O,87 old
01-5:32 And
Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat
Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
01-6:4 There
were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of
God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became
mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
01-7:6 And
Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
01-11:10 These
are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:
01-12:4 So
Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and
Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
01-15:9 And
he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old,
and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of
three years old, and a turtledove, and a young
pigeon.
01-15:15 And
thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
01-16:16 And
Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
01-17:1 And
when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the
LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
01-17:12 And
he that is eight days old shall be circumcised
among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house,
or bought with money of any stranger, which is
not of thy seed.
01-17:17 Then
Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an
hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is
ninety years old, bear?
01-17:24 And
Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of
his foreskin.
01-17:25 And
Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his
foreskin.
01-18:11 Now
Abraham and Sarah were old and well
stricken in age; and it ceased to be
with Sarah after the manner of women.
01-18:12 Therefore
Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old
shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
01-18:13 And
the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a
surety bear a child, which am old?
01-19:4 But
before they lay down, the men of the city, even
the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old
and young, all the people from every quarter:
01-19:31 And
the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner
of all the earth:
01-21:2 For
Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old
age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
01-21:4 And
Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old,
as God had commanded him.
01-21:5 And
Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son
Isaac was born unto him.
01-21:7 And
she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children
suck? for I have born him a son in
his old age.
01-23:1 And
Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old:
these were the years of the life of
Sarah.
01-24:1 And
Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all
things.
01-24:36 And
Sarah my master’s wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath.
01-25:8 Then
Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old
age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
01-25:20 And
Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah
to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban
the Syrian.
01-25:26 And
after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his
name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore
years old when she bare them.
01-26:34 And
Esau was forty years old when he took to wife
Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon
the Hittite:
01-27:1 And
it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and
his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and
said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.
01-27:2 And
he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the
day of my death:
01-35:29 And
Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old
and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
01-37:2 These
are the generations of Jacob. Joseph,
being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the
lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and
with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father
their evil report.
01-37:3 Now
Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he
made him a coat of many colours.
01-41:46 And
Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And
Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land
of Egypt.
01-43:27 And
he asked them of their welfare, and
said, Is your father well, the old man of whom ye spake? Is he yet alive?
01-44:20 And
we said unto my lord, We have a father, an old
man, and a child of his old age, a little one;
and his brother is dead, and he alone is left of his mother, and his father
loveth him.
01-47:8 And
Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?
01-49:9 Judah
is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my
son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
01-50:26 So
Joseph died, being an hundred and ten
years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put
in a coffin in Egypt.
02-7:7 And
Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.
02-10:9 And
Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old,
with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will
we go; for we must hold a feast unto
the LORD.
02-30:14 Every
one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.
02-38:26 A
bekah for every man, that is, half a
shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be
numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for
six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
03-13:11 It
is an old
leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean,
and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
03-19:32 Thou
shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
03-25:22 And
ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet
of old fruit until the ninth year; until her
fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.
03-26:10 And
ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
03-27:3 And
thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old
even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation
shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
03-27:5 And
if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old,
then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten
shekels.
03-27:6 And
if it be from a month old even unto five years old,
then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the
female thy estimation shall be three
shekels of silver.
03-27:7 And
if it be from sixty years old and above; if it
be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female
ten shekels.
04-1:3 From
twenty years old and upward, all that are able
to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
04-1:18 And
they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after
their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the
names, from twenty years old and upward, by
their polls.
04-1:20 And
the children of Reuben, Israel’s eldest son, by their generations, after their
families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names,
by their polls, every male from twenty years old
and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:22 Of
the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the
house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the
number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:24 Of
the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house
of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:26 Of
the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house
of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:28 Of
the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house
of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:30 Of
the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the
house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years
old and upward, all that were able to go forth
to war;
04-1:32 Of
the children of Joseph, namely, of
the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the
house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years
old and upward, all that were able to go forth
to war;
04-1:34 Of
the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the
house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years
old and upward, all that were able to go forth
to war;
04-1:36 Of
the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the
house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years
old and upward, all that were able to go forth
to war;
04-1:38 Of
the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house
of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:40 Of
the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house
of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
04-1:42 Of
the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families,
by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from
twenty years old and upward, all that were able
to go forth to war;
04-1:45 So
were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of
their fathers, from twenty years old and upward,
all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
04-3:15 Number
the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every
male from a month old and upward shalt thou
number them.
04-3:22 Those
that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a
month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
04-3:28 In
the number of all the males, from a month old
and upward, were eight thousand and
six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
04-3:34 And
those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males,
from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
04-3:39 All
that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the
commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were
twenty and two thousand.
04-3:40 And
the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children
of Israel from a month old and upward, and take
the number of their names.
04-3:43 And
all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them,
were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
04-4:3 From
thirty years old and upward even until fifty
years old, all that enter into the host, to do
the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:23 From
thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to
perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:30 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old shalt thou number them, every one that
entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the
congregation.
04-4:35 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that entereth into the
