01-26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD
blessed him.
02-32:4 And
he received them
at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a
molten calf: and they said, These be thy
gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
02-36:3 And
they received of Moses all the offering, which
the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the
sanctuary, to make it withal. And
they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
04-12:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father
had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut
out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
04-23:20 Behold, I have received commandment
to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
04-34:14 For the tribe of the children of
Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children
of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received
their inheritance; and half the tribe
of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
04-34:15 The two tribes and the half tribe
have received their inheritance on this side
Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward
the sunrising.
04-36:3 And if they be married to any of the
sons of the other tribes of the
children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance
of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they
are received: so shall it be taken from the lot
of our inheritance.
04-36:4 And when the jubile of the children of
Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of
the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall
their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our
fathers.
06-13:8 With whom the Reubenites and the
Gadites have received their inheritance, which
Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even
as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
06-18:2 And there remained among the
children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received
their inheritance.
06-18:7 But the Levites have no part among
you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their
inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east,
which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.
07-13:23 But his wife said unto him, If the
LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received
a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed
us all these things, nor would as at
this time have told us such things as
these.
09-12:3 Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose
ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have
I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith?
and I will restore it you.
09-25:35 So David received
of her hand that which she had
brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have
hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person.
11-10:28 And Solomon had horses brought out of
Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received
the linen yarn at a price.
12-19:14 And Hezekiah received
the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up
into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
13-12:18 Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth
thee. Then David received them, and made them
captains of the band.
14-1:16 And Solomon had horses brought out
of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received
the linen yarn at a price.
14-4:5 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it
like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received
and held three thousand baths.
14-29:22 So they killed the bullocks, and the
priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had
killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the
lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.
14-30:16 And they stood in their place after
their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests
sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.
17-4:4 So Esther’s maids and her
chamberlains came and told it her.
Then was the queen exceedingly grieved; and she sent raiment to clothe
Mordecai, and to take away his sackcloth from him: but he received it not.
18-4:12 Now a thing was secretly brought to
me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
19-68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast
led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts
for men; yea, for the rebellious
also, that the LORD God might dwell among
them.
20-24:32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I
looked upon it, and received instruction.
23-37:14 And Hezekiah received
the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up
unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
23-40:2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem,
and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is
pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s
hand double for all her sins.
24-2:30 In vain have I smitten your
children; they received no correction: your own
sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.
26-18:17 That
hath taken off his hand from the poor, that
hath not received usury nor increase, hath
executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the
iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
36-3:2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD;
she drew not near to her God.
40-10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,
raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received,
freely give.
40-13:19 When any one heareth the word of the
kingdom, and understandeth it not,
then cometh the wicked one, and
catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
40-13:20 But he that received
the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with
joy receiveth it;
40-13:22 He also that received
seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world,
and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
40-13:23 But he that received
seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and
bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
40-17:24 And when they were come to Capernaum,
they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
40-20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they
received every man a penny.
40-20:10 But when the first came, they
supposed that they should have received more;
and they likewise received every man a penny.
40-20:11 And when they had received it, they
murmured against the goodman of the house,
40-20:34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and
immediately their eyes received sight, and they
followed him.
40-25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the
same, and made them other five
talents.
40-25:17 And likewise he that had received two,
he also gained other two.
40-25:18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his
lord’s money.
40-25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five
talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have
gained beside them five talents more.
40-25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou
deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside
them.
40-25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew
thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering
where thou hast not strawed:
40-25:27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put
my money to the exchangers, and then at
my coming I should have received mine own with
usury.
41-7:4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And
many other things there be, which they have received
to hold, as the washing of cups, and
pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.
41-10:52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way;
thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received
his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
41-15:23 And they gave him to drink wine
mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
41-16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken
unto them, he was received up into heaven, and
sat on the right hand of God.
42-6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for
ye have received your consolation.
42-8:40 And it came to pass, that, when
Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
42-9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of
God, and healed them that had need of healing.
42-9:51 And it came to pass, when the time
was come that he should be received up, he
stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
42-10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went,
that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
42-15:27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is
come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
42-18:43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God:
and all the people, when they saw it, gave
praise unto God.
42-19:6 And he made haste, and came down,
and received him joyfully.
42-19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was
returned, having received the kingdom, then he
commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money,
that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
43-1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
43-1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons
of God, even to them that believe on
his name:
43-1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
43-3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
43-4:45 Then when he was come into Galilee,
the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the
things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the
feast.
43-6:21 Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship
was at the land whither they went.
43-9:11 He answered and said, A man that is
called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the
pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received
sight.
43-9:15 Then again the Pharisees also asked
him how he had received his sight. He said unto
them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
43-9:18 But the Jews did not believe
concerning him, that he had been blind, and received
his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
43-10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it
down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father.
43-13:30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was
night.
43-17:8 For I have given unto them the words
which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came
out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
43-18:3 Judas then, having received a band of
men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with
lanterns and torches and weapons.
43-19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he
bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
44-1:9 And when he had spoken these things,
while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received
