01-3:5 For
God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then
your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
01-3:22 And
the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his
hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
01-4:9 And
the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel
thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto

spoken of him.

will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the
cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
01-19:5 And
they called unto
01-20:6 And
God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that
thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from
sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
01-20:7 Now
therefore restore the man his wife;
for he is a prophet, and he shall
pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt
surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
01-22:12 And
he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him:
for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing
thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son
from me.
01-24:14 And
let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher,
I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy
camels drink also: let the same be she
that thou hast appointed for thy
servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that
thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.
01-27:2 And
he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the
day of my death:
01-29:5 And
he said unto them, Know ye Laban the son of
Nahor? And they said, We know him.
01-31:6 And
ye know that with all my power I have served
your father.
01-37:32 And
they sent the coat of many colours,
and they brought it to their father;
and said, This have we found: know now whether
it be thy son’s coat or no.
01-42:33 And
the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are
true men; leave one of your
brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households,
and be gone:

bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know
that ye are no spies, but that ye are true men: so will I
deliver you your brother, and ye shall traffick in the land.

they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him
according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?

thy servant my father said unto us, Ye know that
my wife bare me two sons:

his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know
it: he also shall become a people,
and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than
he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
02-3:7 And
the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in

the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he
cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his
heart.
02-5:2 And
Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I
should obey his voice to let
02-6:7 And
I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the
LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
02-7:5 And
the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine
hand upon
02-7:17 Thus
saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with
the rod that is in mine hand upon the
waters which are in the river, and
they shall be turned to blood.
02-8:10 And
he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according
to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our
God.
02-8:22 And
I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no
swarms of flies shall be there; to
the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
02-9:14 For
I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy
servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know
that there is none like me in all the
earth.
02-9:29 And
Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad
my hands unto the LORD; and the
thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord’s.
02-9:30 But
as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye
will not yet fear the LORD God.
02-10:2 And
that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things
I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may
know how that I am the LORD.
02-10:26 Our
cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for
thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know
not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.
02-11:7 But
against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against
man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD
doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
02-14:4 And
I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be
honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the
LORD. And they did so.
02-14:18 And
the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me
honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
02-16:6 And
Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land
of Egypt:
02-16:12 I
have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying,
At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread;
and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
02-18:11 Now
I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt
proudly he was above them.
02-18:16 When
they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and
I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
02-23:9 Also
thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know
the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
02-29:46 And
they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of
Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the
LORD their God.
02-31:13 Speak
thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall
keep: for it is a sign between me and
you throughout your generations; that ye may
know that I am
the LORD that doth sanctify you.
02-33:5 For
the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up
into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy
ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do
unto thee.
02-33:12 And
Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and
thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send
with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by
name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
02-33:13 Now
therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy
way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace
in thy sight: and consider that this nation is
thy people.
02-33:17 And
the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for
thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know
thee by name.
02-36:1 Then
wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put
wisdom and understanding to know how to work all
manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD
had commanded.
03-23:43 That
your generations may know that I made the
children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of
Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
04-14:31 But
your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and
they shall know the land which ye have despised.
04-14:34 After
the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your
iniquities, even forty years, and ye
shall know my breach of promise.
04-16:28 And
Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD
hath sent me to do all these works; for I
have not done them of mine own mind.
04-22:19 Now
therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me more.
05-3:19 But
your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much
cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;
05-4:35 Unto
thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that
the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him.
05-4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the
earth beneath: there is none else.
05-7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth
covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a
thousand generations;
05-8:2 And
thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty
years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and
to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou
wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
05-8:3 And
he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which
thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know;
that he might make thee know that man doth not
live by bread only, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
05-11:2 And
know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have
not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand,
and his stretched out arm,
05-13:3 Thou
shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams:
for the LORD your God proveth you, to know
whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
05-18:21 And
if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know
the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
05-22:2 And
if thy brother be not nigh unto thee,
or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring
it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after
it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.
05-29:6 Ye
have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might
know that I am
the LORD your God.
05-29:16 (For
ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt;
and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
05-31:21 And
it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that
this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be
forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know
their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them
into the land which I sware.
05-31:27 For
I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck:
behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against
the LORD; and how much more after my death?
05-31:29 For
I know that after my death ye will utterly
corrupt yourselves, and turn aside
from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter
days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger
through the work of your hands.
06-2:9 And
she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath
given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the
inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
06-3:4 Yet
there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by
measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know
the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.
06-3:7 And
the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight
of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was
with Moses, so I will be with thee.
06-3:10 And
Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the
living God is among you, and that he will without fail drive out from
before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the
Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.
06-4:22 Then
ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel
came over this Jordan on dry land.
06-4:24 That
all the people of the earth might know the hand
of the LORD, that it is mighty: that
ye might fear the LORD your God for ever.
06-22:22 The
LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in
rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,)
06-23:13 Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no
more drive out any of these nations
from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in
your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land
which the LORD your God hath given you.
06-23:14 And,
behold, this day I am going the way
of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts
and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things
which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
07-3:2 Only
that the generations of the children of Israel might know,
to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
07-3:4 And
they were to prove Israel by them, to know
whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he
commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
07-6:37 Behold,
I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and
if the dew be on the fleece only, and it
be dry upon all the earth beside, then
shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine
hand, as thou hast said.
07-17:13 Then
said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me
good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
07-18:5 And
they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray thee, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.
07-18:14 Then
answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto
their brethren, Do ye know that there is in
these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image?
now therefore consider what ye have to do.
07-19:22 Now as they were making their hearts
merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house
round about, and beat at the door,
and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man
that came into thine house, that we may know
him.
08-3:11 And
now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all
the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
08-3:14 And
she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a
woman came into the floor.
08-3:18 Then
said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know
how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have
finished the thing this day.
08-4:4 And
I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it
before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt
redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there
is none to redeem it beside thee;
and I am after thee. And he said, I
will redeem it.
09-3:7 Now
Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was
the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
09-6:9 And
see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us this great evil:
but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us: it was a
chance that happened to us.
09-14:38 And
Saul said, Draw ye near hither, all the chief of the people: and know and see wherein this sin hath been this day.
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger
was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with
whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart;
for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-17:46 This
day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take
thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the
Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the
earth; that all the earth may know that there is
a God in Israel.
09-17:47 And
all this assembly shall know that the LORD
saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.
09-20:3 And
David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found
grace in thine eyes; and he saith, Let not Jonathan know
this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the
LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and
death.
09-20:30 Then
Saul’s anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of
the perverse rebellious woman, do not
I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to
thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother’s nakedness?
09-21:2 And
David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business,
and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing
of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I
have appointed my servants to such
and such a place.
09-22:3 And
David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my
father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what
God will do for me.
09-23:22 Go,
I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his
place where his haunt is, and who
hath seen him there: for it is told me that
he dealeth very subtilly.
09-24:11 Moreover,
my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut
off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know
thou and see that there is neither
evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet
thou huntest my soul to take it.

