01-2:19 And out of
the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the
air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam
called every living creature, that was the
name thereof.
01-8:8 Also he
sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters
were abated from off the face of the ground;
01-11:5 And the
LORD came down to see the city and the tower,
which the children of men builded.
01-12:12 Therefore
it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see
thee, that they shall say, This is his
wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
01-18:21 I will go
down now, and see whether they have done
altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I
will know.
01-19:21 And he
said unto him, See, I have accepted thee
concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which
thou hast spoken.
01-21:16 And she
went, and sat her down over against him a
good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
01-27:1 And it
came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could
not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said
unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.
01-27:27 And he
came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed
him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the
LORD hath blessed:
01-31:5 And said
unto them, I see your father’s countenance, that
it is not toward me as before; but
the God of my father hath been with me.
01-31:12 And he
said, Lift up now thine eyes, and see, all the
rams which leap upon the cattle are ringstraked,
speckled, and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.
01-31:50 If thou
shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take other wives beside my daughters, no man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee.
01-32:20 And say ye
moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind
us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and
afterward I will see his face; peradventure he
will accept of me.
01-34:1 And Dinah
the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.
01-37:14 And he
said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be
well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So
he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.
01-37:20 Come now
therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say,
Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see
what will become of his dreams.
01-39:14 That she
called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us;
he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:
01-41:41 And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee
over all the land of Egypt.
01-42:9 And Joseph
remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see
the nakedness of the land ye are come.
01-42:12 And he
said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of
the land ye are come.
01-43:3 And Judah
spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall
not see my face, except your brother be with you.
01-43:5 But if
thou wilt not send him, we will not
go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see
my face, except your brother be with
you.
01-44:23 And thou
saidst unto thy servants, Except your youngest brother come down with you, ye
shall see my face no more.
01-44:26 And we
said, We cannot go down: if our youngest brother be with us, then will we go
down: for we may not see the man’s face, except
our youngest brother be with us.
01-44:34 For how
shall I go up to my father, and the lad be
not with me? lest peradventure I see the
evil that shall come on my father.
01-45:12 And,
behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my
brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth
that speaketh unto you.
01-45:24 So he sent
his brethren away, and they departed: and he said unto them, See that ye fall not out by the way.
01-45:28 And Israel
said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
01-48:10 Now the
eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he
could not see. And he brought them near unto
him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.
01-48:11 And Israel
said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy
face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.
02-1:16 And he said, When ye do the office
of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if
it be a daughter, then she shall
live.
02-3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn
aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is
not burnt.
02-3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned
aside to see, God called unto him out of the
midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
02-4:18 And Moses went and returned to
Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return
unto my brethren which are in Egypt,
and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro
said to Moses, Go in peace.
02-4:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, When
thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou
do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will
harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
02-5:19 And the officers of the children of
Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not
minish ought from your bricks of your
daily task.
02-6:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now
shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for
with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive
them out of his land.
02-7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy
brother shall be thy prophet.
02-10:5 And they shall cover the face of the
earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth:
and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto
you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the
field:
02-10:28 And Pharaoh said unto him, Get thee
from me, take heed to thyself, see my face no
more; for in that day thou seest my
face thou shalt die.
02-10:29 And Moses said, Thou hast spoken
well, I will see thy face again no more.
02-12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a
token upon the houses where ye are: and
when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and
the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Egypt.
02-13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had
let the people go, that God led them not through
the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when
they see war, and they return to Egypt:
02-14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear
ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of
the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen
to day, ye shall see them again no more for
ever.
02-16:7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings
against the LORD: and what are we,
that ye murmur against us?
02-16:29 See,
for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the
sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go
out of his place on the seventh day.
02-16:32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth,
Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the
wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
02-22:8 If the thief be not found, then the
master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand
unto his neighbour’s goods.
02-23:5 If thou see
the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to
help him, thou shalt surely help with him.
02-31:2 See,
I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of
Judah:
02-33:12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou
hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know
thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
02-33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
02-33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and
thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall
not be seen.
02-34:10 And he said, Behold, I make a
covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done
in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see
the work of the LORD: for it is a
terrible thing that I will do with thee.
02-35:30 And Moses said unto the children of
Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name
Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
03-13:8 And if the priest see
that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce
him unclean: it is a leprosy.
03-13:10 And the
priest shall see him: and, behold, if the
