01-GENESIS
01-15:15 And
thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou
shalt be buried in a good old age.
01-24:21 And
the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit
whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.
01-26:29 That
thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee
nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace:
thou art now the blessed of the LORD.
01-26:31 And
they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent
them away, and they departed from him in peace.
01-28:21 So
that I come again to my father’s house in peace;
then shall the LORD be my God:
01-34:5 And
Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his
cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace
until they were come.
01-41:16 And
Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not
in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
01-43:23 And
he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath
given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out
unto them.
01-44:17 And
he said, God forbid that I should do so: but
the man in whose hand the cup is found, he shall be my servant; and as for
you, get you up in peace unto your father.
02-4:18 And
Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me
go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to
Moses, Go in peace.
02-14:14 The
LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
02-18:23 If
thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall
also go to their place in peace.
02-20:24 An
altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt
offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep,
and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and
I will bless thee.
02-24:5 And
he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and
sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the
LORD.
02-29:28 And
it shall be Aaron’s and his sons’ by a statute for ever from the children of
Israel: for it is an heave offering:
and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice
of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the LORD.
02-32:6 And
they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to
drink, and rose up to play.
03-3:1 And
if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be
a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.
03-3:3 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace
offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the
inwards, and all the fat that is upon
the inwards,
03-3:6 And
if his offering for a sacrifice of peace
offering unto the LORD be of the
flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
03-3:9 And
he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace
offering an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off
hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat
that is upon the inwards,
03-4:10 As
it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace
offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.
03-4:26 And
he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an
atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-4:31 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the
sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest
shall burn it upon the altar for a
sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and
it shall be forgiven him.
03-4:35 And
he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away
from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and
the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by
fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he
hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
03-6:12 And
the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and
the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in
order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
03-7:11 And
this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
03-7:13 Besides
the cakes, he shall offer for his
offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.
03-7:14 And
of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.
03-7:15 And
the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace
offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he
shall not leave any of it until the morning.
03-7:18 And
if any of the flesh of the sacrifice
of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the
third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that
offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall
bear his iniquity.
03-7:20 But
the soul that eateth of the flesh of
the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness
upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:21 Moreover
the soul that shall touch any unclean thing,
as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean
beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and
eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace
offerings, which pertain unto the
LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
03-7:29 Speak
unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation
unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace
offerings.
03-7:32 And
the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.
03-7:33 He
among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
03-7:34 For
the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel
from off the sacrifices of their peace
offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a
statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
03-7:37 This
is the law of the burnt offering, of
the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and
of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace
offerings;
03-9:4 Also
a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to
sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the
LORD will appear unto you.
03-9:18 He
slew also the bullock and the ram for a
sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron’s sons
presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,
03-9:22 And
Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from
offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
03-10:3 Then
Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that
the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and
before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.
03-10:14 And
the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy
sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they
be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are
given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings
of the children of Israel.
03-17:5 To
the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they
offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace
offerings unto the LORD.
03-19:5 And
if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto
the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.
03-22:21 And
whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace
offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his
vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be
accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.
03-23:19 Then
ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of
the first year for a sacrifice of peace
offerings.
03-26:6 And
I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie
down, and none shall make you afraid:
and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through
your land.
04-6:14 And
he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year
without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year
without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,
04-6:17 And
he shall offer the ram for a
sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with
the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering,
and his drink offering.
04-6:18 And
the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take
the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under
the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
04-6:26 The
LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
04-7:17 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nahshon the son of
Amminadab.
04-7:23 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Nethaneel the son of
Zuar.
04-7:29 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliab the son of
Helon.
04-7:35 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elizur the son of
Shedeur.
04-7:41 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Shelumiel the son of
Zurishaddai.
04-7:47 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Eliasaph the son of
Deuel.
04-7:53 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Elishama the son of
Ammihud.
04-7:59 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Gamaliel the son of
Pedahzur.
04-7:65 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Abidan the son of
Gideoni.
04-7:71 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahiezer the son of
Ammishaddai.
04-7:77 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Pagiel the son of
Ocran.
04-7:83 And
for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen,
five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahira the son of
Enan.
04-7:88 And
all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace
offerings were twenty and four
bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year
sixty. This was the dedication of the
altar, after that it was anointed.
