01-3:11 And he
said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast
thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
01-3:13 And the
LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast
done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
01-3:14 And the
LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast
done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the
field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of
thy life:
01-3:17 And unto
Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto
the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the
tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is
the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy
life;
01-4:10 And he
said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy
brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
01-4:14 Behold,
thou hast driven me out this day from the face
of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a
vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth
me shall slay me.
01-12:18 And
Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast
done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?
01-15:3 And Abram
said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed:
and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
01-18:5 And I
will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall
pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as
thou hast said.
01-19:12 And the
men said unto
01-19:19 Behold
now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot
escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:
01-19:21 And he
said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I
will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast
spoken.
01-20:3 But God
came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a
dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken;
for she is a man’s wife.
01-20:9 Then
Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast
thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou
hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be
done.
01-20:10 And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?
01-21:23 Now
therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me,
nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I
have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.
01-21:29 And
Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?
01-22:12 And he
said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for
now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast
not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
01-22:16 And said,
By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast
not withheld thy son, thine only son:
01-22:18 And in thy
seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
01-24:14 And let it
come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray
thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels
drink also: let the same be she that thou hast
appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
01-26:10 And
Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto
us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest
have brought guiltiness upon us.
01-27:20 And Isaac
said unto his son, How is it that thou hast
found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it
to me.
01-27:36 And he
said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times:
he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing.
And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing
for me?
01-27:38 And Esau
said unto his father, Hast thou but one
blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up
his voice, and wept.
01-27:45 Until thy
brother’s anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee
from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?
01-29:25 And it
came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban,
What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I
serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast
thou beguiled me?
01-30:15 And she
said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast
taken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son’s mandrakes also? And
Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son’s mandrakes.
01-31:26 And Laban
said to Jacob, What hast thou done, that thou hast stolen away unawares to me, and carried away my
daughters, as captives taken with the sword?
01-31:28 And hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters?
thou hast now done foolishly in so doing.
01-31:30 And now,
though thou wouldest needs be gone, because thou sore longedst after thy
father’s house, yet wherefore hast thou stolen
my gods?
01-31:36 And Jacob
was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is
my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so
hotly pursued after me?
01-31:37 Whereas
thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? set it
here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.
01-31:41 Thus have
I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two
daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast
changed my wages ten times.
01-32:10 I am not
worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I
passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.
01-32:28 And he
said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
01-33:9 And Esau
said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast
unto thyself.
01-37:10 And he
told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and
said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast
dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down
ourselves to thee to the earth?
01-38:23 And Judah
said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and
thou hast not found her.
01-38:29 And it
came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and
she said, How hast thou broken forth? this
breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
01-39:17 And she
spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou
hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock
me:
01-45:10 And thou
shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and
thy children, and thy children’s children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and
all that thou hast:
01-45:11 And there
will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy
household, and all that thou hast, come to
poverty.
01-47:25 And they
said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find
grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.
01-47:30 But I will
lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their
buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast
said.
02-3:12 And
he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee,
that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought
forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
02-4:10 And
Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor
since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I
am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
02-5:22 And
Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Lord, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?
02-5:23 For
since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people;
neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.
02-9:19 Send
therefore now, and gather thy cattle, and all that thou hast in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be
found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down
upon them, and they shall die.
02-10:29 And
Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see
thy face again no more.
02-12:44 But
every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
02-13:12 That
thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every
firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast;
the males shall be the LORD’S.
02-14:11 And
they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness?
wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry
us forth out of Egypt?
02-15:7 And
in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast
overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which
consumed them as stubble.
02-15:13 Thou
in thy mercy hast led forth the people which
thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.
02-15:16 Fear
and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as
still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over,
which thou hast purchased.
02-15:17 Thou
shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in
the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee
to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.
02-17:3 And
the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and
said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought
us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
02-20:25 And
if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone:
for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast
polluted it.
02-23:16 And
the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering,
which is in the end of the year, when thou hast
gathered in thy labours out of the field.
02-29:36 And
thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou
shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an
atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
02-32:11 And
Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot
against thy people, which thou hast brought
forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
02-32:21 And
Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
02-32:32 Yet
now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of
thy book which thou hast written.
02-33:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which
thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt,
unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto
thy seed will I give it:
02-33:12 And
Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and
thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send
with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by
name, and thou hast also found grace in my
sight.
02-33:17 And
the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast
found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
04-5:19 And
the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have
lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside
to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this
bitter water that causeth the curse:
04-5:20 But
if thou hast gone aside to another instead of
thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside
thine husband:
04-11:11 And
Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore hast thou
afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that
thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?
04-11:21 And
Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and
thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that
they may eat a whole month.
04-14:17 And
now, I beseech thee, let the power of my LORD be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
04-14:19 Pardon,
I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy
mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people,
from Egypt even until now.
04-16:13 Is
it a small thing that thou hast brought us up
out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness,
except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
04-16:14 Moreover
thou hast not brought us into a land that
floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards:
wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
04-22:28 And
the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I
done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these
three times?
04-22:29 And
Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast
mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
04-22:30 And
the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was
I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
04-22:32 And
the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast
thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee,
because thy way is perverse before me:
04-23:11 And
Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto
me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
04-24:10 And
Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and
Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.
04-27:13 And
when thou hast seen it, thou also shalt be gathered
unto thy people, as Aaron thy brother was gathered.
05-1:14 And
ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast
spoken is good for us to do.
05-1:31 And
in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that
the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye
went, until ye came into this place.
05-2:7 For
the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy
walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath
been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
05-3:24 O
Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant
thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in
earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
05-4:33 Did
ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as
thou hast heard, and live?
05-8:10 When
thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt
bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.
05-8:12 Lest
when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
05-8:13 And
when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is
multiplied, and all that thou hast is
multiplied;
05-9:2 A
people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of
whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before
the children of Anak!
05-9:12 And
the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people
which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have
corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I
commanded them; they have made them a molten image.
05-9:26 I
prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people
and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed
through thy greatness, which thou hast brought
forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
05-12:26 Only
thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows,
thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose.
05-13:2 And
the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us
go after other gods, which thou hast not known,
and let us serve them;
05-13:6 If
thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of
thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly,
saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast
not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
05-16:13 Thou
shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
05-17:4 And
it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and
enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such
abomination is wrought in Israel:
05-21:8 Be
merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast
redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And
the blood shall be forgiven them.
05-21:10 When
thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath
delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast
taken them captive,
05-21:11 And
seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast
a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife;
05-21:14 And
it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither
she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not make
merchandise of her, because thou hast humbled
her.
05-22:3 In
like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment;
and with all lost thing of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not
hide thyself.
05-22:9 Thou
shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which
thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard,
be defiled.
05-23:23 That
which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill
offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the
LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy
mouth.
