01-1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and
every tree, in the which is the fruit
of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
01-1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and
to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
wherein there is life, I have given every
green herb for meat: and it was so.
01-9:3 Every moving thing that liveth
shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given
you all things.
01-15:3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou
hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my
house is mine heir.
01-15:18 In the same day the LORD made a
covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given
this land, from the
01-16:5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that
she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and
thee.
01-20:16 And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I
have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto
all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.
01-21:7 And she said, Who would have said
unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given
children suck? for I have born him a
son in his old age.
01-24:35 And the LORD hath blessed my master
greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given
him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants,
and camels, and asses.
01-24:36 And Sarah my master’s wife bare a son
to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given
all that he hath.
01-27:37 And Isaac answered and said unto
Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have
I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?
01-29:33 And she conceived again, and bare a
son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given
me this son also: and she called his
name Simeon.
01-30:6 And Rachel said, God hath judged me,
and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me
a son: therefore called she his name Dan.
01-30:18 And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name
Issachar.
01-31:9 Thus God hath taken away the cattle
of your father, and given them to me.
01-33:5 And he lifted up his eyes, and saw
the women and the children; and said, Who are
those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.
01-38:14 And she put her widow’s garments off
from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open
place, which is by the way to
Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.
01-43:23 And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the
God of your father, hath given you treasure in
your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them.
01-48:9 And Joseph said unto his father,
They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place.
And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.
01-48:22 Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I
took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.
02-5:16 There
is no straw given unto thy servants, and they
say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in
thine own people.
02-5:18 Go
therefore now, and work; for there
shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye
deliver the tale of bricks.
02-16:15 And
when the children of
02-16:29 See,
for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath,
therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man
in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
02-21:4 If
his master have given him a wife, and she have
born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master’s,
and he shall go out by himself.
02-31:6 And
I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the
son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise
hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
03-6:17 It shall not be baken with leaven. I
have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.
03-7:34 For the wave breast and the heave
shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of
their peace offerings, and have given them unto
Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the
children of Israel.
03-7:36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of
03-10:14 And the wave breast and heave
shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters
with thee: for they be thy due, and
thy sons’ due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the
children of Israel.
03-10:17 Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin
offering in the holy place, seeing it is most
holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation,
to make atonement for them before the LORD?
03-17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement
for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
03-19:20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a
woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed
to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given
her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not
free.
03-20:3 And I will set my face against that
man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary,
and to profane my holy name.
04-3:9 And thou shalt give the Levites
unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly
given unto him out of the children of
04-8:16 For they are wholly given unto me from among
the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the
children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
04-8:19 And I have given
the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to
his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children
of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for
the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel,
when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
04-16:14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into
a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given
us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these
men? we will not come up.
04-18:6 And I, behold, I have taken your
brethren the Levites from among the children of
04-18:7 Therefore thou and thy sons with
thee shall keep your priest’s office for every thing of the altar, and within
the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your
priest’s office unto you as a service
of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
04-18:8 And the LORD spake unto Aaron,
Behold, I also have given thee the charge of
mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto
thee have I given them by reason of the
anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.
04-18:11 And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave
offerings of the children of
04-18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the
best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall
offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee.
04-18:19 All the heave offerings of the holy
things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee,
by a statute for ever: it is a
covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.
04-18:21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in
04-18:24 But the tithes of the children of
04-18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say
unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye
shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the
tithe.
04-20:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron,
Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of
Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I
have given them.
04-20:24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his
people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of
04-21:29 Woe to thee,
04-26:54 To many thou shalt give the more
inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one
shall his inheritance be given according to
those that were numbered of him.
04-26:62 And those that were numbered of them
were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they
were not numbered among the children of
04-27:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Get
thee up into this
04-32:5 Wherefore, said they, if we have
found grace in thy sight, let this land be given
unto thy servants for a possession, and bring
us not over
04-32:7 And wherefore discourage ye the
heart of the children of
04-32:9 For when they went up unto the
04-33:53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell
therein: for I have given you the land to
possess it.
