01-3:1 Now
the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the
field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God
said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
01-8:12 And
he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not
again unto him any more.
01-8:21 And
the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not
again curse the ground any more for man’s sake;
for the imagination of man’s heart is evil
from his youth; neither will I again smite any more
every thing living, as I have done.
01-9:11 And
I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any
more be a flood to destroy the earth.
01-9:15 And
I will remember my covenant, which is between
me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
01-17:5 Neither
shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy
name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
01-29:30 And
he went in also unto Rachel, and he loved also Rachel more
than Leah, and served with him yet seven other years.
01-32:28 And
he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob,
but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
01-34:19 And
the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob’s
daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father.
01-35:10 And
God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob:
thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but
Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
01-36:7 For
their riches were more than that they might
dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them
because of their cattle.
01-37:3 Now
Israel loved Joseph more than all his children,
because he was the son of his old
age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
01-37:4 And
when his brethren saw that their father loved him more
than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
01-37:5 And
Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his
brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
01-37:8 And
his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed
have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more
for his dreams, and for his words.
01-37:9 And
he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I
have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun
and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
01-38:26 And
Judah acknowledged them, and said,
She hath been more righteous than I; because
that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.
01-44:23 And
thou saidst unto thy servants, Except your youngest brother come down with you,
ye shall see my face no more.
02-1:9 And
he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more
and mightier than we:
02-1:12 But
the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because
of the children of Israel.
02-5:7 Ye
shall no more give the people straw to make
brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
02-5:9 Let
there more work be laid upon the men, that they
may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.
02-8:29 And
Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the
swarms of flies may depart from
Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh
deal deceitfully any more in not letting the
people go to sacrifice to the LORD.
02-9:28 Intreat
the LORD (for it is enough) that
there be no more
mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no
longer.
02-9:29 And
Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad
my hands unto the LORD; and the
thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more
hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord’s.
02-9:34 And
when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he
sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and
his servants.
02-10:28 And
Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no more; for in that
day thou seest my face thou shalt die.
02-10:29 And
Moses said, Thou hast spoken well, I will see thy face again no more.
02-11:1 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt;
afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.
02-11:6 And
there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was
none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
02-14:13 And
Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of
the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen
to day, ye shall see them again no more for
ever.
02-16:17 And
the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more,
some less.
02-30:15 The
rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not
give less than half a shekel, when they give
an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
02-36:5 And
they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more
than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
02-36:6 And
Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the
camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more
work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from
bringing.
03-6:5 Or
all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the
principal, and shall add the fifth part more
thereto, and give it unto him to whom
it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
03-11:42 Whatsoever
goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more
feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not
eat; for they are an abomination.
03-13:5 And
the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut
him up seven days more:
03-13:33 He
shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up
him that hath the scall seven days more:
03-13:54 Then
the priest shall command that they wash the
thing wherein the plague is, and
he shall shut it up seven days more:
03-17:7 And
they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto
devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever
unto them throughout their generations.
03-26:18 And
if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven
times more for your sins.
03-26:21 And
if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven
times more plagues upon you according to your
sins.
03-27:20 And
if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man,
it shall not be redeemed any more.
04-3:46 And
for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and
thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
04-8:25 And
from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
04-18:5 And
ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that
there be no wrath any more upon the children of
Israel.
04-22:15 And
Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honourable than they.
04-22:18 And
Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his
house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God,
to do less or more.
04-22:19 Now
therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the
LORD will say unto me more.
04-26:54 To
many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to
few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be
given according to those that were numbered of him.
04-33:54 And
ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more
ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the
fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according
to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
05-1:11 (The
LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and
bless you, as he hath promised you!)
05-3:26 But
the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD
said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more
unto me of this matter.
05-5:22 These
words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of
the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he
added no more. And he wrote them in two tables
of stone, and delivered them unto me.
05-5:25 Now
therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear
the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we
shall die.
05-7:7 The
LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
05-7:17 If
thou shalt say in thine heart, These nations are more than I; how can I
dispossess them?
05-10:16 Circumcise
therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more
stiffnecked.
05-13:11 And
all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more
any such wickedness as this is among you.
05-17:13 And
all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more
presumptuously.
05-17:16 But
he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to
Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath
said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more
that way.
05-18:16 According
to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the
assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither
let me see this great fire any more, that I die
not.
05-19:9 If
thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this
day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou
add three cities more for thee, beside these
three:
05-19:20 And
those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil among you.
05-20:1 When
thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots,
and a people more
than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
05-28:68 And
the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I
spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more
again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen,
and no man shall buy you.
05-31:2 And
he said unto them, I am an hundred
and twenty years old this day; I can no more go
out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this
Jordan.
05-31:27 For
I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you
this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?
06-2:11 And
as soon as we had heard these things, our
hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more
courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth
beneath.
06-5:1 And
it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the
Canaanites, which were by the sea,
heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children
of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was
there spirit in them any more, because of the
children of Israel.
06-5:12 And
the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the
land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more;
but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.
06-7:12 Therefore
the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed:
neither will I be with you any more, except ye
destroy the accursed from among you.
06-10:11 And
it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down
great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more
which died with hailstones than they whom
the children of Israel slew with the sword.
06-23:13 Know
for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more
drive out any of these nations from
before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your
sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which
the LORD your God hath given you.