rising be white in the skin, and it
have turned the hair white, and there be quick
raw flesh in the rising;
03-13:15 And the
priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce
him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.
03-13:17 And the
priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then
the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
03-13:30 Then the
priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair;
then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a
leprosy upon the head or beard.
03-14:36 Then the
priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see
the plague, that all that is in the house
be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:
03-20:17 And if a
man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and
see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their
people: he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
04-4:20 But they
shall not go in to see when the holy things are
covered, lest they die.
04-11:15 And if
thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found
favour in thy sight; and let me not see my
wretchedness.
04-11:23 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD’S hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee
or not.
04-13:18 And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;
04-14:23 Surely
they shall not see the land which I sware unto
their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
04-22:41 And it
came to pass on the morrow, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the
high places of Baal, that thence he might see
the utmost part of the people.
04-23:9 For from
the top of the rocks I see him, and from the
hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned
among the nations.
04-23:13 And Balak
said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou
mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.
04-24:17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not
nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of
Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of
Sheth.
04-27:12 And the
LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of
Israel.
04-32:8 Thus did
your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see
the land.
04-32:11 Surely
none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward,
shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham,
unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
05-1:35 Surely
there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your
fathers,
05-1:36 Save
Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and
to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children,
because he hath wholly followed the LORD.
05-3:25 I pray
thee, let me go over, and see the good land that
is beyond Jordan, that goodly
mountain, and Lebanon.
05-3:28 But
charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over
before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou
shalt see.
05-4:28 And there
ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
05-18:16 According
to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the
assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither
let me see this great fire any more, that I die
not.
05-22:1 Thou
shalt not see thy brother’s ox or his sheep go
astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto
thy brother.
05-22:4 Thou
shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall
down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift
them up again.
05-23:14 For the
LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up
thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
05-28:10 And all
people of the earth shall see that thou art
called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
05-28:34 So that
thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
05-28:67 In the
morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say,
Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear,
and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
05-28:68 And the
LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake
unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there
ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall
buy you.
05-29:4 Yet the
LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
05-29:22 So that
the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the
stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which
the LORD hath laid upon it;
05-30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good,
and death and evil;
05-32:20 And he
said, I will hide my face from them, I will see
what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children
in whom is no faith.
05-32:39 See now that I, even
I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make
alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is
there any that can deliver out of my hand.
05-32:52 Yet thou
shalt see the land before thee; but thou shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the
children of Israel.
05-34:4 And the
LORD said unto him, This is the land
which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it
unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not
go over thither.
06-3:3 And they
commanded the people, saying, When ye see the
ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing
it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.
06-6:2 And the
LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into
thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and
the mighty men of valour.
06-8:1 And the
LORD said unto Joshua, Fear not, neither be thou dismayed: take all the people
of war with thee, and arise, go up to Ai: see, I
have given into thy hand the king of Ai, and his people, and his city, and his
land:
06-8:8 And it
shall be, when ye have taken the city, that
ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of the LORD
shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.
06-22:10 And when
they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are
in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and
the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.
07-9:37 And
Gaal spake again and said, See there come people
down by the middle of the land, and another company come along by the plain of
Meonenim.
07-14:8 And
after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in
the carcase of the lion.
07-16:5 And
the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him,
and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict
him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.
07-21:21 And
see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh
come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every
man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.
09-2:32 And
thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the
wealth which God shall give
Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.
09-3:2 And
it came to pass at that time, when Eli was
laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see;
09-4:15 Now
Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could not see.
09-6:9 And
see, if it goeth up by the way of his own coast
to Bethshemesh, then he hath done us
this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote
us: it was a chance that happened to us.
09-6:13 And
they of Bethshemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the
valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.
09-10:24 And
Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom
the LORD hath chosen, that there is none
like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save
the king.
09-12:16 Now
therefore stand and see this great thing, which
the LORD will do before your eyes.
09-12:17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will
call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive
and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the
sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
09-14:17 Then
said Saul unto the people that were with
him, Number now, and see who is gone from us.
And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there.
09-14:29 Then
said Jonathan, My father hath troubled the land: see,
I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of
this honey.
09-14:38 And
Saul said, Draw ye near hither, all the chief of the people: and know and see wherein this sin hath been this day.
