01-GENESIS
01-1:6 And
God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst
of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
01-2:9 And
out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the
sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst
of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
01-3:3 But
of the fruit of the tree which is in
the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall
not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
01-15:10 And
he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst,
and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
01-19:29 And
it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God
remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst
of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
01-48:16 The
Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named
on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a
multitude in the midst of the earth.
02-3:2 And
the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush
burned with fire, and the bush was not
consumed.
02-3:4 And
when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he
said, Here am I.
02-3:20 And
I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do
in the midst thereof: and after that he will let
you go.
02-8:22 And
I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no
swarms of flies shall be there; to
the end thou mayest know that I am the
LORD in the midst of the earth.
02-11:4 And
Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
02-14:16 But
lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it:
and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground
through the midst of the sea.
02-14:22 And
the children of Israel went into the midst of
the sea upon the dry ground: and the
waters were a wall unto them on their
right hand, and on their left.
02-14:23 And
the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst
of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s
horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
02-14:27 And
Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his
strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the
LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the
sea.
02-14:29 But
the children of Israel walked upon dry land
in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right
hand, and on their left.
02-15:19 For
the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the
sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the
children of Israel went on dry land in
the midst of the sea.
02-23:25 And
ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water;
and I will take sickness away from the midst of
thee.
02-24:16 And
the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six
days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
02-24:18 And
Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat
him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
02-26:28 And
the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall
reach from end to end.
02-27:5 And
thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be
even to the midst of the altar.
02-28:32 And
there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst
thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as
it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
02-33:3 Unto
a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.
02-33:5 For
the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up
into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume
thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do
unto thee.
02-34:12 Take
heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land
whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst
of thee:
02-38:4 And
he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof
beneath unto the midst of it.
02-39:23 And
there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that
it should not rend.
03-16:16 And
he shall make an atonement for the holy place,
because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their
transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the
congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst
of their uncleanness.
04-2:17 Then
the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the
Levites in the midst of the camp: as they
encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
04-5:3 Both
male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they
defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I
dwell.
04-16:47 And
Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst
of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he
put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
04-19:6 And
the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst
of the burning of the heifer.
04-33:8 And
they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three
days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
04-35:5 And
ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits,
and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand
cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst:
this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.
05-4:11 And
ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire
unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds,
and thick darkness.
05-4:12 And
the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the
fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
05-4:15 Take
ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on
the day that the LORD spake unto you
in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
05-4:33 Did
ever people hear the voice of God
speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou
hast heard, and live?
05-4:34 Or
hath God assayed to go and take him a
nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by
war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors,
according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
05-4:36 Out
of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon
earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.
05-5:4 The
LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
05-5:22 These
words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick
darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two
tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.
05-5:23 And
it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst
of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto
me, even all the heads of your
tribes, and your elders;
05-5:24 And
ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness,
and we have heard his voice out of the midst of
the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
05-5:26 For
who is there of all flesh, that hath
heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst
of the fire, as we have, and lived?
05-9:10 And
the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God;
and on them was written according to
all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
05-10:4 And
he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments,
which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst
of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.
05-11:3 And
his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst
of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;
05-11:6 And
what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how
the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and
their tents, and all the substance that was
in their possession, in the midst of all
Israel:
05-13:5 And
that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath
spoken to turn you away from the LORD
your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of
the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God
commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
05-13:16 And
thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst
of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil
thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it
shall not be built again.
05-17:20 That
his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from
the commandment, to the right hand,
or to the left: to the end that he
may prolong his days in his kingdom,
he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.
05-18:15 The
LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall
hearken;
05-19:2 Thou
shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst
of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
05-23:14 For
the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy
camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore
shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away
from thee.
05-32:51 Because
ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of
Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.
06-3:17 And
the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry
ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the
Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean
over Jordan.
06-4:3 And
command ye them, saying, Take you hence out of the midst
