01-19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters
which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do
ye to them as is good in your eyes:
only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
07-9:15 And the bramble said unto the trees,
If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then
come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble,
and devour the cedars of Lebanon.
07-9:36 And when Gaal saw the people, he
said to Zebul, Behold, there come people down from the top of the mountains.
And Zebul said unto him, Thou seest the shadow
of the mountains as if they were men.
12-20:9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt
thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken:
shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go
back ten degrees?
12-20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light
thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees:
nay, but let the shadow return backward ten
degrees.
12-20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the
LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees
backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
13-29:15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
18-3:5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it;
let the blackness of the day terrify it.
18-7:2 As a servant earnestly desireth the
shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of his work:
18-8:9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth
are a shadow:)
18-10:21 Before I go whence I shall not return, even
to the land of darkness and the shadow of
death;
18-10:22 A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
18-12:22 He discovereth deep things out of
darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow
of death.
18-14:2 He cometh forth like a flower, and
is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and
continueth not.
18-16:16 My face is foul with weeping, and on
my eyelids is the shadow of death;
18-17:7 Mine eye also is dim by reason of
sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.
18-24:17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of
death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
18-28:3 He setteth an end to darkness, and
searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.
18-34:22 There
is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where
the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.
18-38:17 Have the gates of death been opened
unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow
of death?
18-40:22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow;
the willows of the brook compass him about.
19-17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye,
hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
19-23:4 Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no
evil: for thou art with me; thy rod
and thy staff they comfort me.
19-36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put
their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
19-44:19 Though thou hast sore broken us in
the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow
of death.
19-57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be
merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

19-91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place
of the most High shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty.
19-102:11 My days are like a shadow that declineth;
and I am withered like grass.
19-107:10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being
bound in affliction and iron;
19-107:14 He brought them out of darkness and
the shadow of death, and brake their bands in
sunder.
19-109:23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as
the locust.
19-144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow
that passeth away.
21-6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him
under the sun?
21-8:13 But it shall not be well with the
wicked, neither shall he prolong his days,
which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
22-2:3 As the
apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is
my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow
with great delight, and his fruit was sweet
to my taste.
23-4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for
a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a
place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
23-9:2 The people that walked in darkness
have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
23-16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make
thy shadow as the night in the midst of the
noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
23-25:4 For thou hast been a strength to the
poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible
ones is as a storm against the wall.
23-25:5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of
strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even
the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the
branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
23-30:2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and
have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of
Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
23-30:3 Therefore shall the strength of
Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow
of Egypt your confusion.
23-32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding
place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry
place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary
land.
23-34:15 There shall the great owl make her
nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow:
there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
23-38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun
dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which
degrees it was gone down.
23-49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a
sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he
hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
23-51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth,
and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine
hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and
say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
24-2:6 Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of
the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of
deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed
through, and where no man dwelt?
24-13:16 Give glory to the LORD your God,
before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains,
and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow
of death, and make it gross darkness.
24-48:45 They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire
shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall
devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
25-4:20 The breath of our nostrils, the
anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen.
26-17:23 In the mountain of the height of
Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be
a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
26-31:6 All the fowls of heaven made their
nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field
bring forth their young, and under his shadow
dwelt all great nations.
26-31:12 And strangers, the terrible of the
nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the
valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of
the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.
26-31:17 They also went down into hell with
him unto them that be slain with the
sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
27-4:12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much,
and in it was meat for all: the
beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the
fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
28-4:13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the
mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms,
because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your
spouses shall commit adultery.
28-14:7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the
scent thereof shall be as the wine of
Lebanon.
30-5:8 Seek
him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day
dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out
upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his
name:
32-4:5 So Jonah went out of the city, and
sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it
in the shadow, till he might see what would
become of the city.
32-4:6 And the LORD God prepared a gourd,
and made it to come up over Jonah,
that it might be a shadow over his head, to
deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
40-4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw
great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow
of death light is sprung up.
41-4:32 But when it is sown, it groweth up,
and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that
the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow
of it.
42-1:79 To give light to them that sit in
darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of
peace.
44-5:15 Insomuch that they brought forth the
sick into the streets, and laid them on
beds and couches, that at the least the shadow
of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
51-2:17 Which are a shadow
of things to come; but the body is of
Christ.
58-8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of
God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to
the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
58-10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those
sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers
thereunto perfect.
59-1:17 Every good gift and every perfect
gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no
variableness, neither shadow of turning.

23-18:1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
26-31:3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair
branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an
high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.
58-9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak
particularly.

22-2:17 Until the
day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my
beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
22-4:6 Until the
day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get
me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
24-6:4 Prepare ye war against her; arise,
and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.

27-1:7 Unto
whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to
Hananiah, of Shadrach;
and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.
27-2:49 Then
Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of
the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in
the gate of the king.
27-3:12 There
are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of
Babylon, Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve
not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
27-3:13 Then
Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury
commanded to bring Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
27-3:14 Nebuchadnezzar
spake and said unto them, Is it true,
O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do
not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
27-3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
27-3:19 Then
was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that
they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be
heated.
27-3:20 And
he commanded the most mighty men that were
in his army to bind Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
27-3:22 Therefore
because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the
flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
27-3:23 And
these three men, Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery
furnace.
27-3:26 Then
Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye
servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27-3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said,
Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and
have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not
serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
27-3:29 Therefore
I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing
amiss against the God of Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a
dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
27-3:30 Then
the king promoted Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

thou shalt make a candlestick of pure
gold: of beaten work shall the
candlestick be made: his shaft, and his

02-37:17 And
he made the candlestick of pure gold:
of beaten work made he the
candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his
bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
04-8:4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the
pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
23-49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a
sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;

of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was
departed from him.
16-5:13 Also I shook my lap, and said, So
God shake out every man from his house, and from
his labour, that performeth not this promise, even thus be he shaken out, and

people did according to this promise.

which made all my bones to shake.
18-15:33 He shall shake
off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.
18-16:4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul’s
stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake
mine head at you.
19-22:7 All they that see me laugh me to

19-69:23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they
see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
19-72:16 There shall be an handful of corn in

the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the
glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake

23-2:21 To go into the clefts of the rocks,

23-10:15 Shall the ax boast itself against him

them that lift it up, or as if the
staff should lift up itself, as if it
were no wood.
23-10:32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that

mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the
hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
23-13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of
her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce
anger.
23-14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly
look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the
earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
23-24:18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the
fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit
shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the
foundations of the earth do shake.

down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter
of Zion.

because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I
am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the
LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
26-26:10 By reason of the abundance of his
horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake
at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he
shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.
26-26:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus;

could not shake it: for it was founded upon a
rock.

the LORD to anger.

stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
