11-13:32 For
the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel,
and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.
11-16:24 And
he bought the hill Samaria of
Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of
the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.
11-16:28 So
Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.

11-20:1 And
Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with
him, and horses, and chariots: and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.
11-20:10 And
Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the
dust of Samaria
shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
11-20:17 And
the young men of the princes of the provinces went out first; and Benhadad sent
out, and they told him, saying, There are men come out of Samaria.
11-20:34 And
Benhadad said unto him, The cities,

streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said

him, and sent him away.

the king of Israel went to his house heavy and displeased, and came to Samaria.
11-21:1 And
it came to pass after these things, that Naboth

Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.
11-21:18 Arise,
go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is
in Samaria:
behold, he is in the vineyard of
Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.
11-22:10 And
the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne,

the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of
this disease.
12-1:3 But
the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the
messengers of the king of Samaria, and
say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the
god of Ekron?
12-2:25 And
he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.
12-3:1 Now

the way, neither is this the city:

12-6:20 And
it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, LORD, open the eyes of these
men, that they may see. And the LORD
opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.
12-6:24 And
it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host,
and went up, and besieged Samaria.
12-6:25 And
there was a great famine in Samaria:
and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass’s head was sold for fourscore pieces of
silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove’s dung for five pieces of silver.
12-7:1 Then
Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about
this time shall a measure of fine
flour be sold for a shekel, and two
measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
12-7:18 And
it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures
of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to
morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:
12-10:1 And
Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And
Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and
to them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
12-10:12 And
he arose and departed, and came to Samaria. And as
he was at the shearing house in the
way,
12-10:17 And
when he came to Samaria, he
slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the
saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
12-10:35 And
Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.
12-10:36 And
the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty
and eight years.
12-13:1 In
the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz
the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and
reigned seventeen years.
12-13:6 Nevertheless
they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained
the grove also in Samaria.)
12-13:9 And
Jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Samaria: and Joash his son reigned in his stead.
12-13:10 In
the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of
Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, and
reigned sixteen years.
12-13:13 And
Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat upon his throne: and Joash was
buried in Samaria with
the kings of Israel.
12-14:14 And
he took all the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house
of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and hostages, and
returned to Samaria.
12-14:16 And
Jehoash slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel; and Jeroboam his son
reigned in his stead.

of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and
reigned forty and one years.

Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.
12-15:13 Shallum
the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of
Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.
12-15:14 For
Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son
of Jabesh in Samaria, and
slew him, and reigned in his stead.
12-15:17 In
the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi
to reign over Israel, and reigned ten
years in Samaria.
12-15:23 In
the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to
reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.
12-15:25 But
Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote
him in Samaria, in
the palace of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of
the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.
12-15:27 In
the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah
began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and
reigned twenty years.
12-17:1 In
the twelfth year of Ahaz king of Judah began Hoshea the son of Elah to reign in
Samaria over Israel nine years.
12-17:5 Then
the king of Assyria came up throughout all the land, and went up to Samaria, and besieged it three
years.
12-17:6 In
the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and
placed them in Halah and in Habor by the
river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
12-17:24 And
the king of Assyria brought men from
Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim,
and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of
Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and
dwelt in the cities thereof.
12-17:26 Wherefore
they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed,
and placed in the cities of Samaria,
know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among
them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God
of the land.
12-17:28 Then
one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how
they should fear the LORD.
12-18:9 And
it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up
against Samaria, and
besieged it.
12-18:10 And
at the end of three years they took it: even
in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is
the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.
12-18:34 Where
are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad?
where are the gods of Sepharvaim,
Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?
12-21:13 And
I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will
wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a
dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.
12-23:18 And
he said, Let him alone; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone,
with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
12-23:19 And
all the houses also of the high places that were
in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of
Israel had made to provoke the LORD to
anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had
done in Bethel.
14-18:2 And
after certain years he went down to
Ahab to Samaria. And
Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that he had with him, and persuaded him to go
up with him to Ramothgilead.
14-18:9 And
the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah sat either of them on his
throne, clothed in their robes, and
they sat in a void place at the entering in of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets
prophesied before them.
14-22:9 And
he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and
when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought
the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still
the kingdom.
14-25:13 But
the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with
him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand
of them, and took much spoil.
14-25:24 And
he took all the gold and the silver,
and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the
treasures of the king’s house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.
14-28:8 And
the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred
thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them,
and brought the spoil to Samaria.
14-28:9 But
a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was
Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD
God of your fathers was wroth with Judah, he hath delivered them into your
hand, and ye have slain them in a rage that
reacheth up unto heaven.
14-28:15 And
the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives, and with
the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod
them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the
feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees,
to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.
15-4:10 And
the rest of the nations whom the great and noble Asnapper brought over, and set
in the cities of Samaria, and
the rest that are on this side the
river, and at such a time.
15-4:17 Then sent the king an answer unto Rehum
the chancellor, and to Shimshai the
scribe, and to the rest of their
companions that dwell in Samaria, and
unto the rest beyond the river, Peace,
and at such a time.
16-4:2 And
he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they
fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will
they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
23-7:9 And
the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be
established.
23-8:4 For
before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the
riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
23-9:9 And
all the people shall know, even Ephraim
and the inhabitant of Samaria,
that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
23-10:9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
23-10:10 As
my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel
them of Jerusalem and of Samaria:
23-10:11 Shall
I not, as I have done unto Samaria and
her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
23-36:19 Where
are the gods of Hamath and Arphad?
where are the gods of Sepharvaim? and
have they delivered Samaria out
of my hand?
24-23:13 And
I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people
Israel to err.
24-31:5 Thou
shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
24-41:5 That
there came certain from Shechem, from Shiloh, and from Samaria, even fourscore
men, having their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut
themselves, with offerings and incense in their hand, to bring them to the house of the LORD.
26-16:46 And
thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that
dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right
hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
26-16:51 Neither
hath Samaria
committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more
than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou
hast done.
26-16:53 When
I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters,
and the captivity of Samaria and
her daughters, then will I bring again the
captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:
26-16:55 When
thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall
return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your
former estate.
26-23:4 And
the names of them were Aholah the
elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and
daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.
26-23:33 Thou
shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and
desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.
28-7:1 When
I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and
the wickedness of Samaria: for
they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.
28-8:5 Thy
calf, O Samaria,
hath cast thee off; mine anger is
kindled against them: how long will it be
ere they attain to innocency?
28-8:6 For
from Israel was it also: the workman
made it; therefore it is not God: but
the calf of Samaria
shall be broken in pieces.
28-10:5 The
inhabitants of Samaria
shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall
mourn over it, and the priests thereof that
rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
28-10:7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
28-13:16 Samaria shall become desolate; for
she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants
shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
30-3:9 Publish
in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say,
Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst
thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof.
30-3:12 Thus
saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs,
or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell
in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and
in Damascus in a couch.
30-4:1 Hear
this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in
the mountain of Samaria,
which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters,
Bring, and let us drink.
30-6:1 Woe
to them that are at ease in Zion, and
trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to
whom the house of Israel came!
30-8:14 They
that swear by the sin of Samaria, and
say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they
shall fall, and never rise up again.
31-1:19 And
they of the south shall possess the
mount of Esau; and they of the plain
the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields
of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.
33-1:1 The
word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz,
and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which
he saw concerning Samaria and
Jerusalem.
33-1:5 For
the transgression of Jacob is all
this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is
it not Samaria? and
what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
33-1:6 Therefore
I will make Samaria as
an heap of the field, and as plantings
of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I
will discover the foundations thereof.
42-17:11 And it
came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
43-4:4 And he
must needs go through Samaria.
43-4:5 Then
cometh he to a city of Samaria,
which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son
Joseph.
43-4:7 There
cometh a woman of Samaria to
draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
43-4:9 Then
saith the woman of Samaria unto
him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no
dealings with the Samaritans.
44-1:8 But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall
be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost
part of the earth.
44-8:1 And Saul
was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution
against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad
throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.
44-8:5 Then
Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
44-8:9 But
there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used
sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
44-8:14 Now when the
