01-GENESIS
01-16:10 And
the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that
it shall not be numbered for multitude.
01-28:3 And
God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou
mayest be a multitude of people;
01-30:30 For
it was little which thou hadst before
I came, and it is now increased unto a multitude; and the LORD hath blessed thee since my coming:
and now when shall I provide for mine own house also?
01-32:12 And
thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the
sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
01-48:4 And
said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will
make of thee a multitude of people; and will
give this land to thy seed after thee for
an everlasting possession.
01-48:16 The
Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named
on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a
multitude in the midst of the earth.
01-48:19 And
his father refused, and said, I know it, my
son, I know it: he also shall become
a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be
greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude
of nations.
02-12:38 And
a mixed multitude went up also with them; and
flocks, and herds, even very much
cattle.
02-23:2 Thou
shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a
cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
03-25:16 According
to the multitude of years thou shalt increase
the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish
the price of it: for according to the
number of the years of the fruits
doth he sell unto thee.
04-11:4 And
the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept
again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
04-32:1 Now
the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of
Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;
05-1:10 The
LORD your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
05-10:22 Thy
fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD
thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
05-28:62 And
ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of
the LORD thy God.
06-11:4 And
they went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the
sand that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very many.
07-4:7 And
I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army,
with his chariots and his multitude; and I will
deliver him into thine hand.
07-6:5 For
they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers
for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they
entered into the land to destroy it.
07-7:12 And
the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in
the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and
their camels were without number, as
the sand by the sea side for multitude.
09-13:5 And

thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash,
eastward from Bethaven.

the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and, behold, the multitude melted away, and they went on beating down one another.
10-6:19 And
he dealt among all the people, even among
the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the
women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed
every one to his house.
10-17:11 Therefore
I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to
Beersheba, as the sand that is by the
sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in
thine own person.
11-3:8 And
thy servant is in the midst of thy
people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor
counted for multitude.

and Israel were many, as the sand
which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

11-20:28 And
there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith
the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is
not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some
take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the
city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the
Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.
12-19:23 By
thy messengers thou hast reproached the Lord, and hast said, With the multitude of my chariots I am come up to the height of
the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, and will cut down the tall cedar trees
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.

the rest of the people that were left
in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the
remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the

14-1:9 Now,
O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast
made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.

king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him
before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered

Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them

name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against
thee.
14-20:2 Then
there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this
side Syria; and, behold, they be in
Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.
14-20:15 And
he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king
Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason
of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
14-20:24 And
when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
14-28:5 Wherefore
the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they
smote him, and carried away a great multitude of
them captives, and brought them to
Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who
smote him with a great slaughter.
14-30:18 For
a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not

strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor

it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel
all the mixed multitude.

