01-19:2 And he said,
Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s
house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and
go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
10-7:19 And
this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also
of thy servant’s house for a great while to
come. And is this the manner of man,
O Lord GOD?
11-11:13 Howbeit
I will not rend away all the kingdom; but
will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s
sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.
11-11:34 Howbeit
I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince
all the days of his life for David my servant’s
sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
12-8:19 Yet
the LORD would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s
sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children.
13-17:17 And
yet this was a small thing in thine
eyes, O God; for thou hast also spoken
of thy servant’s house for a great while to come,
and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of high degree, O LORD
God.
13-17:19 O
LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to
thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
23-45:4 For
Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect,
I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not
known me.
43-18:10 Then Simon
Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off
his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.

01-9:25 And he
said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
01-14:14 And when
Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born
in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
01-14:15 And he
divided himself against them, he and his servants,
by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
01-20:8 Therefore
Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were
sore afraid.
01-21:25 And
Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.
01-26:14 For he had
possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
01-26:15 For all
the wells which his father’s servants had digged
in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled
them with earth.
01-26:19 And
Isaac’s servants digged in the valley, and found
there a well of springing water.
01-26:25 And he
builded an altar there, and called upon the name of the LORD, and pitched his
tent there: and there Isaac’s servants digged a
well.
01-26:32 And it
came to pass the same day, that Isaac’s servants
came, and told him concerning the well which they had digged, and said unto
him, We have found water.
01-27:37 And Isaac
answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his
brethren have I given to him for servants; and
with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my
son?
01-32:16 And he delivered
them into the hand of his servants, every drove by themselves; and said unto his
servants, Pass over before me, and put a space
betwixt drove and drove.
01-40:20 And it
came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s
birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants:
and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
01-41:10 Pharaoh
was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward
in the captain of the guard’s house, both
me and the chief baker:
01-41:37 And the
thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.
01-41:38 And
Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
01-42:10 And they
said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants
come.
01-42:11 We are all one man’s sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies.
01-42:13 And they
said, Thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan;
and, behold, the youngest is this day
with our father, and one is not.
01-44:7 And they
said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these words? God forbid that thy servants should do according to this thing:
01-44:9 With
whomsoever of thy servants it be found, both let
him die, and we also will be my lord’s bondmen.
01-44:16 And Judah said,
What shall we say unto my lord? what shall we speak? or how shall we clear
ourselves? God hath found out the iniquity of thy servants:
behold, we are my lord’s servants, both we, and he also with whom the cup is found.
01-44:19 My lord
asked his servants, saying, Have ye a father, or
a brother?
01-44:21 And thou
saidst unto thy servants, Bring him down unto
me, that I may set mine eyes upon him.
01-44:23 And thou
saidst unto thy servants, Except your youngest
brother come down with you, ye shall see my face no more.
01-44:31 It shall
come to pass, when he seeth that the lad is
not with us, that he will die:
and thy servants shall bring down the gray hairs
of thy servant our father with sorrow to the grave.
01-45:16 And the
fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, Joseph’s brethren are come:
and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
01-47:3 And
Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your
occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants
are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.
01-47:4 They said
moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the
famine is sore in the land of Canaan:
now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants
dwell in the land of Goshen.
01-47:19 Wherefore
shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for
bread, and we and our land will be servants unto
Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we
may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
01-47:25 And they
said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and
we will be Pharaoh’s servants.
01-50:2 And
Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to
embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel.
01-50:7 And
Joseph went up to bury his father: and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all
the elders of the land of Egypt,
01-50:17 So shall
ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and
their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the
trespass of the servants of the God of thy
father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.
01-50:18 And his
brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we be thy servants.
02-5:15 Then the officers of the children of
Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou thus with
thy servants?
02-5:16 There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold,
thy servants are
beaten; but the fault is in thine
own people.
02-5:21 And they said unto them, The LORD
look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the
eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants,
to put a sword in their hand to slay us.
02-7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto
Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod
before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it
became a serpent.
02-7:20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the
LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of
Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and
all the waters that were in the river
were turned to blood.
02-8:3 And the river shall bring forth
frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy
bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy
kneadingtroughs:
02-8:4 And the frogs shall come up both on
thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.
02-8:9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over
me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants,
and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?
02-8:11 And the frogs shall depart from thee,
and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and
from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
02-8:21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people
go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon
thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy
people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of
swarms of flies, and also the ground
whereon they are.
02-8:29 And Moses said, Behold, I go out
from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants,
and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more
in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.
02-8:31 And the LORD did according to the
word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of
flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and
from his people; there remained not one.
02-9:14 For I will at this time send all my
plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants,
and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
02-9:20 He that feared the word of the LORD
among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
02-9:21 And he that regarded not the word of
the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the
field.