service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
04-4:39 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that entereth into the
service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:43 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that entereth into the
service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-4:47 From
thirty years old and upward even unto fifty
years old, every one that came to do the service
of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the
congregation,
04-8:24 This
is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the
service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
04-14:29 Your
carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you,
according to your whole number, from twenty years old
and upward, which have murmured against me,
04-18:16 And
those that are to be redeemed from a month old
shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five
shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
04-26:2 Take
the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house, all
that are able to go to war in Israel.
04-26:4 Take the sum of the people, from twenty
years old and upward; as the LORD commanded
Moses and the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt.
04-26:62 And
those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from
a month old and upward: for they were not
numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given
them among the children of Israel.
04-32:11 Surely
none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto
Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
04-33:39 And
Aaron was an hundred and twenty and
three years old when he died in mount Hor.
05-2:20 (That
also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;
05-8:4 Thy
raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy
foot swell, these forty years.
05-19:14 Thou
shalt not remove thy neighbour’s landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou
shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it.
05-28:50 A
nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:
05-29:5 And
I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
05-31:2 And
he said unto them, I am an hundred
and twenty years old this day; I can no more go
out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this
Jordan.
05-32:7 Remember
the days of old, consider the years of many
generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will
tell thee.
05-34:7 And
Moses was an hundred and twenty years
old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his
natural force abated.
06-5:11 And
they did eat of the old corn of the land on the
morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.
06-5:12 And
the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of
Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that
year.
06-6:21 And
they utterly destroyed all that was in
the city, both man and woman, young and old, and
ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.
06-9:4 They
did work wilily, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;
06-9:5 And
old shoes and clouted upon their feet, and old garments upon them; and all the bread of their
provision was dry and mouldy.
06-9:13 And
these bottles of wine, which we filled, were
new; and, behold, they be rent: and these our garments and our shoes are
become old by reason of the very long journey.
06-13:1 Now
Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken
in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
06-14:7 Forty
years old was
I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out
the land; and I brought him word again as it
was in mine heart.
06-14:10 And
now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five
years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the
wilderness: and now, lo, I am this
day fourscore and five years old.
06-23:1 And
it came to pass a long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from
all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old
and stricken in age.
06-23:2 And
Joshua called for all Israel, and for
their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their
officers, and said unto them, I am old and stricken in age:
06-24:2 And
Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your
fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old
time, even Terah, the father of
Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
06-24:29 And
it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of
the LORD, died, being an hundred and
ten years old.
07-2:8 And
Joshua, the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.
07-6:25 And
it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s
young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old,
and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove
that is by it:
07-8:32 And
Gideon the son of Joash died in a good old age,
and was buried in the sepulchre of Joash his father, in Ophrah of the
Abiezrites.
07-19:16 And,
behold, there came an old man from his work out
of the field at even, which was also
of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.
07-19:17 And
when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the
city: and the old man said, Whither goest thou?
and whence comest thou?
07-19:20 And
the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all
thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not
in the street.
07-19:22 Now as they were making their hearts
merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house
round about, and beat at the door,
and spake to the master of the house, the old
man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know
him.
08-1:12 Turn
again, my daughters, go your way; for
I am too old to have an husband. If I should
say, I have hope, if I should have an
husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
08-4:15 And
he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life,
and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy
daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons,
hath borne him.
09-2:22 Now
Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons
did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation.
09-2:31 Behold,
the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s
house, that there shall not be an old man in
thine house.
09-2:32 And
thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation,
in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall
not be an old man in thine house for ever.
09-4:15 Now
Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes
were dim, that he could not see.
09-4:18 And
it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off
the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for
he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged
Israel forty years.
09-8:1 And
it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he
made his sons judges over Israel.
09-8:5 And
said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy
sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
09-12:2 And
now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old
and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with
you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
09-17:12 Now
David was the son of that Ephrathite
of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse;
and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.
09-27:8 And
David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and
the Amalekites: for those nations were of
old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest
to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
09-28:14 And
he said unto her, What form is he of?
And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul
perceived that it was Samuel, and he
stooped with his face to the ground,
and bowed himself.
10-2:10 Ishbosheth
Saul’s son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned
two years. But the house of Judah followed David.
10-4:4 And
Jonathan, Saul’s son, had a son that was lame
of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of
Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made
haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.
10-5:4 David
was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
10-19:32 Now
Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore
years old: and he had provided the king of
sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was
a very great man.
10-19:35 I
am this day fourscore years old: and can
I discern between good and evil? can thy servant taste what I eat or what I
drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women?
wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king?
10-20:18 Then
she spake, saying, They were wont to speak in old
time, saying, They shall surely ask counsel
at Abel: and so they ended the
matter.
11-1:1 Now
king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he
gat no heat.
11-1:15 And
Bathsheba went in unto the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite ministered unto the
king.
11-11:4 For
it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart
after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
11-12:6 And
king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that
stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise
that I may answer this people?
11-12:8 But
he forsook the counsel of the old men, which
they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with
him, and which stood before him:
11-12:13 And
the king answered the people roughly, and forsook the old
men’s counsel that they gave him;
11-13:11 Now
there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his
sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in
Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to
their father.
11-13:25 And,
behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion
standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet
dwelt.
11-13:29 And
the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass,
and brought it back: and the old prophet came to
the city, to mourn and to bury him.
11-14:21 And
Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he
began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the
LORD did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his
mother’s name was Naamah an
Ammonitess.
11-15:23 The
rest of all the acts of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the
cities which he built, are they not
written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? Nevertheless in
the time of his old age he was diseased in his
feet.

