_______________________________________________________________________
01-2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of
the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD
God made the earth and the heavens,
01-2:5 And
every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the
field before it grew: for the LORD God had not
caused it to rain upon the earth, and there
was not a man to till the ground.
01-2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul.
01-2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there
he put the man whom he had formed.
01-2:9 And out
of the ground made the LORD God to grow every
tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in
the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
01-2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of
Eden to dress it and to keep it.
01-2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of
the garden thou mayest freely eat:
01-2:18 And the LORD God said, It
is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for
him.
01-2:19 And out
of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of
the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam
called every living creature, that was the
name thereof.
01-2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he
slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
01-2:22 And the
rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made
he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
01-3:1 Now the
serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea,
hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every
tree of the garden?
01-3:8 And they
heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the
garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the
presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of
the garden.
01-3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
01-3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and
I did eat.
01-3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done
this, thou art cursed above all
cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and
dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
01-3:21 Unto Adam
also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats
of skins, and clothed them.
01-3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us,
to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of
the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
01-3:23 Therefore
the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden,
to till the ground from whence he was taken.
01-9:26 And he
said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
01-15:2 And Abram
said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I
go childless, and the steward of my house is
this Eliezer of Damascus?
01-15:8 And he
said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I
shall inherit it?
01-24:7 The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father’s
house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware
unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel
before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.
01-24:12 And he
said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray
thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.
01-24:27 And he
said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left
destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led
me to the house of my master’s brethren.
01-24:42 And I came
this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of
my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go:
01-24:48 And I
bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD,
and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham,
which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto
his son.
01-28:13 And,
behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I
am the LORD
God of Abraham thy father, and the God
of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
02-3:15 And God
said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God
of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
02-3:16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel
together, and say unto them, The LORD God of
your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac,
and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
02-3:18 And they shall hearken to thy voice:
and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and
ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the
Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’
journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.
02-4:5 That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of
Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared
unto thee.
02-5:1 And afterward Moses and Aaron went
in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
02-7:16 And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee,
saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and,
behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.
02-9:1 Then the LORD
said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they
may serve me.
02-9:13 And the LORD
said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and
say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the
Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
02-9:30 But as for thee and thy servants, I
know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God.
02-10:3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto
Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God
of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my
people go, that they may serve me.
02-23:17 Three times in the year all thy males
shall appear before the Lord GOD.
02-32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the
LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by
his side, and go in and out from gate
to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his
companion, and every man his neighbour.
02-34:6 And the LORD
passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD,
The LORD God, merciful and gracious,
longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
02-34:23 Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren
appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.
05-1:11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so
many more as ye are, and bless you,
as he hath promised you!)
05-1:21 Behold,
the LORD thy God
hath set the land before thee: go up and possess
it, as the LORD
God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be
discouraged.
05-3:24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy
greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God
is there in heaven or in earth, that
can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
05-4:1 Now
therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I
teach you, for to do them, that ye
may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD
God of your fathers giveth you.
05-6:3 Hear
therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it;
that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the
land that floweth with milk and honey.
05-9:26 I prayed
therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine
inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast
brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
05-12:1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye
shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God
of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
05-26:7 And when
we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our
affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
05-27:3 And thou
shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over,
that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth
with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy
fathers hath promised thee.
05-29:25 Then men
shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them
when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
06-7:7 And
Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast
thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the
Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had
been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
06-7:13 Up,
sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst
of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take
away the accursed thing from among you.
06-7:19 And
Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and
tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not
from me.
06-7:20 And Achan
answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
06-8:30 Then
Joshua built an altar unto the LORD God of
Israel in mount Ebal,
06-9:18 And the children
of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn
unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the
congregation murmured against the princes.
06-9:19 But all the
princes said unto all the congregation, We have sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel: now therefore we may not touch
them.
06-10:40 So Joshua
smote all the country of the hills, and of the south, and of the vale, and of
the springs, and all their kings: he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed
all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel
commanded.
06-10:42 And all
these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.
06-13:14 Only unto
the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
06-13:33 But unto
the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance:
the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
06-14:14 Hebron therefore
became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this
day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God
of Israel.
