me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field; for as much money as it is worth he
shall give it me for a possession of a
buryingplace amongst you.

presence of the sons of my people give I it
thee: bury thy dead.

audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me:

shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with
thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.

the testimony that I shall give thee.
02-25:22 And
there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy

unto your seed, and they shall inherit it
for ever.
02-33:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people

sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the

him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give
them unto the priest:
03-20:24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit
their land, and I will give it unto you to
possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
03-22:14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto
the priest with the holy thing.

beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill
offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.
03-25:2 Speak unto the children of
03-25:37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy
victuals for increase.
03-25:38 I am
the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
03-25:51 If there be yet many years behind,
according unto them he shall give again the
price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.
03-25:52 And if there remain but few years
unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give
him again the price of his redemption.

you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of
the field shall yield their fruit.
03-26:6 And I will give
peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts

which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal
thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof,
and give it
unto him against whom he hath
trespassed.
04-6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance
upon thee, and give thee peace.
04-7:5 Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of

the Levites, to every man according to his service.

thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good
concerning Israel.
04-11:4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the
children of
04-11:13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me,
saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
04-11:18 And say thou unto the people,
Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept
in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give
us flesh to eat? for it was well with
us in
04-11:21 And Moses said, The people, among
whom I am, are six hundred thousand
footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh,

04-13:2 Send thou men, that they may search

04-14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he
will bring us into this land, and give it us; a
land which floweth with milk and honey.
04-15:2 Speak unto the children of
04-15:21 Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your
generations.
04-18:28 Thus ye also shall offer an heave
offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of

without the camp, and one shall slay
her before his face:
04-20:8 Take the rod, and gather thou the
assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock
before their eyes; and it shall give forth his
water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.
04-20:21 Thus
04-21:16 And from thence they went to Beer: that is the

04-22:13 And Balaam rose up in the morning,
and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD

04-22:18 And Balaam answered and said unto the
servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his
house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God,
to do less or more.
04-24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go
beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either
good or bad of mine own mind; but what
the LORD saith, that will I speak?
04-25:12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
04-26:54 To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his
inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
04-27:4 Why should the name of our father be
done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore
a possession among the brethren of our father.
04-27:7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak
right: thou shalt surely give them a possession
of an inheritance among their father’s brethren; and thou shalt cause the
inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
04-27:9 And if he have no daughter, then ye
shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
04-27:10 And if he have no brethren, then ye
shall give his inheritance unto his father’s
brethren.
04-27:11 And if his father have no brethren,
then ye shall give his inheritance unto his
kinsman that is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it
shall be unto the children of Israel a statute of judgment, as the LORD
commanded Moses.
04-27:19 And set him before Eleazar the
priest, and before all the congregation; and give
him a charge in their sight.
04-31:29 Take it of their half, and give it unto
Eleazar the priest, for an heave
offering of the LORD.
04-31:30 And of the children of Israel’s half,
thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the
asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give
them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
04-32:29 And Moses said unto them, If the
children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every
man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you;
then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a
possession:
04-33:54 And ye shall divide the land by lot
for an inheritance among your families: and
to the more ye shall give the more
inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the
less inheritance: every man’s inheritance
shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of
your fathers ye shall inherit.
04-34:13 And Moses commanded the children of
04-35:2 Command the children of
04-35:4 And the suburbs of the cities, which
ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city
and outward a thousand cubits round about.
04-35:6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for
the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two
cities.
04-35:7 So
all the cities which ye shall give to the
Levites shall be forty and eight
cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.
04-35:8 And the cities which ye shall give shall be of
the possession of the children of
04-35:13 And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.
04-35:14 Ye shall give
three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the

lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot
to the children of

you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their
seed after them.
05-1:20 And I said unto you, Ye are come
unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth give unto us.
05-1:25 And they took of the fruit of the
land in their hands, and brought it down
unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.
05-1:35 Surely there shall not one of these
men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
05-1:36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall
see it, and to him will I give the land that he
hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the
LORD.
05-1:39 Moreover your little ones, which ye
said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge
between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
05-1:45 And ye returned and wept before the
LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.
05-2:5 Meddle not with them; for I will
not give you of their land, no, not so much as a
foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
05-2:9 And the LORD said unto me, Distress
not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of
05-2:19 And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress
them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give
thee of the land of the children of Ammon any
possession; because I have given it unto the children of
05-2:28 Thou shalt sell me meat for money,
that I may eat; and give me water for money,
that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;
05-2:31 And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I
have begun to give Sihon and his land before
thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
05-4:38 To drive out nations from before
thee greater and mightier than thou art, to
bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.
05-5:31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me,
and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the
judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them
to possess it.
05-6:10 And it shall be, when the LORD thy
God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to
Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee
great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
05-6:23 And he brought us out from thence,
that he might bring us in, to give us the land
which he sware unto our fathers.