05-1:3 And it came to pass in the fortieth
year, in the eleventh month, on the first day
of the month, that Moses spake
unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in commandment unto them;
05-2:5 Meddle not with them; for I will
not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
05-2:9 And the LORD said unto me, Distress
not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee
of their land for a possession;
because I have given Ar unto the children of
05-2:19 And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress
them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the
children of Ammon any possession;
because I have given it unto the children of
05-2:24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and
pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given
into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to
possess it, and contend with him in
battle.
05-3:18 And I commanded you at that time,
saying, The LORD your God hath given you this
land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children
of Israel, all that are meet for the
war.
05-3:19 But your wives, and your little
ones, and your cattle, (for I know
that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;
05-3:20 Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you,
and until they also possess the land
which the LORD your God hath given them beyond
05-8:10 When thou hast eaten and art full,
then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
05-9:23 Likewise when the LORD sent you from
Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of
the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.
05-12:15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and
eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the
blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given
thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of
the hart.
05-12:21 If the place which the LORD thy God
hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of
thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given
thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy
soul lusteth after.
05-13:12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD
thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
05-16:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy
God which he hath given thee.
05-20:14 But the women, and the little ones,
and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou
shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
05-22:17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these
are the tokens of my daughter’s
virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
05-25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD
thy God hath given thee rest from all thine
enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance
of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
05-26:9 And he hath brought us into this
place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and
honey.
05-26:10 And now, behold, I have brought the
firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given
me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD
thy God:
05-26:11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the
Levite, and the stranger that is among
you.
05-26:12 When thou hast made an end of tithing
all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given
it unto the Levite, the stranger, the
fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
05-26:13 Then thou shalt say before the LORD
thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them
unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow,
according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not
transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:
05-26:14 I have not eaten thereof in my
mourning, neither have I taken away ought
thereof for any unclean use, nor given
ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the
LORD my God, and have done according
to all that thou hast commanded me.
05-26:15 Look down from thy holy habitation,
from heaven, and bless thy people
05-28:31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof:
thine ass shall be violently taken
away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given
unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.
05-28:32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given
unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.
05-28:52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy
gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst,
throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout
all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given
thee.
05-28:53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine
own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God
hath given thee, in the siege, and in the
straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:
05-29:4 Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and
ears to hear, unto this day.
05-29:26 For they went and served other gods,
and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
06-1:3 Every place that the sole of your
foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto
you, as I said unto Moses.
06-1:13 Remember the word which Moses the
servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given
you this land.
06-1:15 Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also
have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall
return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD’S
servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.
06-2:9 And she said unto the men, I know
that the LORD hath given you the land, and that
your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint
because of you.
06-2:14 And the men answered her, Our life
for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD
hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly
and truly with thee.
06-6:2 And the LORD said unto Joshua, See,
I have given into thine hand
06-6:16 And it came to pass at the seventh
time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people,
Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.
06-8:1 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear
not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people of war with thee, and arise,
go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the
king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his land:
06-14:3 For Moses had given the inheritance of two tribes and an half tribe
on the other side Jordan: but unto the Levites he gave none inheritance among
them.
06-15:19 Who answered, Give me a blessing; for
thou hast given me a south land; give me also
springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
06-17:14 And the children of Joseph spake unto
Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit,
seeing I am a great people, forasmuch
as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?
06-18:3 And Joshua said unto the children of
Israel, How long are ye slack to go
to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
06-22:4 And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them:
therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of
the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan.
06-22:7 Now to the one half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given possession in
06-23:1 And it came to pass a long time
after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel
from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.
06-23:13 Know for a certainty that the LORD
your God will no more drive out any of these
nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges
in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land
which the LORD your God hath given you.
06-23:15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon
you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all
evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD
your God hath given you.
06-23:16 When ye have transgressed the
covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served
other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be
kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which
he hath given unto you.
06-24:13 And I have given
you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye
dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
06-24:33 And Eleazar the son of Aaron died;
and they buried him in a hill that

blessing: for thou hast given me a south land;
give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the
nether springs.