05-24:19 When
thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast
forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be
for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God
may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
05-26:10 And
now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD
thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
05-26:12 When
thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes
of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the
fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
05-26:13 Then
thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things
out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the
stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy
commandments which thou hast commanded me: I
have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:
05-26:14 I
have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof
for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened
to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
05-26:15 Look
down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and
the land which thou hast given us, as thou
swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
05-26:17 Thou
hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God,
and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and
his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
05-28:20 The
LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou
settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou
perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
05-32:18 Of
the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast
forgotten God that formed thee.
06-2:17 And
the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.
06-2:20 And
if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.
06-7:7 And
Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast
thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the
other side Jordan!
06-7:19 And
Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of
Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.
06-7:25 And
Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD
shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them
with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
06-14:9 And
Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden
shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.
06-15:19 Who
answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast
given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper
springs, and the nether springs.
06-17:14 And
the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast
thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great
people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?
06-17:17 And
Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying,
Thou art a great people, and hast great power:
thou shalt not have one lot only:
07-1:15 And
she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast
given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the
upper springs and the nether springs.
07-5:21 The
river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my
soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
07-6:36 And
Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,
07-6:37 Behold,
I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only,
and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save
Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.
07-8:1 And
the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou
served us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the
Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply.
07-8:22 Then
the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son,
and thy son’s son also: for thou hast delivered
us from the hand of Midian.
07-9:38 Then
said Zebul unto him, Where is now thy mouth, wherewith thou saidst, Who is
Abimelech, that we should serve him? is not this the people that thou hast despised? go out, I pray now, and fight with
them.
07-11:12 And
Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me
to fight in my land?
07-11:35 And
it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my
daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and
thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD,
and I cannot go back.
07-11:36 And
she said unto him, My father, if thou hast
opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded
out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine
enemies, even of the children of Ammon.
07-14:16 And
Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me
not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the
children of my people, and hast not told it me.
And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and
shall I tell it thee?
07-15:11 Then
three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to
Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this
that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto
them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.
07-15:18 And
he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy
servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the
uncircumcised?
07-16:10 And
Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou hast
mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest
be bound.
07-16:13 And
Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou hast
mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he
said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web.
07-16:15 And
she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not
with me? thou hast mocked me these three times,
and hast not told me wherein thy great strength
lieth.
07-18:3 When
they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the
Levite: and they turned in thither, and said unto him, Who brought thee hither?
and what makest thou in this place? and what hast
thou here?
08-2:11 And
Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of
thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father
and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which
thou knewest not heretofore.
08-2:13 Then
she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be
not like unto one of thine handmaidens.
08-2:19 And
her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou
gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take
knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought,
and said, The man’s name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.
08-3:10 And
he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at
the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
08-3:15 Also
he said, Bring the vail that thou hast upon
thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six measures of barley,
and laid it on her: and she went into the city.
09-1:17 Then
Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy
petition that thou hast asked of him.
09-4:20 And
about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear
not; for thou hast borne a son. But she answered
not, neither did she regard it.
09-12:4 And
they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor
oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of
any man’s hand.
09-13:11 And
Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said,
Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not
within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves
together at Michmash;
09-13:13 And
Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly:
thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD
thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy
kingdom upon Israel for ever.
09-13:14 But
now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his
own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people,
because thou hast not kept that which the LORD
commanded thee.
09-14:43 Then
Saul said to Jonathan, Tell me what thou hast
done. And Jonathan told him, and said, I did but taste a little honey with the
end of the rod that was in mine hand, and, lo, I must die.
09-15:23 For
rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and
idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of
the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
09-15:26 And
Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath
rejected thee from being king over Israel.
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger
was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with
whom hast thou left those few sheep in the
wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art
come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-17:45 Then
said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear,
and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God
of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
09-19:17 And
Saul said unto Michal, Why hast thou deceived me
so, and sent away mine enemy, that he is escaped? And Michal answered Saul, He
said unto me, Let me go; why should I kill thee?
09-20:8 Therefore
thou shalt deal kindly with thy servant; for thou hast
brought thy servant into a covenant of the LORD with thee: notwithstanding, if
there be in me iniquity, slay me thyself; for why shouldest thou bring me to
thy father?
09-20:19 And
when thou hast stayed three days, then thou
shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself when
the business was in hand, and shalt remain by the stone Ezel.
09-20:30 Then
Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of
the perverse rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast
chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy
mother’s nakedness?
09-22:13 And
Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of
Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a
sword, and hast enquired of God for him, that he
should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
09-24:17 And
he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded thee
evil.
09-24:18 And
thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD
had delivered me into thine hand, thou killedst me not.
09-24:19 For
if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD
reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me
this day.
09-25:6 And
thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and
peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.
09-25:7 And
now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now
thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought
missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
09-25:31 That
this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either
that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my
lord hath avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my
lord, then remember thine handmaid.
09-25:33 And
blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast
kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine
own hand.
09-26:15 And
David said to Abner, Art not thou a valiant man? and who is like to thee in
Israel? wherefore then hast thou not kept thy
lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king thy
lord.
09-26:16 This
thing is not good that thou hast done. As the
LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not kept your master, the
LORD’S anointed. And now see where the king’s spear is, and the cruse of water
that was at his bolster.
09-28:12 And
when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to
Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for
thou art Saul.
09-28:15 And
Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted
me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the
Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me
no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that
thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-29:4 And
the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the
Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his
place which thou hast appointed him, and let him
not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for
wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with
the heads of these men?
09-29:6 Then
Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in
with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee
since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords
favour thee not.
09-29:8 And
David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast
thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that
I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
10-1:26 I
am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful,
passing the love of women.
10-3:7 And
Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah: and
Ishbosheth said to Abner, Wherefore hast thou
gone in unto my father’s concubine?
10-3:24 Then
Joab came to the king, and said, What hast thou
done? behold, Abner came unto thee; why is it that thou hast sent him away, and he is quite gone?
10-6:22 And
I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of
the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of
them shall I be had in honour.
10-7:18 Then
went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD?
and what is my house, that thou hast brought me
hitherto?
10-7:19 And
this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great
while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?
10-7:21 For
thy word’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast
thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them.
10-7:24 For
thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel
to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God.
10-7:25 And
now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken
concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do
as thou hast said.
10-7:27 For
thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast
revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy
servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.
10-7:28 And
now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
10-7:29 Therefore
now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue
for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast
spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for
ever.
10-11:19 And
charged the messenger, saying, When thou hast
made an end of telling the matters of the war unto the king,
10-12:9 Wherefore
hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD,
to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah
the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his
wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the
sword of the children of Ammon.
10-12:10 Now
therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast
taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
10-12:14 Howbeit,
because by this deed thou hast given great
occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born
unto thee shall surely die.
10-12:21 Then
said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child,
while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
10-14:13 And
the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought
such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as
one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
10-15:35 And
hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar
the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out
of the king’s house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.