with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto
his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the
fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy
kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers
to give thee.
05-10:11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise,
take thy journey before the people,
that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.
05-11:9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD
sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to
their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
05-11:14 That I will give
you the rain of your land in his due
season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn,
and thy wine, and thine oil.
05-11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and
the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers
to give them, as the days of heaven upon the
earth.

alien: for thou art an holy people
unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.

givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee
in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.

of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath
blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
05-16:10 And thou shalt keep the feast of
weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine
hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed
thee:

to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.
05-18:3 And this shall be the priest’s due
from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give
unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.
05-19:8 And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy
coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give
thee all the land which he promised to give unto
thy fathers;
05-20:16 But of the cities of these people,
which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save
alive nothing that breatheth:
05-22:14 And give
occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I
took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
05-22:19 And they shall amerce him in an
hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto
the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin

wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give

married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because

divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee
unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
05-25:3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not
exceed: lest, if he should exceed,
and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile
unto thee.

that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD
thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers
for to give us.
05-28:11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous
in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the
fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
05-28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his
good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt
lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
05-28:55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom
he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the
straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.
05-28:65 And among these nations shalt thou
find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of
eyes, and sorrow of mind:
05-30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy
God, and that thou mayest obey his
voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in

the land which I give the children of

unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give
it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it
with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew
kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a
true token:

sore afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

his son’s hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.

unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my

money.

forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance

inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away
his face, and would eat no bread.

thee my vineyard.

there in the land.

will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set
riders upon them.

LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,

thanks unto the LORD; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever.

14-1:7 In that night did God appear unto
Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give
thee.
14-1:10 Give
me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people:
for who can judge this thy people, that
is so great?

of the kings have had that have been before
thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise
in the gates of the tents of the LORD.

that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of
the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the
LORD.

courses, as well to the great as to the small:
14-31:19 Also of the sons of Aaron the

the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed

the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.

saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of
Assyria?
14-35:12 And they removed the burnt offerings,
that they might give according to the divisions
of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.
15-4:21 Give ye
now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not builded,
until another commandment shall be
given from me.
15-9:8 And now for a little space grace
hath been shewed from the LORD our
God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give
us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
15-9:9 For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but
hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God,
and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give
us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
15-9:12 Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take

for ever.

despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:

before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give
the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and
the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast
performed thy words; for thou art righteous:
16-9:12 Moreover thou leddest them in the
day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.
16-9:15 And gavest them bread from heaven for
their hunger, and broughtest forth water for them out of the rock for their
thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in to possess the land which
thou hadst sworn to give them.
16-9:30 Yet many years didst thou forbear
them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would
they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them
into the hand of the people of the lands.
16-10:30 And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor
take their daughters for our sons:

against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the

daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

estate unto another that is better than she.

shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all
the wives shall give to their husbands honour,
both to great and small.

said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give
for his life.

out of the belly?

18-13:19 Who is he that will plead
with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall give
up the ghost.
18-32:21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any
man’s person, neither let me give flattering
titles unto man.
18-32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
18-34:2 Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give
ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.
19-2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the
heathen for thine inheritance, and
the uttermost parts of the earth for thy
possession.
19-5:1 Give
ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
19-6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
19-17:1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto
my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
19-18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and
sing praises unto thy name.
19-28:4 Give
them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their
endeavours: give them after the work of their
hands; render to them their desert.
19-29:1 Give
unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD
glory and strength.
19-29:2 Give
unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of
holiness.
19-29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with
peace.
19-30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of
his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his
holiness.

thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

and he shall give thee the desires of thine
heart.

for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
19-49:1 Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
19-49:7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
19-51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else
would I give it:
thou delightest not in burnt offering.
19-54:2 Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
19-55:1 Give
ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

is fixed: I will sing and give praise.

us help from trouble: for vain is the
help of man.

the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.

thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works
declare.