07-2:19 And
it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that
they returned, and corrupted themselves
more than their fathers, in following other
gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own
doings, nor from their stubborn way.
07-8:28 Thus
was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their
heads no more. And the country was in quietness
forty years in the days of Gideon.
07-10:13 Yet
ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.
07-13:21 But
the angel of the LORD did no more appear to
Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.
07-15:3 And
Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more
blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.
07-16:30 And
Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon
the lords, and upon all the people that were
therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which
he slew in his life.
07-18:24 And
he said, Ye have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and ye are
gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that ye say unto me, What aileth thee?
08-1:11 And
Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they
may be your husbands?
08-1:17 Where
thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if
ought but death part thee and me.
08-3:10 And
he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD,
my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning,
inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
09-1:18 And
she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her
way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more
sad.
09-2:3 Talk
no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth:
for the LORD is a God of knowledge,
and by him actions are weighed.
09-3:17 And
he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray
thee hide it not from me: God do so
to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that
he said unto thee.
09-7:13 So
the Philistines were subdued, and they came no more
into the coast of Israel: and the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines
all the days of Samuel.
09-14:30 How
much more, if haply the people had eaten freely
to day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for had there not been now
a much greater slaughter among the Philistines?
09-14:44 And
Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou
shalt surely die, Jonathan.
09-15:35 And
Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of
his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he
had made Saul king over Israel.
09-18:2 And
Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more
home to his father’s house.
09-18:8 And
Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have
ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the
kingdom?
09-18:29 And
Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul
became David’s enemy continually.
09-18:30 Then
the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went
forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his
name was much set by.
09-20:13 The
LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it
please my father to do thee evil,
then I will shew it thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and
the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father.
09-22:15 Did
I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king
impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for
thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
09-23:3 And
David’s men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of
the Philistines?
09-24:17 And
he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me good,
whereas I have rewarded thee evil.
09-25:22 So
and more also do God unto the enemies of David,
if I leave of all that pertain to him
by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-25:36 And
Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the
feast of a king; and Nabal’s heart was merry
within him, for he was very drunken:
wherefore she told him nothing, less or more,
until the morning light.
09-26:21 Then
said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in
thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred
exceedingly.
09-27:1 And
David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that
I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall
despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast
of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.
09-27:4 And
it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him.
09-28:15 And
Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul
answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and
God is departed from me, and answereth me no more,
neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou
mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-30:4 Then
David and the people that were with
him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more
power to weep.
10-2:28 So
Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel
no more, neither fought they any more.
10-3:9 So
do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the
LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
10-3:35 And
when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David
sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also,
if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.
10-4:11 How
much more, when wicked men have slain a
righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now
require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?
10-5:13 And
David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem, after he
was come from Hebron: and there were yet sons and daughters born to David.
10-6:22 And
I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be
base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of
them shall I be had in honour.
10-7:10 Moreover
I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may
dwell in a place of their own, and move no more;
neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
10-7:20 And
what can David say more unto thee? for thou,
Lord GOD, knowest thy servant.
10-10:19 And
when all the kings that were servants
to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with
Israel, and served them. So the Syrians feared to help the children of Ammon
any more.
10-11:25 Then
David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this
thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy
battle more strong against the city, and
overthrow it: and encourage thou him.
10-14:10 And
the king said, Whosoever saith ought unto
thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee any more.
10-14:11 Then
said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou
wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD liveth, there shall not one
hair of thy son fall to the earth.
10-16:11 And
David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came
forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more
now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse;
for the LORD hath bidden him.
10-18:8 For
the battle was there scattered over the face of all the country: and the wood
devoured more people that day than the sword
devoured.
10-19:13 And
say ye to Amasa, Art thou not of my
bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more
also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of
Joab.
10-19:28 For
all of my father’s house were but
dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them
that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king?
10-19:29 And
the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more
of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land.
10-19:35 I
am this day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil?
can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women?
wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king?
10-19:43 And
the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the
king, and we have also more right in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice
should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of
Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.
10-20:6 And
David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did
Absalom: take thou thy lord’s servants, and pursue after him, lest he get
him fenced cities, and escape us.
10-21:17 But
Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed
him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the
light of Israel.
10-23:23 He
was more honourable than the thirty, but he
attained not to the first three. And
David set him over his guard.
11-2:23 Then
king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word
against his own life.
11-2:32 And
the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with
the sword, my father David not knowing thereof,
to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son
of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
11-10:5 And
the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of
his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which
he went up unto the house of the LORD; there was no more
spirit in her.
11-10:10 And
she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very
great store, and precious stones: there came no more
such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king
Solomon.
11-16:33 And
Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke
the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before
him.
11-19:2 Then
Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more
also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this
time.
11-20:10 And
Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for
handfuls for all the people that follow me.
12-2:12 And
Elisha saw it, and he cried, My
father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw
him no more: and he took hold of his own
clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
12-2:21 And
he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and
said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from
thence any more death or barren land.
12-4:6 And
it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring
me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There
is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
12-6:16 And
he answered, Fear not: for they that be with
us are more
than they that be with them.
12-6:23 And
he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he
sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.

he said, God do so and more also to me, if the

her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
12-12:7 Then
king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches
of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it
for the breaches of the house.