10-16:8 The
LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead
thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered
the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in
thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
10-16:10 And
the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him
curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say,
Wherefore hast thou done so?
10-18:21 Then
said Joab to Cushi, Go tell the king what thou hast
seen. And Cushi bowed himself unto Joab, and ran.
10-18:22 Then
said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok yet again to Joab, But howsoever, let me, I pray
thee, also run after Cushi. And Joab said, Wherefore wilt thou run, my son,
seeing that thou hast no tidings ready?
10-19:5 And
Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast
shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy
life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy
wives, and the lives of thy concubines;
10-19:6 In
that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither
princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and
all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.
10-22:36 Thou
hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
10-22:37 Thou
hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet
did not slip.
10-22:40 For
thou hast girded me with strength to battle:
them that rose up against me hast thou subdued
under me.
10-22:41 Thou
hast also given me the necks of mine enemies,
that I might destroy them that hate me.
10-22:44 Thou
also hast delivered me from the strivings of my
people, thou hast kept me to be head of the
heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
10-22:49 And
that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast
lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
11-1:6 And
his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? and he also was a very goodly man;
and his mother bare him after Absalom.
11-1:11 Wherefore
Nathan spake unto Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith
doth reign, and David our lord knoweth it not?
11-1:24 And
Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said,
Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?
11-1:27 Is
this thing done by my lord the king, and thou hast
not shewed it unto thy servant, who should sit on the throne of my lord the
king after him?
11-2:8 And,
behold, thou hast with thee Shimei the son of
Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day
when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I sware to
him by the LORD, saying, I will not put thee to death with the sword.
11-2:26 And
unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own
fields; for thou art worthy of death: but I will not at this time put thee to
death, because thou barest the ark of the Lord GOD before David my father, and
because thou hast been afflicted in all wherein
my father was afflicted.
11-2:43 Why
then hast thou not kept the oath of the LORD,
and the commandment that I have charged thee with?
11-3:6 And
Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant
David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and
in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is
this day.
11-3:7 And
now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant
king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to
go out or come in.
11-3:8 And
thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast
chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
11-3:11 And
God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this
thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life;
neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern
judgment;
11-3:13 And
I have also given thee that which thou hast not
asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings
like unto thee all thy days.
11-8:24 Who
hast kept with thy servant David my father that
thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
11-8:25 Therefore
now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou
promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on
the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they
walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
11-8:29 That
thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place
of which thou hast said, My name shall be there:
that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward
this place.
11-8:36 Then
hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people
Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give
rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy
people for an inheritance.
11-8:44 If
thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send
them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built
for thy name:
11-8:48 And
so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land
of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their
land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy
name:
11-9:3 And
the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou
hast made before me: I have hallowed this house,
which thou hast built, to put my name there for
ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
11-9:13 And
he said, What cities are these which thou hast
given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.
11-11:11 Wherefore
the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I
have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it
to thy servant.
11-11:22 Then
Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked
with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he
answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.
11-13:21 And
he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD,
Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the
LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which
the LORD thy God commanded thee,
11-13:22 But
camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk
water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and
drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
11-14:8 And
rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my
commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was
right in mine eyes;
11-14:9 But
hast done evil above all that were before thee:
for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and
molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast
cast me behind thy back:
11-16:2 Forasmuch
as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel;
and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and
hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me
to anger with their sins;
11-17:13 And
Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast
said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after
make for thee and for thy son.
11-17:20 And
he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast
thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
11-18:18 And
he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in
that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.
11-18:37 Hear
me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and
that thou hast turned their heart back again.
11-20:13 And,
behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the
LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude?
behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I
am the LORD.
11-20:25 And
number thee an army, like the army that thou hast
lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we will fight against them
in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. And he hearkened unto
their voice, and did so.
11-20:36 Then
said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed
the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion
shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and
slew him.
11-20:40 And
as thy servant was busy here and there, he was gone. And the king of Israel
said unto him, So shall thy judgment be; thyself hast
decided it.
11-20:42 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast
let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore
thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people.
11-21:19 And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak
unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood
of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.
11-21:20 And
Ahab said to Elijah, hast thou found me, O mine
enemy? And he answered, I have found thee; because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.
11-21:22 And
will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the
house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.
12-1:16 And
he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god
of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word?
therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but
shalt surely die.
12-2:10 And
he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing:
nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto
thee; but if not, it shall not be so.
12-4:2 And
Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid
hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
12-4:13 And
he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast
been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest
thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she
answered, I dwell among mine own people.
12-5:8 And
it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had
rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me,
and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
12-6:22 And
he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow?
set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their
master.
12-9:18 So
there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it
peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with
peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came
to them, but he cometh not again.
12-9:19 Then
he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the
king, Is it peace? And Jehu answered, What hast
thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me.
12-10:30 And
the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done
well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine
heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.
12-14:10 Thou
hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath
lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle
to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
12-17:26 Wherefore
they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria,
know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among
them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God
of the land.
12-19:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD,
Be not afraid of the words which thou hast
heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
12-19:11 Behold,
thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have
done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shalt thou be delivered?
12-19:15 And
Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest
between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms
of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
12-19:20 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me
against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
12-19:22 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against
whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up
thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
12-19:23 By
thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord,
and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots
I am come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will
cut down the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I
will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.
12-19:25 Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and
of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that
thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous heaps.
12-20:19 Then
said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and
truth be in my days?
12-22:18 But
to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say
to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;
12-22:19 Because
thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled
thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place,
and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a
curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept
before me; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.
12-23:17 Then
he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is
the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these
things that thou hast done against the altar of
Bethel.
13-17:8 And
I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast
walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee
a name like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
13-17:16 And
David the king came and sat before the LORD, and said, Who am I, O LORD God,
and what is mine house, that thou hast brought
me hitherto?
13-17:17 And
yet this was a small thing in thine eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a great
while to come, and hast regarded me according to
the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.
13-17:19 O
LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all
these great things.
13-17:21 And
what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem
to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by
driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast
redeemed out of Egypt?
13-17:23 Therefore
now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken
concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do
as thou hast said.
13-17:25 For
thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou
wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray
before thee.
13-17:26 And
now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this
goodness unto thy servant:
13-22:8 But
the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast
shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars:
thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
13-28:3 But
God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast
shed blood.
13-28:20 And
David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear
not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will
not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast
finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
13-29:17 I
know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast
pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have
willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people,
which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
14-1:8 And
Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great
mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to
reign in his stead.
14-1:9 Now,
O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the
earth in multitude.
14-1:11 And
God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life
of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long
life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for
thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
14-6:15 Thou
which hast kept with thy servant David my father
that which thou hast promised him; and spakest
with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine
hand, as it is this day.
14-6:16 Now
therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that
which thou hast promised him, saying, There
shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so
that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
14-6:17 Now
then, O LORD God of Israel, let thy word be verified, which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David.