09-15:35 And
Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of
his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he
had made Saul king over Israel.
09-17:28 And
Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger
was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom
hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the
naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
09-19:3 And
I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where thou art, and I will commune with my father
of thee; and what I see, that I will tell thee.
09-19:15 And
Saul sent the messengers again to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that
I may slay him.
09-20:29 And
he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city;
and my brother, he hath commanded me to
be there: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away, I
pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he
cometh not unto the king’s table.
09-21:14 Then
said Achish unto his servants, Lo, ye see the
man is mad: wherefore then have ye
brought him to me?
09-23:22 Go,
I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his
place where his haunt is, and who
hath seen him there: for it is told me that
he dealeth very subtilly.
09-23:23 See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking
places where he hideth himself, and come ye again to me with the certainty, and
I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I
will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
09-24:11 Moreover,
my father, see, yea, see
the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe,
and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression
in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to
take it.
09-24:15 The
LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine
hand.
09-25:35 So
David received of her hand that which
she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted
thy person.
09-26:16 This
thing is not good that thou hast
done. As the LORD liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not
kept your master, the LORD’S anointed. And now see
where the king’s spear is, and the cruse
of water that was at his bolster.
10-3:13 And
he said, Well; I will make a league with thee: but one thing I require of thee,
that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou
first bring Michal Saul’s daughter, when thou comest to see my face.
10-7:2 That
the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now,
I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.
10-13:5 And
Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and
when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto
him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the
meat in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.
10-13:6 So
Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar
my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at
her hand.
10-14:24 And
the king said, Let him turn to his own house, and let him not see my face. So Absalom returned to his own house, and
saw not the king’s face.
10-14:30 Therefore
he said unto his servants, See, Joab’s field is
near mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom’s
servants set the field on fire.
10-14:32 And
Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I
may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? it had been good for me to have been there still: now therefore
let me see the king’s face; and if there be any iniquity in me, let him kill me.
10-15:3 And
Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.
10-15:28 See, I will tarry in the plain of the wilderness,
until there come word from you to certify me.
10-24:3 And
Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many
soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but
why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?
10-24:13 So
Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine
come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine
enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days’ pestilence in thy
land? now advise, and see what answer I shall
return to him that sent me.
11-9:12 And
Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which
Solomon had given him; and they pleased him not.
11-12:16 So
when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered
the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel:
now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed
unto their tents.
11-14:4 And
Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of
Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes
were set by reason of his age.
11-17:23 And
Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house,
and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See,
thy son liveth.
11-20:7 Then
the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray
you, and see how this man seeketh mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my
children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.
11-20:22 And
the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen
thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for
at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
11-22:25 And
Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that
day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
12-2:10 And
he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless,
if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it
shall not be so.
12-3:14 And
Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts
liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of
Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.
12-3:17 For
thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind,
neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall
be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your
beasts.
12-5:7 And
it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his
clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill
and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his
leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see
how he seeketh a quarrel against me.
12-6:17 And
Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man;
and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was
full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
12-6:20 And
it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, LORD, open
the eyes of these men, that they may see. And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw;
and, behold, they were in the midst
of Samaria.
12-6:32 But
Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to
him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son
of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the messenger
cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?
12-7:2 Then
a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold,
if the LORD would make windows in
heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with
thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some
take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the
city, (behold, they are as all the
multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as
all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.
12-7:14 They
took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the
Syrians, saying, Go and see.
12-7:19 And
that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be?
And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with
thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
12-8:29 And
king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians
had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And
Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see
Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
12-9:16 So
Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah
king of Judah was come down to see Joram.
12-9:17 And
there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of
Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And
Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?
12-9:34 And
when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is
a king’s daughter.
12-10:16 And
he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the
LORD. So they made him ride in his chariot.
12-19:16 LORD,
bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath
sent him to reproach the living God.
12-22:20 Behold
therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into
thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see
all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word
again.
12-23:17 Then
he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God,
which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against
the altar of Bethel.
14-10:16 And
when all Israel saw that the king
would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion
have we in David? and we have none
inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see
to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.
14-18:16 Then
he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the
mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no
master; let them return therefore every
man to his house in peace.
14-18:24 And
Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see on that day
when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
14-20:17 Ye
shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see
the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be
dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
14-22:6 And
he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him
at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of
Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram
the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.
14-24:5 And
he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto
the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your
God from year to year, and see that ye hasten
the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened it
not.
14-25:17 Then
Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the
son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see
one another in the face.
14-29:8 Wherefore
the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them
to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see
with your eyes.
14-30:7 And
be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against
the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore
gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
14-34:28 Behold,
I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered to thy grave in
peace, neither shall thine eyes see all the evil
that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So
they brought the king word again.
15-4:14 Now
because we have maintenance from the
king’s palace, and it was not meet for us to see
the king’s dishonour, therefore have we sent and certified the king;
16-2:17 Then
said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are
burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be
no more a reproach.
16-4:11 And
our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see,
till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to
cease.
16-9:9 And
didst see the affliction of our fathers in
Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea;
17-3:4 Now
it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto
them, that they told Haman, to see whether
Mordecai’s matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
17-5:13 Yet
all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see
Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.
17-8:6 For
how can I endure to see the evil that shall come
unto my people? or how can I endure to see the
destruction of my kindred?
18-3:9 Let
the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
18-6:21 For
now ye are nothing; ye see my casting down, and are afraid.
18-7:7 O
remember that my life is wind: mine
eye shall no more see good.
18-7:8 The
eye of him that hath seen me shall see me no more: thine eyes are upon me, and I am not.
18-9:11 Lo,
he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not.
18-9:25 Now
my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see
no good.
18-10:15 If
I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be
righteous, yet will I not lift up my
head. I am full of confusion;
therefore see thou mine affliction;
18-17:15 And
where is now my hope? as for my hope,
who shall see it?
18-19:26 And
though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
18-19:27 Whom
I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall
behold, and not another; though my
reins be consumed within me.
18-20:9 The
eye also which saw him shall see him no
more; neither shall his place any more behold him.
18-20:17 He
shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks
of honey and butter.
18-21:20 His
eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall
drink of the wrath of the Almighty.
18-22:11 Or
darkness, that thou canst not see; and abundance of waters cover thee.
18-22:19 The
righteous see it, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.
18-23:9 On
the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
18-24:1 Why,
seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
18-24:15 The
eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
18-28:27 Then
did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it,
yea, and searched it out.
18-31:4 Doth
not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
18-33:26 He
shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his
righteousness.
18-33:28 He
will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
18-34:32 That which I see
not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
18-35:5 Look
unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds
which are higher than thou.
18-35:14 Although
thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
18-36:25 Every
man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
18-37:21 And
now men see
not the bright light which is in the
clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
19-10:11 He
hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
19-14:2 The
LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
19-16:10 For
thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to
see corruption.
19-22:7 All
they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot
out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
19-27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the
living.
19-31:11 I
was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and
a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see
me without fled from me.
19-34:8 O
taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the
man that trusteth in him.
19-34:12 What
man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
19-36:9 For
with thee is the fountain of life: in
thy light shall we see light.
19-37:34 Wait
on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when
the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
19-40:3 And
he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise
unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the
LORD.
19-41:6 And
if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
19-49:9 That
he should still live for ever, and not
see corruption.
19-49:19 He
shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
19-52:6 The
righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall
laugh at him:
19-53:2 God
looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see
if there were any that did
understand, that did seek God.
19-58:8 As
a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
19-59:10 The
God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see
my desire upon mine enemies.
19-63:2 To
see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
19-64:5 They
encourage themselves in an evil
matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
19-64:8 So
they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
19-66:5 Come
and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing
toward the children of men.
19-69:23 Let
their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and
make their loins continually to shake.
19-69:32 The
humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
19-74:9 We
see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
19-86:17 Shew
me a token for good; that they which hate me may see
it, and be ashamed: because thou,
LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
19-89:48 What
man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of
the grave? Selah.
19-91:8 Only
with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the
reward of the wicked.
19-92:11 Mine
eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and
mine ears shall hear my desire of
the wicked that rise up against me.
19-94:7 Yet