04-10:10 Also
in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of
your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and
over the sacrifices of your peace offerings;
that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
04-15:8 And
when thou preparest a bullock for a
burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in
performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the
LORD:
04-25:12 Wherefore
say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:
04-29:39 These
things ye shall do unto the LORD in your
set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt
offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for
your peace offerings.
04-30:4 And
her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and
her father shall hold his peace at her: then all
her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall
stand.
04-30:7 And
her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her
bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
04-30:11 And
her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and
disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith
she bound her soul shall stand.
04-30:14 But
if her husband altogether hold his peace at her
from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them,
because he held his peace at her in the day that
he heard them.
05-2:26 And
I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon
with words of peace, saying,
05-20:10 When
thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
05-20:11 And
it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace,
and open unto thee, then it shall be, that
all the people that is found
therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
05-20:12 And
if it will make no peace with thee, but will
make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
05-23:6 Thou
shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity
all thy days for ever.
05-27:7 And
thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat
there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
05-29:19 And
it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself
in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though
I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
06-8:31 As
Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is written
in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which no man
hath lift up any iron: and they
offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.
06-9:15 And
Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with
them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.
06-10:1 Now
it came to pass, when Adonizedec king of Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had
taken Ai, and had utterly destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king,
so he had done to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them;
06-10:4 Come
up unto me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon: for it hath made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.
06-10:21 And
all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace: none moved his tongue against any of the
children of Israel.
06-11:19 There
was not a city that made peace with the children
of Israel, save the Hivites the inhabitants of Gibeon: all other they took in battle.
06-22:23 That
we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or if to offer
thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it;
06-22:27 But
that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings,
and with our sacrifices, and with our peace
offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye
have no part in the LORD.
07-4:17 Howbeit
Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite:
for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the
Kenite.
07-6:23 And
the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not
die.
07-8:9 And
he spake also unto the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.
07-11:31 Then
it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me,
when I return in peace from the children of
Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.
07-18:6 And
the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before
the LORD is your way wherein ye go.
07-18:19 And
they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine
hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest
unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family
in Israel?
07-19:20 And
the old man said, Peace be with thee; howsoever let all
thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not
in the street.
07-20:26 Then
all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house
of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until
even, and offered burnt offerings and peace
offerings before the LORD.
07-21:4 And
it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an
altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace
offerings.
09-1:17 Then
Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God
of Israel grant thee thy petition
that thou hast asked of him.
09-7:14 And
the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel,
from Ekron even unto Gath; and the coasts thereof did Israel deliver out of the
hands of the Philistines. And there was peace
between Israel and the Amorites.
09-10:8 And
thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto
thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to
sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven
days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
09-10:27 But
the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him,
and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.
09-11:15 And
all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in
Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace
offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced
greatly.
09-13:9 And
Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace
offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.
09-20:7 If
he say thus, It is well; thy servant
shall have peace: but if he be very wroth, then be sure that evil is determined by
him.
09-20:13 The
LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it
thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace:
and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father.
09-20:21 And,
behold, I will send a lad, saying, Go,
find out the arrows. If I expressly say unto the lad, Behold, the arrows are on this side of thee, take them;
then come thou: for there is peace to thee, and no hurt; as the LORD liveth.
09-20:42 And
Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch
as we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD be
between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose and
departed: and Jonathan went into the city.
09-25:6 And
thus shall ye say to him that liveth in
prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto
all that thou hast.
09-25:35 So
David received of her hand that which
she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace
to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy
person.
09-29:7 Wherefore
now return, and go in peace, that thou displease
not the lords of the Philistines.
10-3:21 And
Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my
lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest
reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he
went in peace.
10-3:22 And,
behold, the servants of David and Joab came from pursuing a troop, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner
was not with David in Hebron; for he
had sent him away, and he was gone in peace.
10-3:23 When
Joab and all the host that was with
him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king,
and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in peace.
10-6:17 And
they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of
the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings
and peace offerings before the LORD.
10-6:18 And
as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of
the LORD of hosts.
10-10:19 And
when all the kings that were servants
to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians
feared to help the children of Ammon any more.
10-13:20 And
Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but
hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing.
So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.
10-15:9 And
the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he
arose, and went to Hebron.
10-15:27 The
king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art
not thou a seer? return into the city in peace,
and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.
10-17:3 And
I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in peace.
10-19:24 And
Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither
dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the
king departed until the day he came again
in peace.