14-6:20 That
thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof
thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name
there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.
14-6:27 Then
hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people
Israel, when thou hast taught them the good way,
wherein they should walk; and send rain upon thy land, which thou hast given unto thy people for an inheritance.
14-6:34 If
thy people go out to war against their enemies by the way that thou shalt send
them, and they pray unto thee toward this city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy
name;
14-6:38 If
they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of
their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their
land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built
for thy name:
14-16:7 And
at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him,
Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria,
and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria
escaped out of thine hand.
14-16:9 For
the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself
strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou
shalt have wars.
14-19:3 Nevertheless
there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast
taken away the groves out of the land, and hast
prepared thine heart to seek God.
14-20:11 Behold,
I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou
hast given us to inherit.
14-20:37 Then
Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying,
Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah,
the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not
able to go to Tarshish.
14-21:12 And
there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the
LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast
not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king
of Judah,
14-21:13 But
hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel,
and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also
hast slain thy brethren of thy father’s house,
which were better than thyself:
14-24:6 And
the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out
of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of
Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the congregation of Israel, for the
tabernacle of witness?
14-25:15 Wherefore
the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a
prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou
sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people
out of thine hand?
14-25:16 And
it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou
made of the king’s counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the
prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee,
because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.
14-25:19 Thou
sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and
thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou
meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
14-26:18 And
they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee,
Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron,
that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour
from the LORD God.
14-34:26 And
as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say
unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which thou hast heard;
15-9:11 Which
thou hast commanded by thy servants the
prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land
with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which
have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.
15-9:13 And
after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass,
seeing that thou our God hast punished us less
than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us
such deliverance as this;
15-10:12 Then
all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast said, so must we do.
16-1:10 Now
these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast
redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.
16-6:7 And
thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of
thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be
reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us
take counsel together.
16-9:6 Thou,
even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made
heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things
that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them
all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
16-9:8 And
foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give
the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and
the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:
16-9:33 Howbeit
thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast
done right, but we have done wickedly:
16-9:37 And
it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast
set over us because of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and
over our cattle, at their pleasure, and we are in great distress.
17-6:10 Then
the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou
hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew,
that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.
17-6:13 And
Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen
him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the
seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to
fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.
18-1:8 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered
my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an
upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
18-1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his
house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast
blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
18-2:3 And
the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered
my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an
upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth
fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him
without cause.
18-4:3 Behold,
thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.
18-4:4 Thy
words have upholden him that was falling, and thou hast
strengthened the feeble knees.
18-7:20 I
have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am
a burden to myself?
18-10:4 Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
18-10:9 Remember,
I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the
clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
18-10:10 Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me
like cheese?
18-10:11 Thou
hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
18-10:12 Thou
hast granted me life and favour, and thy
visitation hath preserved my spirit.
18-10:13 And
these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I
know that this is with thee.
18-10:18 Wherefore
then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb?
Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
18-11:4 For
thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am
clean in thine eyes.
18-14:5 Seeing
his days are determined, the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;
18-15:8 Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou
restrain wisdom to thyself?
18-16:7 But
now he hath made me weary: thou hast made
desolate all my company.
18-16:8 And
thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a
witness against me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
18-17:4 For
thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore
shalt thou not exalt them.
18-22:6 For
thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for
nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
18-22:7 Thou
hast not given water to the weary to drink, and
thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
18-22:9 Thou
hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the
fatherless have been broken.
18-22:15 Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have
trodden?
18-26:2 How
hast thou helped him that is without power? how
savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
18-26:3 How
hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom?
and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing
as it is?
18-26:4 To
whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit
came from thee?
18-33:8 Surely
thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have
heard the voice of thy words, saying,
18-33:32 If
thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak,
for I desire to justify thee.
18-34:16 If
now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken
to the voice of my words.
18-36:17 But
thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked:
judgment and justice take hold on thee.
18-36:21 Take
heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou
chosen rather than affliction.
18-36:23 Who
hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast
wrought iniquity?
18-37:18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is
strong, and as a molten looking glass?
18-38:4 Where
wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
18-38:12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and
caused the dayspring to know his place;
18-38:16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
18-38:17 Have
the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast
thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
18-38:18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare
if thou knowest it all.
18-38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
18-39:19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?
18-40:9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with
a voice like him?
19-3:7 Arise,
O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten
all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast
broken the teeth of the ungodly.
19-4:1 Hear
me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast
enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
19-4:7 Thou
hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the
time that their corn and their wine increased.
19-7:6 Arise,
O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies:
and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast
commanded.
19-8:1 O
LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
19-8:2 Out
of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou
ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy
and the avenger.
19-8:3 When
I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which
thou hast ordained;
19-8:5 For
thou hast made him a little lower than the
angels, and hast crowned him with glory and
honour.
19-8:6 Thou
madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
19-9:4 For
thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou
satest in the throne judging right.
19-9:5 Thou
hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
19-9:6 O
thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with
them.
19-9:10 And
they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
19-10:14 Thou
hast seen it: for thou beholdest mischief and
spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou
art the helper of the fatherless.
19-10:17 LORD,
thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou
wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
19-16:2 O
my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art
my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
19-17:3 Thou
hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed
that my mouth shall not transgress.
19-18:35 Thou
hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
19-18:36 Thou
hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet
did not slip.
19-18:39 For
thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle:
thou hast subdued under me those that rose up
against me.
19-18:40 Thou
hast also given me the necks of mine enemies;
that I might destroy them that hate me.
19-18:43 Thou
hast delivered me from the strivings of the
people; and thou hast made me the head of the
heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
19-18:48 He
delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise
up against me: thou hast delivered me from the
violent man.
19-21:2 Thou
hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.
19-21:5 His
glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast
thou laid upon him.
19-21:6 For
thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
19-22:1 My
God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art
thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
19-22:15 My
strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and
thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
19-22:21 Save
me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me
from the horns of the unicorns.
19-27:9 Hide
not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O
God of my salvation.
19-30:1 I
will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me
up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over
me.
19-30:2 O
LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast
healed me.
19-30:3 O
LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the
grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should
not go down to the pit.
19-30:7 LORD,
by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to
stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
19-30:11 Thou
hast turned for me my mourning into dancing:
thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me
with gladness;
19-31:5 Into
thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast
redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
19-31:7 I
will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast
considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul
in adversities;
19-31:8 And
hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy:
thou hast set my feet in a large room.
19-31:19 Oh
how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid
up for them that fear thee; which thou hast
wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
19-35:22 This
thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O
LORD, be not far from me.
19-39:5 Behold,
thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and
mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is
altogether vanity. Selah.
19-40:5 Many,
O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast
done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in
order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can
be numbered.
19-40:6 Sacrifice
and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast
thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast
thou not required.
19-42:9 I
will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou
forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
19-44:7 But
thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
19-44:9 But
thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and
goest not forth with our armies.
