45-ROMANS
45-1:12 That
is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you
and me.
45-1:15 So,
as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the
gospel to you that are at Rome also.
45-7:8 But
sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me
all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
45-7:11 For
sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me,
and by it slew me.
45-7:13 Was
then that which is good made death unto me? God
forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment
might become exceeding sinful.
45-7:17 Now
then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
45-7:18 For
I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,)
dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me;
but how to perform that which is good
I find not.
45-7:20 Now
if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
45-7:21 I
find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
45-7:23 But
I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and
bringing me into captivity to the law of sin
which is in my members.
45-7:24 O
wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me
from the body of this death?
45-8:2 For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
45-9:1 I
say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
45-9:19 Thou
wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find
fault? For who hath resisted his will?
45-9:20 Nay
but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say
to him that formed it, Why hast thou
made me thus?
45-10:20 But
Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not
after me.
45-12:3 For
I say, through the grace given unto me, to every
man that is among you, not to think of
himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according
as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
45-14:11 For
it is written, As I live, saith the
Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to God.
45-15:3 For
even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them
that reproached thee fell on me.
45-15:15 Nevertheless,
brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you
in mind, because of the grace that is given to me
of God,
45-15:18 For
I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought
by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word
and deed,
45-15:30 Now
I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of
the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
45-16:7 Salute
Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among
the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.
46-1 CORINTHIANS
46-1:11 For
it hath been declared unto me of you, my
brethren, by them which are of the house of
Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
46-1:17 For
Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the
gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of
none effect.
46-3:10 According
to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a
wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.
But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
46-4:3 But
with me it is a very small thing that I should
be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
46-4:4 For
I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
46-4:16 Wherefore
I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
46-6:12 All
things are lawful unto me, but all things are not
expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I
will not be brought under the power of any.
46-7:1 Now
concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a
woman.
46-9:3 Mine
answer to them that do examine me is this,
46-9:15 But
I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it
should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying
void.
46-9:16 For
though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid
upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
46-9:17 For
if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a
dispensation of the gospel is
committed unto me.
46-10:23 All
things are lawful for me, but all things are not
expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all
things edify not.
46-11:1 Be
ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
46-11:2 Now
I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in
all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
46-11:24 And
when he had given thanks, he brake it, and
said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in
remembrance of me.
46-11:25 After
the same manner also he took the cup,
when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do
ye, as oft as ye drink it, in
remembrance of me.
46-13:3 And
though I bestow all my goods to feed the
poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth
me nothing.
46-14:11 Therefore
if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a
barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a
barbarian unto me.
46-14:21 In
the law it is written, With men of other
tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will
they not hear me, saith the Lord.
46-15:8 And
last of all he was seen of me also, as of one
born out of due time.
46-15:10 But
by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in
vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of
God which was with me.
46-15:32 If
after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth
it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink;
for to morrow we die.
46-16:4 And
if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
46-16:6 And
it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
46-16:9 For
a great door and effectual is opened unto me,
and there are many adversaries.
46-16:11 Let
no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come
unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
46-16:21 The
salutation of me
Paul with mine own hand.
47-2 CORINTHIANS
47-1:17 When
I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose,
do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me
there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
47-1:19 For
the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me
and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.
47-2:2 For
if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me
glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
47-2:5 But
if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me,
but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
47-2:12 Furthermore,
when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s
gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the
Lord,
47-7:7 And
not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in
you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind
toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
47-9:1 For
as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
47-9:4 Lest
haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and
find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same
confident boasting.
47-11:1 Would
to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
47-11:9 And
when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that
which was lacking to me the brethren which came
from Macedonia supplied: and in all things
I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
47-11:10 As
the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
47-11:16 I
say again, Let no man think me a fool; if
otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may
boast myself a little.
47-11:28 Beside
those things that are without, that which cometh upon me
daily, the care of all the churches.
47-11:32 In
Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes
with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
47-12:1 It
is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I
will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
47-12:6 For
though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the
truth: but now I forbear, lest any
man should think of me above that which he seeth
me to be, or
that he heareth of me.
47-12:7 And
lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the
revelations, there was given to me a thorn in
the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me,
lest I should be exalted above measure.
47-12:8 For
this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
47-12:9 And
he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for
thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I
rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
47-12:11 I
am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me:
for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very
chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.
47-12:13 For
what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome
to you? forgive me this wrong.
47-12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will
humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not
repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have
committed.
47-13:3 Since
ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which
to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
47-13:10 Therefore
I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness,
according to the power which the Lord hath given me
to edification, and not to destruction.
48-GALATIANS
48-1:2 And
all the brethren which are with me, unto the
churches of Galatia:
48-1:11 But
I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
48-1:15 But
when it pleased God, who separated me from my
mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
48-1:16 To
reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him
among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
48-1:17 Neither
went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto
Damascus.
48-1:24 And
they glorified God in me.
48-2:1 Then
fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus
with me also.
48-2:3 But
neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek,
was compelled to be circumcised:
48-2:6 But
of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter
to me: God accepteth no man’s person:) for they
who seemed to be somewhat in
conference added nothing to me:
48-2:7 But
contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed
unto me, as the
gospel of the circumcision was unto
Peter;
48-2:8 (For
he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision,
the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
48-2:9 And
when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace
that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we
should go unto the heathen, and they
unto the circumcision.
48-2:20 I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live
by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me,
and gave himself for me.
48-4:12 Brethren,
I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
48-4:14 And
my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received
me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
48-4:15 Where
is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have
plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
48-4:21 Tell
me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye
not hear the law?
48-6:14 But
God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto
the world.
48-6:17 From
henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in