they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall
the God of Jacob regard it.
19-94:9 He
that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
19-97:6 The
heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see
his glory.
19-106:5 That
I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may
rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
19-107:24 These
see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in
the deep.
19-107:42 The
righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
19-112:8 His
heart is established, he shall not be
afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
19-112:10 The
wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:
the desire of the wicked shall perish.
19-115:5 They
have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
19-118:7 The
LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon
them that hate me.
19-119:74 They
that fear thee will be glad when they see me;
because I have hoped in thy word.
19-128:5 The
LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see
the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
19-128:6 Yea,
thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
19-135:16 They
have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
19-139:16 Thine
eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
and in thy book all my members were
written, which in continuance were
fashioned, when as yet there was none
of them.
19-139:24 And
see if there
be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
20-24:18 Lest
the LORD see it,
and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
20-29:16 When
the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.
21-1:10 Is
there any thing whereof it may be
said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
21-2:3 I
sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with
wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see
what was that good for the sons of
men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.
21-3:18 I
said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might
manifest them, and that they might see that they
themselves are beasts.
21-3:22 Wherefore
I perceive that there is nothing
better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him
to see what shall be after him?
21-7:11 Wisdom
is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.
21-8:16 When
I applied mine heart to know wisdom, and to see the
business that is done upon the earth: (for also there is that neither day nor night seeth sleep with his eyes:)
22-2:14 O my
dove, that art in the clefts of the
rock, in the secret places of the
stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear
thy voice; for sweet is thy voice,
and thy countenance is comely.
22-6:11 I went
down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits
of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded.
22-6:13 Return,
return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two
armies.
22-7:12 Let us
get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the
vine flourish, whether the tender
grape appear, and the pomegranates bud
forth: there will I give thee my loves.
23-5:19 That
say, Let him make speed, and hasten
his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and
come, that we may know it!
23-6:9 And
he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
23-6:10 Make
the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes;
lest they see with their eyes, and hear with
their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
23-13:1 The
burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
23-14:16 They
that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did
shake kingdoms;
23-18:3 All
ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he
bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
23-26:11 LORD,
when thy hand is lifted up, they will
not see: but
they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire
of thine enemies shall devour them.
23-29:18 And
in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the
blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of
darkness.
23-30:10 Which
say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy
not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
23-30:20 And
though the Lord give you the bread of
adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed
into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see
thy teachers:
23-32:3 And
the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and
the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
23-33:17 Thine
eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they
shall behold the land that is very far off.
23-33:19 Thou
shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a
deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.
23-33:20 Look
upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of
the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords
thereof be broken.
23-35:2 It
shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of
Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall
see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
23-37:17 Incline
thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath
sent to reproach the living God.
23-38:11 I
said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the
living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
23-40:5 And
the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together:
for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
23-41:20 That
they may see, and know, and consider, and understand
together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel
hath created it.
23-42:18 Hear,
ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
23-44:9 They
that make a graven image are all of
them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
23-44:18 They
have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their
hearts, that they cannot understand.
23-48:6 Thou
hast heard, see all this; and will not ye
declare it? I have shewed thee new
things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
23-49:7 Thus
saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and
his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to
a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise,
princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall
choose thee.
23-52:8 Thy
watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for
they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall
bring again Zion.
23-52:10 The
LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the
ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our
God.
23-52:15 So
shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall
they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
23-53:2 For
he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry
ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there
is no beauty that we should desire him.
23-53:10 Yet
it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he
shall see his
seed, he shall prolong his days, and
the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
23-53:11 He
shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge
shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
23-60:4 Lift
up thine eyes round about, and see: all they
gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far,
and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.
23-60:5 Then
thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine
heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be
converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
23-61:9 And
their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the
people: all that see them shall acknowledge
them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
23-62:2 And
the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and
all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of
the LORD shall name.
23-64:9 Be
not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
23-66:14 And
when ye see this,
your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and
the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
23-66:18 For
I know their works and their
thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they
shall come, and see my glory.
24-1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and
over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down,
to build, and to plant.
24-1:11 Moreover