02-9:30 But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD
God.
02-9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain
and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his
heart, he and his servants.
02-10:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in
unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him:
02-10:6 And they shall fill thy houses, and
the houses of all thy servants, and the houses
of all the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers’ fathers have
seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned
himself, and went out from Pharaoh.
02-10:7 And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a
snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest
thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
02-11:3 And the LORD gave the people favour
in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.
02-11:8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down
themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee:
and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
02-12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he,
and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and
there was a great cry in Egypt; for there
was not a house where there was not
one dead.
02-14:5 And it was told the king of Egypt
that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said,
Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
02-32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,
thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own
self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven,
and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they
shall inherit it for ever.
03-25:42 For they are my servants,
which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as
bondmen.
03-25:55 For unto
me the children of Israel are servants; they are
my servants whom I brought forth out of the
land of Egypt: I am the LORD your
God.
04-22:18 And Balaam
answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If
Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the
word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
04-22:22 And God’s
anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way
for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with
him.
04-31:49 And they
said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum
of the men of war which are under our
charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.
04-32:4 Even the country which the LORD smote
before the congregation of Israel, is a
land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:
04-32:5 Wherefore,
said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy
servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.
04-32:25 And the children
of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.
04-32:27 But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before
the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.
04-32:31 And the
children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath
said unto thy servants, so will we do.
05-9:27 Remember
thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look
not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their
sin:
05-29:2 And Moses
called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did
before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;
05-32:36 For the
LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their
power is gone, and there is none
shut up, or left.
05-32:43 Rejoice, O
ye nations, with his people: for he
will avenge the blood of his servants, and will
render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
05-34:11 In all the
signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to
Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his
land,
06-9:8 And they
said unto Joshua, We are thy servants. And Joshua said unto them, Who are ye? and from whence come ye?
06-9:9 And they
said unto him, From a very far country thy servants
are come because of the name of the LORD thy God: for we have heard the fame of
him, and all that he did in Egypt,
06-9:11 Wherefore
our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take
victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants:
therefore now make ye a league with us.
06-9:24 And they
answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his
servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of
the land from before you, therefore we were sore afraid of our lives because of
you, and have done this thing.
06-10:6 And the
men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy
hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly,
and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the
mountains are gathered together against us.
07-3:24 When
he was gone out, his servants came; and when
they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer
chamber.
07-6:27 Then
Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as
the LORD had said unto him: and so it
was, because he feared his father’s household, and the men of the city, that he
could not do it by day, that he did it by night.
07-19:19 Yet
there is both straw and provender for our asses; and there is bread and wine
also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man which is with thy servants: there is no want of any thing.
09-4:9 Be
strong, and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you:
quit yourselves like men, and fight.
09-8:14 And
he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to
his servants.
09-8:15 And
he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his
officers, and to his servants.
09-8:17 He
will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.
09-9:3 And
the asses of Kish Saul’s father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take
now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go
seek the asses.
09-12:19 And
all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants
unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
09-16:15 And
Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil
spirit from God troubleth thee.
09-16:16 Let
our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a
man, who is a cunning player on an
harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee,
that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.
09-16:17 And
Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a
man that can play well, and bring him to
me.
09-16:18 Then
answered one of the servants, and said, Behold,
I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of
war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.
09-17:8 And
he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye
come out to set your battle in array?
am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let
him come down to me.
09-17:9 If
he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him,
then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.
09-18:5 And
David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and
behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was
accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.
09-18:22 And
Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and
say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king’s son in law.
09-18:23 And
Saul’s servants spake those words in the ears of
David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a
light thing to be a king’s son in
law, seeing that I am a poor man, and
lightly esteemed?
09-18:24 And
the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this
manner spake David.
09-18:26 And
when his servants told David these words, it
pleased David well to be the king’s son in law: and the days were not expired.
09-18:30 Then
the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went
forth, that David behaved himself
more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so
that his name was much set by.
09-19:1 And
Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants,
that they should kill David.
09-21:2 And
David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business,
and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabout I
send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants
to such and such a place.
09-21:7 Now
a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, detained before the
LORD; and his name was Doeg, an
Edomite, the chiefest of the herdmen that belonged
to Saul.
09-21:11 And
the servants of Achish said unto him, Is not this David the king of the land?
did they not sing one to another of him in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his
thousands, and David his ten thousands?
09-21:14 Then
said Achish unto his servants, Lo, ye see the
man is mad: wherefore then have ye
brought him to me?
09-22:6 When
Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah,