of Jordan, out of the place where the priests’ feet stood firm, twelve stones,
and ye shall carry them over with you, and leave them in the lodging place,
where ye shall lodge this night.
06-4:5 And
Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of Jordan, and take you up every man of you a
stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the
children of Israel:
06-4:8 And
the children of Israel did so as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones
out of the midst of Jordan, as the LORD spake
unto Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel,
and carried them over with them unto the place where they lodged, and laid them
down there.
06-4:9 And
Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of
Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the
covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
06-4:10 For
the priests which bare the ark stood in the midst
of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to
speak unto the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the
people hasted and passed over.
06-4:18 And
it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD
were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests’ feet were
lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their
place, and flowed over all his banks, as they
did before.
06-7:13 Up,
sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus
saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an
accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel:
thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed
thing from among you.
06-7:21 When
I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of
silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and
took them; and, behold, they are hid
in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the
silver under it.
06-7:23 And
they took them out of the midst of the tent, and
brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them
out before the LORD.
06-8:13 And
when they had set the people, even all
the host that was on the north of the
city, and their liers in wait on the west of the city, Joshua went that night
into the midst of the valley.
06-8:22 And
the other issued out of the city against them; so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that
side: and they smote them, so that they let none of them remain or escape.
06-10:13 And
the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged
themselves upon their enemies. Is not
this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a
whole day.
06-13:9 From
Aroer, that is upon the bank of the
river Arnon, and the city that is in
the midst of the river, and all the plain of
Medeba unto Dibon;
06-13:16 And
their coast was from Aroer, that is on
the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all
the plain by Medeba;
07-15:4 And
Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned
tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst
between two tails.
07-18:20 And
the priest’s heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the
graven image, and went in the midst of the
people.
07-20:42 Therefore
they turned their backs before the
men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and
them which came out of the cities they
destroyed in the midst of them.
09-11:11 And
it was so on the morrow, that Saul
put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the
Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which
remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together.
09-16:13 Then
Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst
of his brethren: and the spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day
forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
09-18:10 And
it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul,
and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and
David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand.
10-1:25 How
are the mighty fallen in the midst of the
battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain
in thine high places.
10-4:6 And
they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat;
and they smote him under the fifth rib: and
Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.
10-6:17 And
they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it:
and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
10-18:14 Then
said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand,
and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the
oak.
10-20:12 And
Amasa wallowed in blood in the midst of the
highway. And when the man saw that all the people stood still, he removed Amasa
out of the highway into the field, and cast a cloth upon him, when he saw that
every one that came by him stood still.
10-23:12 But
he stood in the midst of the ground, and
defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.
10-23:20 And
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done
many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion
in the midst of a pit in time of snow:
10-24:5 And
they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city
that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer:
11-3:8 And
thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great
people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.
11-6:27 And
he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings
of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall;
and their wings touched one another in the midst
of the house.
11-8:51 For
they be thy people, and thine
inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:
11-20:39 And
as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went
out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a
man turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any
means he be missing, then shall thy life be for his life, or else thou shalt
pay a talent of silver.
11-22:35 And
the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot
against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into
the midst of the chariot.
12-6:20 And
it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, LORD, open
the eyes of these men, that they may
see. And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.
13-11:14 And
they set themselves in the midst of that parcel, and delivered it, and slew
the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by
a great deliverance.
13-16:1 So
they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst
of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices
and peace offerings before God.
13-19:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the
midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them
away.
14-6:13 For
Solomon had made a brasen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad,
and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst
of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all
the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven,
14-20:14 Then
upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the
son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in
the midst of the congregation;
14-32:4 So
there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the
brook that ran through the midst of the land,
saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?
16-4:11 And
our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to
cease.
16-9:11 And
thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their
persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters.
17-4:1 When
Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on
sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst
of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry;
18-21:21 For
what pleasure hath he in his house
after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?
19-22:14 I
am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like
wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
19-22:22 I
will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst
of the congregation will I praise thee.
19-46:2 Therefore
will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried
into the midst of the sea;
19-46:5 God
is in the midst
of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
19-48:9 We
have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst
of thy temple.
19-55:10 Day
and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst
of it.
19-55:11 Wickedness
is in the midst
thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
19-57:6 They
have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit
before me, into the midst whereof they are
fallen themselves. Selah.
19-74:4 Thine
enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations;
they set up their ensigns for signs.
19-74:12 For
God is my King of old, working
salvation in the midst of the earth.
19-78:28 And
he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.
19-102:24 I
said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of
my days: thy years are throughout all
generations.
19-110:2 The
LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
19-116:19 In