19-44:11 Thou
hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and
hast scattered us among the heathen.
19-44:19 Though
thou hast sore broken us in the place of
dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
19-50:16 But
unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do
to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
19-50:18 When
thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
19-50:21 These
things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou
thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove
thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
19-51:8 Make
me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast
broken may rejoice.
19-52:9 I
will praise thee for ever, because thou hast
done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
19-53:5 There
were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of
him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put
them to shame, because God hath despised them.
19-56:13 For
thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not
thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of
the living?
19-59:16 But
I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the
day of my trouble.
19-60:1 O
God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast
been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
19-60:2 Thou
hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it
shaketh.
19-60:3 Thou
hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
19-60:4 Thou
hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that
it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
19-61:3 For
thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong
tower from the enemy.
19-61:5 For
thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy
name.
19-63:7 Because
thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow
of thy wings will I rejoice.
19-65:9 Thou
visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river
of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
19-66:10 For
thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
19-66:12 Thou
hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went
through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy
place.
19-68:10 Thy
congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast
prepared of thy goodness for the poor.
19-68:18 Thou
hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious
also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
19-68:28 Thy
God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
19-69:19 Thou
hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my
dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
19-69:26 For
they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and
they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast
wounded.
19-71:3 Be
thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my
rock and my fortress.
19-71:17 O
God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and
hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
19-71:19 Thy
righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast
done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!
19-71:20 Thou,
which hast shewed me great and sore troubles,
shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the
earth.
19-71:23 My
lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
19-73:23 Nevertheless
I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me
by my right hand.
19-73:27 For,
lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast
destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
19-74:1 O
God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why
doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
19-74:2 Remember
thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of
old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast
redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast
dwelt.
19-74:16 The
day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast
prepared the light and the sun.
19-74:17 Thou
hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
19-77:14 Thou
art the God that doest wonders: thou hast
declared thy strength among the people.
19-77:15 Thou
hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the
sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
19-80:8 Thou
hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
19-80:12 Why
hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that
all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
19-85:1 LORD,
thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
19-85:2 Thou
hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
19-85:3 Thou
hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine
anger.
19-86:9 All
nations whom thou hast made shall come and
worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
19-86:13 For
great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast
delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
19-86:17 Shew
me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed:
because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted
me.
19-88:6 Thou
hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in
the deeps.
19-88:7 Thy
wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast
afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.
19-88:8 Thou
hast put away mine acquaintance far from me;
thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am
shut up, and I cannot come forth.
19-88:18 Lover
and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine
acquaintance into darkness.
19-89:10 Thou
hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is
slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with
thy strong arm.
19-89:11 The
heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness
thereof, thou hast founded them.
19-89:12 The
north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor
and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
19-89:13 Thou
hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high
is thy right hand.
19-89:38 But
thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
19-89:39 Thou
hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou
hast profaned his crown by casting it to the
ground.
19-89:40 Thou
hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
19-89:42 Thou
hast set up the right hand of his adversaries;
thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
19-89:43 Thou
hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
19-89:44 Thou
hast made his glory to cease, and cast his
throne down to the ground.
19-89:45 The
days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.
19-89:47 Remember
how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made
all men in vain?
19-90:1 LORD,
thou hast been our dwelling place in all
generations.
19-90:8 Thou
hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret
sins in the light of thy countenance.
19-90:15 Make
us glad according to the days wherein thou hast
afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
19-91:9 Because
thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation;
19-92:4 For
thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work:
I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
19-102:10 Because
of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast
lifted me up, and cast me down.
19-102:25 Of
old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth:
and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
19-104:8 They
go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
19-104:9 Thou
hast set a bound that they may not pass over;
that they turn not again to cover the earth.
19-104:24 O
LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast
thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
19-104:26 There
go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast
made to play therein.
19-108:11 Wilt
not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt
not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
19-109:27 That
they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, LORD, hast
done it.
19-110:3 Thy
people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness
from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew
of thy youth.
19-116:8 For
thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine
eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
19-116:16 O
LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid:
thou hast loosed my bonds.
19-118:13 Thou
hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but
the LORD helped me.
19-118:21 I
will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and
art become my salvation.
19-119:4 Thou
hast commanded us to keep thy precepts
diligently.
19-119:21 Thou
hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do
err from thy commandments.
19-119:49 ZAIN. Remember the word unto thy
servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
19-119:65 TETH. Thou hast
dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
19-119:75 I
know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
19-119:90 Thy
faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast
established the earth, and it abideth.
19-119:93 I
will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast
quickened me.
19-119:98 Thou
through thy commandments hast made me wiser than
mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
19-119:102 I
have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast
taught me.
19-119:118 Thou
hast trodden down all them that err from thy
statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
19-119:138 Thy
testimonies that thou hast commanded are
righteous and very faithful.
19-119:152 Concerning
thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast
founded them for ever.
19-119:171 My
lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught
me thy statutes.
19-137:8 O
daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth
thee as thou hast served us.
19-138:2 I
will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness
and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy
word above all thy name.
19-139:1 O
LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
19-139:5 Thou
hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine
hand upon me.
19-139:13 For
thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
19-140:7 O
GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast
covered my head in the day of battle.
20-3:28 Say
not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when
thou hast it by thee.
20-6:1 My
son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast
stricken thy hand with a stranger,
20-22:27 If
thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take
away thy bed from under thee?
20-23:8 The
morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit
up, and lose thy sweet words.
20-24:14 So
shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy
expectation shall not be cut off.
20-25:16 Hast thou found honey? eat so much as is sufficient
for thee, lest thou be filled therewith, and vomit it.
20-30:32 If
thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself,
or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand
upon thy mouth.
21-5:4 When
thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in
fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
21-7:22 For
oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.
22-1:15 Behold,
thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast
doves’ eyes.
22-4:1 Behold,
thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast
doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from
mount Gilead.
22-4:9 Thou
hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse;
thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine
eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
23-2:6 Therefore
thou hast forsaken thy people the house of
Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the
Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
23-3:6 When
a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be
under thy hand:
23-9:3 Thou
hast multiplied the nation, and not increased
the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men
rejoice when they divide the spoil.
23-9:4 For
thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the
staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
23-14:13 For
thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend
into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also
upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
23-14:20 Thou
shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast
destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be
renowned.
23-17:10 Because
thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation,
and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy
strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with
strange slips:
23-22:16 What
hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed
thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that
graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
23-23:16 Take
an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast
been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be
remembered.
23-25:1 O
LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are
faithfulness and truth.
23-25:2 For
thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced
city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
23-25:4 For
thou hast been a strength to the poor, a
strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from
the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
23-26:12 LORD,
thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast
wrought all our works in us.
23-26:14 They
are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise:
therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them,
and made all their memory to perish.
