02-EXODUS
02-24:5 And
he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and
sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the
LORD.
02-32:8 They
have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made
them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed
thereunto, and said, These be thy
gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
05-DEUTERONOMY
05-32:17 They
sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom
they knew not, to new gods that came
newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
06-8:31 As
Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the children of Israel, as it is
written in the book of the law of Moses, an altar of whole stones, over which
no man hath lift up any iron: and
they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.
07-2:5 And
they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed
there unto the LORD.
09-2:15 Also
before they burnt the fat, the priest’s servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he
will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw.
09-6:15 And
the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Bethshemesh offered burnt
offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day
unto the LORD.
09-11:15 And
all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in
Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of
peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel
rejoiced greatly.
10-6:13 And
it was so, that when they that bare
the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed
oxen and fatlings.
11-3:2 Only
the people sacrificed in high places, because
there was no house built unto the name of the LORD, until those days.
11-3:3 And
Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.
11-11:8 And
likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
12-12:3 But
the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed
and burnt incense in the high places.
12-15:4 Save
that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed
and burnt incense still on the high places.
12-15:35 Howbeit
the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed
and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the
house of the LORD.
12-16:4 And
he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high
places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
12-17:32 So
they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of
the high places, which sacrificed for them in
the houses of the high places.
13-21:28 At
that time when David saw that the LORD had answered him in the threshingfloor
of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.
13-29:21 And
they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and
offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand
rams, and a thousand lambs, with
their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
14-5:6 Also
king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him
before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which
could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
14-28:4 He
sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high
places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
14-28:23 For
he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which
smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that
they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.
14-33:16 And
he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed
thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the
LORD God of Israel.
14-33:22 But
he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had
made, and served them;
14-34:4 And
they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down;
and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in
pieces, and made dust of them, and
strowed it upon the graves of them
that had sacrificed unto them.
19-106:37 Yea,
they sacrificed their sons and their daughters
unto devils,
19-106:38 And
shed innocent blood, even the blood
of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed
unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
26-16:20 Moreover
thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and
these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be
devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a
small matter,
26-39:19 And
ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my
sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.
28-11:2 As they called them, so they went from
them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned
incense to graven images.
46-5:7 Purge
out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For
even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
66-2:14 But I
have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the
doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the
children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed
unto idols, and to commit fornication.
66-2:20 Notwithstanding
I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to
commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed
unto idols.

05-DEUTERONOMY
05-16:4 And
there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days;
neither shall there any thing of the
flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even,
remain all night until the morning.