the courts of the Lord’s house, in the midst of
thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
19-135:9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his
servants.
19-136:14 And
made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for
his mercy endureth for ever:
19-137:2 We
hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst
thereof.
19-138:7 Though
I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive
me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and
thy right hand shall save me.
20-4:21 Let
them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst
of thine heart.
20-5:14 I
was almost in all evil in the midst of the
congregation and assembly.
20-8:20 I
lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst
of the paths of judgment:
20-14:33 Wisdom
resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is
made known.
20-23:34 Yea,
thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst
of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
20-30:19 The
way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship
in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man
with a maid.
22-3:10 He
made the pillars thereof of silver,
the bottom thereof of gold, the
covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.
23-4:4 When
the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall
have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst
thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
23-5:2 And
he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the
choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of
it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth
grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
23-5:8 Woe
unto them that join house to house, that lay
field to field, till there be no
place, that they may be placed alone in the midst
of the earth!
23-5:25 Therefore
is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched
forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble,
and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not
turned away, but his hand is stretched
out still.
23-6:5 Then
said I, Woe is me! for I am undone;
because I am a man of unclean lips,
and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean
lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
23-6:12 And
the LORD have removed men far away, and there
be a great forsaking in the midst of the
land.
23-7:6 Let
us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us,
and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
23-10:23 For
the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
23-12:6 Cry
out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst
of thee.
23-16:3 Take
counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not
him that wandereth.
23-19:1 The
burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come
into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the
heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
23-19:3 And
the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof;
and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and
to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
23-19:14 The
LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst
thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
23-19:19 In
that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst
of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
23-19:24 In
that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
23-24:13 When
thus it shall be in the midst of the land among
the people, there shall be as the
shaking of an olive tree, and as the
gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
23-24:18 And
it shall come to pass, that he who
fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh
up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in
the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the
earth do shake.
23-25:11 And
he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of
them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his
hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils
of their hands.
23-29:23 But
when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and
sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.
23-30:28 And
his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve
of vanity: and there shall be a
bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them
to err.
23-41:18 I
will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst
of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land
springs of water.
23-52:11 Depart
ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of
her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
23-58:9 Then
shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say,
Here I am. If thou take away from the
midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the
finger, and speaking vanity;
23-66:17 They
that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst,
eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed
together, saith the LORD.
24-6:1 O
ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and
set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and
great destruction.
24-6:6 For
thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against
Jerusalem: this is the city to be
visited; she is wholly oppression in
the midst of her.
24-9:6 Thine
habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know
me, saith the LORD.
24-12:16 And
it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to
swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal;
then shall they be built in the midst of my
people.
24-14:9 Why
shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are
called by thy name; leave us not.
24-17:11 As the partridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in
the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a
fool.
24-21:4 Thus
saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith ye fight
against the king of Babylon, and against the
Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into
the midst of this city.
24-29:8 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your
diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your
dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.
24-30:21 And
their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and
he shall approach unto me: for who is this
that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
24-37:12 Then
Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to
separate himself thence in the midst of the
people.
24-41:7 And
it was so, when they came into the midst of the city, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah
slew them, and cast them into the midst of the pit, he, and the men that were with him.
24-46:21 Also
her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are
turned back, and are fled away
together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon
them, and the time of their
visitation.
24-48:45 They
that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire
shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst
of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the
tumultuous ones.
24-50:8 Remove
out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of
the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.
24-50:37 A
sword is upon their horses, and upon
their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall
become as women: a sword is upon her
treasures; and they shall be robbed.
24-51:1 Thus
saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that
dwell in the midst of them that rise up against
me, a destroying wind;
24-51:6 Flee
out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every
man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a
recompence.
24-51:45 My
people, go ye out of the midst of her, and
deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
24-51:47 Therefore,
behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of
Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall
in the midst of her.
24-51:63 And
it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and
cast it into the midst of Euphrates:
24-52:25 He
took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war;
and seven men of them that were near the king’s person, which were found in the
city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the
land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
25-1:15 The
Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men
in the midst of me: he hath called an
assembly against me to crush my young men: the Lord hath trodden the virgin,
the daughter of Judah, as in a
winepress.
25-3:45 Thou
hast made us as the offscouring and
refuse in the midst of the people.
25-4:13 For
the sins of her prophets, and the
iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,
26-1:4 And
I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a
fire infolding itself, and a brightness was
about it, and out of the midst thereof as
the colour of amber, out of the midst of the
fire.
26-1:5 Also
out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the