12-12:8 And
the priests consented to receive no more money of the people, neither to repair the
breaches of the house.
12-21:8 Neither
will I make the feet of Israel move any more out
of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do
according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that
my servant Moses commanded them.
12-21:9 But
they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more
evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of
Israel.
12-24:7 And
the king of Egypt came not again any more out of
his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the
river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
13-4:9 And
Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and
his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
13-11:21 Of
the three, he was more honourable than the two;
for he was their captain: howbeit he attained not to the first three.
13-14:3 And
David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David
begat more sons and daughters.
13-17:9 Also
I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall
dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more;
neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,
13-17:18 What
can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou
knowest thy servant.
13-19:19 And
when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before
Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the
Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
13-21:3 And
Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be:
but, my lord the king, are they
not all my lord’s servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will
he be a cause of trespass to Israel?
13-23:26 And
also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it
for the service thereof.
13-24:4 And
there were more chief men found of the sons of
Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus
were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the
house of their fathers.
14-9:4 And
the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of
his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and
his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
14-10:11 For
whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
14-15:19 And
there was no more
war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.
14-20:25 And
when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found
among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels,
which they stripped off for themselves, more
than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil,
it was so much.
14-25:9 And
Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents
which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD
is able to give thee much more than this.
14-28:13 And
said unto them, Ye shall not bring in the captives hither: for whereas we have
offended against the LORD already, ye
intend to add more
to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.
14-28:22 And
in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more
against the LORD: this is that king
Ahaz.
14-29:34 But
the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings:
wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended,
and until the other priests had
sanctified themselves: for the Levites were
more upright in heart to sanctify themselves
than the priests.
14-32:7 Be
strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor
for all the multitude that is with
him: for there be more with us than with him:
14-32:16 And
his servants spake yet more against the LORD God, and against his servant
Hezekiah.
14-33:8 Neither
will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out
of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take
heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the
statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
14-33:23 And
humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled
himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
15-7:20 And
whatsoever more shall be needful for the house
of thy God, which thou shalt have occasion to bestow, bestow it out of the king’s treasure house.
16-2:17 Then
said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste,
and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall
of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
16-13:18 Did
not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and
upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon
Israel by profaning the sabbath.
16-13:21 Then
I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if
ye do so again, I will lay hands on
you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
17-1:19 If
it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be
written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered,
That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus;
and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.
17-2:14 In
the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of
the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king’s chamberlain, which kept the
concubines: she came in unto the king no more,
except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name.
17-2:17 And
the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in
his sight more than all the virgins; so that he
set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
17-4:13 Then
Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt
escape in the king’s house, more than all the
Jews.
17-6:6 So
Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom
the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would
the king delight to do honour more than to
myself?
18-3:21 Which
long for death, but it cometh not;
and dig for it more than for hid treasures;
18-4:17 Shall
mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be
more pure than his maker?
18-7:7 O
remember that my life is wind: mine
eye shall no more see good.
18-7:8 The
eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
18-7:9 As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth
away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.
18-7:10 He
shall return no more to his house, neither shall
his place know him any more.
18-14:12 So
man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake,
nor be raised out of their sleep.
18-15:16 How
much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like
water?
18-20:9 The
eye also which saw him shall see him no more;
neither shall his place any more behold him.
18-23:12 Neither
have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of
his mouth more than my necessary food.
18-24:20 The
womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a
tree.
18-32:15 They
were amazed, they answered no more: they left
off speaking.
18-32:16 When
I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
18-34:19 How much less to him that accepteth not
the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more
than the poor? for they all are the
work of his hands.
18-34:23 For
he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into
judgment with God.
18-34:31 Surely
it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any
more:
18-34:32 That which I see not teach thou me: if I
have done iniquity, I will do no more.
18-35:2 Thinkest
thou this to be right, that thou
saidst, My righteousness is more than God’s?
18-35:11 Who
teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth,
and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
18-41:8 Lay
thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
18-42:12 So
the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than
his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and
a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
19-4:7 Thou
hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the
time that their corn and their wine
increased.
19-10:18 To
judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
19-19:10 More to be desired are
they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the
honeycomb.
19-39:13 O
spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.
19-40:5 Many,
O LORD my God, are thy wonderful
works which thou hast done, and thy
thoughts which are to us-ward: they
cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if
I would declare and speak of them, they
are more than can be numbered.
19-40:12 For
innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon
me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more
than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
19-41:8 An
evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast
unto him: and now that he lieth he
shall rise up no more.
19-52:3 Thou
lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
19-69:4 They
that hate me without a cause are more than the
hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
19-71:14 But
I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more
and more.
19-73:7 Their
eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than
heart could wish.
19-74:9 We
see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
19-76:4 Thou
art more
glorious and excellent than the
mountains of prey.
19-77:7 Will
the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
19-78:17 And
they sinned yet more against him by provoking the
most High in the wilderness.
19-83:4 They
have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
19-87:2 The
LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the
dwellings of Jacob.
19-88:5 Free
among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
19-103:16 For
the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it
no more.
19-104:35 Let
the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the
LORD.
19-115:14 The
LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
19-119:99 I
have more understanding than all my teachers:
for thy testimonies are my
meditation.
19-119:100 I
understand more than the ancients, because I
keep thy precepts.