ear, O my people, to my law: incline
your ears to the words of my mouth.
19-78:20 Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters
gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give
bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
19-79:13 So we thy people and sheep of thy
pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will
shew forth thy praise to all generations.
19-80:1 Give
ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that
dwellest between the cherubims, shine
forth.
19-84:8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer:
give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
19-84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give
grace and glory: no good thing will
he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
19-85:12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which
is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save
the son of thine handmaid.

his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

pit be digged for the wicked.
19-96:7 Give
unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give
unto the LORD glory and strength.

unto the LORD the glory due unto his
name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

and give thanks at the remembrance of his
holiness.

mayest give them
their meat in due season.

thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the
people.

thanks unto the LORD, for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

and give praise, even with my glory.

help from trouble: for vain is the
help of man.

but I give
myself unto prayer.
19-111:6 He hath shewed his people the power of
his works, that he may give them the heritage of
the heathen.
19-115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but
unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.

thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
because his mercy endureth for ever.

thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
19-119:34 Give me
understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
19-119:62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous
judgments.
19-119:73 JOD. Thy hands have made me and
fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may
learn thy commandments.
19-119:125 I am
thy servant; give me understanding, that I
may know thy testimonies.
19-119:144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give
me understanding, and I shall live.
19-119:169 TAU. Let my cry come near before
thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to
thy word.
19-122:4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes
of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give
thanks unto the name of the LORD.
19-132:4 I will not give
sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to
mine eyelids,
19-136:1 O give
thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
19-136:2 O give
thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth
for ever.

unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto
thee.

answer me, and in thy righteousness.
20-1:4 To give
subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
20-3:28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and
come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou
hast it by thee.

you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

delight unto thy soul.

not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy
hearts.

her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the
heaven all the days of their life.
21-2:26 For God giveth to a man that is good
in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth
travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give
to him that is good before God. This
also is vanity and vexation of
spirit.
21-5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to
the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give
the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be
upon the earth.

tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one,

will I give thee my loves.

mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my
beloved.

floods drown it: if a man would
give all the substance of his house for love, it
would utterly be contemned.

nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye
people of Gomorrah.

children to be their princes, and
babes shall rule over them.
23-7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and
bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall
every one eat that is left in the land.

and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear,
all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces;

hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the
prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
23-13:10 For the stars of heaven and the
constellations thereof shall not give their
light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not
cause her light to shine.
23-14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day
that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow,
and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.

ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
23-30:20 And though the Lord give you the bread
of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be
removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
23-30:23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal;
and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in
that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
23-32:9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease;
hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear
unto my speech.

righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of
the Gentiles;
23-42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name:
and my glory will I not give to another, neither
my praise to graven images.
23-42:12 Let them give
glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.
23-42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? who
will hearken and hear for the time to come?
23-43:4 Since thou wast precious in my
sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
23-43:6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my
sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
23-43:20 The beast of the field shall honour
me, the dragons and the owls: because I give
waters in the wilderness, and rivers
in the desert, to give drink to my people, my
chosen.
23-45:3 And I will give
thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou
mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee
by thy name, am the God of
Israel.
23-48:11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give
my glory unto another.
23-49:6 And he said, It is a light thing
that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to
restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give
thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end
of the earth.
23-49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable
time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I
will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant
of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate
heritages;
23-49:20 The children which thou shalt have,
after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.
23-51:4 Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed
from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
23-55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow
from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it
bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to
the sower, and bread to the eater:
23-56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a
name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give
them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
23-60:19 The sun shall be no more thy light by
day; neither for brightness shall the moon give
light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy
God thy glory.
23-61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in
Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the
oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD,
that he might be glorified.
23-62:7 And give
him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the
earth.
23-62:8 The LORD hath sworn by his right
hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to
be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy
wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
24-3:15 And I will give
you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and
understanding.
24-3:19 But I said, How shall I put thee
among the children, and give thee a pleasant
land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call
me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
24-4:12 Even
a full wind from those places shall
come unto me: now also will I give sentence
against them.
24-4:16 Make ye mention to the nations;
behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers
come from a far country, and give out their
voice against the cities of Judah.
24-6:10 To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot
hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no
delight in it.
24-8:10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given
to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth
falsely.
24-9:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give
them water of gall to drink.
24-11:5 That I may perform the oath which I
have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a
land flowing with milk and honey, as it
is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.
24-13:15 Hear ye, and give
ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken.
24-13:16 Give
glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet
stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the
shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
24-14:13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold,
the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have
famine; but I will give you assured peace in
this place.
24-14:22 Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can
the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee:
for thou hast made all these things.
24-15:13 Thy substance and thy treasures will
I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy
borders.
24-16:7 Neither shall men tear themselves for
them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give
them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
24-17:3 O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and
all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy
high places for sin, throughout all thy borders.
24-17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his
doings.
24-18:18 Then said they, Come, and let us
devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest,
nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us
smite him with the tongue, and let us not give
heed to any of his words.
24-18:19 Give heed to me, O LORD, and
hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.
24-19:7 And I will make void the counsel of
Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword
before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their
carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of
the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
24-20:4 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I
will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall
by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into
the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon,
and shall slay them with the sword.
24-20:5 Moreover I will deliver all the
strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things
thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil
them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
24-22:25 And I will give
thee into the hand of them that seek thy life, and into the hand of them whose face thou fearest, even
into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the
Chaldeans.
24-24:7 And I will give
them an heart to know me, that I am the
LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall
return unto me with their whole heart.
24-24:8 And as the evil figs, which cannot
be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and
the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the
land of Egypt:
24-25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them
all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter
his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation;
he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants
of the earth.
24-25:31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the
LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will
give them that
are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
24-26:24 Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the
son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give
him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
24-29:6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and
daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give
your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may
be increased there, and not diminished.
24-29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think
toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
24-30:16 Therefore all they that devour thee
shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into
captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon
thee will I give for a prey.
24-32:3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut
him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD,
Behold, I will give this city into the hand of
the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
24-32:19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work:
for thine eyes are open upon all the
ways of the sons of men: to give every one
according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
24-32:22 And hast given them this land, which
thou didst swear to their fathers to give them,
a land flowing with milk and honey;
24-32:28 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold,
I will give this city into the hand of the
Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall
take it:
24-32:39 And I will give
them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of
them, and of their children after them:
24-34:2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of
Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the
LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the
hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
24-34:18 And I will give
the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words
of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in twain,
and passed between the parts thereof.
24-34:20 I will even give
them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their
life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and
to the beasts of the earth.
24-34:21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his
princes will I give into the hand of their enemies,
and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king
of Babylon’s army, which are gone up from you.
24-35:2 Go unto the house of the Rechabites,
and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the
chambers, and give them wine to drink.
24-37:21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that
they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers’
street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in
the court of the prison.
24-38:15 Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If
I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not
surely put me to death? and if I give thee
counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?
24-38:16 So Zedekiah the king sware secretly
unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth,
that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy
life.
24-44:30 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his
enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king
of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that
sought his life.
24-45:5 And seekest thou great things for
thyself? seek them not: for, behold,
I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou
goest.
24-48:9 Give
wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be
desolate, without any to dwell therein.
24-50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is
his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of
Babylon.
25-2:18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O
wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye
cease.
25-3:65 Give
them sorrow of heart, thy curse unto them.
25-4:3 Even the sea monsters draw out the
breast, they give suck to their young ones: the
daughter of my people is become cruel,
like the ostriches in the wilderness.
26-2:8 But thou, son of man, hear what I
say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy
mouth, and eat that I give thee.
26-3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man,
cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
26-3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a
watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
26-7:21 And I will give
it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth
for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
26-11:2 Then said he unto me, Son of man,
these are the men that devise
mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
26-11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the
countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give
you the land of Israel.
26-11:19 And I will give
them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the
stony heart out of their flesh, and will give
them an heart of flesh:
26-15:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire
for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of
Jerusalem.
26-16:33 They give
gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest
them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.
26-16:36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy
filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms
with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood
of thy children, which thou didst give unto
them;
26-16:38 And I will judge thee, as women that
break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give
thee blood in fury and jealousy.
26-16:39 And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down
thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip
thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked
and bare.
26-16:41 And they shall burn thine houses with
fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will
cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.
26-16:61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and
be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger:
and I will give them unto thee for daughters,
but not by thy covenant.
26-17:15 But he rebelled against him in
sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give
him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant,
and be delivered?
26-20:28 For
when I had brought them into the land, for
the which I lifted up mine hand to give it
to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they
offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of
their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there
their drink offerings.
26-20:42 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into
the land of Israel, into the country for the
which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your
fathers.
26-21:11 And he hath given it to be furbished,
that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
26-21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn,
it: and it shall be no more, until he
come whose right it is; and I will give it him.
26-23:31 Thou hast walked in the way of thy
sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine
hand.
26-23:46 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will
bring up a company upon them, and will give them
to be removed and spoiled.
26-25:10 Unto the men of the east with the
Ammonites, and will give them in possession,
that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.
26-29:19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar
king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take
her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
26-29:21 In that day will I cause the horn of the
house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give
thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-32:7 And when I shall put thee out, I
will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun
with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her
light.
26-33:15 If
the wicked restore the pledge, give again
that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity;
he shall surely live, he shall not die.
26-33:27 Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they
that are in the wastes shall fall by
the sword, and him that is in the open
field will I give to the beasts to be devoured,
and they that be in the forts and in
the caves shall die of the pestilence.
26-36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and
I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
26-39:4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains
of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto
the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the
beasts of the field to be devoured.
26-39:11 And it shall come to pass in that
day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the
valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall
they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.
26-43:19 And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of
Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young
bullock for a sin offering.
26-44:28 And it shall be unto them for an
inheritance: I am their inheritance:
and ye shall give them no possession in Israel:
I am their possession.
26-44:30 And the first of all the firstfruits
of all things, and every oblation of
all, of every sort of your oblations,
shall be the priest’s: ye shall also give unto
the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in
thine house.
26-45:8 In the land shall be his possession in
Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house of Israel according to their tribes.
26-45:13 This is the oblation that ye shall offer; the sixth part of an ephah of
an homer of wheat, and ye shall give the sixth
part of an ephah of an homer of barley:
26-45:16 All the people of the land shall give this oblation for the prince in Israel.
26-45:17 And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt
offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the
new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he
shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering,
and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.
26-46:5 And the meat offering shall be an ephah for a ram, and the meat
offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give,
and an hin of oil to an ephah.
26-46:11 And in the feasts and in the
solemnities the meat offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a
ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and
an hin of oil to an ephah.
26-46:16 Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the
prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the
inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall
be their possession by inheritance.
26-46:17 But if he give
a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the
year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall
be his sons’ for them.
26-46:18 Moreover the prince shall not take of
the people’s inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession;
but he shall give
his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered
every man from his possession.
26-47:14 And ye shall inherit it, one as well
as another: concerning the which I
lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers:
and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.
26-47:23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger
sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
27-1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee,
ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and
water to drink.
27-2:16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of
the king that he would give him time, and that
he would shew the king the interpretation.
27-5:17 Then Daniel answered and said before
the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy
rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known
to him the interpretation.
27-6:2 And over these three presidents; of
whom Daniel was first: that the
princes might give accounts unto them, and the
king should have no damage.
27-8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and
another saint said unto that certain saint
which spake, How long shall be the
vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of
desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the
host to be trodden under foot?
27-9:22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
27-11:17 He shall also set his face to enter
with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall
he do: and he shall give him the daughter of
women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
27-11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a
vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour
of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by
flatteries.
28-2:5 For their mother hath played the
harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go
after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my
drink.
28-2:15 And I will give
her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and
she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she
came up out of the land of Egypt.
28-4:18 Their drink is sour: they have
committed whoredom continually: her rulers with
shame do love, Give ye.
28-5:1 Hear ye this, O priests; and
hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O
house of the king; for judgment is toward
you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
28-9:14 Give
them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
28-11:8 How shall I give
thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver
thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my
repentings are kindled together.
28-13:10 I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all
thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give
me a king and princes?
29-1:2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this
been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
29-2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the
LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people,
O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach,
that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the
people, Where is their God?
33-1:14 Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
33-5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of
his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.
33-6:7 Will the LORD be pleased with
thousands of rams, or with ten
thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my
firstborn for my transgression, the
fruit of my body for the sin of my
soul?
33-6:14 Thou shalt eat, but not be
satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in
the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.
37-2:9 The glory of this latter house
shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place
will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
38-3:7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If
thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt
also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
38-8:12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give
her fruit, and the ground shall give her
increase, and the heavens shall give their dew;
and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.
38-10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time
of the latter rain; so the LORD shall
make bright clouds, and give them showers of
rain, to every one grass in the field.
38-11:12 And I said unto them, If ye think
good, give me
my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
39-2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will
not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I
will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have
cursed them already, because ye do not lay it
to heart.
40-4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the
Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest
at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
40-4:9 And saith unto him, All these
things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down
and worship me.
40-5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall
put away his wife, let him give her a writing of
divorcement:
40-5:42 Give
to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou
away.
40-6:11 Give
us this day our daily bread.
40-7:6 Give
not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine,
lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
40-7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom
if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