07-14:20 But Samson’s wife was given to
his companion, whom he had used as his friend.
07-15:6 Then the Philistines said, Who hath
done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he
had taken his wife, and given her to his
companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.
07-15:18 And he was sore athirst, and called
on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this
great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst,
and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?
07-18:10 When ye go, ye shall come unto a
people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given
it into your hands; a place where there
is no want of any thing that is in
the earth.
08-2:12 The LORD recompense thy work, and a
full reward be given thee of the LORD God of
09-1:27 For this child I prayed; and the
LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of
him:

Merab Saul’s daughter should have been given to
David, that she was given unto Adriel the
Meholathite to wife.
09-22:13 And Saul said unto him, Why have ye
conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast enquired of God
for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
09-25:27 And now this blessing which thine
handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be given
unto the young men that follow my lord.
09-25:44 But Saul had given
Michal his daughter, David’s wife, to Phalti the son of Laish, which was of Gallim.
09-28:17 And the LORD hath done to him, as he
spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:
09-30:23 Then said David, Ye shall not do so,
my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given
us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into
our hand.
10-4:10 When one told me, saying, Behold,
Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and
slew him in Ziklag, who thought that
I would have given him a reward for his tidings:
10-7:1 And it came to pass, when the king
sat in his house, and the LORD had given him
rest round about from all his enemies;
10-9:9 Then the king called to Ziba,
Saul’s servant, and said unto him, I have given
unto thy master’s son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
10-12:8 And I gave thee thy master’s house,
and thy master’s wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of
10-12:14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou
hast given great occasion to the enemies of the
LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is
born unto thee shall surely die.
10-17:7 And Hushai said unto Absalom, The
counsel that Ahithophel hath given is not good at this time.
10-18:11 And Joab said unto the man that told
him, And, behold, thou sawest him, and
why didst thou not smite him there to the ground? And I would have given thee ten shekels
of silver, and a girdle.
10-19:42 And all the men of
10-22:36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy
gentleness hath made me great.
10-22:41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might
destroy them that hate me.
11-1:48 And also thus said the king, Blessed
be the LORD God of Israel, which hath
given one to
sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing it.
11-2:21 And she said, Let Abishag the
Shunammite be given to Adonijah thy brother to
wife.
11-3:6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto
thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in
truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou
hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given
him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this
day.
11-3:12 Behold, I have done according to thy
words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an
understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither
after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
11-3:13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both
riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto
thee all thy days.
11-5:4 But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
11-5:7 And it came to pass, when Hiram
heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.
11-8:36 Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive
the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the
good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast
given to thy people for an inheritance.
11-8:56 Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest
unto his people
11-9:7 Then will I cut off Israel out of
the land which I have given them; and this
house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and
Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side?
for he hath given the inhabitants of the land
into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
13-23:25 For David said, The LORD God of
13-28:5 And of all my sons, (for the LORD
hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon
my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over
13-29:3 Moreover, because I have set my
affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and
silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that
I have prepared for the holy house,
13-29:14 But who am I, and what is my
people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all
things come of thee, and of thine own
have we given thee.
14-2:12 Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of
14-6:27 Then hear thou from heaven, and
forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people
14-7:20 Then will I pluck them up by the
roots out of my land which I have given them;
and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my
sight, and will make it to be a
proverb and a byword among all nations.
14-14:6 And he built fenced cities in
14-14:7 Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us
build these cities, and make about them walls,
and towers, gates, and bars, while the
land is yet before us; because we
have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on
every side. So they built and prospered.
14-20:11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy
possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.
14-22:6 And he returned to be healed in
Jezreel because of the wounds which were given
him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of
14-25:9 And Amaziah said to the man of God,
But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of
14-32:29 Moreover he provided him cities, and
possessions of flocks and herds in abundance: for God had given him substance very much.
14-34:14 And when they brought out the money
that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of
the law of the LORD given by Moses.
