01-3:22 And the LORD
God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and
now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also
of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
01-4:11 And now
art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy
brother’s blood from thy hand;
01-8:9 But the
dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the
ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into
the ark.
01-9:2 And the
fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and
upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all
the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they
delivered.
01-9:5 And
surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand
of every beast will I require it, and at the hand
of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will
I require the life of man.
01-13:9 Is not
the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou
wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the
right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then
I will go to the left.
01-14:15 And he
divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them,
and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand
of
01-14:20 And
blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
01-14:22 And Abram
said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand
unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
01-16:6 But Abram
said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand;
do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled
from her face.
01-16:12 And he
will be a wild man; his hand will be against
every man, and every man’s hand against him; and
he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
01-19:10 But the
men put forth their hand, and pulled
01-19:16 And while
he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand,
and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful
unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
01-21:18 Arise,
lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for
I will make him a great nation.
01-21:30 And he
said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand,
that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.
01-22:6 And
Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son;
and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife;
and they went both of them together.
01-22:10 And
Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the
knife to slay his son.
01-22:12 And he
said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do
thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast
not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
01-24:2 And
Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he
had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:
01-24:9 And the
servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham
his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.
01-24:10 And the
servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the
goods of his master were in his hand: and he
arose, and went to
01-24:18 And she said,
Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.
01-24:49 And now if
ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me;
that I may turn to the right hand, or to the
left.
01-25:26 And after
that came his brother out, and his hand took
hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore
years old when she bare them.
01-27:17 And she
gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.
01-27:41 And Esau
hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau
said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.
01-30:35 And he removed
that day the he goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she goats
that were speckled and spotted, and every one that had some white in it, and
all the brown among the sheep, and gave them into the hand
of his sons.
01-31:29 It is in
the power of my hand to do you hurt: but the God
of your father spake unto me yesternight, saying, Take thou heed that thou
speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
01-31:39 That which
was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day, or
stolen by night.
01-32:11 Deliver
me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother,
from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he
will come and smite me, and the mother with the children.
01-32:13 And he
lodged there that same night; and took of that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother;
01-32:16 And he
delivered them into the hand of his servants,
every drove by themselves; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and
put a space betwixt drove and drove.
01-33:10 And Jacob
said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my
present at my hand: for therefore I have seen
thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
01-33:19 And he
bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for
an hundred pieces of money.
01-35:4 And they
gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears;
and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.
01-37:22 And Reuben
said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the
wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he
might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.
01-37:27 Come, and
let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand
be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were
content.
01-38:18 And he
said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy
bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand.
And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.
01-38:20 And Judah
sent the kid by the hand of his friend the
Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman’s hand:
but he found her not.
01-38:28 And it
came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
01-38:29 And it
came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that,
behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this
breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
01-38:30 And
afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
01-39:3 And his
master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did
to prosper in his hand.
01-39:4 And
Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer
over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
01-39:6 And he
left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he
knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly
person, and well favoured.
01-39:8 But he
refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is
with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
01-39:12 And she
caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.
01-39:13 And it
came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,
01-39:22 And the
keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand
all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he
was the doer of it.
01-39:23 The keeper
of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he
did, the LORD made it to prosper.
01-40:11 And
Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the
grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.
01-40:13 Yet within
three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place:
and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand,
after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
01-40:21 And he
restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into
Pharaoh’s hand:
01-41:35 And let
them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under
the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in
the cities.
01-41:42 And
Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put
it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in
vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;
01-41:44 And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up
his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.
01-42:37 And Reuben
spake unto his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to thee:
deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him
to thee again.
01-43:9 I will be
surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require
him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear
the blame for ever:
01-43:12 And take
double money in your hand; and the money that
was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:
01-43:15 And the
men took that present, and they took double money in their hand, and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to
Egypt, and stood before Joseph.
01-43:21 And it
came to pass, when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and, behold, every
man’s money was in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight: and we have
brought it again in our hand.
01-43:26 And when
Joseph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to
the earth.
01-44:17 And he
said, God forbid that I should do so: but the man in whose hand the cup is found, he shall be my servant; and as
for you, get you up in peace unto your father.
01-46:4 I will go
down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and
Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
01-47:29 And the
time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said
unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with
me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:
01-48:13 And Joseph
took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward
Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand,
and brought them near unto him.
01-48:14 And Israel
stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon
Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand
upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the
firstborn.
01-48:17 And when Joseph
saw that his father laid his right hand upon the
head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s
head.
01-48:18 And Joseph
said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy
right hand upon his head.
01-48:22 Moreover I
have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.
01-49:8 Judah,
thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand
shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down
before thee.
02-2:19 And
they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand
of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.
02-3:8 And
I am come down to deliver them out of the hand
of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a
large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the
Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the
Hivites, and the Jebusites.
02-3:19 And
I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
02-3:20 And
I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with
all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let
you go.
02-4:2 And
the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand?
And he said, A rod.
02-4:4 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand,
and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand,
and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
02-4:6 And
the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand
into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his
bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand
was leprous as snow.
02-4:7 And
he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again.
And he put his hand into his bosom again; and
plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other
flesh.
02-4:13 And
he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand
of him whom thou wilt send.
02-4:17 And
thou shalt take this rod in thine hand,
wherewith thou shalt do signs.
02-4:20 And
Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to
the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
02-4:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou
do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not
let the people go.
02-5:21 And
they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because ye have made
our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his
servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay
us.
02-6:1 Then
the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for
with a strong hand shall he let them go, and
with a strong hand shall he drive them out of
his land.
02-7:4 But
Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand
upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel,
out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
02-7:5 And
the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel
from among them.
02-7:15 Get
thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou
shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned
to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.
02-7:17 Thus
saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will
smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the
waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
02-7:19 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams,
upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water,
that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land
of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
02-8:5 And
the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers,
and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.
02-8:6 And
Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of
Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.
02-8:17 And
they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand
with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and
in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of
Egypt.
02-9:3 Behold,
the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is
in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen,
and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.
02-9:15 For
now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite
thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
02-9:22 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand
toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and
upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.
02-10:12 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of
Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail hath left.
02-10:21 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness
which may be felt.
02-10:22 And
Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven;
and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:
02-12:11 And
thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your
staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in
haste: it is the LORD’S passover.
02-13:3 And
Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt,
out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand
the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be
eaten.
02-13:9 And
it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand,
and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth:
for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought
thee out of Egypt.
02-13:14 And
it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this?
that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand
the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
02-13:16 And
it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for
frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand
the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
02-14:8 And
the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the
children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.
02-14:16 But
lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand
over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground
through the midst of the sea.
02-14:21 And
Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and
the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and
made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.
02-14:22 And
the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and
the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand,
and on their left.
02-14:26 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand
over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their
chariots, and upon their horsemen.
02-14:27 And
Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and
the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians
fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
02-14:29 But
the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the
waters were a wall unto them on their right hand,
and on their left.
02-14:30 Thus
the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand
of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
02-15:6 Thy
right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power:
thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces
the enemy.
02-15:9 The
enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust
shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand
shall destroy them.
02-15:12 Thou
stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth
swallowed them.
02-15:20 And
Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with
timbrels and with dances.
02-16:3 And
the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by
the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us
forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
02-17:5 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the
elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
02-17:9 And
Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to
morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
02-17:11 And
it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand,
that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand,
Amalek prevailed.
02-18:9 And
Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he
had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
02-18:10 And
Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from
under the hand of the Egyptians.
02-19:13 There
shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely
be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when
the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
02-21:13 And
if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand;
then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.
02-21:16 And
he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
02-21:20 And
if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
02-21:24 Eye
for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
02-22:4 If
the theft be certainly found in his hand alive,
whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.
02-22:8 If
the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the
judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto
his neighbour’s goods.
02-22:11 Then
shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour’s goods; and the owner of it
shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.
02-23:1 Thou
shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand
with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
02-23:31 And
I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines,
and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the
land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them
out before thee.
02-24:11 And
upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
02-25:25 And
thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand
breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof
round about.
02-29:20 Then
shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the
right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the
thumb of their right hand, and upon the great
toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
02-32:4 And
he received them at their hand, and fashioned it
with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These
be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-32:11 And
Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot
against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with
great power, and with a mighty hand?
02-32:15 And
Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony
were in his hand: the tables were written on
both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
02-33:22 And
it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a
clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand
while I pass by:
02-33:23 And
I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see
my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
02-34:4 And
he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in
the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and
took in his hand the two tables of stone.
02-34:29 And
it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of
testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from
the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked
with him.
02-35:29 The
children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman,
whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD
had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
02-38:15 And
for the other side of the court gate, on this hand
and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits;
their pillars three, and their sockets three.
02-38:21 This
is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was
counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites,
by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.
03-1:4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall
be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
03-3:2 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of his
offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and
Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
03-3:8 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering,
and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall
sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.
03-3:13 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and
kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall
sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.
03-4:4 And
he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation
before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the
bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
03-4:24 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat,
and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it
is a sin offering.
03-4:29 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering,
and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.
03-4:33 And
he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin
offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt
offering.
03-8:23 And
he slew it; and Moses took of the blood of it, and put it upon the tip of
Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot.
03-8:36 So
Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
03-9:22 And
Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and
blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt
offering, and peace offerings.
03-10:11 And
that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath
spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.
03-14:14 And
the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the
priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be
cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand,
and upon the great toe of his right foot:
03-14:15 And
the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his
own left hand:
03-14:16 And
the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger
seven times before the LORD:
03-14:17 And
of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall
the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and
upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the
great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:
03-14:18 And
the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand
he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall
make an atonement for him before the LORD.
03-14:25 And
he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some
of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear
of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
03-14:26 And
the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
03-14:27 And
the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his
left hand seven times before the LORD:
03-14:28 And
the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand
upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb
of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his
right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:
03-14:29 And
the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand
he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement
for him before the LORD.
03-14:32 This
is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his
cleansing.
03-16:21 And
Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over
him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions
in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him
away by the hand of a fit man into the
wilderness:
03-22:25 Neither
from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of
your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be
in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
03-25:14 And
if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
03-25:28 But
if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in
the hand of him that hath bought it until the
year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his
possession.
03-26:25 And
I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant:
and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the
pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
03-26:46 These
are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and
the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand
of Moses.
04-4:28 This is the service of the families of
the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge
shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of
Aaron the priest.
04-4:33 This
is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their
service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
04-4:37 These
were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might
do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did
number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand
of Moses.
04-4:45 These
be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses
and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-4:49 According
to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and
according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded
Moses.
04-5:18 And
the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head,
and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering:
and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter
water that causeth the curse:
04-5:25 Then
the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and
offer it upon the altar:
04-6:21 This
is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD
for his separation, beside that that his hand
shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of
his separation.
04-7:8 And
four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto
their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son
of Aaron the priest.
04-9:23 At
the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of
the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment
of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-10:13 And
they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-11:15 And
if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my
wretchedness.
04-11:23 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’S hand
waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or
not.
04-15:23 Even
all that the LORD hath commanded you by the hand
of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among
your generations;
04-16:40 To
be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of
the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not
as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.
04-20:11 And
Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he
smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation
drank, and their beasts also.
04-20:17 Let
us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields,
or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we
will go by the king’s high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy
borders.
04-20:20 And
he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much
people, and with a strong hand.
04-21:2 And
Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this
people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy
their cities.
04-21:26 For
Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against
the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
04-21:34 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt
do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at
Heshbon.
04-22:7 And
the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of
divination in their hand; and they came unto
Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.
04-22:23 And
the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in
his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the
way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the
way.
04-22:26 And
the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no
way to turn either to the right hand or to the
left.
04-22:29 And
Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a
sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
04-22:31 Then
the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing
in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and
he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.
04-25:7 And
when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose
