45-2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and
also of the Gentile;

worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

their nations.

the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of
07-4:13 And
Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even
nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon.
07-4:16 But
Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of
Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and
there was not a man left.
23-11:10 And
in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of
the people; to it shall the Gentiles
seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
23-42:1 Behold
my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in
whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth
judgment to the Gentiles.
23-42:6 I
the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will
keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
23-49:6 And
he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the
tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of
23-49:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to
the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
23-54:3 For
thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall
inherit the Gentiles,
and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
23-60:3 And
the Gentiles
shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged;
because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of
the Gentiles
shall come unto thee.
23-60:11 Therefore
thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that
men may bring unto thee the forces of
the Gentiles,
and that their kings may be brought.
23-60:16 Thou
shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou
shalt know that I the LORD am thy
Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
23-61:6 But
ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men
shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall
ye boast yourselves.
23-61:9 And
their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all
that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the
LORD hath blessed.
23-62:2 And
the Gentiles
shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called
by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
23-66:12 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the
glory of the Gentiles
like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
23-66:19 And
I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto
the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and
Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and
Javan, to the isles afar off, that
have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my
glory among the Gentiles.
24-4:7 The
lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone
forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
24-14:22 Are
there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or
can the heavens give showers? art not
thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made
all these things.
24-16:19 O
LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the
Gentiles shall come unto thee from
the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies,
vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
24-46:1 The
word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles;
25-2:9 Her
gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king
and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.
26-4:13 And
the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of
28-8:8
29-3:9 Proclaim
ye this among the Gentiles;
Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them
come up:
33-5:8 And
the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among
the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he
go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
38-1:21 Then
said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift
up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to
scatter it.
39-1:11 For
from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place
incense shall be offered unto my
name, and a pure offering: for my name shall
be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-4:15 The
40-6:32 (For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that
ye have need of all these things.
40-10:5 These twelve
Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
40-10:18 And ye
shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony
against them and the Gentiles.
40-12:18 Behold my servant,
whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my
spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
40-12:21 And in his
name shall the Gentiles
trust.
40-20:19 And shall
deliver him to the Gentiles to
mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him:
and the third day he shall rise again.
40-20:25 But Jesus
called them unto him, and said, Ye
know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are
great exercise authority upon them.
41-10:33 Saying, Behold, we go up to
41-10:42 But Jesus
called them to him, and saith unto
them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over
them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
42-2:32 A light
to lighten the Gentiles,
and the glory of thy people
42-18:32 For he
shall be delivered unto the Gentiles,
and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
42-21:24 And they
shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all
nations: and
42-22:25 And he
said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that
exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
43-7:35 Then said
the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will
he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
44-4:27 For of a
truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and
Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles,
and the people of
44-7:45 Which also
our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before
the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
44-9:15 But the
Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my
name before the Gentiles,
and kings, and the children of
44-10:45 And they
of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter,
because that on the Gentiles
also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
44-11:1 And the
apostles and brethren that were in
44-11:18 When they heard
these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God
also to the Gentiles
granted repentance unto life.
44-13:42 And when
the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to
them the next sabbath.
44-13:46 Then Paul
and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should
first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge
yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
44-13:47 For so
hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I
have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the
ends of the earth.
44-13:48 And when
the Gentiles
heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as
were ordained to eternal life believed.
44-14:2 But the
unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against
the brethren.
44-14:5 And when
there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to
use them despitefully, and to stone
them,
44-14:27 And when
they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that
God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
44-15:3 And being
brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and
44-15:7 And when
there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good
while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the
gospel, and believe.
44-15:12 Then all
the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring
what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
44-15:14 Simeon
hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
44-15:17 That the
residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord,
who doeth all these things.
44-15:19 Wherefore
my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
44-15:23 And they
wrote letters by them after this
manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and
Cilicia:
44-18:6 And when
they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean:
from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.
44-21:11 And when
he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet,
and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the
man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
44-21:19 And when
he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among
the Gentiles by
his ministry.
44-21:21 And they
are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying
that they ought not to circumcise their children,
neither to walk after the customs.
44-21:25 As
touching the Gentiles
which believe, we have written and concluded
that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood,
and from strangled, and from fornication.
44-22:21 And he
said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
44-26:17 Delivering
thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send
thee,
44-26:20 But shewed
first unto them of
44-26:23 That
Christ should suffer, and that he
should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto
the people, and to the Gentiles.
44-28:28 Be it
known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
45-1:13 Now I
would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto
you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even
as among other Gentiles.
45-2:14 For when
the Gentiles,
which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having
not the law, are a law unto themselves:
45-2:24 For the
name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
45-3:9 What
then? are we better than they? No, in
no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
45-3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
45-9:24 Even us, whom
he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
45-9:30 What
shall we say then? That the Gentiles,
which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even
the righteousness which is of faith.
45-11:11 I say
then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
45-11:12 Now if the
fall of them be the riches of the
world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
45-11:13 For I
speak to you Gentiles,
inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
45-11:25 For I
would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should
be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel,
until the fulness of the Gentiles be
come in.
45-15:9 And that
the Gentiles
might glorify God for his mercy; as
it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
45-15:10 And again he
saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles,
with his people.
45-15:11 And again,
Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles;
and laud him, all ye people.
45-15:12 And again,
Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign
over the Gentiles; in
him shall the Gentiles
trust.
45-15:16 That I
should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the
offering up of the Gentiles
might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
45-15:18 For I will
not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me,
to make the Gentiles
obedient, by word and deed,
45-15:27 It hath
pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers
of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal
things.
45-16:4 Who have
for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but
also all the churches of the Gentiles.
46-5:1 It
is reported commonly that there is fornication
among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his
father’s wife.
46-10:20 But
I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice
to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with
devils.
46-10:32 Give
none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the
46-12:2 Ye
know that ye were Gentiles, carried
away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
46-12:13 For
by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles,
whether we be bond or free; and have
been all made to drink into one Spirit.
48-2:2 And I
went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among
the Gentiles,
but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run,
or had run, in vain.
48-2:8 (For he that
wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same
was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
48-2:12 For
before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come,
he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
48-2:14 But when
I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I
said unto Peter before them all, If
thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou
the Gentiles to
live as do the Jews?
48-2:15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners
of the Gentiles,
48-3:14 That the
blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive
the promise of the Spirit through faith.
49-2:11 Wherefore
remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are
called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh
made by hands;
49-3:1 For this
cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
49-3:6 That the
Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and
of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
49-3:8 Unto me,
who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should
preach among the Gentiles the
unsearchable riches of Christ;
49-4:17 This I
say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of
their mind,
51-1:27 To whom
God would make known what is the
riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
52-2:16 Forbidding
us to speak to the Gentiles
that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come
upon them to the uttermost.
52-4:5 Not
in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
54-2:7 Whereunto
I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
54-3:16 And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the
flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world,
received up into glory.
55-1:11 Whereunto
I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
55-4:17 Notwithstanding
the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be
fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was
delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
60-2:12 Having
your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as
evildoers, they may by your good works,
which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
60-4:3 For the
time past of our life may suffice us
to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts,
excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
64-1:7 Because that for his name’s sake they went forth,
taking nothing of the Gentiles.
66-11:2 But the
court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is
given unto the Gentiles:
and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

52-2:7 But
we were gentle among you, even as a nurse
cherisheth her children:
55-2:24 And the
servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle
unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
56-3:2 To speak
evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
59-3:17 But the
wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy
to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without
hypocrisy.
60-2:18 Servants,
be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
47-10:1 Now
I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness
of Christ, who in presence am base
among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
48-5:22 But the fruit
of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith,