likeness of a man.
26-5:2 Thou
shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst
of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a
third part, and smite about it with a
knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a
sword after them.
26-5:4 Then
take of them again, and cast them into the midst
of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for
thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
26-5:5 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem:
I have set it in the midst of the nations and
countries that are round about her.
26-5:8 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am
against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst
of thee in the sight of the nations.
26-5:10 Therefore
the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of
thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in
thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
26-5:12 A
third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be
consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part
shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into
all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
26-6:7 And
the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye
shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:4 And
mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense
thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-7:9 And
mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee
according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and
ye shall know that I am the LORD that
smiteth.
26-8:11 And
there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and
in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of
Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense
went up.
26-9:4 And
the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of
the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and
set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the
abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
26-10:10 And
as for their appearances, they four
had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst
of a wheel.
26-11:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are
the flesh, and this city is the
caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst
of it.
26-11:9 And
I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and
deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
26-11:11 This
city shall not be your caldron,
neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof;
but I will judge you in the border of
Israel:
26-11:23 And
the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of
the city, and stood upon the mountain which is
on the east side of the city.
26-12:2 Son
of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a
rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear,
and hear not: for they are a
rebellious house.
26-13:14 So
will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground,
so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye
shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye
shall know that I am the LORD.
26-14:8 And
I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb,
and I will cut him off from the midst of my
people; and ye shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-14:9 And
if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have
deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will
destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
26-15:4 Behold,
it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and
the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
26-16:53 When
I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters,
and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:
26-17:16 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely in
the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he
despised, and whose covenant he brake, even
with him in the midst of Babylon he shall
die.
26-20:8 But
they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man
cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of
Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger
against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
26-21:32 Thou
shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have
spoken it.
26-22:3 Then
say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols
against herself to defile herself.
26-22:7 In
thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst
of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they
vexed the fatherless and the widow.
26-22:9 In
thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the
mountains: in the midst of thee they commit
lewdness.
26-22:13 Behold,
therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made,
and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of
thee.
26-22:18 Son
of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead,
in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
26-22:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I
will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
26-22:20 As they gather silver, and brass, and
iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the
furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it;
so will I gather you in mine
anger and in my fury, and I will leave you
there, and melt you.
26-22:21 Yea,
I will gather you, and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath, and ye shall be
melted in the midst thereof.
26-22:22 As
silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so
shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye
shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.
26-22:25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in
the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening
the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious
things; they have made her many widows in the midst
thereof.
26-22:27 Her
princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to
shed blood, and to destroy souls, to
get dishonest gain.
26-23:39 For
when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day
into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.
26-24:7 For
her blood is in the midst of her; she set it
upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with
dust;
26-26:5 It
shall be a place for the spreading of
nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall
become a spoil to the nations.
26-26:12 And
they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and
they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they
shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.
26-26:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy
fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
26-27:4 Thy
borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy
beauty.
26-27:25 The
ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished,
and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
26-27:26 Thy
rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in
the midst of the seas.
26-27:27 Thy
riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy
calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company
which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.
26-27:32 And
in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over
thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed
in the midst of the sea?
26-27:34 In
the time when thou shalt be broken by
the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the
midst of thee shall fall.
26-28:2 Son
of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine
heart is lifted up, and thou hast
said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of
God:
26-28:8 They
shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
26-28:14 Thou
art the anointed cherub that
covereth; and I have set thee so: thou
wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
26-28:16 By
the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst
of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as
profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub,
from the midst of the stones of fire.
26-28:18 Thou
hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the
iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring
thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
26-28:22 And
say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am
against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed
judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
26-28:23 For
I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded
shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword
upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-29:3 Speak,
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am
against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.
26-29:4 But
I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick
unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst
of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.
26-29:12 And
I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst
of the countries that are desolate, and
her cities among the cities that are laid
waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the
nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
26-29:21 In
that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will
give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst
of them; and they shall know that I am the
LORD.
26-30:7 And
they shall be desolate in the midst of the
countries that are desolate, and her
cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.
26-31:14 To
the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their
height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees
stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto
death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst
of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
26-31:17 They
also went down into hell with him unto them
that be slain with the sword; and they
that were his arm, that dwelt
under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
26-31:18 To
whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet
shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the
earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the
uncircumcised with them that be slain
by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all
his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:20 They
shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword:
draw her and all her multitudes.
26-32:21 The
strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst
of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised,
slain by the sword.
26-32:25 They
have set her a bed in the midst of the slain
with all her multitude: her graves are round
about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror
was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them
that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst
of them that be slain.
26-32:28 Yea,
thou shalt be broken in the midst of the
uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them
that are slain with the sword.
26-32:32 For
I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:23 And
I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye
have profaned in the midst of them; and the
heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
26-37:1 The
hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and
set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
26-37:26 Moreover
I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant
with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary
in the midst of them for evermore.
26-37:28 And
the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary
shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
26-38:12 To
take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the
people that are gathered out of the
nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
26-39:7 So
will I make my holy name known in the midst of
my people Israel; and I will not let them
pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
26-41:7 And
there was an enlarging, and a winding
about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house
went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.
26-43:7 And
he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles
of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of
the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no
more defile, neither they, nor their
kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high
places.
26-43:9 Now
let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me,
and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
26-46:10 And
the prince in the midst of them, when they go
in, shall go in; and when they go forth, shall go forth.
26-48:8 And
by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the
offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length
as one of the other parts, from the
east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
26-48:10 And
for them, even for the priests, shall
be this holy oblation; toward the
north five and twenty thousand in length,
and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten
thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length:
and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst
thereof.
26-48:15 And
the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and
twenty thousand, shall be a profane place
for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.
26-48:21 And
the residue shall be for the prince,
on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of
the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east
border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west
border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy
oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall
be in the midst thereof.
26-48:22 Moreover
from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst
of that which is the prince’s,
between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the
prince.
27-3:6 And
whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
27-3:11 And
whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that
he should be cast into the midst of a
burning fiery furnace.
27-3:15 Now
if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,
sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and
worship the image which I have made; well:
but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out
of my hands?
27-3:21 Then
these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
27-3:23 And
these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
27-3:24 Then
Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his
counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst
of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
27-3:25 He
answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form
of the fourth is like the Son of God.
27-3:26 Then
Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27-4:10 Thus
were the visions of mine head in my
bed; I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of
the earth, and the height thereof was great.
27-7:15 I
Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head
troubled me.
27-9:27 And
he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the
oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
28-5:4 They
will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms
is in the midst
of them, and they have not known the LORD.
28-11:9 I
will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy
Ephraim: for I am God, and not man;
the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will
not enter into the city.
29-2:27 And
ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your
God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
30-2:3 And
I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof,
and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.
30-3:9 Publish
in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say,
Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults
in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
30-6:4 That
lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the
lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst
of the stall;
30-7:8 And
the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then
said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst
of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
30-7:10 Then
Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath
conspired against thee in the midst of the house
of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
32-2:3 For
thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst
of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves
passed over me.
33-2:12 I
will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of
Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by
reason of the multitude of men.
33-5:7 And
the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of
many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that
tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
33-5:8 And
the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a
young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth
down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
33-5:10 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy
horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy
thy chariots:
33-5:13 Thy
graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work
of thine hands.
33-5:14 And
I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of
thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
33-6:14 Thou
shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and
thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.
33-7:14 Feed
thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
34-3:13 Behold,
thy people in the midst of thee are women: the gates of thy land shall
be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars.
35-2:19 Woe
unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall
teach! Behold, it is laid over with
gold and silver, and there is no breath
at all in the midst of it.

LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was
afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of
the years, in the midst of the years make known;
in wrath remember mercy.
36-2:14 And
flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all
the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in
the upper lintels of it; their voice
shall sing in the windows; desolation shall
be in the thresholds: for he shall uncover the cedar work.
36-3:5 The
just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning
doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no
shame.
36-3:11 In
that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast
transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou
shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.
36-3:12 I
will also leave in the midst of thee an
afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.

LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of
Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst
of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
36-3:17 The
LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice
over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with
singing.
38-2:5 For
I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the
glory in the midst of her.
38-2:10 Sing
and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.
38-2:11 And
many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people:
and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou
shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
38-5:4 I
will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house
of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and
it shall remain in the midst of his house, and
shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
38-5:7 And,
behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst

cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast
the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
38-8:3 Thus
saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a
city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
38-8:8 And
I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst
of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth
and in righteousness.
38-14:1 Behold,
the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
38-14:4 And
his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the
mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst
thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain
shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
40-10:16 Behold,
I send you forth as sheep in the midst of
wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed
with waves: for the wind was contrary.

them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,

the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked
Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is
it which these witness against thee?
42-2:46 And
it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in
the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and
asking them questions.
42-4:30 But
he passing through the midst of them went his
way,
42-4:35 And
Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the
devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out
of him, and hurt him not.
42-5:19 And
when they could not find by what way they
might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and
let him down through the tiling with his couch
into the midst before Jesus.
42-6:8 But
he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise
up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose
and stood forth.

of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto
you.

the temple, and taught.
43-8:3 And
the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when
they had set her in the midst,
43-8:9 And
they which heard it, being convicted
by their own conscience, went out one
by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto
the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
43-8:59 Then
took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the
temple, going through the midst of them, and so
passed by.
43-19:18 Where
they crucified him, and two others with him, on either side one, and Jesus in
the midst.
43-20:19 Then
the same day at evening, being the first day
of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled
for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst,
and saith unto them, Peace be unto
you.

after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut,
and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and
twenty,)

man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he
burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels
gushed out.
44-2:22 Ye men of
Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by
miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
44-4:7 And when
they had set them in the midst, they asked, By
what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
44-17:22 Then Paul
stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all
things ye are too superstitious.
44-27:21 But after
long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of
them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from
Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
50-2:15 That
ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye
shine as lights in the world;
58-2:12 Saying,
I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst
of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
66-1:13 And in
the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed
with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
66-2:1 Unto the
angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the
seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst
of the seven golden candlesticks;

hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that
overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
66-4:6 And
before the throne there was a sea of
glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the
throne, and round about the throne, were four
beasts full of eyes before and behind.
66-5:6 And I
beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and
of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders,
stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are
the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
66-6:6 And I
heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts
say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny;
and see thou hurt not the oil and the
wine.
66-7:17 For the
Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall
feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall
wipe away all tears from their eyes.
66-8:13 And I
beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst
of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the
earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which
are yet to sound!
66-14:6 And I saw
another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having
the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to
every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
66-19:17 And I saw
an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the
fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and
gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
66-22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the
river, was there the tree of life,
which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and
the leaves of the tree were for the
healing of the nations.

multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