06-18:3 And
Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
06-22:22 The LORD God of gods, the LORD God
of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,)
06-22:24 And if we
have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your
children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
06-24:2 And
Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD
God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old
time, even Terah, the father of
Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
06-24:23 Now
therefore put away, said he, the
strange gods which are among you, and
incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
07-2:12 And
they forsook the LORD God of their fathers,
which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods
of the people that were round about
them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD
to anger.
07-4:6 And
she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said
unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel
commanded, saying, Go and draw toward
mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali
and of the children of Zebulun?
07-5:3 Hear,
O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even
I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD
God of Israel.
07-5:5 The
mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
07-6:8 That
the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of
Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God
of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house
of bondage;
07-6:22 And
when Gideon perceived that he was an
angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.
07-11:21 And
the LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all
his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed
all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.
07-11:23 So
now the LORD God of Israel hath dispossessed the
Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou possess it?
07-16:28 And
Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me,
I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I
may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
07-21:3 And
said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass
in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
08-2:12 The
LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward
be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under
whose wings thou art come to trust.
09-2:30 Wherefore
the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy
father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD
saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that
despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
09-6:20 And
the men of Bethshemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? and to whom shall he go up from us?
09-10:18 And
said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD
God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out
of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:
09-14:41 Therefore
Saul said unto the LORD God of Israel, Give a
perfect lot. And Saul and Jonathan
were taken: but the people escaped.
09-20:12 And
Jonathan said unto David, O LORD God of Israel,
when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time, or the third day, and,
behold, if there be good toward
David, and I then send not unto thee, and shew it thee;
09-23:10 Then
said David, O LORD God of Israel, thy servant
hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city
for my sake.
09-23:11 Will
the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy
servant hath heard? O LORD God of Israel, I
beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD
said, He will come down.
09-25:32 And
David said to Abigail, Blessed be the
LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to
meet me:
09-25:34 For
in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back
from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there
had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the
wall.
10-5:10 And
David went on, and grew great, and the LORD God
of hosts was with him.
10-7:18 Then
went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and
he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is
my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
10-7:19 And
this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD;
but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come. And
is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?
10-7:20 And
what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD,
knowest thy servant.
10-7:22 Wherefore
thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God
beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
10-7:25 And
now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning
thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.
10-7:28 And
now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be
true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
10-7:29 Therefore
now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue
for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast
spoken it: and with thy blessing let
the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.
10-12:7 And
Nathan said to David, Thou art the
man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I
anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
11-1:30 Even
as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel,
saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my
throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.
11-1:36 And
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord
the king say so too.
11-1:48 And
also thus said the king, Blessed be the
LORD God of Israel, which hath given one to sit on my throne this day, mine
eyes even seeing it.
11-2:26 And
unto Abiathar the priest said the king, Get thee to Anathoth, unto thine own
fields; for thou art worthy of death:
but I will not at this time put thee to death, because thou barest the ark of
the Lord GOD before David my father, and because
thou hast been afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
11-8:15 And
he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto
David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
11-8:17 And
it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
11-8:20 And
the LORD hath performed his word that he
spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne
of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have
built an house for the name of the LORD God of
Israel.
11-8:23 And
he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God
like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy
with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
11-8:25 Therefore
now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant
David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a
man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed
to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
11-8:53 For
thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest
by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of
Egypt, O Lord GOD.
11-11:9 And
the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his
heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel,
which had appeared unto him twice,
11-14:7 Go,
tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince
over my people Israel,
11-14:13 And
all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall
come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God
of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.
11-15:30 Because
of the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and which he made Israel sin, by his
provocation wherewith he provoked the LORD God of
Israel to anger.
11-16:13 For
all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and
by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD
God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
11-16:26 For
he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith
he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God
of Israel to anger with their vanities.
11-16:33 And
Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD
God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before
him.
11-17:1 And
Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the
inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As
the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I
stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
11-17:14 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of
meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD
sendeth rain upon the earth.
11-18:36 And
it came to pass at the time of the
offering of the evening sacrifice,
that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God
of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God
in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.
11-18:37 Hear
me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may
know that thou art the LORD God, and that
thou hast turned their heart back again.
11-19:10 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God
of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down
thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my
life, to take it away.
11-19:14 And
he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God
of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown
down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my
life, to take it away.
11-22:53 For
he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father
had done.
