48-GALATIANS

48-1:7      Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

48-1:11     But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

48-2:16     Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

48-2:17     But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

48-2:21     I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

48-3:10     For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

48-3:11     But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

48-3:12     And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

48-3:13     Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

48-3:16     Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

48-3:18     For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

48-3:20     Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

48-3:21     Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

48-3:25     But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

48-3:28     There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

48-4:1      Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

48-4:2      But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

48-4:15     Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

48-4:18     But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

48-4:22     For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

48-4:24     Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

48-4:25     For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

48-4:26     But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

48-4:27     For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

48-4:29     But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

48-5:3      For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

48-5:4      Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

48-5:11     And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

48-5:14     For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

48-5:22     But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

48-5:23     Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

48-6:3      For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

48-6:6      Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

48-6:7      Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

48-6:14     But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

49-4:9      (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

49-4:22     That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

50-PHILIPPIANS

50-1:7      Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

50-1:8      For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

50-1:18     What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

50-1:21     For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

50-1:22     But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.

50-1:23     For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

50-1:24     Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

50-1:28     And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

50-1:29     For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

50-2:9      Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

50-2:11     And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

50-2:13     For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

50-3:1      Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

50-3:6      Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

50-3:9      And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

50-3:19     Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

50-3:20     For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

50-3:21     Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

50-4:5      Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

51-1:5      For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

51-1:6      Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

51-1:7      As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

51-1:15     Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

51-1:17     And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

51-1:18     And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

51-1:23     If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

51-1:24     Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

51-1:25     Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

51-1:26     Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

51-1:27     To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

51-2:10     And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

51-2:17     Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

51-3:3      For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

51-3:4      When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

51-3:5      Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

51-3:10     And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

51-3:11     Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

51-3:14     And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

51-3:18     Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

51-3:20     Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

51-3:25     But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

51-4:1      Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

51-4:7      All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:

51-4:9      With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

51-4:11     And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.

51-4:12     Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

51-4:15     Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.

51-4:16     And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

52-1 THESSALONIANS

52-1:1      Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

52-1:8      For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

52-2:5      For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness:

52-2:13     For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

52-2:16     Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

52-2:19     For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

52-3:10     Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

52-4:3      For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:

52-4:6      That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

52-5:15     See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

52-5:18     In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

52-5:21     Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

52-5:24     Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

53-2 THESSALONIANS

53-1:3      We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

53-1:5      Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

53-1:6      Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

53-2:2      That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

53-2:4      Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

53-2:9      Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

53-3:1      Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

53-3:3      But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

53-3:17     The salutation of Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

54-1 TIMOTHY

54-1:1      Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

54-1:4      Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

54-1:5      Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

54-1:8      But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;

54-1:9      Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

54-1:10     For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

54-1:14     And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

54-1:15     This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

54-1:20     Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

54-2:3      For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

54-2:5      For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

54-3:1      This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

54-3:13     For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

54-3:15     But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

54-3:16     And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

54-4:4      For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

54-4:5      For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

54-4:8      For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

54-4:9      This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

54-4:10     For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

54-4:14     Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

54-5:4      But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

54-5:5      Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.

54-5:6      But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

54-5:8      But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

54-5:18     For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

54-6:3      If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

54-6:4      He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

54-6:5      Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

54-6:6      But godliness with contentment is great gain.

54-6:7      For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

54-6:10     For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

54-6:15     Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

54-6:20     O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
