01-GENESIS
01-2:5 And
every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the
field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the
earth, and there was not a man to
till the ground.
01-2:6 But
there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
01-2:7 And
the LORD God formed man of the dust
of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul.
01-2:9 And
out of the ground made the LORD God to grow
every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life
also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
01-2:19 And
out of the ground the LORD God formed every
beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam
called every living creature, that was the
name thereof.
01-3:17 And
unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and
hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat
of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
01-3:19 In
the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
01-3:23 Therefore
the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
01-4:2 And
she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a
tiller of the ground.
01-4:3 And
in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
01-4:10 And
he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me
from the ground.
01-4:12 When
thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth
yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the
earth.
01-5:29 And
he called his name Noah, saying, This same
shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
01-7:23 And
every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things,
and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah
only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
01-8:8 Also
he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the
face of the ground;
01-8:13 And
it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and
Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
01-8:21 And
the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not
again curse the ground any more for man’s sake;
for the imagination of man’s heart is evil
from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I
have done.
01-18:2 And
he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he
saw them, he ran to meet them from
the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
01-19:1 And
there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and
Lot seeing them rose up to meet them;
and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
01-19:25 And
he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the
cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground
seven times, until he came near to his brother.

Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in
unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it

they speedily took down every man his sack to the ground,
and opened every man his sack.

Judah and his brethren came to Joseph’s house; for he was yet there: and they fell before him on the ground.
02-3:5 And
he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place
whereon thou standest is holy ground.
02-4:3 And
he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it
on the ground, and it became a serpent; and
Moses fled from before it.
02-8:21 Else,
if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy
servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the
Egyptians shall be full of swarms of
flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
02-9:23 And
Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and
hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground;
and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
02-14:16 But
lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it:
and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
02-14:22 And
the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and
the waters were a wall unto them on
their right hand, and on their left.
02-16:14 And
when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
02-32:20 And
he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children
of Israel drink of it.
03-20:25 Ye
shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between
unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast,
or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
04-11:8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground
it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and
the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
04-16:31 And
it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
05-4:18 The
likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground,
the likeness of any fish that is in
the waters beneath the earth:
05-9:21 And
I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and
stamped it, and ground it very
small, even until it was as small as
dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the
mount.
05-15:23 Only
thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.
05-22:6 If
a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether
they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon
the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
05-28:4 Blessed
shall be the fruit of thy body, and
the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy
cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
05-28:11 And
the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in
the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground,
in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
05-28:56 The
tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole
of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and
tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward
her son, and toward her daughter,
06-3:17 And
the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites
passed over on dry ground, until all the people
were passed clean over Jordan.

he died.

Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak
but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it

let there be dew.
07-6:40 And
God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew
on all the ground.
07-13:20 For

wife looked on it, and fell on their
faces to the ground.

down to the ground of the children of Israel
again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword.

she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground,
and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest

stranger?
09-3:19 And
Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to
the ground.
09-5:4 And
when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground
before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his
hands were cut off upon the
threshold; only the stump of Dagon
was left to him.

blood.
09-14:45 And
the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great
salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the
LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the
people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
09-20:31 For

thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch
him unto me, for he shall surely die.

within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground
at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.
09-28:14 And
he said unto her, What form is he of?
And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is
covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his
face to the ground, and bowed himself.

when the woman of Tekoah spake to the king, she fell on her face to the ground, and did obeisance, and said, Help, O king.

yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
10-14:22 And
Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed
himself, and thanked the king: and Joab said, To day thy servant knoweth that I
have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king, in that the king hath fulfilled
the request of his servant.

and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother pursued
after Sheba the son of Bichri.

the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of
this city is pleasant, as my lord
seeth: but the water is nought, and
the ground barren.
12-4:37 Then
she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out.
12-9:26 Surely

LORD; and I will requite thee in this plat, saith the LORD. Now therefore take and cast him into the plat of ground, according

firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the
LORD:
16-10:37 And
that we should bring the firstfruits
of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine
and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the
tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the
same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
18-1:20 Then
Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
18-2:13 So
they sat down with him upon the ground seven
days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.
18-5:6 Although
affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the
ground;
18-14:8 Though

spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
18-18:10 The
snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
18-38:27 To
satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to
spring forth?
18-39:24 He
swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage:
neither believeth he that it is the
sound of the trumpet.
19-74:7 They

the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.