having his spear in his hand, and all his servants
were standing about him;)
09-22:7 Then
Saul said unto his servants that stood about him,
Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and
vineyards, and make you all captains
of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
09-22:9 Then
answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants
of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son
of Ahitub.
09-22:14 Then
Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants
as David, which is the king’s son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is
honourable in thine house?
09-22:17 And
the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests
of the LORD; because their hand also is with
David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to
fall upon the priests of the LORD.
09-24:7 So
David stayed his servants with these words, and
suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and
went on his way.
09-25:8 Ask
thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour
in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh
to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son
David.
09-25:10 And
Nabal answered David’s servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants
now a days that break away every man from his master.
09-25:19 And
she said unto her servants, Go on before me;
behold, I come after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.
09-25:40 And
when the servants of David were come to Abigail
to Carmel, they spake unto her, saying, David sent us unto thee, to take thee
to him to wife.
09-25:41 And
she arose, and bowed herself on her face
to the earth, and said, Behold, let thine
handmaid be a servant to wash the
feet of the servants of my lord.
09-28:7 Then
said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman
that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.
09-28:23 But
he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants,
together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So
he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.
09-28:25 And
she brought it before Saul, and
before his servants; and they did eat. Then they
rose up, and went away that night.
09-29:10 Wherefore
now rise up early in the morning with thy master’s servants
that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have
light, depart.
10-2:12 And
Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth
the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
10-2:13 And
Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of
David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the
one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
10-2:15 Then
there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbosheth the son of Saul,
and twelve of the servants of David.
10-2:17 And
there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of
Israel, before the servants of David.
10-2:30 And
Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people
together, there lacked of David’s servants
nineteen men and Asahel.
10-2:31 But
the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin,
and of Abner’s men, so that three
hundred and threescore men died.
10-3:22 And,
behold, the servants of David and Joab came from
pursuing a troop, and brought in a
great spoil with them: but Abner was not
with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in peace.
10-3:38 And
the king said unto his servants, Know ye not
that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel?
10-6:20 Then
David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out
to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who
uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly
uncovereth himself!
10-8:2 And
he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground;
even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep
alive. And so the Moabites became
David’s servants, and brought gifts.
10-8:6 Then
David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and
brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
10-8:7 And
David took the shields of gold that were on the servants
of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.
10-8:14 And
he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of
Edom became David’s servants. And the LORD
preserved David whithersoever he went.
10-9:10 Thou
therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall
till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master’s son may have food to eat: but
Mephibosheth thy master’s son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had
fifteen sons and twenty servants.
10-9:12 And
Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was
Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
10-10:2 Then
said David, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father
shewed kindness unto me. And David sent to comfort him by the hand of his servants for his father. And David’s servants came into the land of the children of Ammon.
10-10:3 And
the princes of the children of Ammon said unto Hanun their lord, Thinkest thou
that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? hath
not David rather sent his servants unto thee, to search the city, and to spy it
out, and to overthrow it?
10-10:4 Wherefore
Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved off the
one half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them
away.
10-10:19 And
when all the kings that were servants to Hadarezer saw that they were smitten
before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Syrians
feared to help the children of Ammon any more.
10-11:1 And
it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his
servants with him, and all Israel; and they
destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still
at Jerusalem.
10-11:9 But
Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
10-11:11 And
Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my
lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are
encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to
drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou
livest, and as thy soul liveth, I
will not do this thing.
10-11:13 And
when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him
drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
10-11:17 And
the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
10-11:24 And
the shooters shot from off the wall upon thy servants;
and some of the king’s servants be dead, and thy servant Uriah the Hittite is
dead also.
10-12:18 And
it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child
was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto
him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if
we tell him that the child is dead?
10-12:19 But
when David saw that his servants whispered,
David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is
dead.
10-12:21 Then
said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst
fast and weep for the child, while it was
alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
10-13:24 And
Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers;
let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go
with thy servant.
10-13:28 Now
Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark
ye now when Amnon’s heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite
Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be
valiant.
10-13:29 And
the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as
Absalom had commanded. Then all the king’s sons arose, and every man gat him up
upon his mule, and fled.
10-13:31 Then
the king arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes rent.
10-13:36 And
it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the
king’s sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all
his servants wept very sore.
10-14:30 Therefore
he said unto his servants, See, Joab’s field is near
mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom’s servants set the field on fire.
10-14:31 Then
Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto his house,
and said unto him, Wherefore have thy servants
set my field on fire?
10-15:14 And
David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and
let us flee; for we shall not else escape
from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring
evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
10-15:15 And
the king’s servants said unto the king, Behold,
thy servants are
ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.
10-15:18 And
all his servants passed on beside him; and all
the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men
which came after him from Gath, passed on before the king.
10-16:6 And
he cast stones at David, and at all the servants
of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.
10-16:11 And
David said to Abishai, and to all his servants,