12-2:14 And
he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and
said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the
waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
12-9:6 And
he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said
unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I
have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD,
even over Israel.
12-10:31 But
Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God
of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam,
which made Israel to sin.
12-14:25 He
restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the
plain, according to the word of the LORD God of
Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of Amittai,
the prophet, which was of Gathhepher.
12-18:5 He
trusted in the LORD God of Israel; so that after
him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.
12-19:15 And
Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O
LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou
alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
12-19:19 Now
therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand,
that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.
12-19:20 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of
Assyria I have heard.
12-21:12 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it,
both his ears shall tingle.
12-21:22 And
he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and
walked not in the way of the LORD.
12-22:15 And
she said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,
12-22:18 But
to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD,
thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God
of Israel, As touching the words
which thou hast heard;
13-15:12 And
said unto them, Ye are the chief of the
fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.
13-15:14 So
the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.
13-16:4 And
he appointed certain of the Levites
to minister before the ark of the LORD, and
to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God
of Israel:
13-16:36 Blessed
be the LORD
God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and
praised the LORD.
13-17:16 And
David the king came and sat before the LORD,
and said, Who am I, O LORD God, and what is
mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
13-17:17 And
yet this was a small thing in thine
eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken of thy servant’s house for a
great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of
high degree, O LORD God.
13-22:1 Then
David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is
the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
13-22:6 Then
he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.
13-22:19 Now
set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD
your God; arise therefore, and build ye the
sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of
the covenant of the LORD, and the holy
vessels of God, into the house that is to be
built to the name of the LORD.
13-23:25 For
David said, The LORD God of Israel hath given
rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
13-24:19 These
were the orderings of them in their
service to come into the house of the LORD,
according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
13-28:4 Howbeit
the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the
house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of
Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to
make me king over all Israel:
13-29:1 Furthermore
David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not
for man, but for the LORD God.
13-29:10 Wherefore
David blessed the LORD before all the
congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou,
LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and
ever.
13-28:20 And
David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my
God, will
be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast
finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
13-29:18 O
LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our
fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of
thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
13-29:20 And
David said to all the congregation, Now bless the LORD
your God. And all the congregation blessed
the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed down
their heads, and worshipped the LORD, and
the king.
14-1:9 Now,
O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father
be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the
earth in multitude.
14-2:12 Huram
said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath
given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding,
that might build an house for the LORD, and
an house for his kingdom.
14-6:4 And
he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my
father David, saying,
14-6:7 Now
it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
14-6:10 The
LORD therefore hath performed his word that
he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on
the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised,
and have built the house for the name of the LORD God
of Israel.
14-6:14 And
said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the
heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all
their hearts:
14-6:16 Now
therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy
servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall
not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that
thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked
before me.
14-6:17 Now
then, O LORD God of Israel, let thy word be
verified, which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David.
14-6:41 Now
therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting
place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints
rejoice in goodness.
14-6:42 O
LORD God, turn not away the face of thine
anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.
14-7:22 And
it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God
of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid
hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he
brought all this evil upon them.
14-11:16 And
after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the
LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to
sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.
14-13:5 Ought
ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave
the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even
to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
14-13:12 And,
behold, God himself is with us for our captain,
and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of
Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of
your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.
14-13:18 Thus
the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of
Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the LORD God
of their fathers.
14-14:4 And
commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers,
and to do the law and the commandment.
14-15:4 But
when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God
of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.
14-15:12 And
they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God
of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
14-15:13 That
whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel
should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
14-17:4 But
sought to the LORD
God of his father, and walked in his
commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
14-19:4 And
Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from
Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.
14-20:6 And
said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God
in heaven? and rulest not thou over
all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand
thee?
14-20:19 And
the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the
Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of
Israel with a loud voice on high.
14-21:10 So
the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time
also did Libnah revolt from under his
hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of
his fathers.
14-21:12 And
there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not
walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of
Judah,
14-24:18 And
they left the house of the LORD God of their
fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem
for this their trespass.
14-24:24 For
the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and the LORD delivered a very great host into their hand,
because they had forsaken the LORD God of their
fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
14-26:18 And
they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that
are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast
trespassed; neither shall it be for
thine honour from the LORD God.