things to them that ask him?

thee.

the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give
you. And they went their way.

way: I will give unto this last, even as unto
thee.
40-20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall

silver.

my Father, and he shall presently give me more
than twelve legions of angels?

haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the
Baptist.
41-6:37 He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we
go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give
them to eat?
41-8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou
hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have
treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
41-10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my
left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is
prepared.
41-10:45 For even the Son of man came not to
be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give
his life a ransom for many.
41-12:9 What shall therefore the lord of the
vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
41-12:14 And when they were come, they say
unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou
regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it
lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
41-12:15 Shall we give,
or shall we not give? But he, knowing their
hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
41-13:17 But woe to them that are with child,
and to them that give suck in those days!
41-13:24 But in those days, after that
tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
41-14:11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might
conveniently betray him.
42-1:32 He shall be great, and shall be
called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give
unto him the throne of his father David:
42-1:77 To give
knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
42-1:79 To give
light to them that sit in darkness and in
the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
42-4:6 And the devil said unto him, All
this power will I give thee, and the glory of
them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
42-4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
42-6:30 Give
to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
42-6:38 Give,
and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men give into
your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured
to you again.
42-8:55 And her spirit came again, and she
arose straightway: and he commanded to give her
meat.
42-9:13 But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more
but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this
people.
42-10:7 And in the same house remain, eating
and drinking such things as they give: for the
labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
42-10:19 Behold, I give
unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
42-11:3 Give
us day by day our daily bread.
42-11:7 And he from within shall answer and
say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed;
I cannot rise and give thee.
42-11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not
rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet
because of his importunity he will rise and give
him as many as he needeth.
42-11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of
you that is a father, will he give him a stone?
or if he ask a fish, will he for a
fish give him a serpent?
42-11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more
shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
42-11:36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark,
the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
42-11:41 But rather give
alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.
42-12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is
your Father’s good pleasure to give you the
kingdom.
42-12:33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old,
a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither
moth corrupteth.
42-12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that
faithful and wise steward, whom his lord
shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due
season?
42-12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather
division:
42-12:58 When thou goest with thine adversary
to the magistrate, as thou art in the
way, give diligence that thou mayest be
delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee
to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
42-14:9 And he that bade thee and him come
and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou
begin with shame to take the lowest room.
42-15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
42-16:2 And he called him, and said unto
him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an
account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
42-16:12 And if ye have not been faithful in
that which is another man’s, who shall give you
that which is your own?
42-17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
42-18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
42-19:8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto
the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give
to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I
restore him fourfold.
42-19:24 And he said unto them that stood by,
Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
42-20:10 And at the season he sent a servant
to the husbandmen, that they should give him of
the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.
42-20:16 He shall come and destroy these
husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to
others. And when they heard it, they
said, God forbid.
42-20:22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
42-21:15 For I will give
you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay
nor resist.
42-21:23 But woe unto them that are with
child, and to them that give suck, in those
days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this
people.
42-22:5 And they were glad, and covenanted
to give him money.
42-23:2 And they began to accuse him,
saying, We found this fellow perverting
the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to
Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
43-1:22 Then said they unto him, Who art
thou? that we may give an answer to them that
sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
43-4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to
draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to
drink.
43-4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If
thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and
he would have given thee living water.
43-4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water
that I shall give him shall never thirst; but
the water that I shall give him shall be in him
a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
43-4:15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come
hither to draw.
43-6:27 Labour not for the meat which
perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the
Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God
the Father sealed.
43-6:34 Then said they unto him, Lord,
evermore give us this bread.
43-6:51 I am the living bread which came
down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the
bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will
give for the life of the world.
43-6:52 The Jews therefore strove among
themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
43-7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?
43-9:24 Then again called they the man that
was blind, and said unto him, Give God the
praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
43-10:28 And I give
unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
43-11:22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever
thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
43-13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I
shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he
gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
43-13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said
unto him, Buy those things that we
have need of against the feast; or, that he should give
something to the poor.
43-13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have
loved you, that ye also love one another.
43-14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he
shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide
with you for ever;
43-14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
43-15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have
chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that
whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
43-16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me
nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in
my name, he will give it you.
43-17:2 As thou hast given him power over all
flesh, that he should give eternal life to as
many as thou hast given him.
44-3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold
have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In
the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
44-5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right
hand to be a Prince and a Saviour,
for to give repentance to Israel, and
forgiveness of sins.
44-6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the
word.
44-7:5 And he gave him none inheritance in
it, no, not so much as to set his
foot on: yet he promised that he would give it
to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
44-7:38 This is he, that was in the church in