the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be
low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar
spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall
whisper out of the dust.
23-30:23 Then
shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth,
and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large
pastures.
23-30:24 The
oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground
shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with
the fan.
23-35:7 And
the parched ground shall become a pool, and the
thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
23-44:3 For
I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my
blessing upon thine offspring:
23-47:1 Come
down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is
no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called
tender and delicate.
23-51:23 But
I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy
soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
23-53:2 For
he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we
shall see him, there is no beauty
that we should desire him.
24-4:3 For
thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.
24-7:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon
this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon
the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and
shall not be quenched.
24-14:2 Judah
mourneth, and the gates thereof languish; they are black unto the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.
24-14:4 Because
the ground is chapt, for there was no rain in
the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.
24-25:33 And
the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither
gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
24-27:5 I
have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great
power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet
unto me.
25-2:2 The
Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he
hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he
hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes
thereof.
25-2:9 Her
gates are sunk into the ground; he hath
destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is
no more; her prophets also find
no vision from the LORD.
25-2:10 The
elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground,
and keep silence: they have cast up
dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins
of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.
25-2:21 The
young and the old lie on the ground in the
streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou
hast killed, and not pitied.
26-12:6 In
their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the
twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.
26-12:12 And
the prince that is among them shall
bear upon his shoulder in the
twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out
thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground
with his eyes.
26-13:14 So
will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be
discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof:
and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-19:12 But
she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground,
and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered;
the fire consumed them.
26-19:13 And
now she is planted in the wilderness,
in a dry and thirsty ground.
26-24:7 For
her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured
it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
26-26:11 With
the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy
people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.
26-26:16 Then
all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away
their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves
with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground,
and shall tremble at every moment,
and be astonished at thee.
26-28:17 Thine
heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by
reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground,
I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
26-38:20 So
that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the
field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall
shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep
places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
26-41:16 The
door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their
three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from
the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;
26-41:20 From
the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.
26-42:6 For
they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the
pillars of the courts: therefore the
building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.
26-43:14 And
from the bottom upon the ground even to
the lower settle shall be two cubits,
and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall
be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
27-8:5 And
as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the
whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the
goat had a notable horn between his
eyes.
27-8:7 And
I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him,
and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram
to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground,
and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his
hand.
27-8:10 And
it waxed great, even to the host of
heaven; and it cast down some of the
host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped
upon them.
27-8:12 And
an host was given him against the
daily sacrifice by reason of
transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground;
and it practised, and prospered.
27-8:18 Now
as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
27-10:9 Yet
heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then
was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
27-10:15 And
when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
28-2:18 And
in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and
with the fowls of heaven, and with the
creeping things of the ground: and I will break
the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie
down safely.
28-10:12 Sow
to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it
is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
30-3:14 That
in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also
visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and
fall to the ground.
31-1:3 The
pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of
the rock, whose habitation is high;
that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
37-1:11 And
I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the
corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth
forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
38-8:12 For
the seed shall be prosperous; the
vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall
give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the
remnant of this people to possess all these things.
39-3:11 And
I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits
of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her
fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-10:29 Are
not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
40-13:8 But
other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit,
some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
40-13:23 But
he that received seed into the good ground is he
that heareth the word, and understandeth it;
which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some
sixty, some thirty.
40-15:35 And
he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
41-4:5 And
some fell on stony ground, where it had not much
earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
41-4:8 And
other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit
that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty,
and some an hundred.
41-4:16 And
these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground;
who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
41-4:20 And
these are they which are sown on good ground;
such as hear the word, and receive it, and
bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
41-4:26 And
he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
41-8:6 And
he commanded the people to sit down on the ground:
and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his
disciples to set before them; and
they did set them before the people.
41-9:20 And
they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare
him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed
foaming.
41-14:35 And
he went forward a little, and fell on the ground,
and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
42-8:8 And
other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and
bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that
hath ears to hear, let him hear.
42-8:15 But
that on the good ground are they, which in an honest
and good heart, having heard the word, keep it,
and bring forth fruit with patience.
42-12:16 And
he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground
of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
42-13:7 Then
said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come
seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it
the ground?
42-14:18 And
they all with one consent began to
make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee
have me excused.
42-19:44 And
shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy
children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another;
because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
42-22:44 And
being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great
drops of blood falling down to the ground.
43-4:5 Then
cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
43-8:6 This
they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped
down, and with his finger wrote on
the ground, as
though he heard them not.
43-8:8 And
again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
43-9:6 When
he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and
made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the
clay,
43-12:24 Verily,
verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it
bringeth forth much fruit.
43-18:6 As
soon then as he had said unto them, I am he,
they went backward, and fell to the ground.
44-7:33 Then
said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou
standest is holy ground.
44-22:7 And
I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying
unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
54-3:15 But
if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the
house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

