01-1:26 And God said,
Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
01-1:28 And God
blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish
the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every
living thing that moveth upon the earth.
01-9:2 And the
fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and
upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
01-14:3 All these
were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
01-22:17 That in
blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the
stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is
upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall
possess the gate of his enemies;
01-32:12 And thou
saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
01-41:49 And Joseph
gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much,
until he left numbering; for it was without
number.
01-49:13 Zebulun
shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his
border shall be unto Zidon.
02-10:19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong
west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained
not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.
02-13:18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the
Red sea: and
the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.
02-14:2 Speak unto the children of Israel,
that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye
encamp by the sea.
02-14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after
them, all the horses and chariots of
Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
02-14:16 But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch
out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and
the children of Israel shall go on dry ground
through the midst of the sea.
02-14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over
the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by
a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea
dry land, and the waters were
divided.
02-14:22 And the children of Israel went into
the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right
hand, and on their left.
02-14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went
in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots,
and his horsemen.
02-14:26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch
out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may
come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
02-14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand
over the sea, and the sea
returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled
against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
02-14:28 And the waters returned, and covered
the chariots, and the horsemen, and all
the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after
them; there remained not so much as one of them.
02-14:29 But the children of Israel walked
upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
02-14:30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out
of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
02-15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of
Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD,
for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into
the sea.
02-15:4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath
he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also
are drowned in the Red sea.
02-15:8 And with the blast of thy nostrils
the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the
heart of the sea.
02-15:10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty
waters.
02-15:19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with
his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea,
and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea
upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.
02-15:21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to
the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he
thrown into the sea.
02-15:22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they
went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the
wilderness, and found no water.
02-20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the
sabbath day, and hallowed it.
02-23:31 And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto
the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert
unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand;
and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
04-11:22 Shall the
flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish
of the sea be gathered together for them, to
suffice them?
04-11:31 And there
went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them
fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a
day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two
cubits high upon the face of the
earth.
04-13:29 The
Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites,
and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
04-14:25 (Now the
Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) To morrow turn you, and get
you into the wilderness by the way of the Red
sea.
04-21:4 And they
journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red
sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul
of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
04-21:14 Wherefore
it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the
brooks of Arnon,
04-33:8 And they
departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’ journey
in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
04-33:10 And they
removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.
04-33:11 And they
removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
04-34:3 Then your
south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom,
and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:
04-34:5 And the
border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings
out of it shall be at the sea.
04-34:6 And as for the western border, ye shall even
have the great sea for a border: this shall be
your west border.
04-34:7 And this
shall be your north border: from the great sea
ye shall point out for you mount Hor:
04-34:11 And the
coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the
border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:
04-34:12 And the
border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof
round about.
05-1:1 These be the words which Moses spake unto all
Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and
Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
05-1:7 Turn
you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain,
in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto
Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
05-1:40 But as for you, turn you, and take your
journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red
sea.
05-2:1 Then we
turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the
LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
05-3:17 The plain
also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from
Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea,
under Ashdothpisgah eastward.
05-4:49 And all
the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even unto the sea
of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.
05-11:4 And what
he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he
made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto
this day;
05-11:24 Every
place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness
and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
05-30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it,
and do it?
05-34:2 And all
Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah,
unto the utmost sea,
06-1:4 From the
wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all
the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea
toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
06-2:10 For we
have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red
sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what
ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly
destroyed.
06-3:16 That the
waters which came down from above stood and
rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even
the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.
06-4:23 For the
LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were
passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red
sea, which he dried up from before us, until we
were gone over:
06-5:1 And it
came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the
Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of
Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that
their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the
children of Israel.
06-9:1 And it
came to pass, when all the kings which were
on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the
coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon,
the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the
Jebusite, heard thereof;
06-11:4 And they
went out, they and all their hosts with them, much people, even as the sand
that is upon the sea shore in multitude, with horses and chariots very
many.
06-12:3 And from
the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east,
and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea
on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:
06-13:27 And in the
valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the
kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the
edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side
Jordan eastward.
06-15:2 And their
south border was from the shore of the salt sea,
from the bay that looketh southward:
06-15:4 From thence it passed toward Azmon, and
went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
06-15:5 And the
east border was the salt sea, even unto
the end of Jordan. And their border
in the north quarter was from the bay
of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
06-15:11 And the
border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to
Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the
goings out of the border were at the sea.
06-15:12 And the
west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof.
This is the coast of the children
of Judah round about according to their families.
06-15:46 From Ekron
even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
06-15:47 Ashdod
with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the
river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the
border thereof:
06-16:3 And goeth
down westward to the coast of Japhleti, unto the coast of Bethhoron the nether,
and to Gezer: and the goings out thereof are at the sea.