10-19:30 And
Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord
the king is come again in peace unto his own
house.
10-24:25 And
David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the
land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.
11-2:5 Moreover
thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto
Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed
the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of
war upon his girdle that was about
his loins, and in his shoes that were on
his feet.
11-2:6 Do
therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the
grave in peace.
11-2:33 Their
blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his
seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon
his throne, shall there be peace for ever from
the LORD.
11-3:15 And
Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a
dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of
the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace
offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.
11-4:24 For
he had dominion over all the region on
this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this
side the river: and he had peace on all sides
round about him.
11-5:12 And
the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a
league together.
11-8:63 And
Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings,
which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred
and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated
the house of the LORD.
11-8:64 The
same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD for there he offered burnt
offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace
offerings: because the brasen altar that was
before the LORD was too little to
receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.
11-9:25 And
three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the
LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.
11-20:18 And
he said, Whether they be come out for peace,
take them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take them alive.
11-22:17 And
he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a
shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to
his house in peace.
11-22:27 And
say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow
in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of
affliction, until I come in peace.
11-22:28 And
Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the
LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.
11-22:44 And
Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.
12-2:3 And
the sons of the prophets that were at
Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will
take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.
12-2:5 And
the sons of the prophets that were at
Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take
away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.
12-5:19 And
he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed
from him a little way.
12-7:9 Then
they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace:
if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now
therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
12-9:17 And
there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of
Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman,
and send to meet them, and let him say, Is
it peace?
12-9:18 So
there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace?
And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace?
turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them,
but he cometh not again.
12-9:19 Then
he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, Thus saith the
king, Is it peace?
And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace?
turn thee behind me.
12-9:22 And
it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered,
What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy
mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so
many?
12-9:31 And
as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had
Zimri peace, who slew his master?
12-16:13 And
he burnt his burnt offering and his meat offering, and poured his drink
offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace
offerings, upon the altar.
12-18:36 But
the people held their peace, and answered him
not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
12-20:19 Then
said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the
word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?
12-22:20 Behold
therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into
thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see
all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word
again.
13-12:18 Then
the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief
of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son
of Jesse: peace, peace
be unto thee, and peace be to
thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made
them captains of the band.
13-16:1 So
they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had
pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace
offerings before God.
13-16:2 And
when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of
the LORD.
13-19:19 And
when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before
Israel, they made peace with David, and became
his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
13-21:26 And
David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the LORD; and he
answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering.
13-22:9 Behold,
a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him
rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I
will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his
days.
14-7:7 Moreover
Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt
offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because
the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt
offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
14-15:5 And
in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in,
but great vexations were upon all the
inhabitants of the countries.
14-18:16 Then
he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have
no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace.
14-18:26 And
say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow
in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of
affliction, until I return in peace.
14-18:27 And
Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace,
then hath not the LORD spoken by me. And
he said, Hearken, all ye people.
14-19:1 And
Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace
to Jerusalem.
14-29:35 And
also the burnt offerings were in
abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings,
and the drink offerings for every burnt
offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
14-30:22 And
Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge
of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God
of their fathers.
14-31:2 And
Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their
courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt
offerings and for peace offerings, to minister,
and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
14-33:16 And
he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded
Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
14-34:28 Behold,
I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil that
I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they
brought the king word again.
15-4:17 Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum
the chancellor, and to Shimshai the
scribe, and to the rest of their
companions that dwell in Samaria, and unto
the rest beyond the river, Peace, and at
such a time.
15-5:7 They
sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.
15-7:12 Artaxerxes,
king of kings, unto Ezra the priest, a scribe of the law of the God of heaven,
perfect peace,
and at such a time.
15-9:12 Now
therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters
unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their
wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave
it for an inheritance to your
children for ever.
16-5:8 And
I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews,
which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall
they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace,
and found nothing to answer.
16-8:11 So
the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace,
for the day is holy; neither be ye
grieved.
17-4:14 For
if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this
time, then shall there enlargement
and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s
house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom
for such a time as this?
17-9:30 And
he sent the letters unto all the Jews, to the hundred twenty and seven
provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with
words of peace and truth,
17-10:3 For
Mordecai the Jew was next unto king
Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his
brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
18-5:23 For
thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the
field shall be at peace with thee.
18-5:24 And
thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall
be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy
habitation, and shalt not sin.