now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely
be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand.

I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my
shearers, and give it unto men, whom
I know not whence they be?

therefore know and consider what thou wilt do;
for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for
he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.
09-28:1 And
it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies
together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to
battle, thou and thy men.
09-28:2 And
David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know
what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee
keeper of mine head for ever.
09-29:9 And
Achish answered and said to David, I know that
thou art good in my sight, as an
angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He
shall not go up with us to the battle.
10-3:25 Thou
knowest Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive thee, and to know thy going out and thy coming in, and to know all that thou doest.

the king said unto his servants, Know ye not
that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel?

it shall be, that on the day thou
goest out, and passest over the brook Kidron, thou shalt know for certain that thou shalt surely die: thy blood
shall be upon thine own head.

the king sent and called for Shimei, and said unto him, Did I not make thee to
swear by the LORD, and protested unto thee, saying, Know
for a certain, on the day thou goest out, and walkest abroad any whither, that
thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst unto me, The word that I have heard is good.

now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father:
and I am but a little child: I know not how to
go out or come in.

prayer and supplication soever be made by
any man, or by all thy people Israel,
which shall know every man the plague of his own
heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
11-8:43 Hear
thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger
calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know
thy name, to fear thee, as do thy
people Israel; and that they may know that this
house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

all the people of the earth may know that the
LORD is God, and that there is none else.

mouth is truth.

LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into

saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is
not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude
into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know
ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and
we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
12-2:3 And
the sons of the prophets that were at
Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will
take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold
ye your peace.
12-2:5 And
the sons of the prophets that were at
Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take
away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold
ye your peace.
12-5:8 And
it was so, when Elisha the man of God
had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the
king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and
he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
12-5:15 And
he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood
before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that
there is no God in all the earth, but
in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
12-7:12 And
the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you
what the Syrians have done to us. They know that
we be hungry; therefore are they gone
out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of
the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
12-8:12 And
Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of
Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou
slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with
child.
12-9:11 Then
Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all
well? wherefore came this mad fellow to
thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man,
and his communication.
12-10:10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing
of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for
the LORD hath done that which he
spake by his servant Elijah.
12-17:26 Wherefore
they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed,
and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not
the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them,
and, behold, they slay them, because they know
not the manner of the God of the land.
12-19:19 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that
all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou
art the LORD God, even thou only.
12-19:27 But
I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy
coming in, and thy rage against me.

of the children of Issachar, which were
men that had understanding of the times, to know
what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were
two hundred; and all their brethren were
at their commandment.