06-16:6 And the
border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on
the north side; and the border went about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and
passed by it on the east to Janohah;
06-16:8 The
border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out
thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the
children of Ephraim by their families.
06-17:9 And the
coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of
Ephraim are among the cities of
Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on
the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea:
06-17:10 Southward it was Ephraim’s, and northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on
the north, and in Issachar on the east.
06-18:14 And the
border was drawn thence, and
compassed the corner of the sea southward, from
the hill that lieth before Bethhoron
southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, a city of the children
of Judah: this was the west quarter.
06-18:19 And the
border passed along to the side of Bethhoglah northward: and the outgoings of
the border were at the north bay of the salt sea
at the south end of Jordan: this was the
south coast.
06-19:11 And their
border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and
reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;
06-19:29 And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to
the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof
are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
06-23:4 Behold, I
have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance
for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even
unto the great sea westward.
06-24:6 And I brought
your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea;
and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto
the Red sea.
06-24:7 And when
they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and
brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and
your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a
long season.
07-5:17 Gilead
abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.
07-7:12 And
the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in
the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
07-11:16 But
when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness unto the Red sea, and came
to Kadesh;
09-13:5 And
the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty
thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea
shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from
Bethaven.
10-17:11 Therefore
I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to
Beersheba, as the sand that is by the
sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in
thine own person.
10-22:16 And
the channels of the sea appeared, the
foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the
blast of the breath of his nostrils.
11-4:20 Judah
and Israel were many, as the sand
which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making
merry.
11-4:29 And
God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of
heart, even as the sand that is on
the sea shore.
11-5:9 My
servants shall bring them down from
Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint
me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my
desire, in giving food for my household.
11-7:23 And
he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one
brim to the other: it was round all
about, and his height was five
cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
11-7:24 And
under the brim of it round about there
were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
11-7:25 It
stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking
toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward
the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
11-7:39 And
he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of
the house: and he set the sea on the right side
of the house eastward over against the south.
11-7:44 And
one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
11-9:26 And
king Solomon made a navy of ships in Eziongeber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red
sea, in the land of Edom.
11-9:27 And
Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.
11-10:22 For
the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the
navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold,
and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
11-18:43 And
said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea.
And he went up, and looked, and said, There
is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.
11-18:44 And
it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a
little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.
And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy
chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
12-14:25 He
restored the coast of Israel from the entering of Hamath unto the sea of the plain, according to the word of the LORD
God of Israel, which he spake by the hand of his servant Jonah, the son of
Amittai, the prophet, which was of
Gathhepher.
12-16:17 And
king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off
them; and took down the sea from off the brasen
oxen that were under it, and put it
upon a pavement of stones.
12-25:13 And
the pillars of brass that were in the
house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea
that was in the house of the LORD,
did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.
12-25:16 The
two pillars, one sea, and the bases which
Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was
without weight.
13-16:32 Let
the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the
fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
13-18:8 Likewise
from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much
brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea,
and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
14-2:16 And
we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring
it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou
shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.
14-4:2 Also
he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to
brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of
thirty cubits did compass it round about.
14-4:3 And
under it was the similitude of oxen,
which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.
14-4:4 It
stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking
toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward
the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
14-4:6 He
made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to
wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in
them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
14-4:10 And
he set the sea on the right side of the east
end, over against the south.
14-4:15 One
sea, and twelve oxen under it.
14-8:17 Then
went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea
side in the land of Edom.
14-8:18 And
Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had
knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants
of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold,
and brought them to king Solomon.
14-20:2 Then
there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude
against thee from beyond the sea on this side
Syria; and, behold, they be in
Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.
15-3:7 They
gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink,
and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from
Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the
grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.
16-9:9 And
didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the
Red sea;
16-9:11 And
thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they
went through the midst of the sea on the dry
land; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the
mighty waters.
17-10:1 And
the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.
18-6:3 For
now it would be heavier than the sand of the sea:
therefore my words are swallowed up.
18-7:12 Am I a sea,
or a whale, that thou settest a watch over me?
18-9:8 Which
alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
18-11:9 The
measure thereof is longer than the
earth, and broader than the sea.
18-12:8 Or
speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
18-14:11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:
18-26:12 He
divideth the sea with his power, and by his
understanding he smiteth through the proud.
18-28:14 The
depth saith, It is not in me: and the
sea saith, It
is not with me.
18-36:30 Behold,
he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
18-38:8 Or
who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
18-38:16 Hast
thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast
thou walked in the search of the depth?
18-41:31 He
maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea
like a pot of ointment.
19-8:8 The
fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths
of the seas.
