02-9:18 Behold, to morrow about this time I
will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such
as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.
02-9:19 Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou
hast in the field; for upon every man
and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the
hail shall come down upon them, and they shall
die.
02-9:22 And the LORD said unto Moses,
Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon
beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
02-9:23 And Moses stretched forth his rod
toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail,
and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
02-9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail,
very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it
became a nation.
02-9:25 And the hail
smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every
tree of the field.
02-9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where
the children of Israel were, was
there no hail.
02-9:28 Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no
longer.
02-9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as I
am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither
shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest
know how that the earth is the
Lord’s.
02-9:33 And Moses went out of the city from
Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the
earth.
02-9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain
and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he

02-10:5 And they shall cover the face of the
earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue
of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you
out of the field:
02-10:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch
out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up
upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.
02-10:15 For they covered the face of the whole
earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land,
and all the fruit of the trees which the hail
had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs
of the field, through all the land of Egypt.
18-38:22 Hast
thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of
the hail,
19-18:12 At
the brightness that was before him
his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
19-18:13 The
LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and
coals of fire.
19-78:47 He

19-78:48 He
gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their
flocks to hot thunderbolts.
19-105:32 He

fulfilling his word:
23-28:2 Behold,
the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which
as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing,
shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
23-28:17 Judgment
also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the
waters shall overflow the hiding place.
23-32:19 When
it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and
the city shall be low in a low place.
37-2:17 I
smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail
in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned
not to me, saith the LORD.
40-26:49 And
forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
40-27:29 And when
they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the
knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
40-28:9 And as
they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by
the feet, and worshipped him.
41-15:18 And began
to salute him, Hail, King
of the Jews!
42-1:28 And the
angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that
art highly favoured, the Lord is with
thee: blessed art thou among women.
43-19:3 And said,
Hail, King of the Jews! and they
smote him with their hands.
66-8:7 The
first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast
upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass
was burnt up.
66-11:19 And the
temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of
his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an
earthquake, and great hail.
66-16:21 And there
fell upon men a great hail out of
heaven, every stone about the weight
of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was
exceeding great.

23-30:30 And
the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the
lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the
flame of a devouring fire, with scattering,
and tempest, and hailstones.

mine anger, and great hailstones

it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
03-13:36 Then the
priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the
priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
03-13:37 But if the
scall be in his sight at a stay, and that
there is black hair grown up therein; the
scall is healed, he is clean: and the
priest shall pronounce him clean.
03-13:40 And the
man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
03-13:41 And he
that hath his hair fallen off from the part of
his head toward his face, he is forehead
bald: yet is he clean.
03-14:8 And he
that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean:
and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his
tent seven days.
03-14:9 But it
shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even
all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall
wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
04-6:5 All the
days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head:
until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair
of his head grow.
04-6:18 And the
Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take
the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace
offerings.
04-6:19 And the
priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out
of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is
shaven:
04-31:20 And purify
all your raiment, and all that is
made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.
07-16:22 Howbeit
the hair of his head began to grow again after
he was shaven.
07-20:16 Among
all this people there were seven
hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and
not miss.
09-14:45 And
the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die, who hath wrought this great
salvation in Israel? God forbid: as the
LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his
head fall to the ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people
rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
09-19:13 And
Michal took an image, and laid it in
the bed, and put a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster, and covered it with a cloth.
09-19:16 And
when the messengers were come in, behold, there
was an image in the bed, with a pillow of goats’ hair for his bolster.
10-14:11 Then
said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest
not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my
son. And he said, As the LORD liveth,
there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the
earth.
10-14:26 And
when he polled his head, (for it was at every year’s end that he polled it: because the hair was heavy on him,
therefore he polled it:) he weighed the hair of
his head at two hundred shekels after the king’s weight.
11-1:52 And
Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall
be found in him, he shall die.
15-9:3 And
when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down
astonied.
16-13:25 And
I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked
off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters
unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.
18-4:15 Then
a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my
flesh stood up:
22-4:1 Behold,
thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair
is as a flock of goats, that appear
from mount Gilead.
22-6:5 Turn
away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of
goats that appear from Gilead.
22-7:5 Thine
head upon thee is like Carmel, and
the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries.
23-3:24 And
it shall come to pass, that instead of
sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead
of well set hair baldness; and instead of a
stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning
instead of beauty.
23-7:20 In
the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the
king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the
feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
23-50:6 I
gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
24-7:29 Cut
off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away,
and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and
forsaken the generation of his wrath.
26-5:1 And
thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and
cause it to pass upon thine head and
upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
26-16:7 I
have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased
and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair
is grown, whereas thou wast naked and
bare.
27-3:27 And
the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being
gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor
was an hair of their head singed, neither were
their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
27-7:9 I
beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose
garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
40-3:4 And the
same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a
leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
40-5:36 Neither
shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
41-1:6 And John
was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle
of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;
42-21:18 But there
shall not an hair of your head perish.
43-11:2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with
ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose
brother Lazarus was sick.)
43-12:3 Then took
Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of
Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the
house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
44-27:34 Wherefore
I pray you to take some meat: for
this is for your health: for there shall not an hair
fall from the head of any of you.
46-11:14 Doth
not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
46-11:15 But
if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her:
for her hair
is given her for a covering.
54-2:9 In like
manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness
and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or
pearls, or costly array;
60-3:3 Whose
adorning let it not be that outward adorning
of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of
gold, or of putting on of apparel;
66-6:12 And I beheld
when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and
the moon became as blood;
66-9:8 And they
had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth
were as the teeth of lions.

01-42:38 And he said,
My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left
alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye
bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the
grave.

take this also from me, and mischief befall him, ye shall bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

priest look on it, and, behold, there be no
white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than
the skin, but be somewhat dark; then
the priest shall shut him up seven days:

without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin,
the suckling also with the man of
gray hairs.
19-40:12 For
innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon
me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
19-69:4 They
that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs
of mine head: they that would destroy me, being
mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
23-46:4 And
even to your old age I am he; and
even to hoar hairs
will I carry you: I have made, and I
will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
27-4:33 The
same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from
men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven,
till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
28-7:9 Strangers
have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it
not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon
him, yet he knoweth not.
40-10:30 But the
very hairs of your head are all numbered.

at his feet behind him weeping, and
began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and
kissed his feet, and anointed them with
the ointment.
42-7:44 And he
turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into
thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet
with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
42-12:7 But even
the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
66-1:14 His head
and his hairs
were white like wool, as white as
snow; and his eyes were as a flame of
fire;

garment; and they called his name Esau.

loins. And he said, It is Elijah the
Tishbite.

God shall wound the head of his enemies, and
the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on
still in his trespasses.
