hope.
19-27:2 When
the wicked, even mine enemies and my
foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they
stumbled and fell.
19-38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of
my sin.
19-38:7 For
my loins are filled with a loathsome disease:
and there is no soundness in my flesh.
19-50:13 Will
I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of
goats?
19-56:4 In
God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
19-63:1 O
God, thou art my God; early will I
seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh
longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
19-65:2 O
thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh
come.
19-73:26 My
flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength
of my heart, and my portion for ever.
19-78:20 Behold,
he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can
he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his
people?
19-78:27 He
rained flesh also upon them as dust, and
feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:
19-78:39 For
he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
19-79:2 The
dead bodies of thy servants have they given to
be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh
of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
19-84:2 My
soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
19-109:24 My
knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh
faileth of fatness.
19-119:120 My
flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am
afraid of thy judgments.
19-136:25 Who
giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
19-145:21 My
mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh
bless his holy name for ever and ever.
20-4:22 For
they are life unto those that find
them, and health to all their flesh.
20-5:11 And
thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy
body are consumed,
20-11:17 The
merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
20-14:30 A
sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
20-23:20 Be
not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
21-4:5 The
fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.
21-5:6 Suffer
not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither
say thou before the angel, that it was an
error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of
thine hands?
21-11:10 Therefore
remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
21-12:12 And
further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
23-9:20 And
he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left
hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
23-17:4 And
in that day it shall come to pass, that the
glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.
23-22:13 And
behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to
morrow we shall die.
23-31:3 Now
the Egyptians are men, and not God;
and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the
LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that
is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
23-40:5 And
the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh
shall see it together: for the mouth
of the LORD hath spoken it.
23-40:6 The
voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh
is grass, and all the goodliness
thereof is as the flower of the
field:
23-44:16 He
burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he
warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am
warm, I have seen the fire:
23-44:19 And
none considereth in his heart, neither is
there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the
fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it:
and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to
the stock of a tree?
23-49:26 And
I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh;
and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
23-58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the
hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou
seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine
own flesh?
23-65:4 Which
remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
23-66:16 For
by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh:
and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
23-66:17 They
that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be
consumed together, saith the LORD.
23-66:23 And
it shall come to pass, that from one
new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
23-66:24 And
they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have
transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire
be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
24-7:21 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your
sacrifices, and eat flesh.
24-11:15 What
hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing
she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh
is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.
24-12:12 The
spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of
the LORD shall devour from the one end
of the land even to the other end of
the land: no flesh shall have peace.
24-17:5 Thus
saith the LORD; Cursed be the man
that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm,
and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
24-19:9 And
I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons
and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall
eat every one the flesh of his friend in the
siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives,
shall straiten them.
24-25:31 A
noise shall come even to the ends of
the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with
all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the
LORD.
24-32:27 Behold,
I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
24-45:5 And
seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them
not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh,
saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places
whither thou goest.
24-51:35 The
violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of
Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.
25-3:4 My
flesh and my skin hath he made old: he hath broken
my bones.
26-4:14 Then
said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth
up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in
pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into
my mouth.
26-11:3 Which
say, It is not near; let us build
houses: this city is the caldron, and
we be the flesh.
26-11:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh,
and this city is the caldron: but I will
bring you forth out of the midst of it.
26-11:11 This
city shall not be your caldron,
neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst
thereof; but I will judge you in the
border of Israel:
26-11:19 And
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will
take the stony heart out of their flesh, and
will give them an heart of flesh:
26-16:26 Thou
hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me
to anger.
26-20:48 And
all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled
it: it shall not be quenched.
26-21:4 Seeing
then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore
shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh
from the south to the north:
26-21:5 That
all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn
forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.
26-23:20 For
she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh
of asses, and whose issue is like the
issue of horses.
26-24:10 Heap
on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and
spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
26-32:5 And
I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and
fill the valleys with thy height.
26-36:26 A
new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I
will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh.
26-37:6 And
I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh
upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live;
and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-37:8 And
when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came
up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and
to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves
on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may
eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-39:18 Ye
shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the
blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of
bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
26-40:43 And
within were hooks, an hand broad,
fastened round about: and upon the tables was
the flesh of the offering.