19-130:6 My
soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more
than they that watch for the morning.
19-139:18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still
with thee.
20-3:15 She
is more
precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be
compared unto her.
20-4:18 But
the path of the just is as the
shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
20-10:25 As
the whirlwind passeth, so is the
wicked no more:
but the righteous is an
everlasting foundation.
20-11:24 There
is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there
is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
20-11:31 Behold,
the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more
the wicked and the sinner.
20-12:26 The
righteous is more
excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.
20-15:11 Hell
and destruction are before the LORD:
how much more then the hearts of the children of
men?
20-17:10 A
reproof entereth more into a wise man than an
hundred stripes into a fool.
20-19:7 All
the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more
do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them
with words, yet they are wanting to him.
20-21:3 To
do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
20-21:27 The
sacrifice of the wicked is abomination:
how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?
20-26:12 Seest
thou a man wise in his own conceit? there
is more hope of a fool than of him.
20-28:23 He
that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more
favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
20-29:20 Seest
thou a man that is hasty in his
words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
20-30:2 Surely
I am more
brutish than any man, and have not
the understanding of a man.
20-31:7 Let
him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
21-1:16 I
communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have
gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great
experience of wisdom and knowledge.
21-2:9 So
I was great, and increased more than all that
were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.
21-2:15 Then
said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me;
and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my
heart, that this also is vanity.
21-2:16 For
there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be
forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as
the fool.
21-2:25 For
who can eat, or who else can hasten hereunto,
more than I?
21-4:2 Wherefore
I praised the dead which are already dead more
than the living which are yet alive.
21-4:13 Better
is a poor and a wise child than an
old and foolish king, who will no more be
admonished.
21-5:1 Keep
thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more
ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that
they do evil.
21-6:5 Moreover
he hath not seen the sun, nor known any
thing: this hath more rest than the other.
21-6:8 For
what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath
the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?
21-7:19 Wisdom
strengtheneth the wise more than ten mighty men which are in the city.
21-7:26 And
I find more bitter than death the woman, whose
heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner
shall be taken by her.
21-9:5 For
the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither
have they any more a reward; for the memory of
them is forgotten.
21-9:6 Also
their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have
they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
21-9:17 The
words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.
21-10:10 If
the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
22-1:4 Draw
me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will
be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more
than wine: the upright love thee.
22-5:9 What
is thy beloved more than another
beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so
charge us?
23-1:5 Why
should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the
whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
23-1:13 Bring
no more vain oblations; incense is an
abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I
cannot away with; it is iniquity,
even the solemn meeting.
23-2:4 And
he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall
beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation
shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
23-5:4 What
could have been done more to my vineyard, that I
have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth
grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
23-9:1 Nevertheless
the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the
land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the
nations.
23-10:20 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall
stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
23-13:12 I
will make a man more precious than fine gold;
even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
23-15:9 For
the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapeth of Moab,
and upon the remnant of the land.
23-19:7 The
paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by
the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
23-23:10 Pass
through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.
23-23:12 And
he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou
oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also
shalt thou have no rest.
23-26:21 For,
behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth
for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
23-30:19 For
the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice
of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
23-30:20 And
though the Lord give you the bread of
adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into
a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy
teachers:
23-32:5 The
vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor
the churl said to be bountiful.
23-38:11 I
said, I shall not see the LORD, even the
LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more
with the inhabitants of the world.
23-47:1 Come
down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the
Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called
tender and delicate.
23-47:5 Sit
thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou
shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
23-51:22 Thus
saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that
pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand
the cup of trembling, even the dregs
of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink
it again:
23-52:1 Awake,
awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem,
the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more
come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.
23-52:14 As
many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more
than any man, and his form more than the sons of
men:
23-54:1 Sing,
O barren, thou that didst not bear;
break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more
are the children of the desolate than
the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
23-54:4 Fear
not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt
not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt
not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
23-54:9 For
this is as the waters of Noah unto
me: for as I have sworn that the waters
of Noah should no more go over the earth; so
have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
23-56:12 Come
ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and
we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more
abundant.
23-60:18 Violence
shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor
destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and
thy gates Praise.
23-60:19 The
sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither
for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto
thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
23-60:20 Thy
sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy
moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the
days of thy mourning shall be ended.
23-62:4 Thou
shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall
thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou
shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in
thee, and thy land shall be married.
23-62:8 The
LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I
will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall
not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
23-65:19 And
I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping
shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of
crying.
23-65:20 There
shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor
an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred
years old; but the sinner being an
hundred years old shall be accursed.
24-2:31 O
generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel?
a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
24-3:11 And
the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
24-3:16 And
it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in
those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more,
The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither
shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be
done any more.
24-3:17 At
that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations
shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall
they walk any more after the imagination of
their evil heart.
24-7:32 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the
valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.
24-10:20 My
tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth
of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent
any more, and to set up my curtains.
24-11:19 But
I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had
devised devices against me, saying, Let
us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the
land of the living, that his name may be no more
remembered.
24-16:14 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of
Israel out of the land of Egypt;
24-19:6 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of
Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.
24-20:9 Then
I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more
in his name. But his word was in mine
heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing,
and I could not stay.