14-28:6 For
Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one
day, which were all valiant men;
because they had forsaken the LORD God of their
fathers.
14-28:9 But
a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the
host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath
delivered them into your hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that reacheth up unto heaven.
14-28:25 And
in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other
gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his
fathers.
14-29:5 And
said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the
house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry
forth the filthiness out of the holy place.
14-29:10 Now
it is in mine heart to make a
covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his
fierce wrath may turn away from us.
14-30:1 And
Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and
Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD
at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God
of Israel.
14-30:5 So
they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from
Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done
it of a long time in such sort as it was written.
14-30:6 So
the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all
Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye
children of Israel, turn again unto the LORD God
of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that
are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
14-30:7 And
be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against
the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to
desolation, as ye see.
14-30:19 That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God
of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification
of the sanctuary.
14-30:22 And
Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge
of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the
feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.
14-32:16 And
his servants spake yet more against
the LORD God, and against his servant Hezekiah.
14-32:17 He
wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of
Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their
people out of mine hand, so shall not the God
of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.
14-33:16 And
he repaired the altar of the LORD, and
sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to
serve the LORD God of Israel.
14-33:18 Now
the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him
in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold,
they are written in the book of the
kings of Israel.
14-34:23 And
she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me,
14-34:26 And
as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall ye say unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel concerning
the words which thou hast heard;
14-36:13 And
he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his
heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
14-36:15 And
the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by
his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on
his people, and on his dwelling place:
14-36:23 Thus
saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to
build him an house in Jerusalem, which is
in Judah. Who is there among you
of all his people? The LORD his God be with
him, and let him go up.
15-1:2 Thus
saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of
heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to
build him an house at Jerusalem, which is
in Judah.
15-1:3 Who
is there among you of all his people?
his God be with him, and let him go up to
Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and
build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,)
which is in Jerusalem.
15-4:1 Now
when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the
captivity builded the temple unto the LORD God
of Israel;
15-4:3 But
Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said
unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the
LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of
Persia hath commanded us.
15-6:21 And
the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as
had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the
land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
15-7:6 This
Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a
ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God
of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the
hand of the LORD his God upon him.
15-7:27 Blessed
be the LORD
God of our fathers, which hath put such
a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is
in Jerusalem:
15-8:28 And
I said unto them, Ye are holy unto
the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God
of your fathers.
15-9:15 O
LORD God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are
before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of
this.
15-10:11 Now
therefore make confession unto the LORD God of
your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of
the land, and from the strange wives.
16-1:5 And
said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the
great and terrible God, that keepeth
covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:
19-31:5 Into
thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
19-41:13 Blessed
be the LORD
God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
19-59:5 Thou
therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be
not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
19-68:18 Thou
hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received
gifts for men; yea, for the
rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
19-69:6 Let
not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts,
be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake,
O God of Israel.
19-71:5 For
thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou
art my trust from my youth.
19-71:16 I
will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will
make mention of thy righteousness, even of
thine only.
19-72:18 Blessed
be the LORD
God, the God of Israel, who only
doeth wondrous things.
19-73:28 But
it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
19-80:4 O
LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry
against the prayer of thy people?
19-80:19 Turn
us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to
shine; and we shall be saved.
19-84:8 O
LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
19-84:11 For
the LORD God is
a sun and shield: the LORD will give
grace and glory: no good thing will
he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
19-88:1 O
LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:
19-89:8 O
LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee?
or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
19-94:1 O
LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
19-106:48 Blessed
be the LORD
God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people
say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
23-3:15 What
mean ye that ye beat my people to
pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord
GOD of hosts.
23-7:7 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither
shall it come to pass.
23-10:23 For
the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption,
even determined, in the midst of all the land.
23-10:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that
dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a
rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
23-17:6 Yet
gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the
uppermost bough, four or five in the
outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God
of Israel.
23-21:17 And
the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar,
shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel
hath spoken it.
23-22:5 For
it is a day of trouble, and of
treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD
of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the
mountains.
23-22:12 And
in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to
weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
23-22:14 And
it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of
hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the
Lord GOD of hosts.
23-22:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto
this treasurer, even unto Shebna,
which is over the house, and say,
23-24:15 Wherefore
glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
23-25:8 He
will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD
will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he
take away from off all the earth: for the LORD
hath spoken it.