26-44:7 In
that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers,
uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh,
to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even
my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have
broken my covenant because of all your abominations.
26-44:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger
that is among the children of Israel.
27-1:15 And
at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion
of the king’s meat.
27-2:11 And
it is a rare thing that the king
requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the
gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
27-4:12 The
leaves thereof were fair, and the
fruit thereof much, and in it was meat
for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the
heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh
was fed of it.
27-7:5 And
behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one
side, and it had three ribs in the
mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour
much flesh.
27-10:3 I
ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor
wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks
were fulfilled.
28-8:13 They
sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their
iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
29-2:28 And
it shall come to pass afterward, that I
will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your
young men shall see visions:
33-3:2 Who
hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and
their flesh from off their bones;
33-3:3 Who
also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their
skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for
the pot, and as flesh within the caldron.
36-1:17 And
I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because
they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust,
and their flesh as the dung.
37-2:12 If
one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment,
and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat,
shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
38-2:13 Be
silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is
raised up out of his holy habitation.
38-11:9 Then
said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to
be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
38-11:16 For,
lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which
shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one,
nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall
eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws
in pieces.
38-14:12 And
this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have
fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall
consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume
away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
40-16:17 And
Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
40-19:5 And
said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his
wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
40-19:6 Wherefore
they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
40-24:22 And
except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh
be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
40-26:41 Watch
and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
41-10:8 And
they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are
no more twain, but one flesh.
41-13:20 And
except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh
should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath
shortened the days.
41-14:38 Watch
ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
42-3:6 And
all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
42-24:39 Behold
my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit
hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
43-1:13 Which
were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh,
nor of the will of man, but of God.
43-1:14 And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
43-3:6 That
which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
43-6:51 I
am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread,
he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
43-6:52 The
Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh
to eat?
43-6:53 Then
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have
no life in you.
43-6:54 Whoso
eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath
eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
43-6:55 For
my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink
indeed.
43-6:56 He
that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood,
dwelleth in me, and I in him.
43-6:63 It
is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are
life.
43-8:15 Ye
judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
43-17:2 As
thou hast given him power over all flesh, that
he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
44-ACTS
44-2:17 And
it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit
upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams:
44-2:26 Therefore
did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
44-2:30 Therefore
being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of
the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh,
he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
44-2:31 He
seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not
left in hell, neither his flesh did see
corruption.
45-1:3 Concerning
his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to
the flesh;
45-2:28 For
he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
45-3:20 Therefore
by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be
justified in his sight: for by the law is
the knowledge of sin.
45-4:1 What
shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
45-6:19 I
speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to
uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members
servants to righteousness unto holiness.
45-7:5 For
when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins,
which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
45-7:18 For
I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,)
dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find
not.
45-7:25 I
thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve
the law of God; but with the flesh the law of
sin.
45-8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation
to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
45-8:3 For
what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
45-8:4 That
the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
45-8:5 For
they that are after the flesh do mind the things
of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit
the things of the Spirit.
45-8:8 So
then they that are in the flesh cannot please
God.
45-8:9 But
ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if
so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit
of Christ, he is none of his.
45-8:12 Therefore,
brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to
live after the flesh.
45-8:13 For
if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if
ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
45-9:3 For
I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen
according to the flesh:
45-9:5 Whose
are the fathers, and of whom as
concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
45-9:8 That
is, They which are the children of the flesh,
these are not the children of God:
but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
45-11:14 If
by any means I may provoke to emulation them
which are my flesh, and might save some of
them.
45-13:14 But
put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil
the lusts thereof.
45-14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made
weak.
46-1:26 For
ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
46-1:29 That
no flesh should glory in his presence.
46-5:5 To
deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the
Lord Jesus.
46-6:16 What?
know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith
he, shall be one flesh.
46-7:28 But
and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not
sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh:
but I spare you.
46-8:13 Wherefore,
if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh
while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
46-10:18 Behold
Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat
of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
46-15:39 All
flesh is not
the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh
of beasts, another of fishes, and another
of birds.