19-33:7 He
gathereth the waters of the sea together as an
heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
19-46:2 Therefore
will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be
carried into the midst of the sea;
19-65:5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt
thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who
art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar
off upon the sea:
19-66:6 He
turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in
him.
19-68:22 The
Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
19-72:8 He
shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
19-74:13 Thou
didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou
brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
19-77:19 Thy
way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not
known.
19-78:13 He
divided the sea, and caused them to pass
through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.
19-78:27 He
rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of
the sea:
19-78:53 And
he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
19-80:11 She
sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her
branches unto the river.
19-89:9 Thou
rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves
thereof arise, thou stillest them.
19-89:25 I
will set his hand also in the sea, and his right
hand in the rivers.
19-93:4 The
LORD on high is mightier than the
noise of many waters, yea, than the
mighty waves of the sea.
19-95:5 The
sea is his,
and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
19-96:11 Let
the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
19-98:7 Let
the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the
world, and they that dwell therein.
19-104:25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are
things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
19-106:7 Our
fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude
of thy mercies; but provoked him at
the sea, even
at the Red sea.
19-106:9 He
rebuked the Red sea
also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the
wilderness.
19-106:22 Wondrous
works in the land of Ham, and terrible
things by the Red sea.
19-107:23 They
that go down to the sea in ships, that do
business in great waters;
19-114:3 The
sea saw it,
and fled: Jordan was driven back.
19-114:5 What
ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
19-136:13 To
him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:
19-136:15 But
overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth
for ever.
19-139:9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
19-146:6 Which
made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that
therein is: which keepeth truth for
ever:
20-8:29 When
he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters
should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the
earth:
20-23:34 Yea,
thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
20-30:19 The
way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship
in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man
with a maid.
21-1:7 All
the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not
full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
23-5:30 And
in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look
unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow,
and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
23-9:1 Nevertheless
the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the
land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously
afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
23-10:22 For
though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea,
yet a remnant of them shall return:
the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23-10:26 And
the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of
Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his
rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
23-11:9 They
shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full
of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
23-11:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the
Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his
people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros,
and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the
islands of the sea.
23-11:15 And
the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand
over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
23-16:8 For
the fields of Heshbon languish, and the
vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants
thereof, they are come even unto
Jazer, they wandered through the
wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
23-18:2 That
sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels
of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go,
ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible
from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land
the rivers have spoiled!
23-19:5 And
the waters shall fail from the sea, and the
river shall be wasted and dried up.
23-21:1 The
burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds
in the south pass through; so it
cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
23-23:2 Be
still, ye inhabitants of the isle; thou whom the merchants of Zidon, that pass
over the sea, have replenished.
23-23:4 Be
thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children,
neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring
up virgins.
23-23:11 He
stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook
the kingdoms: the LORD hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy the strong holds
thereof.
23-24:14 They
shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they
shall cry aloud from the sea.
23-24:15 Wherefore
glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the
name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
23-27:1 In
that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish
leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he
shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
23-42:10 Sing
unto the LORD a new song, and his
praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the
inhabitants thereof.
23-43:16 Thus
saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea,
and a path in the mighty waters;
23-48:18 O
that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a
river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
23-50:2 Wherefore,
when I came, was there no man? when I
called, was there none to answer? Is
my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver?
behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make
the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
23-51:10 Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the
depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass
over?
23-51:15 But
I am the LORD thy God, that divided
the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.
23-57:20 But
the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire
and dirt.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged;
because the abundance of the sea shall be
converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
23-63:11 Then
he remembered the days of old, Moses, and
his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within
him?
24-5:22 Fear
ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have
placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and
though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they
roar, yet can they not pass over it?
24-6:23 They
shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are
cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men
for war against thee, O daughter of Zion.
24-25:22 And
all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles
which are beyond the sea,
24-27:19 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the
residue of the vessels that remain in this city,
24-31:35 Thus
saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by
night, which divideth the sea when the waves
thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his
name:
24-33:22 As
the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my
servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
24-46:18 As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by
the sea, so
shall he come.
24-47:7 How
can it be quiet, seeing the LORD hath given it a charge against Ashkelon, and
against the sea shore? there hath he appointed
it.
24-48:32 O
vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are
gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea
of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.
24-49:21 The
earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was
heard in the Red sea.
24-49:23 Concerning
Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings:
they are fainthearted; there is sorrow
on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
24-50:42 They
shall hold the bow and the lance: they are
cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to
the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
24-51:36 Therefore
thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for
thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her
springs dry.
24-51:42 The
sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with
the multitude of the waves thereof.
24-52:17 Also
the pillars of brass that were in the
house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea
that was in the house of the LORD,
the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.