up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
04-27:18 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the
spirit, and lay thine hand upon him;
04-27:23 And
he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the LORD commanded by the
hand of Moses.
04-31:6 And
Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the
son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the
trumpets to blow in his hand.
04-33:1 These
are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of
Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses
and Aaron.
04-33:3 And
they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the
first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out
with an high hand in the sight of all the
Egyptians.
04-35:18 Or
if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood,
wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely
be put to death.
04-35:21 Or
in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die:
he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the
revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.
04-35:25 And
the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand
of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of
his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the
high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.
04-36:13 These
are the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the
plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
05-1:27 And ye murmured in your tents, and
said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of
Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorites, to destroy us.
05-2:7 For
the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great
wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast
lacked nothing.
05-2:15 For
indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to
destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.
05-2:24 Rise
ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given
into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of
Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
05-2:27 Let
me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn
unto the right hand nor to the left.
05-2:30 But
Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God
hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him
into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
05-3:2 And
the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his
people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou
shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at
Heshbon.
05-3:8 And
we took at that time out of the hand of the two
kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of
Arnon unto mount Hermon;
05-3:24 O
Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth,
that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
05-4:34 Or
hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation,
by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great
terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before
your eyes?
05-5:15 And
remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God
brought thee out thence through a mighty hand
and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep
the sabbath day.
05-5:32 Ye
shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall
not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
05-6:8 And
thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand,
and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
05-6:21 Then
thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh’s bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD
brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
05-7:8 But
because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had
sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen,
from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
05-7:19 The
great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the
mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby
the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the
people of whom thou art afraid.
05-7:24 And
he shall deliver their kings into thine hand,
and thou shalt destroy their name from under heaven: there shall no man be able
to stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.
05-8:17 And
thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
05-9:26 I
prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people
and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which
thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
05-10:3 And
I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the
first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
05-11:2 And
know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and
which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his
mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,
05-11:18 Therefore
shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them
for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as
frontlets between your eyes.
05-12:6 And
thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your
tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and
your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of
your flocks:
05-12:7 And
there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that
ye put your hand unto, ye and your households,
wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
05-12:11 Then
there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name
to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt
offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the
LORD:
05-12:17 Thou
mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of
thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows
which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
05-13:9 But
thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be
first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand
of all the people.
05-13:17 And
there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand:
that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy,
and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy
fathers;
05-14:25 Then
shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy
God shall choose:
05-14:29 And
the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the
stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall
come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in
all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
05-15:3 Of
a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy
brother thine hand shall release;
05-15:7 If
there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in
thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart,
nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
05-15:8 But
thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and
shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
05-15:9 Beware
that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the
year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be
evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the
LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
05-15:10 Thou
shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest
unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all
thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand
unto.
05-15:11 For
the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying,
Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy
brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
05-16:10 And
thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a
freewill offering of thine hand, which thou
shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed
thee:
05-17:11 According
to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the
judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from
the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand,
nor to the left.
05-17:20 That
his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from
the commandment, to the right hand, or to the
left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his
children, in the midst of Israel.
05-19:5 As
when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the ax to cut down the
tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour,
that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:
05-19:12 Then
the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into
the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may
die.
05-19:21 And
thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for
tooth, hand for hand,
foot for foot.
05-23:20 Unto
a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not
lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest
thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to
possess it.
05-23:25 When
thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the
ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a
sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing corn.
05-24:1 When
a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no
favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him
write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand,
and send her out of his house.
05-24:3 And
if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth
it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his
house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
05-25:11 When
men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for
to deliver her husband out of the hand of him
that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand,
and taketh him by the secrets:
05-25:12 Then
thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not
pity her.
05-26:4 And
the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand,
and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.
05-26:8 And
the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand,
and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and
with wonders:
05-28:8 The
LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that
thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless
thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
05-28:12 The
LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto
thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou
shalt not borrow.
05-28:14 And
thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to
the right hand, or to the left, to go after
other gods to serve them.
05-28:20 The
LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou
settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be
destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy
doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
05-28:32 Thy
sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall
look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no
might in thine hand.
05-30:9 And
the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of
thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again
rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:
05-32:27 Were
it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should
behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the LORD hath not done all this.
05-32:35 To
me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for
the day of their calamity is at hand, and the
things that shall come upon them make haste.
05-32:39 See
now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make
alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
05-32:40 For
I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for
ever.
05-32:41 If
I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take
hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them
that hate me.
05-33:2 And
he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined
forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his
right hand went a fiery law for them.
05-33:3 Yea,
he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand:
and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
05-34:12 And
in all that mighty hand, and in all the great
terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
06-1:7 Only be thou strong and very
courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which
Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper
whithersoever thou goest.
06-2:19 And
it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the
street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever
shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
06-4:24 That
all the people of the earth might know the hand
of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.
06-5:13 And
it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and
looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in
his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said
unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
06-6:2 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.
06-7:7 And
Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people
over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the
other side Jordan!
06-8:1 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the
people of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and
his land:
06-8:7 Then
ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize upon the city: for the LORD your
God will deliver it into your hand.
06-8:18 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had
in his hand toward the city.
06-8:19 And
the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had
stretched out his hand: and they entered into
the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on fire.
06-8:26 For
Joshua drew not his hand back, wherewith he
stretched out the spear, until he had utterly destroyed all the inhabitants of
Ai.
06-9:25 And
now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth
good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.
06-9:26 And
so did he unto them, and delivered them out of the hand
of the children of Israel, that they slew them not.
06-10:6 And
the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy
hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly,
and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the
mountains are gathered together against us.
06-10:8 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.
06-10:19 And
stay ye not, but pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer
them not to enter into their cities: for the LORD your God hath delivered them
into your hand.
06-10:30 And
the LORD delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the
sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it; but did
unto the king thereof as he did unto the king of Jericho.
06-10:32 And
the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of
Israel, which took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the
sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done
to Libnah.
06-11:8 And
the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel,
who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and
unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them
none remaining.
06-14:2 By
lot was their inheritance, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes, and for the half tribe.
06-17:7 And
the coast of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethah, that lieth before Shechem;
and the border went along on the right hand unto
the inhabitants of Entappuah.
06-19:27 And
turneth toward the sunrising to Bethdagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the
valley of Jiphthahel toward the north side of Bethemek, and Neiel, and goeth
out to Cabul on the left hand,
06-20:2 Speak
to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge,
whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:
06-20:5 And
if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the
slayer up into his hand; because he smote his
neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime.
06-20:9 These
were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger
that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might
flee thither, and not die by the hand of the
avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.
06-21:2 And
they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, The LORD
commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities
to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
06-21:8 And
the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their
suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of
Moses.
06-21:44 And
the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their
fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD
delivered all their enemies into their hand.
06-22:9 And
the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh
returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in
the land of Canaan, to go unto the country of Gilead, to the land of their
possession, whereof they were possessed, according to the word of the LORD by
the hand of Moses.
06-22:31 And
Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to
the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that
the LORD is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass against the
LORD: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of the LORD.
06-23:6 Be
ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book
of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
06-24:8 And
I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side
Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I
destroyed them from before you.
06-24:10 But
I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered
you out of his hand.
06-24:11 And
ye went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against
you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites,
and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into
your hand.
07-1:2 And the LORD said, Judah shall go
up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.
07-1:4 And
Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into
their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten
thousand men.
07-1:35 But
the Amorites would dwell in mount Heres in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim: yet the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed, so that they
became tributaries.
07-2:15 Whithersoever
they went out, the hand of the LORD was against
them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and
they were greatly distressed.
07-2:16 Nevertheless
the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.
07-2:18 And
when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and
delivered them out of the hand of their enemies
all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings
by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.
07-2:23 Therefore
the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither
delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
07-3:4 And
they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the
commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
07-3:8 Therefore
the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the
children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.
07-3:10 And
the spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to
war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand
prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.
07-3:21 And
Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the
dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly:
07-3:28 And
he said unto them, Follow after me: for the LORD hath delivered your enemies
the Moabites into your hand. And they went down
after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and suffered not a man to
pass over.
07-3:30 So
Moab was subdued that day under the hand of
Israel. And the land had rest fourscore years.
07-4:2 And
the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king
of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which
dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
07-4:7 And
I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army,
with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
07-4:9 And
she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou
takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with
Barak to Kedesh.
07-4:14 And
Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath
delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the
LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten
thousand men after him.
07-4:21 Then
Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail
into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and
weary. So he died.
07-4:24 And
the hand of the children of Israel prospered,
and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin
king of Canaan.
07-5:26 She
put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; and with the hammer she
smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through
his temples.
07-6:1 And
the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD
delivered them into the hand of Midian seven
years.
07-6:2 And
the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and
because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are
in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
07-6:9 And
I delivered you out of the hand of the
Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that
oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;
07-6:14 And
the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save
Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not
I sent thee?
07-6:21 Then
the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes;
and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the
unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.
07-6:36 And
Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand,
as thou hast said,
07-6:37 Behold,
I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only,
and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save
Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.
07-7:2 And
the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to
give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me,
saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
07-7:6 And
the number of them that lapped, putting their hand
to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed
down upon their knees to drink water.
07-7:7 And
the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save
you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand:
and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
07-7:8 So
the people took victuals in their hand, and
their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and
retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the
valley.
07-7:9 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee
down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand.
07-7:14 And
his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the
son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand
hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.
07-7:15 And
it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation
thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said,
Arise; for the LORD hath delivered into your hand
the host of Midian.
07-7:16 And
he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in
every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps
within the pitchers.
07-8:6 And
the princes of Succoth said, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thine army?
07-8:7 And
Gideon said, Therefore when the LORD hath delivered Zebah and Zalmunna into
mine hand, then I will tear your flesh with the
thorns of the wilderness and with briers.
07-8:15 And
he came unto the men of Succoth, and said, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna with whom
ye did upbraid me, saying, Are the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thy men that are
weary?
07-8:22 Then
the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son,
and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian.
07-9:17 (For
my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of
the hand of Midian:
07-9:29 And
would to God this people were under my hand!
then would I remove Abimelech. And he said to Abimelech, Increase thine army,
and come out.
07-9:48 And
Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him;
and Abimelech took an ax in his hand, and cut
down a bough from the trees, and took it, and laid it on his shoulder, and said
unto the people that were with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, and do
as I have done.
07-10:12 The
Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye
cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.
07-11:21 And
the LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel
possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.
07-12:3 And
when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over
against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day,
to fight against me?
07-13:1 And
the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered
them into the hand of the Philistines forty
years.
07-13:5 For,
lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head:
for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to
deliver Israel out of the hand of the
Philistines.
07-14:6 And
the spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have
rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but
he told not his father or his mother what he had done.
07-15:12 And
they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee
into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson
said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.
07-15:13 And
they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee
into their hand: but surely we will not kill
thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.
07-15:15 And
he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand,
and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
07-15:17 And
it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the
jawbone out of his hand, and called that place
Ramathlehi.
07-15:18 And
he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this
great deliverance into the hand of thy servant:
and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand
of the uncircumcised?
07-16:18 And
when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for
the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me
all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought
money in their hand.
07-16:23 Then
the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great
sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath
delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.
07-16:26 And
Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand,
Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may
lean upon them.
07-16:29 And
Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on
which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand,
and of the other with his left.
07-17:3 And
when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother
said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten
image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
07-18:19 And
they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand
upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it
better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a
priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?
07-20:28 And
Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,)
saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my
brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for to morrow I will
deliver them into thine hand.
07-20:48 And
the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and smote them
with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every city, as the beast, and
all that came to hand: also they set on fire all
the cities that they came to.
08-1:13 Would ye tarry for them till they
were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for
it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand
of the LORD is gone out against me.
08-4:5 Then said Boaz, What day thou
buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must
buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name
of the dead upon his inheritance.
08-4:9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and
unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was
Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.
09-2:13 And the priests’ custom with the
people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest’s servant came,
while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand;
09-4:3 And
when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore
hath the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the ark of
the covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us,
it may save us out of the hand of our enemies.
09-4:8 Woe
unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of
these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the
plagues in the wilderness.
09-5:6 But
the hand of the LORD was heavy upon them of
Ashdod, and he destroyed them, and smote them with emerods, even Ashdod and the
coasts thereof.
09-5:7 And
when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of
Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is
sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
09-5:9 And
it was so, that, after they had carried it about, the hand
of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote
the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret
parts.
09-5:11 So
they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said,
Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go again to his own place,
that it slay us not, and our people: for there was a deadly destruction
throughout all the city; the hand of God was