him out of their sight.
44-2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of
God exalted, and having received of the Father
the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and
hear.
44-2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day
there were added unto them about
three thousand souls.
44-3:7 And he took him by the right hand,
and lifted him up: and immediately
his feet and ancle bones received strength.
44-7:38 This is he, that was in the church
in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
44-7:53 Who have received
the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
44-8:14 Now when the apostles which were at
Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the
word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
44-8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received
the Holy Ghost.
44-9:18 And immediately there fell from his
eyes as it had been scales: and he received
sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
44-9:19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul
certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
44-10:16 This was done thrice: and the vessel
was received up again into heaven.
44-10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these
should not be baptized, which have received the
Holy Ghost as well as we?
44-11:1 And the apostles and brethren that
were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received
the word of God.
44-15:4 And when they were come to
Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and
of the apostles and elders, and they
declared all things that God had done with them.
44-16:24 Who, having received
such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in
the stocks.
44-17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar,
saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
44-17:11 These were more noble than those in
Thessalonica, in that they received the word
with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those
things were so.
44-19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they
said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
44-20:24 But none of these things move me,
neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with
joy, and the ministry, which I have received of
the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
44-21:17 And when we were come to Jerusalem,
the brethren received us gladly.
44-22:5 As also the high priest doth bear me
witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to
Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be
punished.
44-26:10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem:
and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received
authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my
voice against them.
44-28:2 And the barbarous people shewed us
no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received
us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
44-28:7 In the same quarters were
possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
44-28:21 And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee,
neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.
44-28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his
own hired house, and received all that came in
unto him,
45-1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the
faith among all nations, for his name:
45-4:11 And he received
the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he
might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised;
that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
45-5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom
we have now received the atonement.
45-8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye
have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we
cry, Abba, Father.
45-14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him
that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for
God hath received him.
45-15:7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as
Christ also received us to the glory of God.
46-2:12 Now we have received,
not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know
the things that are freely given to us of God.
46-4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou
didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
46-11:23 For I have received
of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took
bread:
46-15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto
you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
46-15:3 For I delivered unto you first of
all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures;
47-4:1 Therefore seeing we have this
ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint
not;
47-7:15 And his inward affection is more abundant
toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and
trembling ye received him.
47-11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth
another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not
accepted, ye might well bear with him.
47-11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes
save one.
48-1:9 As we said before, so say I now
again, If any man preach any other
gospel unto you than that ye have received, let
him be accursed.
48-1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus
Christ.
48-3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by
the hearing of faith?
48-4:14 And my temptation which was in my
flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received
me as an angel of God, even as Christ
Jesus.
50-4:9 Those things, which ye have both
learned, and received, and heard, and seen in
me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
50-4:18 But I have all, and abound: I am
full, having received of Epaphroditus the things
which were sent from you, an odour of
a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
51-2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
51-4:10 Aristarchus my fellowprisoner
saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive
him;)
51-4:17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to
the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord,
that thou fulfil it.
52-1:6 And ye became followers of us, and
of the Lord, having received the word in much
affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:
52-2:13 For this cause also thank we God
without ceasing, because, when ye received the
word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which
effectually worketh also in you that believe.
52-4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you,
brethren, and exhort you by the Lord
Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye
ought to walk and to please God, so ye
would abound more and more.
53-2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness
in them that perish; because they received not
the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
53-3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every
brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
54-3:16 And without controversy great is the
mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
54-4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats,
which God hath created to be received with
thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
54-4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if
it be received with thanksgiving:
58-2:2 For if the word spoken by angels
was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received
a just recompence of reward;
58-7:6 But he whose descent is not counted
from them received tithes of Abraham, and
blessed him that had the promises.
58-7:11 If therefore perfection were by the
Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received
the law,) what further need was there that
another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called
after the order of Aaron?
58-10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we
have received the knowledge of the truth, there
remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
58-11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered
of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had
promised.
58-11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off,
and were persuaded of them, and
embraced them, and confessed that
they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
58-11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried,
offered up Isaac: and he that had received the
promises offered up his only begotten son.
58-11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
58-11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished
not with them that believed not, when she had received
the spies with peace.
58-11:35 Women received
their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting
deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
58-11:39 And these all, having obtained a good
report through faith, received not the promise:
59-2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the
harlot justified by works, when she had received
the messengers, and had sent them out
another way?
60-1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were
not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver
and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
60-4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even
so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace
of God.
61-1:17 For he received
from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from
the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
62-2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that
any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is
truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
63-1:4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of
thy children walking in truth, as we have received
a commandment from the Father.
66-2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of
iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
66-3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If
therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt
not know what hour I will come upon thee.
66-17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest
are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as
yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
66-19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him
the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them
that had received the mark of the beast, and
them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire
burning with brimstone.
66-20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon
them, and judgment was given unto them: and I
saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for
the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image,
neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived
and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

