04-25:7 And when
Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the
congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
09-18:10 And
it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul,
and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as
at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand.
09-18:11 And
Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite
David even to the wall with it. And
David avoided out of his presence twice.
09-19:9 And
the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.
09-19:10 And
Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped
away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin
into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.
09-20:33 And
Saul cast a javelin at him to smite him: whereby
Jonathan knew that it was determined of his father to slay David.

07-15:16 And
Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.
07-15:19 But
God clave an hollow place that was in
the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when
he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the
name thereof Enhakkore, which is in
Lehi unto this day.
18-41:2 Canst
thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw
through with a thorn?
20-30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives,
to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

07-15:15 And
he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth
his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.
07-15:16 And

07-15:17 And
it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place
Ramathlehi.

18-29:17 And
I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the
spoil out of his teeth.
19-22:15 My
strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
23-30:28 And
his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to
sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws
of the people, causing them to err.
26-29:4 But
I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause
the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out
of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy
scales.
26-38:4 And
I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws,
and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of
them clothed with all sorts of armour,
even a great company with bucklers
and shields, all of them handling swords:
28-11:4 I
drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they
that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid
meat unto them.

04-32:1 Now the
children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of
cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that,
behold, the place was a place for
cattle;
04-32:3 Ataroth,
and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and
Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,
06-13:25 And their
coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land
of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is
before Rabbah;
06-21:39 Heshbon
with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; four cities in all.
10-24:5 And
they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city
that lieth in the midst of the river
of Gad, and toward Jazer:
13-6:81 And
Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
13-26:31 Among
the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief,
even among the Hebronites, according
to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David
they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
23-16:8 For
the fields of Heshbon languish, and the
vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants
thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are
gone over the sea.
23-16:9 Therefore
I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water
thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer
fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
24-48:32 O
vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is
fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.

02-20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to
them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the
iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
02-34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god:
for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a
jealous God:
04-5:14 And the
spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous
of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him,
and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not
defiled:
04-5:30 Or when the
spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous
over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall
execute upon her all this law.
05-4:24 For the
LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous
God.
05-5:9 Thou
shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous
God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and
fourth generation of them that hate
me,
05-6:15 (For the
LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy
God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
06-24:19 And Joshua
said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions
nor your sins.
11-19:10 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD
God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown
down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my
life, to take it away.
11-19:14 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD
God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown
down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my
life, to take it away.
26-39:25 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and
have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous
for my holy name;
29-2:18 Then
will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity
his people.
34-1:2 God
is jealous,
and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he
reserveth wrath for his enemies.
38-1:14 So
the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the
LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and
for Zion with a great jealousy.
38-8:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion
with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her
with great fury.
47-11:2 For
I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I
have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
_______________________________________________________________________
04-5:29 This is the law of jealousies,
when a wife goeth aside to another instead
of her husband, and is defiled;
_______________________________________________________________________
04-5:14 And the
spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be
jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife,
and she be not defiled:
04-5:15 Then
shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering
for her, the tenth part of an ephah of
barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it
is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity
to remembrance.
04-5:18 And the
priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and
put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the
priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:
04-5:25 Then the
priest shall take the jealousy offering out of
the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it
upon the altar:
04-5:30 Or when
the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he
be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the
priest shall execute upon her all this law.
04-25:11 Phinehas,
the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from
the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I
consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.
05-29:20 The LORD
will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the
curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall
blot out his name from under heaven.
05-32:16 They
provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they
him to anger.
05-32:21 They have
moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their
vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will
provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
11-14:22 And
Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed,
above all that their fathers had done.
19-78:58 For
they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
19-79:5 How
long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy
burn like fire?
20-6:34 For
jealousy is
the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
22-8:6 Set me
as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel
as the grave: the coals thereof are coals
of fire, which hath a most vehement
flame.
23-42:13 The
LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy
like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his
enemies.
26-8:3 And
he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the
spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the
visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward
the north; where was the seat of the
image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
26-8:5 Then
said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north.
So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the
gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the
entry.
26-16:38 And
I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I
will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.
26-16:42 So
will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy
shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
26-23:25 And
I will set my jealousy against thee, and they
shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears;
and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy
daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.
26-36:5 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy
have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which
have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to
cast it out for a prey.
26-36:6 Prophesy
therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the
hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I
have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury,
because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
26-38:19 For
in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there
shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
36-1:18 Neither
their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the
LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of
all them that dwell in the land.
36-3:8 Therefore
wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for
my determination is to gather the
nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the
earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
38-1:14 So
the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the
LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
38-8:2 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
45-10:19 But I say,
Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them
that are no people, and by a
foolish nation I will anger you.
45-11:11 I say
then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to
provoke them to jealousy.
46-10:22 Do
we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger
than he?
47-11:2 For
I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I
have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

10-5:8 And
David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David’s soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore
they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