very heavy there.
09-6:3 And
they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, send it not empty; but
in any wise return him a trespass offering: then ye shall be healed, and it
shall be known to you why his hand is not
removed from you.
09-6:5 Wherefore
ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the
land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will
lighten his hand from off you, and from off your
gods, and from off your land.
09-6:9 And
see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Bethshemesh, then he hath
done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us: it was a chance that happened to
us.
09-6:12 And
the kine took the straight way to the way of Bethshemesh, and went along the
highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left; and the lords of the Philistines
went after them unto the border of Bethshemesh.
09-7:3 And
Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the
LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from
among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he
will deliver you out of the hand of the
Philistines.
09-7:8 And
the children of Israel said to Samuel, Cease not to cry unto the LORD our God
for us, that he will save us out of the hand of
the Philistines.
09-7:13 So
the Philistines were subdued, and they came no more into the coast of Israel:
and the hand of the LORD was against the
Philistines all the days of Samuel.
09-9:8 And
the servant answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: that will
I give to the man of God, to tell us our way.
09-9:16 To
morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and
thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my
people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I
have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.
09-10:18 And
said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought
up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand
of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all
kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:
09-12:3 Behold,
here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose
ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have
I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received
any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.
09-12:4 And
they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou
taken ought of any man’s hand.
09-12:5 And
he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness
this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand.
And they answered, He is witness.
09-12:9 And
when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into
the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against
them.
09-12:10 And
they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken
the LORD, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee.
09-12:11 And
the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you
out of the hand of your enemies on every side,
and ye dwelled safe.
09-12:15 But
if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of
the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be
against you, as it was against your fathers.
09-13:22 So
it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear
found in the hand of any of the people that were
with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there
found.
09-14:10 But
if they say thus, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath
delivered them into our hand: and this shall be
a sign unto us.
09-14:12 And
the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come
up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said unto his
armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.
09-14:19 And
it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that was in
the host of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the
priest, Withdraw thine hand.
09-14:26 And
when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man
put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared
the oath.
09-14:27 But
Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore
he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand,
and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand
to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
09-14:37 And
Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou
deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he
answered him not that day.
09-14:43 Then
Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast done. And Jonathan told him, and
said, I did but taste a little honey with the end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die.
09-16:16 Let
our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man,
who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil
spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.
09-16:23 And
it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took
an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was
refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
09-17:22 And
David left his carriage in the hand of the
keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his
brethren.
09-17:37 David
said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out
of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand
of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
09-17:40 And
he took his staff in his hand, and chose him
five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he
had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand:
and he drew near to the Philistine.
09-17:46 This
day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand;
and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the
carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and
to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a
God in Israel.
09-17:49 And
David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a
stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone
sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
09-17:50 So
David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote
the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
09-17:57 And
as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him, and
brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand.
09-18:10 And
it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul,
and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in
Saul’s hand.
09-18:17 And
Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to
wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD’S battles. For Saul said,
Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
09-18:21 And
Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore
Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the
twain.
09-18:25 And
Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an
hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king’s enemies. But
Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of
the Philistines.
09-19:5 For
he did put his life in his hand, and slew the
Philistine, and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel: thou sawest
it, and didst rejoice: wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood, to
slay David without a cause?
09-19:9 And
the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his
javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.
09-20:16 So
Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the LORD even
require it at the hand of David’s enemies.
09-20:19 And
when thou hast stayed three days, then thou shalt go down quickly, and come to
the place where thou didst hide thyself when the business was in hand, and shalt remain by the stone Ezel.
09-21:3 Now
therefore what is under thine hand? give me five
loaves of bread in mine hand, or what there is
present.
09-21:4 And
the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men
have kept themselves at least from women.
09-21:8 And
David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my
sword nor my weapons with me, because the king’s business required haste.
09-22:6 When
Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul
abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)
09-22:17 And
the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests
of the LORD; because their hand also is with
David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the
servants of the king would not put forth their hand
to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
09-23:4 Then
David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said,
Arise, go down to Keilah: for I will deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
09-23:6 And
it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah,
that he came down with an ephod in his hand.
09-23:7 And
it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God hath
delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in,
by entering into a town that hath gates and bars.
09-23:11 Will
the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand?
will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I beseech
thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
09-23:12 Then
said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver
thee up.
09-23:14 And
David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in
the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him
not into his hand.
09-23:16 And
Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened
his hand in God.
09-23:17 And
he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul
my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall
be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
09-23:20 Now
therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down;
and our part shall be to deliver him into the king’s hand.
09-24:4 And
the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto
thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand,
that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose,
and cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe privily.
09-24:6 And
he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my
master, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand
against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.
09-24:10 Behold,
this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into
mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill
thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD’S anointed.
09-24:11 Moreover,
my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand:
for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and
see that there is neither evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou
huntest my soul to take it.
09-24:12 The
LORD judge between me and thee, and the LORD avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.
09-24:13 As
saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but
mine hand shall not be upon thee.
09-24:15 The
LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my
cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.
09-24:18 And
thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as
when the LORD had delivered me into thine hand,
thou killedst me not.
09-24:20 And
now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom
of Israel shall be established in thine hand.
09-25:8 Ask
thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour
in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh
to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son
David.
09-25:26 Now
therefore, my lord, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD
hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with
thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that
seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.
09-25:33 And
blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from
coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.
09-25:35 So
David received of her hand that which she had
brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have
hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person.
09-25:39 And
when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath
pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand
of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the
wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with
Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
09-26:8 Then
said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray
thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the
second time.
09-26:9 And
David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD’S anointed, and be guiltless?
09-26:11 The
LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand
against the LORD’S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou now the spear that is
at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.
09-26:18 And
he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I
done? or what evil is in mine hand?
09-26:23 The
LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness: for the LORD
delivered thee into my hand to day, but I would
not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD’S
anointed.
09-27:1 And
David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that
I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall
despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape
out of his hand.
09-28:17 And
the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the
kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy
neighbour, even to David:
09-28:19 Moreover
the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand
of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD
also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand
of the Philistines.
09-28:21 And
the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him,
Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou
spakest unto me.
09-30:23 Then
said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath
given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us
into our hand.
10-1:14 And David said unto him, How wast
thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to
destroy the LORD’S anointed?
10-2:19 And
Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.
10-2:21 And
Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand
or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his
armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
10-3:8 Then
was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog’s head,
which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy
father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into
the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day
with a fault concerning this woman?
10-3:12 And
Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying
also, Make thy league with me, and, behold, my hand
shall be with thee, to bring about all Israel unto thee.
10-3:18 Now
then do it: for the LORD hath spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel
out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of
the hand of all their enemies.
10-4:11 How
much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon
his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?
10-5:19 And
David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou
deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said
unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
10-6:6 And
when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the
oxen shook it.
10-8:1 And
after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them:
and David took Methegammah out of the hand of
the Philistines.
10-10:2 Then
said David, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father shewed
kindness unto me. And David sent to comfort him by the hand
of his servants for his father. And David’s servants came into the land of the
children of Ammon.
10-10:10 And
the rest of the people he delivered into the hand
of Abishai his brother, that he might put them in array against the children of
Ammon.
10-11:14 And
it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it
by the hand of Uriah.
10-12:7 And
Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I
anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
10-12:25 And
he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and
he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.
10-13:5 And
Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and
when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister
Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see
it, and eat it at her hand.
10-13:6 So
Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him,
Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a
couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.
10-13:10 And
Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine
hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had
made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.
10-13:19 And
Tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her garment of divers colours that was on
her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on
crying.
10-14:16 For
the king will hear, to deliver his handmaid out of the hand
of the man that would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of
God.
10-14:19 And
the king said, Is not the hand of Joab with thee
in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the
king, none can turn to the right hand or to the
left from ought that my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he
bade me, and he put all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
10-15:5 And
it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth
his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
10-16:6 And
he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people
and all the mighty men were on his right hand
and on his left.
10-16:8 The
LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead
thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken
in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
10-18:2 And
David sent forth a third part of the people under the hand
of Joab, and a third part under the hand of Abishai
the son of Zeruiah, Joab’s brother, and a third part under the hand of Ittai the Gittite. And the king said unto the
people, I will surely go forth with you myself also.
10-18:12 And
the man said unto Joab, Though I should receive a thousand shekels of silver in
mine hand, yet would I not put forth mine hand against the king’s son: for in our hearing the
king charged thee and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Beware that none touch the
young man Absalom.
10-18:14 Then
said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom,
while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak.
10-18:28 And
Ahimaaz called, and said unto the king, All is well. And he fell down to the earth
upon his face before the king, and said, Blessed be the LORD thy God, which
hath delivered up the men that lifted up their hand
against my lord the king.
10-19:9 And
all the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, The
king saved us out of the hand of our enemies,
and he delivered us out of the hand of the
Philistines; and now he is fled out of the land for Absalom.
10-20:9 And
Joab said to Amasa, Art thou in health, my brother? And Joab took Amasa by the
beard with the right hand to kiss him.
10-20:10 But
Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab’s hand:
so he smote him therewith in the fifth rib, and shed out his bowels to the
ground, and struck him not again; and he died. So Joab and Abishai his brother
pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri.
10-20:21 The
matter is not so: but a man of mount Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name,
hath lifted up his hand against the king, even
against David: deliver him only, and I will depart from the city. And the woman
said unto Joab, Behold, his head shall be thrown to thee over the wall.
10-21:20 And
there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on
every hand six fingers, and on every foot six
toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
10-21:22 These
four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand
of David, and by the hand of his servants.
10-22:1 And
David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had
delivered him out of the hand of all his
enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
10-23:10 He
arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand
was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword:
and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after
him only to spoil.
10-23:21 And
he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and
plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand,
and slew him with his own spear.
10-24:14 And
David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let
me not fall into the hand of man.
10-24:16 And
when the angel stretched out his hand upon
Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel
that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of
Araunah the Jebusite.
10-24:17 And
David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and
said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have
they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be
against me, and against my father’s house.
11-2:19 Bathsheba therefore went unto king
Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and
bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set
for the king’s mother; and she sat on his right hand.
11-2:25 And
king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son
of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him that he died.
11-2:46 So
the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; which went out, and fell upon
him, that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.
11-7:26 And
it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim
thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it
contained two thousand baths.
11-8:15 And
he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David
my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it,
saying,
11-8:24 Who
hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou
spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
11-8:42 (For
they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand,
and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;
11-8:53 For
thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine
inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of
Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
11-8:56 Blessed
be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that
he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he
promised by the hand of Moses his servant.
11-11:12 Notwithstanding
in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it
out of the hand of thy son.
11-11:26 And
Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon’s servant, whose
mother’s name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.
11-11:27 And
this was the cause that he lifted up his hand
against the king: Solomon built Millo, and repaired the breaches of the city of
David his father.
11-11:31 And
he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of
Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand
of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
11-11:34 Howbeit
I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand:
but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant’s
sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
11-11:35 But
I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand, and
will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
11-13:4 And
it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which
had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so
that he could not pull it in again to him.
11-13:6 And
the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the
LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may
be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored him again, and became as it was
before.
11-14:18 And
they buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of the
LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servant
Ahijah the prophet.
11-15:18 Then
Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the
house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house, and delivered them
into the hand of his servants: and king Asa sent
them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that
dwelt at Damascus, saying,
11-16:7 And
also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of
Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even
for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to
anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and
because he killed him.
11-17:11 And
as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray
thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
11-18:9 And
he said, What have I sinned, that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?
11-18:44 And
it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a
little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.
And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that
the rain stop thee not.
11-18:46 And
the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he
girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
11-20:6 Yet
I will send my servants unto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall
search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that
whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.
11-20:13 And,
behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the
LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into
thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I
am the LORD.
11-20:28 And
there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus
saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills,
but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great
multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know
that I am the LORD.
11-20:42 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction,
therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people.
11-22:3 And
the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is
ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand
of the king of Syria?
11-22:6 Then
the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and
said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear?
And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
11-22:12 And
all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for
the LORD shall deliver it into the king’s hand.
11-22:15 So
he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against
Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and
prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand
of the king.
11-22:19 And
he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on
his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
11-22:34 And
a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the
joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn
thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I
am wounded.
12-3:10 And the king of Israel said, Alas!
that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!
12-3:13 And
Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the
prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of
Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together,
to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
12-3:15 But
now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that
the hand of the LORD came upon him.
12-3:18 And
this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the
Moabites also into your hand.
12-4:29 Then
he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him
not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the
face of the child.
12-5:11 But
Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come
out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.
12-5:18 In
this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the
house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand,
and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of
Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.
12-5:24 And
when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand,
and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.
12-6:7 Therefore
said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand,
and took it.
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered
the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven,
might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes,
but shalt not eat thereof.
12-7:17 And
the king appointed the lord on whose hand he
leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the
gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came
down to him.
12-8:8 And
the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand,
and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the LORD by him, saying, Shall I
recover of this disease?
12-8:20 In
his days Edom revolted from under the hand of
Judah, and made a king over themselves.
12-8:22 Yet
Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah unto
this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time.
12-9:1 And
Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto
him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:
12-9:7 And
thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my
servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.
12-10:15 And
when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming
to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my
heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine
hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
12-11:8 And
ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be
slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.

