Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of
the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake,
he told him not.

Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom,

Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the
commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the
LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel
for ever.
09-13:14 But
now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD
hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because
thou hast not kept that which the LORD
commanded thee.
09-14:47 So
Saul took the kingdom over Israel, and fought
against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against the children
of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of Zobah, and against the
Philistines: and whithersoever he turned himself, he vexed them.
09-15:28 And
Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom
of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
09-18:8 And
Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have
ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
09-20:31 For
as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be
established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send
and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die.
09-24:20 And
now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand.

the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy
neighbour, even to David:

translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and
to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to

afterward when David heard it, he

David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he
had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s
sake.

when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set
up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will
establish his kingdom.
10-7:13 He
shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

thine house and thy kingdom shall be established
for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
10-16:3 And
the king said, And where is thy
master’s son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for
he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.
10-16:8 The
LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead
thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom
into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou art taken in thy mischief, because thou art a bloody man.
11-1:46 And
also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the kingdom.
11-2:12 Then
sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father; and his kingdom was established greatly.
11-2:15 And
he said, Thou knowest that the kingdom was mine,
and that all Israel set their faces
on me, that I should reign: howbeit the kingdom
is turned about, and is become my brother’s: for it was his from the LORD.
11-2:22 And
king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag
the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom
also; for he is mine elder brother;
even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
11-2:46 So
the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; which went out, and fell upon
him, that he died. And the kingdom was
established in the hand of Solomon.
11-9:5 Then
I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon
Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not
fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
11-10:20 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps:
there was not the like made in any kingdom.
11-11:11 Wherefore
the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast
not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will
surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give
it to thy servant.
11-11:13 Howbeit
I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for
David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
11-11:31 And
he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of
Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of
the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
11-11:34 Howbeit
I will not take the whole kingdom out of his
hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my
servant’s sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
11-11:35 But
I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand,
and will give it unto thee, even ten
tribes.
11-12:21 And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with
the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were
warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
11-12:26 And
Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom
return to the house of David:
11-14:8 And
rent the kingdom away from the house of David,
and gave it thee: and yet thou hast
not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me
with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;
11-18:10 As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no
nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent
to seek thee: and when they said, He is not
there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.
11-21:7 And
Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the
vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
12-14:5 And
it came to pass, as soon as the kingdom was
confirmed in his hand, that he slew his servants which had slain the king his
father.
12-15:19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against
the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand
might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his
hand.
13-10:14 And
enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
13-11:10 These
also are the chief of the mighty men
whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with
all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning
Israel.
13-12:23 And
these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the
kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of
the LORD.
13-14:2 And
David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people
Israel.
13-16:20 And
when they went from nation to nation,
and from one kingdom
to another people;
13-17:11 And
it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will
raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish
his kingdom.
13-17:14 But
I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom
for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.
13-22:10 He
shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish
the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
13-28:5 And
of all my sons, (for the LORD hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon
my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of
the LORD over Israel.
13-28:7 Moreover
I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be
constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.
13-29:11 Thine,
O LORD, is the greatness, and the power,
and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above
all.
14-1:1 And
Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom,
and the LORD his God was with him,
and magnified him exceedingly.
14-2:1 And
Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and an house for
his kingdom.
14-2:12 Huram
said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God
of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise
son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the
LORD, and an house for his kingdom.
14-7:18 Then
will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according
as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a
man to be ruler in Israel.
14-9:19 And
twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps.
There was not the like made in any kingdom.
14-11:1 And
when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and
Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might