24-22:10 Weep
ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but
weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
24-22:11 For
thus saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which
reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He
shall not return thither any more:
24-22:12 But
he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this
land no more.
24-22:30 Thus
saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall
prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
24-23:4 And
I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no
more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be
lacking, saith the LORD.
24-23:7 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the
children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
24-23:36 And
the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more:
for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of
the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
24-25:27 Therefore
thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among
you.
24-30:8 For
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy
neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more
serve themselves of him:
24-31:12 Therefore
they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the
goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young
of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and
they shall not sorrow any more at all.
24-31:29 In
those days they shall say no more, The fathers
have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
24-31:34 And
they shall teach no more every man his
neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all
know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for
I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
24-31:40 And
the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto
the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall
not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for
ever.
24-33:24 Considerest
thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD
hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people,
that they should be no more a nation before
them.
24-34:10 Now
when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant,
heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant,
go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more,
then they obeyed, and let them go.
24-38:9 My
lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah
the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for
hunger in the place where he is: for there
is no more bread in the city.
24-42:18 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath
been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured
forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration,
and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place
no more.
24-44:26 Therefore
hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt;
Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all
the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.
24-46:23 They
shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched;
because they are more than the grasshoppers, and
are innumerable.
24-48:2 There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil
against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword
shall pursue thee.
24-49:7 Concerning
Edom, thus saith the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom
no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the
prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
24-50:39 Therefore
the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein:
and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither
shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
24-51:44 And
I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that
which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
25-2:9 Her
gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king
and her princes are among the
Gentiles: the law is no more; her
prophets also find no vision from the LORD.
25-4:7 Her
Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:
25-4:15 They
cried unto them, Depart ye; it is unclean;
depart, depart, touch not: when they fled away and wandered, they said among
the heathen, They shall no more sojourn there.
25-4:16 The
anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more
regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not
the elders.
25-4:22 The
punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity: he will visit
thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins.
26-5:6 And
she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more
than the nations, and my statutes more than the
countries that are round about her:
for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in
them.
26-5:7 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more
than the nations that are round about
you, and have not walked in my
statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the
judgments of the nations that are round
about you;
26-5:9 And
I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
26-6:14 So
will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in
all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-12:23 Tell
them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and
they shall no more use it as a proverb in
Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every
vision.
26-12:24 For
there shall be no more any vain vision nor
flattering divination within the house of Israel.
26-12:25 For
I am the LORD: I will speak, and the
word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house,
will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-12:28 Therefore
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be
prolonged any more, but the word which I have
spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:15 Thus
will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it
with untempered morter, and will say
unto you, The wall is no more, neither
they that daubed it;
26-13:21 Your
kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they
shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and
ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-13:23 Therefore
ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine
divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know
that I am the LORD.
26-14:11 That
the house of Israel may go no more astray from
me, neither be polluted any more with all their
transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith
the Lord GOD.
26-14:21 For
thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I
send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the
noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
26-15:2 Son
of man, What is the vine tree more than any
tree, or than a branch which is among
the trees of the forest?
26-16:41 And
they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the
sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot,
and thou also shalt give no hire any more.
26-16:42 So
will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from
thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more
angry.
26-16:47 Yet
hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but,
as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
26-16:51 Neither
hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine
abominations more than they, and hast justified
thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.
26-16:52 Thou
also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that
thou hast committed more abominable than they:
they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou
confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.
26-16:63 That
thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward
thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
26-18:3 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall
not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
26-19:9 And
they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they
brought him into holds, that his voice should no more
be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
26-20:39 As
for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one
his idols, and hereafter also, if ye
will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
26-21:5 That
all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath:
it shall not return any more.
26-21:13 Because
it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall
be no more,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-21:27 I
will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it
is; and I will give it him.
26-21:32 Thou
shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land;
thou shalt be no more
remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
26-23:11 And
when her sister Aholibah saw this, she
was more corrupt in her inordinate love than
she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister
in her whoredoms.
26-23:27 Thus
will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that
thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.
26-24:13 In
thy filthiness is lewdness: because I
have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy
filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury
to rest upon thee.
26-24:27 In
that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt
speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a
sign unto them; and they shall know that I am
the LORD.
26-26:13 And
I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall
be no more heard.
26-26:14 And
I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-26:21 I
will make thee a terror, and thou shalt
be no more:
though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the
Lord GOD.
26-27:36 The
merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and
never shalt be any more.
26-28:19 All
they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be
a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
26-28:24 And
there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the
house of Israel, nor any grieving
thorn of all that are round about
them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-29:15 It
shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that
they shall no more rule over the nations.
26-29:16 And
it shall be no more the confidence of the house
of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity
to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-30:13 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and
there shall be no more a prince of the land of
Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.
26-32:13 I
will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither
shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor
the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
26-33:22 Now
the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped
came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth
was opened, and I was no more dumb.
26-34:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to
cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth,
that they may not be meat for them.
26-34:22 Therefore
will I save my flock, and they shall no more be
a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.
26-34:28 And
they shall no more be a prey to the heathen,
neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely,
and none shall make them afraid.
26-34:29 And
I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear
the shame of the heathen any more.
26-36:12 Yea,
I will cause men to walk upon you, even my
people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their
inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth
bereave them of men.