was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and
five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

he said, What then is to be done for
her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old.

and two years old was he when he began to reign;
and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

all the people of Judah took Azariah, which was
sixteen years old, and made him king instead
of his father Amaziah.

years old was he when he began to reign, and he
reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

and twenty years old was he when he began to
reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
12-16:2 Twenty
years old was
Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and
did not that which was right in the
sight of the LORD his God, like David his father.

and five years old was he when he began to
reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name

afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom
he married when he was threescore
years old; and she bare him Segub.
13-4:40 And
they found fat pasture and good, and the land was wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for they of Ham had dwelt there of old.
13-23:1 So
when David was old and full of days, he made
Solomon his son king over Israel.
13-23:27 For
by the last words of David the Levites were
numbered from twenty years old and above:
13-27:23 But
David took not the number of them from twenty years old
and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars
of the heavens.
13-29:28 And
he died in a good old age, full of days, riches,
and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
14-10:6 And
king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men that
had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, What counsel
give ye me to return answer to this
people?
14-10:8 But
he forsook the counsel which the old men gave
him, and took counsel with the young men that were brought up with him, that
stood before him.
14-10:13 And
the king answered them roughly; and king Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men,
14-12:13 So
king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen
years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of
Israel, to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess.

kings.

and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in

died; an hundred and thirty years old was he when he died.
14-25:1 Amaziah
was twenty and five years old when he
began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his
mother’s name was Jehoaddan of
Jerusalem.
14-25:5 Moreover
Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and
captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered
them from twenty years old and above, and found
them three hundred thousand choice men,
able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
14-26:1 Then
all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was
sixteen years old, and made him king in the
room of his father Amaziah.
14-26:3 Sixteen
years old was
Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in
Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jecoliah
of Jerusalem.

was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years

was five and twenty years old when he began to
reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.