14-34:18 Then Shaphan the scribe told the
king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath given me a
book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
14-36:23 Thus saith Cyrus king of
15-1:2 Thus saith Cyrus king of
15-4:21 Give ye now commandment to cause
these men to cease, and that this city be not builded, until another commandment shall be given from me.
15-6:4 With
three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber: and let the expenses
be given out of the king’s house:
15-6:8 Moreover I make a decree what ye
shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God:
that of the king’s goods, even of the
tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given
unto these men, that they be not hindered.
15-6:9 And that which they have need of,
both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of
heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the priests
which are at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail:
15-7:6 This Ezra went up from
15-7:19 The vessels also that are given thee for the service of the house of thy God, those deliver thou before the God of
Jerusalem.
15-9:13 And after all that is come upon us
for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast
punished us less than our iniquities deserve,
and hast given us such deliverance as this;
16-2:7 Moreover I said unto the king, If
it please the king, let letters be given me to
the governors beyond the river, that they may convey me over till I come into
Judah;
16-10:29 They clave to their brethren, their
nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which
was given by Moses the servant of God, and to
observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and
his statutes;
16-13:5 And he had prepared for him a great
chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and
the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was
commanded to be given
to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the
priests.
16-13:10 And I perceived that the portions of
the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers,
that did the work, were fled every one to his field.
17-2:3 And let the king appoint officers
in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair
young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the
custody of Hege the king’s chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their
things for purification be given them:
17-2:9 And the maiden pleased him, and she
obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification,
with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out
of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
17-2:13 Then thus came every maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women
unto the king’s house.
17-3:11 And the king said unto Haman, The
silver is given
to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.
17-3:14 The copy of the writing for a
commandment to be given in every province was
published unto all people, that they should be ready against that day.
17-3:15 The posts went out, being hastened
by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given
in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city
Shushan was perplexed.
17-4:8 Also he gave him the copy of the
writing of the decree that was given at Shushan
to destroy them, to shew it unto
Esther, and to declare it unto her,
and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto
him, and to make request before him for her people.
17-5:3 Then said the king unto her, What
wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy
request? it shall be even given thee to the half
of the kingdom.
17-7:3 Then Esther the queen answered and
said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king,
let my life be given me at my petition, and my
people at my request:
17-8:7 Then the king Ahasuerus said unto
Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have
hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.
17-8:13 The copy of the writing for a
commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, and that
the Jews should be ready against that day to avenge themselves on their
enemies.
17-8:14 So
the posts that rode upon mules and camels
went out, being hastened and pressed on by the king’s commandment. And the
decree was given at Shushan the palace.
17-9:14 And the king commanded it so to be
done: and the decree was given at Shushan; and
they hanged Haman’s ten sons.
18-3:20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the
bitter in soul;
18-3:23 Why
is light given to a man whose way is hid,
and whom God hath hedged in?
18-9:24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges
thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
18-10:18 Wherefore then hast thou brought me
forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up
the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
18-15:19 Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.
18-22:7 Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast
withholden bread from the hungry.
18-24:23 Though
it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
18-33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, and
the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
18-34:13 Who hath given
him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
18-37:10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
18-38:36 Who hath put wisdom in the inward
parts? or who hath given understanding to the
heart?
18-39:19 Hast thou given
the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
19-16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the
night seasons.
19-18:35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right
hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
19-18:40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy
them that hate me.
19-21:2 Thou hast given
him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
19-44:11 Thou hast given
us like sheep appointed for meat; and
hast scattered us among the heathen.
19-60:4 Thou hast given
a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth.
Selah.
19-61:5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows:
thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
19-71:3 Be thou my strong habitation,
whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given
commandment to save me; for thou art my
rock and my fortress.
19-72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall
be given of the gold of
19-78:24 And had rained down manna upon them
to eat, and had given them of the corn of
heaven.
19-78:63 The fire consumed their young men;
and their maidens were not given to marriage.
19-79:2 The dead bodies of thy servants have
they given to
be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the
beasts of the earth.