23-28:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion
for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
23-28:22 Now
therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard
from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even
determined upon the whole earth.
23-30:15 For
thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel;
In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall
be your strength: and ye would not.
23-37:21 Then
Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me
against Sennacherib king of Assyria:
23-40:10 Behold,
the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him:
behold, his reward is with him, and
his work before him.
23-48:16 Come
ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
from the time that it was, there am I:
and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent
me.
23-49:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine
hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall
bring thy sons in their arms, and thy
daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
23-50:4 The
Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the
learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning
by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
23-50:5 The
Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not
rebellious, neither turned away back.
23-50:7 For
the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not
be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I
shall not be ashamed.
23-50:9 Behold,
the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the
moth shall eat them up.
23-52:4 For
thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down
aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without
cause.
23-56:8 The
Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel
saith, Yet will I gather others to
him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
23-61:1 The
spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD
hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind
up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of
the prison to them that are bound;
23-61:11 For
as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that
are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD
will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
23-65:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants
shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye
shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
23-65:15 And
ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by
another name:
24-1:6 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak:
for I am a child.
24-2:19 Thine
own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee:
know therefore and see that it is an
evil thing and bitter, that thou hast
forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD
of hosts.
24-2:22 For
though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much sope, yet thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.
24-4:10 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly
deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the
sword reacheth unto the soul.
24-5:14 Wherefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye
speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this
people wood, and it shall devour them.
24-7:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and
my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon
the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn,
and shall not be quenched.
24-11:3 And
say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel; Cursed be the man that
obeyeth not the words of this covenant,
24-13:12 Therefore
thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD
God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall
say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with
wine?
24-14:13 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say
unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will
give you assured peace in this place.
24-15:16 Thy
words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and
rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
24-21:4 Thus
saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will
turn back the weapons of war that are in
your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you
without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.
24-23:2 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the
pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away,
and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your
doings, saith the LORD.
24-25:15 For
thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take
the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send
thee, to drink it.
24-30:2 Thus
speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write
thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
24-32:17 Ah
Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and
the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
24-32:25 And
thou hast said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy thee the
field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the
Chaldeans.
24-35:17 Therefore
thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and
upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced
against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I
have called unto them, but they have not answered.
24-44:26 Therefore
hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that
dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the
mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.
24-46:10 For
this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may
avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be
satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord
GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river
Euphrates.
24-49:5 Behold,
I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord GOD
of hosts, from all those that be about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man
right forth; and none shall gather up him that wandereth.
24-50:25 The
LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath
brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts
in the land of the Chaldeans.
24-50:31 Behold,
I am against thee, O thou most proud, saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee.
24-51:56 Because
the spoiler is come upon her, even upon
Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for
the LORD God of recompenses shall surely
requite.
26-2:4 For
they are impudent children and
stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus
saith the Lord GOD.
26-3:11 And
go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and
speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
26-3:27 But
when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let
him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
26-4:14 Then
said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been
polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which
dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into
my mouth.
26-5:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and
countries that are round about her.
26-5:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied
more than the nations that are round
about you, and have not walked in my
statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the
judgments of the nations that are round
about you;
26-5:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute
judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
26-5:11 Wherefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary
with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will
I also diminish thee; neither shall
mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
26-6:3 And
say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord
GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the
mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and
I will destroy your high places.
26-6:11 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and
stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house
of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the
pestilence.
26-7:2 Also,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto
the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
26-7:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil,
behold, is come.
26-8:1 And
it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of
the month, as I sat in mine house,
and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
26-9:8 And
it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon
my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt
thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
26-11:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have
laid in the midst of it, they are the
flesh, and this city is the caldron:
but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
26-11:8 Ye
have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-11:13 And
it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then
fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of
Israel?
26-11:16 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast
them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the
countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where
they shall come.
26-11:17 Therefore
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather
you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been
scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
26-11:21 But
as for them whose heart walketh after
the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense
their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.
26-12:10 Say
thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This
burden concerneth the prince in
Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are
among them.
26-12:19 And
say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord
GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and
of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and
drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all
that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will
make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in
Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every
vision.