the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand,
round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of
the temple, along by the altar and the temple.
12-12:15 Moreover
they reckoned not with the men, into whose hand
they delivered the money to be bestowed on workmen: for they dealt faithfully.
12-13:3 And
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into
the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all their days.
12-13:5 (And
the LORD gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt
in their tents, as beforetime.
12-13:16 And
he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand
upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon
the king’s hands.
12-13:25 And
Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand
of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did
Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
12-14:5 And
it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom was confirmed in his hand, that he slew his servants which had slain the
king his father.
12-14:25 He
restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the
plain, according to the word of the LORD God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai, the
prophet, which was of Gathhepher.
12-14:27 And
the LORD said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven:
but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son
of Joash.
12-15:19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against
the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
12-16:7 So
Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and
save me out of the hand of the king of Syria,
and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which
rise up against me.
12-17:7 For
so it was, that the children of
Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, which had brought them up out of
the land of Egypt, from under the hand of
Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
12-17:20 And
the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered
them into the hand of spoilers, until he had
cast them out of his sight.
12-17:39 But
the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.
12-18:21 Now,
behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
12-18:29 Thus
saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to
deliver you out of his hand:
12-18:30 Neither
let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver
us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand
of the king of Assyria.
12-18:33 Hath
any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
12-18:34 Where
are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad?
where are the gods of Sepharvaim,
Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?
12-18:35 Who
are they among all the gods of the
countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of
mine hand?
12-19:10 Thus
shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou
trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
12-19:14 And
Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the
messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the LORD, and
spread it before the LORD.
12-19:19 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that
thou art the LORD God, even thou only.
12-20:6 And
I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city
out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I
will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.
12-21:14 And
I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey
and a spoil to all their enemies;
12-22:2 And
he did that which was right in the
sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned
not aside to the right hand or to the left.
12-22:5 And
let them deliver it into the hand of the doers
of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them
give it to the doers of the work which is
in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,
12-22:7 Howbeit
there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into
their hand, because they dealt faithfully.
12-22:9 And
Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said,
Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have
delivered it into the hand of them that do the
work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.
12-23:8 And
he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high
places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake
down the high places of the gates that were
in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man’s left hand at the gate of the city.
12-23:13 And
the high places that were before
Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king
of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for
Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the
children of Ammon, did the king defile.
13-4:10 And
Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me
indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand
might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that
which he requested.
13-5:10 And
in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the
east land of Gilead.
13-5:20 And
they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were
with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of
them; because they put their trust in him.
13-6:15 And
Jehozadak went into captivity, when
the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand
of Nebuchadnezzar.
13-6:39 And
his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son
of Shimea,
13-6:44 And
their brethren the sons of Merari stood on
the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son
of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
13-11:23 And
he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature,
five cubits high; and in the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam; and he
went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and slew him with his own spear.
13-12:2 They were armed with bows, and could use
both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even
of Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
13-13:9 And
when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.
13-13:10 And
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he
put his hand to the ark: and there he died
before God.
13-14:10 And
David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt
thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD
said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.
13-14:11 So
they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God
hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand
like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place
Baalperazim.
13-16:7 Then
on that day David delivered first this
psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of
Asaph and his brethren.
13-18:1 Now
after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them,
and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of
the Philistines.
13-19:11 And
the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand
of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves
in array against the children of Ammon.
13-20:6 And
yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on
each hand, and six on each foot: and he also was the son of the giant.
13-20:8 These
were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand
of David, and by the hand of his servants.
13-21:13 And
David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
13-21:15 And
God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the
LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that
destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand.
And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
13-21:16 And
David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth
and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand
stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.
13-21:17 And
David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be
numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done?
let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be
on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they should be
plagued.
13-22:18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and
hath he not given you rest on every
side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and
before his people.
13-26:28 And
all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner,
and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and
whosoever had dedicated any thing, it
was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his
brethren.
13-28:19 All
this, said David, the LORD made me
understand in writing by his hand upon me, even
all the works of this pattern.
13-29:8 And
they with whom precious stones were
found gave them to the treasure of
the house of the LORD, by the hand of Jehiel the
Gershonite.
13-29:12 Both
riches and honour come of thee, and
thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to
make great, and to give strength unto all.
13-29:16 O
LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for
thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all
thine own.
14-3:17 And he reared up the pillars before
the temple, one on the right hand, and the other
on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand
Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand,
and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the
burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-4:7 And
he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
14-6:15 Thou
which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised
him; and spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
14-6:32 Moreover
concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a
far country for thy great name’s sake, and thy mighty hand,
and thy stretched out arm; if they come and pray in this house;
14-10:15 So
the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the LORD
might perform his word, which he spake by the hand
of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
14-12:5 Then
came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to
the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of
Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and
therefore have I also left you in the hand of
Shishak.
14-12:7 And
when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to
Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some
deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
14-13:8 And
now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there
are with you golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.
14-13:16 And
the children of Israel fled before Judah: and God delivered them into their hand.
14-16:7 And
at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him,
Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy
God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.
14-16:8 Were
not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and
horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into
thine hand.
14-17:5 Therefore
the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and
all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in
abundance.
14-18:5 Therefore
the king of Israel gathered together of prophets four hundred men, and said
unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they
said, Go up; for God will deliver it into
the king’s hand.
14-18:11 And
all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for
the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
14-18:14 And
when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to
Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper,
and they shall be delivered into your hand.
14-18:18 Again
he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his
throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his
left.
14-18:33 And
a certain man drew a bow at a
venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness:
therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand,
that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
14-20:6 And
said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not
thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou
over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand
is there not power and might, so that
none is able to withstand thee?
14-21:10 So
the Edomites revolted from under the hand of
Judah unto this day. The same time also did
Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he
had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.
14-23:7 And
the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in
his hand; and whosoever else cometh into the house, he shall be put to death: but be ye
with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out.
14-23:10 And
he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left
side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
14-23:18 Also
Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had
distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD,
as it is written in the law of Moses,
with rejoicing and with singing, as it
was ordained by David.
14-24:11 Now
it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office
by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw
that there was much money, the king’s
scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it,
and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money
in abundance.
14-24:24 For
the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and the LORD
delivered a very great host into their hand,
because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed
judgment against Joash.
14-25:15 Wherefore
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a
prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the
people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?
14-25:20 But
Amaziah would not hear; for it came of
God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought
after the gods of Edom.
14-26:11 Moreover
Uzziah had an host of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to
the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel
the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand
of Hananiah, one of the king’s
captains.
14-26:13 And
under their hand was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five
hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.
14-26:19 Then
Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in
his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth
with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests
in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.
14-28:5 Wherefore
the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of
the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of
them captives, and brought them to
Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand
of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter.
14-28:9 But
a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was
Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto
them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he
hath delivered them into your hand, and ye have
slain them in a rage that reacheth up
unto heaven.
14-30:6 So
the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all
Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye
children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,
and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
14-30:12 Also
in Judah the hand of God was to give them one
heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the
LORD.
14-30:16 And
they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the
man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of
the Levites.
14-31:13 And
Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and
Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of
Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and
Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
14-32:11 Doth
not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by
thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
14-32:13 Know
ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the
nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?
14-32:14 Who
was there among all the gods of those
nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of
mine hand, that your God should be able to
deliver you out of mine hand?
14-32:15 Now
therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner,
neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to
deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of
the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your
God deliver you out of mine hand?
14-32:17 He
wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak against him,
saying, As the gods of the nations of other
lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand,
so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.
14-32:22 Thus
the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other,
and guided them on every side.
14-33:8 Neither
will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have
appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have
commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances
by the hand of Moses.
14-34:2 And
he did that which was right in the
sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
14-34:9 And
when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was
brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had
gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim,
and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they
returned to Jerusalem.
14-34:10 And
they put it in the hand of the workmen that had the oversight of the
house of the LORD, and they gave it to the workmen that wrought in the house of
the LORD, to repair and amend the house:
14-34:17 And
they have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the LORD,
and have delivered it into the hand of the
overseers, and to the hand of the workmen.
14-35:6 So
kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the
LORD by the hand of Moses.
14-36:17 Therefore
he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with
the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man
or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.
15-1:8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia
bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the
treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
15-5:12 But
after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them
into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of
Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away
into Babylon.
15-6:12 And
the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people,
that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a
decree; let it be done with speed.
15-7:6 This
Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a
ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and
the king granted him all his request, according to the hand
of the LORD his God upon him.
15-7:9 For
upon the first day of the first month
began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.
15-7:14 Forasmuch
as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire
concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand;
15-7:25 And
thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates
and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and
teach ye them that know them not.
15-7:28 And
hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before
all the king’s mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go
up with me.
15-8:18 And
by the good hand of our God upon us they brought
us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of
Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
15-8:22 For
I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us
against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is
upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
15-8:26 I
even weighed unto their hand six hundred and
fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
15-8:31 Then
we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from
the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in
wait by the way.
15-8:33 Now
on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the
house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son
of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar
the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad
the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
15-9:2 For
they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that
the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the
princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.
15-9:7 Since
the days of our fathers have we been in a great trespass unto this day;
and for our iniquities have we, our kings, and
our priests, been delivered into the hand of
the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to
confusion of face, as it is this day.
16-1:10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy
great power, and by thy strong hand.
16-2:8 And
a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber
to make beams for the gates of the palace which appertained to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the
house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.
16-2:18 Then
I told them of the hand of my God which was good
upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said,
Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
16-4:17 They
which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought
in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.
16-6:5 Then
sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open
letter in his hand;
16-8:4 And
Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the
purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah,
and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand;
and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and
Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
16-9:14 And
madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts,
statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy
servant:
16-9:27 Therefore
thou deliveredst them into the hand of their
enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto
thee, thou heardest them from heaven;
and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them
out of the hand of their enemies.
16-9:28 But
after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou
them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had
the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou
heardest them from heaven; and many
times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies;
16-9:30 Yet
many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit
in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into
the hand of the people of the lands.
16-11:24 And
Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
16-12:31 Then
I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
17-2:21 In those days, while Mordecai sat in
the king’s gate, two of the king’s chamberlains, Bigthan and Teresh, of those
which kept the door, were wroth, and sought to lay hand
on the king Ahasuerus.
17-3:10 And
the king took his ring from his hand, and gave
it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy.
17-5:2 And
it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight:
and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew
near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
17-6:2 And
it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the
king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
17-6:9 And
let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand
of one of the king’s most noble princes, that they may array the man withal whom the king delighteth to
honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaim
before him, Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to
honour.
17-8:7 Then
the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold,
I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the
gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.
17-9:2 The
Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces
of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as
sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell
upon all people.
17-9:10 The
ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews, slew they; but
on the spoil laid they not their hand.
17-9:15 For
the Jews that were in Shushan
gathered themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and
slew three hundred men at Shushan; but on the prey they laid not their hand.
18-1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will
curse thee to thy face.
18-1:12 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the
LORD.
18-2:5 But
put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and
his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
18-2:6 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in
thine hand; but save his life.
18-2:10 But
he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What?
shall we receive good at the hand of God, and
shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
18-5:15 But
he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.
18-6:9 Even
that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!
18-6:23 Or,
Deliver me from the enemy’s hand? or, Redeem me
from the hand of the mighty?
18-9:24 The
earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he
covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
18-9:33 Neither
is there any daysman betwixt us, that might
lay his hand upon us both.
18-10:7 Thou
knowest that I am not wicked; and there
is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
18-11:14 If
iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in
thy tabernacles.
18-12:6 The
tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into
whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
18-12:9 Who
knoweth not in all these that the hand of the
LORD hath wrought this?
18-12:10 In
whose hand is
the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
18-13:14 Wherefore
do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
18-13:21 Withdraw
thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread
make me afraid.
18-15:23 He
wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where
is it? he knoweth that the day of
darkness is ready at his hand.
18-15:25 For
he stretcheth out his hand against God, and
strengtheneth himself against the Almighty.
18-19:21 Have
pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.
18-20:22 In
the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.
18-21:5 Mark
me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.
18-21:16 Lo,
their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
18-23:9 On
the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot
behold him: he hideth himself on the
right hand, that I cannot see him:
18-26:13 By
his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand
hath formed the crooked serpent.
18-27:11 I
will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
18-27:22 For
God shall cast upon him, and not
spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
18-28:9 He
putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he
overturneth the mountains by the roots.
18-29:9 The
princes refrained talking, and laid their
hand on their mouth.
18-29:20 My
glory was fresh in me, and my bow was
renewed in my hand.
18-30:12 Upon
my right hand rise the youth; they push away
my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
18-30:21 Thou
art become cruel to me: with thy strong hand
thou opposest thyself against me.
18-30:24 Howbeit
he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
18-31:21 If
I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless,
when I saw my help in the gate:
18-31:25 If
I rejoiced because my wealth was great,
and because mine hand had gotten much;
18-31:27 And
my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
18-33:7 Behold,
my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand
be heavy upon thee.
18-34:20 In
a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass
away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.
18-35:7 If
thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
18-37:7 He
sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men
may know his work.
18-40:4 Behold,
I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand
upon my mouth.
18-40:14 Then
will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand
can save thee.
18-41:8 Lay
thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no
more.
19-10:12 Arise,
O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not
the humble.
19-10:14 Thou
hast seen it: for thou beholdest
mischief and spite, to requite it with
thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee;
thou art the helper of the fatherless.
19-16:8 I
have set the LORD always before me: because he
is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
19-16:11 Thou
wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand
there are pleasures for evermore.
19-17:7 Shew
thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against
them.
19-17:14 From
men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest
with thy hid treasure: they are full
of children, and leave the rest of their substance
to their babes.
19-18:title To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the
LORD, who spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said,
19-18:35 Thou
hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made
me great.
19-20:6 Now
know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven
with the saving strength of his right hand.
19-21:8 Thine
hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right
hand shall find out those that hate thee.
19-26:10 In
whose hands is mischief, and their
right hand is full of bribes.
19-31:5 Into
thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast
redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
19-31:8 And
hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy:
thou hast set my feet in a large room.
19-31:15 My
times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand
of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
19-32:4 For
day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my
moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
19-36:11 Let
not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand
of the wicked remove me.
19-37:24 Though
he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
19-37:33 The
LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn
him when he is judged.
19-38:2 For
thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand
presseth me sore.
19-39:10 Remove
thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
19-44:2 How thou didst drive out the heathen
with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and
cast them out.
19-44:3 For
they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own
arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm,
and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
19-45:4 And
in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
19-45:9 Kings’
daughters were among thy honourable
women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen
in gold of Ophir.
19-48:10 According
to thy name, O God, so is thy praise
unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is
full of righteousness.
19-60:5 That
thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy
right hand, and hear me.
19-63:8 My
soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand
upholdeth me.
19-71:4 Deliver
me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out
of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
19-73:23 Nevertheless
I am continually with thee: thou hast
holden me by my right hand.
19-74:11 Why
withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out
of thy bosom.
19-75:8 For
in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he
poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth
shall wring them out, and drink them.
19-77:10 And
I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the
right hand of the most High.
19-77:20 Thou
leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of
Moses and Aaron.
19-78:42 They
remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
19-78:54 And
he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his
right hand had purchased.
19-78:61 And
delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy’s hand.
19-80:15 And
the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted,
and the branch that thou madest
strong for thyself.
19-80:17 Let
thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
19-81:14 I
should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand
against their adversaries.
19-82:4 Deliver
the poor and needy: rid them out of
the hand of the wicked.
19-88:5 Free
among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no
more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
19-89:13 Thou
hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
19-89:21 With
whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also
shall strengthen him.
19-89:25 I
will set his hand also in the sea, and his right
hand in the rivers.
19-89:42 Thou
hast set up the right hand of his adversaries;
thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
19-89:48 What
man is he that liveth, and shall not
see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand
of the grave? Selah.
19-91:7 A
thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it
shall not come nigh thee.
19-95:4 In
his hand are
the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
19-95:7 For
he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the
sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his
voice,
19-97:10 Ye
that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he
delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
19-98:1 O
sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
19-104:28 That thou givest them they gather: thou
openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
19-106:10 And
he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
19-106:26 Therefore
he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow
them in the wilderness:
19-106:41 And
he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and
they that hated them ruled over them.
19-106:42 Their
enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
19-107:2 Let
the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom
he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
19-108:6 That
thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy
right hand, and answer me.
19-109:6 Set
thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
19-109:27 That
they may know that this is thy hand; that thou,
LORD, hast done it.
19-109:31 For
he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to
save him from those that condemn his
soul.
19-110:1 The
LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,
until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
19-110:5 The
Lord at thy right hand shall strike through
kings in the day of his wrath.
19-118:15 The
voice of rejoicing and salvation is in
the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand
of the LORD doeth valiantly.
19-118:16 The
right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
19-119:109 My
soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
19-119:173 Let
thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy
precepts.
19-121:5 The
LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
19-123:2 Behold,
as the eyes of servants look unto the
hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand
of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon
the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
19-127:4 As
arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
19-129:7 Wherewith
the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that
bindeth sheaves his bosom.
19-136:12 With
a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for
his mercy endureth for ever.
19-137:5 If
I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand
forget her cunning.
19-138:7 Though
I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth
thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies,
and thy right hand shall save me.
19-139:5 Thou
hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand
upon me.
19-139:10 Even
there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
19-142:4 I
looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared
for my soul.
19-144:7 Send
thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me
out of great waters, from the hand of strange
children;
19-144:8 Whose
mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand
of falsehood.
19-144:11 Rid
me, and deliver me from the hand of strange
children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand
is a right hand
of falsehood:
19-145:16 Thou
openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of
every living thing.
19-149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their
mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;
20-1:24 Because I have called, and ye
refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no
man regarded;
20-3:16 Length
of days is in her right hand; and in
her left hand riches and honour.
20-3:27 Withhold
not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
20-4:27 Turn
not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy
foot from evil.
20-6:1 My
son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if
thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,
20-6:3 Do
this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure
thy friend.
20-6:5 Deliver
thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
20-10:4 He
becometh poor that dealeth with a
slack hand: but the hand
of the diligent maketh rich.
20-11:21 Though hand
join in hand,
the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be
delivered.
20-12:24 The
hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the
slothful shall be under tribute.
20-16:5 Every
one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand
join in hand,
he shall not be unpunished.
20-17:16 Wherefore
is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?
20-19:24 A
slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom,
and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
20-21:1 The
king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as
the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
20-26:6 He
that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool
cutteth off the feet, and drinketh
damage.
20-26:9 As a thorn goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, so is a parable in the mouth of fools.
20-26:15 The
slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth.
20-27:16 Whosoever
hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth
itself.
20-30:32 If
thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand
upon thy mouth.
20-31:20 She
stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she
reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21-2:24 There
is nothing better for a man, than that
he should eat and drink, and that he
should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand
of God.
21-5:14 But those riches perish by evil
travail: and he begetteth a son, and there
is nothing in his hand.
21-5:15 As he came forth of his mother’s
womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his
labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
21-7:18 It
is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw
not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall
come forth of them all.
21-9:1 For all this I considered in my
heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their
works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.
21-9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there
is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither
thou goest.
21-10:2 A wise man’s heart is at his right hand;
but a fool’s heart at his left.
21-11:6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in
the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou
knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.
22-2:6 His left
hand is under
my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
22-5:4 My
beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved
for him.
22-8:3 His left
hand should
be under my head, and his right hand should
embrace me.
23-1:12 When ye come to appear before me,
who hath required this at your hand, to tread my
courts?
23-1:25 And
I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge
away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:
23-3:6 When
a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our
ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:
23-5:25 Therefore
is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched
forth his hand against them, and hath smitten
them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is
not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
23-6:6 Then
flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he
had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
23-8:11 For
the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand,
and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
23-9:12 The
Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with
open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched
out still.
23-9:17 Therefore
the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on
their fatherless and widows: for every one is
an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this
his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
23-9:20 And
he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry;
and he shall eat on the left hand, and they
shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
23-9:21 Manasseh,
Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they
together shall be against Judah. For
all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand
is stretched out still.
23-10:4 Without
me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the
slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched
out still.
23-10:5 O
Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
23-10:10 As
my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols,
and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria:
23-10:13 For
he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done
it, and by my wisdom; for I am
prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their
treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
23-10:14 And
my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the
people: and as one gathereth eggs that
are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the
wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
23-10:32 As
yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of
the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
23-11:8 And
the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall
put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
23-11:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of
his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from
Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and
from the islands of the sea.
23-11:14 But
they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they
shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon
shall obey them.
23-11:15 And
the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his
mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the
river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
23-13:2 Lift
ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
23-13:6 Howl
ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall
come as a destruction from the Almighty.
23-14:26 This
is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
23-14:27 For
the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
23-19:4 And
the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of
a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD
of hosts.
23-19:16 In
that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear
because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD
of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
23-22:21 And
I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will
commit thy government into his hand: and he
shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
23-23:11 He
stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook
the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to
destroy the strong holds thereof.
23-25:10 For
in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD
rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down
for the dunghill.
23-26:11 LORD,
when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see:
but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire
of thine enemies shall devour them.
23-28:2 Behold,
the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a
destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to
the earth with the hand.
23-28:4 And
the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading
flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh
upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he
eateth it up.
23-30:21 And
thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in
it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye
turn to the left.
23-31:3 Now
the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit.
When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both
he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all
shall fail together.
23-34:17 And
he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath
divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation
to generation shall they dwell therein.
23-36:6 Lo,
thou trustest in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt; whereon if a man
lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it:
so is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all that trust in him.
23-36:15 Neither
let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver
us: this city shall not be delivered into the hand
of the king of Assyria.
23-36:18 Beware
lest Hezekiah persuade you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the
gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand
of the king of Assyria?
23-36:19 Where
are the gods of Hamath and Arphad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and have
they delivered Samaria out of my hand?
23-36:20 Who
are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out
of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem
out of my hand?
23-37:10 Thus
shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou
trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
23-37:14 And
Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of
the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD,
and spread it before the LORD.
23-37:20 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand,
that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou
only.
23-38:6 And
I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand
of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
23-40:2 Speak
ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished,
that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.
23-40:10 Behold,
the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his
arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
23-40:12 Who
hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a
measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
23-41:10 Fear
thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will
strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
23-41:13 For
I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
23-41:20 That
they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of
Israel hath created it.
23-42:6 I
the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant
of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
23-43:13 Yea,
before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
23-44:5 One
shall say, I am the Lord’s; and another shall call himself by the name of
Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand
unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
23-44:20 He
feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot
deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
23-45:1 Thus
saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand
I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of
kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be
shut;
23-47:6 I
was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into
thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon
the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
23-48:13 Mine
hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth,
and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when
I call unto them, they stand up together.
23-49:2 And
he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in
his quiver hath he hid me;
23-49:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand
to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy
sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
23-50:2 Wherefore,
when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have
I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers
a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for
thirst.
23-50:11 Behold,
all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in
the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye
have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
23-51:16 And
I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine
hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the
foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
23-51:17 Awake,
awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand
of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of
trembling, and wrung them out.
23-51:18 There
is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is
there any that taketh her by the hand of all the
sons that she hath brought up.
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people,
Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup
of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it
again:
23-51:23 But
I will put it into the hand of them that afflict
thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast
laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
23-53:10 Yet
it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt
make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his
days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
23-54:3 For
thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on
the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities
to be inhabited.
23-56:2 Blessed
is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that
keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand
from doing any evil.
23-57:10 Thou
art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope:
thou hast found the life of thine hand;
therefore thou wast not grieved.
23-59:1 Behold,
the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot
save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
23-62:3 Thou
shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of
the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy
God.
23-62:8 The
LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the
arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine
enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which
thou hast laboured:
23-63:12 That
led them by the right hand of Moses with his
glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting
name?
23-64:8 But
now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we
all are the work of thy hand.
23-66:2 For
all those things hath mine hand made, and all
those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to
him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
23-66:14 And
when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like
an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known
toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
24-1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me,
Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
24-6:9 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a
vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer
into the baskets.
24-6:12 And
their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together:
for I will stretch out my hand upon the
inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
24-11:21 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying,
Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:
24-12:7 I
have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly
beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
24-15:6 Thou
hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I
stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy
thee; I am weary with repenting.
24-15:17 I
sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of
thy hand: for thou hast filled me with
indignation.
24-15:21 And
I will deliver thee out of the hand of the
wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand
of the terrible.
24-16:21 Therefore,
behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is
The LORD.
24-18:4 And
the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand
of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter
to make it.
24-18:6 O
house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold,
as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye
in mine hand, O house of Israel.
24-20:4 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all
thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes
shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand
of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall
slay them with the sword.
24-20:5 Moreover
I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and
all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah
will I give into the hand of their enemies,
which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
24-20:13 Sing
unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor
from the hand of evildoers.
24-21:5 And
I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand
and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.
24-21:7 And
afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his
servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the
pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite
them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity,
nor have mercy.
24-21:10 For
I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the
LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the
king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
24-21:12 O
house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and
deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of
the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it,
because of the evil of your doings.
24-22:3 Thus
saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled
out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no
wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither
shed innocent blood in this place.
24-22:24 As
I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were
the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck
thee thence;
24-22:25 And
I will give thee into the hand of them that seek
thy life, and into the hand of them whose face
thou fearest, even into the hand of
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand
of the Chaldeans.
24-23:23 Am
I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God
afar off?
24-25:15 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my
hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send
thee, to drink it.
24-25:17 Then
took I the cup at the LORD’S hand, and made all
the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
24-25:28 And
it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand
to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall
certainly drink.
24-26:14 As
for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as
seemeth good and meet unto you.
24-26:24 Nevertheless
the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with
Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand
of the people to put him to death.
24-27:3 And
send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the
Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto
Zedekiah king of Judah;
24-27:6 And
now have I given all these lands into the hand
of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field
have I given him also to serve him.
24-27:8 And
it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the
same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under
the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD,
with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed
them by his hand.
24-29:3 By
the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and
Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,
24-29:21 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of
Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold,
I will deliver them into the hand of
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;
24-31:11 For
the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
24-31:32 Not
according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took
them by the hand to bring them out of the land
of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them,
saith the LORD:
24-32:3 For
Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy,
and say, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
24-32:4 And
Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand
of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him
mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes;
24-32:21 And
hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and
with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a
stretched out arm, and with great terror;
24-32:24 Behold
the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into
the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against
it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what
thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
24-32:25 And
thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the field for money, and take
witnesses; for the city is given into the hand
of the Chaldeans.
24-32:28 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall
take it:
24-32:36 And
now therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city,
whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand
of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
24-32:43 And
fields shall be bought in this land, whereof ye say, It is desolate without man
or beast; it is given into the hand of the
Chaldeans.
24-34:2 Thus
saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and
tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with
fire:
24-34:3 And
thou shalt not escape out of his hand, but shalt
surely be taken, and delivered into his hand;
and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak
with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
24-34:20 I
will even give them into the hand of their
enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their
life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and
to the beasts of the earth.
24-34:21 And
Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon’s army, which are gone up
from you.
24-36:14 Therefore
all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son
of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand
the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch
the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and
came unto them.
24-37:17 Then
Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in
his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There
is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand
of the king of Babylon.
24-38:3 Thus
saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon’s army, which shall take
it.
24-38:5 Then
Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand:
for the king is not he that can do any thing against you.
24-38:16 So
Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth,
that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee
into the hand of these men that seek thy life.
24-38:18 But
if thou wilt not go forth to the king of Babylon’s princes, then shall this
city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans,
and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand.
24-38:19 And
Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen
to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand,
and they mock me.
24-38:23 So
they shall bring out all thy wives and thy children to the Chaldeans: and thou
shalt not escape out of their hand, but shalt be
taken by the hand of the king of Babylon: and
thou shalt cause this city to be burned with fire.
24-39:17 But
I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given
into the hand of the men of whom thou art
afraid.
24-40:4 And
now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into
Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to