19-111:5 He hath given
meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
19-112:9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for
ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
19-115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the
Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the
children of men.
19-118:18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but
he hath not given me over unto death.
19-120:3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false
tongue?
19-124:6 Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
20-19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor
lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given
will he pay him again.
20-23:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if
thou be a man given to appetite.
20-24:21 My son, fear thou the LORD and the
king: and meddle not with them that
are given to change:
21-1:13 And I gave my heart to seek and
search out by wisdom concerning all things
that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
21-3:10 I have seen the travail, which God
hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in
it.
21-5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his
portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is
the gift of God.
21-6:2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth
nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to
eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is
vanity, and it is an evil
disease.
21-8:8 There
is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness
deliver those that are given to it.
21-9:9 Live joyfully with the wife whom
thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity:
for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou
takest under the sun.
21-12:11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given
from one shepherd.
23-3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
23-8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the
LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in
23-9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto
us a son is given: and the government shall be
upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The
mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
23-23:11 He stretched out his hand over the
sea, he shook the kingdoms: the LORD hath given
a commandment against the merchant city, to
destroy the strong holds thereof.
23-33:16 He shall dwell on high: his place of
defence shall be the munitions of
rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
23-35:2 It shall blossom abundantly, and
rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of
23-37:10 Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king
of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying,
Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of
the king of Assyria.
23-43:28 Therefore I have profaned the princes
of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the
curse, and
23-47:6 I was wroth with my people, I have
polluted mine inheritance, and given them into
thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very
heavily laid thy yoke.
23-47:8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given
to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not
sit as a widow, neither shall I know
the loss of children:
23-50:4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know
how to speak a word in season to him that
is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as
the learned.
23-55:4 Behold, I have given him for a
witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
24-3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes
whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous
sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
24-3:18 In those days the house of
24-6:13 For from the least of them even unto
the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto
the priest every one dealeth falsely.
24-8:10 Therefore will I give their wives
unto others, and their fields to them
that shall inherit them: for every
one from the least even unto the greatest is given
to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth
falsely.
24-8:13 I will surely consume them, saith
the LORD: there shall be no grapes on
the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
24-8:14 Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves,
and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the
LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given
us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
24-11:18 And the LORD hath given me knowledge of
it, and I know it: then thou
shewedst me their doings.
24-12:7 I have forsaken mine house, I have
left mine heritage; I have given the dearly
beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
24-13:20 Lift up your eyes, and behold them
that come from the north: where is the
flock that was given thee, thy beautiful flock?
24-15:9 She that hath borne seven
languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her
sun is gone down while it was yet
day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I
deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
24-21:10 For I have set my face against this
city for evil, and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of
24-25:5 They said, Turn ye again now every
one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land
that the LORD hath given unto you and to your
fathers for ever and ever:
24-27:5 I have made the earth, the man and
the beast that are upon the ground,
by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given
it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
24-27:6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar
the king of
24-28:14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the
God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations,
that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him:
and I have given him the beasts of the field
also.
24-32:22 And hast given
them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land
flowing with milk and honey;
24-32:24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto
the city to take it; and the city is given into
the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of
the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast spoken is come to pass;
and, behold, thou seest it.
24-32:25 And thou hast said unto me, O Lord
GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
24-32:43 And fields shall be bought in this
land, whereof ye say, It is desolate
without man or beast; it is given into the hand
of the Chaldeans.
24-35:15 I have sent also unto you all my
servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend
your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in
the land which I have given to you and to your
fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
24-38:3 Thus saith the LORD, This city shall
surely be given into the hand of the king of
24-38:18 But if thou wilt not go forth to the
king of
24-39:17 But I will deliver thee in that day,
saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into
the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.
24-44:20 Then Jeremiah said unto all the
people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer,
saying,
24-47:7 How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD
hath given it a charge against
24-50:15 Shout against her round about: she
hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen,
her walls are thrown down: for it is the
vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.
24-52:34 And for his diet, there was a continual diet given
him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all
the days of his life.
25-1:11 All her people sigh, they seek
bread; they have given their pleasant things for
meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.