23-26:15 Thou
hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou
hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
23-37:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD,
Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard,
wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
23-37:11 Behold,
thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have
done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?
23-37:16 O
LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the
God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
23-37:21 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against
Sennacherib king of Assyria:
23-37:23 Whom
hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against
whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up
thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
23-37:24 By
thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come
up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down
the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter
into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
23-37:26 Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and
of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that
thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
23-38:17 Behold,
for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast
in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
23-39:8 Then
said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be
peace and truth in my days.
23-40:28 Hast thou not known? hast
thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of
the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
23-43:4 Since
thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been
honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and
people for thy life.
23-43:22 But
thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
23-43:23 Thou
hast not brought me the small cattle of thy
burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me
with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor
wearied thee with incense.
23-43:24 Thou
hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither
hast thou filled me with the fat of thy
sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with
thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine
iniquities.
23-45:4 For
Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy
name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not
known me.
23-45:5 I
am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee,
though thou hast not known me:
23-45:10 Woe
unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What
hast thou brought forth?
23-47:6 I
was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into
thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.
23-47:10 For
thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy
knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast
said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
23-47:12 Stand
now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein
thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou
shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
23-47:15 Thus
shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured,
even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter;
none shall save thee.
23-48:6 Thou
hast heard, see all this; and will not ye
declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things,
and thou didst not know them.
23-49:20 The
children which thou shalt have, after thou hast
lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me:
give place to me that I may dwell.
23-51:13 And
forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid
the foundations of the earth; and hast feared
continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready
to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
23-51:17 Awake,
awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk
at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast
drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
23-51:23 But
I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy
soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast
laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
23-57:6 Among
the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to
them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort
in these?
23-57:7 Upon
a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed:
even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
23-57:8 Behind
the doors also and the posts hast thou set up
thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered
thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast
enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed
where thou sawest it.
23-57:10 Thou
art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope:
thou hast found the life of thine hand;
therefore thou wast not grieved.
23-57:11 And
of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that
thou hast lied, and hast
not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of
old, and thou fearest me not?
23-60:15 Whereas
thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no
man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many
generations.
23-62:8 The
LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I
will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the
stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast
laboured:
23-63:17 O
LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy ways,
and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes
of thine inheritance.
23-64:7 And
there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold
of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and
hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
24-1:12 Then
said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for
I will hasten my word to perform it.
24-2:17 Hast thou not procured this unto thyself, in that thou
hast forsaken the LORD thy God, when he led thee
by the way?
24-2:18 And
now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to
drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to
do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
24-2:19 Thine
own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee:
know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is
not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
24-2:23 How
canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in
the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a
swift dromedary traversing her ways;
24-2:27 Saying
to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast
brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face:
but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.
24-2:28 But
where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let
them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to
the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
24-2:33 Why
trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast
thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.
24-3:1 They
say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s,
shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but
thou hast played the harlot with many lovers;
yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
24-3:2 Lift
up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast
not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat
for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast
polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
24-3:5 Will
he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.
24-3:6 The
LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast
thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every
high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
24-3:13 Only
acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast
transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast
scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not
obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
24-4:10 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly
deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the
sword reacheth unto the soul.
24-4:19 My
bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me;
I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard,
O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
24-5:3 O
LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast
stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast
consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made
their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
24-12:2 Thou
hast planted them, yea, they have taken root:
they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far
from their reins.
24-12:3 But
thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and
tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and
prepare them for the day of slaughter.
24-12:5 If
thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied
thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace,
wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the
swelling of Jordan?
24-13:4 Take
the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy
loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.
24-13:21 What
wilt thou say when he shall punish thee? for thou hast
taught them to be captains, and as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take
thee, as a woman in travail?
24-13:25 This
is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the LORD; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.
24-14:19 Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul
loathed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and
there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for
the time of healing, and behold trouble!
24-14:22 Are
there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the
heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait
upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.
24-15:6 Thou
hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone
backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee;
I am weary with repenting.
24-15:10 Woe
is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man
of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on
usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.
24-15:17 I
sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of
thy hand: for thou hast filled me with
indignation.
24-20:6 And
thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and
thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried
there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast
prophesied lies.
24-20:7 O
LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived:
thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I
am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
24-26:9 Why
hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD,
saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate
without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the
house of the LORD.
24-28:6 Even
the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words
which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the
vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon
into this place.
24-28:13 Go
and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast
broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
24-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth:
this year thou shalt die, because thou hast
taught rebellion against the LORD.
24-29:25 Thus
speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that
are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all
the priests, saying,
24-29:27 Now
therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of
Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you?
24-30:13 There
is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
24-31:18 I
have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast
chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn
thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
24-32:17 Ah
Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and
the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too
hard for thee:
24-32:20 Which
hast set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt,
even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;
24-32:21 And
hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the
land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a
stretched out arm, and with great terror;
24-32:22 And
hast given them this land, which thou didst swear
to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
24-32:23 And
they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked
in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do:
therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come
upon them:
24-32:24 Behold
the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into
the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of
the famine, and of the pestilence: and what thou hast
spoken is come to pass; and, behold, thou seest it.
24-32:25 And
thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the
field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the
Chaldeans.
24-36:6 Therefore
go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast
written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the
LORD’S house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of
all Judah that come out of their cities.
24-36:14 Therefore
all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son
of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So
Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
24-36:29 And
thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon
shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from
thence man and beast?
24-38:25 But
if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and
say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast
said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death;
also what the king said unto thee:
24-39:18 For
I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life
shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast
put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.
24-44:16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will
not hearken unto thee.
24-48:7 For
because thou hast trusted in thy works and in
thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into
captivity with his priests and his
princes together.
24-50:24 I
have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast
not aware: thou art found, and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.
24-51:62 Then
shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against
this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast,
but that it shall be desolate for ever.
24-51:63 And
it shall be, when thou hast made an end of
reading this book, that thou shalt
bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:
25-1:21 They
have heard that I sigh: there is none
to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that
thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that
thou hast called, and they shall be like
unto me.
25-1:22 Let
all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my
sighs are many, and my heart is faint.
25-2:20 Behold,
O LORD, and consider to whom thou hast done
this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and
children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the
sanctuary of the Lord?
25-2:21 The
young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men
are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and
not pitied.
25-2:22 Thou
hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round
about, so that in the day of the LORD’S anger none escaped nor remained: those
that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.
25-3:17 And
thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I
forgat prosperity.
25-3:42 We
have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast
not pardoned.
25-3:43 Thou
hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou
hast slain, thou hast
not pitied.
25-3:44 Thou
hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.
25-3:45 Thou
hast made us as
the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.
25-3:56 Thou
hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my
breathing, at my cry.
25-3:58 O
Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul;
thou hast redeemed my life.
25-3:59 O
LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my
cause.
25-3:60 Thou
hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginations against me.