24-52:20 The
two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls
that were under the bases, which king
Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was
without weight.
25-2:13 What
thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter
of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin
daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great
like the sea: who can heal thee?
25-4:3 Even
the sea monsters draw out the breast, they give
suck to their young ones: the daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
26-25:16 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the
Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
26-26:3 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against
thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.
26-26:5 It
shall be a place for the spreading of
nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall
become a spoil to the nations.
26-26:16 Then
all the princes of the sea shall come down from
their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments:
they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground,
and shall tremble at every moment,
and be astonished at thee.
26-26:17 And
they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou
destroyed, that wast inhabited of
seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror
to be on all that haunt it!
26-26:18 Now
shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea
shall be troubled at thy departure.
26-27:3 And
say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a
merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou
hast said, I am of perfect beauty.
26-27:9 The
ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof
were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea
with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.
26-27:29 And
all that handle the oar, the mariners, and
all the pilots of the sea, shall come down
from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
26-27:32 And
in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over
thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed
in the midst of the sea?
26-38:20 So
that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the
heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon
the earth, and all the men that are upon
the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be
thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the
ground.
26-39:11 And
it shall come to pass in that day, that I
will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the
passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall
stop the noses of the passengers: and
there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamongog.
26-47:8 Then
said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down
into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
26-47:10 And
it shall come to pass, that the fishers
shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish
shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
26-47:15 And
this shall be the border of the land
toward the north side, from the great sea, the
way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;
26-47:17 And
the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border
of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.
26-47:18 And
the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead,
and from the land of Israel by Jordan,
from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.
26-47:19 And
the south side southward, from Tamar even
to the waters of strife in Kadesh,
the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.
26-47:20 The
west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against
Hamath. This is the west side.
26-48:28 And
by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even
from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.
27-7:2 Daniel
spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the
heaven strove upon the great sea.
27-7:3 And
four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse
one from another.
28-1:10 Yet
the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it
shall come to pass, that in the place
where it was said unto them, Ye are not
my people, there it shall be said
unto them, Ye are the sons of the
living God.
28-4:3 Therefore
shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with
the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
29-2:20 But
I will remove far off from you the northern army,
and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward
the east sea, and his hinder part toward the
utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his
ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
30-5:8 Seek him that maketh the seven stars and
Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day
dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea,
and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
30-8:12 And
they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall
run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
30-9:3 And
though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out
thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall
bite them:
30-9:6 It is he that buildeth his stories in
the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the
waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the
face of the earth: The LORD is his
name.
32-1:4 But
the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and
there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that
the ship was like to be broken.
32-1:5 Then
the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the
wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it
of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay,
and was fast asleep.
32-1:9 And
he said unto them, I am an Hebrew;
and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.
32-1:11 Then
said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
32-1:12 And
he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea
be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
32-1:13 Nevertheless
the men rowed hard to bring it to the
land; but they could not: for the sea wrought,
and was tempestuous against them.
32-1:15 So
they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea:
and the sea ceased from her raging.
33-7:12 In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the
fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain
to mountain.
33-7:19 He
will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our
iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
34-1:4 He
rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth
up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon
languisheth.
34-3:8 Art
thou better than populous No, that was situate among the rivers, that had the waters round about it,
whose rampart was the sea, and her
wall was from the sea?
35-1:14 And
makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the
creeping things, that have no ruler
over them?
35-2:14 For
the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the
waters cover the sea.
35-3:8 Was
the LORD displeased against the rivers? was
thine anger against the rivers? was thy
wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon
thine horses and thy chariots of
salvation?
35-3:15 Thou
didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
36-1:3 I
will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the
fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with
the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.
36-2:5 Woe
unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the
nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even
destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
36-2:6 And
the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds
for flocks.
37-2:6 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is
a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
38-9:4 Behold,
the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
38-9:10 And
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the
battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his
dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
38-10:11 And
he shall pass through the sea with affliction,
and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all
the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought
down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
38-14:8 And
it shall be in that day, that living
waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
40-4:13 And
leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of
Zabulon and Nephthalim:
40-4:15 The land
of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by
the way of the sea, beyond
Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
40-4:18 And
Jesus, walking by the sea of
Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting
a net into the sea: for
they were fishers.
40-8:24 And,
behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves:
but he was asleep.
40-8:26 And he
saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and
rebuked the winds and the sea; and
there was a great calm.
40-8:27 But the
men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
40-8:32 And he
said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of
swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place
into the sea, and
perished in the waters.
40-13:1 The same
day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
40-13:47 Again, the
kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
40-14:24 But the ship
was now in the midst of the sea, tossed
with waves: for the wind was contrary.