42-16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that
thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things,
and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art
tormented.

23-33:18 Thine heart shall meditate terror.
Where is the scribe? where is the receiver?
where is he that counted the towers?

07-19:18 And he said unto him, We are passing from Bethlehemjudah toward
the side of mount Ephraim; from thence am
I: and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I am
now going to the house of the LORD; and there is no man that receiveth me to
house.

thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?

simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
20-29:4 The king by judgment establisheth
the land: but he that receiveth gifts
overthroweth it.
24-7:28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice
of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction:
truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
39-2:13 And this have ye done again,
covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out,
insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with
good will at your hand.
40-7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him
that knocketh it shall be opened.
40-10:40 He that receiveth
you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth
him that sent me.
40-10:41 He that receiveth
a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he
that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a
righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
40-13:20 But he that received the seed into stony
places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
40-18:5 And whoso shall receive one such
little child in my name receiveth me.
41-9:37 Whosoever shall receive one of such
children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever
shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that
sent me.
42-9:48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall
receive this child in my name receiveth me: and
whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that
sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
42-11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him
that knocketh it shall be opened.
42-15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes
murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and
eateth with them.
43-3:32 And what he hath seen and heard,
that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his
testimony.
43-4:36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life
eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
43-12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the
word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
43-13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He
that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth
me receiveth him that sent me.
46-2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for
they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
46-9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a
race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So
run, that ye may obtain.
58-6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the
rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it
is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
58-7:8 And here men that die receive
tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he
liveth.
58-7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who
receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
58-12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he
chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
64-1:9 I wrote unto the church: but
Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
66-2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to
eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a
new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth
it.
66-14:11 And the smoke of their torment
ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who
worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth
the mark of his name.

12-5:20 But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the
man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after
him, and take somewhat of him.
44-17:15 And they that conducted Paul brought
him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment
unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.
45-1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving
the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with
men working that which is unseemly, and receiving
in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
45-11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving
of them be, but life from the dead?
50-4:15 Now ye Philippians know also, that
in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church
communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving,
but ye only.
58-12:28 Wherefore we receiving
a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God
acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
60-1:9 Receiving
the end of your faith, even the
salvation of your souls.

10-4:2 And
Saul’s son had two men that were captains
of bands: the name of the one was Baanah,
and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite,
of the children of Benjamin: (for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin.
10-4:5 And
the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about
the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth, who lay on a bed at noon.
10-4:6 And
they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under
the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.
10-4:9 And
David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the
Beerothite, and said unto them, As the
LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,
12-10:15 And
when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to
meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my
heart is with thy heart? And
Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me
thine hand. And he gave him his
hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
12-10:23 And
Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said
unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none
of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.
13-2:55 And
the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the

the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler
of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks
thereof, and the bars thereof.
24-35:6 But
they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink
no wine, neither ye, nor your sons
for ever:
24-35:8 Thus
have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our
father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our
wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
24-35:14 The
words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not
to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their
father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and
speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
24-35:16 Because
the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of
their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto
me:
24-35:19 Therefore
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for
ever.

wine to drink.

I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren,
and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;
24-35:5 And
I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites
pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.
24-35:18 And
Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab
your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he
hath commanded you:

03-27:18 But if he sanctify his field after
the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto
him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the
jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

Christ our Lord.

that the sufferings of this present time are
not worthy to be compared with
the glory which shall be revealed in us.