for the LORD hath bidden him.
10-17:20 And
when Absalom’s servants came to the woman to the
house, they said, Where is Ahimaaz
and Jonathan? And the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of

his head caught hold of the oak, and he was taken up between the heaven and the
earth; and the mule that was under
him went away.
10-19:5 And
Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the
faces of all thy servants, which this day have
saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives
of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines;
10-19:6 In
that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared
this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants:
for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this
day, then it had pleased thee well.
10-19:7 Now
therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not
forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse
unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.
10-19:14 And

heat.

king also said unto them, Take with you the servants
of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring
him down to Gihon:

lord king David, saying, God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and
make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the
bed.
11-2:39 And

therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants:

according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill
to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.
11-5:9 My
servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea
in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be
discharged there, and thou shalt receive them:
and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
11-8:23 And
he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no
God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and
mercy with thy servants that walk before thee
with all their heart:
11-8:32 Then
hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants,
condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the
righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
11-8:36 Then
hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants,
and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should
walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an
inheritance.

the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants,
and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and

spirit in her.

are thy men, happy are these thy servants,
which stand continually before thee, and that
hear thy wisdom.

king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
11-20:6 Yet
I will send my servants unto thee to morrow
about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.
11-20:12 And

themselves in array against the city.

the servants of the king of Syria said unto him,
Their gods are gods of the hills;
therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the
plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.
11-20:31 And
his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have
heard that the kings of the house of Israel are
merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon
our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy
life.

the life of these fifty thy servants, be
precious in thy sight.
12-2:16 And
they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants
fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest
peradventure the spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some
mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.
12-3:11 But
Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a
prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the
king of Israel’s servants answered and said,
Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat,
which poured water on the hands of Elijah.
12-5:13 And

said, My father, if the prophet had
bid thee do some great thing,
wouldest thou not have done it? how
much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

And he answered, I will go.

his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not
shew me which of us is for the king
of Israel?

one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king:
but Elisha, the prophet that is in
Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy
bedchamber.
12-7:12 And
the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants,

of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the
city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.
12-7:13 And
one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the
horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that
are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites
that are consumed:) and let us send and see.
12-9:7 And
thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of
my servants the prophets, and the blood of all
the servants of the LORD, at the hand of
Jezebel.

his servants carried him in a chariot to
Jerusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the city of
David.
12-10:5 And
he that was over the house, and he
that was over the city, the elders
also, and the bringers up of the
children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are
thy servants, and will do all that thou
shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
12-10:19 Now
therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting:
for I have a great sacrifice to do to
Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he
might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
12-10:23 And

of Baal only.

from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your
fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants
the prophets.
12-17:23 Until
the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out
of their own land to Assyria unto this day.
12-18:24 How
then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and
for horsemen?
12-18:26 Then
said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I
pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian
language; for we understand it: and
talk not with us in the Jews’ language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.

made him king in his father’s stead.

the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and

against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake
by his servants the prophets.

he went.