26-36:14 Therefore
thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave
thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:15 Neither
will I cause men to hear in thee the
shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt
thou bear the reproach of the people any more,
neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-36:30 And
I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye
shall receive no more reproach of famine among
the heathen.
26-37:22 And
I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one
king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more
two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
26-37:23 Neither
shall they defile themselves any more with their
idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but
I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and
will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
26-39:7 So
will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not
let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
26-39:28 Then
shall they know that I am the LORD
their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I
have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.
26-39:29 Neither
will I hide my face any more from them: for I
have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
26-42:6 For
they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the
pillars of the courts: therefore the
building was straitened more than the lowest
and the middlemost from the ground.
26-43:7 And
he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles
of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever,
and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more
defile, neither they, nor their
kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high
places.
26-45:8 In
the land shall be his possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house of Israel
according to their tribes.
27-2:30 But
as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any
living, but for their sakes that
shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know
the thoughts of thy heart.
27-3:19 Then
was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore
he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
27-7:20 And
of the ten horns that were in his
head, and of the other which came up,
and before whom three fell; even of that
horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more
stout than his fellows.
27-11:8 And
shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of
silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.
28-1:6 And
she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will
utterly take them away.
28-2:16 And
it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that
thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more
Baali.
28-2:17 For
I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
28-6:6 For
I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
28-9:15 All
their wickedness is in Gilgal: for
there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of
mine house, I will love them no more: all their
princes are revolters.
28-13:2 And
now they sin more and more,
and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work
of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
28-14:3 Asshur
shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
28-14:8 Ephraim
shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like
a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
29-2:2 A
day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as
the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath
not been ever the like, neither shall be any more
after it, even to the years of many
generations.
29-2:19 Yea,
the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and
wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
29-3:17 So
shall ye know that I am the LORD your
God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there
shall no strangers pass through her any more.
30-5:2 The
virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more
rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there
is none to raise her up.
30-7:8 And
the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then
said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel:
I will not again pass by them any more:
30-7:13 But
prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court.
30-8:2 And
he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said
the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again
pass by them any more.
30-9:15 And
I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more
be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
32-4:11 And
should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot
discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
33-4:3 And
he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they
shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:
nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war
any more.
33-5:12 And
I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:
33-5:13 Thy
graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of
thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of
thine hands.
34-1:12 Thus
saith the LORD; Though they be quiet,
and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through.
Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.
34-1:14 And
the LORD hath given a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown:
out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten
image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
34-1:15 Behold
upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth
peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall
no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut
off.
34-2:13 Behold,
I am against thee, saith the LORD of
hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour
thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of
thy messengers shall no more be heard.
35-1:8 Their
horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more
fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and
their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
35-1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold
evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that
deal treacherously, and holdest thy
tongue when the wicked devoureth the man
that is more righteous than he?
36-3:11 In
that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast
transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee
them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more
be haughty because of my holy mountain.
36-3:15 The
LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of
Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not
see evil any more.
38-9:8 And
I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth
by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them
any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
38-11:6 For
I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land,
saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s
hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of
their hand I will not deliver them.
38-13:2 And
it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the
idols out of the land, and they shall no more be
remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass
out of the land.
38-14:11 And
men shall dwell in it, and there
shall be no more utter destruction; but
Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
38-14:21 Yea,
every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts:
and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein:
and in that day there shall be no more the
Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
39-2:13 And
this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with
weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it
with good will at your hand.
40-5:37 But
let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
40-5:47 And
if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more
than others? do not even the
publicans so?
40-6:25 Therefore
I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye
shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
40-6:30 Wherefore,
if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast
into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you,
O ye of little faith?
40-7:11 If
ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good
things to them that ask him?
40-10:15 Verily
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for
the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
40-10:25 It
is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his
lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call
them of his household?
40-10:31 Fear
ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many
sparrows.
40-10:37 He
that loveth father or mother more than me is not
worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more
than me is not worthy of me.
40-11:9 But
what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
40-11:22 But
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for
Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
40-11:24 But
I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable
for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
40-12:45 Then
goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more
wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the
first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
40-13:12 For
whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall
be taken away even that he hath.
40-18:13 And
if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep,
than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
40-18:16 But
if he will not hear thee, then take
with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of
two or three witnesses every word may be established.
40-19:6 Wherefore
they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
40-20:10 But
when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
40-20:31 And
the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they
cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O
Lord, thou son of David.
40-21:36 Again,
he sent other servants more than the first: and
they did unto them likewise.
40-22:46 And
no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more
questions.
40-23:15 Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to
make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
40-25:20 And
so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents,
saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained
beside them five talents more.
40-26:53 Thinkest
thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
40-27:23 And
the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
41-1:45 But
he went out, and began to publish it much,
and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in
desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
41-4:24 And
he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall
be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more
be given.
41-6:11 And
whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off
the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you,
It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and
Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
41-7:12 And
ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father
or his mother;
41-7:36 And
he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more
he charged them, so much the more a great deal
they published it;
41-8:14 Now
the disciples had forgotten to take
bread, neither had they in the ship with them more
than one loaf.
41-9:8 And
suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
41-9:25 When
Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit,
saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf
spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more
into him.