25-2:7 The Lord hath cast off his altar,
he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up
into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in
the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.
25-5:6 We have given
the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied
with bread.
26-3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness,
and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die:
because thou hast not given him warning, he
shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be
remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-4:15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt
prepare thy bread therewith.
26-11:15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy
kindred, and all the house of
26-15:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the
inhabitants of
26-16:17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of
my gold and of my silver, which I had given
thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,
26-16:34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas
none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and
no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art
contrary.
26-17:18 Seeing he despised the oath by
breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given
his hand, and hath done all these things,
he shall not escape.
26-18:7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his
pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given
his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
26-18:8 He that hath not given forth upon
usury, neither hath taken any increase, that
hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between
man and man,
26-18:13 Hath given
forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not
live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall
be upon him.
26-18:16 Neither hath oppressed any, hath not
withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the
hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,
26-20:15 Yet also I lifted up my hand unto
them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing
with milk and honey, which is the
glory of all lands;
26-21:11 And he hath given
it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is
furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
26-28:25 Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall
have gathered the house of
26-29:5 And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all
the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be
brought together, nor gathered: I have given
thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.
26-29:20 I have given
him the
26-33:24 Son of man, they that inhabit those
wastes of the
26-35:12 And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken
against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
26-37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that
I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your
fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for
ever: and my servant David shall be their
prince for ever.
26-47:11 But the miry places thereof and the
marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given
to salt.
27-2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O
thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom
and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou
hast now made known unto us the
king’s matter.
27-2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
27-2:38 And wheresoever the children of men
dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over
them all. Thou art this head of gold.
27-4:16 Let his heart be changed from man’s,
and let a beast’s heart be given unto him: and
let seven times pass over him.
27-5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
27-7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof
were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet
as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
27-7:6 After this I beheld, and lo
another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl;
the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given
to it.
27-7:11 I beheld then because of the voice
of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
27-7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all
people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall
not pass away, and his kingdom that which
shall not be destroyed.
27-7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and
judgment was given to the saints of the most
High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
27-7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and
shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:
and they shall be given into his hand until a
time and times and the dividing of time.
27-7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and
the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose
kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
27-8:12 And an host was given him against
the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression,
and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
27-11:6 And in the end of years they shall
join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to
the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power
of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat
her, and he that strengthened her in these
times.
27-11:11 And the king of the south shall be
moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he
shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
28-2:9 Therefore will I return, and take
away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will
recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
28-2:12 And I will destroy her vines and her
fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are
my rewards that my lovers have given me: and
I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
29-2:23 Be glad then, ye children of
29-3:3 And they have cast lots for my
people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and
sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
30-4:6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and
want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the
LORD.
30-9:15 And I will plant them upon their
land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
34-1:14 And the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of
the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I
will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
40-7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you:
40-9:8 But when the multitude saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God,
which had given such power unto men.
40-10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no
thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given
you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
40-12:39 But he answered and said unto them,
An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign
be given to it, but the sign of the prophet
Jonas:
40-13:11 He answered and said unto them,
Because it is given unto you to know the
mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
40-13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever
hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
40-14:9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless
for the oath’s sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given
her.
40-14:11 And his head was brought in a
charger, and given to the damsel: and she
brought it to her mother.
40-16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation
seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given
unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
40-19:11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
40-20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall
drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized
with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given
to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
40-21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The
40-22:30 For in the resurrection they neither
marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the
angels of God in heaven.
40-25:29 For unto every one that hath shall be
given, and he shall have abundance: but from him
that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
40-26:9 For this ointment might have been
sold for much, and given to the poor.
40-28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them,
saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and
in earth.
41-4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it
is given to know the mystery of the
41-4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed
what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto
you that hear shall more be given.
41-4:25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken
even that which he hath.
41-5:43 And he charged them straitly that no
man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.
41-6:2 And when the sabbath day was come,
he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his
hands?
41-8:12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit,
and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you,
There shall no sign be given unto this
generation.