01-GENESIS
01-46:1 And
Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and
offered sacrifices unto the God of his father
Isaac.
02-EXODUS
02-10:25 And
Moses said, Thou must give us also sacrifices
and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.
02-18:12 And
Jethro, Moses’ father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel,
to eat bread with Moses’ father in law before God.
03-LEVITICUS
03-7:32 And
the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices
of your peace offerings.
03-7:34 For
the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel
from off the sacrifices of their peace
offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a
statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
03-10:13 And
ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons’ due, of the sacrifices
of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.
03-10:14 And
the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy
sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they
be thy due, and thy sons’ due, which are
given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings
of the children of Israel.
03-17:5 To
the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices,
which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the
LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and
offer them for peace offerings unto
the LORD.
03-17:7 And
they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto
devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever
unto them throughout their generations.
04-10:10 Also
in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of
your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and
over the sacrifices of your peace offerings;
that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
04-25:2 And
they called the people unto the sacrifices of their
gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
04-28:2 Command
the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made
by fire, for a sweet savour unto me,
shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.
05-12:6 And
thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices,
and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your
freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
05-12:11 Then
there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name
to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt
offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and
the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the
LORD:
05-12:27 And
thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar
of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices
shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the
flesh.
05-32:38 Which
did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink
offerings? let them rise up and help you, and
be your protection.
05-33:19 They
shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
06-13:14 Only
unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices
of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are
their inheritance, as he said unto them.
06-22:27 But
that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings,
and with our sacrifices, and with our peace
offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye
have no part in the LORD.
06-22:28 Therefore
said we, that it shall be, when they should so
say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar
of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is
a witness between us and you.
06-22:29 God
forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following
the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of the LORD our God that is before his tabernacle.
09-6:15 And
the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone: and the men of Bethshemesh offered burnt
offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day
unto the LORD.
09-10:8 And
thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto
thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to
sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven
days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
09-11:15 And
all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in
Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of
peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel
rejoiced greatly.
09-15:22 And
Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight
in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying
the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is
better than sacrifice, and to
hearken than the fat of rams.
10-15:12 And
Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the
people increased continually with Absalom.
12-10:24 And
when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt
offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.
13-16:1 So
they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had
pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices
and peace offerings before God.
13-23:31 And
to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in
the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to
the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:
13-29:21 And
they sacrificed sacrifices unto the LORD, and
offered burnt offerings unto the LORD, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand
rams, and a thousand lambs, with
their drink offerings, and sacrifices in
abundance for all Israel:
14-7:1 Now
when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and
consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices;
and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
14-7:4 Then
the king and all the people offered sacrifices
before the LORD.
14-13:11 And
they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table;
and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for
we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.
14-29:31 Then
Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD,
come near and bring sacrifices and thank
offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of
a free heart burnt offerings.
15-6:3 In
the first year of Cyrus the king the same
Cyrus the king made a decree concerning
the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where
they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations
thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore
cubits;
15-6:10 That
they may offer sacrifices of sweet savours unto
the God of heaven, and pray for the life of the king, and of his sons.
16-12:43 Also
that day they offered great sacrifices, and
rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the
children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
19-4:5 Offer
the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your
trust in the LORD.
19-27:6 And
now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore
will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of
joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
19-50:8 I
will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy
burnt offerings, to have been continually
before me.
19-51:17 The
sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou
wilt not despise.
19-51:19 Then
shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of
righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they
offer bullocks upon thine altar.
19-66:15 I
will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of
fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
19-106:28 They
joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices
of the dead.
19-107:22 And
let them sacrifice the sacrifices of
thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
20-17:1 Better
is a dry morsel, and quietness
therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
23-1:11 To
what purpose is the multitude of your
sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of
the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in
the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
23-29:1 Woe
to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David
dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.
23-43:23 Thou
hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou
honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not
caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
23-43:24 Thou
hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the
fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to
serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
23-56:7 Even
them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of
prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
shall be accepted upon mine altar;
for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
24-6:20 To
what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a
far country? your burnt offerings are not
acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.
24-7:21 Thus
saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
24-7:22 For
I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought
them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:
24-17:26 And
they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem,
and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and
from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices,
and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices
of praise, unto the house of the LORD.
26-20:28 For when I had brought them into the
land, for the which I lifted up mine
hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick
trees, and they offered there their sacrifices,
and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made
their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
26-40:41 Four
tables were on this side, and four
tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew
their sacrifices.
28-4:19 The
wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their
sacrifices.
28-8:13 They
sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now
will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to
Egypt.
28-9:4 They
shall not offer wine offerings to the
LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices
shall be unto them as the bread of
mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their
soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
30-4:4 Come
to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
30-5:25 Have
ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in
the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
41-12:33 And to
love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the
soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings
and sacrifices.
42-13:1 There
were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood
Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
44-7:42 Then God turned,
and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of
the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by
the space of forty years in the wilderness?
46-10:18 Behold
Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices
partakers of the altar?
58-5:1 For
every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer
both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
58-8:3 For
every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices:
wherefore it is of necessity that
this man have somewhat also to offer.
58-9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in
which were offered both gifts and sacrifices,
that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the
conscience;
58-9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns
of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things
themselves with better sacrifices than these.
58-10:1 For the
law having a shadow of good things to come, and
not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually
make the comers thereunto perfect.
58-10:3 But in
those sacrifices
there is a remembrance again made of
sins every year.
58-10:6 In burnt
offerings and sacrifices
for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
58-10:11 And every
priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
58-13:16 But to do
good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices
God is well pleased.
60-2:5 Ye also,
as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer
up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by
Jesus Christ.

02-EXODUS
02-22:20 He
that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
21-ECCLESIASTES
21-9:2 All
things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and
to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he
that sweareth, as he that feareth an
oath.
23-ISAIAH
23-65:3 A
people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon
altars of brick;
23-66:3 He
that killeth an ox is as if he slew a
man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that
offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s
blood; he that burneth incense, as if he
blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul
delighteth in their abominations.
39-1:14 But
cursed be the deceiver, which hath in
his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto
the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a
great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

11-1 KINGS
11-8:5 And
king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him,
were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor
numbered for multitude.
11-12:32 And
Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the
month, like unto the feast that is in
Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he
placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

01-GENESIS
01-40:6 And
Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold,
they were sad.
09-1 SAMUEL
09-1:18 And
she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her
way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
11-1 KINGS
11-21:5 But
Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?
16-NEHEMIAH
16-2:1 And
it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the
king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad
in his presence.
16-2:2 Wherefore
the king said unto me, Why is thy
countenance sad, seeing thou art not sick? this is nothing else but
sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore afraid,
16-2:3 And
said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance
be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’
sepulchres, lieth waste, and the
gates thereof are consumed with fire?
26-13:22 Because
with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad,
whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the
hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by
promising him life:
40-6:16 Moreover
when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad
countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to
fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
41-10:22 And he was
sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for
he had great possessions.
42-24:17 And he
said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

10-2 SAMUEL
10-19:26 And
he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I