my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
49-EPHESIANS
49-3:2 If
ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
49-3:3 How
that by revelation he made known unto me the
mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
49-3:7 Whereof
I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
49-3:8 Unto
me, who am less than the least of all saints, is
this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable
riches of Christ;
49-6:19 And
for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the
mystery of the gospel,
50-PHILIPPIANS
50-1:7 Even
as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because
I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and
confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
50-1:12 But
I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen
out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
50-1:21 For
to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
50-1:26 That
your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.
50-1:30 Having
the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now
hear to be in me.
50-2:18 For
the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.
50-2:22 But
ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.
50-2:23 Him
therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
50-2:27 For
indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him
only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow
upon sorrow.
50-2:30 Because
for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to
supply your lack of service toward me.
50-3:1 Finally,
my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not
grievous, but for you it is safe.
50-3:7 But
what things were gain to me, those I counted
loss for Christ.
50-3:17 Brethren,
be followers together of me, and mark them which
walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
50-4:3 And
I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose
names are in the book of life.
50-4:9 Those
things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
50-4:10 But
I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also
careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
50-4:13 I
can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
50-4:15 Now
ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed
from Macedonia, no church communicated with me
as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
50-4:21 Salute
every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
51-COLOSSIANS
51-1:25 Whereof
I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
51-1:29 Whereunto
I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
51-4:11 And
Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of
God, which have been a comfort unto me.
51-4:18 The
salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my
bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
54-1 TIMOTHY
54-1:12 And
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me,
for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
54-1:16 Howbeit
for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first
Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which
should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
55-2 TIMOTHY
55-1:8 Be
not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the
afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
55-1:13 Hold
fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me,
in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
55-1:15 This
thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
55-1:16 The
Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
55-1:17 But,
when he was in Rome, he sought me out very
diligently, and found me.
55-1:18 The
Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how
many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus,
thou knowest very well.
55-2:2 And
the things that thou hast heard of me among many
witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach
others also.
55-3:11 Persecutions,
afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium,
at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
55-4:8 Henceforth
there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me
only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
55-4:9 Do
thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
55-4:10 For
Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this
present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus
unto Dalmatia.
55-4:11 Only
Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with
thee: for he is profitable to me for the
ministry.
55-4:14 Alexander
the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord
reward him according to his works:
55-4:16 At
my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me:
I pray God that it may not be laid to
their charge.
55-4:17 Notwithstanding
the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the
preaching might be fully known, and that all
the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
55-4:18 And
the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work,
and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
56-TITUS
56-1:3 But
hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed
unto me according to the commandment of God our
Saviour;
56-3:12 When
I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to
winter.
56-3:15 All
that are with me salute thee. Greet them that
love us in the faith. Grace be with
you all. Amen.
57-PHILEMON
57-1:11 Which
in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:
57-1:13 Whom
I would have retained with me, that in thy stead
he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of
the gospel:
57-1:16 Not
now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh,
and in the Lord?
57-1:17 If
thou count me therefore a partner, receive him
as myself.
57-1:19 I
Paul have written it with mine own
hand, I will repay it: albeit I do
not say to thee how thou owest unto me even
thine own self besides.
57-1:20 Yea,
brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord:
refresh my bowels in the Lord.
57-1:22 But
withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust
that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
58-HEBREWS
58-1:5 For
unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I
begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
58-2:13 And
again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which
God hath given me.
58-3:9 When
your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
58-8:10 For
this is the covenant that I will make
with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws
into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God,
and they shall be to me a people:
58-8:11 And
they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother,
saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me,
from the least to the greatest.
58-10:5 Wherefore
when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest
not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
58-10:7 Then
said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
58-10:30 For
we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth
unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord.
And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
58-10:34 For
ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took
joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in
heaven a better and an enduring substance.
58-11:32 And
what shall I more say? for the time would fail me
to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David
also, and Samuel, and of the
prophets:
58-13:6 So
that we may boldly say, The Lord is my
helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
59-JAMES
59-2:18 Yea,
a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me
thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
61-2 PETER
61-1:14 Knowing
that shortly I must put off this my
tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
65-JUDE
65-1:3 Beloved,
when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was
needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for
the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
66-REVELATION
66-1:10 I
was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me
a great voice, as of a trumpet,
66-1:12 And
I turned to see the voice that spake with me.
And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
66-1:17 And
when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me,
Fear not; I am the first and the last:
66-3:4 Thou
hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they
shall walk with me in white: for they are
worthy.
66-3:18 I
counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire,
that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not
appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
66-3:20 Behold,
I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I
will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
66-3:21 To
him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me
in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his
throne.
66-4:1 After
this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened
in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me;
which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
66-5:5 And
one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not:
behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to
open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
66-7:13 And
one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What
are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
66-7:14 And
I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me,
These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their
robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
66-10:4 And
when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I
heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal
up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
66-10:8 And
the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me
again, and said, Go and take the little
book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and
upon the earth.
66-10:9 And
I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me
the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy
belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
66-10:11 And
he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before
many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
66-11:1 And
there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and
the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar,
and them that worship therein.
66-14:13 And
I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die
in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from
their labours; and their works do follow them.

there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me,
Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth
upon many waters:

he carried me away in the spirit into the
wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names
of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel?
I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her,

high mountain, and shewed me that great city,

he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear
as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