they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made
Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in
the way of David and Solomon.
14-12:1 And
it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom,
and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel
with him.
14-13:5 Ought
ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom
over Israel to David for ever, even to
him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
14-13:8 And
now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the
LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there
are with you golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.
14-14:5 Also
he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places and the images: and
the kingdom was quiet before him.
14-17:5 Therefore
the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and
all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in
abundance.
14-21:3 And
their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious
things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom
gave he to Jehoram; because he was the
firstborn.
14-21:4 Now
when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his
father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.
14-22:9 And
he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and
brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because,
said they, he is the son of
Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah
had no power to keep still the kingdom.
14-23:20 And
he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the
people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the
house of the LORD: and they came through the high gate into the king’s house,
and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.
14-25:3 Now
it came to pass, when the kingdom was
established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his
father.
14-29:21 And
they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he
goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and
for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of
Aaron to offer them on the altar of
the LORD.
14-32:15 Now
therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner,
neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom
was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my
fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?
14-33:13 And
prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and
brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom.
Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.
14-36:20 And
them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they
were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:

in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be
accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he
made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom,
and put it also in writing, saying,

they have not served thee in their kingdom, and
in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land
which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works.

Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom,
which was in Shushan the palace,

he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and
the honour of his excellent majesty many days, even and hundred and fourscore days.

let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the fair
young virgins unto Shushan the palace, to the house of the women, unto the
custody of Hege the king’s chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their
things for purification be given them:
17-3:6 And
he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the
people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
17-3:8 And
Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and
dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom;
and their laws are diverse from all
people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them.
17-4:14 For
if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from
another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who
knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for
such a time as this?
17-5:3 Then
said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given
thee to the half of the kingdom.
17-5:6 And
the king said unto Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.
17-7:2 And
the king said again unto Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? and it
shall be granted thee: and what is thy
request? and it shall be performed, even to
the half of the kingdom.
17-9:30 And
he sent the letters unto all the Jews, to the hundred twenty and seven
provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace and truth,

the LORD’S: and he is the
governor among the nations.

Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he
hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he
hath brought them down to the ground:
he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes
thereof.
26-16:13 Thus
wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat
fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou
didst prosper into a kingdom.
26-17:14 That
the kingdom might be base, that it might not
lift itself up, but that by keeping
of his covenant it might stand.
26-29:14 And
I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land
of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
27-2:37 Thou,
O king, art a king of kings: for the
God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power,
and strength, and glory.

after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior
to thee, and another third kingdom of brass,
which shall bear rule over all the earth.

the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron:
forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in
pieces and bruise.
27-2:41 And
whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron,
the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be
in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with
miry clay.
27-2:42 And
as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom
shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
27-2:44 And
in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume
all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
27-4:3 How
great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom is an
everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
27-4:17 This
matter is by the decree of the
watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the
living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom
of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest
of men.
27-4:18 This
dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the
interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to
make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.
27-4:25 That
they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of
the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet
thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou
know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of
men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
27-4:26 And
whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt
have known that the heavens do rule.
27-4:29 At
the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
27-4:30 The
king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the
house of the kingdom by the might of my power,
and for the honour of my majesty?
27-4:31 While
the word was in the king’s mouth,
there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O
king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom
is departed from thee.
27-4:32 And
they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat
grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the
most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and
giveth it to whomsoever he will.
27-4:34 And
at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and
mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised
and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom
is from generation to generation:
27-4:36 At
the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me;
and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.
27-5:7 The
king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the
soothsayers. And the king spake, and
said to the wise men of Babylon,
Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof,
shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a
chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-5:11 There
is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in
the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of
the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the
magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
27-5:16 And
I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve
doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the
interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and
shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-5:18 O
thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour:
27-5:21 And
he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and
his dwelling was with the wild asses:
they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven;
till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom
of men, and that he appointeth over
it whomsoever he will.
27-5:26 This
is the interpretation of the thing:
MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and
finished it.
27-5:28 PERES;
Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes
and Persians.
27-5:29 Then
commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and
made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
27-5:31 And
Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years
old.
27-6:1 It
pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an
hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
27-6:4 Then
the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning
the kingdom; but they could find none occasion
nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful,
neither was there any error or fault found in him.
27-6:7 All
the presidents of the kingdom, the governors,
and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to
establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask
a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be
cast into the den of lions.
27-6:26 I
make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom
men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which
shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall
be even unto the end.
27-7:14 And
there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom,