41-10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my
left hand is not mine to give; but it
shall be given to them for whom it is
prepared.
41-12:25 For when they shall rise from the
dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage;
but are as the angels which are in heaven.
41-13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought
beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall
be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it
is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
41-14:5 For it might have been sold for more
than three hundred pence, and have been given to
the poor. And they murmured against her.
41-14:23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
41-14:44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss,
that same is he; take him, and lead him away
safely.
42-6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same
measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
42-8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the
42-8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for
whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and
whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
42-11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it
shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
42-11:29 And when the people were gathered
thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign;
and there shall no sign be given it, but the
sign of Jonas the prophet.
42-12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit
things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given,
of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they
will ask the more.
42-17:27 They did eat, they drank, they
married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed
them all.
42-19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was
returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be
called unto him, to whom he had given the money,
that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
42-19:26 For I say unto you, That unto every
one which hath shall be given; and from him that
hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
42-20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them,
The children of this world marry, and are given in
marriage:
42-20:35 But they which shall be accounted
worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry,
nor are given in marriage:
42-22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks,
and brake it, and gave unto them,
saying, This is my body which is given for you:
this do in remembrance of me.
43-1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but
grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
43-3:27 John answered and said, A man can
receive nothing, except it be given him from
heaven.
43-3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
43-4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If
thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to
drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
43-5:26 For as the Father hath life in
himself; so hath he given to the Son to have
life in himself;
43-5:27 And hath given
him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
43-5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the
Father hath given me to finish, the same works
that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
43-6:11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when
he had given thanks, he distributed to the
disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the
fishes as much as they would.
43-6:23 (Howbeit there came other boats from
Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)
43-6:39 And this is the Father’s will which
hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me
I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
43-6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you,
that no man can come unto me, except it were given
unto him of my Father.
43-7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit,
which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because
that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
43-11:57 Now both the chief priests and the
Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any
man knew where he were, he should shew it,
that they might take him.
43-12:5 Why was not this ointment sold for
three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
43-13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come
from God, and went to God;
43-13:15 For I have given
you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
43-17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to
as many as thou hast given him.
43-17:7 Now they have known that all things
whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
43-17:8 For I have given
unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came
out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
43-17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the
world, but for them which thou hast given me;
for they are thine.
43-17:11 And now I am no more in the world,
but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine
own name those whom thou hast given me, that
they may be one, as we are.
43-17:14 I have given
them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the
world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I
have given them; that they may be one, even as
we are one:
43-17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom
thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that
they may behold my glory, which thou hast given
me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
43-18:11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up
thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
43-19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no
power at all against me, except it
were given thee from above: therefore he that
delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
44-1:2 Until the day in which he was taken
up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given
commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
44-3:16 And his name through faith in his
name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is
by him hath given him this perfect soundness in
the presence of you all.
44-4:12 Neither is there salvation in any
other: for there is none other name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved.
44-5:32 And we are his witnesses of these
things; and so is also the Holy
Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey
him.
44-8:18 And when Simon saw that through
laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given,
he offered them money,
44-17:16 Now while Paul waited for them at
44-17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in
the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof
he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the
dead.
44-20:2 And when he had gone over those
parts, and had given them much exhortation, he
came into
44-21:40 And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and
beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great
silence, he spake unto them in the
Hebrew tongue, saying,
44-24:26 He hoped also that money should have
been given him of Paul, that he might loose him:
wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
44-27:24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be
brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given
thee all them that sail with thee.
45-5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is
given unto us.
45-11:8 (According as it is written, God
hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that
they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
45-11:35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him
again?
45-12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to
think of himself more highly than he
ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man
the measure of faith.
45-12:6 Having then gifts differing
according to the grace that is given to us,
whether prophecy, let us prophesy according
to the proportion of faith;
45-12:13 Distributing to the necessity of
saints; given to hospitality.
45-15:15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have
written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because
of the grace that is given to me of God,
46-1:4 I thank my God always on your
behalf, for the grace of God which is given you
by Jesus Christ;
46-2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit
of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things
that are freely given to us of God.