25-3:61 Thou
hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me;
25-5:22 But
thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very
wroth against us.
26-3:19 Yet
if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his
wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast
delivered thy soul.
26-3:20 Again,
When a righteous man doth turn from
his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him,
he shall die: because thou hast not given him
warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done
shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-3:21 Nevertheless
if thou warn the righteous man, that
the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is
warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
26-4:6 And
when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on
thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty
days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
26-4:8 And,
behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side
to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy
siege.
26-5:11 Wherefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD;
Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary
with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will
I also diminish thee; neither shall
mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
26-8:12 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what
the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers
of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the
earth.
26-8:15 Then
said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again,
and thou shalt see greater
abominations than these.
26-8:17 Then
he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing
to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here?
for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to
anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
26-9:11 And,
behold, the man clothed with linen, which had
the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
26-16:7 I
have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to
excellent ornaments: thy breasts are
fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.
26-16:17 Thou
hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and
of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and
didst commit whoredom with them,
26-16:18 And
tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them.
26-16:19 My
meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:20 Moreover
thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom
thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,
26-16:21 That
thou hast slain my children, and delivered them
to cause them to pass through the fire for
them?
26-16:22 And
in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast
not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
26-16:24 That thou hast
also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast
made thee an high place in every street.
26-16:25 Thou
hast built thy high place at every head of the
way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred,
and hast opened thy feet to every one that
passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
26-16:26 Thou
hast also committed fornication with the
Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast
increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.
26-16:28 Thou
hast played the whore also with the Assyrians,
because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast
played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.
26-16:29 Thou
hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the
land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.
26-16:31 In
that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest
thine high place in every street; and hast not
been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
26-16:37 Behold,
therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast
taken pleasure, and all them that
thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will
even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto
them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
26-16:43 Because
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth,
but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will
recompense thy way upon thine head,
saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine
abominations.
26-16:47 Yet
hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done
after their abominations: but, as if that
were a very little thing, thou
wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
26-16:48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy
sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast
done, thou and thy daughters.
26-16:51 Neither
hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast
multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast
justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.
26-16:52 Thou
also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine
own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed
more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou
confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast
justified thy sisters.
26-16:54 That
thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.
26-16:58 Thou
hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations,
saith the LORD.
26-16:59 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast
despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
26-16:63 That
thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more
because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-22:4 Thou
art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast
shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols
which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I
made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
26-22:8 Thou
hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
26-22:12 In
thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast
taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily
gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast
forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
26-22:13 Behold,
therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the
midst of thee.
26-23:30 I
will do these things unto thee,
because thou hast gone a whoring after the
heathen, and because thou art
polluted with their idols.
26-23:31 Thou
hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore
will I give her cup into thine hand.
26-23:35 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy
lewdness and thy whoredoms.
26-23:41 And
satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.
26-25:6 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
clapped thine hands, and stamped with
the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of
Israel;
26-27:3 And
say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for
many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast
said, I am of perfect beauty.
26-28:2 Son
of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine
heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a
God, I sit in the seat of God, in the
midst of the seas; yet thou art a
man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
26-28:4 With
thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast
gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and
silver into thy treasures:
26-28:5 By
thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is
lifted up because of thy riches:
26-28:6 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine
heart as the heart of God;
26-28:13 Thou
hast been in Eden the garden of God; every
precious stone was thy covering, the
sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the
sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy
tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast
created.
26-28:14 Thou
art the anointed cherub that
covereth; and I have set thee so: thou
wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast
walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
26-28:16 By
the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with
violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will
cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
26-28:17 Thine
heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast
corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the
ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
26-28:18 Thou
hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of
thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth
a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to
ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
26-31:10 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick
boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
26-32:9 I
will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction
among the nations, into the countries which thou hast
not known.
26-33:9 Nevertheless,
if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his
way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast
delivered thy soul.
26-35:5 Because
thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the
blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of
their calamity, in the time that their iniquity
had an end:
26-35:6 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
26-35:10 Because
thou hast said, These two nations and these two
countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will
even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will
make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:12 And
thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy
blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the
mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
26-36:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast
bereaved thy nations;
26-38:13 Sheba,
and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof,
shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast
thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to
take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
26-43:23 When
thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock
without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
26-47:6 And
he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me
to return to the brink of the river.
27-2:23 I
thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee:
for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
27-3:10 Thou,
O king, hast made a decree, that every man that
shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and
dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden
image:
27-3:12 There
are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the
affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men,
O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden
image which thou hast set up.
27-3:18 But
if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor
worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
27-5:22 And
thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled
thine heart, though thou knewest all this;
27-5:23 But
hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of
heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou,
and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou
hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of
brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in
whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
27-6:12 Then
they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that
shall ask a petition of any God or
man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of
lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which
altereth not.
27-6:13 Then
answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O
king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but
maketh his petition three times a day.
27-9:7 O
Lord, righteousness belongeth unto
thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far
off, through all the countries whither thou hast
driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.
27-9:15 And
now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy
people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have
sinned, we have done wickedly.
27-10:19 And
said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken
unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
28-4:6 My
people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that
thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
28-9:1 Rejoice
not, O Israel, for joy, as other people:
for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
28-10:9 O
Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of
Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity
did not overtake them.
28-13:9 O
Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
28-14:1 O
Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast
fallen by thine iniquity.
31-1:15 For
the day of the LORD is near upon all
the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done
unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
32-1:10 Then
were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the
presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
32-1:14 Wherefore
they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee,
let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for
thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.
32-2:6 I
went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD
my God.
32-4:10 Then
said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd,
for the which thou hast not laboured, neither
madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
33-7:20 Thou
wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the
mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our
fathers from the days of old.
34-3:16 Thou
hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of
heaven: the cankerworm spoileth, and fleeth away.
35-1:12 Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my
God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast
ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast
established them for correction.
35-2:8 Because
thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant
of the people shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and for the violence of the land, of the
city, and of all that dwell therein.
35-2:10 Thou
hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off
many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
36-3:11 In
that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take
away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no
more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
38-1:12 Then
the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou
not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?
39-1:2 I
have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast
thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s
brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
39-2:14 Yet
ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife
of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt
treacherously: yet is she thy
companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
40-5:26 Verily
I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.
40-6:6 But
thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in
secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
40-8:13 And
Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast
believed, so be it done unto thee.
And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
40-11:25 At
that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, because thou hast hid these things from
the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them
unto babes.
40-17:27 Notwithstanding,
lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up
the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast
opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto
them for me and thee.
40-18:15 Moreover
if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between
thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast
gained thy brother.
40-19:21 Jesus
said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and
sell that thou hast, and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
40-20:12 Saying,
These last have wrought but one hour,
and thou hast made them equal unto us, which
have borne the burden and heat of the day.