13-19:3 But
the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David
doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to
overthrow, and to spy out the land?

14-2:8 Send
me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know
that thy servants can skill to cut timber in
Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,
14-2:10 And,
behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers
that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand
measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand
baths of oil.
14-2:15 Now
therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath
spoken of, let him send unto his servants:
14-6:14 And
said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no
God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:
14-6:23 Then
hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants,
by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by
justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.
14-6:27 Then
hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants,
and of thy people Israel, when thou hast taught them the good way, wherein they
should walk; and send rain upon thy land, which thou hast given unto thy people
for an inheritance.

the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants,
and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also,
and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the
LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
14-9:7 Happy
are thy men, and happy are these thy servants,

the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir,
brought algum trees and precious stones.

they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them,

my service, and the service of the kingdoms of the countries.

they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres
of the kings.

Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Peruda,

the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants,
were three hundred ninety and two.
15-2:65 Beside
their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred
thirty and seven: and there were among
them two hundred singing men and singing women.
15-4:11 This
is the copy of the letter that they
sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes
the king; Thy servants the men on this side the
river, and at such a time.
15-5:11 And
thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants
of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many
years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.
15-9:11 Which
thou hast commanded by thy servants the
prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land
with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which
have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.
16-1:6 Let
thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the
prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the
children of Israel thy servants, and confess the
sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and
my father’s house have sinned.
16-1:10 Now
these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great
power, and by thy strong hand.
16-1:11 O
Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy
servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who
desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and
grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.
16-2:20 Then
answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, he will prosper us;
therefore we his servants will arise and build:
but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.
16-4:16 And
it came to pass from that time forth, that
the half of my servants wrought in the work,
and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and
the habergeons; and the rulers were behind
all the house of Judah.
16-4:23 So
neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor
the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, saving that every one put them off for
washing.
16-5:5 Yet
now our flesh is as the flesh of our
brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons
and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto
bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards.
16-5:10 I
likewise, and my brethren, and my servants, might exact of them money and corn: I pray
you, let us leave off this usury.
16-5:15 But
the former governors that had been before
me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine,
beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants
bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
16-5:16 Yea,
also I continued in the work of this wall, neither bought we any land: and all
my servants were
gathered thither unto the work.
16-7:57 The
children of Solomon’s servants: the children of
Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
16-7:60 All
the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants,
were three hundred ninety and two.
16-9:10 And
shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that
they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as it is this day.
16-9:36 Behold,
we are servants
this day, and for the land that thou
gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold,
we are servants
in it:
16-11:3 Now
these are the chief of the province that
dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his
possession in their cities, to wit, Israel,
the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
16-13:19 And
it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the
sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they
should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the
gates, that there should no burden be
brought in on the sabbath day.
17-1:3 In
the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles
and princes of the provinces, being before
him:
17-2:2 Then
said the king’s servants that ministered unto
him, Let there be fair young virgins sought for the king:
17-2:18 Then
the king made a great feast unto all his princes and his servants, even Esther’s
feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave gifts, according to the
state of the king.
17-3:2 And
all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and
reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai
bowed not, nor did him reverence.
17-3:3 Then
the king’s servants, which were in the king’s gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou
the king’s commandment?
17-4:11 All
the king’s servants, and the people of the
king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come
unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him
to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre,
that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these
thirty days.
17-5:11 And
Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children,
and all the things wherein the king
had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.
17-6:3 And
the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this?
Then said the king’s servants that ministered
unto him, There is nothing done for him.
17-6:5 And
the king’s servants said unto him, Behold, Haman
standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in.
18-1:15 And
the Sabeans fell upon them, and took
them away; yea, they have slain the servants
with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-1:16 While
he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up
the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them;
and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-1:17 While
he was yet speaking, there came also
another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the
camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants
with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
18-4:18 Behold,
he put no trust in his servants; and his angels
he charged with folly:
19-34:22 The
LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and
none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
19-69:36 The
seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and
they that love his name shall dwell therein.
19-79:2 The
dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven,
the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
19-79:10 Wherefore
should the heathen say, Where is their
God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants
which is shed.
19-89:50 Remember,
Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
19-90:13 Return,
O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
19-90:16 Let
thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory
unto their children.
19-102:14 For
thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and
favour the dust thereof.