the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I
said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
24-1:13 And
the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And
I said, I see a seething pot; and the face
thereof is toward the north.
24-2:10 For
pass over the isles of Chittim, and see; and send
unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and see if
there be such a thing.
24-2:19 Thine
own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee:
know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and
bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of
hosts.
24-2:23 How
canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing
her ways;
24-2:31 O
generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I
been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We
are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
24-3:2 Lift
up thine eyes unto the high places, and see
where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the
Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms
and with thy wickedness.
24-4:21 How
long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?
24-5:1 Run
ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see
now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if
there be any that executeth judgment,
that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.
24-5:12 They
have belied the LORD, and said, It is not
he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see
sword nor famine:
24-5:21 Hear
now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
24-6:16 Thus
saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths, where is the
good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they
said, We will not walk therein.
24-7:12 But
go ye now unto my place which was in
Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see
what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
24-11:20 But,
O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart,
let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee
have I revealed my cause.
24-12:4 How
long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the
wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds;
because they said, He shall not see our last
end.
24-14:13 Then
said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I
will give you assured peace in this place.
24-17:6 For
he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the
wilderness, in a salt land and not
inhabited.
24-17:8 For
he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and
shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding
fruit.
24-20:12 But,
O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and
seest the reins and the heart, let me see
thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.
24-20:18 Wherefore
came I forth out of the womb to see labour and
sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
24-22:10 Weep
ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but
weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
24-22:12 But
he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.
24-23:24 Can
any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see
him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
24-30:6 Ask
ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with
child? wherefore do I see every man with his
hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into
paleness?
24-42:14 Saying,
No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor
have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
24-42:18 For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath
been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured
forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration,
and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.
24-51:61 And
Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;
25-1:11 All
her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for
meat to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and
consider; for I am become vile.
25-1:12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass
by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like
unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
26-8:6 He
said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the
house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary?
but turn thee yet again, and thou
shalt see greater abominations.
26-8:13 He
said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and
thou shalt see greater abominations that
they do.
26-8:15 Then
said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O
son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou
shalt see greater abominations than these.
26-12:2 Son
of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they
have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are
a rebellious house.
26-12:6 In
their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the
twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see
not the ground: for I have set thee for a
sign unto the house of Israel.
26-12:12 And
the prince that is among them shall
bear upon his shoulder in the
twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out
thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see
not the ground with his eyes.
26-12:13 My
net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will
bring him to Babylon to the land of
the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though
he shall die there.
26-13:9 And
mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see
vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people,
neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither
shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-13:16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which
prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see
visions of peace for her, and there is no
peace, saith the Lord GOD.
26-13:23 Therefore
ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine
divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know
that I am the LORD.
26-14:22 Yet,
behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they
shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see
their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that
I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning
all that I have brought upon it.
26-14:23 And
they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways
and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that
I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
26-16:37 Behold,
therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and
all them that thou hast loved, with
all them that thou hast hated; I will
even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto
them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
26-20:48 And
all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled
it: it shall not be quenched.
26-21:29 Whiles
they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a
lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity
shall have an end.
26-32:31 Pharaoh
shall see them, and shall be comforted over all
his multitude, even Pharaoh and all
his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
26-33:6 But
if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not
the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken
away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that
I have laid upon them.
27-1:10 And
the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath
appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see
your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
27-2:8 The
king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time,
because ye see the thing is gone from me.
27-3:25 He
answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the
fourth is like the Son of God.
27-5:23 But
hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the
vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy
concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver,
and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see
not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
29-2:28 And
it shall come to pass afterward, that I
will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
30-6:2 Pass
ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye
to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or
their border greater than your border?

Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there
made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.
33-6:9 The
LORD’S voice crieth unto the city, and the
man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye
the rod, and who hath appointed it.

shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes
shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

nations shall see and be confounded at all their
might: they shall lay their hand upon
their mouth, their ears shall be
deaf.

burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
35-2:1 I
will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer
when I am reproved.

LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of
Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.
37-2:3 Who
is left among you that saw this house
in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of
it as nothing?
38-2:2 Then
said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the
breadth thereof, and what is the
length thereof.
38-4:10 For
who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to
and fro through the whole earth.
38-5:2 And
he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see
a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty
cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

shall not be inhabited.
38-10:7 And
they of Ephraim shall be like a
mighty man, and their heart shall
rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see
it, and be glad; their heart shall
rejoice in the LORD.
39-1:5 And
your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will
be magnified from the border of Israel.
40-5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
40-5:16 Let your
light so shine before men, that they may see
your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s
eye.

eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no
man know it.

answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do
hear and see:

they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What
went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed
shaken with the wind?
40-11:8 But what
went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft
raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing
are in kings’ houses.
40-11:9 But what
went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say
unto you, and more than a prophet.
40-12:38 Then
certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see
not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
40-13:14 And in
them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall
hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see,
and shall not perceive:
40-13:15 For this
people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears
are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they
should see with their eyes and hear with their
ears, and should understand with their
heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
40-13:16 But
blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
40-13:17 For verily
I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those
things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
40-15:31 Insomuch
that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be
whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see:

40-16:28 Verily I
say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till
they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

ye shall say, Blessed is he that
cometh in the name of the Lord.

said unto them, See ye not all these things?
verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
40-24:6 And ye
shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that
ye be not troubled: for all these things must
come to pass, but the end is not yet.
40-24:15 When ye
therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:)
40-24:30 And then
shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the
tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see
the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
40-24:33 So
likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the
doors.
40-26:58 But Peter
followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with
the servants, to see the end.

goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see
him: lo, I have told you.

Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee,
and there shall they see me.

unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but
go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those
things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

forgiven them.

of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth
understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
41-13:26 And then
shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds
with great power and glory.

like manner, when ye shall see these things come

how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in

hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy
brother’s eye.

unto you, and much more than a prophet.

death, till they see the kingdom of God.

turned him unto his disciples, and
said privately, Blessed are the eyes
which see the things that ye see:

you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see
those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye
hear, and have not heard them.

42-21:30 When they

pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see;

came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him,

blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes,

little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see
me: because I live, ye shall live also.
43-16:10 Of
righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see
me no more;