46-15:50 Now
this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood
cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit
incorruption.
47-1:17 When
I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose,
do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me
there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
47-4:11 For
we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life
also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
47-5:16 Wherefore
henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea,
though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet
now henceforth know we him no more.
47-7:1 Having
therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the fear of God.
47-7:5 For,
when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had
no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.
47-10:2 But
I beseech you, that I may not be bold
when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against
some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
47-10:3 For
though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after
the flesh:
47-11:18 Seeing
that many glory after the flesh, I will glory
also.
47-12:7 And
lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the
revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh,
the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
48-1:16 To
reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I
conferred not with flesh and blood:
48-2:16 Knowing
that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith
of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall
no flesh be justified.
48-2:20 I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in
me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I
live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
48-3:3 Are
ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
48-4:13 Ye
know how through infirmity of the flesh I
preached the gospel unto you at the first.
48-4:14 And
my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised
not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
48-4:23 But
he who was of the bondwoman was born
after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
48-4:29 But
as then he that was born after the flesh
persecuted him that was born after
the Spirit, even so it is now.
48-5:13 For,
brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh,
but by love serve one another.
48-5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and
ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
48-5:17 For
the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the
Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary
the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
48-5:19 Now
the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness,
48-5:24 And
they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh
with the affections and lusts.
48-6:8 For
he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the
Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
48-6:12 As
many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh,
they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution
for the cross of Christ.
48-6:13 For
neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have
you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
49-2:3 Among
whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children
of wrath, even as others.
49-2:11 Wherefore
remember, that ye being in time past
Gentiles in the flesh, who are called
Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
49-2:15 Having
abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in
himself of twain one new man, so making
peace;
49-5:29 For
no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but
nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
49-5:30 For
we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of
his bones.
49-5:31 For
this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto
his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
49-6:5 Servants,
be obedient to them that are your masters
according to the flesh, with fear and trembling,
in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
49-6:12 For
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
50-1:22 But
if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I
shall choose I wot not.
50-1:24 Nevertheless
to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
50-3:3 For
we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ
Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
50-3:4 Though
I might also have confidence in the flesh. If
any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
51-1:22 In
the body of his flesh through death, to present
you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
51-1:24 Who
now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the
afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s
sake, which is the church:
51-2:1 For
I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in
the flesh;
51-2:5 For
though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with
you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of
your faith in Christ.
51-2:11 In
whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in
putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by
the circumcision of Christ:
51-2:13 And
you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having
forgiven you all trespasses;
51-2:23 Which
things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and
neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
51-3:22 Servants,
obey in all things your masters
according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as
menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
54-3:16 And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
57-1:16 Not
now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but
how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and
in the Lord?
58-2:14 Forasmuch
then as the children are partakers of flesh and
blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he
might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
58-5:7 Who
in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up
prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able
to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
58-9:13 For
if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the
unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
58-10:20 By
a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is
to say, his flesh;
58-12:9 Furthermore
we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected
us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the
Father of spirits, and live?
59-5:3 Your
gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against
you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.
Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
60-1:24 For
all flesh is
as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass
withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
60-3:18 For
Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might
bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh,
but quickened by the Spirit:
60-3:21 The
like figure whereunto even baptism
doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward
God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
60-4:1 Forasmuch
then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh,
arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
60-4:2 That
he no longer should live the rest of his time
in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the
will of God.
60-4:6 For
for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they
might be judged according to men in the flesh,
but live according to God in the spirit.
61-2:10 But
chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the
lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of
dignities.
61-2:18 For
when they speak great swelling words of
vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh,
through much wantonness, those that
were clean escaped from them who live in error.
62-2:16 For
all that is in the world, the lust of
the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
62-4:2 Hereby
know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh is of God:
62-4:3 And
every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have
heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
63-1:7 For
many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an
antichrist.
65-1:7 Even
as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving
themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.
65-1:8 Likewise
also these filthy dreamers defile the
flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of
dignities.
65-1:23 And
others save with fear, pulling them out
of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
66-17:16 And
the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and
shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh,
and burn her with fire.
66-19:18 That
ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh
of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them
that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and
great.
66-19:21 And
the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and
all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