18-11:3 Should
thy lies make men hold their peace? and when
thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
18-13:5 O
that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it
should be your wisdom.
18-13:13 Hold
your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and
let come on me what will.
18-22:21 Acquaint
now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby
good shall come unto thee.
18-25:2 Dominion
and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
18-29:10 The
nobles held their peace, and their tongue
cleaved to the roof of their mouth.
18-33:31 Mark
well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace,
and I will speak.
18-33:33 If
not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I
shall teach thee wisdom.
19-4:8 I
will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for
thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
19-7:4 If
I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace
with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
19-28:3 Draw
me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
19-29:11 The
LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
19-34:14 Depart
from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue
it.
19-35:20 For
they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful
matters against them that are quiet
in the land.
19-37:11 But
the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance
of peace.
19-37:37 Mark
the perfect man, and behold the
upright: for the end of that man is peace.
19-39:2 I
was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was
stirred.
19-39:12 Hear
my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a
sojourner, as all my fathers were.
19-55:18 He
hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many
with me.
19-55:20 He
hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace
with him: he hath broken his covenant.
19-72:3 The
mountains shall bring peace to the people, and
the little hills, by righteousness.
19-72:7 In
his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
19-83:1 Keep
not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and
be not still, O God.
19-85:8 I
will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them
not turn again to folly.
19-85:10 Mercy
and truth are met together; righteousness and peace
have kissed each other.
19-109:1 Hold
not thy peace, O God of my praise;
19-119:165 Great
peace have they which love thy law: and nothing
shall offend them.
19-120:6 My
soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
19-120:7 I
am for peace:
but when I speak, they are for war.
19-122:6 Pray
for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper
that love thee.
19-122:7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
19-122:8 For
my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace
be within thee.
19-125:5 As
for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth
with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon
Israel.
19-128:6 Yea,
thou shalt see thy children’s children, and
peace upon Israel.
19-147:14 He
maketh peace in
thy borders, and filleth thee with
the finest of the wheat.
20-3:2 For
length of days, and long life, and peace, shall
they add to thee.
20-3:17 Her
ways are ways of pleasantness, and
all her paths are peace.
20-7:14 I have peace
offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.
20-11:12 He
that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding
holdeth his peace.
20-12:20 Deceit
is in the heart of them that imagine
evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
20-16:7 When
a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
20-17:28 Even
a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted
wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
21-3:8 A
time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
23-9:6 For
unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be
upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The
mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
23-9:7 Of
the increase of his government and peace there
shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order
it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for
ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
23-26:3 Thou
wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind
is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
23-26:12 LORD,
thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also
hast wrought all our works in us.
23-27:5 Or
let him take hold of my strength, that he
may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
23-32:17 And
the work of righteousness shall be peace; and
the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
23-33:7 Behold,
their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
23-36:21 But
they held their peace, and answered him not a
word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
23-38:17 Behold,
for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast
in love to my soul delivered it from
the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
23-39:8 Then
said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the
word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
23-42:14 I
have long time holden my peace; I have been
still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman;
I will destroy and devour at once.
23-45:7 I
form the light, and create darkness: I make peace,
and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
23-48:18 O
that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the
waves of the sea:
23-48:22 There is no peace,
saith the LORD, unto the wicked.
23-52:7 How
beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace; that bringeth good
tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God
reigneth!
23-53:5 But
he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed.
23-54:10 For
the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not
depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace
be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
23-54:13 And
all thy children shall be taught of
the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
23-55:12 For
ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:
the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all
the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
23-57:2 He
shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their
beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
23-57:11 And
of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not
remembered me, nor laid it to thy
heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and
thou fearest me not?
23-57:19 I
create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him
that is far off, and to him that is near,
saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
23-57:21 There is no peace,
saith my God, to the wicked.
23-59:8 The
way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings:
they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
23-60:17 For
brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass,
and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace,
and thine exactors righteousness.
23-62:1 For
Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for
Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as
brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
23-62:6 I
have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace
day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence.
23-64:12 Wilt
thou refrain thyself for these things, O
LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us
very sore?
23-66:12 For
thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace
to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then
shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her
sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
24-4:10 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and
Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas
the sword reacheth unto the soul.
24-4:19 My
bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me;
I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard,
O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.