while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a
little while, and ye shall see me, because I go
to the Father.
43-16:17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves,
What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?
43-16:19 Now Jesus
knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire
among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
43-16:22 And ye now
therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again,
and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
43-18:26 One of the
servants of the high priest, being his kinsman
whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see
thee in the garden with him?
43-20:25 The other
disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto
them, Except I shall see in his hands the print
of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand
into his side, I will not believe.
44-2:17 And it shall
come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all
flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men
shall see visions, and your old men shall dream
dreams:
44-2:27 Because
thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to
see corruption.
44-2:31 He seeing
this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in
hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
44-2:33 Therefore
being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the
promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
44-3:16 And his
name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath
given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
44-7:56 And said,
Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of
man standing on the right hand of God.
44-8:36 And as
they went on their way, they came
unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be
baptized?
44-13:35 Wherefore
he saith also in another psalm, Thou
shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see
corruption.
44-15:36 And some
days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in
every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
44-19:21 After these
things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through
Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I
must also see Rome.
44-19:26 Moreover
ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but
almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much
people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
44-20:25 And now,
behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of
God, shall see my face no more.
44-20:38 Sorrowing
most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto
the ship.
44-22:11 And when I
could not see for the glory of that light, being
led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
44-22:14 And he said,
The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and
see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice
of his mouth.
44-23:22 So the
chief captain then let the young man depart,
and charged him, See
thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
44-25:24 And Festus
said, King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews
have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also
here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.
44-28:20 For this
cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel
I am bound with this chain.
44-28:26 Saying, Go
unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and
seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
44-28:27 For the
heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and
their eyes have they closed; lest they should see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted,
and I should heal them.
45-1:11 For I
long to see you, that I may impart unto you some
spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
45-7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law
of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my
members.
45-8:25 But if we
hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
45-11:8 (According
as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they
should not see, and ears that they should not
hear;) unto this day.
45-11:10 Let their
eyes be darkened that they may not see, and bow
down their back alway.
45-15:21 But as it
is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see:
and they that have not heard shall understand.
45-15:24 Whensoever
I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way
thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company.
46-1:26 For
ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many
wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
46-8:10 For
if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at
meat in the idol’s temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened
to eat those things which are offered to idols;
46-13:12 For
now we see through a glass, darkly; but then
face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am
known.
46-16:7 For
I will not see you now by the way; but I trust
to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
46-16:10 Now
if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you
without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
47-8:7 Therefore,
as ye abound in every thing, in faith,
and utterance, and knowledge, and in all
diligence, and in your love to us, see that
ye abound in this grace also.
48-1:18 Then
after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see
Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
48-6:11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with
mine own hand.
49-3:9 And to
make all men see
what is the fellowship of the
mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who
created all things by Jesus Christ:
49-5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but
as wise,
49-5:33 Nevertheless
let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the
wife see that
she reverence her husband.
50-1:27 Only let
your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come
and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of
your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together
for the faith of the gospel;
50-2:23 Him therefore
I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see
how it will go with me.
50-2:28 I sent
him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see
him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
52-2:17 But
we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart,
endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face
with great desire.
52-3:6 But
now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your
faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring
greatly to see us, as we also to see you:
52-3:10 Night
and day praying exceedingly that we might see
your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
52-5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good,
both among yourselves, and to all men.
54-6:16 Who only
hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no
man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
55-1:4 Greatly
desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy
tears, that I may be filled with joy;
58-2:8 Thou
hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in
subjection under him, he left nothing that
is not put under him. But now we see not yet
all things put under him.
58-2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels
for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace
of God should taste death for every man.
58-3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
58-8:5 Who
serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished
of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See,
saith he, that thou make all things
according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
58-10:25 Not
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see
the day approaching.
58-11:5 By faith
Enoch was translated that he should not see
death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his
translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
58-12:14 Follow
peace with all men, and holiness,
without which no man shall see the Lord:
58-12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they
escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we
turn away from him that speaketh from
heaven:
58-13:23 Know ye
that our brother Timothy is set at
liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see
you.
59-2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not
by faith only.
60-1:8 Whom having
not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with
joy unspeakable and full of glory:
60-1:22 Seeing ye
have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned
love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart
fervently:
60-3:10 For he
that will love life, and see good days, let him
refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
61-1:9 But he
that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see
afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
62-3:2 Beloved,
now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we
know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
62-5:16 If any
man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask,
and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin
unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
64-1:14 But I
trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall
speak face to face. Peace be to thee.
Our friends salute thee. Greet the
friends by name.
66-1:7 Behold,
he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see
him, and they also which pierced him:
and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
66-1:12 And I
turned to see the voice that spake with me. And
being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
66-3:18 I counsel
thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white
raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that
the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with
eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
66-6:1 And I
saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of
thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
66-6:3 And when
he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
66-6:5 And when
he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that
sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
66-6:6 And I
heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a
penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the
wine.
66-6:7 And when
he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come
and see.
66-9:20 And the
rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the
works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold,
and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
66-11:9 And they
of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and
shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
66-16:15 Behold, I
come as a thief. Blessed is he that
watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
66-18:7 How much
she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give
her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
66-18:9 And the
kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her,
shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see
the smoke of her burning,
66-19:10 And I fell
at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See
thou do it not: I am thy
fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship
God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
66-22:4 And they
shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
66-22:9 Then
saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the
prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