26-12:25 For
I am the LORD:
I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be
no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word,
and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-12:28 Therefore
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There
shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken
shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:3 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish
prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
26-13:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken
vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am
against you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:9 And
mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies:
they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written
in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land
of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the
Lord GOD.
26-13:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there
shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
26-13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which
prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:18 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes,
and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt
the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
26-13:20 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye
there hunt the souls to make them fly,
and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
26-14:4 Therefore
speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his
heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and
cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will
answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;
26-14:6 Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Repent, and turn yourselves from your
idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
26-14:11 That
the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more
with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be
their God, saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:14 Though
these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their
righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
26-14:16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall
deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land
shall be desolate.
26-14:18 Though
these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor
daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.
26-14:20 Though
Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter;
they shall but deliver their own
souls by their righteousness.
26-14:21 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I
send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the
noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
26-14:23 And
they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall
know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-15:6 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among
the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I
give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
26-15:8 And
I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-16:3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy
birth and thy nativity is of the land
of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite,
and thy mother an Hittite.
26-16:8 Now
when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my
skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered
into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD,
and thou becamest mine.
26-16:14 And
thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which
I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:19 My
meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set
it before them for a sweet savour: and thus
it was, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:23 And
it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;)
26-16:30 How
weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing
thou doest all these things, the work
of an imperious whorish woman;
26-16:36 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was
poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers,
and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children,
which thou didst give unto them;
26-16:43 Because
thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all
these things; behold, therefore I
also will recompense thy way upon thine head,
saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit
this lewdness above all thine abominations.
26-16:48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her
daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
26-16:59 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee
as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.
26-16:63 That
thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more
because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast
done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-17:3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with
great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto
Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
26-17:9 Say
thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper?
shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it
wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great
power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof.
26-17:16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that
made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he
shall die.
26-17:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that
he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.
26-17:22 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the
highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one,
and will plant it upon an high
mountain and eminent:
26-18:3 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
26-18:9 Hath
walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the
Lord GOD.
26-18:23 Have
I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not
that he should return from his ways, and live?
26-18:30 Therefore
I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the
Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be
your ruin.
26-18:32 For
I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
26-20:3 Son
of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you.
26-20:5 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the
day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of
Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up
mine hand unto them, saying, I am the
LORD your God;
26-20:27 Therefore,
son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me,
in that they have committed a trespass against me.
26-20:30 Wherefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after
their abominations?
26-20:31 For
when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye
pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be
enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As
I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be
enquired of by you.
26-20:33 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a
stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
26-20:36 Like
as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will
I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD;
Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name
no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
26-20:40 For
in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of
them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require
your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy
things.
26-20:44 And
ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for my name’s
sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings,
O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
26-20:47 And
say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a
fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree:
the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the
north shall be burned therein.
26-20:49 Then
said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not
speak parables?
26-21:7 And
it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt
answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all
hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be
weak as water: behold, it cometh, and
shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:13 Because
it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall
be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:24 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made
your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so
that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the
hand.
26-21:26 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take
off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him
that is high.
26-21:28 And
thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord
GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say
thou, The sword, the sword is drawn:
for the slaughter it is furbished, to
consume because of the glittering:
26-22:3 Then
say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city
sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against
herself to defile herself.
26-22:12 In
thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase,
and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast
forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
26-22:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all
become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
26-22:28 And
her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus
saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
26-22:31 Therefore
have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the
fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
26-23:22 Therefore,
O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will
raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will
bring them against thee on every side;
26-23:28 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver
thee into the hand of them whom thou
hatest, into the hand of them from
whom thy mind is alienated:
26-23:32 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy
sister’s cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in
derision; it containeth much.
26-23:34 Thou
shalt even drink it and suck it out,
and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I
have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-23:35 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy
lewdness and thy whoredoms.
26-23:46 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a
company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.
26-23:49 And
they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of
your idols: and ye shall know that I am the
Lord GOD.
26-24:3 And
utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
26-24:6 Wherefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city,
to the pot whose scum is therein, and
whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall
upon it.
26-24:9 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city!
I will even make the pile for fire great.
26-24:14 I
the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I
repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge
thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:21 Speak
unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the
desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your
daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
26-24:24 Thus
Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and
when this cometh, ye shall know that I am
the Lord GOD.