40-14:25 And in the
fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
40-14:26 And when
the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and
they cried out for fear.
40-15:29 And Jesus
departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat
down there.
40-17:27 Notwithstanding,
lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first
cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of
money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
40-18:6 But whoso
shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for
him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
40-21:21 Jesus
answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt
not, ye shall not only do this which is
done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
40-23:15 Woe unto
you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is
made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
41-1:16 Now as he
walked by the sea of
Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
41-2:13 And he
went forth again by the sea side;
and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.
41-3:7 But
Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him,
and from Judaea,
41-4:1 And he
began again to teach by the sea side:
and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a
ship, and sat in the sea; and the
whole multitude was by the sea on the
land.
41-4:39 And he
arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there
was a great calm.
41-4:41 And they
feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that
even the wind and the sea obey
him?
41-5:1 And they
came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
41-5:13 And
forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into
the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two
thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
41-5:21 And when
Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered
unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.
41-6:47 And when
even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.
41-6:48 And he
saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the
fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
41-6:49 But when
they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:
41-7:31 And
again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst
of the coasts of Decapolis.
41-9:42 And
whosoever shall offend one of these little
ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged
about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
41-11:23 For verily
I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed,
and be thou cast into the sea; and
shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he
saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
42-6:17 And he
came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples,
and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which
came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
42-17:2 It were
better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into
the sea, than
that he should offend one of these little ones.
42-17:6 And the Lord
said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this
sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
42-21:25 And there
shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the
earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
43-6:1 After
these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias.
43-6:16 And when
even was now come, his disciples went
down unto the sea,
43-6:17 And
entered into a ship, and went over the sea
toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
43-6:18 And the sea arose by reason of a great wind
that blew.
43-6:19 So when they
had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on
the sea, and
drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
43-6:22 The day
following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other
boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus
went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
43-6:25 And when
they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou
hither?
43-21:1 After
these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise
shewed he himself.
43-21:7 Therefore
that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon
Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his
fisher’s coat unto him, (for he
was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
44-4:24 And when
they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said,
Lord, thou art God, which hast made
heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all
that in them is:
44-7:36 He
brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of
Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty
years.
44-10:6 He
lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
44-10:32 Send
therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged
in the house of one Simon a tanner by
the sea side:
who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
44-14:15 And
saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with
you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the
living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
44-17:14 And then
immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode
there still.
44-27:5 And when
we had sailed over the sea of
Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a
city of Lycia.
44-27:30 And as the
shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat
into the sea, under
colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
44-27:38 And when
they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the
sea.
44-27:40 And when
they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoisted up the
mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.
44-27:43 But the centurion,
willing to save Paul, kept them from their
purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:
44-28:4 And when
the barbarians saw the venomous beast
hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer,
whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
45-9:27 Esaias
also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be
as the sand of the sea, a
remnant shall be saved:
46-10:1 Moreover,
brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were
under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
46-10:2 And
were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
47-11:26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils
by the heathen, in perils in the
city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils
among false brethren;
58-11:12 Therefore
sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which
is by the sea shore
innumerable.
58-11:29 By faith
they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
59-1:6 But let him
ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and
tossed.
59-3:7 For
every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed
of mankind:
65-1:13 Raging waves
of the sea, foaming
out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of
darkness for ever.
66-4:6 And
before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and
in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
66-5:13 And every
creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as
are in the sea, and all
that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
66-7:1 And
after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth,
holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the
earth, nor on the sea, nor on
any tree.
66-7:2 And I
saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God:
and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt
the earth and the sea,
66-7:3 Saying,
Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of
our God in their foreheads.
66-8:8 And the
second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was
cast into the sea: and the
third part of the sea became
blood;
66-8:9 And the
third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the
ships were destroyed.
66-10:2 And he
had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the
earth,
66-10:5 And the
angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
66-10:6 And sware
by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that
therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are
therein, that there should be time no longer:
66-10:8 And the
voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open
in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
66-12:12 Therefore
rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that
dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down
unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
66-13:1 And I
stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw
a beast rise up out of the sea, having
seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads
the name of blasphemy.
66-14:7 Saying
with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his
judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
66-15:2 And I saw
as it were a sea of glass
mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and
over his image, and over his mark, and over
the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
66-16:3 And the
second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.
66-18:17 For in one
hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the
company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
66-18:19 And they
cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas,
that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness!
for in one hour is she made desolate.
66-18:21 And a
mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city
Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
66-20:8 And shall
go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog
and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
66-20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in
it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were
judged every man according to their works.
66-21:1 And I saw
a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were
passed away; and there was no more sea.