24-6:14 They
have healed also the hurt of the daughter
of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there
is no peace.
24-8:11 For
they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
24-8:15 We
looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and
behold trouble!
24-12:5 If
thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou
contend with horses? and if in the
land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they
wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
24-12:12 The
spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of
the LORD shall devour from the one end
of the land even to the other end of
the land: no flesh shall have peace.
24-14:13 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the
sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.
24-14:19 Hast
thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul loathed Zion? why hast thou smitten
us, and there is no healing for us?
we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!
24-16:5 For
thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament
nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace
from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness
and mercies.
24-23:17 They
say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after
the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
24-28:9 The
prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the
word of the prophet shall come to pass, then
shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.
24-29:7 And
seek the peace of the city whither I have caused
you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
24-29:11 For
I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
24-30:5 For
thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
24-33:6 Behold,
I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto
them the abundance of peace and truth.
24-34:5 But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the
former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odours for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
24-43:12 And
I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn
them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of
Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence
in peace.
25-3:17 And
thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I
forgat prosperity.
26-7:25 Destruction
cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26-13:10 Because,
even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace;
and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed
it with untempered morter:
26-13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which
prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no
peace, saith the Lord GOD.
26-34:25 And
I will make with them a covenant of peace, and
will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell
safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
26-37:26 Moreover
I will make a covenant of peace with them; it
shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply
them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
26-43:27 And
when these days are expired, it shall be, that
upon the eighth day, and so forward,
the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord
GOD.
26-45:15 And
one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of
Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them,
saith the Lord GOD.
26-45:17 And
it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt
offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the
new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he
shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering,
and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation
for the house of Israel.
26-46:2 And
the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the
priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace
offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go
forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.
26-46:12 Now
when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, one shall then open him the gate that
looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he
shall go forth; and after his going forth one
shall shut the gate.
27-4:1 Nebuchadnezzar
the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth;
Peace be multiplied unto you.
27-6:25 Then
king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all
the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
27-8:25 And
through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he
shall magnify himself in his heart,
and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also
stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
27-10:19 And
said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong.
And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord
speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
30-5:22 Though
ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
31-1:7 All
the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace
with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed
against thee; they that eat thy bread
have laid a wound under thee: there is none
understanding in him.
33-3:5 Thus
saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with
their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth
not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
33-5:5 And
this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and
when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven
shepherds, and eight principal men.
34-1:15 Behold
upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy
vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.
36-1:7 Hold
thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for
the day of the LORD is at hand: for
the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
37-2:9 The
glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD
of hosts: and in this place will I give peace,
saith the LORD of hosts.
38-6:13 Even
he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall
sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the
counsel of peace shall be between them both.
38-8:10 For
before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace
to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men
every one against his neighbour.
38-8:16 These
are the things that ye shall do;
Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth
and peace in your gates:
38-8:19 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and
the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and
cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
38-9:10 And
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the
battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace
unto the heathen: and his dominion shall
be from sea even to sea, and from
the river even to the ends of the
earth.
39-2:5 My
covenant was with him of life and peace; and I
gave them to him for the fear
wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
39-2:6 The
law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he
walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn
many away from iniquity.
40-10:13 And
if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon
it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return
to you.
40-10:34 Think
not that I am come to send peace on earth: I
came not to send peace, but a sword.
40-20:31 And
the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on
us, O Lord, thou son of David.
40-26:63 But
Jesus held his peace. And the high priest
answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us
whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
41-1:25 And
Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and
come out of him.
41-3:4 And
he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil?
to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
41-4:39 And
he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace,
be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
41-5:34 And
he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
41-9:34 But
they held their peace: for by the way they had
disputed among themselves, who should be the
greatest.
41-9:50 Salt
is good: but if the salt have lost
his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
41-10:48 And
many charged him that he should hold his peace: but
he cried the more a great deal, Thou son
of David, have mercy on me.
41-14:61 But
he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again
the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of
the Blessed?
42-1:79 To
give light to them that sit in darkness and in
the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
42-2:14 Glory
to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good
will toward men.
42-2:29 Lord,
now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace,
according to thy word:
42-4:35 And
Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and
come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of
him, and hurt him not.
42-7:50 And
he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
42-8:48 And
he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole;
go in peace.
42-10:5 And
into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace
be to this house.
42-10:6 And