40-21:16 And
said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea;
have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
40-25:21 His
lord said unto him, Well done, thou good
and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over
a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy
of thy lord.
40-25:23 His
lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee
ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
40-25:24 Then
he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou
art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not
sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
40-25:25 And
I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast
that is thine.
40-26:25 Then
Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto
him, Thou hast said.
40-26:64 Jesus
saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say
unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of
power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
40-27:46 And
about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama
sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast
thou forsaken me?
41-10:21 Then
Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go
thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to
the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and
follow me.
41-12:32 And
the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast
said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
41-15:34 And
at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama
sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
42-1:4 That
thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.
42-1:30 And
the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast
found favour with God.
42-2:31 Which
thou hast prepared before the face of all
people;
42-2:48 And
when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I
have sought thee sorrowing.
42-7:43 Simon
answered and said, I suppose that he, to
whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast
rightly judged.
42-10:21 In
that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of
heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things
from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed
them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
42-10:28 And
he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this
do, and thou shalt live.
42-11:27 And
it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company
lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
42-12:19 And
I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much
goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
42-12:20 But
God said unto him, Thou fool, this
night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be,
which thou hast provided?
42-12:59 I
tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast
paid the very last mite.
42-13:26 Then
shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
42-14:22 And
the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast
commanded, and yet there is room.
42-15:30 But
as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots,
thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
42-18:22 Now
when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing:
sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the
poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
42-19:17 And
he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten
cities.
42-20:39 Then
certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast
well said.
42-24:18 And
the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only
a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things
which are come to pass there in these days?
43-2:10 And
saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when
men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine
until now.
43-4:11 The
woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to
draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast
thou that living water?
43-4:17 The
woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
43-4:18 For
thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou
now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou
truly.
43-6:68 Then
Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
43-7:20 The
people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who
goeth about to kill thee?
43-8:48 Then
answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a
Samaritan, and hast a devil?
43-8:52 Then
said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast
a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my
saying, he shall never taste of death.
43-8:57 Then
said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
43-9:37 And
Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him,
and it is he that talketh with thee.
43-11:41 Then
they took away the stone from the place where
the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his
eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast
heard me.
43-11:42 And
I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I
said it, that they may believe that
thou hast sent me.
43-13:8 Peter
saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash
thee not, thou hast no part with me.
43-13:38 Jesus
answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast
denied me thrice.
43-14:9 Jesus
saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me
hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then,
Shew us the Father?
43-17:2 As
thou hast given him power over all flesh, that
he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast
given him.
43-17:3 And
this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus
Christ, whom thou hast sent.
43-17:7 Now
they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast
given me are of thee.
43-17:9 I
pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
43-17:11 And
now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
43-17:18 As
thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I
also sent them into the world.
43-17:21 That
they all may be one; as thou, Father, art
in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may
believe that thou hast sent me.
43-17:23 I
in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the
world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast
loved me.
43-17:24 Father,
I will that they also, whom thou hast given me,
be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the
foundation of the world.
43-17:25 O
righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and
these have known that thou hast sent me.
43-17:26 And
I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast
loved me may be in them, and I in them.
43-18:35 Pilate
answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered
thee unto me: what hast thou done?
43-20:15 Jesus
saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him
to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me
where thou hast laid him, and I will take him
away.
43-20:29 Jesus
saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen
me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
44-1:24 And
they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,
44-2:28 Thou
hast made known to me the ways of life; thou
shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
44-4:24 And
when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and
said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that
in them is:
44-4:25 Who
by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why
did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?
44-4:27 For
of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast
anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of
Israel, were gathered together,
44-5:4 Whiles
it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine
own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in
thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but
unto God.
44-8:20 But
Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased
with money.
44-8:21 Thou
hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for
thy heart is not right in the sight of God.
44-10:33 Immediately
therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well
done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to
hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
44-22:15 For
thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast
seen and heard.
44-23:11 And
the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul:
for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem,
so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
44-23:19 Then
the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell
me?
44-23:22 So
the chief captain then let the young
man depart, and charged him, See thou tell
no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
44-24:10 Then
Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered,
Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many
years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
44-25:12 Then
Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed unto Caesar? unto Caesar shalt thou
go.
44-26:16 But
rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,
to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will
appear unto thee;
45-2:20 An
instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast
the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
45-9:20 Nay
but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say
to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
45-14:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is
he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
46-4:7 For
who maketh thee to differ from another? and
what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now
if thou didst receive it, why dost
thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
46-7:28 But
and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if
a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in
the flesh: but I spare you.
46-8:10 For
if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at
meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be
emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
51-4:17 And
say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast
received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
54-4:6 If
thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good
minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good
doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
54-6:12 Fight
the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also
called, and hast professed a good profession
before many witnesses.
55-1:13 Hold
fast the form of sound words, which thou hast
heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
55-2:2 And
the things that thou hast heard of me among many
witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.
55-3:10 But
thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of
life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
55-3:14 But
continue thou in the things which thou hast
learned and hast been assured of, knowing of
whom thou hast learned them;
55-3:15 And
that from a child thou hast known the holy
scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which
is in Christ Jesus.
57-1:5 Hearing
of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward
the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;
58-1:9 Thou
hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity;
therefore God, even thy God, hath
anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
58-1:10 And,
Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the
foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
58-2:8 Thou
hast put all things in subjection under his
feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we
see not yet all things put under him.
58-10:5 Wherefore
when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest
not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
58-10:6 In
burnt offerings and sacrifices for
sin thou hast had no pleasure.
59-2:18 Yea,
a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have
works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my
works.
66-1:19 Write
the things which thou hast seen, and the things
which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
66-2:2 I
know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear
them which are evil: and thou hast tried them
which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast
found them liars:
66-2:3 And
hast borne, and hast
patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured,
and hast not fainted.
66-2:4 Nevertheless
I have somewhat against thee, because
thou hast left thy first love.
66-2:6 But
this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of
the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
66-2:13 I
know thy works and where thou dwellest, even
where Satan’s seat is: and thou
holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my
faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was
my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
66-2:14 But
I have a few things against thee, because thou hast
there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a
stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto
idols, and to commit fornication.
66-2:15 So
hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of
the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
66-3:1 And
unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath
the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
66-3:3 Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and
hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
66-3:4 Thou
hast a few names even in Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are
worthy.
66-3:8 I
know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can
shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast
not denied my name.
66-3:10 Because
thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also
will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the
world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
66-3:11 Behold,
I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast,
that no man take thy crown.
66-4:11 Thou
art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are
and were created.
66-5:9 And
they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the
seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast
redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people,
and nation;
66-5:10 And
hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and
we shall reign on the earth.
66-11:17 Saying,
We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come;
because thou hast taken to thee thy great power,
and hast reigned.
66-16:5 And
I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and
wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged
thus.
66-16:6 For
they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