come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee:
whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
24-41:5 That
there came certain from Shechem, from Shiloh, and from Samaria, even fourscore men,
having their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut themselves,
with offerings and incense in their hand, to
bring them to the house of the LORD.
24-42:11 Be
not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him,
saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.
24-43:3 But
Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the
hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to
death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
24-43:9 Take
great stones in thine hand, and hide them in the
clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes,
in the sight of the men of Judah;
24-44:25 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both
spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand,
saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to
the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely
accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
24-44:30 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah
king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar
king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
24-46:24 The
daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.
24-46:26 And
I will deliver them into the hand of those that
seek their lives, and into the hand of
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand
of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old,
saith the LORD.
24-50:15 Shout
against her round about: she hath given her hand:
her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance
of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.
24-51:7 Babylon
hath been a golden cup in the LORD’S hand, that
made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the
nations are mad.
24-51:25 Behold,
I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all
the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon
thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.
25-1:7 Jerusalem remembered in the days of
her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the
days of old, when her people fell into the hand
of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at
her sabbaths.
25-1:10 The
adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her
pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary,
whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.
25-1:14 The
yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand:
they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall,
the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise
up.
25-2:3 He
hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his
right hand from before the enemy, and he burned
against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.
25-2:4 He
hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant
to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury
like fire.
25-2:7 The
Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up
into the hand of the enemy the walls of her
palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn
feast.
25-2:8 The
LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath
stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand
from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they
languished together.
25-3:3 Surely
against me is he turned; he turneth his hand
against me all the day.
25-5:6 We
have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the
Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
25-5:8 Servants
have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.
25-5:12 Princes
are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders
were not honoured.
26-1:3 The word of the LORD came expressly
unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the
river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there
upon him.
26-2:9 And
when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me;
and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
26-3:14 So
the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the
heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was
strong upon me.
26-3:18 When
I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning,
nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same
wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-3:20 Again,
When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and
I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given
him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done
shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-3:22 And
the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he
said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
26-6:11 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and
stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house
of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the
pestilence.
26-6:14 So
will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make
the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in
all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-8:1 And
it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the
month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
26-8:3 And
he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by
a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the
heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the
inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of
jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
26-8:11 And
there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and
in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his
censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense
went up.
26-9:1 He
cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge
over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
26-9:2 And,
behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the
north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand;
and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his
side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.
26-10:2 And
he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels,
even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with
coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And
he went in in my sight.
26-10:7 And
one cherub stretched forth his hand from between
the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof,
and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and
went out.
26-10:8 And
there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man’s hand
under their wings.
26-12:7 And
I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for
captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare
it upon my shoulder in their sight.
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and
they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days
are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
26-13:9 And
mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see
vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people,
neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither
shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord
GOD.
26-13:21 Your
kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-13:23 Therefore
ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my
people out of your hand: and ye shall know that
I am the LORD.
26-14:9 And
if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived
that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand
upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
26-14:13 Son
of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I
stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the
staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man
and beast from it:
26-16:27 Behold,
therefore I have stretched out my hand over
thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will
of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of
thy lewd way.
26-16:39 And
I will also give thee into their hand, and they
shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places:
they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and
leave thee naked and bare.
26-16:46 And
thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy
right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
26-16:49 Behold,
this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and
abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she
strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
26-17:18 Seeing
he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not
escape.
26-18:8 He
that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that
hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath
executed true judgment between man and man,
26-18:17 That
hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath
not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my
statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
26-20:5 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and
lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house
of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted
up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD
your God;
26-20:6 In
the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to
bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them,
flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands:
26-20:15 Yet
also I lifted up my hand unto them in the
wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them,
flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;
26-20:22 Nevertheless
I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name’s
sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose
sight I brought them forth.
26-20:23 I
lifted up mine hand unto them also in the
wilderness, that I would scatter them among the heathen, and disperse them
through the countries;
26-20:28 For
when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high
hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and
there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made
their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
26-20:33 As
I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand,
and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
26-20:34 And
I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries
wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand,
and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.
26-20:42 And
ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of
Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.
26-21:11 And
he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is
sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand
of the slayer.
26-21:16 Go
thee one way or other, either on the right hand,
or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.
26-21:22 At
his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem,
to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice
with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount,
and to build a fort.
26-21:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered,
in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your
sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be
taken with the hand.
26-21:31 And
I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the
fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand
of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.
26-22:13 Behold,
therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy
dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the
midst of thee.
26-23:9 Wherefore
I have delivered her into the hand of her
lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon
whom she doted.
26-23:28 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:
26-23:31 Thou
hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.
26-25:7 Behold,
therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon
thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off
from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will
destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
26-25:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand
upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate
from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
26-25:14 And
I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of
my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and
according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
26-25:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the
Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
26-27:15 The
men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory
and ebony.
26-28:9 Wilt
thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man,
and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth
thee.
26-28:10 Thou
shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand
of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-29:7 When
they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst
break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon thee, thou
brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
26-30:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
26-30:12 And
I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand
of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.
26-30:22 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will
break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the
sword to fall out of his hand.
26-30:24 And
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh’s arms, and he shall
groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
26-30:25 But
I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh
shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my
sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and
he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
26-31:11 I
have therefore delivered him into the hand of
the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him
out for his wickedness.
26-33:6 But
if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be
not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken
away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
26-33:8 When
I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not
speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his
iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-33:22 Now
the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening,
afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in
the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.
26-34:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my
flock at their hand, and cause them to cease
from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more;
for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for
them.
26-34:27 And
the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her
increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the
LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the
hand of those that served themselves of them.
26-35:3 And
say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee,
and I will stretch out mine hand against thee,
and I will make thee most desolate.
26-36:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand,
Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
26-36:8 But
ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your
fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand
to come.
26-37:1 The
hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out
in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was
full of bones,
26-37:17 And
join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph,
which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes
of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of
Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
26-37:20 And
the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand
before their eyes.
26-38:12 To
take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand
upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are
gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in
the midst of the land.
26-39:3 And
I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and
will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
26-39:21 And
I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my
judgment that I have executed, and my hand that
I have laid upon them.
26-39:23 And
the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their
iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from
them, and gave them into the hand of their
enemies: so fell they all by the sword.
26-40:1 In
the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in
the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was
smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the
LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.
26-40:3 And
he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like
the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand,
and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
26-40:5 And
behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit
and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth
of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
26-40:43 And
within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round
about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.
26-43:13 And
these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and
an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a
cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof
round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
26-44:12 Because
they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to
fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand
against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.
26-46:7 And
he shall prepare a meat offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a
ram, and for the lambs according as his hand
shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
26-47:3 And
when the man that had the line in his hand went
forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the
waters; the waters were to the ancles.
26-47:14 And
ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up
mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this
land shall fall unto you for inheritance.
27-1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of
Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of
the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his
god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.
27-2:38 And
wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of
the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath
made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
27-3:17 If
it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery
furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand,
O king.
27-4:35 And
all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according
to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and
none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What
doest thou?
27-5:5 In
the same hour came forth fingers of a man’s hand,
and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the
king’s palace: and the king saw the part of the hand
that wrote.
27-5:23 But
hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the
vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy
concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver,
and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know:
and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and
whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
27-5:24 Then
was the part of the hand sent from him; and this
writing was written.
27-7:25 And
he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints
of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given
into his hand until a time and times and the
dividing of time.
27-8:4 I
saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts
might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became
great.
27-8:7 And
I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and
smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to
stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and
there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
27-8:25 And
through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and
by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of
princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
27-9:15 And
now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of
Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee
renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
27-10:10 And,
behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my
knees and upon the palms of my hands.
27-11:11 And
the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and
fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great
multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
27-11:16 But
he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall
stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
27-11:41 He
shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be
overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand,
even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
27-11:42 He
shall stretch forth his hand also upon the
countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
27-12:7 And
I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when
he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for
ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have
accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be
finished.
28-2:10 And now will I discover her lewdness
in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.
28-7:5 In the day of our king the princes
have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
28-12:7 He is a merchant, the balances of
deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress.
29-1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the
LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the
Almighty shall it come.
29-2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and
sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land
tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
29-3:8 And I will sell your sons and your
daughters into the hand of the children of
Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the
LORD hath spoken it.
30-1:8 And I will cut off the inhabitant
from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn
mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the
Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
30-5:19 As if a man did flee from a lion,
and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
30-7:7 Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the
Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
30-9:2 Though they dig into hell, thence
shall mine hand take them; though they climb up
to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
32-4:11 And should not I spare Nineveh, that
great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern
between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
33-2:1 Woe to them that devise iniquity,
and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it,
because it is in the power of their hand.
33-4:10 Be in pain, and labour to bring
forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth
out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon;
there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
33-5:9 Thine hand
shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut
off.
33-5:12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out
of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more
soothsayers:
33-7:16 The nations shall see and be
confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand
upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
35-2:16 Thou art filled with shame for glory:
drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’S right
hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful
spewing shall be on thy glory.
35-3:4 And his brightness was as the light;
he had horns coming out of his hand: and there
was the hiding of his power.
36-1:4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of
Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name
of the Chemarims with the priests;
36-1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of
the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand:
for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
36-2:13 And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will
make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.
36-2:15 This is the rejoicing city that
dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me:
how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one
that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
38-2:1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and
looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
38-2:9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their
servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
38-3:1 And he shewed me Joshua the high
priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
38-4:10 For who hath despised the day of
small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes
of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
38-8:4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There
shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every
man with his staff in his hand for very age.
38-11:6 For I will no more pity the
inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every
one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and
out of their hand I will not deliver them.
38-12:6 In that day will I make the governors
of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a
sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited
again in her own place, even in
Jerusalem.
38-13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd,
and against the man that is my
fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be
scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the
little ones.
38-14:13 And it shall come to pass in that
day, that a great tumult from the
LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand
of his neighbour.
39-1:10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no
pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at
your hand.
39-1:13 Ye said also, Behold, what a
weariness is it! and ye have snuffed
at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an
offering: should I accept this of your hand?
saith the LORD.
39-2:13 And this have ye done again,
covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out,
insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
40-3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the
kingdom of heaven is at hand.
40-3:12 Whose
fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat
into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
40-4:17 From
that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven
is at hand.
40-5:30 And
if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and
cast it from thee: for it is
profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into
hell.
40-6:3 But
when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know
what thy right hand doeth:
40-8:3 And
Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean.
And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
40-8:15 And
he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and
she arose, and ministered unto them.
40-9:18 While
he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and
worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
40-9:25 But
when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
40-10:7 And
as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
40-12:10 And,
behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it
lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
40-12:13 Then
saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand.
And he stretched it forth; and it was
restored whole, like as the other.
40-12:49 And
he stretched forth his hand toward his
disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
40-14:31 And
immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of
little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
40-18:8 Wherefore
if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them
off, and cast them from thee: it is
better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands
or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
40-20:21 And
he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two
sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the
other on the left, in thy kingdom.
40-20:23 And
he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the
baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.
40-22:13 Then
said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and
foot, and take him away, and cast him into
outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
40-22:44 The
Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
40-25:33 And
he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but
the goats on the left.
40-25:34 Then
shall the King say unto them on his right hand,
Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world:
40-25:41 Then
shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart
from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his
angels:
40-26:18 And
he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My
time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy
house with my disciples.
40-26:23 And
he answered and said, He that dippeth his
hand with me in the dish, the same shall
betray me.
40-26:45 Then
cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of
sinners.
40-26:46 Rise,
let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth
betray me.
40-26:51 And,
behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and
struck a servant of the high priest’s, and smote off his ear.
40-26:64 Jesus
saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye
see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of
power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
40-27:29 And
when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand:
and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the
Jews!
40-27:38 Then
were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her
up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his
hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I
will; be thou clean.