01-GENESIS
01-21:33 And
Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of
the LORD, the everlasting God.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-16:21 Thou
shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near
unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s
young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the
altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove
that is by it:
07-6:26 And
build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered
place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood
of the grove which thou shalt cut down.
07-6:28 And
when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal
was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was
offered upon the altar that was built.
07-6:30 Then
the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out thy son, that he may die:
because he hath cast down the altar of Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove that was by
it.
11-15:13 And
also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
11-16:33 And
Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke
the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before
him.
12-13:6 Nevertheless
they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained
the grove also in Samaria.)
12-17:16 And
they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten
images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and
served Baal.
12-21:3 For
he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and
he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove,
as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served
them.
12-21:7 And
he set a graven image of the grove that he had
made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this
house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will
I put my name for ever:
12-23:4 And
the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second
order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the
LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned
them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them
unto Bethel.
12-23:6 And
he brought out the grove from the house of the
LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook
Kidron, and stamped it small to
powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the
people.
12-23:7 And
he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for
the grove.
12-23:15 Moreover
the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the
son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place
he brake down, and burned the high place, and
stamped it small to powder, and
burned the grove.
14-15:16 And
also concerning Maachah the mother of
Asa the king, he removed her from being queen,
because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa
cut down her idol, and stamped it, and
burnt it at the brook Kidron.

02-EXODUS
02-34:13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images,
and cut down their groves:
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-7:5 But
thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down
their images, and cut down their groves, and
burn their graven images with fire.
05-12:3 And
ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven
images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
07-3:7 And
the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD
their God, and served Baalim and the groves.
11-14:15 For
the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall
root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall
scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.
11-14:23 For
they also built them high places, and images, and groves,
on every high hill, and under every green tree.
11-18:19 Now
therefore send, and gather to me all
Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and
the prophets of the groves four hundred, which
eat at Jezebel’s table.
12-17:10 And
they set them up images and groves in every high
hill, and under every green tree:
12-18:4 He
removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that
Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to
it: and he called it Nehushtan.
12-23:14 And
he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves,
and filled their places with the bones of men.
14-14:3 For
he took away the altars of the strange gods,
and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves:
14-17:6 And
his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high
places and groves out of Judah.
14-19:3 Nevertheless
there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart
to seek God.
14-24:18 And
they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and
Jerusalem for this their trespass.
14-31:1 Now
when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities
of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars
out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had
utterly destroyed them all. Then all the
children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
14-33:3 For
he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and
he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves,
and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
14-33:19 His
prayer also, and how God was
intreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he
built high places, and set up groves and graven
images, before he was humbled: behold, they are
written among the sayings of the seers.
14-34:3 For
in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after
the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah
and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves,
and the carved images, and the molten images.
14-34:4 And
they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down;
and the groves, and the carved images, and the
molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon
the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
14-34:7 And
when he had broken down the altars and the groves,
and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols
throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.
23-17:8 And
he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, either
the groves, or the images.
23-27:9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be
purged; and this is all the fruit
to take away his sin; when he maketh all the
stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
24-17:2 Whilst
their children remember their altars and their groves
by the green trees upon the high hills.
33-5:14 And
I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of
thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