41-10:8 And
they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more
twain, but one flesh.
41-10:48 And
many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou
son of David, have mercy on me.
41-12:33 And
to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all
the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more
than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
41-12:43 And
he called unto him his disciples, and
saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the
treasury:
41-14:5 For
it might have been sold for more than three
hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.
41-14:25 Verily
I say unto you, I will drink no more of the
fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
41-14:31 But
he spake the more vehemently, If I should die
with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.
41-15:14 Then
Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
42-3:13 And
he said unto them, Exact no more than that which
is appointed you.
42-5:15 But
so much the more went there a fame abroad of
him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of
their infirmities.
42-7:26 But
what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.
42-9:13 But
he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should
go and buy meat for all this people.
42-10:12 But
I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable
in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
42-10:14 But
it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at
the judgment, than for you.
42-10:35 And
on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him,
Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more,
when I come again, I will repay thee.
42-11:13 If
ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
42-11:26 Then
goeth he, and taketh to him seven
other spirits more wicked than himself; and they
enter in, and dwell there: and the last state
of that man is worse than the first.
42-12:4 And
I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after
that have no more that they can do.
42-12:7 But
even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are
of more value than many sparrows.
42-12:23 The
life is more than meat, and the body is more than
raiment.
42-12:24 Consider
the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor
barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye
better than the fowls?
42-12:28 If
then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is
cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little
faith?
42-12:48 But
he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with
few stripes. For unto whomsoever much
is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much,
of him they will ask the more.
42-14:8 When
thou art bidden of any man to a
wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more
honourable man than thou be bidden of him;
42-15:7 I
say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that
repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just
persons, which need no repentance.
42-15:19 And
am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me
as one of thy hired servants.
42-15:21 And
the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight,
and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
42-18:30 Who
shall not receive manifold more in this present
time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
42-18:39 And
they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried
so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
42-20:36 Neither
can they die any more: for they are equal unto
the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the
resurrection.
42-21:3 And
he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
42-22:16 For
I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof,
until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
42-22:44 And
being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his
sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
42-23:5 And
they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth
up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this
place.
43-4:1 When
therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and
baptized more disciples than John,
43-4:41 And
many more believed because of his own word;
43-5:14 Afterward
Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made
whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto
thee.
43-5:18 Therefore
the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he
not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making
himself equal with God.
43-6:66 From
that time many of his disciples went
back, and walked no more with him.
43-7:31 And
many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
43-8:11 She
said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and
sin no more.
43-10:10 The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
43-11:54 Jesus
therefore walked no more openly among the Jews;
but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called
Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
43-12:43 For
they loved the praise of men more than the
praise of God.
43-14:19 Yet
a little while, and the world seeth me no more;
but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
43-15:2 Every
branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth
it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
43-15:4 Abide
in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide
in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in
me.
43-16:10 Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
43-16:21 A
woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon
as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more
the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
43-16:25 These
things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no
more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall
shew you plainly of the Father.
43-17:11 And
now I am no more in the world, but these are in
the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those
whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
43-19:8 When
Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more
afraid;
43-21:15 So
when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than
these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith
unto him, Feed my lambs.
44-4:19 But
Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of
God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge
ye.
44-5:14 And
believers were the more added to the Lord,
multitudes both of men and women.)
44-8:39 And
when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away
Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he
went on his way rejoicing.
44-9:22 But
Saul increased the more in strength, and
confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
44-13:34 And
as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption,
he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
44-17:11 These
were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in
that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the
scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
44-18:26 And
he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had
heard, they took him unto them, and
expounded unto him the way of God more
perfectly.
44-19:32 Some
therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and
the more part knew not wherefore they were come
together.
44-20:25 And
now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom
of God, shall see my face no more.
44-20:35 I
have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak,
and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
44-20:38 Sorrowing
most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
44-22:2 (And
when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,)
44-23:13 And
they were more than forty which had made this
conspiracy.
44-23:15 Now
therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him
down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come
near, are ready to kill him.
44-23:20 And
he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul
to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
44-23:21 But
do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with
an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and
now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
44-24:10 Then
Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered,
Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation,
I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
44-24:22 And
when Felix heard these things, having more
perfect knowledge of that way, he
deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will
know the uttermost of your matter.
44-25:6 And
when he had tarried among them more than ten
days, he went down unto Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat
commanded Paul to be brought.
44-27:11 Nevertheless
the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.
44-27:12 And
because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more
part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to
Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth
toward the south west and north west.
45-1:25 Who
changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
45-2:18 And
knowest his will, and approvest the
things that are more excellent, being instructed
out of the law;
45-3:7 For
if the truth of God hath more abounded through
my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
45-5:9 Much
more then, being now justified by his blood, we
shall be saved from wrath through him.
45-5:10 For
if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved
by his life.
45-5:15 But
not as the offence, so also is the
free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath
abounded unto many.
45-5:17 For
if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more
they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall
reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
45-5:20 Moreover
the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace
did much more abound:
45-6:9 Knowing
that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more;
death hath no more dominion over him.
45-7:17 Now
then it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
45-7:20 Now
if I do that I would not, it is no more I that
do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
45-8:37 Nay,
in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.
45-11:6 And
if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it
be of works, then is it no more grace:
otherwise work is no more work.
