15-9:8 And
now for a little space grace hath been shewed
from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a
nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little
reviving in our bondage.
15-9:9 For
we were bondmen; yet our God hath not
forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the
kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set
up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us
a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.

these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear
not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
04-NUMBERS
04-18:31 And
ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward
for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-10:17 For
the LORD your God is God of gods, and
Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not
persons, nor taketh reward:
05-27:25 Cursed
be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people
shall say, Amen.
05-32:41 If
I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render
vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them
that hate me.
08-2:12 The
LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be
given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
09-24:19 For
if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me this
day.
10-3:39 And
I am this day weak, though anointed
king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be
too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the
doer of evil according to his wickedness.
10-4:10 When
one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings,
I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward
for his tidings:
10-19:36 Thy
servant will go a little way over Jordan with the king: and why should the king
recompense it me with such a reward?
11-13:7 And
the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and
I will give thee a reward.
14-20:11 Behold,
I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession,
which thou hast given us to inherit.
18-6:22 Did
I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me
of your substance?
18-7:2 As
a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of
his work:
19-15:5 He that putteth not out his money to
usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent.
He that doeth these things shall
never be moved.
19-19:11 Moreover
by them is thy servant warned: and in
keeping of them there is great reward.
19-40:15 Let
them be desolate for a reward of their shame that
say unto me, Aha, aha.
19-54:5 He
shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them
off in thy truth.
19-58:11 So
that a man shall say, Verily there is a
reward for the righteous: verily he is a God
that judgeth in the earth.
19-70:3 Let
them be turned back for a reward of their shame
that say, Aha, aha.

with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward
of the wicked.
19-94:2 Lift
up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward
to the proud.

from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

children are an heritage of the LORD:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
20-11:18 The
wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.
20-21:14 A
gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in
the bosom strong wrath.
20-24:14 So
shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
20-24:20 For
there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be
put out.
20-25:22 For
thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
21-4:9 Two
are better than one; because they
have a good reward for their labour.
21-9:5 For
the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither
have they any more a reward; for the memory of them
is forgotten.
23-3:11 Woe
unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
23-5:23 Which
justify the wicked for reward, and take away the
righteousness of the righteous from him!
23-40:10 Behold,
the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and
his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
23-45:13 I
have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall
build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
23-62:11 Behold,
the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of
Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward
is with him, and his work before him.
24-40:5 Now
while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go
back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of
Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among
the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the
captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward,
and let him go.
26-16:34 And
the contrary is in thee from other women
in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that
thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art
contrary.
28-4:9 And
there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their
ways, and reward them their doings.
28-9:1 Rejoice
not, O Israel, for joy, as other people:
for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
31-1:15 For
the day of the LORD is near upon all
the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.
33-3:11 The
heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests
thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will
they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not
the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
33-7:3 That
they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward;
and the great man, he uttereth his
mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
40-5:12 Rejoice,
and be exceeding glad: for great is your
reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the
prophets which were before you.
40-5:46 For
if ye love them which love you, what reward have
ye? do not even the publicans the same?
40-6:1 Take
heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have
no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
40-6:2 Therefore
when thou doest thine alms, do not
sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the
streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have
their reward.
40-6:4 That
thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall
reward thee openly.
40-6:5 And
when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the
corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you,
They have their reward.
40-6:6 But
thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door,
pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret
shall reward thee openly.
40-6:16 Moreover
when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they
disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto
you, They have their reward.
40-6:18 That
thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and
thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward
thee openly.
40-10:41 He
that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the
name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
40-10:42 And
whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple,
verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
40-16:27 For
the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then
he shall reward every man according to his
works.
41-9:41 For
whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong
to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.
42-6:23 Rejoice
ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward
is great in heaven: for in the like
manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
42-6:35 But
love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your
reward shall be great, and ye shall be the
children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
42-23:41 And
we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward
of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
44-1:18 Now this
man purchased a field with the reward of
iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his
bowels gushed out.
45-4:4 Now
to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned
of grace, but of debt.
46-3:8 Now
he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his
own reward according to his own labour.
46-3:14 If
any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
46-9:17 For
if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward:
but if against my will, a dispensation of
the gospel is committed unto me.
46-9:18 What
is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of
Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
51-2:18 Let
no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary
humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath
not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
51-3:24 Knowing
that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of
the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
54-5:18 For
the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn.
And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
55-4:14 Alexander
the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward
him according to his works:
58-2:2 For
if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and
disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
58-10:35 Cast
not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
58-11:26 Esteeming
the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had
respect unto the recompence of the reward.
61-2:13 And
shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot
in the day time. Spots they are and
blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with
you;
63-1:8 Look
to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we
receive a full reward.
65-1:11 Woe
unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the
error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the
gainsaying of Core.
66-11:18 And the nations
were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should
be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward
unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name,
small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
66-18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto
her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her
double.
66-22:12 And,
behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according
as his work shall be.

he said to David, Thou art more
righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me

ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.
19-7:4 If
I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace
with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
19-18:20 The
LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness;
according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.

23-3:9 The
shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin
as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto
their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto
themselves.
24-31:16 Thus
saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for
thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and
they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