of his children, and all the things wherein
the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and
servants of the king.
17-10:3 For
Mordecai the Jew was next unto king
Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his
people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
18-11:2 Should
not the multitude of words be answered? and
should a man full of talk be justified?
18-31:34 Did
I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of
families terrify me, that I kept silence, and
went not out of the door?
18-32:7 I
said, Days should speak, and multitude of years
should teach wisdom.
18-33:19 He
is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude
of his bones with strong pain:
18-35:9 By
reason of the multitude of oppressions they make
the oppressed to cry: they cry out by
reason of the arm of the mighty.
18-39:7 He
scorneth the multitude of the city, neither
regardeth he the crying of the driver.
19-5:7 But
as for me, I will come into thy house
in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward
thy holy temple.
19-5:10 Destroy
thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have
rebelled against thee.
19-33:16 There
is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a
mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
19-42:4 When
I remember these things, I pour out
my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude,
I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
19-49:6 They
that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
19-51:1 Have
mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my
transgressions.
19-68:30 Rebuke
the company of spearmen, the multitude of the
bulls, with the calves of the people, till
every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.
19-69:13 But
as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O
LORD, in an acceptable time: O God,
in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the
truth of thy salvation.
19-69:16 Hear
me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good:
turn unto me according to the multitude of thy
tender mercies.
19-74:19 O
deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude
of the wicked: forget not the
congregation of thy poor for ever.
19-94:19 In
the multitude of my thoughts within me thy
comforts delight my soul.
19-97:1 The
LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude
of isles be glad thereof.
19-106:7 Our
fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
19-106:45 And
he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
19-109:30 I
will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
20-10:19 In
the multitude of words there wanteth not sin:
but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
20-11:14 Where
no counsel is, the people fall: but
in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
20-14:28 In
the multitude of people is the king’s honour: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
20-15:22 Without
counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude
of counsellors they are established.
20-20:15 There
is gold, and a multitude of rubies: but the lips
of knowledge are a precious jewel.
20-24:6 For
by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude
of counsellors there is safety.
21-5:3 For
a dream cometh through the multitude of
business; and a fool’s voice is known by
multitude of words.
21-5:7 For
in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.
23-1:11 To
what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD:
I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I
delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
23-5:13 Therefore
my people are gone into captivity, because they
have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried
up with thirst.
23-5:14 Therefore
hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their
glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and
he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
23-13:4 The
noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as
of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered
together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
23-16:14 But
now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling,
and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
23-17:12 Woe
to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the
seas; and to the rushing of nations, that
make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!
23-29:5 Moreover
the multitude of thy strangers shall be like
small dust, and the multitude of the terrible
ones shall be as chaff that passeth
away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.
23-29:7 And
the multitude of all the nations that fight
against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that
distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.
23-29:8 It
shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth,
and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a
thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite:
so shall the multitude of all the nations be,
that fight against mount Zion.
23-31:4 For
thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring
on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is
called forth against him, he will not
be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the
LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
23-32:14 Because
the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of
the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy
of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
23-37:24 By
thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of
the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
23-47:9 But
these two things shall come to thee
in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come
upon thee in their perfection for the multitude
of thy sorceries, and for the great
abundance of thine enchantments.
23-47:12 Stand
now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude
of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou
shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
23-47:13 Thou
art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels.
Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up,
and save thee from these things that
shall come upon thee.
23-60:6 The
multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries
of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and
incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
23-63:7 I
will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath
bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he
hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
24-3:23 Truly
in vain is salvation hoped for from
the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.
24-10:13 When
he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the
vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain,
and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
24-12:6 For
even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt
treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude
after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.
24-30:14 All
thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee
with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
24-30:15 Why
criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of
thine iniquity: because thy sins were
increased, I have done these things unto thee.
24-44:15 Then
all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and
all the women that stood by, a great multitude,
even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered
Jeremiah, saying,
24-46:25 The
LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their
gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all
them that trust in him:
24-49:32 And
their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude
of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I
will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the LORD.
24-51:16 When
he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude
of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of
the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of
his treasures.
24-51:42 The
sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude
of the waves thereof.
24-52:15 Then
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people
that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of
Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
25-1:5 Her
adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her
for the multitude of her transgressions: her
children are gone into captivity before the enemy.
25-3:32 But
though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
26-7:11 Violence
is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude,
nor of any of theirs: neither shall there
be wailing for them.
26-7:12 The
time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller
mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
26-7:13 For
the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet
alive: for the vision is touching the
whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the
iniquity of his life.
26-7:14 They
have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle:
for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
26-14:4 Therefore
speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the
house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the
stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I
the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude
of his idols;
26-19:11 And
she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature
was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
26-23:42 And
a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the
common sort were brought Sabeans from
the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon
their heads.
26-27:12 Tarshish
was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind
of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.
26-27:16 Syria
was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in
thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral,
and agate.
26-27:18 Damascus
was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and
white wool.
26-27:33 When
thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst
enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude
of thy riches and of thy merchandise.
26-28:16 By
the multitude of thy merchandise they have
filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will
cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
26-28:18 Thou
hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of
thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth
a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to
ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
26-29:19 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude,
and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
26-30:4 And
the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the
slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.
26-30:10 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude
of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
26-30:15 And
I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
26-31:2 Son
of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude;
Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
26-31:5 Therefore
his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were
multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.
26-31:9 I
have made him fair by the multitude of his
branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
26-31:18 To
whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet
shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the
earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:12 By
the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude
to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the
pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof
shall be destroyed.
26-32:16 This
is the lamentation wherewith they
shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall
lament for her, even for Egypt, and
for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:18 Son
of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and
cast them down, even her, and the
daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them
that go down into the pit.
26-32:24 There
is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain,
fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of
the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they
borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
26-32:25 They
have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword:
though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne
their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.
26-32:26 There
is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword,
though they caused their terror in the land of the living.
26-32:31 Pharaoh
shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude,
even Pharaoh and all his army slain
by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-32:32 For
I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the
midst of the uncircumcised with them that
are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh
and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
26-39:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that I
will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the
passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.
26-47:9 And
it shall come to pass, that every
thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall
live: and there shall be a very great multitude
of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and
every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
27-10:6 His
body also was like the beryl, and his
face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms
and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like
the voice of a multitude.
27-11:10 But
his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude
of great forces: and one shall
certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be
stirred up, even to his fortress.
27-11:11 And
the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and
fight with him, even with the king of
the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude;
but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
27-11:12 And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall
cast down many ten thousands: but he
shall not be strengthened by it.
27-11:13 For
the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly
come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.
28-9:7 The
days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know
it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is
mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity,
and the great hatred.
28-10:1 Israel
is an empty vine, he bringeth forth
fruit unto himself: according to the multitude
of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his
land they have made goodly images.
28-10:13 Ye
have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of
lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude
of thy mighty men.
33-2:12 I
will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of
Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the
midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude
of men.
34-3:3 The
horseman lifteth up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude
of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is none end of their corpses;
they stumble upon their corpses:
34-3:4 Because
of the multitude of the whoredoms of the
wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through
her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.
38-2:4 And
said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be
inhabited as towns without walls for
the multitude of men and cattle therein:

40-15:10 And
he called the multitude, and said unto them,
Hear, and understand:

to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and
they glorified the God of Israel.
40-15:32 Then

him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.

he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great
multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and
sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by
the sea on the land.