26-25:3 And
say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst,
Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of
Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went
into captivity;
26-25:6 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
clapped thine hands, and stamped with
the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of
Israel;
26-25:8 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir
do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like
unto all the heathen;
26-25:12 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt
against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and
revenged himself upon them;
26-25:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out
mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it
desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
26-25:14 And
I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they
shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall
know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
26-25:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have
dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
26-25:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch
out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and
destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause
many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26-26:5 It
shall be a place for the spreading of
nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall
become a spoil to the nations.
26-26:7 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring
upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north,
with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much
people.
26-26:14 And
I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the
LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-26:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles
shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is
made in the midst of thee?
26-26:19 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee
a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up
the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;
26-26:21 I
will make thee a terror, and thou shalt
be no more: though thou be sought
for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-27:3 And
say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for
many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus,
thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.
26-28:2 Son
of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Because thine heart is lifted
up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in
the seat of God, in the midst of the
seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
26-28:6 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set
thine heart as the heart of God;
26-28:10 Thou
shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have
spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-28:12 Son
of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum,
full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
26-28:22 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be
glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have
executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
26-28:24 And
there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised
them; and they shall know that I am the
Lord GOD.
26-28:25 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the
house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be
sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their
land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
26-29:3 Speak,
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt,
the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My
river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
26-29:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a
sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee.
26-29:13 Yet
thus saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty
years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered:
26-29:16 And
it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they
shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-29:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the
land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude,
and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
26-29:20 I
have given him the land of Egypt for his
labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD.
26-30:2 Son
of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
26-30:6 Thus
saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt
shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene
shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-30:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the
multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
26-30:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the
idols, and I will cause their images to
cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt:
and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
26-30:22 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and
will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause
the sword to fall out of his hand.
26-31:10 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast
lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick
boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;
26-31:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down
to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained
the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to
mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
26-31:18 To
whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet
shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the
earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-32:3 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out
my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in
my net.
26-32:8 All
the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon
thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:11 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king
of Babylon shall come upon thee.
26-32:14 Then
will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-32:16 This
is the lamentation wherewith they
shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall
lament for her, even for Egypt, and
for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:31 Pharaoh
shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by
the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:32 For
I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the
midst of the uncircumcised with them that
are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh
and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-33:11 Say
unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the
wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from
your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
26-33:25 Wherefore
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat
with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and
shall ye possess the land?
26-33:27 Say
thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the
sword, and him that is in the open
field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall
die of the pestilence.
26-34:2 Son
of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them,
Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do
feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
26-34:8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and
my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my
flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;
26-34:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will
require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock;
neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my
flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
26-34:11 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and
seek them out.
26-34:15 I
will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.
26-34:17 And
as for you, O my flock, thus saith
the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and
cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
26-34:20 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat
cattle and between the lean cattle.
26-34:30 Thus
shall they know that I the LORD their God am with
them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.
26-34:31 And
ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are
men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.
26-35:3 And
say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O
mount Seir, I am against thee, and I
will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
26-35:6 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood
shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue
thee.
26-35:11 Therefore,
as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and
according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them;
and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:14 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth
rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
26-36:2 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said
against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
26-36:3 Therefore
prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because they have made you desolate,
and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue
of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
26-36:4 Therefore,
ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD;
Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to
the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to
the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue
of the heathen that are round about;
26-36:5 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of
my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all
Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to
cast it out for a prey.
26-36:6 Prophesy
therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the
hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in
my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
26-36:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine
hand, Surely the heathen that are about
you, they shall bear their shame.
26-36:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you,
Thou land devourest up men, and hast
bereaved thy nations;
26-36:14 Therefore
thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:15 Neither
will I cause men to hear in thee the
shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the
people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-36:22 Therefore
say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
I do not this for your sakes, O house
of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the
heathen, whither ye went.
26-36:23 And
I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye
have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD,
saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified
in you before their eyes.
26-36:32 Not
for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and
confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
26-36:33 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have
cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
26-36:37 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of
Israel, to do it for them; I will
increase them with men like a flock.