he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a
withered hand.
41-3:3 And
he saith unto the man which had the withered hand,
Stand forth.
41-3:5 And
when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness
of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored
whole as the other.
41-5:41 And

41-8:23 And
he took the blind man by the hand, and led him
out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him,
he asked him if he saw ought.
41-9:27 But
Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up;
and he arose.
41-9:43 And
if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into
hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
41-10:37 They
said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
41-10:40 But
to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.
41-12:36 For
David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my
right hand, till I make thine enemies thy
footstool.

up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand.
41-14:62 And
Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.

sat on the right hand of God.
42-1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those
things which are most surely believed among us,
42-1:66 And
all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What
manner of child shall this be! And the hand of
the Lord was with him.
42-1:71 That
we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand
of all that hate us;
42-1:74 That
he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
42-3:17 Whose
fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the
wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
42-5:13 And
he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And
immediately the leprosy departed from him.
42-6:6 And
it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and
taught: and there was a man whose right hand was
withered.
42-6:8 But
he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he
arose and stood forth.
42-6:10 And
looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand
was restored whole as the other.
42-8:54 And
he put them all out, and took her by the hand,
and called, saying, Maid, arise.
42-9:62 And
Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand
to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
42-15:22 But
the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his
feet:
42-20:42 And
David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou
on my right hand,
42-21:30 When
they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now
nigh at hand.
42-21:31 So
likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of
God is nigh at hand.
42-22:21 But,
behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
42-22:69 Hereafter
shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of
the power of God.
42-23:33 And
when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified
him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand,
and the other on the left.
43-2:13 And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
43-3:35 The
Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
43-7:2 Now
the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.
43-10:28 And
I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
43-10:29 My
Father, which gave them me, is
greater than all; and no man is able
to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
43-10:39 Therefore
they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
43-11:44 And
he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot
with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto
them, Loose him, and let him go.
43-11:55 And
the Jews’ passover was nigh at hand: and many
went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify
themselves.
43-18:22 And
when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with
the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the
high priest so?
43-19:42 There
laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
43-20:25 The
other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said
unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my
finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand
into his side, I will not believe.
43-20:27 Then
saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach
hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
44-2:25 For David speaketh concerning him, I
foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
44-2:33 Therefore
being by the right hand of God exalted, and
having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth
this, which ye now see and hear.
44-2:34 For
David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said
unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
44-3:7 And
he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and
ancle bones received strength.
44-4:28 For
to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel
determined before to be done.
44-4:30 By
stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that
signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
44-5:31 Him
hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to
give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