the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the
lively oracles to give unto us:
44-8:19 Saying, Give
me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy
Ghost.
44-10:43 To him give
all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him
shall receive remission of sins.
44-13:16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning
with his hand said, Men of Israel,
and ye that fear God, give audience.
44-13:34 And as concerning that he raised him
up from the dead, now no more to
return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give
you the sure mercies of David.
44-19:40 For we are in danger to be called in
question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.
44-20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to
God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are
sanctified.
44-20:35 I have shewed you all things, how
that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of
the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give
than to receive.
45-8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
45-12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not
yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
45-12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed
him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so
doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
45-14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
45-16:4 Who have for my life laid down their
own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but
also all the churches of the Gentiles.
46-7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except
it be with consent for a time, that
ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer;
and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
46-7:25 Now concerning virgins I have no
commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment,
as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.
46-10:30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why
am I evil spoken of for that for which I give
thanks?
46-10:32 Give
none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of
God:
46-12:3 Wherefore I give
you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus
accursed: and that no man can say
that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
46-13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to
feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it
profiteth me nothing.
46-14:7 And even things without life giving
sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a
distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?
46-14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to
the battle?
47-4:6 For God, who commanded the light to
shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the
glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
47-5:12 For we commend not ourselves again
unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our
behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer
them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
47-8:10 And herein I give my advice: for this
is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be
forward a year ago.
47-9:7 Every man according as he purposeth
in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God
loveth a cheerful giver.
49-1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
49-1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you
the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
49-4:27 Neither give
place to the devil.
49-4:28 Let him that stole steal no more:
but rather let him labour, working with his
hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give
to him that needeth.
49-5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that
sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give
thee light.
51-1:3 We give
thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
51-4:1 Masters, give
unto your servants that which is just
and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
52-1:2 We give
thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers;
52-5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ
Jesus concerning you.
53-2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of
the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
53-3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
54-1:4 Neither give
heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than
godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
54-4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
54-4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may
appear to all.
54-5:7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
54-5:14 I will therefore that the younger
women marry, bear children, guide the house, give
none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
54-6:13 I give
thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius
Pilate witnessed a good confession;
55-1:16 The Lord give
mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not
ashamed of my chain:
55-2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
55-2:25 In meekness instructing those that
oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give
them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
55-4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me
a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all
them also that love his appearing.
58-2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have
heard, lest at any time we should let them
slip.
58-13:17 Obey them that have the rule over
you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not
with grief: for that is unprofitable
for you.
59-2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart
in peace, be ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not those things
which are needful to the body; what doth
it profit?
60-3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your
hearts: and be ready always to give an
answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with
meekness and fear:
60-4:5 Who shall give
account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
61-1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure:
for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
62-5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin
which is not unto death, he shall
ask, and he shall give him life for them that
sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray
for it.
66-2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst
of the paradise of God.
66-2:10 Fear none of those things which thou
shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some
of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten
days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give
thee a crown of life.
66-2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name
written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
66-2:23 And I will kill her children with
death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins
and hearts: and I will give unto every one of
you according to your works.
66-2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth
my works unto the end, to him will I give power
over the nations:
66-2:28 And I will give
him the morning star.
66-4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on
the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
66-10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto
him, Give me the little book. And he said unto
me, Take it, and eat it up; and it
shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
66-11:3 And I will give
power unto my two witnesses, and they
shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and
threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
66-11:17 Saying, We give
thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because
thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
66-11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy
wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that
thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the
prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and
shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
66-13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image
of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the
image of the beast should be killed.
66-14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God,
and give glory to him; for the hour of his
judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and
the fountains of waters.
66-16:9 And men were scorched with great
heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and
they repented not to give him glory.
66-16:19 And the great city was divided into
three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup
of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
66-17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
66-17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to
fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their
kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
66-18:7 How much she hath glorified herself,
and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give
her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see
no sorrow.
66-19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is
come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
66-21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I
am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give
unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
66-22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my
reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