was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen
years in Jerusalem: but he did not that
which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:
14-29:1 Hezekiah
began to reign when he was five and
twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty
years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was
Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
14-31:16 Beside
their genealogy of males, from three years old
and upward, even unto every one that
entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in
their charges according to their courses;
14-31:17 Both
to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites
from twenty years old and upward, in their
charges by their courses;
14-33:1 Manasseh
was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and
five years in Jerusalem:
14-33:21 Amon
was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in
Jerusalem.
14-34:1 Josiah
was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in
Jerusalem one and thirty years.

was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three
months in Jerusalem.
14-36:5 Jehoiakim
was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven
years in Jerusalem: and he did that which
was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
14-36:9 Jehoiachin
was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three
months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
14-36:11 Zedekiah
was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years
in Jerusalem.
14-36:17 Therefore
he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with
the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man
or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age:
he gave them all into his hand.
15-3:8 Now
in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the
second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak,
and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they
that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites,
from twenty years old and upward, to set forward
the work of the house of the LORD.
15-4:15 That
search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou
find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and
that they have moved sedition within the same of old
time: for which cause was this city destroyed.
15-4:19 And
I commanded, and search hath been made, and it is found that this city of old time hath made insurrection against kings, and that rebellion and sedition have been
made therein.
16-3:6 Moreover
the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of
Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and
set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
16-9:21 Yea,
forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.
16-12:39 And
from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old
gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of
Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
16-12:46 For
in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and
songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
17-3:13 And
the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to
kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old,
little children and women, in one day, even
upon the thirteenth day of the
twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to
take the spoil of them for a prey.
18-4:11 The
old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the
stout lion’s whelps are scattered abroad.
18-14:8 Though
the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the
stock thereof die in the ground;
18-20:4 Knowest
thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,
18-21:7 Wherefore
do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty
in power?
18-22:15 Hast
thou marked the old way which wicked men have
trodden?
18-30:2 Yea,
whereto might the strength of their
hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?
18-32:6 And
Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very
old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew
you mine opinion.
18-42:17 So
Job died, being old and full of days.
19-6:7 Mine
eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old
because of all mine enemies.
19-25:6 Remember,
O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
19-32:3 When
I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my
roaring all the day long.
19-37:25 I
have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor
his seed begging bread.
19-44:1 We
have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
19-55:19 God
shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old.
Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
19-68:33 To
him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out
his voice, and that a mighty voice.
19-71:9 Cast
me not off in the time of old age; forsake me
not when my strength faileth.
19-71:18 Now
also when I am old and grayheaded, O God,
forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy
power to every one that is to come.
19-74:2 Remember
thy congregation, which thou hast
purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount
Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
19-74:12 For
God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
19-77:5 I
have considered the days of old, the years of
ancient times.
19-77:11 I
will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.
19-78:2 I
will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
19-92:14 They
shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they
shall be fat and flourishing;
19-93:2 Thy
throne is established of old: thou art from
everlasting.
19-102:25 Of
old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth:
and the heavens are the work of thy
hands.
19-102:26 They
shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change
them, and they shall be changed:
19-119:52 I
remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and
have comforted myself.
19-119:152 Concerning
thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou
hast founded them for ever.
19-143:5 I
remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy
works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
19-148:12 Both
young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
20-8:22 The
LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
20-17:6 Children’s
children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
20-20:29 The
glory of young men is their strength:
and the beauty of old men is the gray head.
20-22:6 Train
up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old,
he will not depart from it.
20-23:10 Remove
not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields
of the fatherless:
20-23:22 Hearken
unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.
21-1:10 Is
there any thing whereof it may be
said, See, this is new? it hath been
already of old time, which was before us.
21-4:13 Better
is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
22-7:13 The
mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are
all manner of pleasant fruits, new
and old, which
I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.
23-15:5 My
heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall
flee unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old:
for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the
way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.
23-20:4 So
shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians
captives, young and old, naked and barefoot,
even with their buttocks uncovered,
to the shame of Egypt.
23-22:11 Ye
made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker
thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
23-25:1 O
LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee,
I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
23-30:6 The
burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from
whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they
will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures
upon the bunches of camels, to a people that
shall not profit them.
23-30:33 For
Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is
fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone,
doth kindle it.
23-43:18 Remember
ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
23-46:4 And
even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar
hairs will I carry you: I have made,
and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
23-46:9 Remember
the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God,
and there is none like me,
23-50:9 Behold,
the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all
shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat
them up.
23-51:6 Lift
up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens
shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old
like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my
salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
23-51:9 Awake,
awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in
the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
23-57:11 And
of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not
remembered me, nor laid it to thy
heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and
thou fearest me not?
23-58:12 And
they that shall be of thee shall
build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up
the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of
the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
23-61:4 And
they shall build the old wastes, they shall
raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the
desolations of many generations.
23-63:9 In
all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them:
in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried
them all the days of old.
23-63:11 Then
he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that
brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within
him?
23-65:20 There
shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old
man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
24-2:20 For
of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I
will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou
wanderest, playing the harlot.
24-6:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is
the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But
they said, We will not walk therein.
24-28:8 The
prophets that have been before me and before thee of old
prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and
of evil, and of pestilence.
24-31:3 The
LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an
everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
24-31:13 Then
shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy,
and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
24-38:11 So
Ebedmelech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the
treasury, and took thence old cast clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the
dungeon to Jeremiah.
24-38:12 And
Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these old cast clouts and rotten
rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
24-46:26 And
I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the
hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and
afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old,
saith the LORD.
24-48:34 From
the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh,
and even unto Jahaz, have they
uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto
Horonaim, as an heifer of three years
old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be
desolate.
24-51:22 With
thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in
pieces old and young; and with thee will I break
in pieces the young man and the maid;
24-52:1 Zedekiah
was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven
years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was
Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
25-1:7 Jerusalem
remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant
things that she had in the days of old, when her
people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries
saw her, and did mock at her
sabbaths.
25-2:17 The
LORD hath done that which he had
devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he
hath caused thine enemy to rejoice
over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.
25-2:21 The
young and the old lie on the ground in the
streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou
hast killed, and not pitied.
25-3:4 My
flesh and my skin hath he made old: he hath
broken my bones.
25-3:6 He
hath set me in dark places, as they that
be dead of old.
25-5:21 Turn
thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
26-9:6 Slay
utterly old and
young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any
man upon whom is the mark; and begin
at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
26-23:43 Then
said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with
her, and she with them?
26-25:15 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have
taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
26-26:20 When
I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of
old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of
the earth, in places desolate of old, with them
that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in
the land of the living;
26-36:11 And
I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring
fruit: and I will settle you after your old
estates, and will do better unto you than
at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-38:17 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of
whom I have spoken in old time by my servants
the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
27-5:31 And
Darius the Median took the kingdom, being
about threescore and two years old.
29-1:2 Hear
this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye
inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of
your fathers?
29-2:28 And
it shall come to pass afterward, that I
will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your
young men shall see visions:
30-9:11 In
that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up
the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in
the days of old:
33-5:2 But
thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou
be little among the thousands of Judah, yet
out of thee shall he come forth unto me that
is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from
everlasting.
33-6:6 Wherewith
shall I come before the LORD, and bow
myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with
calves of a year old?
33-7:14 Feed
thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let
them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in
the days of old.
33-7:20 Thou
wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the
mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
34-2:8 But
Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look
back.
34-2:11 Where
is the dwelling of the lions, and the
feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion’s whelp, and none made them afraid?
38-8:4 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men
and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem,
and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.
39-3:4 Then
shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the
days of old, and as in former years.
40-2:16 Then
Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and
sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the
coasts thereof, from two years old and under,
according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
40-5:21 Ye
have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the
judgment:
40-5:27 Ye
have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shalt not commit adultery:
40-5:33 Again,
ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old
time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine
oaths:
40-9:16 No
man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old
garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and
the rent is made worse.
40-9:17 Neither
do men put new wine into old bottles: else the
bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put
new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
40-13:52 Then
said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which
is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth
forth out of his treasure things new
and old.