44-7:35 This
Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same
did God send to be a ruler and a
deliverer by the hand of the angel which
appeared to him in the bush.
44-7:50 Hath
not my hand made all these things?
44-7:55 But
he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the

of God,
44-7:56 And
said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the
right hand of God.

44-12:17 But

their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison.

departed, and went into another place.
44-13:11 And

when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great

when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.

himself:

on his hand.
44-28:4 And
when the barbarians saw the venomous beast
hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No
doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet
vengeance suffereth not to live.
45-8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ
that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
45-13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at
hand: let us therefore cast off the works of
darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
46-12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am
not the hand, I am not of the body; is it
therefore not of the body?
46-12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to
the feet, I have no need of you.
46-16:21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
47-6:7 By the word of truth, by the power
of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand
and on the left,
47-9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to
exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up before hand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that
the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty,
and not as of covetousness.
47-10:16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man’s line of things made ready to our hand.
48-3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the
seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand
of a mediator.
48-6:11 Ye see how large a letter I have
written unto you with mine own hand.
49-1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he
raised him from the dead, and set him at
his own right hand in the heavenly places,

all men. The Lord is at hand.

seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

that the day of Christ is at hand.
53-3:17 The salutation of Paul with mine own
hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I
write.
55-4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and
the time of my departure is at hand.
57-1:19 I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit
I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
58-1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his
person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand
of the Majesty on high;
58-1:13 But to which of the angels said he
at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make
thine enemies thy footstool?
58-8:1 Now of the things which we have
spoken this is the sum: We have such
an high priest, who is set on the right hand of
the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because

the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in
due time:

and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

sword: and his countenance was as the
sun shineth in his strength.

feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon
me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven
golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and
the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
66-10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon
the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to
heaven,
66-10:8 And the voice which I heard from
heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and
take the little book which is open in the hand
of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
66-10:10 And I took the little book out of the
angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my
mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or