26-37:3 And
he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
26-37:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I
will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
26-37:9 Then
said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the
wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four
winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
26-37:12 Therefore
prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of
your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
26-37:19 Say
unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I
will take the stick of Joseph, which is in
the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them
with him, even with the stick of
Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
26-37:21 And
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I
will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone,
and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
26-38:3 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince
of Meshech and Tubal:
26-38:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come
into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
26-38:14 Therefore,
son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou
not know it?
26-38:17 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the
prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
26-38:18 And
it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of
Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
26-38:21 And
I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his
brother.
26-39:1 Therefore,
thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
26-39:5 Thou
shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:8 Behold,
it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD;
this is the day whereof I have
spoken.
26-39:10 So
that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall
burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and
rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:13 Yea,
all the people of the land shall bury them;
and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-39:17 And,
thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak
unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble
yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do
sacrifice for you, even a great
sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-39:20 Thus
ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and
with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:25 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the
captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be
jealous for my holy name;
26-39:29 Neither
will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon
the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
26-43:18 And
he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD;
These are the ordinances of the altar
in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle
blood thereon.
26-43:19 And
thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which
approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord
GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
26-43:27 And
when these days are expired, it shall be, that
upon the eighth day, and so forward,
the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace
offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
26-44:6 And
thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to
the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O
ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,
26-44:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised
in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any
stranger that is among the children
of Israel.
26-44:12 Because
they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to
fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith
the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their
iniquity.
26-44:15 But
the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my
sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near
to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the
fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
26-44:27 And
in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister
in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the Lord GOD.
26-45:9 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O
princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice,
take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-45:15 And
one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of
Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings,
to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD.
26-45:18 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish,
and cleanse the sanctuary:
26-46:1 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court
that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the
sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
26-46:16 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto
any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by
inheritance.
26-47:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to
the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall
have two portions.
26-47:23 And
it shall come to pass, that in what
tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
26-48:29 This
is the land which ye shall divide by
lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD.
27-9:3 And
I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by
prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
28-12:5 Even
the LORD God of hosts; the LORD is his
memorial.
30-1:8 And
I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre
from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the
Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord GOD.
30-3:7 Surely
the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth
his secret unto his servants the prophets.
30-3:8 The
lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD
hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
30-3:11 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary there shall be even round about the
land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be
spoiled.
30-3:13 Hear
ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord
GOD, the God of hosts,
30-4:2 The
Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo,
the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your
posterity with fishhooks.
30-4:5 And
offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this
liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
30-5:3 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred,
and that which went forth by an
hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
30-5:15 Hate
the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that
the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the
remnant of Joseph.
30-6:8 The
Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of
hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I
deliver up the city with all that is therein.
30-7:1 Thus
hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold,
he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter
growth; and, lo, it was the latter
growth after the king’s mowings.
30-7:2 And
it came to pass, that when they had
made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob
arise? for he is small.
30-7:4 Thus
hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold,
the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it
devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
30-7:5 Then
said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by
whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
30-7:6 The
LORD repented for this: This also shall not
be, saith the Lord GOD.
30-8:1 Thus
hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a
basket of summer fruit.
30-8:3 And
the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there
shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
30-8:9 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD,
that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in
the clear day:
30-8:11 Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will
send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but
of hearing the words of the LORD:
30-9:5 And
the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell
therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be
drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
30-9:8 Behold,
the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face
of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith
the LORD.
31-1:1 The
vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning
Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD,
and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up
against her in battle.
32-4:6 And
the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might
be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was
exceeding glad of the gourd.
33-1:2 Hear,
all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
35-3:19 The
LORD God is
my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the
chief singer on my stringed instruments.
36-1:7 Hold
thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for
the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath
prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
38-9:14 And
the LORD shall be seen over them, and his
arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD
shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
42-1:32 He shall
be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father
David:
42-1:68 Blessed be the Lord God
of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
60-3:15 But
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope
that is in you with meekness and fear:
65-1:4 For
there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to
this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord
Jesus Christ.
66-4:8 And the
four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full
of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which
art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great
power, and hast reigned.

sing the song of Moses the servant of God,

of saints.

heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God
Almighty, true and righteous are thy
judgments.

shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she
shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters,

no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and

reign for ever and ever.

said unto me, These sayings are faithful
and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets
sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