45-11:12 Now
if the fall of them be the riches of
the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
45-11:24 For
if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert
grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own
olive tree?
45-12:3 For
I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to
think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think
soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
45-14:13 Let
us not therefore judge one another any more: but
judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
45-15:15 Nevertheless,
brethren, I have written the more boldly unto
you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to
me of God,
45-15:23 But
now having no more place in these parts, and
having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
46-6:3 Know
ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more
things that pertain to this life?
46-9:19 For
though I be free from all men, yet
have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
46-12:22 Nay,
much more those members of the body, which seem
to be more feeble, are necessary:
46-12:23 And
those members of the body, which we
think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more
abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have
more abundant comeliness.
46-12:24 For
our comely parts have no need: but
God hath tempered the body together, having given more
abundant honour to that part which lacked:
46-12:31 But
covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
46-14:18 I
thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye
all:
46-15:10 But
by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the
grace of God which was with me.
47-1:12 For
our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly
sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our
conversation in the world, and more abundantly
to you-ward.
47-2:4 For
out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears;
not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
47-3:9 For
if the ministration of condemnation be glory,
much more doth the ministration of righteousness
exceed in glory.
47-3:11 For
if that which is done away was glorious,
much more that which remaineth is glorious.
47-4:17 For
our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and
eternal weight of glory;
47-5:16 Wherefore
henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ
after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him
no more.
47-7:7 And
not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in
you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind
toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
47-7:13 Therefore
we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit
was refreshed by you all.
47-7:15 And
his inward affection is more abundant toward
you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and
trembling ye received him.
47-8:17 For
indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more
forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
47-8:22 And
we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in
many things, but now much more diligent, upon
the great confidence which I have in
you.
47-10:8 For
though I should boast somewhat more of our
authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your
destruction, I should not be ashamed:
47-11:23 Are
they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
47-12:15 And
I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
48-1:14 And
profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my
fathers.
48-3:18 For
if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more
of promise: but God gave it to
Abraham by promise.
48-4:7 Wherefore
thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a
son, then an heir of God through Christ.
48-4:27 For
it is written, Rejoice, thou barren
that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the
desolate hath many more children than she which
hath an husband.
49-2:19 Now
therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
49-4:14 That
we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
49-4:28 Let
him that stole steal no more: but rather let him
labour, working with his hands the
thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
50-1:9 And
this I pray, that your love may abound yet more
and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
50-1:14 And
many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
50-1:24 Nevertheless
to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
50-1:26 That
your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus
Christ for me by my coming to you again.
50-2:12 Wherefore,
my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with
fear and trembling.
50-2:28 I
sent him therefore the more carefully, that,
when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
50-3:4 Though
I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he
hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
52-2:17 But
we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart,
endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face
with great desire.
52-4:1 Furthermore
then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you
by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and
to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
52-4:10 And
indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we
beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and
more;
55-2:16 But
shun profane and vain babblings: for
they will increase unto more ungodliness.
55-3:4 Traitors,
heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God;
57-1:16 Not
now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but
how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and
in the Lord?
57-1:21 Having
confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
58-1:4 Being
made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
58-2:1 Therefore
we ought to give the more earnest heed to the
things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
58-3:3 For
this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded
the house hath more honour than the house.
58-6:17 Wherein
God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the
heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
58-7:15 And
it is yet far more evident: for that after the
similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
58-8:6 But
now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry,
by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established
upon better promises.
58-8:12 For
I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their
iniquities will I remember no more.
58-9:11 But
Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is
to say, not of this building;
58-9:14 How
much more shall the blood of Christ, who through
the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience
from dead works to serve the living God?
58-10:2 For
then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers
once purged should have had no more conscience
of sins.
58-10:17 And
their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
58-10:18 Now
where remission of these is, there is no
more offering for sin.
58-10:25 Not
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more,
as ye see the day approaching.
58-10:26 For
if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
58-11:4 By
faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent
sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God
testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
58-11:32 And
what shall I more say? for the time would fail
me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak,
and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of
the prophets:
58-12:19 And
the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken
to them any more:
58-12:25 See
that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him
that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
58-12:26 Whose
voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
58-12:27 And
this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are
shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken
may remain.
59-4:6 But
he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God
resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
60-1:7 That
the trial of your faith, being much more
precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be
found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
61-1:19 We
have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark
place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
66-2:19 I
know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy
works; and the last to be more than the first.
66-3:12 Him
that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go
no more out: and I will write upon him the name
of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my
God: and I will write upon him my new
name.
66-7:16 They
shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any
heat.
66-9:12 One
woe is past; and, behold, there come
two woes more hereafter.
66-12:8 And
prevailed not; neither was their place found any more
in heaven.
66-18:11 And
the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth
their merchandise any more:
66-18:14 And
the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things
which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them
no more at all.
66-18:21 And
a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with
violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
66-18:22 And
the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be
heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman,
of whatsoever craft he be, shall be
found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone
shall be heard no more at all in thee;
66-18:23 And
the light of a candle shall shine no more at all
in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great
men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
66-20:3 And
cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,
that he should deceive the nations no more, till
the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a
little season.
66-21:1 And
I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth
were passed away; and there was no more sea.
66-21:4 And