46-3:10 According to the grace of God which
is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I
have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take
heed how he buildeth thereupon.
46-11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is
a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
46-11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you:
this do in remembrance of me.
46-12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit
is given to every man to profit withal.
46-12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the
word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
46-12:24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having
given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
46-16:1 Now concerning the collection for
the saints, as I have given order to the
churches of
47-1:11 Ye also helping together by prayer
for us, that for the gift bestowed upon
us by the means of many persons thanks may be given
by many on our behalf.
47-1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
47-5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the
selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
47-5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and
hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
47-9:9 (As it is written, He hath
dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his
righteousness remaineth for ever.
47-10:8 For though I should boast somewhat
more of our authority, which the Lord hath given
us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
47-12:7 And lest I should be exalted above
measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of
Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
47-13:10 Therefore I write these things being
absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which
the Lord hath given me to edification, and not
to destruction.
48-2:9 And when James, Cephas, and John,
who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given
unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they
unto the circumcision.
48-3:21 Is
the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been
a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by
the law.
48-3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all
under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
48-4:15 Where is then the blessedness ye
spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it
had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
49-3:2 If ye have heard of the
dispensation of the grace of God which is given
me to you-ward:
49-3:7 Whereof I was made a minister,
according to the gift of the grace of God given
unto me by the effectual working of his power.
49-3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least
of all saints, is this grace given, that I
should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
49-4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of
Christ.
49-4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all
uncleanness with greediness.
49-5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath
loved us, and hath given himself for us an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
49-6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to
make known the mystery of the gospel,
50-1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on
him, but also to suffer for his sake;
50-2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is above
every name:
51-1:25 Whereof I am made a minister,
according to the dispensation of God which is given
to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
52-4:8 He therefore that despiseth,
despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given
unto us his holy Spirit.
53-2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and
God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given
us everlasting consolation and good
hope through grace,
54-3:2 A bishop then must be blameless,
the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
54-3:3 Not given
to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler,
not covetous;
54-3:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave,
not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not
greedy of filthy lucre;
54-4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in
thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the
laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
55-1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of
love, and of a sound mind.
55-1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according
to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
55-3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
56-1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as
the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given
to filthy lucre;
56-2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh
holiness, not false accusers, not given to much
wine, teachers of good things;
57-1:22 But withal prepare me also a
lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
58-2:13 And again, I will put my trust in
him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
58-4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have
spoken of another day.
59-1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him
ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,
and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
61-1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that
hath called us to glory and virtue:
61-1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these
ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that
is in the world through lust.
61-3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to
the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
62-3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments
dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by
the Spirit which he hath given us.
62-4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him,
and he in us, because he hath given us of his
Spirit.
62-5:11 And this is the record, that God
hath given to us eternal life, and this life is
in his Son.
62-5:20 And we know that the Son of God is
come, and hath given us an understanding, that
we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is
the true God, and eternal life.
66-6:2 And I saw, and behold a white
horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to
conquer.
66-6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another:
and there was given unto him a great sword.
66-6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale
horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And
power was given unto them over the fourth part
of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the
beasts of the earth.
66-6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto
them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants
also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
66-7:2 And I saw another angel ascending
from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud
voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to
hurt the earth and the sea,
66-8:2 And I saw the seven angels which
stood before God; and to them were given seven
trumpets.
66-8:3 And another angel came and stood at
the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given
unto him much incense, that he should offer it
with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the
throne.
66-9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I
saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
66-9:3 And there came out of the smoke
locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given
power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
66-9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they
should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
66-11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood,
saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that
worship therein.
66-11:2 But the court which is without the
temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given
unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
66-12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly
into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and
times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
66-13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and
blasphemies; and power was given unto him to
continue forty and two months.
66-13:7 And it was given
unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
66-16:6 For they have shed the blood of
saints and prophets, and thou hast given them
blood to drink; for they are worthy.
66-16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his
vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him
to scorch men with fire.
66-20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in
their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