David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from
Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy
father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the
LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the
thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him,
he will cast thee off for ever.

know also, my God, that thou triest the heart,
and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I
have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy
people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
14-2:8 Send
me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in
Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall
be with thy servants,
14-6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all thy
people Israel, when every one shall know his own
sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
14-6:33 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee
for; that all people of the earth may know thy
name, and fear thee, as doth thy
people Israel, and may know that this house
which I have built is called by thy name.
14-12:8 Nevertheless
they shall be his servants; that they may know
my service, and the service of the kingdoms of the countries.
14-13:5 Ought
ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave

our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great
company that cometh against us; neither know we
what to do: but our eyes are upon
thee.

kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they
shall bow down to thee with their face
toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the
LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be
drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning
by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have
I set my face like a flint, and I know that I
shall not be ashamed.

unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people
in whose heart is my law; fear ye not
the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

LORD, nor the judgment of their God.

have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that

they bend their tongues like their
bow for lies: but they are not
valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and
they know not me, saith the LORD.
24-9:6 Thine
habitation is in the midst of deceit;
through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the
LORD.
24-10:23 O
LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
24-10:25 Pour
out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not,
and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob,
and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and
I know it:
then thou shewedst me their doings.

thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every
bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not
certainly know that every bottle shall be filled
with wine?

I go forth into the field, then behold the slain with the sword! and if I enter
into the city, then behold them that are sick with famine! yea, both the
prophet and the priest go about into a land that they know
not.

LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my
persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know
that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
24-16:13 Therefore
will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know
not, neither ye nor your fathers; and
there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you
favour.
24-16:21 Therefore,
behold, I will this once cause them to know, I
will cause them to know mine hand and my might;
and they shall know that my name is The LORD.

heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not
this to know me? saith the LORD.
24-22:28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken
idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast
out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people,
and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death,
ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and
upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to
speak all these words in your ears.

saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected

thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of

they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their
neighbours’ wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not
commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD.

they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother,
saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of
them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember
their sin no more.
24-36:19 Then
said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be.

said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of
these words, and thou shalt not die.

Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay
thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.

Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, Let me
go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall
know it: wherefore
should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be
scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?
24-42:19 The
LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.
24-42:22 Now
therefore know certainly that ye shall die by
the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire
to go and to sojourn.
24-44:28 Yet
a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into
the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of
Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words
shall stand, mine, or theirs.

this shall be a sign unto you, saith
the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for
evil:

ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know
his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!

know his wrath, saith the LORD; but it shall not be so; his lies shall not so effect it.

they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them,

zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know
that I am the LORD.

have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men
shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill,
in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every
thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
26-6:14 So
will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more
desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they
shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:4 And
mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense
thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and
ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:9 And
mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee
according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD
that smiteth.
26-7:27 The
king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the
hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after
their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-11:5 And
the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the
LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know
the things that come into your mind, every
one of them.
26-11:10 Ye
shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall
know that I am
the LORD.
26-11:12 And
ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither
executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
26-12:15 And
they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse
them in the countries.
26-12:16 But
I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the
pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen
whither they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-12:20 And
the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be
desolate; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they
shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the
writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of
Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground,
so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye
shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know
that I am the LORD.

kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they
shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.

ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my

they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards;
yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all
those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD their God.

all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a
staff of reed to the house of Israel.

the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the
LORD: because he hath said, The river is mine,
and I have made it.

it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they

that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will

that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then

shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all
their abominations which they have committed.

when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the

thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was
desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all
Idumea, even all of it: and they
shall know that I am the LORD.

I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring
fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye
shall know that I am the LORD.

I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye
have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

the heathen that are left round about you shall know
that I the LORD build the ruined places,
and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the
waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the
LORD.

I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you
with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.

ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and
brought you up out of your graves,

shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your
own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD

the heathen shall know that I the LORD do
sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
26-38:14 Therefore,
son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when
my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know

thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land;
it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the
heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified

went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me,
therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their

shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity
among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left
none of them any more there.

the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

king answered and said, I know of certainty that
ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.

if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and
corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me
the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me
the interpretation thereof.

he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:
he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the
interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know
the thoughts of thy heart.
27-4:9 O
Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know
that the spirit of the holy gods is in
thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have
seen, and the interpretation thereof.
27-4:17 This
matter is by the decree of the
watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the
living may know that the most High ruleth in the
kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the
basest of men.
27-4:25 That
they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of
the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet

king establisheth may be changed.

came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this.
So he told me, and made me know the
interpretation of the things.
27-7:19 Then
I would know the truth of the fourth beast,
which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his
feet;
27-8:19 And
he said, Behold, I will make thee know what
shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
27-9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to
build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall
be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built
again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but
the people that do know their God shall be
strong, and do exploits.

she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine,
and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.

will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.

thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God

when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

as touching things offered unto idols, we know that
we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought
to know.

concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice
unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.

when we love God, and keep his commandments.

know thy works and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and
hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain
among you, where Satan dwelleth.
66-2:19 I
know thy works, and charity, and service, and
faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
66-2:23 And
I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and
hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
66-3:1 And
unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath
the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know
thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
66-3:3 Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If
therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt
not know what hour I will come upon thee.
66-3:8 I
know thy works: behold, I have set before thee
an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast
kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
66-3:9 Behold,
I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are
not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet,
and to know that I have loved thee.
66-3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I
would thou wert cold or hot.