19-102:28 The
children of thy servants shall continue, and
their seed shall be established before thee.
19-105:25 He
turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
19-113:1 Praise
ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise
the name of the LORD.
19-119:91 They
continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
19-123:2 Behold,
as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our
eyes wait upon the LORD our God,
until that he have mercy upon us.
19-134:1 Behold,
bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the
house of the LORD.
19-135:1 Praise
ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
19-135:9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the
midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
19-135:14 For
the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
20-29:12 If
a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
21-2:7 I
got me servants
and maidens, and had servants born in my house;
also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in
Jerusalem before me:
21-10:7 I
have seen servants upon horses, and princes
walking as servants upon the earth.
23-14:2 And
the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel
shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants
and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and
they shall rule over their oppressors.
23-36:9 How
then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and
for horsemen?
23-36:11 Then
said Eliakim and Shebna and Joah unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, unto thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it; and speak not to us in the Jews’
language, in the ears of the people that are
on the wall.
23-37:5 So
the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
23-37:6 And
Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD,
Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
23-37:24 By
thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and
hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the
mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars
thereof, and the choice fir trees
thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
23-54:17 No
weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment
thou shalt condemn. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the
LORD.
23-56:6 Also
the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and
to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants,
every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my
covenant;
23-65:9 And
I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my
mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants
shall dwell there.
23-65:13 Therefore
thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants
shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants
shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants
shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
23-65:14 Behold,
my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye
shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
23-65:15 And
ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall
slay thee, and call his servants by another
name:
23-66:14 And
when ye see this, your heart shall
rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD
shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
24-7:25 Since
the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I
have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets,
daily rising up early and sending them:
24-21:7 And
afterward, saith the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this
city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into
the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall smite them with the edge
of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.
24-22:2 And
say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne
of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people
that enter in by these gates:
24-22:4 For
if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this
house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses,
he, and his servants, and his people.
24-25:4 And
the LORD hath sent unto you all his servants the
prophets, rising early and sending them; but
ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
24-25:19 Pharaoh
king of Egypt, and his servants, and his
princes, and all his people;
24-26:5 To
hearken to the words of my servants the
prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but ye have not hearkened;
24-29:19 Because
they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by
my servants the prophets, rising up early and
sending them; but ye would not hear,
saith the LORD.
24-34:11 But
afterward they turned, and caused the servants
and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into
subjection for servants and for handmaids.
24-34:16 But
ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man
his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and
brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants
and for handmaids.
24-35:15 I
have sent also unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising up early and sending them,
saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings,
and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which
I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor
hearkened unto me.
24-36:24 Yet
they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants
that heard all these words.
24-36:31 And
I will punish him and his seed and his servants
for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced
against them; but they hearkened not.
24-37:2 But
neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of
the land, did hearken unto the words of the LORD, which he spake by the prophet
Jeremiah.
24-37:18 Moreover
Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against
thy servants, or against this people, that ye
have put me in prison?
24-44:4 Howbeit
I sent unto you all my servants the prophets,
rising early and sending them, saying,
Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
24-46:26 And
I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the
hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in
the days of old, saith the LORD.
25-5:8 Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us
out of their hand.
26-38:17 Thus
saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of
whom I have spoken in old time by my servants
the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
26-46:17 But
if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants,
then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the
prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons’ for them.
27-1:12 Prove
thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let
them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
27-1:13 Then
let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the
children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal
with thy servants.
27-2:4 Then
spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the
interpretation.
27-2:7 They
answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants
the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.
27-3:26 Then
Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God,
come forth, and come hither. Then
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27-3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said,
Blessed be the God of Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the
king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship
any god, except their own God.
27-9:6 Neither
have we hearkened unto thy servants the
prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers,
and to all the people of the land.
27-9:10 Neither
have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set
before us by his servants the prophets.
29-2:29 And
also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in
those days will I pour out my spirit.
30-3:7 Surely
the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
33-6:4 For
I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house
of servants; and I sent before thee Moses,
Aaron, and Miriam.
38-1:6 But
my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants
the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and
said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways,
and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
38-2:9 For,
behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts
hath sent me.
40-13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him,
Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
40-13:28 He said
unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants
said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
40-14:2 And said
unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he
is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in
him.
40-18:23 Therefore
is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account
of his servants.
40-21:34 And when
the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants
to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
40-21:35 And the
husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and
killed another, and stoned another.
40-21:36 Again, he
sent other servants more than the first: and
they did unto them likewise.
40-22:3 And sent
forth his servants to call them that were bidden
to the wedding: and they would not come.
40-22:4 Again, he
sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them
which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are
ready: come unto the marriage.
40-22:6 And the
remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
40-22:8 Then
saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready,
but they which were bidden were not worthy.
40-22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered
together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished
with guests.
40-22:13 Then said
the king to the servants, Bind him hand and
foot, and take him away, and cast him into
outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
40-25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man
travelling into a far country, who called
his own servants, and delivered unto them his
goods.
40-25:19 After a
long time the lord of those servants cometh, and
reckoneth with them.
40-26:58 But Peter
followed him afar off unto the high priest’s palace, and went in, and sat with
the servants, to see the end.
41-1:20 And
straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with
the hired servants, and went after him.
41-13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a
far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the
porter to watch.
41-14:54 And Peter
followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with
the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
41-14:65 And some
began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto
him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with
the palms of their hands.
42-12:37 Blessed are those servants,
whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that
he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth
and serve them.
42-12:38 And if he
shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
42-15:17 And when
he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants
of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
42-15:19 And am no
more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
42-15:22 But the
father said to his servants, Bring forth the
best robe, and put it on him; and put
a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
42-15:26 And he
called one of the servants, and asked what these
things meant.
42-17:10 So
likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you,
say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done
that which was our duty to do.
42-19:13 And he
called his ten servants, and delivered them ten
pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
42-19:15 And it
came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he
commanded these servants to be called unto him,
to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had
gained by trading.
43-2:5 His
mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he
saith unto you, do it.
43-2:9 When the
ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence
it was: (but the servants which drew the water
knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
43-4:51 And as he
was now going down, his servants met him, and
told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
43-15:15 Henceforth
I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth
not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have
heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
43-18:18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire
of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with
them, and warmed himself.
43-18:26 One of the
servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off,
saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?
43-18:36 Jesus
answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world,
then would my servants fight, that I should not
be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
44-2:18 And on my
servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out
in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
44-4:29 And now,
Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants,
that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
44-10:7 And when
the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his
household servants, and a devout soldier of them
that waited on him continually;
44-16:17 The same
followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the
way of salvation.
45-6:16 Know ye
not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants
to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;
whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
45-6:17 But God
be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin,
but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered
you.
45-6:18 Being
then made free from sin, ye became the servants
of righteousness.
45-6:19 I speak
after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have
yielded your members servants to uncleanness and
to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
45-6:20 For when
ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from
righteousness.
45-6:22 But now
being made free from sin, and become servants to
God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
46-7:23 Ye
are bought with a price; be not ye the servants
of men.
47-4:5 For
we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
49-6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh,
with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
49-6:6 Not with
eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants
of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
50-1:1 Paul and
Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all
the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
51-3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as
menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
51-4:1 Masters,
give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye
also have a Master in heaven.
54-6:1 Let as
many servants as are under the yoke count their
own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.
56-2:9 Exhort servants
to be obedient unto their own masters, and
to please them well in all things; not answering again;
60-2:16 As free,
and not using your liberty for a
cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of
God.
60-2:18 Servants, be subject
to your masters with all fear; not
only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.
61-2:19 While
they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants
of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in
bondage.
66-1:1 The
Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and
he sent and signified it by his angel
unto his servant John:
66-2:20 Notwithstanding
I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things
sacrificed unto idols.
66-7:3 Saying,
Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
66-10:7 But in
the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the
mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
66-11:18 And the
nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they
should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them
that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy
the earth.
66-19:2 For true
and righteous are his judgments: for
he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her
fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants
at her hand.
66-19:5 And a
voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
66-22:3 And there
shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;
and his servants shall serve him:
66-22:6 And he
said unto me, These sayings are faithful
and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his
servants the things which must shortly be done.

01-46:34 That ye
shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about
cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for
every shepherd is an abomination unto
the Egyptians.
02-8:24 And the LORD did so; and there came
